Mr. O'Reilly, sir.
Uh I won't give any details, but you have a reason to be a proud papa today.
Uh in terms of athletic achievements of one of your urchins, as you call them, your children.
Most people call them children.
You call your children urchins.
Uh I'm sure you're a proud dad.
Congratulations on that, sir.
Well, I'm getting ready to go to England.
Um against my will, but I gotta see how my money's being spent over there because my son's at Oxford and he's playing lacrosse and they waxed bath today.
They're five hours ahead.
13 to 4 in the opener.
So I think the Oxford guys are gloating.
I would not have given any of these details out.
The fact that you are is amazing to me.
When are you going over across the pond?
Well, I'm not gonna tell you that because I don't want to frighten everybody on the airplane.
By the way, if if uh Great Britain hears you're coming, they might, you know, put out an all points bulletin not to let you in the country.
I expect to be met by Scotland Yard.
Yeah, I expect it too.
The only good thing in your favor is the not armed.
You know what's interesting in the reports back from Oxford is that it's not that woke over there.
They're not doing that over there.
Wow.
That's actually a great report.
Yeah, just uh a quick diversion, funny story.
So um I'm in Great Britain, I'm in England, we're in London, and I don't remember what I was there covering, something.
I forget.
Uh but long story short is I say to my TV crew, I said, Well, no one's gonna know me over here.
I said, let's get some cameras.
There's an anti-Trump rally two blocks away.
It's massive.
And I said, let's go down there in the middle of it, and we'll probably have some fun and get some great tape and we'll put it on the show.
Uh Mr. O'Reilly, how long do you think it was before a mob surrounded me, ready to kill me?
Um, 30 seconds.
30.
Mr. O'Reilly gets an A plus plus, 30 seconds.
So the Bobbies, the the you know, their police that are unarmed, you know, literally have to get in the middle of this.
Now I'm ready to roll, you know, I'm I'm a street kid.
I'm re I don't know, somebody wants to come at me, I'm fine with that.
I don't get uncomfortable at all in those situations.
And they're like, you must leave now, sir.
Mr. Hannity, you are leaving now.
Because you and I have been on uh worldwide TV, even though they black us out in uh Great Britain with the internet.
Everybody knows who we are.
Everywhere I go.
No, don't you hate that?
I mean, I I thought I I went on a vacation abroad, something I'd never done in my life.
I was shocked.
Yeah.
I went table to table shaking hands and and selfies and signing autographs, which by the way, I'm I'm grateful where else we we don't have an audience.
We don't have an income, we don't have a job, we don't get to do what we love.
Uh but I was shocked.
I really was.
But I need to get out more.
It's the internet that uh drives all this.
And it's uh, you know, it's okay.
You don't want uh anybody to come up and be rude to your family.
I mean, that's uh Well, we've all had that happen.
It's but goes with the territory, you know, you just have to explain it to your kids.
Right.
But you know, of course I'm a mixed martial artist, you know.
I don't think you can fight your way out of a wet paper bag because you won't come and train uh with us, and I've invited you multiple times.
Well, once again, you're underestimating me, Hannity.
I know nobody wants to mess with a six foot four, two hundred pound guy.
Bill, your size means nothing to the skills that I've developed in the last twelve years.
It means nothing.
Well, anyway.
I'm just telling you, not that you care.
All right, let me get to a serious question and an issue that I want to talk to you about today.
Obviously, a lot going on in the news.
You will be happy to know I read your bill message of the day.
Bye bye, Kevin is the headline.
Right.
And it starts out with this this sentence.
It says, Democrats in the House showed the nation once again that they are far more cohesive than their Republican peers.
Not one Democrat voted for Speaker McCarthy to retain his job, and so for the first time in American history, a speaker has been dismissed.
All right, here's my question.
I say it all the time, Mr. O'Reilly.
Democrats circle the wagons, Republicans create circular firing squats.
Is this just the latest example?
Because that's how I see it.
Yeah, there's a little bit more to it than that, though.
So the Democratic Party, as it's comprised now in the House, are really children of Nancy Pelosi.
And Nancy Pelosi governed his speaker by saying to her constituents, if you don't go along with what I say, no money will be given to you from the political action committees to run for reelection.
So everybody did what she wanted them to do, with the exception of the squad once in a while, but even they fell into line after Pelosi scolded them publicly.
So that was what carried over last night.
I did expect a few Democrats in conservative districts to support McCarthy because there was no reason not to.
McCarthy was trying to get some kind of consensus to move the government ahead.
But you didn't get any.
On the Republican side, the problem is there is no leader of the Republican Party.
And in the Democratic side, there are three or four leaders.
None on the Republican side.
Trump is not a Republican.
And people go, Oh, Donald Trump.
No.
He doesn't know the history of the party.
He's more of a populist, but he's a populist conservative.
Exactly.
That's what he is.
He's a populist conservative.
That's where the MAGA people are.
That's where he is.
But he doesn't, he's not Newt Gingrich, who I know you're gonna you talked to last night.
I thought it was I'm gonna use a cut of that on the No Spin News tonight.
By the way, don't forget, from the great show Hannity.
By the way, there's a rumor you've been saying nice things about me behind my back.
I I'd like we might we might get into that.
All right, let me go back to this, because this is important.
But uh Gingrich was a leader of the Republicans.
He led the party.
And so it's different now when you have a populist guy like Trump at the top.
Who else fills in?
So Jim Jordan are gonna fight it out for the speakership.
I think those are the two most viable candidates.
Do you agree with that?
I agree, and I'm supporting Jim Jordan.
Uh I I like and I like Steve Skelees.
Nice man.
I I by the way, he's struggling with uh blood cancer right now, and I I just I can't even imagine why he's thinking of doing this.
Well, look, it's up to him.
I mean, if he does do it, he's gonna have to clarify his medical situation.
But um the Republican Party learned a terrible lesson yesterday, and I use the word terrible because most people don't follow this stuff like you and I, we do this for a living.
They're watching the bachelor, they're you know, you know, they don't know what's going on.
By the way, did you notice the bachelor's like old people now?
The old people.
By the way, you know, you would you would qualify for that show now.
I would and I'd win.
You absolutely Well, it depends.
If you're the bachelor, there's you know, fifty women that you get to choose from.
I mean, you can't lose, Bill.
I don't know.
I don't f I don't watch it, but it it's Bachelor of the Villages.
I think that's the show that's that's not a bad by the way.
How cool is the villages that you've been there, I've been there.
Isn't that the coolest place?
I love the villagers.
I'm afraid of the pickleball players.
They just go out with these rackets.
I don't know what they're doing.
Um I'll teach you how to you know have you never played pickleball.
Do you want me to teach you how to play?
I I can I think I can handle that.
But thank you.
I thank you for the offer very much.
You'd have a hard time because you're six foot twenty, so you know, you you've got this height advantage, and it could be an advantage, but it could also pickleball it it becomes a disadvantage in some ways.
Quick, I'm quick, so I I'd get that pickleball.
I don't you know what I don't understand?
How you hit it and the pickle doesn't splatter.
It's not a picklebill, it's a ball that barely bounces.
That's the trick.
What's that?
There's no pickles in there.
No, there's no pickle in the pickleball bill.
You know, if you you see all I gotta do is get you to drive the the fifteen minutes from your house.
I've been to your house.
You've never cut well, no, you were at my house once for a barbecue.
Yeah, and then uh I made you the best steak you ever had.
I was at your house for a barbecue and they were no, no, no.
It was a very nice that was Geraldo was there, wasn't he there?
So getting back to the real world, um the Democrats won and the Republicans lost.
Um because the eight Republicans who uh live in a world that doesn't exist, you know, the bottom line on this, and I'm a simple man and always get to the simple solution.
No matter what you do with spending in the House, Biden is gonna veto it.
That's it.
The Democrats want to spend trillions of dollars to buy votes.
That's their philosophy.
We'll we'll get power by buying votes, and Biden is never gonna cut spending at all.
Okay, so now you're you're really getting to the heart of the issue here.
This is why a strong speaker, if Republicans at their two priorities, and and Chip Roy and Byron Donald's and Scott Perry were the three Freedom Caucus conservatives whose CRI supported.
They had two of them.
One would have cut spending by eight percent and secured the borders.
The other would have cut spending by thirty, discretionary spending by thirty percent, and it would have included HR two.
That's the Republican bill to secure the borders.
Very powerful.
And because there was this group of people that wanted McCarthy out above all, they were the ones that stopped it.
The moderate Republicans went along with it, even the ones that had Joe Bi that are in Joe Biden won districts.
So that that kind of frustrated me because I thought that was the sweet spot.
But you're getting to the heart of it here.
If Republicans then, if they pass that bill and it we just had two trillion in debt, our debt now is three point three now we've got two hundred and fifty billion in new debt as of yesterday.
So we're like three four point uh thirty-four trillion dollars in debt.
If they stand strong and they pass a bill on budget, budgetary restraints, and border security, and go to conference with the Senate, I wouldn't budge.
But you're not gonna get it through.
Okay, so the Senate may not g get it through either.
So then at that point the government's gonna shut down Bill, and that doesn't I don't fear that.
Let that be on the Democrats' shoulders.
Agree.
So right now, uh the the country that doesn't pay attention is saying, Oh, the Republicans screwed up again, the Democrats are stronger than Republicans.
That's not the perception that you want.
You want to present a united front.
And uh look, in theory, and I am you know me, a very strong border guy.
I mean, I would go so far as to declare the cartels terrorist groups and wax them.
That's how far I would take it.
And it's insane to keep spending all this money because we don't have it, and people in America are taxed too much.
We are taxed too much.
So I'm in sympathy with the people who want to put an end to that.
But I understand how the government works.
First you have to get power.
And in thirteen months we all go to the polls, and hopefully the Democrats will be tossed out of there, and then the Republicans can get what they want.
Does that make sense?
It makes sense, but if if Republicans pass a bill that brings fiscal responsibility back and secures these borders, in three years, Biden will have aided and abetted eight million illegal immigrants Coming into this country, it is devastating every state in the union.
I listen, I understand the tactic, but to throw out McCarthy, who I thought No, no, no, but we're talking about two different things.
I'm I'm talking past McCarthy now.
I'm saying if Republicans now pass a bill with fiscal responsibility, border security, and they throw it to the Senate and just stay firm.
Okay.
Let's have that fight.
Um but I don't know why that accommodation couldn't have been made with McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
It could have been made.
That's what Chip Roy and Byron Donalds and Scott Perry.
By the way, they are hardcore conservatives.
Yeah, so I don't know why this was necessary yesterday.
It wasn't because the only reason was is the real agenda of a number of people they wanted McCarthy out.
Yeah.
And that's not good.
And that would have led to the twelve appropriations bills passed in the interim.
Well, that's why Gingrich was an important soundbite on the Hannity television show last night.
I know you have it on the radio today.
Um, because he would say, look, these guys are sabotaging their own party, and if I were speaker, I'd take I'd take care of them.
I I I he was genuinely upset, Gingrich, uh, yesterday.
And I thought that was a very interesting display that he he put on.
I can't argue with him.
I was disappointed, and I'm not a Republican.
I want to reiterate that.
I'm an independent.
But I was disappointed because I know how much damage the Democrats are doing to the country.
All right, we'll take a quick break.
We'll come back.

All right, so we have Jim Jordan now has thrown his hat in the ring.
I'm supporting Jim Jordan for Speaker.
I think he is by far the best choice.
This is him talking about the issue of Ukraine and Ukraine funding.
I know Steve Skalisa's in it.
I like Steve.
Personally, I think Jim Jordan's the guy for the job at this time.
Here's Jordan's comments on Ukraine.
What about Ukraine?
Are you what are you willing to move forward with an aid baggage for Ukraine if you're a speaker?
What I understand is at some point we're going to have to deal with this appropriation process in the right way.
And we're going to try to do that in the next what are we down to 41 days.
It is the border situation and it is crime on the streets.
I don't know if I should feel slighted by this because he made the announcement that that he'd run today and he was on my TV show last night.
I kept asking him, you know, would you consider putting your hat in the ring?
That's up to the conference.
Yeah, but you're not saying no.
So that means that it seems like you're open to it.
That would be up to the conference.
Well, he had a little different take on it today, and here's what he said.
Let's suppose the conference does get together and makes that decision as you just described and comes together.
And hypothetically they say the person we need to lead us now is Jim Jordan.
Would you accept that leadership?
Um again, yeah, at the conference, if the conference decides, that's that that's their decision.
But um and that's how I think it has to be.
Now he sent out a letter today, dear colleague, and he talks about how the American people have entrusted us to lead the House of Representatives.
Our majority has had success in the first nine months of the hundred and eighteenth Congress.
We should be proud of what we have achieved together in these divided times, but our work is not done.
And he goes on to talk about far left progressive policies that are destroying our communities, our security, and and our future.
Goes into great specificity and great detail.
We agreed at the beginning of the Congress.
There are three fundamental things the House must do.
Pass bills that need to be passed, do oversight, reign in spending.
And he talked about the progress we made.
Then concludes his letter to his colleague saying we are at a critical crossroad in our nation's history, and now is the time for our Republican conference to come together and keep our promises to Americans.
The problems we face are challenging, but they're not insurmountable.
We can focus on the uh changes that improve the country and unite us in offering real solutions.
But no matter what we do, we must do it together as a conference.
I respectfully ask for your support for Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Anyway, joining us now to discuss this and much more.
Uh we have Indiana Congressman uh Jim Banks, uh, who himself, like me, is supporting Jim Jordan for Speaker.
Uh And uh Mr. Banks, Congressman, sir, how are you?
Welcome back.
Sean, good to be with you.
All right, let's talk about Jim Jordan.
I think he's the right guy in the right place at the right time.
Um, and I'm I'm not sure what you're hearing from your fellow members.
Well, I've spoken to a number of my colleagues today.
Jim Jordan's the obvious choice.
He's the he's the the the proven conservative fighter.
Uh every time there's a uh a big fight on Capitol Hill, he's in the middle of it, often leading the conservative uh the uh the conservative end of the fight.
So he's the best communicator that we have in our party.
That's what we really need right now.
We be we need a better speaker uh as the speaker of the house than Hakeem Jeffries, who is a great communicator for the other side.
And Jim Jordan's that guy.
So he led the Republican Study Committee, which I led last term.
He was the founder of the Freedom Caucus, he's chairman of the House Judiciary Committee leading all of the important oversight work.
Uh the Democrats aren't afraid of some of these other guys, and I like uh like you, I like some of these other guys.
But they fear Jim Jordan.
That's why every day they try to destroy him.
And that's why I believe he's the best guy on our side to put into this important role to rally Republicans uh to unify the party and then to wage war on the radical left who's trying to destroy this country.
He's the obvious choice.
So he announces that he's running.
Um look, I uh uh I I've not spent any time criticizing Matt Gates.
Matt, in many ways made arguments that were relevant and true.
One about the appropriations bills, that was I think should have been kept.
I think that there was an opportunity missed.
I think Republicans in July and August, rather than going on vacation, they should have been working hard on those appropriations bills.
Legitimate criticism.
I'm not as I'm not as persuaded by issues involving the balanced budget amendment or or term limit votes.
Uh I think they would have taken place over time, but they they certainly have no chance at all of ever becoming law, but I would like to get the Democrats on the record.
That can still happen.
Um and then uh I'm not sure what what Matt is really thinking about because he's already lashed out at the Speaker Pro Tem uh for not bringing the caucus together sooner and and having this real next big meeting on Tuesday.
Uh I do think there's going to be a little bit of time that is necessary.
Then I was surprised as he was blasting the work of Jim Jordan and James Comer and these investigations into the the Biden you know syndicate, what I call the Joe Biden bribery money laundering allegation scandal,
and he's calling it failure theater and kind of mocking Congressman Jordan's assertion that House Republicans have accomplished a ton in terms of oversight this year, uh, because they have accomplished a ton.
And you know, it hasn't been easy, it's been a pretty heavy lift because there's been zero cooperation um in terms of getting, you know, people to testify, getting uh records and information, but slowly but surely they have now unpeeled enough layers of this onion to show that Joe Biden was up to his eyeballs.
We know Joe Biden lied about never having spoken to his son, his brother, or anybody about foreign business deals.
We now know that Joe Biden was on at least twenty phone calls, as testified to by Devin Archer with Hunter and his foreign business partners.
Uh we learned about all of these shell corporations that the Biden family syndicate had put together.
We learned that nine Biden family members, nine of them, uh in fact, were responsible uh for for getting these payments, and we've now identified what we expect will be north of fifty million dollars in money, according to James Comer and Nancy Mace, that of monies from foreign entities that went into the Biden family conference.
And we also know, obviously, the timeline regarding Ukraine and leveraging a billion dollars to get the prosecutor fired so his son continues to get paid.
So that's a lot that they've accomplished that we didn't know about ahead of time.
Yeah, if you if you're serious about holding Joe Biden and the Biden family accountable for how they've sold this country out for their abuses of power, uh for how he's abused his position both as vice president and now as president, then Jim Jordan should be the speaker of the House.
He's been methodical in his approach in investigating uh the Biden family as chairman of the uh chairman of the J Judiciary Committee.
So it just seems again it's obvious to me that he's the right man at the right time to be Speaker of the House, to lead Republicans, to lead our oversight and a cat and a c uh holding the the Biden administration accountable for what they've done to this country and uh and then ultimately to save this country.
Also keep in mind, Sean, that the that that Jim Jordan is an America first fighter.
He's aligned with the leader of our party, Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is gonna be the nominee of the Republican Party to be president in 2024, and Jim Jordan is aligned with him, and he's aligned with that important agenda and the base of our party, the activists in our party, the voters of our party, they trust Jim Jordan because he's always been there on the right side of every issue.
So this is such a these leadership elections, they matter so much, and uh we have to get this right.
I mean, my my dad always said the Democrats are the evil party and you guys are the stupid party.
And it would be really stupid if we replaced Kevin McCarthy with someone who was who was not as conservative, who was less of a fighter.
And if Democrats can can team up with seven Republicans and oust the Republican Speaker of the House, then the Democrats can help choose the next Speaker of the House.
And we've got to do everything we can to stop that from happening.
Jim Jim Jordan's the right guy to be the fighter in that position, the right guy that we need at the right at this time to save this country, and that's why he has my full support.
What are you hearing from the rest of the caucus in terms of what is the reaction been to Jim's announcement that he's running for this?
Well, he ha a lot a lot of uh a lot of my colleagues, especially from the from the Midwest, Indiana, from other uh midwestern states are excited about um having having not just a conservative, but someone with our values, our common sense, the pro-life community.
They know that Jim Jordan is is pro-life, one of the one of the best social conservatives, cultural conservatives of our time uh to fight back against the radical left.
Um there's been a lot of excitement.
I mean, I I know there are others running for the job, but I think uh as as as everyone begins to think about it as it settles in, it's just so clear that that that Jim Jordan's the obvious choice.
Okay.
Now you you're gonna need the full caucus of support.
Um, but you know, there are some people that I'm I really can't figure out what their what their plan or motivation is on some of these issues.
Uh do you believe that you know uh are they gonna insist, for example, on this motion to vacate only needing one member uh that could uh you know put the entire House uh on on hit the pause button in the entire House and hold these people you know hostage as you know as time goes on.
I I think the motion to vacate should not be uh available to any one member.
I think it's got to be, you know, at least twenty-five members, thirty members before you can get to that point.
Do you agree with me?
Yeah, I I do.
Some some of these uh issues have been bubbling up though, Sean, for a decade.
You you know this because you've covered it uh for that long.
I mean, some of these these were personality issues that culminated yesterday and how some of these members voted.
They just did they they didn't trust Kevin vi vice versa, uh uh uh uh a lack of of of trust and they used the rules to take out the speaker.
They they do trust Jim Jordan, and they have every reason to because they've been in the they've been.
Well, I I thought so too until I read Matt Gates' criticism of Jim Jordan today.
Yeah, I I I don't get it, I don't understand it.
I I like you, I like Matt.
I work with him on a lot of issues on the Armed Services Committee to get wokism out of our military.
Um those are the fights that I've always gotten along with them, but I'm I'm not understanding that part.
Yeah, I uh that's that that's why we we we need someone to help to clean up the mess.
We need someone to come in and be the speaker to unify the party and and so obvious to me that Jim Jordan is that guy.
All right, you and I are on the same page here.
If you had to guess, what are the odds he becomes the speaker?
I think they're pretty good.
I mean, we're gonna have a candidate for him before the full conference on uh Tuesday, and as of right now, the election to elect the next speaker of the house will be sometime on Wednesday, and Jim Jordan has the momentum on his side.
Yeah, I I hope it doesn't take another fifteen votes and and giving in to concessions that are ridiculous.
That's what I hope.
me too.
Let's get it done.
Let's get it done.
Otherwise the American people's patience will ru run out very quickly here.
Republicans need to know that.
Uh anyway, appreciate it my friend.
Thank you.

Alright back to our busy phones.
Brenda Rhode Island beautiful Rhode Island.
What part of the state are you in?
I live in Rumford.
In where?
Rumford.
Why do I not know where Rumford is?
Where's that near?
It's in East Providence.
Okay.
I under I know exactly where you are.
I lived in Warren for five years.
Oh it's beautiful I I I live right up the road from there.
What's on your mind today?
Well Sean, I got quite a few things.
I love Newt, but I don't agree with him on some things.
That's right.
I mean my kids don't agree with their doubt on everything.
But the greatest day of Newt's career was when Chris Faley helped them on the floor.
When who helped him on the floor?
Chris Foley.
Oh yes yes yes that was the best day of Newt's career the best.
You mean when he would impersonate him on Saturday Night Live.
It was fabulous.
No he went to the house.
Oh that's right.
Yeah yeah yeah that's I remember now and um I don't really care for Matt Gates but I have to agree with him one hundred percent because I feel Kevin after the third vote nobody was voting for you that you should have stepped aside like Facebook.
Three strikes your route come up with another name we don't have time to play like this we need to get stuff done.
The people are suffering in America and Kevin wants to keep taking shots even though he's out and we went through all this and he sold himself out main deals with every Republican to get this feat that I seen him I watched the whole thing I don't miss that stuff.
And I watched him try to physically attack Matt Gates and made me look at him differently too listen I I've said yesterday and I stand by this today in the end this may not be a bad thing at all.
I am not in any way panicked as some other people are I think you know the system is what the system is.
However whoever becomes the next next speaker can't have a loaded again I'm speaking politically metaphorically analogy but they can have a a gun at their head and and do a good job in my view.
So you know the next speaker will have a little over a year to be speaker.
And if they don't like the job that that person does if it's Jim Jordan which I hope it is if they don't like the job that Jim Jordan is is doing they'll have a chance to replace him in the hundred and nineteenth Congress.
That's going to be up to them.
Alright we're kind of losing our colour there.
Thank you so much for that call.
