Rose Tennent fills in for the vacationing Sean Hannity and digs into the allegations that Federal Agencies conspired to undermine free speech. What does protected speech actually guarantee? Rose digs in a bit and why it's so important!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
So we will spend the next three hours together as I guest host for the awesome Sean Hannity.
It's a pleasure to be with all of you.
I want to say thank you to CMG and particularly Josh, who has made this happen for me.
Josh, you're awesome.
Thank you so much.
And for the team, Jason and Katie back at the studios.
I love being with you.
This is the best audience ever.
Honestly, it really is.
And we're going to have a lot of fun today.
A lot of topics.
I will give you a heads up on those coming up in just a few minutes.
Write down the number, do whatever you have to do to remember this number.
It's 800 941 Sean 800 941 Sean.
And in a little bit, I'll give you all the ways in which we can connect together.
So, you know, one of the things I wanted to talk about today, because there are so many concerns that I have for my family.
And I know that you share these concerns.
It's our family we worry about, the future, their future, the future of this country that we love so very much.
And these concerns, well, they're shared by all of us, right?
It's a collective concern, particularly when we look at the world right now.
And the world looks so very scary, doesn't it?
Wars, rumors of wars, the economic crisis, even though nobody wants to talk about it.
There is an economic crisis, crime, fentanyl killing our youth, and a national global agenda that is in direct violation of God's will for us.
We had been relatively comfortable, you know that you have for a very long time, right?
Things were going smoothly.
If we wanted something, we bought it.
If we wanted to travel somewhere, we did so without fear.
There was really very little concern beyond the normal day-to-day issues.
But now, now we're seeing things that concern us deeply.
Inflation brought about by wild government spending, the new alliances between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
There was France not too long ago telling China that they have nothing to fear from them.
And the most troubling, the nightmare of the 20th century has come true in the 21st.
Russia aligned with China.
And you add that to what our schools are attempting to teach our children.
And you know what?
It seems like the forces of evil are coming at us from all directions.
Doesn't it?
But as scary as these things are, and they are, I truly, truly believe, and I've shared this with you before, that it is no coincidence that we, you and I, are here for this time.
And I'm reminded of a scripture, Hebrews 12, 1, because sometimes a lot of us look towards it.
And even if you're not Jewish or Christian, you can still appreciate these things.
You can still apply them to your life because we're told to run with perseverance.
The race marked out for us.
You know what I love about this is that you notice the word marked out.
Marked is past tense.
That indicates that our course has already been determined.
We have already had a path that has been leveled out for us.
And so we're meant to look for and follow and run with perseverance.
That race that God has already prepared for us.
It's there waiting for us.
And you know, I know.
At times our race seems really difficult to navigate.
Yep, it is for so many of us.
And the temptation at times is to turn away from looking ahead and instead allowing ourselves to be distracted by the storms that come up on us.
And sometimes they just like, man, they just show up like that.
Unexpected storms, right?
You know it.
And I don't even know how people are doing this today and navigating those storms because these are tough times.
But if our goal is to win the prize for which we run, then we must ignore the distractions and weather the times of doubt and fear.
A lot of people have doubt and fear right now.
You know, and every time I go through these times of turmoil, and I personally am as well.
I'm reminded of an occasion in scripture, and I I'll love this, so bear with me if you don't mind, because the coolest thing is, I don't know if any of you have seen The Chosen, but it really brought this to life.
I mean, I remember reading about it before, but uh it just it just so drove it home.
I think it was the last scene in the final third season.
But you know, here you have the disciples who are in the middle of a lake, all right, and they're in a boat, and this violent storm comes upon them, and then they can see in the distance, Jesus is walking on the water, right?
Towards them.
So Peter gets down out of the boat, starts walking on the water with him, right?
And he says, Hey, listen, just tell me to do this.
Tell me to do it, and I can do it.
And he did, because he said, Yeah, come on, come on out.
You can do this.
And then, though, when the wind blew, that storm came upon him, unexpected.
He got afraid, and he started to sink and he cried out, Lord, save me.
But you know, and then of course, he did.
He reached out his hand and caught him, and he said, You have little faith.
Why do you not?
Why do you doubt?
But you think about this.
And he doubted the minute that he that he turned to look at the distraction, rather keep his eyes on the goal, right?
And I, and I was thinking they had just gotten off this like really high time because they were helping him perform this miracle feeding the thousands.
And he's like, Why do you not believe?
You know, you were just part of this, right?
And we've all seen, you know, us ourselves get through difficult times in the past.
We have to remember that.
We have to run this race, and this race requires great courage and clear vision and no allowance for distractions.
And there are so many distractions right now.
I know that.
And many times, and this is the really difficult part, the race will call us out of our comfort zone.
And there have been many in history that have been called out of their comfort zone.
And if they hadn't, wonderful great things would not have happened if it were not for their courage and their willingness to step out of that comfort zone.
We must believe that we will have that courage that we have been given that to run the race that's been marked out for us.
Even though we were intended to be here, it's not by chance.
You do have a choice.
Will you step out of your comfort zone?
Will you ignore the storms around you and stay focused on the one who has called you?
I mean, that's what's so important, isn't it?
And you've been called for this time, no coincidence.
And as I said, there have been a lot of people in situations all throughout history, similar situations.
And we're we're familiar with the risk that the disciples had to take to run their race, along with the saints and other great historic leaders.
And I'm reminded, because we just had the celebrated the 4th of July, I'm reminded of the speech that John Witherspoon made during the deliberations leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Everybody in the room agreed, and I've talked about this before with you, that declaring independence from a tyrant was the right thing to do.
There was no, there was no dissension on that point.
The idea that they should live as free as God had created them to live was their fervent desire.
But they knew that the freedom they wanted and what was necessary to pursue it came with great risk, risk to their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor.
And historians tell us that there was a period inside that room of hesitancy.
Can you blame them?
Can you blame them?
We are living in difficult times now.
We are looking at things that if we stand up for what we believe in, that comes with a great risk to our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor.
But it was so cool because John Witherspoon could read that room.
By the way, he was a minister among other things.
But he stood up and he made a passionate plea.
Much like we've heard in scripture in the past and in the old Testament, New Testament, he said there's a tide in the affairs of men, a nick of time.
We perceive it now before us, and he cautioned them against hesitancy because their very future and the future of those who came after them was at stake.
There are people like that, like Esther, the disciples, John Witherspoon, those who came after them had the courage to step out of a comfort zone for greater works.
And we must recognize the need to embrace the rules that have been given to us to run that race that's been marked out for us.
And you know, President Ronald Reagan knew all about that race.
And he often quoted scripture in this one particular speech.
He addressed the race marked out for us when he said, let us be sure that those who come after us will say of us that in our time, we did everything that could be done.
We finished the race.
We kept them free.
And we kept the faith.
Let it be said.
I have so much more coming up.
I can't wait to share with you a lot of great topics.
I want you to weigh in on many of them.
I have great guests joining me today, Pastor Jack Hibbs, one of the first guests joining me, Jerry L. Smith.
He is the author of Checkmate.
And also, Dr. Sapphire, we're going to talk about dementia.
That's something that people don't talk about much, and yet everyone knows someone who is suffering from that horrible ugly disease.
So we'll be back with Sean Hannity coming back, and I'm Rose.
We'll be right back with you.
It's the Sean Hannity show.
My name is Rose, guest hosting for today.
Love it.
Love you all too.
And I'd love to hear from you.
800 941 Sean.
That's 800 941 Sean.
So call in.
Hey, do me a favor too.
All right.
I'm going to give you a couple of ways and ways in which we can connect.
Um, it's Rose Unplugged for most things, right?
Rose Unplugged Podcast on Rumble.
I left Rumble because you know, you give out that podcast, and if you sign up, which is what I'm asking you to do, just subscribe and like it so that you can be notified every time I put out one of my podcasts.
So it's Rose Unplugged.
You're looking for one word on Rumble, also on Spotify.
But I also have an outreach for women now.
It's called She Is Called By Him.com.
She is called by Him.com.
And I would love for you to like that page and actually subscribe to that because I send out a newsletter, not a lot, maybe once every two weeks, devotionals, that kind of thing.
And I think you'll be really blessed by it.
So it's she is called by Him.com.
Subscribe there.
Also look for my podcast, Rose Unplugged, and that's Spotify, Rumble, and everything else.
Twitter is Rose Unplugged, present tense, and she is called by him.
And then Instagram is Rose Unplugged with a number one, and she is called by him on Instagram.
So just please do me a favor.
I love this audience, and you're so engaging.
If you would just follow me, like me, do all those things, wonderful things we're supposed to do.
Well, there's a lot that we're going to talk about today.
AI is one of the things I've been talking about a lot lately because it's creeping into every aspect of our lives.
And the creepiest creep is into the pulpit.
And that's why I asked Pastor Jack Hibb to join me today, because first of all, you may know him from Calvary Chapel, Chino Hill, and he has a television broadcast that's called Real Life with Jack Hibbs.
I check him out all the time.
I am so inspired by him and his messages.
But he's going to weigh in, and so can you.
I want to get your input too about your concerns about AI.
And there are many.
There's some really weird things going on, and we'll talk about that coming up.
Also, conservatives are moving to red states.
Liberals are moving to blue states.
So the you gotta ask the questions.
Are Americans segregating themselves by politics right now?
It kind of looks like that, doesn't it?
And is that a good thing?
You want to talk about, and we're gonna talk in more in depth about all of this coming up in today's program.
And here's another one that gets me.
I can't even believe that we're talking about this, but real meat versus lab grown.
Are you kidding me with this?
Don't you dare take away my steak.
I don't do it very often, but when I do, I want that steak.
I want it big, thick, and juicy.
But you gotta, you know, you are we really going to have to eat that at some point?
Are we even going to have a choice between lab grown and real meat?
And I want to talk about that.
You know, because the argument is that, well, the lab grown meats are so much better for the environment.
Are they?
Are they?
Because I have an article I'll share with you later on that suggests just The opposite.
Also, I want to talk about how to stay positive in a negative economy.
And that's exactly where we are right now.
It's things are bad.
But you know, there are things that you can do to still accomplish your goals.
And you should be setting goals.
So I asked a friend of mine, Jerry Smith, who's the founder of JLS Sales Academy, but he's also the author of the book, Checkmate, and a host of a brand new podcast called Seven Figure Wealth.
We're going to talk about achieving our goals and success, even in challenging economic times, like the ones that we find ourselves in right now.
And then a topic that I don't feel is discussed enough because there really is, there is a growing need for understanding, for assistance in this area, and maybe for some cures, because you know, everybody knows someone with dementia.
And it's so prevalent right now.
Are we doing the best to understand this terrible disease?
I am caring for someone who has it right now, a loved one.
And I over the last four years, I can tell you it is it's been quite the journey.
It's a very bittersweet journey.
And I'll never regret spending the time I did.
But it's a difficult journey, and you watch how it just steals the life from people that you love and others.
So I want to understand this disease a little more.
So our guest today, Dr. Nicole Sapphire.
She's the author of Panic Attack, Playing Politics with Science and the Fight Against COVID.
We're going to talk about dementia with Dr. Sapphire.
And then Millennials and Gen Zers.
Guys, we gotta weigh in on this, and I gotta hear what you have to say because Gen Zers especially seem to have a contempt for boomers.
My question is why?
I want to tell you something.
I have reasons why you need to reconsider your stance on boomers.
And by the way, you're gonna be Zoomers, the old zoomers to some generation coming up faster than you know.
So we'll talk about all of that coming up.
The phone call.
I am waiting for your phone call at 800-941 Sean.
That's 800 941 Sean.
Call me.
Let's talk about all of those things that we just discussed.
Or just say hi.
It is the Sean Hannity show.
My name is Rose.
I am guest hosting for him today, and I love it when they ask me to do this because I love his audience.
All of you are just so kind and I enjoy it so much.
The phone number here is 800-941 Sean.
That's 800 941 Sean.
And also I just wanted to remind you, please follow me and like me and do all those things that they ask you to do, particularly where my podcast is concerned.
It's Rose Unplugged Podcast.
It's on Rumble, Rose Unplugged, just one word, and also Spotify, but really rumble because they let you know when I have a new one dropping.
And then I have a an outreach for women.
It's called She Is Called By Him.com.
And you can sign up there for newsletters.
And we don't bombard you.
It's just once or twice a month, but it's very encouraging, very uplifting.
And then on Twitter, it's Rose Unplug 1G.
She is called by him on Twitter and Instagram, Rose Unplugged, the number one, and she is called by him.
So we've got some phone calls already, of course.
This is a handy new show.
Donna is calling from Florida, where I spend a lot of time these days.
Hey, Donna, what part of Florida are you from?
Inverness.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
I'm usually in more central Florida, but uh, I love the state.
One of my favorite places to go when I need some downtime, which I haven't had in probably four years, would be down to St. Pete.
Oh, St. Pete is too busy.
I swear it's fabulous.
And I live here now.
But Rose, I used to live in Wheeling.
Oh my gosh.
Wheeling, West Virginia.
W V AO is Ed Quinn and Rose on.
Oh, they did.
You know.
Thank you.
It's so nice to hear from you.
I wanted to ask you one thing.
Yeah.
I started tearing up when you were talking about Alzheimer's and dealing with a family member.
And I'm hoping it's not your father who is the most wonderful photographer.
Oh my goodness, thank you.
Yes.
He was a wonderful photographer.
And look at all pictures.
Oh, honey, thank you so much, Donna.
You're such a I thank you.
Thank you for the call, Donna, and I appreciate that.
And yeah, it's always tough when you go through that.
We're going to talk more about um dementia and Alzheimer's with Dr. Sapphire coming up on the show today.
Dale is calling from North Carolina.
Hey, how are you?
Hey, uh, good afternoon, Rose.
Thanks for uh taking my calm.
Oh, I called in.
I didn't know what topic you're talking about, but I want to talk about the drugs that they found in the White House.
If the president can't control the drugs that comes to the White House by attacking visitors, how do we expect him to control the drug problem that's facing the United States?
Well, exactly.
He's not handling it, is he?
Because we have children at risk and dying every single day.
This is a humanitarian crisis, and no one seems to give a rip about it in this administration.
And you're right.
How how I mean, like who the heck is surprised that there was cocaine in the White House?
I mean, really?
And yet there's, you know, they're backpacking back tiling on that and you know, trying to get away from that one, which is a huge story in and of itself.
But no, you're absolutely right.
You make a terrific point.
You make an absolutely terrific point.
And we know that he's failing miserably where the borders are concerned and where drugs are coming through.
And it's not just drugs.
I mean, we don't even know.
We can't account for children, hundreds of thousands of children that we can't even account for.
Some of them are in in horrific labor situations.
God knows where some of the others are.
And when there have been people in the the line of processing, all of these children who have raised red flags who have called out the system because they want to quickly get them through, right?
They don't want they don't like the optics of anybody waiting.
And they have raised the red flags, and no one, no, in fact, one woman in particular who raised a red flag about some of these children who cannot be accounted for, or she had concerns about where this child was going.
She was fired.
She went to lunch and came back and was told she was fired after she sent out emails.
So thank you, Dale, for your phone call.
You're absolutely right.
You make an excellent point.
Paul is calling from South Carolina.
Hey, Paul.
Yes, ma'am, Miss Rose.
I was gonna tell you, you're talking about the uh artificial meats a few minutes ago.
Yeah.
And I think that's stuff, uh I think they made a movie about something similar to that.
Uh they called it Soylent Green.
And yeah, it never worked out for anybody too well in the movie, I don't think.
You want to lose your appetite.
I I guess I could lose weight on this diet um of lab grown meat, and we're gonna talk more about that.
But Paul, it's just astounding.
My concern is because people have called in to me before and said, hey, you know, so what?
You know, I'm all for it.
I'll I'll eat it.
But that's fine.
Go ahead and eat it.
But you know what?
At some point, you know as well as I do that we're not going to even have a choice in the matter.
They will make that decision for us.
You will eat the lab grown meat and you will like it.
So, you know, I'm just I'm really concerned about that.
But thank you so much for your phone call.
The number here is 1-800-941-Shawn, 800-941 Sean.
You know, the federal judge um that banned Biden's HHS FBI from colluding with big tech to suppress online free speech.
That was pretty cool.
On Tuesday, the U.S. District Judge Terry Doty issued a preliminary injunction, and it really restricts the administration's interactions with social media platforms over matters of what should be considered protected speech.
And a lot of people are saying that this move knock this move is knocking down the efforts over the years of establishing this coordination between the government and social media companies.
And I was reading uh in American Faith, they quoted Stanford Law School Assistant Professor Evelyn Duke, weighing in by saying that the injunction is strikingly broad and clearly intended to chill any kind of contact between government actors and social media platforms.
And uh former Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry have spearheaded the case, and it all revolves around the allegations that federal government agencies conspired with social media giants, and you know who they are.
Um, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, to undermine your free speech.
So Schmidt and Landry in their filings argued that the Biden administration's actions amount to the most egregious violations of the First Amendment in the history of the United States of America.
Now, why is that important?
Because I I want to talk about The subject of our freedoms and how they were laid out for us in the Bill of Rights, specifically the most important being the First Amendment freedoms.
There was an argument that the second amendment should be the first.
They reasoned that without the second, the first would be meaningless.
But ultimately, they decided that one that of the five freedoms, the first should light the way for the rest.
Freedom of religion, speech, the press, the right to assemble, the right to petition government for the redress of grievances.
Those simple ideas, they shook the world to its foundations.
They seem so simple, don't they?
But there was a shaking as a result of those ideas.
Those freedoms did something that no other government even dared to try.
And what they did is they replaced all power.
They took it and they put the power in the hands of the individual.
That was radical.
And the only reason that we're able to do that here was there was no entrenched bureaucracy that was here to stop that.
We have that bureaucracy now.
And if we give those freedoms up for a test run of socialism, because that is what it is, isn't it, when someone is suppressing your freedom of speech, we will never get those freedoms back.
Because once upon a time, it was accepted that the Constitution was the greatest political document ever written.
And the proof of that is no other country has ever adopted it.
Why?
Because no other government would agree to give up that much power.
And sadly, if you walk down any street in America, it's likely that you'll find that almost no one can tell you those five freedoms I just recited because no one thought it was important to educate our children in the details of America's owner's manual.
They figure probably that if you don't know what you have, you're not going to miss it when it's gone.
Because see, power vested in the individual is a concept the ruling classes have hated since before the ink was dry on the Constitution.
It leaves them out.
And the amazing success of this American experiment only serves to make them hate it more because it exposes the irrelevance of those who seek power over us.
And they have worked diligently for centuries to claw that power back.
They have.
You know it, and I know it.
Their efforts in politics, academia, media, and law, they paid off.
Because we're at a tipping point right now.
So yeah, they paid off.
The red lights are flashing.
The American experiment that lit the world is close to becoming extinguished.
And as the government outsources their tyranny to social media, the indoctrinated rather than the educated, stand on the sidelines and they cheer censorship.
They cheer it.
Because emotion replaced thought.
Trigger warnings of microaggressions.
Oh my God.
Protect the ill-educated from hurtful ideas.
They're told that speech they disagree with is violence and they respond with violence, and then then they feel justified in doing so.
Listen, when we lose freedom of speech, we lose the most important tool of self-governance.
Debate.
The marketplace of ideas is no longer going to be necessary if our government is flipped on its head and every decision made by an executive state that cares so very little for us, the masses.
They don't care what you think.
The frightening reality is this is probably our last chance to preserve those freedoms.
And what we saw this administration do in the past, and remember when they wanted to set up the what we called lovingly or whatever you want to call the ministry of truth.
Remember that?
Where they had that woman who was going to decide what was misinformation?
Do you remember that?
No greater assault on our free speech than what was attempted by this administration.
This is our last chance, people, to preserve those freedoms.
They are so very, very important to us.
You're listening to Sean Hannity's radio show.
My name is Rose.
And I would love it if you would check my social media outlets out.
I am on Facebook as Rose Unplugged.
Go to uh Rumble too.
My podcast is there, Rose Unplugged.
It's all one word.
Please like it and subscribe.
That's so important to me.
Then I have Sheis Called By Him.com.
It's an outreach to women just to encourage you.
Because women, you know, you're facing all of these things just every bit as much as anyone else.
And there are decisions that you have to make for your family.
And so I just want to encourage you through She's Called by Him.
If you would subscribe to that, we can send you a newsletter once a month, twice a month.
And then Facebook is Rose Unplugged.
Facebook is She Is Called by Him.
Twitter, RoseUmplugged1G.
She's called by Him on Twitter and Instagram, Rose Unplugged and the number one.
And she is called by him on Instagram.
So I want to hear from you.
The phone number here is 800-941 Sean.
800-941 Sean.
We have a great show coming up for you.
We are only just getting started.
So hang in there with me.
Call if you like.
We'll talk about anything we've already discussed or all the subjects coming up.
Sean Hannity Show.
My name is Rose.
I'll be with you until 6 tonight.
Loving it.
I love when I'm asked to sit in for Sean.
And I love his audience.
I enjoy talking to you and hearing from you.
And that being said, the phone number is 800-941 Sean.
That's 800-941 Sean.
So coming up next, I've got Pastor Jack Hibbs.
We're going to talk about AI and how creepy it is.
And it just some of it really makes absolutely no sense to me.
And we'll we'll discuss all of that.
We'd love to get your opinion on it.
So get those numbers dialed in and weigh in on that.
Also, I did ask that you would check me out on social media.
It's Rose Unplugged, particularly on what is it?
Uh Rumble.
And I would love to hear from you there.
Okay, so on Rumble, it's Rose Unplugged.
It's all one word.
But you know, we were talking about free speech and how it's been tampered with with this administration.
And some of the things, you know, we had talked about before is that how it's been characterized like almost as a dystopian scenario where the the government seems to have assumed a role that's very similar to Orwellian Ministry of Truth.
That's what the judge actually in the case that we just discussed had said.
And if you if you remember in the novel uh of um 1984, Orwell's 1984, the Ministry of Truth is a governmental institution.
It was responsible for altering historic records and sending propaganda out to the masses and manipulating and controlling our perception of what things what things are actually happening.
And um, you know, it's it's the administration has done that.
If you remember going back to COVID, you know, if you had it, if you oppose the COVID-19 vaccines, even doctors who who opposed it or they they were actually questioning it or the efficacy of wearing a mask or the lockdowns and whether or not this was a um the whole lab leak thing.
Remember that?
You weren't even allowed to say that at one time.
So, you know, we were suppressed.
There's no way about it.
Anyone that had an opposing view to this administration, and then we find out there was collusion and all of that.
But and then I was remembering back, you know, to um to May of 2022, and we'll get to that coming up.
