Well, that can only mean one thing on this radio program, and that's all things self-proclaimed, Simple Man, all things Bill O'Reilly, and all things O'Reilly at billo'reilly.com.
You know, I'm going to surprise you at the start of this interview.
You ready?
I'm always ready for you, Hannity.
I actually like our little weekly chats here.
They're fun.
You're always on your A game.
Well, occasionally you're off, but you're usually on your A game, and you always have something interesting to say.
You have a very interesting take on everything.
So I want to get into Joe Biden has refused.
Well, from the very beginning, he said to Kevin McCarthy he would not negotiate the debt ceiling.
Yesterday, Janet Yellen said the drop-dead date is June 1st, or else the U.S. will default on its payments.
That can't happen.
That's the full faith credit of the U.S. government in play.
So Kevin McCarthy meets 90-some-odd days ago with Joe Biden, and Joe Biden tells him that he'll meet with him and they'll talk.
And he has not been willing to meet with Kevin McCarthy the whole time.
If I'm Kevin McCarthy, I'm thinking I only have a four-vote margin at best in the House.
There's probably no changes he's capable of making at this late hour.
So if the debt ceiling, if the U.S. defaults, it will be Joe Biden's fault because he's been asleep and unwilling to negotiate for 100 days.
In my view, I'll use your words.
What say you?
Well, number one, even if that scenario plays out, the press won't report it that way.
That's true.
So the people who don't follow the news, don't listen to Hannity and O'Reilly, they won't know who did what to whom.
Biden knows that.
The Democratic Party knows that, that they have cover from the corporate media, which will not report the facts of anything if it makes the Democratic Party look bad.
So that's number one reality.
Number two, I think McCarthy's got a little room on the future spending, but the far-right people in the House should be spoken with.
And these people should be told, listen, we're setting a baseline to stop the madness in federal spending.
And if we can win Congress in 24 and the presidency, then we'll accelerate all of the cuts, the spending cuts.
That's the strategy.
But for now, because we do have an election coming up, you've got to be a little bit flexible, a little bit nimble.
You have to say that to these really hardcore rights.
All right, Bill, let's say he says it and they say no.
Then they're destroying their own party.
But why would they be destroying their own party when Joe Biden has been missing in action for the entire time and he waits to the last minute so everybody goes into a full-fledged panic and out of that panic comes chaos and out of the chaos comes a horrible bill for the American people.
This is a fiscally responsible bill.
Okay, I agree with that.
But again, 50% of the American electorate doesn't know what's happening.
And I don't think people understand the gravity of that.
So you look at the polling.
I mean, Rasmussen has a poll out that says Biden's got 46% of job approval rating now.
I don't believe that poll, by the way.
Well, there was a poll out earlier in the week that had him at 36%.
So, you know.
I don't believe any of that stuff.
And people have got to know they're suffering economically.
They have to know that.
But the propaganda level is reached an all-high-time high.
I agree with you.
And so McCarthy and the Republicans, each and every one of them in the House, has to take that into effect.
The goal is to win in 24.
Okay, if you've got to sacrifice a little now, you've got to do that to set yourself up to beat these people.
And by the way, your audience, and I think they know that if they listen and watch you on television, the Democrats don't want any limits in spending at all.
None.
Like they want zero restrictions on abortion.
Right.
They want abortion to be legal up until the moment before birth.
And in the case of Northam, remember the governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, he said even post-birth.
I mean, you want to talk about extreme.
That's extreme.
But the Democratic Party wants to take over the economy.
That's why they want to spend the country into bankruptcy.
How come the Republicans can't message this?
And tell me why you don't think it will work.
Because today is the 92nd day since Joe Biden promised Speaker McCarthy that they would meet often and get this problem solved and not let it go to the last minute, which they're doing.
So it's 92 days as of today since they met.
McCarthy publicly has been basically begging Joe Biden to meet with him.
And he's steadfastly refused, Bill.
Now, if after 92 days of me asking you to go out to lunch and you keep saying no or you don't answer, I'm going to kind of take the message away that maybe Bill O'Reilly doesn't want to go to lunch with Annity.
But McCarthy should not be surprised by that.
So he should know that the Democratic Party doesn't want to negotiate the debt, the debt ceiling.
They want to spend unlimited amounts of taxpayer money so that the fiscal government collapses and they can sign an emergency decree or in an executive order to take over the economy.
That's the goal.
They don't want a private economy.
They don't want capitalism.
They want the government.
But we have co-equal branches of government, and the power of the purse lies with Congress.
So let me just give you the bullet points on the bill.
It raises the debt ceiling, which obviously has to happen.
It resets spending to 2022 levels.
It caps spending increases moving forward to 1% per year.
In other words, baseline budgeting is often 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%.
They're saying 1% increases every year.
They're not cutting anything.
It is projected by the CBO to reduce the deficit by almost $5 trillion, $4.8 trillion over the next 10 years.
Now, why can't they take that very simple message, you're a simple man, and bring that to the, quote, folks, and tell the folks that this is a really good bill and we're going to be fiscally responsible and they're not.
Okay, it's a good question you're asking, Hathi.
Gee, when you get props from O'Reilly, that's a good day.
The reason that the Republican Party does not have on-point messaging is that its leadership in Washington is divided.
So McCarthy's new in the job.
He's doing a good job, I think.
From what I can see, he's got the respect of most of his members, but not all.
Don't underestimate this far-right group in the House.
They are very destructive to the Republican Party, even though they...
But the Freedom Caucus went along with this.
Is there anything that I mentioned in this bill that you think is extreme?
That was a good question.
So McCarthy, he can message, but he's not going to get on the mainstream media very much.
They're just not going to put him on.
McConnell is MIA.
The turtle is within his shell.
You haven't heard a word about this from him.
And obviously, the Senate would have to go and agree if this is going to happen.
Where's McConnell?
Nowhere.
You know, you know me with him, Cates Law and all that.
I think this guy is the worst, Mitch McConnell.
So you have a divider.
You got one guy, McCarthy, in the House, leader of the House, with a common sense bill that would help the country.
And you got another guy in the Senate, the minority leader, who doesn't say a word.
And that's why you don't have the messaging the Democratic Party have, because they're 100%.
We don't want any limits on spending.
100%.
And that's the difference in the two parties.
You know, these are tough times for the country, Bill.
At what point with $31 trillion in debt, do they do the right thing and start thinking about future generations?
That means your urchins, as you call your children, my kids, your grandkids, my grandkids, when do we start thinking about them?
The Democratic Party is never going to think about them because it wants a socialistic type government.
It feels that's better for the urchins than the capitalist system we have now.
So they're never, ever going to say, we're going to constrain our spending.
We're going to take a hard look at where the government money is going and cut out the waste.
Just the fact that millions of Americans who can work and are not homebound-minding children get unbelievable entitlements sent to them every month by the federal government.
Just that alone should outrage every working American.
And that's what's happening because the Democratic Party wants to buy votes and they're going to fill zone with cash.

Let me tell you what's really more important, and you may not know this, so maybe you'll want to make it a part of your show today.

Joe Biden wants to spend, we have $31 trillion in debt.
He wants to spend tax dollars, $500,000, may not sound like a lot of money to the federal government, in a grant to teach the English language in Pakistan on a program that includes quote, intensive professional development courses for Pakistani transgender youth.
Now, if you look at every department bill in the U.S. government, there's some climate alarmist new Green Deal insanity associated with the budgeting in every department.
Now, that's trillions of dollars, Bill.
It's insane what we're doing.
Of course.
And Biden doesn't even know that, by the way.
He doesn't even know the $500,000 or how much ever it is going to Pakistan.
He doesn't know any of this.
Where we live, Hannity, and I'm sure you saw this, the power company is going to raise fees, monthly bills on working people on Long Island 16%.
And California, by the way, your utility bill will be based on your income.
But let's put that aside.
The LIPA, Long Island Power Authority, says we have to raise all the bills on the people working in the stores as teachers, everybody, 16%, because we're paying too much money for climate change stuff mandated by the state of New York.
So the state of New York is ordering us to spend money on windmills or whatever it may be.
And we have to make that up by gouging the working people.
See, this is never going to end.
Never going to end.
Unless in 24, people rise up.
We thought they would in 22, they did not.
It's not that they didn't rise up, Bill.
It's that Democrats are playing a different game with elections.
Okay.
You know, well, there's truth to this.
Republicans have this reluctance, resistance to voting early, voting by mail, and there's something called legal ballot harvesting.
Why do you think all these Democrats can hide in their basement like Fetterman and Joe Biden and Katie Hobbes?
They spend hundreds of millions of dollars in negative ads.
They don't do debates, or if they do it, they do it after a million votes have been cast already, early votes.
And then they ballot harvest legally.
And Republicans have not matched that effort.
The Republicans shouldn't even have to bother with that.
The electorate in America should understand at this point in history what is happening, but they don't.
And the big factor that wasn't in play 10, 15 years ago.
You are getting an A-plus up until this moment.
Wait.
You're saying that the Republicans should not get in the ballot harvesting game and voting early and voting by mail?
They shouldn't have to.
But they do have to.
It's got to be a level playing field.
Okay, but my point is, Hannity, that 75% of Americans should understand the destruction the Democratic Party is wreaking on the country.
But I will go back to your original quote.
People are not listening to people like you and me, or enough Americans are not listening to people like you.
and maybe we both have big audiences to make it to make a significant enough impact on the country.
It's got to be the leadership.
People's lives should tell them.
They shouldn't have to be told by you and me what's happening to them.
They should know it.
But didn't you say after the last election that people voted against their own best interest?
Of course they did.
En mass.
So yes, the Republican Party's got to wise up about the elections, got to duplicate what the Democrats are doing.
All legal, by the way, don't do anything illegally.
But the American people, I don't know what it is, going to take a sledgehammer on your foot.
I like when you're fired up.

So thankfully, now we had another shooting in Atlanta.
One dead, three hospitalized in the shooting today.
The illegal immigrant involved in the killing of five innocent people.
I noticed last night, why is it that the networks that claim to be so compassionate, the news networks, the media mob that claim such compassion for the poor, for immigrants, for people of working class, et cetera,
minorities, they didn't really want to cover the arrest of the person responsible for killing five innocent people that had been deported five separate times and got back in very easily every single time.
You know, over at Fake News CNN, we have a reporter there stunned by the number of illegal immigrants in El Paso.
Listen to that.
And then General Barry McCaffrey, you know, he weighed in on Biden sending 1,500 troops to the border.
He said it's not much more than a gesture.
I would add it's like a photo op.
And I'm not minimizing 1,500 troops, but the amount of coverage that they would need to protect the entire border is a lot.
You're going to need a lot more troops to make that happen.
Anyway, listen to them.
It's difficult to describe, Jim, with words.
So I want to walk so you can walk with me and just see the magnitude of the number of individuals who are around this church here, just streets from downtown El Paso.
A lot of these individuals you'll see are males, adult males.
A lot of the women with children are actually in shelters, in a network of shelters throughout El Paso.
As you mentioned, the city of El Paso under a state of emergency.
They declared a disaster because of the influx, because they know that once Title 42 lifts, that there is going to be a greater influx of migrants.
But here's the thing.
So process this with me.
Title 42 allows immigration agents to swiftly return migrants back to Mexico.
So the obvious question as you look around is then why are there so many migrants if the federal government is actually implementing this Title 42?
Then why are there so many migrants out here?
Well, here's what we know.
From talking to migrants and community leaders and officials on both sides of the border, I can tell you that thousands of migrants, nearly 40,000, are in at least four northern Mexican cities.
And frustration is boiling over.
A lot of them are deciding to cross the border.
That's why you see so many out here.
Some of them are turning themselves in to border authorities, Jim.
Others are deciding to cross the border illegally because they've lost patients.
Thank you.
So, General, you told us that you were worried that this could become a catastrophe.
What did you mean by that?
Well, I think it's likely that we're going to see a ramped up tens of thousands of these poor people from Central America, southern Mexico, and now increasingly from all over the world, Venezuela, Ecuador, Cuba, trying to come into the United States, thinking that Title 42 gives them a green flag to cross the border, request asylum, and then get a hearing a year or so later.
So, what do you do about it?
Well, the 1,500 troops that are being deployed are really a tiny gesture.
Customs and Border Patrol is the largest law enforcement organization in the world.
It has 60,000 employees.
There's already a couple of thousand or more National Guard already deployed to the border.
The real question is, what are our articulated policies?
There's 180 million people in Central America.
A third of them are in such desperate circumstances, they will try and come to the United States.
Why not?
If you're a mother, if you have children, the injustice, the corruption, the poverty is simply unacceptable.
So, I think the Biden administration is thrashing around trying to figure out what to do.
1,500 troops without law enforcement authority are not much more than a gesture.
You know, no interest, though.
Just like all the years I've been scrolling names of people shot, shot and killed, murdered in Chicago, names you never hear of.
But if Democrats can politicize a shooting, then they're quick to do that.
And the only thing, one thing that these liberal news networks did not want to cover was the fact that this was an illegal immigrant that entered the country after being deported, not once, not twice, not three, not four times, five times.
They didn't want to cover that part.
They wanted to turn it into yet another gun debate.
That's it.
That is their political agenda.
Never mind the eight-year-old that was basically assassinated along with four adults.

This is an innocent child here.
The girl is four years old.
At some point in her life, if she doesn't already know, she's going to find out that her granddad, her grandfather, was the president of the United States and thought more about his dog than he did about her.
In other words, over Christmas, he has stockings, all six grandchildren.
He has seven of them.
And he had a stocking for the dog, but not for her.
You know, what is so hard?
Why is this even an issue for anybody that has a heart, a soul, and compassion?
She is an innocent little girl.
Embrace her.
Bring her into your life.
You know, the reasons, the whys, the wherefores and circumstances of how she came into this world are irrelevant.
This is your granddaughter.
Love her.

Listen, I'd like to talk to you on the old Hunter-Biden situation and Joe Biden.
We really got to get our head out of the proverbial sand.
They are running this ruse knowing that eventually they're going to say, oh, look, we convicted him of some ridiculous small, you know, tax evasion or firearm charge.
You know, he's going to get time suspended, if anything.
And then they're going to act like, so now you can't come after him, double jeopardy.
You can't come after him again.
And it's all a ruse.
And we have got to start calling it out from the news.
Well, that was what came up yesterday.
In other words, did they cover up the $400,000 tax payment that he should have filed in 2014, was advised to revise his tax returns in 2017.
Apparently, he didn't do it.
I've not double confirmed that.
And then you have this new news today, justthenews.com and John Solomon talking about James Comer has now subpoenaed a memo.
And apparently the FBI has a document alleging a pay-to-play scheme that does involve Joe Biden.
Now, look, this is what we know.
We know that Joe Biden lied when he said that he never had any discussion with Hunter or any family members as it relates to foreign business dealings.
We know that's not true.
Now the question is, they have access to the suspicious activity reports.
They have access also to the LLCs, many of which they didn't even know existed.
They now have identified it was not just three Bidens, but probably a dozen, maybe more.
And those show companies, those LLCs, were basically created to funnel money to individual family members, et cetera, et cetera.
Now, I don't know how much money.
I don't know what these accounts are.
But this is what James Comer is, who's leading the committee's investigation, is saying.
And I'm saying not so fast because every one of them, if it's within the statute of limitations, would be a crime in and of itself.
And what I want to know is this.
How much money did they do in business in China?
How much money was profited?
How much money did they do in business with Russia?
How much did they put in their pocket there, Ukraine, Kazakhstan?
And as Comer says, over a dozen other countries.
I want to know that.
And what did Joe know?
When did he know it?
And I want to know, did Joe Biden profit from this influence?
What would be an influence peddling scheme if they can prove it?
I want to know the answers to those questions.
When we get those answers, then hopefully there'll be justice in this country.
You know, right now, I would argue we have a dual justice system.
I didn't mean to cut you off.
Go ahead.
When are we going to get to hear Hunter up on the committee under oath?
I don't know.
Well, I think he has been at some point.
I'm not sure.
To the committee.
No, you're talking about under oath.
You mean being charged, indicted?
No, no, no.
Under oath, in front of the.
He can be subpoenaed and he can plead the fifth.
He doesn't have to say a word to the Congress, not one word.
We need to get that.
But they should subpoena him anyway.
They should force him to show up.
They should force him to plead the fifth on every question they have.
Is it a waste of time in some ways?
Yeah, but is it important if you are pursuing justice?
Yeah, it is.
But really, this is about, you know, is it true that the DOJ may have been protecting him?
What was the role of Tony Blinken?
Now we know that Congress now believes that Tony Blinken outright lied about his contacts with Hunter Biden.
Why was he in contact with Hunter Biden?
Why did he, you know, he knew nothing about the laptop.
Why did he organize 51 former Intel agents to sign a document saying that Hunter's laptop had all the earmarkings of a Russian disinformation campaign?
None of them knew anything about that laptop, not a single thing about that laptop.
So, you know, we're digging down deep here.
They're making a lot of progress.
I give them credit.
Well, I do.
I love those guys, but we have to get these people you're just speaking of, we have to get them on the record so that they can perjure themselves.
Or, like you said, they can plead the fifth, which, you know, if you don't have something positive to say, you generally shut your mouth, and that would be the fifth.
Well, I think it's very dangerous for conservatives, for example, to ever talk to law enforcement.
Look what they did to Michael Flynn.
They, you know, went in in his office, they acted like his friend, and meanwhile, they were interrogating him.
And how do we know?
Because James Comey bragged about it.
I sent them there.
I took advantage of the chaos in the early days of Trump's presidency.

I wanted to follow up on Jim Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee in New York City, the meeting for victims of violent crimes.

That's a start.
But now, what we need to do is expand from New York City to cities all across America.
And my suggestion is between now and 2024, we have monthly meetings where Congress and the Judiciary Committee go to the people.
And the slogan is: Congress is coming to a city near you.
I don't think it's a bad idea hearing from victims.
I don't know if you saw the show that night on Hannity, but I had one of the victims that lost her son on the program and gave very passionate testimony before that committee in New York.
I mean, the woman was amazing.
And it's sad.
This is a young man that served his country, had a bright future ahead of him, and you know, murdered in the streets of New York.
You know, stabbed to death in this case.
Sad, it's tragic.
