Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
Alright, news roundup information overload hour.
Toll free our numbers 800 941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the uh program.
We've been covering the House Judiciary Committee in their hearings in New York today as it relates to out of control, rampant crime.
Um I the star of the day I played earlier in the program was was Madeline Brahm.
Wow, she tore into everybody on this committee.
She lost one son killed in New York, another son severely wounded in New York, and just let them have it.
And it was pretty powerful.
Uh Jim Jordan started out the committee accusing Alvin Bragg of a radical political agenda and talking about Bragg's policies leading to more crime in New York City, not less.
But again, he's too busy going after Donald Trump, one man, one organization, and one family, you know, to care about acts of violence and theft and murder and mayhem and rapes and everything else that's been going on in New York City, just like so many other cities around the country and even small towns.
Listen.
Today's hearing is about the administration of justice and keeping communities safe.
Something that has always been a central focus of the House Judiciary Committee.
Our witnesses today have felt the effects of crime up close and personal.
They've been victimized by a justice system that cares more about political correctness than punishing the criminals who've harmed them and harmed their family.
We thank them for being here and sharing their story.
Their stories are emblematic of a city that's lost its way when it comes to fighting a crime and upholding the law.
As we all know, fairness under the law is a bedrock principle of American democracy.
In this country, justice is supposed to be blind, regardless of race, religion, or creed.
However, here in Manhattan, the scales of justice are weighed down by politics.
For the district attorney, justice isn't blind.
It's about looking for opportunities to advance a political agenda, a radical political agenda.
Rather than enforcing the law, the DA is using his office to do the bidding of left-wing campaign funders.
He's taken his soft on crime approach to the real criminals.
One of Mr. Bragg's first actions upon taking office in January of 2022 was to put out a memo that directed his assistant district attorneys not to prosecute certain crimes, including trespassing and resisting arrest.
The memo also stated that armed robberies should not be prosecuted as felonies.
Instead, they were to be considered as misdemeanor larceny unless someone was shot during the course of the robbery.
Thank goodness, after a backlash from police groups and the public, Mr. Bragg agreed to prosecute some robberies as felonies, but left the rest of the memo in place.
The president of NYPD Detectives Endowment Association said, quote, Bragg gives criminals the roadmap to freedom from prosecution and control of our streets.
But you had Democrats on the committee, By the way, uh I saw that Adam Schiff uh and Adam Schiff had a shift show of his own because he was interrupted by interrupted by a heckler at the crime hearing.
Then you have Democrat Hank Johnson calling witnesses and the crime hearing props.
Now I just mentioned to you that we have on a woman tonight on TV, and she lost uh Madeline Brahmers her name.
She lost one child and another child severely injured with a coloscomay bag.
And uh anyway, and she sh wow, her testimony was so powerful, and this is how a Democrat reacts to it all.
The Republican witnesses who have used their time to criticize district attorney Bragg has served as props in a MAGA Broadway production.
The real purpose in coming to New York City.
The real purpose in coming to New York City.
Gentlemen, we'll suspend the clerk.
Gentlemen, I've for the audience, I've said several times now that we committee has to be in order.
If if anyone continues, then we're gonna have to escort some people out.
Please don't talk that.
Please don't talk down to us, witnesses, please.
Instead, it is the GOP leadership in Congress doing what it has done best for the last six years, and that is to act as the criminal defense counsel for Donald J. Trump.
Well, let me tell you this.
Let me tell you this.
Capitol Police Gentlemen will suspend.
Capitol Police.
Capitol Police will remove the gentleman from the audience.
Let me tell you this.
Let me tell you this.
Gentlemen gentlemen.
Let me tell you this.
Now that was against Adam Schiff.
Uh, you know, here they're talking about dead children and innocent victims, and Adam Schiff wants to talk about what?
Donald Trump, of course.
Uh, which uh is just pretty um unbelievable.
Uh it was right to do this, call attention to this.
And now the question is can Congress defund this?
Uh she was at the hearings all day.
Uh our very own investigative reporter, uh, Sarah Carter was there.
By the way, her new children's book is now a best seller.
Uh that's called Club Awesome Sauce.
We have it on Hannity.com, it's on Amazon.com, bookstores everywhere.
Uh number one on Amazon.com and children's books.
We're very happy for Sarah.
Uh congratulations.
And you were at the sh uh at these hearings today.
It got crazy.
I love this woman.
Madeline Brain was gonna be on TV with us tonight.
Yeah, thanks so much, Sean.
Yeah, I was at the hearing all morning.
Uh, it was a very passionate hearing.
Uh it was also very tense as well.
You know, you could see the pain that it took these victims and the survivors, the families of the victims, to come up there and speak and tell their story.
Um, not just, you know, Madeline Brahm, who is so amazing and really talked about how the loss, the great loss of a child and the injury of another, and the fact that, you know, the DA only uh prosecuted two of the four perpetrators of the crime and basically let two of them off, got free, and that how that pained her.
And I think what was even more fascinating to me is the fact that regardless of the political uh side game that is going on on Capitol Hill, regardless of anything, regardless of what is happening with, you know, um Alvin Bragg and uh former President Donald Trump and his his weak indictment against him.
You would think that the Democrats would take a step back and say, we're gonna just gonna listen to these victims because this is real, this is what's happening in the city.
It's happening in cities, Democrat cities all across the United States.
Um and instead, it was almost as if they were putting words in the victim's mouth, which is what they were doing, say, we know you don't want to be here, you just want to be a prop.
You know, you're just being used as a prop.
And they're like, no, we're not being used.
We want someone to listen to us.
We want someone to hear us.
We are victims over and over again because you refuse to acknowledge what is happening in our city.
You refuse to acknowledge what is happening to our families.
You've refused to acknowledge the deaths of our family members.
And I think one thing that really came across loud and clear in this hearing was that the victims have a voice and that they have to be listened to and not Adam Schiff, uh Congressman Adam Schiff, not anyone else has the right to shut them down.
I mean, the most disgraceful people that I saw in the hearings, tell me if I'm wrong in order, was Hank Johnson calling them props was so disgusting.
Uh one, number two, Adam Schiff, of course, has to obsess over Trump.
Um when we're hearing testimony from parents that lost children.
Uh and then uh, you know, I uh I don't know who's worse, to be honest on the democratic side, but then then you have powerful testimony of somebody like Madeline Brahm.
And it just it just it laid bare.
Gerald Nadler was another idiot uh during these hearings.
But you know, Madel Madeline Brahm was amazing, and just if you can't feel if you if you if you don't have a heart for what she went through, that means you don't have a conscience or a soul.
And they're like paying attention to politics or calling these people props, they lost children.
Wake up.
What the hell is wrong with you?
Well, they lost children, and we have a DA here, the Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, who's more focused on politics than he is on the victim in his own city or the crime that is raised risen in the city over the last year.
Um more than 20%.
And you had Barry Borgan who told uh Congressman Navler, who said to Congressman Adler, who's the ranking member, he was disappointed in his fellow Jewish New Yorker.
He basically laid it out and described this horrific attack on his son Joseph, you know, saying that anti Semitism is on the rise in New York City.
We know that.
It's it's it it's an extreme rise that wasn't even something that I think people had perceived would happen even two years ago.
And he's saying you're not even paying attention to that.
You know, he's saying uh Schumer's not paying attention to it.
We've got New Yorkers out on the streets that are being beaten just because they're wearing a yamica.
You know, and nobody is saying anything about that either.
And I think you can just hear and feel that intensity inside the room.
I I really felt that this was one of the most powerful hearings I have attended in a long time and that I've seen in a long time.
And I think the reason why it was so successful, Sean, is because here you have the voice of the people, the voice of the victims, right?
These are people like Madeline who came up, Madeline Brahm, who came up and explained her story in detail, described the great loss that her and her family had felt.
You know, she's an advocate now for victims, right?
Uh and she was saying, you know, look, it doesn't matter what color you are, it doesn't matter what economic uh place you are on the spectrum.
What matters is is that as Americans we have to give a voice back to the victims.
And they made it very clear that the left has spent more time taking care of the criminals than taking care of the people of their city and the victims.
And I think right there is where the Republicans really and the GOP with this hearing really had the upper hand on the hearing because it gave a voice to the people that had really truly been directly affected by it.
You could see it even with the cops outside, you know, while I was outside, you could see, you know, uh their reaction to what was going on in there.
You could see that they felt like they were being supported.
I think the big thing in New York City, like a lot of cities like Philadelphia, where we've covered it for the show, you know, um, Democrat run cities that are falling apart.
Um, San Francisco right now, we see what's happening in San Francisco.
Uh is people feel like they're not being heard and they feel that the criminal gets more uh more attention from lawmakers and from the DA than the victims do.
Well, we look forward to your report tonight, uh, as well as uh we're gonna be joined by Madeline Brahm and Jim Jordan.
Uh this this was an amazing hearing.
I I agree with you.
I haven't seen anything like it in a long time.
Uh Sarah Carter, thank you.
Again, congrats.
Uh a great children's book, Parents, you're gonna love it.
Grandparents are gonna love it for your grandchildren.
It's called Club Awesome Sauce.
Now, number one on Amazon.
You can get it on Amazon.com, Hannity.com, bookstores all around the country, and uh we appreciate you uh traveling the world for us, uh Sarah Carter.
Thank you.
Thank you.
800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, let's get to our phones here.
Uh let us say hi to Hans as in North Carolina.
You know what?
Hans Christian Anderson.
I haven't heard that name in a long time.
Uh, what's going on, Hans?
How are you?
Oh, you're not that far off, Sean.
Thanks for taking my call.
It's actually Hans Christian Elson.
Oh, wow.
We're close.
Very close.
Uh I appreciate you taking my call.
I've been listening in about some of the uh the talks that you've been having about the um the hearings in New York today, and I have to say that Alwyn Bragg is nothing but a political hack.
And he needs to be disbarred as soon as possible.
I hope they're successful.
Uh I hope listen, uh selected prosecution, prosecutorial misconduct.
Nobody would have been charged the way Donald Trump was charged, uh sending out an indictment, doesn't even have the actual charges in the indictment, a 34-count indictment.
Uh, you know, you can see where their priorities are.
This is this is what he ran on.
Meanwhile, you know, you have the the mom of a dead child, the mom of an injured child, you know, passionately, she'll join us tonight.
She's gonna be great.
And you know, describing what happened to her and her her children and you know, Democrats, you know, pushing it off as, oh, they're just props.
Moms are props.
No, moms aren't props.
They're moms.
They have hearts, they have souls, they love their children.
And now this woman can't see one of her children, and the other child for the rest of his life is is gonna forever be, you know, have a disability that he otherwise would never have.
So sad.
It's but it's also preventable.
And listening to all the crime and everything, it's seg I want to segue right back into uh what you were talking about um not too awful long ago about this um National Guardsman that was the alleged leaker.
First off, I don't believe that someone at his caliber uh that low on the totem pole acted alone.
I think he's ended up being made a scapegoat.
It's funny you say that.
So many people have said the same thing.
Yeah, I just I think we'd find out that if they ever looked into it, we'd find out that it was somebody hired up higher up.
But what amazes me is how short a time it took them to find him and to the FBI to descend upon his house and take him out with you know, in in a true felony stop form and arrest him.
But we still haven't seen any results on Biden.
We still haven't seen any results on crooked Hillary.
We still haven't seen any results on Hunter.
I'm wondering if they can act that fast on one small fish.
What's taking them so long with everybody else?
It it just I can't I listen, you're saying it so well.
I wish I had more time to talk to you, but you you've nailed it.
You know, um and I I d I I have questions too how this person had access to this classified information.
I I don't think we've gotten the full story yet.
That's my my gut instinct.
Let's see what comes out over time.
Anyway, 800-941 Sean, our number, you want to be a part of the program.
Your calls final half hour of the program coming up.
Uh, and a great Hannity tonight, including Madeline Brahm, including Jim Jordan, including the great one Mark Levin, Ted Cruz, so much more.
Uh say D V Ron The Sean Hannity Show, a place where free speech and the First Amendment are still alive and well.
Get your dose of independence and liberty every weekday, right here with Sean.
Twenty five to the top of the hour, get to your calls.
Nine Eastern tonight, Hannity.
We got an amazing audience show.
Uh Jim Jordan, who's been in New York City all day.
Wow, what powerful testimony as it relates to victims of crime.
Madeline Brain will be with us.
Wow, she was on fire.
She was a total star as we've been talking about today.
Uh, you know, a victim describing Bragg's treatment towards her two sons and uh the sad story about how she lost one of her sons, murdered.
I mean, it's uh it's unbelievable.
Uh and you know what?
The city is is not doing its job to keep innocent people safe.
All right your call's coming up 800 941 Sean on number.
All right, let's get to our busy phones here.
800 941 Sean, uh, if you want to be a part of the program.
Jeff in Maryland.
Jeff, hi, how are you?
Glad you called.
Happy Monday if there's such a thing.
Happy Monday.
Hey, Sean.
Um quick question.
Um, first of all, you know, thank you.
Thanks, Fox News.
Without you guys it'd be new tr no truth told in this country.
Uh question keeps coming up with my conservative buddies that are act uh, you know, constantly, and recently it came back up because Tucker's doing those awesome interviews out of the LA um studios.
Fox News is based out of New York, you know, burnt your Christmas tree down a year or two ago.
So we just wondered if you had any insight why to you know, why why does Fox News choose to stay in these liberal cities?
I have no earthly idea.
I mean, that's it.
You know what you say, like you've heard the phrase it's out of my bay grade.
That that doesn't get the Sean, what do you think?
Where should we stay?
I'm like but that's where they're stationed, but they also have bureaus in New York and Florida, uh California, Los Angeles, San Francisco.
We got bureaus all around the country.
Um am I planning on staying in New York?
No, I'm not.
As soon as I get the word, I'm out.
I'm done.
Yeah, you mentioned that last week.
That's kind of why what kind of what we brought it up also.
So and listen, I like the Carolinas and I like Nashville.
Uh I like Texas, but I think I'm gonna end up in Florida.
That's where I'm looking.
Yeah, I'm gonna be right behind you.
All right, appreciate it.
Thanks, Sean.
All right, man, appreciate it.
Thanks for being with us.
Uh Bobby, North Carolina.
What's going on, Bobby?
How are you, sir?
Hello, Sean.
Uh, Thank you for taking my call.
Um, I've just been a little concerned about a few things, but before I say that anything about that, I just want to say I enjoy your radio show and I love watching you every night on TV.
I really appreciate it, and I say it a lot, uh I mean it a lot, and that is I can't do this show without you.
If you're not listening, if you're not watching, I don't have a job.
Well, if we're not here, the D VR will pick it up.
You know what I mean?
That's all right.
Thank you.
Or you can grab the podcast if you if you miss a show, don't worry.
Let not your heart be troubled.
That's exactly right.
Well, listen, uh, and I'm looking forward to the show when you have Laura and Tucker on your show one night.
You've been talking about that too.
Yeah, it's fun.
I mean, I I'm uh I will tell you why I went back to the audience shows.
People have been asking, we have one tonight, and what a lineup we have tonight.
I mean, we're gonna have this woman who is phenomenal, Madeline Brahm and Jim Jordan's gonna be on tonight.
Uh Sarah Carter was at the hearings, they're gonna join us.
Ted Cruz is on tonight, the great ones on tonight.
We and so anyway, we've we I'm doing them because what I realized is all those years that I did travel a lot more, I love meeting this audience.
Yeah, y if it wasn't for all of you in this audience, I would not have had my dreams come true.
And when I started, I promise you, when I was working for free and my first paid job was nineteen grand a year, my second paid job was forty-eight grand a year.
I thought I was rich.
Um I I just I always believed that I'd be fired.
And I never thought I'd survive.
And TV was never in the plans for me.
I always was a radio guy, and it just kinda happened, and now I'm the longest running primetime cable news host in the history of cable news.
Now, if you would have bet on me in October of nineteen ninety six, it would have been a bad bet.
I promise you, I was awful.
But you know, they were very patient with me and gave me uh time to grow and I'm very grateful for that.
And and thankfully you guys watch, because the minute you stop watching, I don't have a show.
Okay, and this was one of my concerns.
Um I hope I can remember everything I wanted to say.
Um, you know, last Thursday night, you know, you were talking about uh electric cars and um and gas powered cars and that type of thing.
And you know, they uh mentioned something about it supposed to be done by what twenty thirty-three or somewhere in there.
Twenty thirty-two, I believe, yeah.
Yes.
Um do you think that course that's just something that you know the the president came up with?
So um I'm just wondering, do you feel like that uh maybe when the next administration, like the Republicans, hopefully it's Trump, gets in there that they might be able to stop this or whatever.
And another thing too, you know, the power grid's gonna have to be boosted up.
I mean big time.
And we we've get we've gotta get away from the insanity of the climate alarmist religious cult.
Because they're making decisions based on some fantasy that that they're gonna be able to replace fossil fuels and in reality in the short term, and I'll define short term anywhere between ten and thirty years.
We're not getting off of fossil fuels.
You pay fifteen to twenty grand more for a a uh electric vehicle, okay?
Then you gotta pay for the charging station.
Then you gotta find places you can charge the car if you're going on a longer trip.
Uh where do you think where does the electricity come from that powers that electric vehicle?
Well, it comes from the electric grid, ninety percent of which are are are powered by fossil fuels.
And where do you get those batteries that are so sophisticated that last a long time?
Well, you have to pillage Mother Earth, and you have to use big heavy equipment that uses fossil fuels to get it out of the ground like coal bolt and nickel and manganese and whatever else they use.
So it's it's spend it's folly and it's a tax on hard working Americans.
Now Joe's already taxed oil, coal, and gas.
He's already taxed our pensions.
Now he's forcing you know, this is another tax, he's forcing corporations to pay more tax.
We we end up paying that bill, and we're gonna end up paying the bill for h you know, higher price cars, and that's still powered by an electric grid that is powered by fossil fuels.
So it makes no sense, does it?
No, it doesn't.
And it makes me wonder how much is it gonna cost, and you know they're not gonna pay for that.
We are to have the charging stations uh installed in our homes.
And you know, people just stay in time are struggling.
I mean, they're struggling now to buy gas, buy groceries, pay their light bill.
The light bills will be going to the moon just trying to uh you know, keep your car charged, and of course now, like here at home, we're sitting here with two cars and a truck, and I don't even know if that'll even if we'll even have anything like that by the time that time gets here because you won't be able to afford it.
Listen, I already Americans are suffering.
Twenty-five percent uh don't even have food security right now of of our fellow citizens.
You know, nearly two thirds of the country are living paycheck to paycheck.
Seventy percent are scared to death about the state of the economy.
Then you then you look at the world, which I've been talking at length about, this new axis of evil, Iran, Russia, and China, and then you look at our allies abandoning us, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt.
Um, then you look at Europe, you know, people like Macron, they don't even want to defend their own continent and they expect the United States to pay it.
I'm like, I'm not no, I'm not in I'm not in for that.
I'm tired of Americans being suckers because of other leaders in the world that don't do their jobs.
I really am.
I'm sick and tired of them.
Right.
Well, do you feel like that if the Republicans get in there that they may change this thing about the um you know, about the gas uh about the battery operated cars?
Yeah, they'll change all that.
A hundred percent.
We'll go back to energy independence.
If we get a Republican House, Senate, and President, we're d we're the game over.
Now we go back to common sense America and we'll get our economy roaring and we need somebody strong enough to stand up to China and to Putin and Russia and the Mullers in Iran.
That's what we need.
You know, we we uh I'm uh I'm just worried what happens, you know, until then.
And I'm worried if we're gonna win the next election.
That's why I'm railing on the Republicans to get their act together with voting.
Right.
You know, they need to fix you know, they they need to instill in everybody's mind it's okay to vote by mail and it's okay to vote early, and it you better do as much equal match the efforts of legal ballot harvesting that the Democrats are involved in, or you're gonna lose.
You start elections down by five hundred thousand, a million votes, two hundred thousand votes, you're not gonna catch up.
That's what the Republicans need to fix immediately.
And I'm you know, I'm like s you know, I'm gonna bring on Ronald McDaniel and say, what is the deal?
When are we gonna fix this?
Because they don't have much time.
This election's gonna be upon us in no time.
Anyway, thanks, appreciate the call.
Uh let's say hi to George in beautiful Las Vegas.
What's up, George?
How are you?
George, how are you?
All right, we lost George.
Let's go to Clyde in Texas, the free state of Texas.
What's up, Clyde?
How are you?
I am doing wonderful.
What's going on?
Well, fifty years ago in the seventies.
I had a small part in writing maintenance procedures for a anti-intercontinental ballistic missile system that could track items approximately the size of a basketball, two hundred miles above the North Pole from Montana in North Dakota.
And you can't tell me we can't acquire a target the size of three school buses once it enters our airspace, and I would really like to know what commander in chief gave the stand down order for that unidentified object to come across the United States.
That would be Joe Biden.
And you can't you you're right.
You cannot convince me they didn't see it.
Now we're finding out during Joe's time there might have been other balloons that that were not made public.
Then we have the three unidentified objects that they use four hundred thousand dollar sidewinder missiles to take out of the sky, and they never told us what those objects were.
We believe one of them was a hundred and forty dollar balloon from some balloon club.
Uh and they took the poor company up.
By the way, if I was them I'd sue for a new balloon.
Uh we 400,000 to take out a 140 dollar balloon.
Unreal.
But I am but you are correct.
If you worked in security, yes, they you cannot convince me a balloon the size of three buses went undetected until it was over Montana and that they made a decision not to shoot it down uh even though it was over airspace where it would have landed in a a field someplace.
And do you remember the trouble NASA got into back when the uh first space shuttle went up when they used one of our spy optics to sh look up to see the damaged tiles?
NASA got into all kinds of trouble because nobody in the world knew we had that optics capability.
I don't remember that incident incident, but I believe every word you say.
Anyway, good point.
I appreciate it, Clyde.
You're right on the money.
Uh Irvin is in Louisiana.
Irvin, how are you?
What's going on?
I'm doing well.
I am a Reagan Republican.
Yes, sir.
And uh I turned independent leaning Republican after George W, but I I've continued to vote Republican because they're the best choice.
Okay.
A gallup poll this year shows that the Democratic base is 30%.
Our base is 25%.
Independence leaning Democrat 19, independence leaning Republican 15, and then you have 11% straight independence.
My point is, this is an absolute neither party can win just with their base.
We've found that out in the three last elections.
So what I think the Republicans need to do and pivot towards, since the only thing we control is the House of Representatives, and I'm very proud of uh my congressman, Mr. Scalise, that is bringing an energy bill up to re reopen drilling so we could bring some pressure off of gas prices.
I love that.
But I really think the Republican leadership in the House of Representatives really needs to go strong on a couple of things.
First of all, the Armed Services Committee, which we held we we uh lead, should call in the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs, get them on a table, get them, take a note, get C-Span on it, and you guys cover it, and ask them specifically.
Did you call a stand down on those objects, or was that from the White House?
And if it was from the White House, did you infer or ask them not to do it, to shoot it down?
I would pin them on that just to find that out.
Because I think we do need to find it out.
I agree with you.
And I'd like to know what the other three objects were that they spent, you know, four hundred thousand dollars on each.
Actually, uh on one of them they spent eight hundred thousand dollars because they missed the first shot.
So that was, you know, all that money, and what did they shoot out of the sky?
We've never been told.
And the media just lets it go because they do nothing but cover for the radical democratic, you know, left and and the climate alarmist religious cult.
So it's crazy.
Uh anyway, my friend, thank you.
Appreciate you being with us.
Uh 800-94-1, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, that's gonna wrap things up for today.
Amazing Hannity, 9 Eastern on the Fox News Channel.
The star at this hearing in New York today, Madeline Brahm.
Wow, she was on fire.
She will join us uh as well as Sarah Carter was there.
Jim Jordan's committee was in New York.
Uh also reaction Ted Cruz, but the great one, Mark Levin.
Uh Kevin McCarthy, 100 days as the speaker.
How are they doing?
Are they keeping their promises?
Also, Kellyanne Conway, Kaylee McEnaney, uh, a Hannity audience show.
