I've never been more angry about a charge because today, the rule of law in the United States of America died.
This is a terrible thing to do for our country.
I don't know whether it helps or hurts.
I can tell you, in my opinion, it's a new way of cheating on elections.
It's called election interference.
And so I thought it'd be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like, do you solemnly swear?
And me getting to swear him in?
I just, I kind of just thought that would be an awesome moment.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to the revolution.
Where we are coming to your city.
Gonna play our guitars and sing you a contra song.
Sean Hennedy.
The new Sean Hannity show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour, 800-941-Sean, our number, if you want to be a part of the program.
With all the events unfolding today, I just thought it might be a good idea to get all of your reaction to all of this.
But I say this through the prism of what I stated at the beginning of today's show is that this is look, I once said in 2007, journalism in America is dead.
This is, we're watching the death of real justice in America right unfolding right before our eyes.
And I know a lot of people are fixated on the events of today, but I think the plan is much bigger than that.
You know, this will be followed by a civil case, an alleged sexual assault in a changing room in a department store civil lawsuit.
This ultimately, I believe, will be followed by Fulton County.
I mean, if you had, if you want to find a county as liberal as New York City or Manhattan, that would be Fulton County.
But anyway, in that case, I've read the transcript of that phone call with President Trump and Rafsenberger and everybody else and a lot of attorneys on that call and nobody said a word.
And to me, it's a weak case, but it doesn't matter.
What is this all about?
It's a strategy that is much bigger than today.
And that is to totally, completely drown, whether true or not, Donald J. Trump in legal, an illegal quicksand in the hope that one of these charges results in some type of penalty that would render him ineligible, at least in the minds of the American people, to ever run for president.
This isn't about whether you like Donald Trump or don't like Donald Trump.
The question that you should be asking, is this equal justice under the law?
Do we have equal justice under the law or do we have a dual justice system?
That's the bigger picture here.
But if you listen to your friends in the media, the media mob, you know, they're just elated over this indictment today, you know, over $130,000 Stormy Daniels case.
Listen.
Yes, from a historical perspective, an indictment against a former president is unprecedented.
But given that we're talking about this particular former president, Donald J. Trump, can you honestly say to yourself that an indictment is a surprise?
No, what would be political is to not prosecute somebody who's committed a crime and who has been indicted just because he's a former president?
That's not what we do in this country.
I'm going to ask Mary Trump tonight how her uncle is feeling as they close in on him and prosecutors' offices all over the country.
So many people were excited.
He's a liar.
Yeah.
He's a liar.
Are you shocked?
No, it annoys me every time.
I know.
That to them is manna from heaven.
That is glee.
But the deep ramifications, if you get into this here, and then you go back into all the things we've talked about regularly, I don't really need to repeat all the instances of a double standard or top secret classified information on a server.
Then, of course, 33,000 deleted emails with bleach bid, hammers, devices, then a dirty misinformation propaganda, Russian disinformation dossier.
The FBI can't corroborate it, but in the beginning of October 2016, but use it as the bulk of information to get a FISA warrant, to backdoor spy on the Trump campaign, later the Trump presidency.
Nobody's held accountable for any of those instances, even though it says verified at the top of a FISA application.
Then you've got the whole Hunter-Biden issue, low-hanging fruit, deeper issues involving the entire Biden family.
How much money did they do in all these foreign business dealings, but more particularly our geopolitical foes of Russia and China?
Seems like a massive amount of money.
How much money did they make?
Did Joe know?
Apparently he did.
And that means he lied to the country.
Is he going to be held accountable for that?
Is Hunter going to be held accountable?
You know, what point does this end?
At what point does somebody on their side ever get held accountable?
And the answer is I can't think of an example.
That's the sad part of this.
Steve is in New Jersey.
Steve watching the circus all day unfold.
Steve, how are you?
Glad you called.
You know, Sean, listening for a long time.
Yeah, I heard a lot of the commentators talking about I'm a retired police officer about the statute of limitations and how somebody like Brad will associates to get around that.
And that wasn't really clarified for your audience, so I thought I'd give them my opinion on how we'll do that.
When Trump went to Florida, the clock stops.
Also, for every stitch of information which reopens a case, the clock restarts.
So that's what they're going to use, that approximation of how they're going to continue.
That probably will be their argument.
And with judges that have already prejudged the case and hate Donald Trump politically, that would be the argument.
If the argument is that you couldn't get in touch with Donald Trump on an issue involving the law, that just is not true.
That is simply false.
And to me, it's just, you know, they're parsing words.
They're threading needles.
They're doing anything and everything in their power just to this is this is not political justice.
This is political persecution.
Do you believe, Steve, in New Jersey, for one minute that they would ever take what is a misdemeanor case that has outlived the statute of limitations and for the first time ever in New York, marry it to a federal offense so that they can extend out those statute of limitations?
Do you think they would do that for anybody that doesn't have the name Donald J. Trump?
No, I do not, Sean.
I actually think it's an over exaggeration extrapolation of the law, as you know, and I know that a lot of cases within the city felt felonious cases, people getting pushed into subway cars, and they're being released the same day.
This is a pathetic joke.
Alvin Bragg got voted in by a small percentage of the population.
They're very naive.
I think the Trump attorneys should do everything they can to get that case out of there.
Should do a change of venue, appeal everything all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States.
And I think a lot of these cases will be heard at higher courts because of the situation involving the probable next president of the United States of America.
So, no, it's a complete abuse of power.
You have it in the mayor, you have it in the attorney there, and it's continual in that city.
It's the worst place on planet Earth to be tried for Donald Trump is within the city of New York.
The next worst place would be Washington, D.C., and the next worst place after that would be Fulton County, Georgia.
Would you agree?
That's a pretty good analysis.
Yeah, I do.
I do agree with it.
I'd say I'd say it's a toss-up now between Washington, D.C. and New York.
You'd say, probably right about that.
And then the Georgia only thing I would say, the saving grace of that, as you know, Sean, a person that's actually lived in Georgia, such as yourself, they at least have a Republican governor.
So that's at least a little bit better than what Trump is dealing with in the state of New York, which is, as you know, the governor there does not like Mr. Trump, and she's not going to accommodate him whatsoever.
I don't think anybody's going to accommodate anywhere.
The people in charge, there's been a concerted effort by radical left groups to get these lenient DAs and prosecutors elected.
And in 52% of felony cases, they get lowered by Alvin Prague to misdemeanors.
Even people that have rap sheets a mile long, 46 offenses, including violent offenses.
We're talking about people that are arrested for assault and battery and robbery, et cetera.
They're all getting a slap on the wrist and they're getting these plea deals.
Even in the case of murder, I told you about, you know, one lady only got time served.
Another guy got seven years for murdering a former military guy.
I've given detail on these cases that he's allowed.
And then I read today, Trump could get 134 years in jail over this.
And I'm like, oh, great.
Anyway, Steve, appreciate it, buddy.
Thank you.
800-941-Sean, our number, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, let's get back to our busy telephones: 800-941, Sean, if you want to join us.
Garrett, California, Gary, your reaction to today's Adam Schiff Show.
Well, it's definitely, as you said.
And by the way, Sean, I'm a big fan of yours.
I respect your work highly.
Thank you.
I am a chess player, and I think people need to have a 30,000-foot view.
By the way, I'm an amateur chess player.
I wish I had the time to be better at it, but I love playing chess occasionally on my phone.
Well, you play chess in your field for sure.
But I look at it this way: Democrats hate Trump more than they've ever hated any human being ever going to walk the face of the planet for one reason.
He fights the way they fight.
And so Democrats play chess.
Republicans play checkers.
And I heard a great analogy once.
Look at the Democrats as the Harlem Globetrotters.
Look at the Republicans as the Washington generals.
The Washington generals are supposed to lose, but they don't mind losing because they're part of the game.
Now, here comes Trump, who knows how to win.
And so the Democrats are trying to distract everybody by saying, oh, he's too harsh.
He's a bully.
Well, I have news for people.
Every country on the planet had a bully that represented them.
We finally had a bully that represented us.
And you may think he's a bully, but add just one word in front of it.
He's your bully.
He represents you.
And so we get upset because we hired a gladiator in the Coliseum, and we're upset that he doesn't speak the King's English.
Well, my gosh, put yourself in his shoes.
They impeached him.
You know, hoax one, hoax two.
Hillary creates a fake dossier with Russian hookers.
Then they attack his son.
They attack his wife.
Then they do the Muller report.
They raid his home.
They do these fake charges.
My gosh, put yourself in his shoes.
If they did that to you, would you give a few mean tweets?
Let me tell you, most people would have cracked a long time ago under the pressure.
The guy is as strong as any person I've ever met.
All right, let's stick with your chess analogy and let's go to 40,000 feet above the turbulence, if you will.
And my big picture view is this.
And in chess, you want to think, you know, not one move ahead.
You want to look at the next five moves ahead based on what you think your opponent may or may not do.
And just looking at the big picture today is just one piece of a puzzle.
And that's going to be followed up by a civil case that will ultimately be a trial over an alleged sexual assault from 20, I think it's 27 years ago in a changing room at a department store.
That's what the allegation is.
Then we're going to move to Georgia.
And if I had to bet my bottom dollar, I would say there's going to be an indictment down there.
I've read the transcript numerous times.
There is no justification for that indictment.
Everyone focuses on one line.
I ask all of you to print out the entire call, and it's very long.
The third thing I would tell you is, you know, behind that, then you've got a special counsel.
And if I had to make a bet today, there's going to be charges related there too.
So what they're going to try to do here is smother him with all of these legal issues combined in the hopes that either A, they get jail time for him or B, you know, they make it impossible for him to run for president.
And I do I think this is paranoid thinking on my part?
I don't.
I don't think any of this would be happening if he wasn't running for president.
Well, I think you're spot on, but I don't give as much power to that as people think.
He is successful.
He's sharp.
He's brilliant.
Just based upon the law and truth, he'll win every case that they throw at him.
To me, the real distraction, if you remember the picture.
I'm not so sure he will win because I don't believe he's in venues that would lend itself for fair trials.
He's in three of the most difficult districts in the entire country.
If you include the Washington, D.C. Circuit Court, if you include Fulton County, Georgia, and you include New York City, this is not friendly Republican conservative territory.
But I think he'll win on appeal because truth is truth.
Okay, let's say he wins on appeal.
All right, so today is April 4th, 2023.
How long do you think these cases are going to take to be resolved?
You get my point?
When he is now the 20 when he wins the presidency in 24.
And I think their chess move on us.
Their chess move, believe it or not, just like in the movie Pixar Up when the squirrel, when they distract you.
Look at the squirrel over there.
Their distraction is they want to make people feel that he's too drama-driven and they want them to go to DeSantis.
That may be part of it.
I don't know if it's DeSantis they want to go to because they're slamming him pretty hard too.
However, and they'll slam any Republican nominee, whoever it ultimately ends up being.
But I will tell you, I think it's deeper than that.
It's not just that they want the perception.
They want the conviction.
They want an orange jumpsuit.
I promise you, I'm not wrong on this.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean, our number, you want to be a part of the program.
We're going to just take calls.
Final hour of the program here today.
Let's get to our busy phones.
Lana is in California.
Lana, hi.
How are you?
Glad you called.
I'm good, Sean.
I watch your TV show every night.
And I just wanted to tell you, yes, there is a dual justice system.
It breaks my heart.
It's a very sad day.
And I hope Trump is able to go forward and these charges will be dropped and all the other cases.
But I also have my doubts.
I have a ton of doubt.
I think the deck is stacked against them.
I think the venues are horrific.
And venues really matter.
And you would think that they shouldn't matter.
I'm sure that I've talked to Joe Takapina enough, as you know, to know that he's going to go for a change of venue.
Even if it was Long Island or Staten Island or upstate New York, that would be fine.
But in New York City, I think it's very difficult for somebody with the last name Trump to get a fair trial, end of sentence.
I agree with you.
And this, Brad, I think he should be prosecuted.
And also, I would like Biden to be indicted, the whole criminal family to be indicted.
I meant fair trial.
But listen, it's amazing they've had Hunter's laptop since December of 2019.
It's even more spectacularly breathtaking that even though the FBI had it, they still had their agents out there meeting with big tech in the weeks and weeks leading up to 2020, the election, the presidential election, and they're telling big tech companies you might be the subject of a misinformation campaign.
That misinformation campaign may be about Joe Biden and it may be about Hunter Biden.
That bothers me because, and we learned that from the former head of site integrity for Twitter, a guy by the name of Yoel Roth, testifying in a case with Senator, then Attorney General Eric Schmidt in Missouri.
So, you know, that tells you everything you need to know.
They could have corroborated that laptop probably in 48 hours using their forensic experts to do so.
I agree.
But it's about time the Republicans get tough.
Well, you know something?
I have some questions.
How much money?
Well, first of all, we know already that Joe lied about ever talking to Hunter about his foreign business dealings.
By the way, we knew that when he demanded the firing of a prosecutor in Ukraine or else, you know, leveraging a billion tax dollars to get the guy fired because he knew his son was being paid by the company that that prosecutor was investigating and he knew his son was under investigation.
So if you want to quit and a pro and a quo with Joe, you have it right there.
But yet on an innocent phone call with Zelensky, basically saying that the quid pro quo that they claim that they had a whole impeachment on was about President Trump insisting that Zelensky not be like his predecessors and misuse American taxpayer dollars and squander it and eliminate the corruption.
That's what the president was doing.
And to me, that's his job, to be responsible for our tax dollars.
But yet, nobody in the media wanted to talk about what we told you on this program, which is 100% true because Joe Biden said it in his own voice.
And Hunter went on Good Morning America and made a fool of himself as a 50-year-old adult saying he had no experience in energy, oil, gas, coal, or Ukraine.
Tell me how that system of justice is fair.
It's not.
And that's what I'm saying.
We need to get these people.
We can't just stand by and let them destroy our country.
And that's what's happening.
Yeah, well, that's exactly.
Justice is dying in America right before your very eyes.
And never thought I'd ever have to say that.
Never did.
All right, let's get back to our phones.
Mike in Alabama.
What's up, Mike?
How are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Thank you, Sean.
You know, I'm not surprised by the Democrats.
I mean, they have no shame.
Look at what they've done in the past with Barack Obama suing the Little Sisters of the Poor.
You know, the Little Sisters of the Poor, if you don't know, is an international congregation.
We discussed that issue at length.
I know exactly who you're talking about.
Yeah, I mean, their mission is to take care of the elderly, the poor, and the infirmed.
And they take a vow of poverty, but, you know, it pisses me off as a United States citizen that, hey, I didn't vote for Barack Obama, but I'm a citizen of the United States.
And we sued the Little Sisters of the Poor, not once, not twice, but three times.
And, you know, it's just, there is no shame.
And, you know, Barack Obama is the first biracial president, but he needs to be the only president to suit the Little Sisters of the Poor.
That needs to be his legacy.
I mean, you know, all the good that they do, they have to pay millions and millions of dollars defending themselves.
You know, it's no wonder that, like I said, the Democrats are just throwing crap up against the wall and seeing what sticks.
And by the way, they're in venues that are very favorable to them.
Very favorable.
And I don't disagree with you.
You know, this is America without equal justice or equal application of our laws.
This is a post-constitutional America.
Levin said it a long time ago, and he's never been more right in his life.
Sad, but true.
Mike, thank you, buddy.
Appreciate the call.
Doug in Florida, what's up, Doug?
How's the free state of Florida today?
Hi, Sean.
We're in Matt Gates territory down here, and it's a pleasure to talk to you, sir.
So you're in the panhandle.
What's going on in the panhandle?
By the way, have you ever been to the floor of Bama?
I have.
I would like to say that I'm flying my flag upside down today, and I would encourage all patriots everywhere to do the same.
And as long as this political persecution continues, I think we need to create some solidarity.
And that's one thing we can do that would be noticed is to fly your flag upside down.
It's not against the law.
It's not a disgrace to our flag.
It would be a signal of unity and solidarity.
And I think that right now with everything that they're doing, we're heading toward anarchy and tyranny, selective punishment.
They're ignoring the rule of law.
And we're being intimidated, Sean.
We're being intimidated into silence and submission and subversion.
We're not being intimidated into silence or else I wouldn't be on the air.
I'm not intimidated.
You're calling the show.
You're not intimidated.
The only thing I urge people is: you know, Democrats would like nothing more than to see a few people out there being violent and saying, see, those are the MAGA Republicans.
So I urge people, I've said it now two days in a row, be peaceful.
Don't let this play out.
It's not going to be pretty.
However, we need to be very, very sober and understand what we're dealing with.
And America is going to figure out very quickly that there's a huge backlash to this.
Polls are already indicating this.
But the unsealing of this indictment today, this should be a sobering moment for everybody.
But it goes deeper.
I mentioned my 40,000 feet above the turbulence view that I see here.
This is a lot bigger than what we're watching unfold in New York today.
It includes also a civil case from 27 years ago that the media will go crazy over.
It'll include a case in Georgia where I have little doubt in my mind, in spite of a special grand jury that had been convened and a jury four person.
I would have really loved if I was able to like have 60 seconds with Donald Trump because it would be my job to swear him in.
I was like, you got to be kidding me.
And announcing that they recommended a lot of indictments in that case.
When asked if it was specifically about Trump, well, that should be obvious.
So, you know, I don't have faith that this ends here, that this is the case that the only case he's going to have to face.
I have no idea where the special counsel is going, but I know he's moving aggressively.
He got the crime fraud exception to break attorney-client privilege.
That's a big, big legal deal to me.
And on top of that, the courts have repeatedly said no to executive privilege.
That is a big deal to me.
And I wish the Supreme Court would weigh in on a lot of these issues because, frankly, I just have disagreements with them.
But these are the times we're living in.
It is much bigger than New York.
Everybody hear me here.
This is not just about Alvin Bragg in New York.
This is the beginning of what is a tsunami of never-ending attacks and legal challenges.
They want Trump to drown in the legal process.
And in the hopes of him drowning, they'll throw anything and everything at him.
Well, that would be an abuse of the legal system.
And then you think of the dual system of justice.
We have spent so much time discussing this.
Equal justice under the law doesn't exist.
Equal application of our laws.
It does not exist.
I've been warning when we remember when Mueller was all unfolding.
Remember every single night, the Russia hoax, Russia hoax, Russia hoax.
It was me, John Solomon, Sarah Carter, Greg Jarrett, and a whole ensemble cast, Catherine Heritage, an ensemble cast of people.
And we got it all right.
And it was confirmed by the Horowitz report.
And it was confirmed in a multitude of other ways with information that kept coming out.
Oh, Hannity was right.
Hannity was right.
Hannity Show was right.
Greg Jarrett was right.
All these other people were right.
So it's frustrating here.
You know, how did Hillary get a pass?
How did the Clintons get a pass?
How come the Bidens always get a pass?
How does Hunter get a pass?
This is a lot bigger than I think most people are understanding here.
And I'm looking at the big picture here.
Let's say hi to Don in Iowa.
Don, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Hi, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
Thank you for 30 plus years of helping educate Americans.
Thank you for letting me do it.
And I've got a lot more work to do, obviously.
But you have set a mouthful.
I'm from Boston originally, by the way.
I got my whole liberal family came from Boston.
And I'll tell you, with your help, I have converted over 40 people into maybe not conservatives, but absolutely not liberals, which is a good thing, I promise.
What we've got going here with this travesty going on in New York City right now with Alvin Bragg, this is absolutely election interference at its finest, and it smacks of Obama, which he likes to do that.
He likes to eliminate his opposition before they ever get to the election.
He's done that in all his senatorial bids and everything else he's run for up in Chicago.
And, you know, to use the justice system like that is criminal.
It's a slap in the face to the Constitution.
It's a slap in the face to all Americans across this country.
And I just, I'm almost too angry to talk about it, if you understand what I'm saying.
I completely understand.
You and a lot of people in this country are angry right now.
And by the way, justifiably so in my view.
I wish I had more time.
Unfortunately, I don't, but we have a great Hannity tonight right after the president speaks.
We might even be carrying some of that depending on the time of it.
The president's attorney, Joe Takapina, the great one Mark Levin.
Eric Trump will be on tonight.
Jonathan Turley tonight.
We'll check in with Sarah Carter outside of, I think, Mar-a-Lago tonight.
And so many more people.
Nine Eastern, Saiya DVR, the best coverage of what happened today that'll be happening tonight.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Okay, the president arraigned 34 felony charges.
We'll check in with the president's attorney, Joe Takapina, the great one Mark Levin, Jonathan Turley, Bill Hammer, Eric Trump, Greg Jarrett.
I mean, we are loaded up here tonight.
Lindsey Graham, Kellyanne Conway, so much more.
The best, we'll be on right after the president gives his speech at Mar-a-Lago.
