At Leonard Skinner's Simple Man, that can only mean one thing on this radio show, and that is all things self-proclaimed Simple Man, Bill O'Reilly.
All things Bill O'Reilly at BillOReilly.com.
Mr. O'Reilly, sir, how are you this Wednesday?
You know, it's getting to be nicer, so I'm a little buoyant.
Word of the day.
Word of the day, okay.
All right, we have a lot of serious things to talk about.
Bill, we've been doing this a long time.
I've never been this worried or concerned about our country and the state of the world in general.
I don't like Putin and President Xi together.
I don't like a new axis of evil being formed, and that would be China, Russia, Iran, and now the Saudis, because of China, brokered a deal with the Iranians.
All right, that's on that front.
Now we have the Fed hiking interest rates yet again because inflation is spiraling out of control.
And it seems the only thing that Democrats care about is just getting Trump any way they can.
Any objective lawyer sees this as the weakest case imaginable, but it looks like they're going to pursue it.
And I just want to get your simple man take on what you think is going on and how this is going to end.
Okay.
It's a fiasco.
That's number one.
And Trump was pretty smart when he announced last week that he was going to be arrested on Tuesday because then he created a firestorm of politics.
And so that helped him in the sense that MAGA people and others rallied right away and there was a lot of emotion in the air.
But if you look at the actual case, and you and I both live in New York, so we know this guy, Alvin Bragg, who is the DA.
This is purely political.
It's been reported on your television show last night, and I reported it as well.
There's no doubt it is a political prosecution.
So that's number one.
Everybody, and there's no two sides to that story.
It's not like, no, it isn't.
The guy would never have brought this against anyone else, particularly a Democrat.
I mean, Bragg never in a million years would have brought the case because it's never going to get to trial, ever.
So what the Trump lawyers are going to do, if he is arrested, and today, of course.
By the way, I'm not as confident as you.
I mean, because we do have judicial activists based on the law, what you said is correct.
It should be thrown out.
Well, I'll tell you why it's never going to get in.
But number one, today, Bragg doesn't even call the grand jury.
No, they called the grand jury and they canceled it last minute.
Okay, but they didn't come in.
And so that's very unusual.
That shows you this turbulence.
100%.
That's my analysis.
Perfect.
Turbulence in Bragg's office.
There's just turbulence.
Because he knows that if he does arrest a former president of the United States, that the indictment is going to have to show on what.
And everybody already knows that this is a misdemeanor in New York State, that he somehow has contrived into a felony.
And at the same time, he busts down 50% of criminal felony charges to misdemeanors.
52%, but let's not be precise, shall we?
I know.
And by the way, he loses.
Do you know he lost?
Of all the felony trials he's brought into court, he's lost 49% of them.
Do you know how bad that is?
And he doesn't even try to win.
So Trump's arrested, and then the indictment comes out.
And immediately, Trump lawyers are going to appeal, okay, and they're going to go to a higher state court, New York State Court.
And they're going to say, this is ridiculous.
Statute of limitations have run out on it.
He can't do it.
It's illegal.
That'll take months.
All right.
And then it'll wend its way through the appellate division, you know, on and on and on.
If in the end, New York State sides with Bragg, then it goes to the Supreme Court.
That's where it goes.
But the Supreme Court takes only a minuscule percentage of cases that are brought before them.
You're saying you're confident that they would pick this one?
Of course, they have to, because this is a president of the United States.
They have to take it.
I don't know.
I could see them punting Bill, not wanting to get involved.
We saw that after the election in 2020.
Many courts punted.
Yeah, well, there are five justices on the Supreme Court who I can't imagine would not hear this case because it sets precedent, Hennedy, for everything else to follow in this country.
And that's what the Supreme Court does.
It settles disputes.
So anyway, by the time this, you know, you and I will be in some kind of 55-plus driving around on a golf court.
It's going to take so long.
But in the meantime, and this is really the central point of the story, Americans become more divided, more hateful toward each other.
The political climate is poisonous now.
It gets worse.
And our enemies that you just cited, she and Putin in particular, they seize upon the weakness and chaos inside the United States to try to advance whatever agenda they have, which is a dangerous agenda.
Here's my bigger worry as it relates to our system of justice based on a Constitution.
Every law is written because of that Constitution.
It represents the foundation of law.
Here's my concern.
America, in my view, you can disagree if you like.
I see that we now have a dual justice system.
We don't have equal justice under the law.
We don't have equal application of our laws.
Now, for example, if Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly do the exact same thing, you would think that we would be treated the exact same way.
But that's not happening.
We have a system of justice that lets Hillary Clinton go free, deleting 33,000 emails with bleach pit, then busting up devices with hammers, then FBI agents using an unverify, a bull document that Hillary produced known as the dossier.
They get four Pfizer warrants on it, and nobody is held accountable, Bill.
And that allowed them to backdoor spy on then-candidate Trump, later President Trump.
Nobody's held accountable.
Then you have the FBI putting their, you know, basically the cinder blocks on the scales of a presidential election by meeting weekly with big tech companies and telling big tech companies, you know, you're probably going to be a victim of misinformation, and it may be about Hunter Biden.
That testimony took place in the Missouri case.
So what bothers me is we can't live in a country and be successful if we don't have equal justice and application of our laws.
Do you disagree with any part of that?
Well, I think it's worse than that.
I think that the American criminal justice and civil justice, both, systems have collapsed.
So when you have a guy like George Soros, who's pumping literally hundreds of millions of dollars into elections for districts' attorneys and wants to elect people like Alvin Bragg who will not enforce the law, you have a collapse of the criminal justice system.
Remember, the Constitution gives the primary power to enforce the law to the states, not to the Justice Department.
Justice Department is an oversight, and there are federal crimes that cross state lines.
But primarily, local jurisdictions, state jurisdictions have the power.
And now you have one man, George Soros, armed with hundreds of millions of dollars who has corrupted the entire process.
And you can run him down.
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Oregon, Chicago, St. Louis, Baltimore, New York City, on and on and on and on.
What do they all have in common?
They have Soros-funded district attorneys who will not enforce the law.
But they're going to make up a law ostensibly.
Now, by the way, putting aside that the statute of limitations have passed on both aspects of the law in which they were told that they are looking to prosecute, indict, and then arraign Donald Trump on.
Jonathan Turley did a great analysis on it.
I'm sure you read it.
What's holding it up, by the way, Hannity?
The felony charge that Bragg is trying to bring has now a statute of limitations problem.
It's a five-year statute of limitations on that.
The New York law that he's referring to is a two-year statute of limitations.
Very fast.
And I go back to my original thing.
You'll never see the light of day.
But just one quick aside.
Americans expect what you just said, equal justice under the law.
Well, not only in criminal, but now in civil court, you're not going to get that.
All right, quick break more with Simple Man Bill O'Reilly, allthingsO'Reilly, BillO'Reilly.com.

All right, we continue now.
Bill O'Reilly's with us, allthings O'Reilly at BillO'Reilly.com.
Bill O'Reilly, I famously said in 2006 or 7, somewhere around there, and I've said it many times since.
You've heard me say it, that journalism in America is dead.
Everybody that you, if you watch fake news, CNN, or MSTNC or any of these channels, everybody you're watching, they're parts of the media.
They're members of the press.
But, you know, people ask me, are you a journalist?
I say, no, I'm a talk show host.
Now, I can produce thousands and thousands of hours on radio and TV of me doing straight news, no opinion at all, the news of the day, from Hurricane Katrina to war, you name it, we cover it straight news.
We've done investigative reporting.
You, Bill O'Reilly, now, part of your job is journalism.
Part of your job is investigative journalism.
Part of your job is you give opinion.
Part of your job is you try to be funny.
I'm a little funnier than you.
We're like an entire newspaper.
We do everything you're going to see in a newspaper we do as talk show hosts.
They claim that they're journalists, Bill.
They're not.
Well, that's true.
And journalism has fallen apart in America, which is a real detriment to the American people who need honest information in order to make decisions that are important to them and their family.
And now they're very hard to get honest information.
That's why you have balkanized television news viewing.
It's all over the place.
You know, guys like you and me, we keep a journal, a chronicle of people who have been dishonest.
And I don't know, my journal is about 80, 85% of the corporate media.
I mean, I can't.
I would say it's higher.
I can't tell you one corporate media individual that I know I can rely upon, like Mike Wallace, for example, in the past, for an honest take.
But, Bill, the difference between us and them, and you let the folks, I'll use your term, you let the folks know you're giving opinion.
People know I am a registered conservative.
I'm not a Republican.
I'm a conservative.
I tell people all the time, usually more aligned with the Republican Party because their ideology, their philosophy, their governing beliefs are closer to mine than the Democratic Party.
We're honest about it.
They're dishonest about it, Bill.
Of course.
Because they do what they're told to do.
So what do you expect them to do, Hannity?
You expect Jake Tapper to come out and say, hey, you know, CNN was ruined by Jeff Zucker, and I did pretty much what Jeff told me to do.
And I hated Trump every hour on the hour because that's what Jeff Zucker wanted.
And he was my boss.
And I get paid a lot of money.
So I did it.
You expect them to say that, Hannity, really?
I love the way you did it.
You expect that, Hannity.
By the way, this is not your TV show or radio show.
You know, you're on my show, and you don't get to grill me.
No, I don't expect that to happen.
And by the way, I'm going to give you a warning right now because I know you have a book coming out pretty soon.
And when your next book comes out, I'm just warning you now that when you do this show, this will not be a cupcake interview.
You know what the next book is about?
Demonic possessions.
That, so you should have a good time killing the witches.
Oh, my gosh.
Is that really the title?
Killing the witch is the horror of Salem, Massachusetts, but it's a lot more than that.
But it's about demonic possession of which you are very familiar.
All right, I have a last question, and this comes from a listener, because, you know, you can, oh, I know you do your karate, Hannity, and your kung fu, Hannity.
And I'm like, okay, I've explained to you numerous times my 11 years as a student of the martial arts.
I'm not going to go into detail.
They want to know and want an answer to this question.
Will you, Bill O'Reilly, be willing to come over to the Hannity Dojo with my sensei and train for a day with the promise that we won't have you doing anything that you don't want to do.
I don't want to sprain anything, Hannity, you know?
Wait, wait, wait a minute.
Are you saying you don't work out at all?
No, I work out plenty, but this is martial arts.
This is kung fu.
I saw you take that gun away from the guy on videotape.
That was pretty impressive.
I have to give you props.
I train every day, Bill, an hour and a half a day.
And you know what?
I've gotten pretty strong.
And, you know, we will meet you where you're at.
Anyway, the invitation's open.
We appreciate you being with us.

All right, 25 now till the top of the hour, 800-941 Sean, our number.
Let's get to our busy phone.
So many of you have been very, very, very patient here.
Amy in Florida.
Amy, hi, how are you?
Glad you called.
Oh, thank you so much.
It's such an honor to be on your show.
Let me ask you a question.
I want to give you a gift.
Can I give you a gift?
Are you interested at all in firearms?
Well, how do you mean?
In other words, are you interested in shooting, self-defense?
Yeah.
You know, if you want to become a marksman, I always say about people with the Second Amendment that you have a responsibility to be competent and confident in your shooting ability.
And we've got this great sponsor, Mantis X, and it's a no-ammo, all-electronic way to practice and improve shooting accuracy so you can be a responsible gun owner.
And it's like having your own range instructor there.
And it's used by all the best shooters in the world, by the Marine Corps, the Army, Special Forces, military, great technology, affordable price.
If you'd like a free one, I will give it to you.
Oh, my gosh.
I'll take that as a yes.
Anyway, you're going to love MantisX.
MantisX.com.
That's M-A-N-T-I-S-X.com.
Anyway, what's on your mind today?
Well, thank you for that.
And also thank you for all that you do in terms of educating everyone on climate change.
So I wanted to follow up a little bit about this Bragg situation with Trump.
I will say I'm not a qualified person to judge the credibility of what's going on.
But from what I understand by the facts, it just seems it's a merrelit case.
And I just don't understand why the attorneys that Trump hires, because obviously he has a lot of means to hire the best, don't send a letter to this attorney and just basically say, you know, this case is not an act, it does not have merit and merit.
So, you know, if you're going to pursue this case, then you will pursue disbarment because everybody, whether it's human being, or an attorney, we must uphold the law.
Let me go back because you're raising points here that I think are relevant.
Let me go back and play Alvin Bragg as a candidate and what he's promising to do was on a radio station, Hot 97 in New York.
Listen.
A lot of people are wondering, whoever has this job, are they going to convict Donald Trump?
Look, that is the number one issue.
I'm the candidate in the race who has the experience with Donald Trump.
I was the chief deputy in the Attorney General's office.
We sued the Trump administration over 100 times.
It'd be hard to argue with the fact that that'd be the most important, most high-profile case.
And I've seen him up front and seen the lawlessness that he can do.
And you believe it should happen.
I believe we have to hold him accountable.
That was his campaign promise.
Letitia James, who is the AG in New York, made similar comments.
You know, justice needs to be blind.
Running a campaign to specifically attack one man, one corporation, one family like this is it just destroys any concept of equal justice, equal application of our laws and our fundamental constitutional rights.
We're now criminalizing political differences.
You know, we don't like somebody.
We're going to go after them.
You know, it's like conservatives being targeted by the IRS, but not liberals.
And there are, what, 43,000 government employees that don't even file income tax returns.
Can you imagine if I didn't file my income tax return and pay every penny that I owe, what would happen to me?
You don't think they'd like to, you know, morning raid, you know, 30 guys, all SWAT gear, CNN fake news cameras like they did to Roger Stone.
You know, Hannity didn't pay $3 for something.
I mean, it's, I mean, you wouldn't believe what I have to do to get my taxes done every year.
I can't do my own taxes.
I have one accounting firm.
Then my lawyer's accounting firm double checks the work of the first accounting firm.
Then my lawyers go over it to make sure that, you know, everything is legal, above board, pay my taxes.
And whenever there's a question and they bring it to my attention, I always use the same words, pay it, pay it, pay it, pay it, pay it, pay it.
In other words, I don't want any risks because I don't want any trouble in my life.
And I happen to believe in the rule of law.
I don't like the law, but it's not mine to change.
Well, that's why it seems to me that people who are qualified when laws are being abused are not properly enforced, whatever, and you can apply it to many levels right now.
That needs to be stopped if you have the qualification to stop it.
Well, this is why elections matter.
You know, if Republicans didn't win the House, and that's why I was so anxious for them to come together, get a speaker, get an agenda, follow through on their promises, the power of subpoena.
We're now seeing how important that is.
The power of the purse, we're going to learn very quickly how important that is as well.
Elections matter.
And that's why I keep urging Republicans all around the country, conservatives all around the country, get rid of this reluctance and resistance you have to early voting and voting by mail.
You've got to embrace it.
You've got to embrace in every state except for Alabama, there's some form of ballot harvesting allowed by law.
The Democrats are masters at this.
You've got to get in that game and do it as well, hopefully better than they do it.
Anyway, good call, Amy.
We appreciate it.
All right, let's say hi to Joel in Ohio.
What's up, Joel?
How are you?
By the way, you're in Ohio.
Did President Biden ever get to East Palestine yet or no?
Not a chance.
I mean, I'm not even sure that he even knows where Ohio is.
I don't think he's going to win Ohio for reelection.
There's a lot of states that are going to be in play.
I just hope the American people wake up.
There's not a single thing I can point to that is successful right now.
Our foreign policy is a disaster.
China aligning with Putin, aligning with the mullahs in Iran, aligning now with Saudi Arabia, brokering deals with Saudi Arabia and Iran.
We've got a new axis of evil, and I'm not looking for a fight.
I am only telling you that that puts the world, these are very evil people.
And God knows what they're going to be capable of.
I really fear on the foreign policy front, and I fear economically, our families in this country, every town, every city, they are getting destroyed financially because of Biden inflation.
Another 0.25 increase in interest rates today.
Good luck.
You know, we're now at an 11-year low in terms of home prices and sales.
It's unbelievable.
So, the reason I'm calling, Sean, it kind of follows along with what you and Bill O'Reilly and that previous caller have said.
We have some serious problems going on.
I started watching Fox at 9-11, was when I first started.
Jim Jordan is my congressman.
And this goes to something that one of your callers from yesterday afternoon, it was late in your show, and it was about Russia and that situation.
And you were talking about fighting back, strength, punching them in the face.
And I started thinking about that.
And I went to something that the Navy Secretary had spoken about here recently, Carlos Victoro, and he was speaking about climate change was the top priority of the United States Navy.
I read the very same story.
I've seen the same reports.
We did a deep dive, and yes, billions of dollars all across every government agency, including our military, is gone woke.
And yes, climate change funding is involved in every single department under Joe Biden.
And my question is this, Sean.
Do we get, as a nation, as a country, do we get a hole dug by this administration so deep that we can't climb out of in a year and a half?
The answer is you can always climb out of it with good policies.
You know, Reagan inherited an absolute Adam Schiff show when he became president.
And, you know, he had to make tough decisions on the economy that threw the country into a tough recession.
By the time he left office, now remember his reelection, he won 49 states and nearly won 50.
And the reason is, is he created 21.5 million new jobs, the longest period of peacetime economic growth in our history up to that point, and did an amazing job as president.
And he rebuilt our military.
He talked about it as a candidate, the gap of vulnerability that was created with adversaries back then.
We were in the middle of the Cold War, and he built up a 600-ship Navy, and we were ready to roll.
And this country was safer and more secure because of strength and his philosophy of peace through strength.
And look, he didn't need to get into foreign conflicts.
But when Muamar Gaddafi took that plane out of this guy, when Muamar Gaddafi was messing with our military, he fired a missile right into his house and nearly killed his son, but did kill one of his daughters.
You know what?
That's a pretty loud message.
And frankly, I think that America not responding to China and not responding to the drone strike with Putin, it's a terrible mistake.
It is only showing weakness.
It will only embolden further aggression.
And I don't think it's going to be long now until China takes Taiwan.
I really believe that.
And I don't think Joe Biden will lift a finger.
I really don't.
And that scares me.
Look, the world should be concerned about.
I am angry with Western Europe.
Western Europe, they have a war in their backyard and they're expecting us to pay for it.
No, they've got to step up and pay for it.
You know, should we help on some level because it's evil in our time and we don't want the cancer to spread?
I'm fine with that.
But I have two conditions, that every single European country step up financially and pay their fair share.
And number two, if you're going to fight the war, you must fight it to win it or don't get involved.
That's it.
I don't think my conditions are onerous in any way.
I think it's basic, simple common sense.
Then after they do their part, yes, we will help them financially.
We're not putting boots on the ground.
We're not going to get involved in quagmires again and again and again and say, oh, never mind, because that's what happens.
They start wars.
They politicize wars.
Then they want to get the hell out of the war.
And, you know, we leave after spending hundreds of billions of dollars.
It can't happen anymore.
If you're going to offer help, you can't tell Zelensky, oh, no, no, you can't fly MIG jets that Poland is offering you.
Then stop wasting our time because you have no intention to win.
And if you're not going to win, then get out of it.
It's really that simple.
Peace through strength.
We don't have a president that has any strength.
Joel, we love our friends in Ohio.
God bless you, my friend.
Wade is in Pennsylvania.
We love our friends in Pennsylvania as well.
What's up, Wade?
Hey, Sean, thanks for taking my call.
My main point is that I don't believe that Bragg was necessarily interested in the conviction.
I think more than anything else, he wants the perp walk.
He wants the pictures and the video of Trump in handcuffs and mug shots so that they can use that for propaganda down the road during the election or even if Trump is re-elected.
Yeah, they definitely want that.
That's a big part of it for them.
But let me tell you something, losing, they'll have egg all over their face, and they will, trust me, they have their own egos involved in this too.
Their problem is, look, I'm only speculating about today.
We have this bombshell letter that I talked about at the beginning of the program that came out.
This is the FEC and a letter to Mr. Jordan on behalf of Michael Cohn.
This is the most exculpatory letter you could ever have in a case like this.
The reason that the grand jury decided to cancel, which is highly unusual, their 2 p.m.
They were supposed to convene at 2 p.m. today.
Why they canceled it, I'm speculating, but my guess is that office is in massive turmoil right now because they know that they're going to look really, really bad when they lose.
And that's why they're trying so hard, for example, to even question whether or not Joe Takapina could be on the case.
They want him out.
Joe Takapina is an incredible trial lawyer who has massive success in New York City, dealing with very controversial and even people that are not liked in New York City, and he gets them off because he's good at what he does.
And anyway, he'll be on TV tonight.
We'll talk about this letter because it's a bombshell.
I think if they do lose, they're going to have another issue.
Once they actually get it as far as pass the agreement, then I think that Bragg is going to be guilty of a malicious prosecution.
And that's a crime in New York.
Well, this is malicious prosecution.
And you know what?
You know, the biggest evidence of this is he ran a campaign to get Trump, the Trump organization, targeting one man, one family, one corporation, as did, frankly, the AG of New York, Letitia James.
And that is not how justice should work in this country.
If any conservative ran on a platform to get one person, it would be beyond inappropriate also.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean.
Thank you, Wade.
Appreciate the call, buddy.
Thank you for the call.
All right, so Linda talked to our friends at Home Title Lock.
In six minutes, they were able to find her home title, her signature online.
By the way, it was pretty easy to find mine.
And showing her that they could steal her home in less than six minutes, which is why you need Home Title Lock.
But anyway, tell the story.
So it's completely insane.
It's one of those things I think a lot of people get confused.
They think if they have identity theft protection, they have homeowners insurance, any of these things, none of that works.
These guys got it.
It does not protect your home's title.
Correct.
So that your home has something called an APN, which is basically the social security number for your particular house.
And they were able to go online, get that APN, pull my signature from when I had my deed, when I signed it in the closing.
They had everything.
They lifted it.
I sold it to some guy I never met in Chicago for $10.
And then they're pulling out loans on the equity that I have in the house.
I'm like, are you kidding me?
Then you got to pay for legal fees so that you can get your own house back that you never sold in the first place.
And guess what?
Your signature matches.
It's the scariest thing in the world.
Now we have criminals worldwide targeting American homeowners to steal your home.
That's why you need Home Title Lock.
All right, first things first.
You sign up.
You're going to get a free title scan.
They will verify that your home is safely in your name.
Now, mention my name, Sean.
A lot of people don't know how to spell it.
S-E-A-N.
You'll get 30 days of free protection when you go to home titlelock.com.
That's home, titlelock.com.
You don't want this nightmare coming into your life.
Bill gives you insanity.
He gives you common sense solutions.
This country needs a course correction immediately.
Find your station at Hannity.com and listen three hours a day.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
We are loaded up tonight on Hannity on the Fox News channel.
Now, remember, the FEC and the Justice Department passed on this entire legal issue involving Stormy Daniels, as did the former DA in Manhattan prior to Alvin Bragg.
Then Alvin Bragg passed on it, and now they brought it back up again, and it seems to be deteriorating right before our eyes.
Anyway, the president's attorney on this New York case, Joe Takapina, and Brad Smith with the FEC will join us and we'll get his take on why they passed on any prosecution with this.
Congressman Jim Jordan, Kevin O'Leary, yep, interest rates back up again.
Nine Eastern, please set your DVR.
Never miss an episode.
We'll see you tonight at nine.
Back here tomorrow.
Thank you for making the show possible.
