Sean takes a trip down memory lane to remind the audience that the war in Ukraine is, perhaps, another example where the US is fighting with both hands behind its back. Is Europe doing enough to help? Can you see an end in site? It's time to learn from history and either commit to winning or leave the Ukraine.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

When I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco Benghazi.

If you want to be a part of the program, I know a lot of news we got to catch up on here.
Um, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine, and but I can't.
The mayor of East Palestine in Ohio is apoplectic about it.
And can you really blame them?
Um, Mayor Pete, pothole Pete, has done next to nothing.
The administration has said no to emergency support and a disaster area for East Palestine.
You know, you had this chemical burn, you have dead fish in the water, you have dead animals and chickens and foxes, you know, all over the East Palestine area.
Nobody knows whether it's safe to go back to their house.
Nobody believes that the air quality is safe.
Nobody believes that the water quality is safe to drink.
And nobody in the administration seems to want to lift a finger to help the people out in East Palestine.
You know, Pete Buddha judges out there saying, oh, they've um they've gotten plenty of attention, but there are over a thousand cases per year of trains derailing.
Um trains derailing, yes, but you know, controlled chemical burns.
I don't think so.
I don't think that's what most people see every day.
And when I was mayor in my hometown, okay, South Bend, Indiana, big job that he had.
Um, you know, he said we dealt with a lot of disasters.
And I could have spoken out sooner on East Palestine, but I didn't want to get in the way of other government agencies.
I mean, it's just such a farce.
The mayor of East Palestine said that Biden's visit to Ukraine was the biggest slap in the face as his town continues to deal with the chemical fallout of the train derailment.
Uh anyway, during an appearance on Fox, the mayor was asked to give his thoughts on Biden's surprise visit to Kiev yesterday while he was in Poland for an international trip.
Quote, that was the biggest slap in the face uh that tells you right now he doesn't care about us.
So he can send every agency he wants, but I found out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there, uh, and not to us.
Remember, they denied emergency, you know, an emergency declaration for East Palestine, which made no sense whatsoever.
Anyway, Biden made the visit to Kiev, and he's offering another 500 million dollars in in aid to the country of Ukraine.
And and this raises the whole issue of the U.S. involvement in Ukraine.
Now, what bothers me is when this conflict started and Vladimir Putin is invading a sovereign, innocent nation.
And the the way the world should react to this, not the United States, everything always falls on our shoulders.
I don't think the people of the United States, generally speaking, especially when you see the utter evil and brutality of what Vladimir Putin is doing and bombing, you know, civilian targets and schools and hospitals and apartment buildings and entire neighborhoods.
I mean, he's gone about as scorched earth as you could ever expect someone as evil as Vladimir Putin would do.
But the problem becomes we, the people of the United States end up paying the bulk of the freight, and this is Europe's problem.
This is in Europe's backyard.
They are not a NATO ally.
They've not been a NATO ally.
Now, we have had previous agreements where we would agree to protect them along with Great Britain, etc.
Um, not to get too deep into the weeds.
Now, prior to Biden's trip to Ukraine, we have spent a hundred and thirteen billion dollars allocated that much money, appropriated that much money in aid to Ukraine.
That's an awful lot of money.
From all we can add together, and this is on the high side, you have $30 billion from the EU, $5 billion from the UK, $5 billion for Germany, and then that's about it.
You know, $67 billion in military aid, $28.4 billion in economic aid, 14.7 billion humanitarian aid, $2.75 billion classified as other aid.
And aid classified as other includes money for oversight of spending as well as support for Ukraine's nuclear power sector, costs associated with moving the U.S. Embassy personnel and spending on the investigation of oligarchs and war crimes, whatever else they're involved in.
Anyway, so the U.S. has far surpassed the combined aid of the entire European Union.
And the question is why?
Then it gets worse.
From my perspective, it gets worse from here.
Because now a year into this conflict, there's no end in sight, except that we see that Vladimir Putin now continues to escalate his, you know, territorial ambitions as it relates to Ukraine, probably believing, maybe rightly so, that the Europeans are not going to step up in the way that would be necessary for the Ukrainians to actually win the war.
Um, but during his visit to Kyiv yesterday and Biden meeting with Zelensky, he's pledging another 500 million dollars in aid, and you got to ask yourself why.
Because, you know, think but look at look at it this way.
March 5th of 2022 was the first time that Zelensky was calling for fighter planes from nations around the world.
So Zelensky telling lawmakers in Ukraine they need the jets because its Air Force was destroyed on day one of the Russian invasion.
And then two days later, Zelensky was asking Americans to help, and specifically he was asking for fighter jets.
And then March 16th of 2022, Zelensky delivered a very emotional appeal to Congress for more military support, you know, quote, knowing the U.S. opposes a no-fly zone, Zelensky proposed what he called an alternative, and that would be planes to defend European sky.
There were countries in Europe that were willing to give Zelensky and Ukraine fighter jets so they can defend themselves.
And he called on the U.S., called on its allies to deliver more military aid.
And it was Joe Biden who repeatedly told Poland and other countries that were willing to offer 30, 40, 50 jets at a time, fighter jets.
No.
Now, why is that so key for me?
Because if the Russians own the skies over Ukraine, which is what ostensibly they've unilaterally disarmed because Joe Biden is insisting they disarm, how is it possible for Ukraine to actually beat back Putin and the Russians and win the war?
And this is where we now find ourselves is that the United States is giving good money after bad and with no intention, a best case scenario is they fight to a tie.
And this is the problem with conflicts historically that the United States gets involved in.
If the United States is going to commit militarily to any conflict, whether it be a conflict to protect our own sovereignty or the sovereignty of another nation, and you're not going to commit the resources that would be necessary to win, then we really have no business getting involved in the beginning.
Because there's no end in sight here.
Because now we find ourselves in a European conflict, and as a result, the Russians now, they're getting help from the communist Chinese, they're getting help from North Korea, they're getting help from the Ukra uh uh Iranians, and Western Europe is doing little except looking to the United States to basically fund their war in Europe.
Now, do I feel horrible from a humanitarian point of view?
Do I think it's morally repugnant, reprehensible, wrong, evil, all of the above.
But if you see no end in sight because of the handcuffs that Joe Biden is putting on in terms of the Ukrainian aid that's will be available, and he's not giving them the weaponry of war to win the war, then you have to ask yourself, what's the point?
And and what's the point of another 500 million?
And then you ask yourself, well, is the mayor of East Palestine not wrong when he goes out there and says this is the biggest slap in the face, he doesn't care about us.
You know, he can send every agency he wants, but I found out this morning that he in one of the briefings, he's in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there, but not to people in his own country.
And here's what he said.
I can repeat, he said, with the president being in Ukraine today, you know, did that surprise you?
Absolutely.
That was the biggest slap in the face that tells you right now he doesn't care about us.
So agreed.
Uh he can send every agency he wants to, but uh I found that out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in the Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there, not to us, and I'm furious.
Uh I don't blame him for being furious.
I mean, uh I think about it.
I mean, you know, Mayor P. Buttigets with the Secretary of Transportation, Pothole Pete, he couldn't even take the time.
His answer is, well, uh, we have thousands of these accidents regularly, so why should I bother going?
Like, wow, maybe because uh we haven't had one as severe as the one that we're currently having in Eastern you know, Palestine on the Ohio Pennsylvania border, that they didn't have a chemical burn,
that we have an environmental hazard that is you know evolved as a result of this train derailing and of course the control burn of chemicals, and and we don't know what the the final outcome is going to be, and there's nobody that wants to go back to their home.
By the way, Linda, would you want to live in East Palestine?
I wouldn't.
I tell you what, I would love to go there right now and work with those people.
Uh I'm so outraged.
But I mean, would you if you owned a house?
You don't want to live there.
You you can't drink the water, you can't bathe your children, your animals are dying.
You know, your farmland is destroyed, and Biden's over paling around with his buddies.
Uh it's absolutely revolting.
So Biden now is trying to rally allies as this war gets more complicated.
This is a quagmire conflict now of Biden's own doing.
This is now an example.
This is what we saw during the Obama-Biden years.
This is how the caliphate was able to build itself out because nobody stopped them early and with the force necessary to win the conflict.
You know, when Donald Trump became president, he wiped out the ISIS caliphate, and he did it by bombing them to smithereens with the intention of winning each battle and pushing them back and then ultimately destroying them.
So philosophically, if you're going to ask what the Hannity doctrine is, if you're going to commit military monies for a conflict, and you feel you have a moral imperative to do so, then it's got to be done with the proper amount of force to actually win the war.
If you're fighting for a tie, if you're fighting in and creating another quagmire, if you're fighting and creating another 20-year-long protracted conflict of never-ending war in Europe, then at that point, America has got to decide not to involve itself in those types of conflicts ever again.
You know, Putin is blaming the West for starting the war in Ukraine.
No, it was Vladimir Putin that started it.
China's saying certain countries must stop fueling the fire in the Ukrainian conflict, meanwhile, they're helping Vladimir Putin out.
You know, what will Biden do if Beijing keeps sending military aid to Moscow?
The answer is nothing.
You know, as Helenski's pointing out, China is backing Russia in Ukraine.
And that if it gets worse, it'll be World War III.
Okay, so we're supposed to respond to the possibility that Putin may take over Ukraine with hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money.
You know, at what point do you take care of things at home?
And I think if you're not going to fight a war to win, just like we pay for the World Economic Forum.
We pay for the United Nations $7 billion a year.
The WHO, we we actually have a proposal out there that the Biden administration would cede authority to the WHO in case of future pandemics.
And meanwhile, all they were was the propaganda arm of the communist Chinese during all of COVID.
Makes no sense.

Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.

Will we ever get the truth about the Benghazi massacre?
Bad faith, political warfare, and frankly, bullshit.

As we roll along, 800-941-SHAWN.
I mean, Linda, look at what we've been paying a year.
A hundred, I mean, and thirteen billion, now another five hundred million, and Europe has paid a grand total of thirty billion dollars.
And how many cases of water did they send to East Palestine?
Yeah, nothing.
Exactly.
No, but that's such a good point.
And it wasn't until Trump said that he was going to do something that they all got a fire under their booty and they decided to do something.
Yeah, Donald Trump, you know, Biden tries to rally the allies.
Europe does not want to help Ukraine.
If they wanted to help Ukraine, by this point, they would have helped Ukraine.
And they're not doing their job.
They're not doing their part.
What is Zelensky doing with the money?
Where is it?
It's not on the ground.
It's not warming the kids and the women.
It's not stopping the rape and the pilgrimage.
What is going on?
It's enough.
They've wasted all our money.
Because Democrat this is why America has got to have an America first policy.
I'm not against the United States helping.
But this is Europe's problem.
This isn't Poland's backyard.
This is in Europe's backyard.
It's not in our backyard.
And of course I don't want innocent men, women, and children killed.
But if they're not gonna do their part, and at best they're only gonna fight for a long protracted, drawn-out conflict that is gonna be funded by us and a proxy war with China and Russia.
we're wasting our time it was ironic the code pink protesters cornered joe and jill biden at a dc restaurant saturday night How ironic is that?
We'll continue.
Music Parking every day to remember the forgotten man.
This is the Sean Hannity Show.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Thank you for being with us.
Tough economic times, Lawrence Summers, by the way.
I'll get to this in a minute.
Warning that the U.S. economy is headed for a quote unquote crash.
So far, he's been right in his predictions.
I hope he's wrong.
But if I had to bet, I'd bet with him.
So I want you to save money any way you can.
And one way you can save money and not sacrifice service is with my cell phone company, and that's pure talk.
And they are the no contract wireless company.
You don't have to pay for a contract.
You get the exact same 5G network as the big carriers, the same cell towers.
If you look at your phone, you'll have the same coverage bars strength as your own carrier, uh, is one of the big carriers, and you pay about half the price.
Uh, you can get blazing fast data, unlimited talk, unlimited text, 30 bucks a month.
Uh, you get to try it free for the first month in this sense.
If you're not happy, they offer you 100% money back guarantee, no questions asked at all.
Average family saving close to a thousand dollars a year, many saving much more for the exact same service as these these big phone companies.
And anyway, to make the switch it's simple and it's easy.
It's a veteran-owned company.
They have great customer service, unlike any you've ever seen you just dial pound 250, say the keyword save now, do it now you save an additional 50% off your first month.
Pound two fifty keyword save now from Pure Talk, simply smarter wireless.
So kind of ironic left wing activists uh from the group Code Pink, you might remember them during the Bush years, apparently cornered Joe and Jill Biden when they were eating dinner out on Saturday night.
Anyway, it shows the president, his wife sitting in a corner of a restaurant and anyway, this m members of this left wing group, they describe themselves as feminist grassroots organization working to support peace and human rights, shouting about ending the war in Ukraine and lifting the blockade in Cuba.
And you know by the way, you know, Democrats really have no right to get mad at this I noticed that they were eerily silent when Ted Cruz and his wife and his kids and his family were getting heckled and driven out of the backdoor of a restaurant in 2018 or Sarah Huckabee Sanders when it happened to her or the former Homeland Security Secretary when it happened to her at a restaurant.
So you know things came to a head of course in 2022 when far left abortion activists, which is against the law, were allowed to harass Supreme Court justices at their homes, leading to that assassination attempt against Breck Kavanaugh and despite pleas for help,
Biden and his DOJ pointedly refused to enforce federal law which directly prohibits harassing judges in an attempt to influence their decision and they specifically mention at their house.
One of the odder things that come came out of the coverage this weekend of Biden going to uh keep to uh Kiev and Ukraine is the White House confirmed yesterday that they gave Russia advanced notice about Biden's quote surprise visit to Ukraine.
They did it to avoid an accidental military clash between the two nuclear powers this is Vladimir yes yeah Joe Biden is going to uh visit Zelensky.
Don't fire any weapons in this area.
I mean, is that the nature of the relationship?
You know, we've got to get to the bottom of one question.
To what extent is the Biden family, how much business did Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, how much business did they do?
How much money did they make?
How big were these business deals with these countries that are adversaries?
What do they know about the Bidens that may have this family compromised?
Because we know business was done with China at a very high level.
We know business was done with China.
was done with Russia at a very high level level our number one number two geopolitical foe.
We know about the quid pro quo and Joe Biden leveraging a billion taxpayer dollars to get a prosecutor in Ukraine fired that was investigating his son making millions with no experience in oil gas energy when he was getting paid by Barisma holdings.
I mean, at some point we got to get to the bottom of this.
On the other side of this, we've got one top Chinese diplomat is now on his way to offer aid to Russia, according to the New York Post.
And they have a message for Joe Biden to butt out.
Chinese top diplomat made a beeline for Moscow after berating Joe Biden's secretary of state, Tony Blinken, at this weekend's Munich Security Center.
Summit.
So with Blinken now publicly warning Beijing they better not send military aid to Russia for their final push in Ukraine diplomat Wang Yi had a message for Joe Biden to butt out of their business.
Anyway, leading up to his visit and possible meeting with Vladimir Putin, Chinese uh the China's foreign ministry is telling the U.S. to butt out of their relationship with the Kremlin.
Quote, the U.S. is in no position to make demands of China, according to the ministry spokesperson.
China's comprehensive collaborative partnership with Russia is based on non-alignment, non confrontation, non-targeting of third parties, and is a matter within the sovereign sovereignty of two independent countries.
Many went on to blame the U.S. for fanning the flames and stoking confrontations by supplying Ukraine with weapons.
So who's calling for dialogue and peace and who's handing out knives and encouraging confrontation?
I mean, if between this and the balloon incident, it's it's pretty obvious that nobody seems to really care at all.
By the way, the EPA ordered railroad to clean up the damage and pay for it.
Okay.
But it's pretty clear China has no respect for Joe Biden and the United States, or they wouldn't be acting this way.
Now, you gotta ask yourself a question.
How is it the Taliban never killed a single American the last 18 months Donald Trump is president?
How is it that Donald Trump made a deal with the Taliban that there was going to be an exit, but it would be an orderly exit, and that they were not allowed to leave the territory where they were holed up until after the United States had left the country.
Part of that deal would have included the U.S. hanging on to Bagram Air Base.
And that was fine with the Taliban at the time.
Then Joe Biden becomes president.
The Taliban is on the march, and it results in the deaths of thirteen innocent people because, you know, he didn't evacuate everybody, even though the Taliban was taking province after promise, uh province after province.
Vladimir Putin is blaming the West for starting a war in Ukraine as he suspends participation in this key nuclear treaty.
There's no respect here.
And this is what the problem is.
Little Rocketman's back to firing rockets.
Yeah, Putin now pursuing, just like he did in the Obama Biden years his territorial ambitions.
You have China now getting more aggressive than ever.
You have an unholy alliance, a real axis of evil developing between China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
I mean, these are really dangerous times.
Russia, you know, suspended the participation in the new START nuclear treaty with the U.S. China's demanding that the U.S. abandon Taiwan and apologize for shooting down China's spy balloon.
They're demanding we apologize to them.
They're lecturing us to get out of Taiwan and abandon Taiwan.
You have one of Biden appointee under attack over ties to Chinese intelligence.
Now have called upon the FBI director, Chris Ray, to investigate a Biden administration appointee over his alleged connections to the Chinese intelligence organizations.
It's come to our attention that President Biden has appointed an individual with existing Chinese Communist Party ties to an advisory role.
According to GOP representatives Lance Gooden, Lauren Boebert and four others writing to Director Wray, Lawmakers took issue with Dominic NGS name.
Anyway, appointment to the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council, pointing to his past work and claiming that recent and substantial allegations discovered in his past connections with the U.S. Chinese third party entities.
We request the FBI investigate and provide a report to Congress on the extent and knowledge of sensitive information as well as any potential violations of the Espionage Act.
But of course, the FBI has been politicized.
Don't expect any investigation at any point soon.
Great Britain is making an economic contingency plan in case China invades Taiwan.
By the way, that's where 70% of these, you know, precious chips apparently are made worldwide.
That's not good for the world because there's a shortage of these chips, which has now raised the average cost of a new car by what, nearly $15,000 over $15,000.
Anyway, Gordon Chang will join us at the top of the hour.
There are ways Congress must respond to the very real alliance now that exists between China and Russia.
In China, there's worries about a weakened Russia prompting China now to reconsider whether or not they're going to help in the Ukrainian effort.
In some oversight development news, uh one of the most potentially explosive witnesses to the entire Biden classified document scandal, apparently now has agreed to tell her a story to the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee.
that's James Comer's committee.
Uh, you might remember the name Kathy Chung.
Remember she was the one writing Hunter on Hunter's laptop.
Uh, and apparently Hunter served as a go between, between him and his dad, then vice president Joe Biden.
This is back in 2012, but emails on Earth from Hunter's laptop showed that in 2015, Chung shared sensitive and likely classified information with Hunter Biden, such as private cell phone numbers for every member of Barack Obama's cabinet.
We spoke about this before.
She was tapped by Joe Biden to supervise the transfer of vice presidential papers to the UPenn Biden Center, and about a dozen of which were turned out to be classified.
And then to top it off, Joe Biden tried to throw uh Miss Chung under the bus just last week when he told PBS that the reason classified documents had turned up in both the U Penn office and his private home was because, quote, the people that packed up my offices to move them, in other words, probably people like Kathy Chung, uh, they didn't do the kind of job that that should have been done.
Anyway, we'll see what comes out of that hearing.
Jonathan Turley points out the Biden FBI is targeting the New York Post, the Federalist, Newsmax, and other uh and others as part of a $330 million disinformation campaign.
Anyway, he pointed out that last year Biden and his administration cave to the public outcry and disbanded the now infamous disinformation governance board under its disinformation nanny.
Remember Nina Jankowitz?
Remember the videos of her super califragic censorship effort involving an estimated 80 FBI agents secretly targeting citizens and groups for disinformation.
It appears now the administration was also partially funding an index to warn advertisers to avoid what they deem to be dangerous disinformation sites.
And it turns out that all ten of the riskiest sites identified by this global disinformation index are popular with conservatives, libertarians, and independents.
And that global disinformation index is, you know, a particularly insidious part of that effort, funded funded in part by 330 million from the U.S. State Department.
This is what I told you about last week.
It's now far worse than we ever thought.
And the FBI, by the way, stays mum on the classification status of the University of Delaware documents.
They haven't said a word about it yet.
One interesting development, climate alarmist religious cult member, John Kerry, apparently has been forced to sell his private jet.
By the way, that doesn't mean he's he's not flying private.
There's plenty of charter companies around the around the country.
They do have things like Flexjet, Net Jets, and companies like that.
NetJets, of course, I think put together by Burkshear Hathaway and the Oracle of Omaha, whatever his name is.
Anyway, I can confirm the plane previously owned by his wife's family was sold last summer.
Secretary Kerry travels commercially in his role as the special presidential envoy for climate.
The Kerry family owned a G4, Gulfstream 4, which operated through Flying Squirrel LLC, the company owned by Kerry's wife.
He's still probably flying private.
We just have to catch him.
It's only a matter of time.
We finally caught Al Gore, and that took a little bit of time as well.
Here's a scary thought.
I'll get to this later in the program.
The Biden administration is negotiating a deal to give the WHO authority over U.S. pandemic policies.
For the communist Chinese during COVID.
That's who they're thinking about putting the power in.
I know a lot of you have your eyes on 2022, I'm sorry, 2024 in nominations.
I'm just, I'm just watching it right now.
I there's nothing that really is happening to me that indicates um it's time to go out there.
Anyway.
800-941 Shauna's our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, hey, listen, if you believe in the second amendment, you want a great fire firearm, or I'm telling you right now, uh, you're gonna love my friends at Henry Repeating Arms.
They're the they're simply the best.
Anyway, if you're looking for something light, easy to transport, you gotta check out their new U.S. survival rifle.
