Five days now after the first classified documents turned up in this office at the Biden Penn or the Penn Biden Center.
The Biden classified documents scandal is now officially under investigation by Congress, which is why I wanted them to get up and running and on the same page.
No harm, no foul.
Thank God we've got people that I believe are all on the same page.
If they're not, we'll find out quickly, especially with the economy and the debt ceiling battle that will be looming maybe as early as next week.
Uh we'll learn a lot about what people mean in terms of standing firm on their principles, but this will be their opportunity to now say no to reckless spending and being uh great stewards of we the taxpayers' money, which is conservatism one-on-one.
Uh, but anyway, Jim Jordan's first investigation as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee will examine Biden's mishandling of these classified documents and the Justice Department's involvement in the investigation.
He said we are conducting oversight of the Justice Department's actions with respect to former vice president Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents, including apparently unauthorized possession of classified material at a Washington,
D.C. private office and in his garage in Wilmington, uh in a in his del residence there, uh, and of course the other room, whatever room it hasn't been identified, not the Corvette room that's always locked, although we have many videos of it not being locked at all with this beautiful stingray Corvette, which is not the Corvette that anybody should want.
If you want a Corvette, you need the Z06 that you can't get because they don't make them, make enough of them.
And if you're on the list, you might get it ten years from now.
Anyway, I digress.
Uh, but anyway, that's what they're doing.
Jordan questioning the alleged concealment of this information by the DOJ as the White House admitted that the first batch of documents at the Penn Biden Center was discovered six days before the 2022 midterm elections.
But they were not disclosed publicly until January.
I will get to that timeline in a minute.
It's unclear when Democrats first came to learn about the existence of these documents, whether it actively concealed the information from the public on the eve of the 2022 midterms.
Jordan also continued, it's unclear uh what interactions, if any, the department had with President Biden or his representatives about his mishandling of classified material.
The department's actions here appeared to depart from how it acted in similar circumstances.
The lawmakers referenced the FBI's unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home last summer, seizing classified documents.
Now I go back and I remind you the FBI had unfettered access to the room where they ultimately found the documents because they were in that room, uh, invited and had all the access they wanted to that room.
And rather than look through the documents, take anything they thought that they needed to take, which they could have done then, they call back and say, Well, would you mind putting a padlock on the door?
So they put a padlock on the door.
Unbelievable.
And by the way, one notorious national security risk, uh, zero experience Hunter lived at the home where Joe stashed his top secret documents.
So Hunter Biden is living off and on at the Delaware home where the documents are stored from Joe Biden's time as vice president, giving him unrestricted access to America's secrets while hammering out shady business deals with China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and all the other countries that he was doing business with, again, with no experience making millions.
The money, I'm telling you right now, it's not going to be the document issue that Joe Biden.
His big problem is his big lie.
His big lie is not once did I ever speak to my son Hunter or any other family member about their farm business dealings.
He's implicated by his own son in the laptop from hell.
Which, by the way, we knew pretty early on was real.
And uh, you know, because I was talking to the people, the New York Post that actually had it.
And that's why we knew as much as we did as early as we did.
Anyway, so we're watching all this unfold.
Now, there's other things that we got to get into here just to lay the foundation for this whole story, but you got one batch of classified documents found at the Uh the University of Pennsylvania, UPenn Biden Center, and that had a very closely relationship with China.
The money here is everything.
Because at the end of the day, it's gonna be the money.
It's gonna be the money, how much Joe got.
Uh well, how would you feel if you had to give half your income to Pops as Hunter Biden on his own laptop?
How would you feel?
Why do I have to pay for Pop's repairs at his home?
Uh leaving 10% for the big guy, Tony Bobolinski.
You know, put all this together.
You know, look at the deal.
1.5 billion dollar deal with the Bank of China, then you got a hundred thousand doll shopping spree with the Chinese national, then you got a five million dollar uh no interest forgivable loan to the Bidens with China, and then a grand total,
according to John Solomon at JustTheNews.com, sixty-seven million dollars in total going to UPenn, the vast majority of which just shy of 50 million of that 67 million when Biden is out of office and setting up that center at UPenn or the Penn Biden Center, you gotta be kidding me.
Uh it's it's pretty unbelievable.
But if you look at then in Wilmington, Delaware, his private residence, more than two decades, they all called this place a home, the Biden family, Joe Jill Hunter, and the mansion also had numerous classified documents.
He makes the comment about him being in a closed garage, a lock garage is the exact term.
Well, we've got videos and pictures of it not being locked on numerous occasions.
And you should see the front cover of the New York Post today.
They got it circled.
That doesn't look very secure to us, and he's right.
But again, there's a double standard.
You know, one standard for Donald Trump, one standard for Hillary and the Clintons.
One standard for Donald Trump and Republicans and conservatives, and one for the Bidens.
And this is what I've been saying.
We don't have equal justice under the law in this country.
It's what I've been saying.
We don't have equal application of our laws in this country.
Now, presumably the documents located near the cardboard boxes we showed you last night.
We'll show you again tonight.
And according to Biden, it's not a big deal because people know he takes classified material seriously.
That's not a good excuse.
If you took it seriously, you were the one on 60 minutes lecturing Donald Trump.
How?
How does this happen?
How?
How could anyone be so irresponsible?
It might be people.
Compromise, methods, name.
So how?
How did it happen?
How that could possibly compare it.
It's not good.
Anyway, people that take classified materials seriously don't stash their secret documents in a garage.
And now I love how the media mob is contorting themselves, trying to say, oh no, this is not comparable.
Oh, yes, it is comparable.
But the money makes it even worse.
Never been any accusations that Donald Trump got paid by China or his children made deals with China or deals with Ukraine.
You know, Donald Trump never had to leverage a billion taxpayer dollars to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired.
Donald Trump never got his kids never got money from a Russian oligarch or investment money from a Russian oligarch.
That never happened.
And remember, there's no visitor logs.
Forty percent of Joe's presidency has been spent outside of Washington.
Most of it at his homes.
And yet we have no visitor logs at all whatsoever.
No security logs at all whatsoever.
We don't have a clue who went in and out of that house.
So they care so much about transparency, but they were higher hiding this information.
And you know, if you look at the timeline, it's simple.
Last August, Mar-Lago was raided.
This is after the FBI had unfettered access to the room where the quote documents were eventually found.
They were in the room.
They were in the room because they were allowed and volunteered and invited into the room for crying out loud.
Then they said, could you put a padlock on the door?
Sure, we'll put a padlock on the door.
Then Trump went a step further.
After reports that there were a ton of reports, oh, the Justice Department, there's even one today.
They think there might be more papers.
Donald Trump hired some some not accounting firm, some firm that actually went through every square inch of every property he has and invited the Justice Department to join them.
Justice Department said no.
Now they want to interview the people that did go.
Why didn't they go?
Because they got the invitation, according to everyone that I've talked to.
Anyway, last August, after Trump invited federal officials to his home, they put the padlock on as requested.
Then they raided Mar-a-Lago.
In September, Biden berated Trump on 60 minutes.
In November, on November 2nd, to be exact, this trove of top secret classified documents found in Biden's private office.
The DOJ was notified immediately.
We weren't told this before the election.
There was no raid at Biden's private offices, and Biden says nothing to the American people.
Now here's where it gets even stranger.
Two weeks later, November 18th, Merrick Garland appoints a special counsel to investigate Donald Trump, but not Joe Biden.
But they knew Joe Biden had done the same thing.
And it wasn't until yesterday that guy that that Garland, he had no choice but to appoint a special counsel.
In the sense it couldn't be any better the timing of Jim Jordan's investigation than Jim Comer's investigation.
Because they are going to work in tandem.
And Jim Comer is looking into the Biden family syndicate and all the money that we're talking about.
I'm sure he'll get the banking records at some point.
And then Jim Jordan is going to look at the double standard as it relates to remember Christopher Ray and Merrick Carl, and they personally approved the raid of Mar-a-Lago.
Jonathan Turley even pointed out the claim, by the way, that they were housed that the president had no classified documents, and they were housed in multiple unsecure locations.
The claim, they're lying to us on so many different levels.
At least some of those documents had to have been moved multiple times.
How do we know that?
Because the U Penn Biden center, where that first batch of materials showed up, didn't open their doors till 2018.
He got out of office in early 2017, over a year after he left the Obama White House.
So where were the documents stored before then?
By the way, who moved them?
Who might have had access to them?
And the UPenn Political Center, named after Joe Biden, was probably one of the worst places on earth to store top secret information.
Now, John Solomon even took it even further.
So there's $67 million going to UPenn from China between 2013-2019, nearly 50 million of which, the vast majority of that money flowing in during Biden's lucrative reign at the UPenn Biden Center, which he really wasn't even there much.
And get this, in 2016, an email uncovered on Hunter Biden's laptop.
He has his own agent referencing the creation of the UPenn Center while also discussing quote wealth creation.
And he's doing the deal with China on energy.
And China is looking for something in return.
They wanted the investigation into espionage against our country.
Our country, they wanted it ended.
And they got 100-plus UPenn professors to sign a letter to Merrick Garland.
And Merrick Garland closed out the investigation, espionaged by China, our number one geopolitical foe.
So we're going to a university that gets millions.
Of course their professors want more money from anonymous Chinese donors.
Why wouldn't they?
Probably means better facilities for them, maybe even a pay raise.
Who knows?
And, you know, prior to this, Hunter was raking in millions of dollars from Chinese foreign nationals, the proceeds from that that 1.5 billion dollar deal inked with the Bank of China, ten days after Hunter was with his father in China, the vice president on that trip to Beijing in February of 2022, after getting millions and donations from China, University of Pennsylvania successfully lobbies the Biden Justice Department.
That's the executive branch of Joe Biden, his DOJ, his AG, and sure enough, that put an end to the counterespionage program uh against Beijing's growing influence over academia.
China's America's number one political foe.
This is not hard stuff to understand.
These this these investigations are key.
You know what?
This is what I wanted.
This is what we all wanted.
This is what I kept saying in the middle of, you know, Hannity, why do you want this to end so fast?
Because everything's agreed on.
The agenda was always agreed on.
The right to vacate, uh, the motion to vacate was always agreed on.
Days and days before January 3rd.
Some people didn't know it.
I did.

Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers no one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
So just the news reported.
So you got this new governor in Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro.
He was the state's attorney general two years ago when his office got a complaint about the tens of millions of dollars that UPenn had accepted from anonymous uh Chinese nationals.
In other words, from China.
UPenn hit the China jackpot 67 million, and the vast majority of which, almost 50 of million of which, uh, came when Joe Biden showed up there.
Letter uh sent by Take Back Our Republic addressed to then Attorney General Shapiro and other high-ranking members of his team.
That was sent in July of 2021, nearly a year and a half before the Biden classified document story broke.
Now remember there was in the Hunter Biden laptop, you know, talk about giving keys to people from China to the office where the top secret documents were being held.
You think that Garland would be a little more interested in that?
Apparently not.
Well, neither was General Attorney General Shapiro.
But anyway, and all these people who sent this in July of 2021, a year and a half before this this story breaks, resulting in Merrick Garland appointing a special counsel as if he had a chance.
Now, by the way, he should have appointed one for Hunter because of the obvious conflict of interest.
That's a separate issue.
Now, this letter requested that the stated attorney general open an investigation into the one million dollars in compensation or nearly one million uh that the university paid Biden over the years 2017 through 19.
Biden was appointed a professor.
He never taught a class.
The letter said if Biden did not perform services for the university worth 911,000 bucks, that would be a serious misapplication of nonprofit funds in violation of Pennsylvania law.
If there was any quid pro quo arrangement, for example, a promise to Penn President Amy Gutman of an appointment similar to an ambassadorship for which he has now been nominated, that would also be a violation of Pennsylvania nonprofit law.
Now, citing the possibility that Penn was used as a conduit for foreign donations to Biden's presidential campaign, the group urged the attorney general to share the results of any investigation with the FEC and other federal authorities, depending upon what you find.
We sent this letter due to the obvious quid pro quo, but now we know that was just the tip of the iceberg, said John Putner, president of Take Back Our Republican Action.
He said in an interview.
At the time we knew that we were paying Biden, but we didn't know about the actual Penn Biden center office, which appears to have served as a de facto campaign office for Biden 2020, used by 10% of his senior campaign staff.
And by the way, just the news.com saw a comment from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office, as well as Governor Shapiro.
Neither responded.
What a shock.
You know, you just can't, you just you just never understand why people don't get back to you, do you?
Uh I love Legacybox.com.
You're gonna love it too.
Now look, if you have spare time, it's a new year.
Maybe you're living in cold weather state, perfect time to go out in the garage, go down in the basement, go in your closets, go in your attic, find all those family photos, find your video tapes, find your camcorder tapes, even film reels that might exist of you and your family over the years, and you could have them perfectly preserved to digital files, and yes, you get your your originals back from Legacy Box.
They're the world's leader.
They've helped millions of people.
It's an incredible gift for everybody.
And think about it, years down the line, generation generations from now, your great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandkids.
They'll know what you look like.
How cool is that?
I would love to be able to see that.
Anyway, it's simple.
Kick off the new year.
Go to LegacyBox.com slash Hannity, and you can take advantage of this incredible offer.
Now, the uh, you know, Kimberly Strassel, I like her a lot.
Very, very smart, wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal.
This is what she said.
She's pointing out today, I'll sum it up a little for you.
That thanks to Merrick Garland's reckless decision to target Trump the way they did, and over a minor irrelevant presidential documents case, which by the way, the FBI had been in the room, had unfettered access, requested the padlock, they could have come back.
They could have taken it that day.
They didn't.
There was no nobody at no time did anyone even allege that they were told no they couldn't look.
And anyway, Republicans still angry over the way the DOJ allowed itself to be conned during the 2016 presidential election.
You know, remember Hillary Clinton, 33,000 emails, all of that.
The big Russia gate hoax that was, you know, you know, created by Team Clinton to paint Trump as a Putin pawn.
Interestingly, the guy that led off led the FBI effort into talking to big tech companies in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election wrote a thesis in college about how Trump and Russia colluded so Trump could win in 2016.
That was not true.
But yet this guy is meeting weekly with every big tech company.
You gotta be on the lookout for foreign disinformation campaigns.
They're gonna try to impact our elections.
And you guys can't be purveyors of misinformation.
And it may even be about Joe Biden.
It may be about Hunter Biden, according to the integrity site monitor at the time at Twitter, this guy by the name of Mr. Roth.
He testified under oath in Missouri about that fact.
So anyway, the you know, you would think Republicans have every right.
That was the FBI trying to put their thumbs on on an election in 2016.
They tried to do it again in 2020.
You know, some people made some crazy statements.
There are things, as I pointed out, that nobody's paying attention to.
And that nobody nobody wanted to hear from the real whistleblowers, people that swore affidavits under the threat of perjury.
Nobody cared that laws weren't followed, that partisan observers were supposed to watch the vote count from start to finish.
They used COVID as an excuse to just thwart the law.
They should have made accommodations.
Nobody cared that constitutions, like in states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were completely ignored and circumvented, and instead of going through the constitutional process, which is to amend a constitution, they just let the legislature bypass it.
That's not how the system works.
Anyway, so Kimberly points out that the Russia hoax, you know, follow the FBI's decision to give Clinton that pass.
Caught red-handed.
And you can add to that, Christopher Steele offered a million dollars by the FBI to just corroborate that his dossier is accurate.
He could never collect his million dollars.
The FBI met with him in early October 2016.
By the end of October 2016, they were using the dirty disinformation dossier that not only was unverified by its author, but it was unverifiable because all of it was bunk.
It was all fake, it was all phony, it was all a fraud.
And then they used it to secure the Pfizer application warrants, and according to Andrew McCabe, deputy FBI director, without which they never would have gotten the Pfizer warrants approved.
You just can't make all this up.
I know it's a lot of detail here.
We spent two and a half years on that every single day.
We got it right, the mob and the media gets it wrong.
Anyway, Democrats, on the other hand, argue James Comey's 11th hour decision to open a brand new investigation into Hillary emails found on Anthony Wiener's laptop, tipped the 2016 election of Trump.
Here's what they're not telling you is that there were law enforcement officials in New York that had that laptop that knew damn well that there was information the FBI was holding back, and pressure was brought to bear.
It was going to break one way or the other.
That's the only reason it came out, according to my sources.
And four hours later, the DOJ decided to deep six the incriminating evidence they found on Hunter's laptop that decision as well.
And um, you know, look at where we are.
And you'd think, as Kimberley Strasso says that the Department of Justice would have learned something from the FBI's disastrous decision to insert itself into the 2016 presidential campaign.
Think again.
Or now the 2020 campaign trying to warn, oh, there might be disinformation about Hunter Biden.
How convenient that they mentioned Hunter Biden, considering the FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop since December of 2019.
My goodness.
Garland is consistently violated federal rules by refusing to name a special counsel.
Why didn't he appoint a special counsel in the Hunter Biden case?
Why did the media mob and everybody that was so worked up over the quid pro quo, Donald Trump saying don't abuse taxpayer money, Mr. Zelensky, like your predecessors did.
Uh he's looking out for us.
That's our money that they're giving over to Ukraine.
And by the way, they're wasting it now.
Western Europe ought to be fighting this war.
It's right in their backyard, not ours.
And they never fight wars to win wars anymore.
So if you're not gonna fight to win, don't waste our money.
They could have knocked this out in three weeks and gotten on with things.
Now that they're not, you know, nobody wants to pay for any of it.
Why should they?
Anyway, so, you know, Biden, by the way, is, you know, more criminally at risk just because of the mere money factor.
And by the way, you know, Trump, they had unfettered authority.
He had unfettered authority, I should say, to declassify documents.
There's no system by which the federal government is laid out.
There's no law that's out there that says you have to declassify this way or that way.
None whatsoever.
Anyway, that doesn't exist for Biden.
He didn't have the power as vice president to declassify.
And removing and storing top secret documents at an unauthorized location.
Democrats and the media mob, they're the ones that scream this is a crime.
They should put Trump in jail.
Uh how come they're making excuses for Joe?
It's reckless.
And the standard, by the way, is not just intentional, but reckless.
This was reckless.
Well, it was next to my Corvette and it was locked in a garage.
Oh, okay, that's safe.
Uh, but that's what his excuse was the Corvette defense, as Greg Jarrett called it, which is pretty laughable.
You know, because his garage is in a secure location, uh, because he owns an expensive old car.
Uh it's not a skiff, a sensitive compartmented info facility.
No, it's not that.
That's designed to protect national security secrets.
But again, you know, here's where we find ourselves.
It's just these are pretty unbelievable times.
And the mob in the media, this is what I try to tell Republicans too.
I want you Republicans to understand something here.
And this is very important.
This is why I quoted Reagan a lot.
If you're 80% in agreement with somebody, you're not 20% somebody's enemy.
You're just not.
And you never, you know, never underestimate Republicans' ability to create circular firing squads.
You know, they do it all the time.
They have a slim majority.
This was my message to everybody, privately and publicly.
You're going to succeed or fail together.
You, all of you, all of you Republicans.
These investigations are critical for the country.
You know, we have right now a debt limit might be reached as early as next week.
There's going to be a showdown in Congress.
You guys need to be united in this showdown.
The U.S. will hit its debt limit on Thursday, and Yellen is warning that they need to take steps to avoid default.
Now, by the way, she says they'll be taking extraordinary measures to prevent the U.S. from defaulting on its obligations.
They're going to talk about, oh, shutting down the government, full faith and trust in the federal government.
Let me tell you what doesn't happen during a government shutdown.
Grandma, mom and dad Social Security will be paid.
Medicare stays working.
Our military is up and running.
And usually the people that are furloughed end up getting back pay in a free vacation.
That's how it usually ends.
Now the question is, can Congress now use this now that they have their power of the purse as a moment to start cutting some of the reckless spending.
They ought to be listing now and identifying now every single item that is inappropriately being spent on things that we can ill afford, and that is not fair to the American taxpayer.
That would be a good thing to do.
Anyway, what else do we have here?
Big banks reporting mixed earnings, and they are preparing for a recession.
Inflation crisis, according to other people, is far worse than we thought.
We've known it's bad.
And None of it is good.
And in Maryland has a funny comment.
And I can't, I can't not take this call.
What do you want to say?
I don't understand why they didn't go through Jill uh underwear drawer.
I mean, like they did Melania.
Like they did Melania, all the violations that they did to that whole family.
And why is not why is the Biden administration, which is a lot more precarious?
Why aren't they examining all the whole the whole place?
The whole place, all the family and everything like they did with with uh Trump's youngest son.
Because we have a dual justice system.
That's the short answer, and that is the short answer.
The big difference here, I'm telling you, it's about money.
This is gonna come down to I never once spoke to Hunter about my foreign business dealings or any other family member.
Well, there's too much evidence now to the contrary.
We have photographic evidence.
We got times, dates, locations of meetings of Hunter, Joe, and his farm business partners.
You got the big guy identified on the laptop in terms of who it was and who also met with Hunter and Joe and talked about foreign business dealings.
Now this money with China is bigger than ever.
It's China, Russia, I mean, our number one in two geopolitical foes.
And then of course he sold, you know, he some of our uh strategic petroleum reserves to China.
Now Congress has had to deal with that.
The new Congress has had to deal with that.
Anyway, I got so much I gotta get to.
Um we're gonna take a little break from this, though, at the top of the next hour because of the life story of our friend Stephen A. Smith.
I could not believe what he lived through and how he's become a success.
You're gonna want to hear this story, and that is coming up straight ahead.

This is the Sean Hannity Show.
So I've been friends with Stephen A. Smith for many, many.
I see him out there.
Look at him.
He's a uh I just love seeing his face.
He's smiling.
He's all excited.
Uh I think he's gonna be shocked.
He probably thinks I didn't read the book.
I read the book.
I can't believe what I read in this book.
You know, one of the things about this life, I don't care who you are, I don't care your socioeconomic background.
I don't care about any of that.
I don't care about any identity, anything.
There's nobody that I know in this world in this life that does not go through trial and tribulation.
As the Roadless Travel points out, life is difficult.
Life is hard.
You know, life not a matter about life is not all sunshine and rainbows.
Not a matter of how hard you get hit.
You know, nothing will hit harder than life itself.
Not a matter about how hard you get hit, it's about a matter how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
Keep moving forward.
That's how winning is done.
Anyway, that's from Rocky.
Not my best imitation.
But um I couldn't believe his story.
That's next.
Next.
