Sean hits the ground running being rightfully very critical of the news today that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg flew to New York on a private jet to do a radio interview and Environmental Czar John Kerry will only ever fly private. The hypocrisy is crazy, especially as they're not recommending Americans give up their gas stoves. Sean has the latest....See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

All right.
Thank you, Scott Shannon.
And thanks to all of you.
Toll free on numbers 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part of a program.
Linda, I've talked about my background, my experience.
Twelve years old, washing dishes till two in the morning every Friday, Saturday, Sunday night.
Busy restaurant.
Norwood Inn is the place it was called.
And it was, you know, I had to scour everything by hand.
They didn't have a wash, you know, a dishwasher machine like most restaurants have today.
Although they did, it was you.
Yeah, that was it.
It was me.
A lot of a lot of muscle burnt.
They had a hand in any.
Oh, yeah.
Meanwhile, something I'd go in Friday night right after school, and you know, sure enough, they had every dish, every pot, every pan that had been sitting there all week.
I'm like, oh man, this sucks.
Yeah.
It's a lot of fun.
Uh, but by 13, I was not only the dishwasher, but I became the the cook at night, and and I actually loved it.
That part I really liked a lot.
Uh the reason I'm bringing all this up is um the Democrats now want to ban gas stoves.
Now I know what I uh I I cook every meal pretty much that I eat on weekends I'll go out occasionally, but mostly I make every meal myself.
For myself, by myself, and and I make it the way I like it.
I like the preparation time.
I like to chop the onions, I like to do whatever I'm doing.
I just like to do it myself.
Anyway, the consumer product safety commission now, they're going to ban gas stoves.
The commission chair, guy by the name of Richard Trumpka Jr.
Does that sound familiar?
Does that sound familiar, Linda?
That name Trumpka.
I'm sure there's no relation.
Uh not at all.
No nepotism.
No.
Anyway, teased in an interview that he the agency plans to propose new regulations on gas stoves that would include a total complete ban.
Well, this is a hidden hazard.
By the way, how did we know all these years we've had gas stoves?
How did we ever survive?
I can't believe it.
Anyway, any option is uh on the table.
Products that can't be made safe can be banned.
And he isn't worried that gas stoves may call cause accidental burns.
By the way, any stove can cause an accidental burn.
Any of you ever use an electric stove where that that plate gets hot?
It's the worst thing to cook on.
And, you know, for example, uh, I recently, or when I was over Christmas, uh, I I cooked the prime rib.
I cooked a filet mignon for everybody.
I cooked all of this.
And uh, you know, I was it was obvious that the people that thought they could cook it had no clue how to cook it, so I just kind of took over.
I as you know, I I cook my turkey every year.
I fry it, I love it, it's delicious.
Anyway, um, a hidden hazard for electric range tops that stay hot long after they're turned off.
Instead, the agency's purported concern is that gas stoves cause cause indoor pollution and asthma.
You gotta be kidding me.
You've got to be kidding me.
This is this is that the government you want?
Is that the role of government you want in your life?
You're ban banning you from buying a big gulp.
I've never bought a big gulp in my life.
I don't drink soda very often.
Very rarely I'll have a little bit of a coke.
Maybe if I'm like exhausted or tired, you know, just to give me a little boost, a little lift, it's just a little caffeine.
I'd rather drink black coffee myself.
Uh AOC is getting brutalized all over social media uh after she mocked uh Congressman Ronnie Jackson who I saw last night for tweeting that he would never give up his gas stove.
I'm not giving up my gas stove either.
I'm not doing it because then I won't be able to cook the way I need to cook.
Did you know that the ongoing exposure to NO2 uh from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance?
So she's saying a gas stove is pretty much linked to brain damage.
She's saying it to a medical doctor, Dr. Ronnie Jackson.
And Josh Jackson vowed he'd rather die than give up his gas stove.
I'm never giving up my gas stove.
If the maniacs in the White House come from my stove, they can pry it out of my cold dead hands.
Come and take it.
I'm with him.
This is insane.
Commissioner, you know, the all this actors, politicians, conservative uh activists, you know, altogether making fun of AOC and uh in it for the exchange and asking the Congresswoman how many gas stoves she probably owned, joking that her own proposal was a direct attack on chefs like Gordon Ramsey.
There's an article in the New York Post today, and it quoted a guy by the name of Sojourn executive chef, a guy by the name of Peter uh Petty relies heavily on a gas stove to cook nearly all of the dishes on their menu, and switching to induction uh would be extremely costly and very complex.
It's not how you cook in a restaurant, just not how that's not the reality of how it works.
You know, anyway, so you know, he pointed out that he's gonna have stainless steel pots of of pasta uh water boiling, you know, while searing salmon and and stay.
How do you sear stamina and steaks, for example, or pork chops or whatever you like to cook?
You know, all 12 burners ignited on gas stoves.
He says some dishes require two or three pans on the burners, and he's been cooking now with gas for decades.
The feds, however, can't stand the heat.
So we have to see what happens.
About 40% of households would be imp impacted by this.
By the way, how are we going to pay for these get new gas stoves?
What about people that can't afford them to get a new stove?
Good grief.
And that's not the only thing they're proposing.
You might not have heard this.
Uh the Department of Energy now is putting forward a rule that would phase out the use of compact fluorescent light bulbs as part of the Biden administration's efforts to remove less energy efficient bulbs from the market.
We leave our light bulbs alone, leave our stoves alone, leave 7 Eleven alone, leave our big gulp alone.
You know, you're such hypocrites.
You know, how much money a year does the government make by selling cigarettes and tobacco products with their taxes they put on it?
They really cared about people's health.
You know, obviously smoking is dangerous to your health, additives, chemicals, etc.
But instead of banning that, uh, they make a big healthy profit.
They call it a syntax.
You buy a beer, you're paying a syntax as if alcohol is bad in and of itself.
No, overconsumption of alcohol, not a particularly good idea.
But this is where they are.
And by the way, if that's what their plan is, you know, if they're all so worried about the environment, maybe somebody needs to have a conversation with transportation secretary P. Budajudge, because yesterday he took a government managed jet, in other words, a jet you paid for.
They have a fleet between jets and helicopters of about a thousand of them.
Anyway, just to go to New York so we could do a radio interview and meet with the ACLU.
Well, that seems like a, you know, a real good reason to um, you know, fly in a private jet.
I mean, if they're so committed to it, why don't they live that way themselves?
But they don't.
They're such phony hypocrites.
Hey, Sean, I gotta tell you something.
What?
I don't know if you saw this, but National Review did an article, and I think it's something that's not getting a lot of attention, but it has a lot to do with this stove conundrum we find ourselves in, which is not a conundrum.
I'm not giving up my stove.
I'm not doing it.
Well, for some of us, um, it may be a conundrum because if they're not going to allow the state to carry the propane or natural gas or regular oil to power our stoves, we're pretty much SOL.
So I think it's important to know that the study that they're basing this on.
So they're basically saying it's not good for your health, but they're focusing on kids, and they're saying they're saw an influx in kids with asthma in homes that had stoves.
But what they're leaving out is that the study wasn't based on studying kids with asthma or on science.
It was funded uh by RMI, which is this environmental group.
It does all the radical reducing uh, you know, their own.
So it's BS science.
A hundred percent.
And it's just all about carbon-free living.
And I'm sure the same jerks that wrote the study are flying around in private jets to give speeches on carbon-free living.
So, our climate czar is flying on a private jet if he's not pl flying in a government paid for uh private jet to go to some climate conference.
Uh, he's using his own private jet.
Uh by the way, I could care less that John Kerry, I don't care how he flies, but why are we paying for it and getting lectured about our stoves and our uh light bulbs that we're using?
I'm sick and tired of it.
And what's the kickback for the electric stove?
Because they're getting grandhome saying we're gonna get tax credits.
Oh, gee, thanks.
That that's I can't wait to lose you're not gonna gain money in that process.
And then we, the taxpayers, will end up buying stoves for half the population.
There you go.
Let me move on to the classified document hypocrisy.
Now, this is amazing.
Two impeachments of Donald Trump, the ignoring of the real quid pro quo, that's Joe demanding withholding a billion taxpayer dollars, so a prosecutor in Ukraine gets fired.
Guy turns out to be investigating zero experience hunter.
Hunter who goes on Good Morning America.
Worst interview ever.
No.
Gas, no.
Oil, no.
Ukraine, no.
Why do you think you're being paying millions?
I don't know.
Maybe because your daddy is in charge of the money in Ukraine, and yeah, that would be probably.
Anyway, that's only the tip of the iceberg.
Um so with all these investigations, we got a number of them.
One is into the Biden family syndicate.
Joe Biden lied.
Joe Biden said he never spoke to his son Hunter ever about his foreign business dealings or any other member of his family.
Well, we got photographic evidence that proves otherwise.
We also have evidence in Hunter's laptop where he implicates his own father saying, I gotta give half my income to Pops and I have to fix and pay for all of Pops repairs.
And by the way, Joe Biden's building a wall in his backyard.
He's not building one at the border, so he must believe walls work, or else why would he be building a wall around his Delaware mansion?
Makes sense, right?
Uh so anyway, the left that supported all of this, the left that ignored the five hundred and seventy-four riots, wanted, you know, hearings and perpetuity as it relates to January 6th, ignoring the the riots that killed dozens of Americans, injured thousands of cops, caused billions in property damage.
You know, now that the Republicans are in charge, they're going to be in investigating.
In the case of uh Jim Comer, he's going to be investigating the Hunter Biden laptop, but more importantly, Joe Biden's involvement in what likely will be the biggest pay-to-play or influence pedaling scandal in history.
I'm just making a prediction.
Good guess, educated guess on my part.
And uh, and they don't like that investigation, but they loved all the ones against Trump.
They couldn't get enough of the investigations against Donald Trump.
If they would have one every day, if they could impeach him every day, they would have impeached him every day.
Then of course, Jim Jordan is looking into whether the FBI has been politicized.
The answer we already know from whistleblowers and other evidence is absolutely yes.
And the DOJ weaponized, absolutely yes.
Many people say, oh, finding this classified information on Joe that Joe Biden took uh as vice president is bad because now we can't use it against Trump.
Well, Hillary Clinton was worse than both of them combined, but that's a different issue for a different day.
On over at MSDNC, they're saying investigating investigators is an insurrection committee.
This is a this is how sick the left is.
Meanwhile, it's o perfectly okay for the FBI in the lead up to our last election to have weekly meetings with every big tech company led by a guy that whose thesis in 2016 was about how Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, which is a total, complete and utter lie.
Uh that guy, you know, leading up a team to talk to big tech, warning them that there might be foreign interference, and you gotta watch out for misinformation, and it might be about Hunter Biden.
And the FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop.
They could have corroborated it any time since they had it in December of 2019.
They never did.
MSDNC predicts violence as a result of GOP rhetoric in these investigations.
Liberal Joe blasting Republican idiots for targeting the DOJ to avenge Trump.
Uh Joe.
The FBI basically was involved.
They gave Twitter three and a half million dollars.
They were meeting with big tech companies.
The story in the New York Post about Hunter's laptop was true.
It would have had an impact on the race.
If it was if it was against Trump, you know you'd be for it.
You total hypocrite.
It's unreal.
And they don't want this to go at all.
Uh liberal media now rushing to defend Biden, AP, New York Times, Washington Post, all publishing nearly identical articles.
Uh and joyless Behar.
We don't think Joe Biden's a liar and a thief.
So we give him the benefit of the doubt on those classified documents.
Oh, okay.
There's there's real parody here.
Uh 800, 941 Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the program.
A lot to get to today.
And we will, all things simple, man.
Bill O'Reilly has recommendations about your health.

All right, we'll break format just a little bit here.
Sandy is in New York, has a question.
Sandy, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hello?
Oh, thanks, Sean.
Very uh long time caller, big fan.
Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you.
What's going on?
I'm calling.
Well, it's funny you were talking about the uh stove because here in New York State, I've lived here all my life, and it's very sad to see the state of it at this point.
I live in Rochester, New York, which has very high crime, and now Hopeful also in New York wants to ban and eliminate um gas-fired furnaces in the home.
Um, also, and that's new build by 2025 and existing homes by 2030.
And that means because we just had someone maintain our furnace, and I asked them about this and they said, Yeah, the other part they're not telling you is it's gonna cost you six to eight to ten thousand to extra insulate your home before you can even put the heat pump in.
And our house is only twenty four hundred square feet good for a family of four.
So that's what we have to deal with.
So, you know, you you want to know what my answer to you is you may be surprised.
Are you ready?
Oh, I'm ready.
Just leave.
They don't want us in New York.
They're insane.
They tax us to death.
They basically rob us.
You know, she starts out, Well, I'm not gonna raise taxes this year because of inflation, but I will next year.
I mean, the the their views on everything are so twisted and so thwarted, and there's so many of them on the left.
Let them have their liberal utopia in New York, California, Oregon, uh let them have it in Washington State, Illinois, let them have it.
New Jersey, they can have that too.
Because, you know, everybody just needs to to just realize these states are gone.
And to to ever return them to greatness, I don't see happening in my lifetime or yours.
Uh and they're just all crazy.
Not the answer maybe you expected.
By the way, here's another insane thing.
And we'll get into this later when we have uh Congressman Pat Fallon who wants to impeach uh Alejandro Mayorcis, uh, which by the way, he's not enforcing the law.
We see the consequences, five million illegal immigrants in two years.
The border's secure.
Well no, you're lying.
Um Elections have consequences.
For my friends in Arizona, pay close attention.
I hope you're happy with your new governor.
I hope you're happy that those cargo containers, the the barricades that were put up by Governor Ducey.
I hope you're happy they're now gone.
And now your governor, Katie Hobbs, wants to take your money, uh forty million dollars of it, and she has proposed a state funded scholarship program to help illegal immigrants attend state universities and state colleges.
They're not in the country legally, governor.
You're aiding and abetting law breaking, and you're even now, you know, offering preferential treatment.
You just can't get over this.
It's it this is how crazy everybody's getting here.
Um, but it is what it is.
Let me um let me point out a couple of things, uh, as it relates to the investigations.
You can see with this is the insurrection committee.
Uh okay, whatever.
Democrats, they hate every Republican.
They hate every conservative.
One thing I will remind you often between now and November twenty twenty-four.
Republicans, you better get your voting act together.
I'll go over this in detail on a regular basis.
I won't do it now.
But there's only one state in this country that requires that people hand in their own ballots.
That means there is legal ballot harvesting.
All these candidates from Joe Biden and John Fetterman and Katie Hobbs, they don't run traditional campaigns.
They don't.
They spend hundreds of millions of dollars on negative ads produced by, you know, slick, you know, Madison Avenue liberal groups or whoever puts them together.
They then stay away from debating.
They don't hold press conferences or press avails.
Uh they don't do town halls.
They they avoid all media like the plague, even helpful media, although they'll occasionally get an assist from them.
Um they don't kiss babies, they don't take selfies, they don't shake hands, they don't go to fairs, they're not doing any of this.
The next step is they they figure out how to ballot harvest and get they focus on ballots.
Republicans, whatever reluctance and resistance you have, if the law in your state is such that they allow bam ballot harvesting, you better match what the Democrats are doing.
You better match and you better frankly do it better than the way they're doing it.
And or you can have the better alternative would be, in my opinion, if you want real integrity in elections, you know, France went back to paper ballots.
Why can't we?
Republican governors should put forth bills to have election day only voting.
People need to have photo IDs of signature verification, chain of custody controls if there is mail in ballots from the elderly, the infirmed, or people in the military Or people out of town on business.
They can they can request an absentee ballot.
And then on election day, you have partisan observers from every party watch the voting take place, paper ballots, and then you watch the vote count from start to finish up close so you could actually see it.
And Republican governors, nothing stopping them from doing this.
Why do we need six weeks of voting?
Four weeks of voting.
All the votes are in before they even debate.
I mean, it's it's insane.
Now, as it relates to Biden's classified documents, just the news.com, they pointed out looks like a connection between Hunter Biden's deal making in China and China's decision to fund the Biden Penn Center where these classified top secret documents at the highest level, by the way, were found and stashed.
By the way, discovered in early November, but they didn't tell us before the election.
You think that was an accident?
Of course it wasn't an accident.
Biden Penn Center announced in 2017, they opened up a year later, was set up at the very same time that Zero Experienced Hunter was creating a joint venture with the Chinese officials and a company called CEFC.
That was to pursue natural gas deals within the United States, which would have benefited the communist Chinese.
Hunter Biden even offered his father a set of keys to the office of this new venture in 2017, although he never once spoke with his son about his foreign business dealings.
Anyway, by 2017, Biden, the Biden family dealings with China were far more extensive than just the CEFC.
Hunter Biden took a trip aboard Air Force II when his father went to Asia and they stopped in China and his father's in his father's vice presidential jet, carbon emissions.
And by the way, in 2015, he helped facilitate the sale of an American firm called uh Hening's that produced sensitive U.S. military jet parts.
And before it opened, the Penn Biden Center, the University of Pennsylvania got fifty-four million dollars in the time period around when Biden joined the group.
Now this raised the specter of Chinese donors having helped fund the one million in personal pay that Biden received from the think tank.
Did nothing that we can see for it.
And that on that front, James Comer is now also demanding, now he'll be investigating the Biden family syndicate.
Joe Biden lied, and Joe Biden and they took in all these millions of dollars.
Hunter had no experience.
So what will they buy?
Why were they paying Hunter?
Why did Joe fire a prosecutor in Ukraine?
The answers are obvious.
You don't have to be a brain surgeon.
Anyway, newly minted House Oversight Committee Chair, Jim Comer.
I saw him, he was on last night in our town hall.
We're going to run some of that in the next hour.
Is demanding that the Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, hand over a record number of suspicious activity reports on the Biden family and their banking transactions, which the Treasury Department has been keeping secret for years.
More than 150 of the Biden family business bank transactions were flagged by U.S. banks as suspicious.
Now those flag reports were sent over to Yellen for further review to ascertain if the Biden family was engaged in wrongdoing.
Janet Yellen is not going to investigate the Biden family.
The Treasury Department has a long-standing practice of disclosing those reports to Congress, but the Biden administration has prevented transparency, and that of course raises questions about a possible effort to hide the Biden network's suspicious business dealings.
Josh Hawley is demanding that Merrick Garland appoint a special prosecutor to probe the Biden documents scandal.
You know, he said in August of last year, FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago, the residents of former President Trump, supposedly to secure classified documents dating back to President Trump's time in office.
President Biden appears to have done exactly what President Trump did, only he didn't get his home rated by the FBI over it.
By the way, remember Merrick Garland and Christopher Ray said they made that decision.
the double standard is astounding he writes the underlying behavior at issue a president's retention of old classified documents dating back to a past presidency is materially the same in both The Senator continued, but in the president but in President Trump's case, the retention triggered an unprecedented raid on the home of a former president rationalized with a thicket of partisan doublespeak.
President Biden has not experienced anything remotely similar.
All he wrote to the and said to make matters worse, it took months for the news of the documents to surface when they were discovered on November 2nd, 2022.
That's six days before a hotly contested midterm election.
That was all by design.
This is, you know, a total lack of response and responsibility, and the way the media is just brushing this off is pretty unbelievable.
And by the way, Ukrainian documents, Iranian documents, we don't we don't even know all that's there.
You know, we know it was found November 2nd.
We know it was found by Biden's personal attorney, so they say.
Biden used the office from mid-2017 until launching his presidential campaign, so he was there.
Ten documents dated between 2013-2016 have been classified markings as quote top secret.
Intelligence memos, material related to Iran, Ukraine, the United Kingdom.
They had no idea, and meanwhile was right there for anybody to see.
Biden's surprise to learn the classified documents.
Said about Donald Trump.
How?
How did this happen?
How did it happen?
It's irresponsible.
Well, use the own, you know, he should now use his own words against himself.
Anyway, so will the special counsel be appointed in this case?
Well, probably the double standard will continue as it usually does.
This is why Jim Jordan's investigation about whether we have a dual justice system, a politicized FBI, a weaponized DOJ is now more important than ever.
And we'll see what happens.
Big media claiming that mishandling of classified documents, oh, this is different in Trump's case.
No, it's not different in Trump's case.
It's not.
Not only did he lie, he does he lie, I never talked to Hunter one time.
There now, somebody chronicled, I'm not sure where this came from, and whoever deserves attribution, I apologize.
Uh Biden claimed multiple times he was the inventor of insulin.
Multiple scientists are credited with discovering insulin.
Two died before Biden was born.
Biden claimed on multiple occasions he used to drive an 18-wheeler.
Sometimes with a woman he called Big Mama.
Okay, Biden rode in an 18-wheeler once nearly 50 years ago, but he never drove one.
Biden claimed he had a house burned down with my wife in it and said they almost lost a couple of firefighters.
Now the Biden House had a small fire that was contained to the kitchen and nobody got injured.
Biden claimed he was raised in the Puerto Rican community of Delaware.
No evidence of that, of course.
And of the state population, only 0.39% of the state population were of Puerto Rican descent.
He claimed that he served as a liaison to the Israeli Prime Minister Gold of my year during the six-day war.
Only problem is he was plagiarizing fellow students at Syracuse Law School during the war, and my ear wasn't even the prime minister.
Biden said he remembered spending time and going to the Tree of Life synagogue after the 2018 shooting.
The synagogue said he never visited.
Biden claimed his first job came from Boise Cascade, an Idaho lumber company.
They say they have no records of him ever applying or having worked for the company.
Biden said after he was elected VP, he was awarded the Uncle Frank awarded he awarded his Uncle Frank a Purple Heart.
Well, but Biden's uncle, who's not a Purple Heart recipient, died in 1999.
He wasn't elected until 2008.
He claimed he was appointed to the Naval Academy in 1965.
Zero records of him ever being nominated, and he graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965, making it impossible.
Biden claimed at least seven times he had a conversation with an Amtrak conductor in 2012 and 13 about traveling over one million miles on Air Force Two.
The conductor retired, passed away, and Biden didn't hit one million miles on Air Force II until 2015.
I could just keep going.
It just is and everyone's upset.
Well, this new Congressman Santos, by the way, it ends up his guy's my congressman.
You know, he uh let's just say it gently.
Yeah, he padded his resume.
Uh by the way, did the Democrats ever kick out Omar?
They ever kick out the uh anti-Semitic caucus in the House?
No.
By the way, Kevin McCarthy is keeping his promises, and he's got a boot Schiff and Swalwell and Omar from key committees.
We're gonna have hearings on the Twitter FBI censorship scandal to begin early next month.
House Democrats back Republicans push to crack down on China.
Okay, let's see if we can get that moving.
Watch the demonization of people like Jim Jordan and James Comer.
That that's all a feta complete.
That's all gonna happen.
Republican House will vote on bills uh every bill that they voted on.
Now, I was there last night.
We'll play part of it later in the program.
But these guys seem really committed to what they're doing.
That's part of their that's their job, oversight, congressional oversight.
It's called a check, and it's called the balance.
They didn't have any problem with endless investigations into January 6th ad nauseum.
By the way, bypassing important information like, you know, interviewing the sergeant of arms, getting Nancy Pelosi's text, emails, and phone records, and asking her to come in, and uh Muriel Bowser in writing, rejecting the National Guard, uh not listening to the requests of the Capitol Police Chief for the National Guard in the days leading up to January 6th, or the other people that have said that Trump was willing to offer the the National Guard.
None of that came up in their report.
There's so much out there.
Oh, looky here.
We've got a new report.
Just came out.
Uh breaking news.
Biden aides have now found a second batch of classified documents.
Whoopsie Daisy, Merrick Garland, where are you?
I mean, I'd love to know.
Where are they?
Now they don't know how many documents that they found, but uh anyway, aides to Joe Biden.
They have discovered another batch of classified documents at a location separate from the Washington office that he used after leaving the administration with Barack Obama, and uh the White House won't return any requests for comments, and the classification level number, precise location of the additional documents is not clear.
Oh, looks like we got ourselves a raid problem.
Are they going to now raid Joe Biden's residence to see what other documents they might find?
After all, the FBI, remember they went to Mar-a-Lago, they looked at the documents, they asked for a padlock to be put on the room, and then just raided the place when they could have taken them that day when they were there.
Such hypocrites.
This is why Jim Jordan's investigation about a weaponized DOJ and a politicized FBI matters.
