All right, news rounds up information overload hour 800-941-Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, we have been going through the list of Senate races that are really important to the country if Republicans are to have any shot of taking back the Senate in November.
We've got Marco Rubio's race we're watching.
I think he'll do well in Florida.
We are following Herschel Walker.
He's going to join us in a second.
His race is very important in the state of Georgia.
We have a little bit of a fractured GOP in Georgia that they've got to come together, in my opinion.
Stacey Abrams says what, Georgia is the worst state to live in in the country, and she wants to be the governor.
That's kind of bizarre.
Then, of course, Tim Scott, I think he'll do great in South Carolina.
We got Bud in North Carolina.
We got Ron Johnson.
We've got JD Vance.
We've got Laxall.
We've got Arizona.
All these races are very important.
Missouri's another one.
Anyway, we have not had Herschel on since he won the primary by a huge margin as he will go up against sitting Senator Raphael Warnock, who's under fire lately over apparently being accused by his ex-wife of neglecting his children and failing to pay child care expenses.
How are you, sir?
I'm doing well.
How are you doing?
I'm good.
I noticed their first ad about you was to attack you, so that does not surprise me.
You've been in every hard-hitting sport there is.
This might be the hardest one in many ways.
Well, you know, it's funny.
They're going to tighten you all they want because they're trying to distract from all the bad policies that they have.
And everybody see those policies.
You know, when you see this economy going the way it's going, and everyone noticed the border, what happened at the border, and there's no food on the shelf, the baby former.
They got a lot of things that they're trying to get away from.
So they're going to attack me.
But yet, I say the harder they come, the harder I'm going to fight.
Right now, what they're doing to this state of Georgia, what doing to this country is not right.
You know, as you go out and talk to people, I mean, you hit on all the top issues I think that are going to impact people when they go to the polls this November.
And you look at one record high gas price a gallon.
I never thought the national average would be up to $5 a gallon for gasoline and going higher and no end in sight.
You know, I never thought we'd see a 42-year high of inflation.
We're living through that hell.
And that just means everything we buy in every store we go to is costing more.
You're right.
We now have the formation of what would be the largest caravan to date on our southern border.
So I assume Joe's going to maintain the policies of process and release and give free phones and free transportation to illegal immigrants that don't obey our laws and our sovereignty or respect our sovereignty or borders.
I can't pick up a, I can't think of a president that has had a worse foreign policy than Joe Biden, especially with Afghanistan and war in Europe.
I mean, these are really scary times, Herschel.
These are very scary times.
And the guy I'm running against, Senator Warnot, has voted almost 97% with Joe Biden policies.
And that's what's so bad.
And see, we're forgetting about the crime.
See, so many things are happening to this country where they're putting America second and America is not second.
Until Americans continue to lead, we're going to have problems in this world.
Because right now, we're about the only country that's left that has the freedom and liberties that we have.
So we're that beacon.
And right now, you have this border wide open.
Crime has gone up.
They really, I think it's national security risk when they give all the energy away.
You're talking about going to dictators to get energy from.
You're going to these other places that don't like us to get gas and oil.
When yet we're walking on some of the most fertile gas and oil is right underneath our feet, but yet he would not do it for the American people, which I don't understand why.
And what's more notable?
What's his answer to this?
Why are we energy independent under Donald Trump?
I think the single best thing we could do to offer relief to the poor, the middle class, people on fixed incomes, people that are really hurting as a result of these policies, would be to return to energy independence.
That would help the 40-year high of inflation.
That would reduce the cost of deliveries of products to every store we shop at.
Why isn't he out there advocating for people?
Well, one of the reasons he's not advocating for people is the same as the left is not doing.
They don't care.
You know, you can see the crime has picked up in this country today.
They don't seem to care.
They continue to let it happen.
And you see what's happening with this economy, even with our baby former.
They knew this was happening a month ago.
They did absolutely nothing.
And when he's talking about now, I don't know if you've seen where he's talking about removing the tariffs from China.
You know, what is the problem here?
The problem is he's not doing anything that can benefit the people of this country.
And Senator Warnot is going right along with it.
It's like he doesn't even have a voice for himself.
You know, he's supposed to represent Georgia, and he's not representing Georgia.
He's representing some other state.
And I can tell you right now that whatever you're doing does not represent Georgia.
And come November, I hope the people realize that.
I was very angry.
You and I have been friends a long time, Herschel, and I think the world of you and your entire family.
And I watched this attack against you on MSTNC.
There's a part of me that doesn't want to give it any life.
But there's another part of me that understands that people need to hear how horrific the attacks are against, especially African Americans that are conservative.
This was on MSDNC, and the person, Ellie Mistel, I want you to hear what she said.
Your thoughts.
Yeah, there are lots of things that he did to hurt the African-American community.
And I'm sure that he did.
I'm sure some of the things he did helped a couple of VO brothers here and there.
Look, I make a hard distinction between black conservatives, of which there are many, one of whom just was elected mayor of New York City, in fact, and these tokens who are out here right now sucking and jiving for their white handlers.
And the way that you can know the difference between a token and a person who just happens to have conservative views is that the black conservative has an argument for why their policies will help the black community.
So I'm sure Rufus and I could go back and forth about where the capital gains tax should be.
Rufus would argue that the capital gains tax would help black people, lowering the capital gains tax, would help black people build wealth.
And I could disagree with that, right?
Do you think Herschel Walker understood that sentence?
Do you?
You know, I'm listening to this.
The first thing that needs to be corrected is Eric Adams is the mayor of New York, but he's not a conservative.
He's a far-left liberal Democrat.
But, I mean, think of these words, chucking and jiving and token and white handlers.
I wrote you at the time, it makes my blood boil.
Well, you know, I invited him to come down, and we can see Shucking and Javin when you see the business that I've built.
And I'm not sure what he does for his living, but I like to help educate a young man like that.
Because a black and a brown person thinks for himself do not mean that Shucken and Java.
These policies that are out right now do not help anyone, whether you're black, brown, white, they're not good for anyone.
These policies that they're having right now do not represent America.
They're not represent Georgia.
And if you know of some other country that is better than where he's at today, why is he not there and here talking and complaining?
Well, we need to have people in Washington that's going to get things done, not complain.
And it seemed like he just want to talk about names rather than being educated.
And what I can do is I can help to educate him.
Now I said, if he come down and we sit down and we talk and break bread, I like to break bread with people like that.
And we can try to figure out how we can make things better.
Whenever we're together, we don't break bread.
You have me doing the hardest push-ups I've ever done in my life.
Well, that's what they don't know is I've worked all my life.
I've never given anything.
I've worked all my life.
And I've accomplished things through hard work, not through complaining, doing shows, but I've accomplished things through doing hard work.
And that's what I want to do when I get to this Senate is to go out and not complain, but try to get solutions, how we can get things fixed.
Like what is happening right now, I didn't do it.
Most of the people that's been in Washington did this here, and I want to help clean it up.
I want to get this economy back together by saying we got to get our own energy.
We got to become energy independent again so we can create jobs.
And we can also help the national security.
Do they realize that giving our energy away is going to affect our national security?
We can't do this.
You know, we can't do this.
We got to come together and we got to get this done as people.
We can't get it done as people want to continue to fight and call names and talk about each other, but do get work done.
You told me both on air and privately in a conversation we had that as soon as the primary was over, that you were going to appeal and go out and try to get every voter, regardless of whether they're Republicans or Democrats.
Explain that.
Well, what I want to do, and I started doing it before the primary even was over, I said, I represent all the people, whether you're a Democrat, Republican, Independent, I don't care who you are.
I represent you, and I want to hear what you got to say.
And that's why I said, I want to sit down with the people, whether you're a Democrat, I want to sit down and hear what you got to say.
I want us to discuss it like we're people.
You discuss these policies and not got nothing to do with the party.
It got to do with the policy.
You discuss things that are hurting them, where they're hurting at, and where I can help to change that because we're one.
And I say, I want to do a unity rally.
I want to do a unity rally where I bring everyone together and make it about these policies that work for the state of Georgia.
And that's what we got to do.
And I say it doesn't matter about anything else.
What matters about having your kids safe, that they can come home safe, they can walk to school, having your wives, your mom, being able to go to the mall and feel safe, being able to go to the grocery store, buy groceries without prices being so high, being able to buy gas and go to work.
That's what I'm worried about.
I'm not worried about a Democrat or Republican.
I'm worried about giving your way of life.
And that's what's most important to me.
All right, quick break more with Georgia's Senate candidate Herschel Walker on the other side.
Then we'll get to your calls, 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hammond.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass, you're our kind of people.

All right, we continue.
Herschel Walker is with us.
He is the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate from the great state of Georgia.
When Joe Biden, on his first day of office, the price of a gallon of gasoline was $2.39.
Today's national average is $4.86 a gallon, up 129%.
Now, I don't know how people can survive.
There's now two-thirds of the country, Herschel, two-thirds, and I've been there in my life, not just one year or three years or five years, but for a big part of my early adult life, living paycheck to paycheck.
It's not fun.
And you have people on fixed incomes.
You have the poor.
You have the middle class.
They can't survive.
Average family now is going to be paying close to $6,000 because of Biden's inflation.
If you drive a car, it's $2,000 at least more a year than you're going to pay from what you paid last year.
We can't afford this.
I don't think there's any other issue that's going to impact this election more than these issues.
And then, of course, law and order and the bad school systems we have, but that's a separate issue.
Well, we can't afford it, but you're leaving out Raphael Warnot.
Senator Warnott is voting right along with him.
It's not just Biden.
It's all these people on the left that voted right along with it that don't have the guts to go in there and tell him, this is very simple, Mr. President.
This is very simple.
All you got to do is get us back energy independent again, get us by drilling for our own oil, get us by putting these people back to work.
Let's start doing this here.
Let's get some of these regulations taken off so we can start these businesses, start doing work back here, and incentive for people to go back to work in the United States of America and then protect this border.
It is very simple, but yet these simple things he do not want to do.
But yet, the reason he don't want to do them is he has people like Senator Warnock continuing to vote right along with it.
So what is going to make him have this incentive to change?
If you have the people on the left voting right along with him, he's not going to change.
You know, it's so simple on the one hand.
All of these problems you've discussed were all preventable and they're all solvable.
It's all fixable.
But it's got to start with the election in November.
I'm pretty confident Republicans will take the House.
The Senate is a little more difficult.
Why do you think Georgia's ready to turn away from these leftist policies?
Well, I think Georgia is ready to turn away from them because Georgia's starting to wake up.
I think they've been calling the black and brown people names, but they're starting to see what's going on.
They're tired of going to the gas station with the prices going up the way they're going up.
They see what's happening here, how the people on the left doesn't seem to care, and that every now and then they throw them a little nugget out there to pretend that, oh, I really care about you only because they want you to vote for them.
And once they get the vote, they're not going to be there for you.
They've left everyone on the, they've left the people on the left behind.
Anyone that's going to vote for Herschel Walker who's thinking that they're leaving their party because they voted Democrat, you're not leaving your party.
Your party left you.
And now they've stranded you on the side of the road and they've left you there.
But I'm here.
I'm going to pick you up and I'm going to help you to get home safe because I can do it.
And I'm sick and tired of this area.
People are complaining because they're not getting their job done.
Instead of just going out doing the simpler thing by getting back to doing what is great for the people.
Well, Herschel Walker, going, I'm honored to call you a dear friend.
And two, I so enthusiastically support your run for the Senate.
You'll be a phenomenal senator for the people of Georgia.
That I know.
And you will work tirelessly for them.
And it's just your breath of fresh air.
I got to tell you.
I interview a lot of candidates and you're right at the top.
We appreciate your time.
Thanks for being with us.
We're going to follow this race very closely.
It is critical for Republicans.
This would be a pickup seat, your victory in November, and it's that important to the country.
Thank you, sir.
Hey, thank you.
And tell everyone to go to teamherschel.com and let's go volunteer, donate, whatever you can do, contribute to my campaign, because we're going to win this seat and get this country back together.
All right, Herschel Walker, Georgia.
Thank you.
800-941-SEAN if you want to be a part of the program.
Quick break, right back.
One thing you can always count on.
Sean Annity is back on the radio.
All right, 25 now till the top of the hour, 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Well, if you look at California has the number one, is number one in gun control laws, number one in active shooter incidents.
Hmm.
I guess that goes into John Lott's premise of his book, supported by a lot of statistics and data, which is more guns, less crime.
What will you do as a law-abiding citizen?
When the CDC points out 2.5 million people annually defend themselves with a firearm from being harmed, that's an awful lot of people.
But I know Democrats don't ever want to talk about that aspect of this debate ever.
And what, we had 54 shootings, 11 people killed, seven separate mass shootings this weekend.
How much of this do you think might be tied to the horrific policies of defund, dismantle, and no bail laws?
54 injured, 11 killed, seven separate mass shootings.
If you look at the major cities that saw unprecedented murder spike hikes in the U.S., oh, Seattle.
Well, we know what's been going on in Seattle and then New Orleans and Atlanta and Chicago and Boston and Portland and Houston and New York and San Francisco and Los Angeles, Washington, D.C.
I mean, through the roof.
Why is this happening?
One story you won't ever hear from the media mob.
I'll tell you about it.
This is in West Virginia, a real story that they don't think you need to know about.
You have an armed female civilian foiled a mass shooting in Charleston, West Virginia.
Linda, did you hear about that story?
You're pretty well informed.
I'm guessing you might not have because it's not been widely reported.
I have not heard about it.
Okay, so with mass shootings dominating the headlines, you would think at this time that a story like that would be kind of relevant.
And why is Joe Biden about to give, you know, he gave Vladimir Putin Nord Stream 2 and a waiver there.
Now they want to relax China's tariffs.
Why?
Now, I don't know.
Maybe the suspicious mind inside of me says, well, let's see, where did zero experience Hunter do a lot of business?
Ukraine, okay, quid pro quo.
You're not getting a billion unless you fire the prosecutor investigating my zero-experienced son.
We know that one.
Then, of course, Vladimir Putin, and we have the former first lady of Moscow and the Russian oligarch, $3.5 million to Hunter's company.
Then you got the $1.5 billion deal with the Bank of China.
Then you got the $100,000 Chinese national shopping spree for Hunter and his family.
Not sure if he reported any of this on his taxes.
And then the other deals that he made in China.
I mean, it's unbelievable.
If it was a Trump, if the last name were Trump, do you think that the media would ignore the connection?
I don't know.
I think Joe's actions might indicate an investigation is warranted into whether or not the Biden family syndicate is compromised, meaning Joe Biden, as he compromised as president.
Another example of dual justice in America and where we don't have equal justice or application of our laws.
You know, so the FBI director Christopher Wray was up on Capitol Hill assuring Congress that he'd implemented more than 40 reforms that would make it impossible for the Democratic Party to continue to use agents as their personal political enforcers.
He said that.
Well, so they have former Trump advisor, we've interviewed him before, Peter Navarro, was literally at the airport about to board a flight, and they put him in handcuffs and leg irons, arresting him because he's being held in contempt of Congress.
Now, remember, that's like the Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, guns blazing, pre-dawn raids.
In the case of Roger Stone, you know, fake news, CNN cameras capturing every minute of this.
They just happened to be there.
I'm sure they weren't tipped off.
They just happened to be there.
Now, on something as frankly minor as this, usually the way the process works is you call the attorney representing the person that you want to be arrested, saying you're going to be prosecuted for contempt of Congress.
Report by 8 a.m.
That's how it's usually done.
Unless, of course, you want to put on a show and you want to maximize the publicity and embarrassment of one particular individual.
That's the only reason that they did this.
And I wouldn't support Republicans doing this either for the record.
All right, let's stay in Georgia.
Wally, Sean Hannity Show.
What's going on, Wally?
How are you, sir?
Yes, I was calling in to talk about the gas prices.
I took a new job last year traveling around doing insurance claims on roofs.
And it was going to be a good thing for our family.
I allowed my wife to try to get her master's degree.
And with gas prices right now, the company I work for, they pay for our rooms, but they don't pay for our gas.
And if it stays like this, and I know it's going to get worse, I mean, I'm looking at spending almost $32,000 in gas this year, which is your company not compensating you for the 129% increase in gas prices since Joe became president?
No, no, our pay per claim has stayed the same, but they don't compensate us.
We don't get a daily stipend or anything like that.
It's just we pay for our gas.
We expense everything.
We ride it off.
But I mean, going from $10,000 to $13,000 to almost $32,000 in gas, I mean, I could be putting that extra money in my kids' college fund.
I could be paying off some bills, you know, saving it.
And it's just really hard.
We've talked to them about maybe adding some type of fuel surcharge per claim to kind of help us out a little bit, but I doubt that's going to happen.
Look, I'm not one.
I would not take another job until you get the offer or a better job.
For example, I know a lot of people, we have a lot of truckers call this program, and they are charging more because they're paying so much more to fill up their 18-wheelers for diesel.
So they're charging more per load to compensate.
You shouldn't be making less money.
Have you approached your company and said, guys, I'm making 30% less of what I was making last year because of the high price of gasoline?
Can you help me out in some way here?
There's got to be a way.
Yeah, I mean, a lot of the guys have voiced their opinions.
They're going to lose good guys, man.
I mean, there's a lot.
I work with a lot of really amazing people, and they've already lost some.
I know they're going to lose more.
I mean, the thing is, too, like you said, is like, you know, they're not losing any money.
We are losing the money because it's our expense.
So, you know, we've talked to them, like I said, about doing this fuel surcharge and only because everyone else in this world has raised their prices on everything, including insurance premiums.
So it's like, why are we not doing it because everybody else is doing it?
If they're not going to be willing to compensate and you're taking such a dramatic reduction in your salary as a result of this and you're eating all of this, I think the first thing I would do, just my humble advice, is I'd be looking for another job.
Maybe, I'll tell you, there's a shortage I read in the last month or so of about 80,000 truckers in the country.
I don't know if you'd have the ability to maybe go back to school and learn how to drive a truck or if you have any interest in it.
Maybe something to consider.
But I would find a company that at least, if you're going to spend all this time on the road and you're good at your job, there's got to be another company that probably would be glad to have an experienced person that they'd be willing to hire to go look at these claims, et cetera.
And I hope you can work it out.
I do have a question.
How many times do you run into a situation where you're suspicious that people are making phony claims?
I mean, definitely I would say probably 15, 15% of the time, 15%, 20% of the time.
And how obvious they make the same claim.
It's like I went to a house as the adjuster.
Hey, what's going on?
They're like, nothing's going on.
We're not going to do anything.
We literally paid these people a year ago to put a brand new roof on their house.
And do you see a new roof on their house?
No, you don't.
I just don't understand the audacity because when those people steal from insurance companies, which is what you'd be describing, and higher premiums for everybody else, we end up paying that.
I always say corporations don't pay taxes.
Listen, Wally, you're in our prayers.
Think about plan B. Is my best advice to you?
Try and sit down with them.
Maybe get all the other drivers and appraisers together and go in there as a team and say, guys, here's how much we're paying for gas.
We can't afford it.
And maybe there's strength in numbers there, okay?
Yes, sir.
Thank you very much.
All right, buddy.
God bless you.
Tammy's in South Carolina.
Hey, Tammy, how are you?
Glad you called.
I'm good, Sean.
How are you?
I'm good.
What's going on?
I just wanted to talk about how farming costs are going to impact everyone.
Are you a farmer?
I mean, everyone.
I'm a small farmer.
Not a huge farmer.
Describe what a small farmer is.
How many acres?
What do you farm?
We just have 11 acres and we just farm what we, you know, what we eat and we sell some of it.
We raise animals and what we're seeing, what our little farm is seeing, is two years ago, a 50-pound bag of 10, 10, 10 fertilizer costs $7 and some change.
It has steadily gone up.
Like 10, 10, 10 is the lowest concentration of fertilizers that there is.
The higher concentration, the more you pay.
We now pay like $20, $20 to $24 a bag for fertilizer.
How many bags do you need for 11 acres?
We usually buy about 10 or 20 bags.
Is it getting to the point where maybe it's not even worth it, considering the amount of backbreaking work it takes to farm even 11 acres?
That's what everybody asks us, Sean.
But here's another example.
Our neighbor that lives just up the road from us, he sells hay.
He farms hay.
He's farmed hay all of his life.
And last year, his fertilizer cost him $450 a ton in the fall.
This spring, it cost him $1,187 a ton.
Now, can he get that money back on the other end?
In other words, when he sells it, does he get to charge more?
He'll have to charge more.
He has no choice.
I mean, there's no choice.
Otherwise, nobody's going to farm.
I mean, I've been having, first of all, I'm really honored that all these farmers and truckers and all these cool people listen to the show because you're the backbone of our society.
Now, granted, you don't run a big farm, but still, it's important work that, you know, we take it for granted.
Those of us, you know, I grew up in New York.
I'm used to walking into the grocery store and it's full to the brim and you get anything you want anytime you want.
And now I see a lot of changes and a lot of cost increases with everything that I buy when I go shopping every week.
But it's just, it's so painful to hear this because we're such a better country than this.
We are.
See, we were selling eggs too.
If you go to Walmart and buy like the two 18 packs, it's like almost 12 bucks.
And, you know, we can't sell our eggs cheaper because we have to pay for chicken feed.
Chicken feed is so expensive now.
Even if you go to the, you know, the cheapest brand they have, and that's what we've done.
And seed, people don't think about this either.
The seed to plant is outrageous when you can find it.
And what?
What you're describing, Tammy.
Yeah, go ahead.
What did you say?
And, you know, we try to save some of the surplus of our seeds because we use heirloom, but not everybody can do that.
And this is another example.
We had a surplus of some seeds from last year, but we had to buy corn this year.
And a G9 sweet corn, a pound and a half of that was $20, which we were paying like back years ago, like $1.79 for a bag of corn.
It's just, it's just sad.
What people don't understand is that the cost of farmers have to pay for their diesel, their fertilizer, their seed, their hay, their feed for animals is getting higher every day.
And like you said, when we can't afford it, who's going to feed you?
People need to wake up.
People are not listening.
That's the reason I call.
Well, I can tell you, people are waking up because we're seeing it every day.
It's slapping us on the side of our head every day.
And it's, in other words, when I go to the grocery store, I mean, I see it every week.
You know, the average price of a gallon of gasoline today is $4.86 a gallon.
Under Donald Trump, the day that Joe Biden became president, the national average was $2.39.
We see it when we fill up our gas tanks.
We see it when we get our heating and cooling bills.
We see it when we go to any store we shop at.
We're paying more for every item we buy at every store we go to.
So Americans are seeing it left and right.
That's why the Democrats thinking that they can distract with either January 6th or new gun laws and taking away Second Amendment rights, or they think, you know, Roe v.
Wade will be the big game changer.
And soon thereafter, people will find out abortion is still legal in America and every state will decide.
They're going to realize it's going to come down to the economy.
It's the economy stupid and people cannot survive this way.
All of this was preventable.
All of it's fixable.
But thank you for what you do, Tammy.
God bless you.
And I hope you're able to, you know, plow through this, no pun intended, and get to the other side of it and get, you know, get prices back to normal.
It's unbelievable.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean is our number.
