Time Text
This is an iHeart Podcast.
America is a nation that can be defined in a single word.
I was in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping.
The U.S. government economic team feels is that the economy has a very strong basis.
Our recovery has been incredibly strong on most measures.
You can run the best campaign.
You can even become the nominee.
And you can have the election stolen from you.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to Revolution.
Yeah, we're coming, don't you shout?
Sean Hannity.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
This is a special edition of the Sean Hannity Show.
America trapped behind enemy lines.
Day number 242.
Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup, information overload hour.
We'll get to a lot of your calls this hour.
800-941 Sean is our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, we have a lot of updates regarding Ukraine and the military assault and the unmitigated evil perpetrated by one Vladimir Putin and his Russian soldiers.
By the way, Ukraine was able to foil a Russian cyber attack.
Maybe they can teach America how to do it because this one was an attempt to shut down their energy grid.
Kharkiv now got hit very, very hard with 53 strikes in 24 hours.
That's not good.
A pro-Putin fugitive politician captured in a special operation, according to Ukraine.
There's still an investigation into some claims of a Russian chemical weapon attack.
Nobody's been able to confirm that.
We now have, by the way, as a result of all this, Sweden and Finland are applying for NATO membership.
I found that pretty interesting.
More of the horrors out of Busha.
There's a horrific article in the UK Daily Mail about how a woman was raped by Russian soldiers.
It's revealed 25 Busha women and girls were held in a basement and subjected to these sex attacks.
Nine are now pregnant, according to the Daily Mail.
More evidence of mass graves in Bushehr, just outside of Kyiv.
We know that Putin has now reconfigured his strategy and he's moving more to the east than he was before.
And we'll see what happens, but there seems to be no let up as it relates to the territorial ambitions of Vladimir Putin, regardless of what the world thinks.
On top of that, Russian soldiers at Chernobyl spent a month sleeping in a radioactive forest, exposed themselves to potentially dangerous levels of radiation.
We learned that from our friend Dan Hoffman, who joins us now, 30-year CIA ops officer, spent a lot of that time, knows Russia about as well as anybody in this entire country.
Welcome back, sir.
How are you?
Oh, hey, Sean, great to be on the program.
Let me play Joe from yesterday finally acknowledging, and I don't know if they've walked it back yet.
If they haven't, they probably will.
Calling the invasion of Putin into Ukraine genocide.
Yes, I called it genocide because it become clear and clear that Putin is just trying to wipe out the idea of even being able to be a Ukraine.
And the evidence is mounting.
It's different than it was last week.
The more evidence is coming out of literally the horrible things that the Russians have done in Ukraine.
And we're going to only learn more and more about the devastation.
And we'll let the lawyers decide internationally whether or not it qualifies.
But it sure seems that way to me.
Now, remember, it was the same Joe Biden that revealed, when you're in Ukraine, he was saying that to U.S. soldiers in Poland.
They had to walk that back.
Then they had to walk back the fact that he acknowledged that we're training soldiers in Ukraine.
That would not be something you'd want to advertise to the world.
Then, of course, not only did he call for regime change with Vladimir Putin, they walked that back and then he did it again.
So I don't think Joe knows that today's Wednesday.
Anyway, Dan Hoffman, what is your assessment?
It looks like now the new focus is back on eastern Ukraine and they're getting ready.
I know that President Zelensky believes that's the next line of attack.
Let me just first address the genocide comments because there's a real inconsistency there.
If the president is calling it genocide, even if that's just his opinion, then there is a moral and ethical responsibility on his part to deliver Ukraine all the military equipment that Ukraine wants to stop the genocide.
How many more times do we want to see maternity wards blown up?
Or how many more cities like Bucha, those atrocities that the Russians have to innocent Ukrainian civilians?
So we got to do more.
The administration apparently is not going to provide the MI-17 helicopters that they had planned to provide.
Ukraine needs more T-72 tanks.
As of yesterday, that was a done deal.
Now, all of a sudden, they were planning to send these MI-17 helicopters to Ukraine as part of the $750 million package.
Why did they reverse course?
Over to our Fox News colleague Peter Doocy to ask that at the next White House briefing, because I don't know if it's a question of the supply.
The Russians are saying that they're going to target kinetically any NATO provision of equipment inside Ukraine.
So maybe there's some concern about being able to deliver the equipment.
I have a hard time imagining that being the case.
But Ukraine just needs more.
We've got a little bit of a reprieve because it's very bad weather right now in Ukraine.
Lots of rain.
That will impede Russia's efforts to conduct offensive military operations in the Donbass.
But we got to move faster, and we're not moving fast enough.
You and I have the same analysis.
They're not moving fast enough.
There's not the sense of urgency that I think is needed to accomplish this mission.
And the mission goal should be to defeat Putin inside of Ukraine with not one American boot on the ground.
But it's not only the U.S. not showing the proper amount of urgency.
It's also NATO allies, and it's also Western European countries that they're just not stepping up to the level.
Zelensky could not have been more clear in his criticism of NATO, his criticism of the UN Security Council, his criticism of many countries that are not understanding what's going on on the ground in terms of atrocities.
And I'll use Joe's word, genocide.
And still, Western Europe is importing all the oil and gas that they need from Vladimir Putin and Russia, making them rich again.
So that's a major problem.
The Russians drove up the price of oil with the invasion.
And Germany is paying Russia roughly, Western Europe is paying roughly a billion dollars a day to Vladimir Putin's war machine so that they can carry on those attacks against Ukraine.
Whatever we think we're doing by sanctioning Russia, it's just not going to have any effect because of those oil exports, the hydrocarbons.
And by the way, they're also lying to us, too, because they claim that they put all of these stops on Russian transfers of money, but they carve out exceptions for energy, oil, and gas.
So it's meaningless.
It's a paper tiger.
There's no teeth in any of these sanctions.
Yeah, I mean, the sanctions are not doing what this administration said they might do.
And that really, again, that's just going to prolong the war.
When General Milley said that this war could go on for years, he's right because at this level of support to Ukraine and the fact that we're not really cratering Russia's economy like we should be, that's probably the accurate assessment on the battlefield.
But if that's the case and there's a genocide, how can you square those two things?
We've got to do more.
And we keep harping on this.
You've been harping on this.
We're in the second month of this war.
And it's still, you know, we still haven't done enough collectively, NATO members.
But the United States leads NATO, and we need to lead by example.
I have been surprised up to this point that Ukraine has been able to hold back these Russian forces being so outmanned and outgunned as they are.
We see the rubble in Mariupol and places like Butcha, but it's also pretty much all over the country, especially it looks like Putin surrounded the perimeter of the country and just devastated it.
He leveled entire neighborhoods.
He leveled apartment buildings, indiscriminate shooting.
You know, all these reports that as Russian soldiers were leaving Bucha, they just killed anybody and everybody in sight in cold blood on top of the rape allegations and other human atrocities.
It's just unbelievable how they're fighting this war.
It's not even strategic.
Right.
I'll tell you, one of the things I learned at the CIA from collecting intelligence on our adversaries and their military, military culture matters.
And Ukraine really swiveled in 2014.
There have been really massive efforts on the part of the United States and our Western allies to up the training of Ukrainian military.
And it shows they've got great tactics and they've got the will to fight, the capacity to fight, whereas the Russians flat out don't.
The Russians are fighting the way they always do.
You know, they'll bring massive firepower and brutalize civilians.
That's the way they've been doing it, you know, for 100 years or more, or more than that, you know, hundreds of years.
But for sure, that's what they did in Syria, what they did in Chechnya in this century.
And then if you go back in history, it's with the way they operate.
And we're seeing Ukraine win because of their superior military culture.
We hope we keep it up.
The only way they can win this war is if they get the weaponry from the rest of the world.
The world needs to pay very close attention to what's happening because if Putin is successful here, there's probably no end to his territorial ambitions.
It's best to stop him now.
Dan Hoffman, thank you so much, as always, for being with us.
We appreciate it.
Thanks, Sean.
Always a pleasure.
All right, quick break right back to the phones.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, your calls for the final half hour coming up straight ahead.
Government's got problems.
He's got solutions.
listens to The Sean Hannity Show.
Back to our busy phones now.
800-941-Sean is our number.
Michael is in California.
Michael, hi, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Sean, thank you for having me on your show.
I just wanted to touch base on the inflation rate that they keep talking about and throwing around in 7.9, 8.5%.
The wine industry right now, the small family wineries are getting crushed.
Do you run a winery?
Do you own a winery?
I do.
I own a winery out here in Central California.
I've been in the business many years, and we were paying 65 cents for a bottle of wine or an empty bottle glass under Trump.
That same bottle is $1.75 to $2, assuming that you get that bottle.
China controls the whole China glass.
It comes in here as they manipulate the market, and it's going to absolutely crush the little wine brands of the family.
You might be run out of business as a result of this?
Well, Sean, here's the thing.
We do this for passionate love, and we're going to lose a lot of family-run wineries.
We make a couple dollars a bottle on the wholesale level.
And, you know, two years ago, we were selling bottles of wine or $13.99 to $14.99 retail.
That bottle now sits on the shelf at $19.99.
Let me ask you a couple of questions.
So, what kind of, first of all, how big is your winery?
How many bottles of wine do you produce annually?
Well, this past year, we produced about 4,000, 5,000 cases, 12 bottles in a case.
Okay, so now here's what is the name of your winery?
What brands might people know or if they're interested?
I'm not the greatest wine connoisseur in the world.
I do like Napa wines.
I like Opus One.
I've tried.
I've tried Tama's Special Select.
That's a good wine.
But wine is not my drink of choice.
Well, we have Westerly wines been around 25 years.
My wife and I bought Westerly five years ago.
And then last year, I started a new brand called 13 Stripes Winery.
When they were ripping down statues and burning flags, I came out with this wine with a bottle with an American flag on a bottle of wine.
And then we donate to the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Folds of Honor.
Yeah, we're considered a small winery.
But again, the prices, the juice cost alone has doubled.
Labor's gone from $14 to $20 an hour.
I'm not even getting...
Let me tell you what I'd like to do.
I would...
I want your business to succeed.
And, you know, one of the things I tried to do during the pandemic, and I go to the same restaurants, same places all the time.
So everybody, I become friends with everybody.
And they, you know, become like family.
I've gone to some places as long as 20-plus years.
And when they were struggling during the pandemic, me and my friends, we'd look out for people that we know, love, and care for, which is just the right thing to do.
How about we get a link to your website and the wines you make and the fact that you're donating a portion of this back to great charities that we support and make people more aware of the wine?
And you're explaining why the price is going up.
Now, also, I have to assume shipping costs are higher because diesel prices are higher, and that means transportation costs are up.
Shipping wine is a nightmare right now.
To ship across the country, a pallet of wine is doubled.
And here's the best.
You mostly do reds, whites, both.
What do you do?
We're a majority red.
We do a couple whites, but there's not everything squeezing us in the wine industry, every aspect of it.
And again, I'm afraid we're going to lose a lot of small wine brands and wineries out here in California.
I got to tell you, I have had very expensive wine that I've been privileged to have at somebody's house and taste.
And then I've had a $20 bottle of wine like you produce.
And I'll be honest, I really don't see that much of a difference.
I'm not a sommonnier.
I'm just not that person.
But we're going to put you on hold.
We'll get your winery up.
We'll put it up on our website for a few days.
Hopefully, you know, for our audience that just loves wine, and I know many people really love it.
I have friends that are so passionate about it.
It's crazy.
And they'll be like, have you tried this?
And I'm like, no.
By the way, Rush Limbaugh used to be a real connoisseur of wine.
When he gets into something, he went all the way.
And I remember we had lunch.
Me, Mark Levin once had lunch with him.
It was like a 1961, is it called the Patrice?
Does that sound familiar?
That's the best wine in the world, the Patruse, correct.
All right.
So, Mark, it's a funny story, but anyway, that was a different wine.
That went down like water.
I don't know what, I didn't even, I would never ask.
I never looked up the price.
I'm sure it was very expensive.
Yeah, that's a $3,000, $4,000 bottle of wine right there that you drank.
Anyway, we miss our friend.
That was a fun day.
We had a wonderful day that day.
All right, my friends, stay on hold.
We'll take care of you.
800-941, Sean is a number.
We'll get to more of your calls.
Final half hour of the show coming up today.
I want to talk to you about something that's really serious.
Look, we see identity politics and people not identifying themselves as America first.
You know, we're now, you know, we're not the melting pot we once were.
Why do we, we're one country here, land of the free, home of the brave.
And unfortunately, we've got to get back to that.
I'm talking about citizenship.
And if we lose the idea of citizenship, then we don't have a country.
But there's something we can do, and that's get educated and then teach others.
And that's where my friends at Hillsdale College can show you the way.
Now, our friends at Hillsdale are offering a free course on American citizenship.
You'll learn about what's happening, why it's happening.
The course is being taught by our friend Victor Davis Hansen, who's just brilliant.
And Victor Davis Hansen will equip you with all the ways to help restore our country.
You can sign up for free, cost nothing.
We set up a special website, Seanforhillsdale.com, S-E-A-N-F-O-R Hillsdale.com.
You know, instead of watching, you know, some of these crappy series that are on television these days, it's definitely worth your time.
You're going to love it.
Sean4Hillsdale.com, S-E-A-N-F-O-R-Hillsdale.com.
Sean's got more behind-the-scenes information.
More contacts than anybody.
More friends behind the curtain.
Sean Hannity is on.
All right, 25 till the top of the hour, 800-941.
Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, there's a great piece on FoxNews.com the other day about, you know, this question with Humpty Dumpty really stumped him.
And I don't know who this kid was, but this kid, you know, and by the way, they're doing a forum on news and disinformation.
So this kid gets up, I want to play it for you, and just runs down all of fake news CNN's lies and just nails Humpty Dumpty.
He says, oh, isn't it time for lunch?
He knew he was being nailed and then just lied again in denying that CNN lies all the time.
Listen.
They pushed the Russian collusion hoax.
They pushed the Jussie Smollett hoax.
They smear Justice Kavanaugh as a rapist.
And they also smeared Nick Salmon as a white supremacist.
And yes, they dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop affair as pure Russian disinformation.
With mainstream corporate journalists becoming little more than apologists and cheerleaders for the regime, is it time to finally declare that the canon of journalistic ethics is dead or no longer operative?
All the mistakes of the mainstream media and CNN in particular seem to magically all go in one direction.
Are we expected to believe that this is all just some sort of random coincidence or is there something else behind it?
It's too bad.
It's time for lunch.
You have 30 seconds.
No, I mean, there's a clock that says 30 seconds.
But I think my honest answer to you, and I'll come over and talk in more detail after this, is that I think you're describing a different channel than the one that I watch.
But I understand that that is a popular right-wing narrative about CNN.
You know, but I can name, you know, just think of the three-year Russia collusion delusion lie.
Just think of, you know, poor Joe Rogan.
What did Joe Rogan say after he got COVID?
We threw everything at it.
That's what he and his doctor decided.
You know, monoclonal antibodies, HCQ, threw everything at it.
And instead of saying, gee, I'm glad it worked, Joe.
I'm glad you're okay.
You know, they go out, he used a horse dewormer.
That was not what he used as he threw everything at it.
Now, maybe you disagree with what Joe Rogan decided to do in conjunction with his own medical doctor.
I don't.
That's between him and his doctor.
Really none of our business.
The fact that he cared to share it, you know, is ridiculous.
Then, of course, he called out, you know, Dr. What's his name?
Gupta, the CNN medical so-called expert, and said, why did your network lie about me?
He should have sued him.
He probably would have won.
Then we got the, you know, S-hole, S-hole, S-hole, stormy, stormy, stormy.
It's just all fake news.
It's just unbelievable.
Let me just play the headline.
They had a cut at the beginning of this piece on FoxNews.com.
His attackers hurled racial and homophobic slurs.
The offenders uttered.
This is MAGA country.
Absolutely despicable.
It's been very confusing.
As Ryan was saying, people don't know what to believe.
And we may never really know what happened on the street that night in Chicago.
But when you have a horse deworming medication that's discouraged by the government.
Rogan telling his 13 million Instagram followers that he was treated with several drugs and he included ivermectin on the list, a drug used for livestock.
So Dr. Wynn, ivermectin, apparently given to deworm animals.
The situation came to a head when that young man there, wearing a Make America great again hat, got right in his face and didn't move.
Outrage over this now viral video showing high school teenagers harassing a Native American elder.
Another man of peace stands face to face with bigotry.
Does it surprise you at all that this information Rudy Giuliani is peddling very well could be connected to some sort of Russian government disinformation campaign?
I mean, for all we know, these emails are made up, or maybe some are real and others are fakes.
A dizzying 24 hours in the Russia investigation, no longer just inching toward the president.
This morning, it is more like Kareening.
The president sees the walls closing in and is lashing out.
This can't be dismissed as people out to get Donald J. Trump Jr.
or fake news.
This is evidence of willingness to commit collusion.
I mean, it's just never-ending lying.
And then, you know, Jesse Smollett, Nicholas Sandman, the Russia collusion, you know, Stormy, Stormy, Stormy.
I mean, all things Trump at all times.
They just don't care.
His attackers hurled racial and homophobic slurs, and now police say they're investigating this as a possible hate crime.
I mean, the circumstances is horrific.
This could be the last nail in the coffin.
Stormy Daniels is causing stormy weather.
Porn star Stormy Daniels claims President Trump broke the law, had her bullied.
Does Stormy Daniels have the president's number?
It sure seems that way.
President Trump might have met his match with Stormy Daniels.
How is Stormy weathering this?
Stormy speaks.
It's not clear what he meant by all countries.
I guess he's a polar.
Is there a difference if the president said holer house?
No American president has ever accepted the nomination of his party from the White House.
It was thought to be inappropriate, a violation perhaps even of the Hatch Act.
President Biden wakes up for the first time in the White House.
We're getting worried from officials about the staggering lack of a coronavirus vaccination plan left behind.
This morning we are told they have to start from scratch.
Golden showers thing about PP.
The golden showers thing.
P-tape of prostitutes that Trump had paid to urinate on each other and his bed in a Russian hotel suite.
What you're seeing in front of me is a peaceful situation.
In fact, it sort of looks like a street festival.
CNN has retracted a previous report from its investigative unit that claimed that Congress was investigating a Russian investment fund with ties to the Trump campaign.
CNN has said that the story did not go through the rigorous editorial process that it should have.
It relied on a single anonymous source.
They don't care and they get away with it.
The only thing that, well, in a way, they really don't.
Because I see the ratings every day and they are atrocious.
I couldn't continue in television if nobody watched me like that.
I really, if you fire me, I will gracefully just, you know, step off the stage.
By the way, Linda, you hear that, right?
He says he'll leave if we stop watching the left.
I wish that, I mean, I'm begging him, please.
It's absolutely painful to watch him.
And he doesn't, I mean, the man offers nothing in that show.
They had CNBC put an article out yesterday.
They're trying to lure their viewers in, the headline says, because they're drawing under 10,000 daily users.
Oh, that's the CNN Plus thing.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
I mean, and they spent three, I think it was $300 million on this thing.
Yeah.
And you can't get 10,000 people to sign up.
And I'll tell you, the reason is everybody knows it's fake news.
When you have to pay airports and schools to take your feed and indoctrinate people who are a captive audience, like you're in an airport, the airports actually canceled their contract.
I think 2021 was the last one.
They didn't carry it into 22.
But literally, you're in the airport.
You got to know where to go, right?
So then you stuck watching fake news.
Okay, fine.
But then they were doing this.
I pull out a book or I go buy a magazine.
Oh, my God, exactly.
But you're looking at what happens in the schools.
They got these poor kids trapped in the classroom and they have to watch between one to five minutes of CNN in the classroom.
It's called the Classroom Daily or some nonsense like that.
And I, I mean, I called my school.
I said, uh-uh.
No.
No, no, no, no, no.
If you're showing that in the classroom, my son.
Watch out when Tiger Mom calls.
Oh, forget about it.
I'm not happy.
Forget about it.
Let's say hi to Michelle in California.
Michelle, how are you?
Hi, Sean.
Thanks for taking my call.
Thank you.
I had to kind of chuckle, but not in a humorous way.
You had done some terrific discussion the other day about petroleum and Joe Biden wanting to eliminate fossil fuel and so forth.
I thought, you know, I'm no science expert or whatever, but if we all drive Teslas, are our tires going to be like Fred Flintstone tires or made out of tofu?
I mean, I have to sit here and shake my head.
I literally went on.
How do you charge the batteries?
Where does that energy come from?
Well, they're probably telling kids it comes from unicorns and Santa Claus.
You know, I don't know.
You're on your e-game, Michelle.
They just haven't thought it through.
You know, it's sort of like, go ahead.
No, what I wanted to say was, and what really got me, and I went to the local PBS affiliate website in Los Angeles.
And I don't live in Los Angeles, but that would be even worse.
But I mean, on the KCET, which is the local PBS, solar panels, is this an irony or what?
Solar panels are made with petroleum per case.
There's petroleum usage for everything that's plastic.
I mean, you can't build a tall building in New York if Kathy Hochl, the governor, has her way.
By the way, the lieutenant governor, he had to resign after he got indicted.
Another New York politician in Albany getting indicted.
It's just, it's all insane.
They haven't thought it through.
But here's the problem.
It's okay.
Somehow, they have figured out it's okay to import, to reject the pipeline, Keystone XL pipeline that would give us Canadian oil 900,000 barrels a day.
They stopped that.
The Alberta premier said we'd be able to send 900,000 barrels a day if you would have finished it.
It would have been done.
But they're willing to make a deal with Iran, and then they're willing to make a deal with Venezuela.
And even though OPEC keeps rejecting them, they keep pleading with OPEC to increase production.
And we have all the natural resources we could ever want or need for the next 200 years right here in this country.
Tell me how that makes any sense or tell me how it makes any difference to the earth if you get a barrel of oil from the Middle East, Venezuela, Iran, Russia, or the U.S. There's no difference.
It's the lifeblood of the world's economy, and they're trying to inflict this pain because they think that's going to somehow motivate Americans to move to green energy, which does not exist.
We don't have what they say that they have.
Look, I think I've read a lot of good reports about Tesla and Elon Musk.
I think he's a great innovator.
He's a pretty fascinating guy to me.
And I want him to do well.
I want other people to come up with alternative sources of energy.
But the truth, the reality, where we are now is we're not there.
And until we get there, anything short of the lifeblood of the world's economy is just a dumb idea.
Anyway, we'll leave it there.
Michelle, you get an A-plus today.
Great call.
Thank you.
Chris is in Texas.
Chris, hi.
How are you?
Glad you called.
Hi, I'm good, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
I'm calling about the Title 42 and lifting it.
It's been our only defense here in the Houston area, you know, really for the last year or two.
And what I'm saying is that if he wants to pull the Title 42, what is with the mask up in New York that the kids are still in masks?
You know, if you're going to lift COVID, lift it nationwide.
It's just ridiculous.
It's hypocrisy.
Yeah, listen, I'm going to tell you something.
They need to lift all mandates.
Now, Title 42, for those that don't know, those are the pandemic restrictions put in place by the Trump administration.
The pandemic is still ongoing.
The latest strain is here.
The latest variant is here, BA2, which is Omicron.
We put up on our website, you know, questions that you can ask your doctor if, in fact, you test positive.
Now, there is some good news is you've got six, I'm sorry, five Democratic senators have joined Republicans to back a bill that will prevent Biden from lifting Title 42.
I know it's an election year conversion for a senator like Mark Kelly.
I think Senator Kristen Sinema is real.
I think that Joe Manchin is real.
John Tester and Senator Hassan are real.
Then I listened to Beto O'Rourke Bozo blasting Biden for the plan to end Title 42.
That is just an election year conversion.
This is the guy that said, hell yeah, we're coming for your guns that now sounds like the most pro-gun Senate candidate in the entire country.
It's all a lie.
The best scene, and we'll show you tonight on Hannity, are these Texas buses.
They're now dropping off Biden's illegal immigrants at the U.S. Capitol.
So I think there's momentum to stop it.
I think some Democrats, very nervous about the upcoming elections, are experiencing this magical last-minute conversion on the issues.
But don't fall for it because as soon as they're reelected, if they're re-elected, they'll go right back to being who they are.
And it's sad, but it's pretty predictable too.
I'll give you the last word.
The other question I had is, is, you know, the Supreme Court mandated that he follow Remain in Mexico.
What's going on with that?
Why aren't we pushing for that to be reinstated when he's supposed to be reinstating it?
