This is a special edition of the Sean Hannity Show.
America trapped behind enemy lines.
Day number 242.
Day number 242.
All right, Leonard Skinner's simple man, that can only mean one thing on this radio program, and that's all things simple man, Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly of Bill O'Reilly.com.
It's been a while since he's been on the program because apparently Mr. O'Reilly has months and months of vacation that he takes every year.
Um what is Bill O'Reilly, the simple man do on a vacation?
Because a little birdie tipped me off, and apparently you've been posting pictures of yourself in some weird outfit, and apparently you do some deep water diving or something or other out of spear fishing.
What are you doing down there?
All right, number one, Hannity, I run my own corporation, so I think I'm off.
I'm not a a slave to management like some people I know.
Number two, that's cold.
That is cold.
Little birdies, uh Hannity, you got you got little birds flying around you now.
What what is but you want to laugh?
I get all this vacation time.
Yeah.
Part of my deal.
I don't think there's been one single year I've ever taken half of it.
And that thank God.
We don't want you out on the loose.
All right.
We we want you confined.
Uh I can never imagine.
Uh I'm trying so explain what it is you do on vacation.
That's all that is a simple question.
Um they're nice islands, they're not in the Caribbean.
People think they are, but they're a little bad into the ocean.
And uh down in Turk's Cakos, we hired dive boats to take us out uh and show us the underwater life.
Most of it was snorkel, but I did a little snoobah.
I went down.
That's a picture you saw in the weird outfit.
That is a I outfit, Hannity.
That's when you go underwater.
But here's the big headline.
So I'm in the daibo with my guys, and we had about 20 guys go on this trip.
We do it every two years called a Men of Adventure Trip.
You've been invited, but since you're not of a man adventure trip.
I got invited once like last minute, like as an afterthought.
But go ahead.
Yeah, we don't want to have to put like a life preserver on you.
You gotta be a man of it, man.
You gotta be a so we're out.
I want to get seasick and I think I'm gonna get claustrophobic under that water.
Go ahead.
We're going to a reef, all right?
And all of a sudden, the guy driving the dive boat, we hired him, of course.
He sees dolphins.
And the dolphins are jumping up and down.
Stop we stop the dive boat, we jump into the water with the dolphins, okay?
And they're cute and there's baby dolphins and all that.
Guess whose front yard we were in?
Who?
Oprah.
Really?
I didn't even know it.
This is Big Lavish House on the beach.
Okay.
We're about 30, 40 yards off the shore.
Um with the dolphins.
And I get back up, and the guy goes, You know his house is?
I go, no, it's not mine.
I know that.
I'd like it to be.
Oprah.
And so we're waving, but I didn't see her.
I don't think she was there.
I wonder if she would have she would have come out to say, Hi Bill, why don't you come in for a drink?
Let's talk.
What are the odds for that, Annie?
Uh zero.
Um not happening ever in your lifetime or mine, but uh whatever.
I actually I I think Oprah's an interesting woman, actually, in many many ways.
I've if I had one word to describe her, one adjective, I would say she is a search, seeking she's a searcher.
Or as two words, seeking person.
She really seems curious to me about life and issues.
Oprah Winfrey is the best example of what an extraordinary country America is.
Had a horrible childhood, which I feel bad for her.
That's right.
And was able to overcome it and become, you know, the look the the the top TV television person in the world.
For crying out loud.
Not only that.
If I were if I ever go back into the classroom and teach history, which of course I did, uh, but if I do it again, she is going to be my model for why America's great.
She overcame her terrible upbringing, number one.
Number two, she's a minority.
All right.
Number three, she was very heavy.
And you know, she was not only a minority, but she had a weight problem.
Number four, after she succeeded on her own talent, no one helped her.
Okay, did it on her own, as you did and I did.
Okay.
She then turned and used the capitalistic system to become a tremendously wealthy individual, and that in turn allowed her to give millions of dollars to worthy causes.
I have read she's extraordinarily philanthropic and generous.
Uh the people that work for her that I I have talked to loved working for her, and I've never heard a bad word about her, which in our business is like impossible.
Well, I was on a program a couple of times.
She treated me respectfully.
Um but I never got that invite.
I wish that people would uh acknowledge that you know, the people who hate America and the victimization crew and all of that.
This Oprah Winfrey individual, American, just counters all of that.
All right, let's go back to the fish and the dolphins, and how deep did you go when you went down deep?
Twenty feet.
Okay.
I know there's something called the bends, which could be extraordinarily, you know, painful if you get them.
There's a certain process by which if you descend deeper than that, yeah, you have to go up it in increments.
Am I wrong?
If you want to scuba dive, you have to take courses.
You get a path.
I don't want to scuba dive.
I don't want to fly a plane either.
And the fish don't want you down there.
No, they don't, because if I see one, I'm gonna spear it and take it up and cut it.
I know, you're a killer.
Look, diving is a tremendous experience, but you gotta know what you're doing.
You can clear your sinuses, you can clear your head.
There are techniques and way to do it.
I don't go down deep anymore because there's no reason to.
I'm not looking for the Titanic, okay.
I just want to see nice fish.
I saw a big turtle.
I followed the turtle.
The turtle goes, Why are you following me?
I said, Because you're a turtle.
And then we sang happy together.
The tortoise and O'Reilly.
Yeah, we have a new we have a new child book uh coming out, the killing series, O'Reilly Kills the Tortoise.
I just love it underwater because it's so relaxing, nobody can get to you.
It's a You know what's amazing though?
I read once, and I don't remember the exact number, but the number of fish in the sea far outnumber the number of human beings on Earth.
And then you look at the detail, a very good close friend of mine has the single best aquarium I've ever seen, and the amount of work that goes into this thing is unbelievable.
It's it's science on a level you can't even comprehend.
And I look at these fish in the detail, and to be honest, if it just it reminds me of God's you know, majesty because every fish the colors, the brightness, the beauty, the the unbelievable detail, and and you know, for people that don't believe in God, I don't understand how you can see something as as spectacularly beautiful as That and not believe there's a God.
Well, they don't want to believe.
People believe what they want to believe and what they don't want to believe.
I'm not proselytizing, Bill.
I'm I'm the center guy.
And the world is coordinated, the world works.
None of them have subscriptions to cable TV, which is good for them.
And they flung her around.
Um it was by the way, Bill, if I could get them subscriptions, I'd get it.
I'll take as many eyeballs as I can get.
I know.
Um so this was funny because after the Dolphin deal, we went to another uh place, um, and Turks Kate goes to my money is the second best water for clarity and beauty and warmth in the best Tahiti, the Society Islands with the blue coral.
Man, you are a world traveler.
I'm like a world worker, but go ahead.
So anyway, um, we're zipping into another one and we f come across this great reef and we jump in and there's a reef shark.
A fairly big one, about ten feet, and everybody got out but me.
Everybody's a bolt, let's get out of here.
But the reef rock won't hurt you.
Okay.
It's not an aggressive shark.
And I know the difference between a bull shark, which will bite your toes off, and a reef shark, which is just gonna look at you and go hi.
So I follow this reef shark, and we got great pictures, and those are some of the pictures that you saw.
But if you respect the nature underwater, uh it will leave you alone most of the time.
But you you do make a good point that this world is miraculous, and there's no way all of this could come from not a design.
And I mean it's it's had to be designed by someone or some entity, and it and it was.
You could start with the smallest fish with the most beautiful incredible colors and go all the way through universes within universes within universes.
I don't think in this life we are, and this is holy week, so it's a good time to talk about it.
Right.
I don't think in this life we are meant to uh understand or fully comprehend God's great majesty.
Um except these things to me point in that direction completely.
I have zero doubt in my heart at all.
And um in that sense, if you go watch life after death programs or or 90 minutes in heaven or heaven is real, um, all these you know stories of people that you know died and experienced uh a glimpse of heaven, uh what they describe as heaven, I believe all that's real too.
I hope it's there, you know, and you're right.
We can't understand.
You know it's there.
I can't understand CNN.
I don't I can't understand it.
All right.
All right.
Quick break.
More with simple man Bill O'Reilly.
All things O'Reilly.
Bill O'Reilly dot com.
800-941-SHAWN.
Our calls when we continue.
More with Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly Simple Man, Bill O'Reilly.com.
I'm in awe of the fact that you've traveled the world so much, and something that maybe one day I'll do, probably not, but uh it's a nice thought.
But then you have this incredible evil unfolding in our lifetime, Bill, and it it bothers me to no end that the world is lacking the urgency, the evidence of real terror,
murder, mass graves, rapes, death, cities just evaporating and and then turned into rubble, and there's not the urgency to get the weaponry to the Ukrainians to win this war against Putin, and there are still Western European countries buying his energy.
It pisses me off.
Well, people look away.
We live in a look away society, a look away world.
Look at Modi in India.
Uh Modi knows what's right and wrong.
I mean, India has been one of the most exploited, violent countries on the face of the earth.
And if it wasn't for the United States, uh India would be involved in a war now with Pakistan.
So Modi should be right on board helping the world strangle Putin, but he's not.
And uh China, obviously, we know.
Um, and then when the vote came in the UN Council to expel Russia from the Human Rights Commission.
Can you believe it was even on the Human Rights Commission in the United States?
Yeah, Bill, that's been going on for decades.
Iraq and Syria and Iran.
Twenty-eight countries voted against expelling Putin from the Human Rights Commission.
You're useless.
Right.
And so I say I say to people, look, you can only take logic so far.
You can only take decency so far.
You've got to accept in this world there is a strong component of evil.
And if every one of us uh everyone listening to us today thinks back in their life, you know you have encountered evil.
And evil you cannot reason with.
Because evil is only in business to harm.
So with a guy like Putin, you would think, you know, you sit him down, you say, look, this is bad for the world, it's bad for you personally, it's bad for your country.
There's no way that you should be doing this, so let's find a way out.
They're willing to fight for their country.
You know, it's interesting.
I I make the contention, and I did this what in 2004.
I wrote a book, Deliver Us from Evil, Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism, because first you have to win, you have to get rid of those, you know, unilateral disarmament crowd people that are just don't want to understand evil.
But I think it's very hard for good people to wrap their minds around evil.
But the last century, Mao, China, Stalin, Russia, communism, socialism, uh uh Nazism, Imperial Japan, fascism, a hundred million plus souls dead, Bill.
And it can in history, you're a historian.
It repeats itself, doesn't it?
Sure, it does.
I mean, we saw it yesterday in New York City where this guy goes in and he starts to fire at people on the subway.
He's an evil guy.
He doesn't care about it.
They got him, by the way, thank God.
Yeah, he doesn't care.
He wants to bring people down.
You know, you wrote that book, and I remember that book, Deliver us from Evil.
And my book, Killing the Killers, The Secret War Against Terrorists, comes out in less than three weeks.
Your book and my book have something in common, although mine is more about the actual fighting, the war that's being fought.
And I hope you look at it, Hannity, because I want to have a good discussion with you about it.
Just look at it.
Oh, Riley, I've read every one of these books that I've interviewed you on.
I take the time to do my work.
And I'm gonna read Killing the Killers, the latest in your killing series, and then I think the next one up is after that is killing Hannity.
I'm worried about that.
We got that down, but it not you'll be surprised by the next one.
But the but the thing is that evil, you're absolutely right.
You're absolutely correct.
You have to confront it.
You can't look away.
Because if you look away, it makes evil stronger.
You have to confront it.
And and this is a message.
A lot of people don't want to do that.
It's too hard.
I don't want to do it.
I don't want to get involved.
I don't know.
Look, in a sane society, we would have turned this crime, violent crime thing around three years ago.
But so when you're talking about the case.
Well, Riley, I'm gonna have to let you go because we're just out of time.
Um, Mr. O'Reilly, sir, thank you for being with us.
We appreciate it.
Glad you had a good vacation.
And maybe one day I'll uh I'll I'll head out on a trip if I get a real invitation.
I didn't get a real invitation yet.
Uh BillO'Reilly.com for all things O'Reilly, Simple Man, 800 941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, quick break right back.
Your calls on the other side, straight ahead.
Music.
Continuing the mission of saving America.
As we return to the Sean Hannity Show.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
800 941 Sean.
If you want to join us, as I mentioned at the top of the show today, the Brooklyn shooting suspect in this New York City subway incident.
His name is Frank James, has been taken into custody.
Um, what's been fascinating, we see this happen a lot, is that people telegraph where they're headed in their social media posts, and should police and law enforcement monitor for extremism, threats of violence on social media.
Yeah, I think that's fine.
As long as they don't do it based on some political agenda.
Anyway, these are some of the rantings and ravings of this guy.
I've been through a lot of s where I could say I wanted to kill people.
I wanted to watch people die right in front of my fing face immediately.
But I thought about the fact that, hey man, I don't want to go to no fing prison.
We need to see more mass shootings.
Yeah, you need to not know.
We need to see more.
That's more mass shootings.
To make a understanding, you're going, you go, you go and guys not know it's not about the shooter.
Nope.
It's not about a shooter.
It's about the environment in which he is he actually exists.
Anyways, any surprise that you know all the signs were out there.
All the indications were out there.
We haven't gotten a hold of his full rap sheet.
I'd like to see if there is one.
Uh Kevin in Florida.
Kevin, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
Glad you called.
Good afternoon, Mr. Hannity.
How are you doing?
I'm good, sir.
How are you?
Thank you very much.
I'm doing good.
Uh, real quick, the word that uh Mr. O'Reilly was looking for is called val salva.
That is to clear your ears when you're scuba-tiving.
Since I've been into that too.
Oh, well, I've been diving since I had to get in the water to put the tank on because I physically couldn't pick it up.
My dad would have to lower it over and put it on my back.
It seems fascinating to me.
I I'm fascinated by my friend's aquarium.
I mean, it's I mean, it's probably wonderful.
Over a hundred grand, maybe more.
I mean, the fish uh when he buys these incredible rare fish, I mean, and he tells me the prices, I'm like, what?
You paid how much for a fish?
And and then there's a whole process of introducing the fish to the fish tank, and it doesn't always go well.
Um it's pretty amazing.
But I've I admire people like yourself that do it.
I do not have an appetite to do that, though.
I'm not sure I would do well underwater like that.
Uh, it's it's it's something you get used to.
Once you get down there, it's the wow factor to get you.
But yeah, no, I mean the majesty of it is clear.
I've I've been to enough big aquariums to just to get a glimpse into what it is you do and what you see.
Yeah.
Um, what I called about today is I want to offer up another point of view on communism that nobody has pointed out.
If you look at the history of communism, you go back to Karl Marx, you go to Lenin, you go to Stalin after that, Brezhnev, Gorbachev, and then Putin, and you go and look over the Kim Oons over in North Korea and Mao over in China.
What is the one thing they have in common?
Is that they all lived in lavish lifestyles.
They lived richly while the rest of their people that they ruled fought for scraps.
Now you take a look at the new Black Lives Matter.
What you've got is the new Black Lives Matter.
Talking about the group and their nearly six million dollar homes.
Yes.
Exactly.
They're doing the same thing that all the communist leaders did in the past.
And I hope these people that want to follow communism out there see this.
They're doing the same thing.
Communism is a poor man's game.
You know, it's going to be interesting when the when the financial statements, I assume at some point are going to be released, and where the again was separating out and extrapolating out people that chanted Black Lives Matter after George Floyd's killing that are not part of the group Black Lives Matter that's on tape chanting what do we want dead cops, when do we want them now?
and other things.
And it's going to be interesting how much maybe corporate America might have given to the group a...
And without any due diligence, obviously, because I don't think these corporations spend the time to vet uh who it is they're actually giving money to, and they they they think they just want to be part of this this woke movement, and they probably got caught up in it, but they should have done their due diligence.
They should have done known that group leaders uh have these the this history of incendiary and dangerous rhetoric, uh, but they don't.
Six million dollars is a a lot of money.
And you're right, and and I don't really you know, you can make the comparison.
It's like Vladimir Putin, I've read since this Ukrainian invasion is probably the second richest man in the world.
I never knew that before.
Now, I do know authoritarian leaders, you know, they usually rape and pillage the country, and when it's time for them to leave, if there's about to be a coup, they'll get asylum in a in a third country, and they'll fly in in a private jet, and it'll be filled with tons of cash, whatever their currency happens to be, precious metals, gold, silver, etc.
And and they'll they'll end their reign of terror and they'll move on to a life of luxury.
Now uh don't forget.
Yeah.
Don't forget that we have the leaders of Black Lives Matter, the new Black Lives Matter, the new group, on film saying they are trained Marxists and communists.
They are trained Marxists and communists.
People need to put two and two together on that.
I listen, the ideology's been clear.
Now people get to decide.
And I I do think it's important to separate the people that were outraged after George Floyd, as I was, versus the group.
And I think the group, and and maybe there needs to be, you know, a group of people that do not support the insane rhetoric of the group Black Lives Matter, or do not support in the case of liberal groups, defunding, dismantling, no bail laws, police, etc.
There's there's got to be some more common sense to this.
But anyway, Kevin, God bless you.
Thanks for checking in.
We appreciate you being with us.
Jim is next.
He's in the great state of Ohio.
Sir, how are you?
Uh do you listen to my buddy Billy Cunningham?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Sean Hannada, you're a great American.
God bless you.
God bless America.
Uh he's almost as great as you.
And I want a full report.
Is that not him or no?
That's exactly him, yeah.
What's going on, my friend?
I was listening to you yesterday, and you were endorsing candidates.
And I approve of all your endorsements.
I like the same guys you do.
But you didn't do anybody in Ohio.
So who I haven't decided in Ohio yet.
Now I'm looking.
There's a there's a number of good people.
I asked Cunningham the question who he likes, and I don't remember her name.
You're gonna have to help me out.
She's she used to run the Republican Party in Ohio.
He's very fond of her.
But he also had nice words to say about other candidates too.
And by the way, there are some candidates that are running that I'm not endorsing that are good people, but I'm looking for the person that is as America first that has convinced me that they're gonna fight for everything they say that they're gonna fight for.
Exactly.
I want to I want a Trump supporter.
I want somebody who's gonna be a good one.
Yeah, I'm I'm with I want to I want a Trump clone.
I want somebody that means what they say, say what they mean, and go fight and shake things up and you know, turn the bureaucracy inside and out.
And you know, I like this I I want the bureaucracy disrupted, and I want things accomplished.
I don't want the good old boy system.
Yeah, but we don't need any more Romnies and those types of there.
You when um I seen the commercial for JD Vance.
I saw the words come out of his mouth that he's a never Trumper.
Is that true?
I mean, I have not seen that video tape.
I don't know.
I do not know, but if he if that's true, um I know that played a part in and ads are running in Pennsylvania about that, but I've not seen it in Ohio.
And listen, to be honest, it's taken such a long time going state by state.
I am I've decided in Florida that's Rubio, I've decided um Herschel Walker in Georgia, North Carolina.
I know the president is going with with Judd.
I've had not I've not had time to speak to him.
I know McCrory is a two-time governor.
I've not decided in New Hampshire, but I have made inquiries into the Senate leader who seems to be very popular among Republicans up there.
That is a potential pickup seat.
I like Ron Johnson.
I'm supporting him.
I'm supporting Oz as I've told people.
You know, it's funny.
Well, some people said to me, when I'm when I first endorsed Trump and people like, you know, beaten the crap out of me every day, and he said this about abortion in this year, and he went, he donated to this Democrat, and he went to Hillary Clinton's daughter's wedding and all that.
I said, Yeah, that's all true.
But I spent enough time with him that he convinced me that he was that that that was not where his political ideology was lot what was that was not the foundation of who he was.
And he had evolved dramatically politically.
So I had to really be convinced in that case.
And I took a lot of heat and people, you know, beaten the crap out of me.
And I turned out to be right because I spent the time to really vet him.
And we spent hours on the phone talking.
You know, people I would ask, we talk about these issues late into the night.
I mean, one thing if if you are a night owl, uh you'll probably be my best friend, because I stay up till all hours of the morning.
Um I mean I'll tell you what, I'm gonna I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna bring Billy Cunningham on maybe in the next week or so, and we'll we'll get his take on it, and I'll by then have done a deeper dive, okay?
Okay.
Mike, I've heard Mike Gibbons is good.
Um, Mark Bukita, he's good.
Um JD Vance, I mean when those words came out of his mouth.
If they weren't true, I'd be fighting like like hell to to say they uh that's not what I said, but I haven't heard any any uh come back saying that that that's not true.
So I he kind of like uh that wrote me off for J D Vance.
I I used to like him, but uh so I'm I'm I'm looking for I'm looking for good for good people like you that that you're looking for.
So I am trying to find the best people that I can possibly find so that when Republicans win, they'll actually get things done.
It's one thing to win, but you gotta win and accomplish something.
You gotta really fight for your agenda.
Anyway, Jim, good call, my friend.
God bless you.
Love the people of Ohio.
Quick break, right back.
We'll get to more of your calls, 800-941 Sean or number.
You want to be a part of the program at the top of the next hour.
We'll get into the very latest out of Ukraine.
evidence of just unadulterated evil perpetrated by Vladimir Putin as we continue.
*music*
Roncasting coast to coast, border to border.
And all over America.
This is The Sean Hannity Show.
All right, thanks for our busy phones.
North Carolina, we love them too.
Patty's next.
Hey Patty, how are you?
I'm fine, darling.
Darling.
Oh, did you hear that, Linda?
I got called darling.
It's a good day.
It's a good day for me.
Very good day.
In this day and age, some people be offended.
I'm not offended at all.
Well, I'm a southern woman.
That's just how we are.
You're too kind, ma'am.
God bless you.
Um bless your excuse me, bless your heart.
How's that?
Well, no, bless your heart is kind of not exactly um a compliment.
Okay, I can't even get that right, Linda.
What's wrong with me?
I didn't mean it in a way that was not complimentary.
I know you didn't.
I'm gonna do it.
So you mean when you say, oh, bless your heart, meaning uh you're a jerk.
So is that what you're saying?
Not a jerk.
It just means you're a little late to the party.
All right.
I've got to get a little bit more.
Well, I've got to get I have something really important to say, so I hope I get a minute.
But um, when Trump Trump Trump, when Trump came down that elevator, he was my guy.
That was it.
I was done.
He was my guy.
And when the primaries were over and he was my candidate, I was over the moon.
I was so motivated.
I went, oh my God, we're gonna win.
And then all that commentary on the TV.
So I started yelling at the TV, and I'm yelling at the TV, and I sat down.
I said, I I can't just yell at the TV.
I'm a Republican and I have a responsibility, and I'm gonna go find out what I need to do.
So I went down to my local G O P, which I recommend everybody go and meet your folks down at your local GOP.
And I became a precinct chairman.
And um, one thing that we had to do is do I don't know how many thousands of um doorbacks with to hang with literature and uh and uh sample ballot and this and that.
So I'm knocking on all my friends' doors, my neighbors' doors, and I would bring them hundreds of copies, and they would find their friends and they'd have a nice party and drink some wine and they stuffed all these door hangers.
So when people with canvas, um, if somebody didn't come to the door, whatever, we left that door hanger on.
So I was the organizer at the early voting, one Of the early voting sites, which meant I was getting there at 6 a.m. to put up a tent, and I was there at 7 30 p.m. to take it down.
And I had staff it with all that early voting and spent lots of time there.
And what was so gratifying is so many people came through the parking lot and they had that sample ballot in their hand, which meant all that work that we went to paid off came to fruition.
Let me say this only because of the constraints of time.
I want people to understand exactly what you're saying here.
Is that you got great personal satisfaction rather than yelling at the TV uh and getting aggravated, you did something and you involved yourself.
Now, not everybody's going to be able to do that.
Maybe some people that they're just going to cut a check for a candidate that they like so that they can run a good campaign.
But whatever you can do, even if it's just show up and vote or vote by mail, whatever you're gonna do, just do it.
Because we're at that we are at an inflection point, a tipping point for the country, and I believe that with all my heart.
I've said it before in past elections.
I'm saying it for the next two elections.
It's real.
And we cannot continue down this path without causing irreparable harm to this great country.
Uh God bless you.
A great story, Patty.
Great call.
Call us back.
We'd love to hear from you again, and I hope others are inspired to follow your lead.
