Will Hurricane Helene Affect The Election In 35 DAYS? The StoneZONE w/ Roger Stone
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
The Stone Zone with legendary Republican strategist and political icon and pundit Roger Stone.
Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents.
He is a New York Times best-selling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump.
As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues, and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society.
Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone has become a pop culture icon.
And now, here's your host, Roger Stone!
Welcome, I'm Roger Stone, and yes, you are back in the Stone Zone.
Well, as I think every American Who's watching media knows Hurricane Helene has ripped through Florida, the Carolinas, and Tennessee as well as Georgia.
And we've begun to take a look at what the electoral impact of that hurricane will be.
In many cases, There are parts of states that they project will be without power or water or electricity for, it could be weeks, perhaps even up to election day.
To help us break this down, I'm going to call on my co-host, Troy Smith, the editor-in-chief of slingshot.news, who joins me now.
Stone Zone today.
And, you know, with your political experience of being a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns, I wanted to ask you right off the bat, you know, what is your observation, just a baseline here of the impact that this is going to have on the election?
Because as you just showed, large parts of North Carolina, which has been a state where the Democrats have focused a lot of their attention, are without power and will possibly be without power for weeks here, Roger.
Well, I saw an excellent analysis by Seth Ketchel, who's an analyst who I very much respect.
He points out that there are 29 of the 100 counties in North Carolina that are impacted.
Now, the most Republican counties, the most pro-Trump counties, would be Alexander, Allegheny, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Gaston, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Lincoln, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Surrey, Swain, Wilkes, and Yancey counties.
Uh, those are, those are deep crimson, uh, Republican counties, uh, that at this point are among the most hard hit.
Uh, there's also one other county, which is trending Republican or two actually Henderson County and Transylvania County.
Now, in the competitive areas, places where you would expect Harris to win would first and foremost be Buncombe, which is actually a Democrat stronghold.
That is Asheville, the largest city affected by the hurricane.
But also the county of Gaston, which has 128,000 voters.
It's also a Republican stronghold west of Charlotte.
Based on some calls we made, the western portion of the county was impacted more than the suburban, therefore the more Republican portion.
Then I would add Henderson, which is a Republican tier county south of Asheville, has 75,000 voters.
Lincoln County, which is a Republican county northwest of Charlotte, also the greatest damage in the western portion of the county, and Cleveland, yet another Republican county.
So, electoral speaking, it's to Harris' advantage if voting in these 29 counties was completely impossible to facilitate, even if it costs her some votes in Buncombe County, which is Asheville.
The only other county she would likely win within the 29 is Watauga, which is the site of Appalachian State University, but it's a relatively small county.
Those two counties stand to net her another 9,000 vote margin over Biden's 2020 numbers in projections put together by Seth Ketchel.
She's likely to gain less than 1,000 votes in Henderson or Transylvania, relatively small counties.
So if you add this all up in the 25 crimson counties in the operational picture, Trump stands to gain 56,000 votes on the election.
On the low end, perhaps as many as 75,000 votes, if mail ballot requests continue and if Democrat enthusiasm continues to be slow.
A couple things you can definitely count on here.
First, the Democrat Governor Roy Cooper and the Harris-Biden regime will be slow to roll out hurricane relief, if at all.
We're going to talk about that.
in a minute, particularly in those western red counties.
But it is also important to recognize that North Carolina is now a must win for Kamala Harris, given her weakness in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
And therefore, it is vitally important that these counties get up and running.
You'll recall, Troy, in the run-up to the 2022 election, Florida was hit with a horrific Cat 4 hurricane, and Governor DeSantis really did miracles in terms of getting The portion of the state that was knocked out of commission up and running, and by the time election day came, voting was back to its normal pattern.
No guarantee here that this is going to happen.
So this has to be watched very carefully.
Now, today's analysis is just North Carolina.
We have not yet done an analysis on Georgia, but we'll be looking to Seth Ketchum, again, a guy I have huge respect for, and his analysis on that very question.
Does not look to me like Joe Biden is going to be quick to give them any federal relief.
Well, and Roger, that's the case that we're seeing, you know, in these videos, uh, that we have pulled of Joe Biden.
So just on the tarmac, you know, getting ready to go on his airplane to God knows where.
Joe Biden was asked about the federal aid and if they would be providing additional resources because of this devastating hurricane that turned inland.
It really has messed up, as you saw in that graph there, a large part of North Carolina, Georgia, other parts of the middle of this country.
And he said flat out that there's not going to be any additional aid for these people.
And I want to get your thoughts on this, Roger.
Is this an electoral play?
Like you just stated, it seems like this hurricane primarily impacted crimson red Republican districts.
It would appear to me, though, that if they're trying to win North Carolina, that providing aid to these people may be an avenue for them to maybe get some more votes.
I want to hear your thoughts on this.
Let's roll the clip of Joe Biden.
Then go to Roger right after.
Do you have any words for the victims of this?
Yes, it's tragic.
As a matter of fact, we're trying to get the exact number.
My team advisor is on the ground in Florida right now.
There's a distinction between the numbers that BMEs use and the ones that are used by the locals.
So, it really is amazing.
You saw the photographs.
It's stunning.
It really is.
It's such a wide area.
We've given them everything that we have.
We're on the ground ahead of time, so we're working hard.
Are there any more resources the federal government could be giving them?
No, we've given them — we have preplanned a significant amount of it, even though they didn't ask for it yet.
Hadn't asked for it yet.
I'm not sure what that answer means.
I think he means no.
Perhaps they sent all the money to Ukraine.
Who knows?
But I also know you brought this to my attention.
We'll show it to you here.
Kamala Harris doesn't seem to want to answer questions about this.
Let's take a look at Kamala Harris.
We couldn't hear it, but there were reporters calling on her to comment but there were reporters calling on her to comment on the hurricane here.
As you could see, she didn't have time for it.
Look, I'm not convinced that Joe Biden wants Kamala Harris to win.
First of all, there was that death embrace that he gave her on The View, where he basically said, oh, no, she was in on every decision.
I fully authorized her to act in both foreign and domestic policy.
This is at a time that Kamala Harris is trying to put distance between herself and the Harris-Biden administration, as I call them.
And I said this on this show last week when Joe Biden put on a Trump hat, when he posed with a group of school children wearing Trump t-shirts.
Some people were saying, oh, look, he's around the bend.
He's crazy.
You know, I don't think he's quite crazy at all.
I think he knew exactly what he was doing.
I think he's unhappy.
Based on that interview on The View, I think he's unhappy that he was replaced on this ticket.
Uh, he was asked why he dropped out and he said, well, my poll numbers, I'm paraphrasing, my poll numbers, We're about the same as hers.
I mean, I thought I could have beaten the guy, meaning Trump, but some people in the party didn't agree with that.
So I think Joe Biden may withhold Hurricane money to ensure that she doesn't win North Carolina.
I'm really uncertain.
At this point, it is very important, also in Georgia, to get these counties up and running as soon as possible.
And that's not easy.
I mean, one of our own producers here on the Stone Zone lives just in the Florida part of where the hurricane hit.
His living room has got three feet of water in it.
The only food available is through FEMA.
There's no electricity.
We've actually told him to get in a car and start heading south.
So I think it's important to recognize that there's Many, many, many Americans tonight who have no food, no water, no place to sleep, no air conditioning, no electricity, no cell phone, no computer, certainly, we need to be praying for those people.
We need to be praying hard for them.
No leadership from Kamala Harris, none from Joe Biden.
President Trump has been out there talking about this all day.
I read that he gave $25 million personally to hurricane relief.
He addressed this in his remarks in Georgia today.
So a real juxtaposition for the American people between the Democrats and the Republicans.
Well, exactly, Roger, and we saw President Trump, you know, and it's such a distinction, too, because when the Democrats do this, we see this time and time again, whether, I think the best example probably is Pete Buttigieg when we had the bridge collapse in Pennsylvania, and he went up there with his designer boots on and really just made a joke out of himself and the entire Biden administration.
And then we look at President Trump today, and he's revered by the people of Georgia.
We've seen such a warm response from him.
We have actually clips of the people cheering for President Trump.
So let's just show him meeting on the ground with some people and the supporters greeting President Trump there in Valdosta, Georgia.
Let's show those clips and then get, we can actually include the clips of Trump speaking as well.
Roger, I want to get your thoughts because he actually showed up with Franklin Graham, of all people, the son of Reverend Billy Graham, who I know you saw.
You've talked about seeing live here on the Stone Zone before.
So let's roll those clips of Trump in Georgia talking about what he's doing to help people and then get Roger's thoughts on the president traveling to these devastated areas While Biden and Harris just talked to the media by their airplanes, really almost hiding in their ivory tower.
Let's roll that.
The federal government is not being responsive.
They're having a very hard time getting the president on the phone.
He won't get on.
And, of course, the vice president, she's out someplace campaigning, looking for money.
So they have to be focused over here.
This is a really bad one.
And the governor's doing a good job, but he's having a hard time getting the president on the phone.
They're being very nonresponsive.
We're also going to be going, we're talking with North Carolina.
We're trying to get them hooked up with communication.
They're totally closed right now.
North Carolina has really been hit hard.
Really, really been hit hard.
The hardest.
And we can't even get in there right now.
And there are a lot of people that have been injured or worse.
Very bad.
North Carolina.
We're working with the people in North Carolina now to get them hooked up for communication.
Homes, hospitals, highways, and cars have been plunged underwater.
Entire neighborhoods have been turned into lakes.
Nobody's seen anything like it.
And to every family that's been displaced here in Georgia and North Carolina, who's — which has really been hit.
We were going there also, and they don't have communication.
They don't have anything right now.
They're — we're trying to — I just spoke to Elon.
I'm getting him.
I want to — we want to get Starlink.
Hooked up, because they have no communication whatsoever.
And Elon... Elon will always come through.
We know that.
And so we're working on that, getting him hooked up.
They asked me whether or not that would be possible.
We're going to try and get the Starlink in there as soon as possible because I have no communication.
And throughout the region, our hearts are with you and we are going to be with you as long as you need.
It's called an hour of need.
You're in our prayers and we pray to God.
And throughout this long weeks, the long weeks that lay ahead, you're going to have a lot of work.
But the end result is it's going to be good.
We just wish so many people weren't.
So badly hurt, and in many cases, sadly, no longer with us.
We love you.
I've been asked if I would lead in a prayer.
Our Father and our God, we come today to say thank you for these men and women who are here as volunteers.
Thank you for the President who has taken time to come and to see it for himself, to shake hands, to encourage.
And to smile in the faces of people that have been hurt and devastated by this storm.
Father, we ask for help.
Father, we pray that as we come to this election, that your will be done.
And so father, we pray for the president, strengthen him, protect him.
Father, we thank you.
And as in Jesus name, we pray this prayer.
Amen.
Thank you.
This building behind us represents hundreds of thousands of people that have lost homes, businesses, friends, loved ones.
And it's going to take an army of volunteers and people to respond.
And of course, at Samaritan's Purse, we want to respond always in Jesus' name.
And we want people to know that God loves them, that God cares for them.
Sometimes when a storm like this comes, people think, well, maybe God is mad at us.
Maybe this is His judgment.
No.
God loves us.
How do I know that?
Because the Bible tells us that God loves us and cares for us.
And yes, there are storms in life.
But God will take us through those storms if we put our faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Mr. President, for coming and helping to put a spotlight on this city, this state, and this region that has lost so much.
Thank you.
May God bless you, Mr. President.
Very powerful words by Reverend Franklin Graham.
As many people know, he's a pivotal figure in my own redemption in the blood of the cross.
It was after a conversation with Reverend Graham that I made the decision to ask Christ to come into my life and to save me from politically motivated, vicious prosecutors trying to destroy me and my family because I refused to give them false testimony against President Donald Trump.
So I have great reverence and respect for Reverend Graham.
And again, you see, Troy, Donald Trump today, providing leadership today, reaching out to Elon Musk to get Starlink set up so people can have communications again and working with the governor and the governors to try to get aid to these cities. reaching out to Elon Musk to get Starlink set up
Trump, who's right there in the path of the hurricane, where we get nothing from Kamala Harris or President Joe Biden, but at this point, silence.
What they do financially is going to be very interesting here, because Governor DeSantis demonstrated in Florida, you can get these counties up and running again quickly.
Now, they do have mail-in ballots in Georgia and in North Carolina.
As well as Florida.
But if your home is blown away, where would they mail the ballot to?
If you see my point.
Would they set up temporary polling places in these areas?
How many residents will even still be in the area?
How many will have to leave the area to take up shelter elsewhere?
This is potentially a calamity.
If you look at those 29 counties in Georgia, Trump needs to get a gain of 56,800 votes.
Harris needs to get out of those same counties only a margin of about 10,000 votes because a disproportionate number of those counties are Republican counties.
And that's under a normal situation.
So, we're going to be watching this situation very closely.
Interestingly enough, I'm not the only one who thinks that maybe Joe Biden is trying to undermine Kamala Harris.
Look at this video of John Catsimatidis, the grocery store magnate, the owner of 77WABC Radio.
He does his own show, the Cats and Cosby Show, but here he is on Fox talking about exactly that.
Mr. President, would you intervene in the dock workers' strike if they go on strike on Tuesday?
No.
from Maine to Texas, preparing to walk off the job if they don't get a deal by tonight.
Listen to what President Biden said about a potential strike.
Mr. President, would you intervene in the dock workers' strike if they go on strike on Tuesday?
No.
Why not?
Because it's collective bargaining.
I don't believe in Taft Harbour.
All right, John Katsimatidis joins me now.
Okay, the president will not intervene.
And we are likely to get a strike.
You run the Gristides chain of grocery stores in New York.
I know that's a small part of your business, but you run them.
Yes.
Are you expecting shortages, fruits and vegetables, for example, if we get a strike?
If there's a strike, prices in the supermarkets will go up higher than ever.
And, you know, we have everything closed down.
You have the Suez Canal closed down.
The Red Sea is closed down.
If you have a strike on the East Coast, that's going to be closed down.
Guess what?
Prices are going to go to the moon.
And the question is, on what President Biden is, is 35 days, 34 days to the election, is This is not going to be very good for Vice President Harris because she's depending on lower prices.
Well, guess what?
There is no price gouging.
Prices will go higher than ever.
And that is President Biden getting even with Kamala Harris and the forces that forced him not to run.
Well, earlier this morning, the Commerce Secretary, Gina Radondo, she was asked about the looming port strike, and she said, and I'm quoting now, she has not been focused on that.
Do you believe that?
The Commerce Secretary?
One day away she's not focused on that?
Where is this administration?
I mean, that is crazy.
Prices will go higher than ever.
He should put a halt on it until at least after the election.
I mean, if you have a Democratic president and a Democratic candidate, What is that?
Doesn't that mean you should put it off until after the election?
I mean, the one thing that people don't realize, what Nancy Pelosi and maybe President Obama, I don't know who was involved, they did a coup on the United States government.
This is a coup by forcing President Biden not to run.
It was not voluntary.
He was forced not to run.
So this is a coup on the United States of America that nobody talks about. - Okay, I'm gonna talk about something else for a second.
New York City administration.
Governor, I'm sorry, Mayor Adams, Mayor Adams.
He's been charged and allegedly took bribes.
123,000 bucks worth of free flights and Ritzy perks from foreign nationals in exchange for favors.
OK, we got all of that, we know it.
Do you think this administration is on the verge of collapse?
I mean, he's not leaving.
He's going to fight these charges.
Which means we've got this administration in New York for at least the next year.
I believe he does not plan to resign, and he has told his friends that even if he's indicted, even—he's not going to resign, and he's going to run for re-election.
That's what I've been told.
So, we've got this administration for at least another year?
Well, let's—how do they say it in Great Britain?
Let's see how things sort themselves out.
If it's an upgrade on an airline ticket, if it's an upgrade on a hotel room, nobody cares.
But if it did receive $10 million, that's going to be hard to justify.
But his administration can't do much.
I mean, his education guy's gone, the police commissioner's gone, his chief counsel's gone, other people have resigned.
That's not much of an administration.
You've got to do business in New York City.
It's going to be harder to do business either way.
Look, compared to some of the other people that want to run, All right.
A very good interview there.
few problems he has, then it's not that serious.
Because the people that may come in might be much worse.
That's right.
And we don't need a socialist running New York City.
No, we don't.
And that's my— All right.
A very good interview there.
Two parts of it, really.
First of all, John Katsimatidis correctly pointing out that a dock strike along the entire East Coast will drive prices, particularly prices, grocery prices, businesses in.
A business, by the way, in which he points out that the usual margins are about one to two percent.
It's the idea that there's price gouging going on ignores the fact that the prices for the grocery stores of all produce, for example, are going up, which is why they charge more, not because they're price gouging.
Well, Harris doesn't seem to understand that.
But the impact prior to the election of Biden not intervening in this strike could be devastating in terms of prices.
And then the second part of it, very interesting.
I talked about this on my radio show yesterday at 77 WABC Radio.
If you will look at the indictment of Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, the idea that he was indicted simply because he allegedly opposes the open borders policies of of the Harris-Bide administration is entirely false.
Eric Adams ran for mayor of New York City as an advocate for New York City being a sanctuary city.
As mayor, he has put migrant shelters, which are extremely dangerous, magnets for crime, in working class neighborhoods, Republican neighborhoods, actually, in Queens and Staten Island, as well as Brooklyn.
His real complaint has not been the policy.
It has been that the federal government isn't giving him the money to deal with the problem they have created.
That's not the same thing as being an opponent or opposed to their open borders policy.
And then when you go to the crime, well, if you read the entire indictment, and I have, Uh, I heard, uh, I guess I saw Cat Timf on Gutfield the other night making jokes about, well, he got some upgrades on his airline ticket, maybe got an extra Bloody Mary on the plane.
No, he actually took $10 million from Turkey and laundered it through straw donors and illegal campaign contributions.
Then he submitted it to the New York City campaign finance matching funds program where those contributions were matched two to one.
So he violated both federal and state law.
$10 million is a huge amount of money.
This is not a small nothing crime.
It's not small potatoes, as some have said.
And no, he is not an opponent of their open borders policy.
That is a misnomer.
He's just an opponent of the fact that they wouldn't give him millions of dollars to deal with the illegal problem.
But that's, as you know, just the tip of the iceberg.
The police commissioner and his brother were running an extortion racket.
Where the police commissioner's brother would go to restaurants and nightclubs, and they would pay him for protection against either code enforcement or the NYPD over, say, noise or sanitation issues.
You have a city whose entire administration is in collapse.
The fire commissioner had to resign because of his ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
The school chancellor, like the superintendent of schools, had to resign.
And this is just the beginning.
So those Republicans out there, those conservatives say, oh, Eric Adams was politically attacked, was charged based on political motivation.
That's simply not the case.
All right, let's continue, Troy.
Well, Roger, we have another clip that I want to play here.
And this was a huge controversy this weekend.
We actually covered it on Slingshot News.
We have a headline that we can put up about that.
And it shows that the restaurant Pimenty Brothers has gotten into a huge controversy over J.D.
Vance.
Now, J.D.
Vance, during a campaign stop in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, decided to stop with his campaign staff at a place called Primanti Brothers, which is a chain owned by a larger conglomerate that's been around for quite some time now.
And during that stop, apparently they had planned it all out, and then the Secret Service showed up and made sure everything was okay, and J.D. Vance entered the restaurant, The manager of this restaurant told J.D. Vance that he had to get out of the restaurant, that he wouldn't be served, and that he would be kicked out of the restaurant.
And if he did not leave, they would file a trespass against him and call the police.
So J.D. Vance handled the situation brilliantly.
He paid the bill of his staff, anybody who had made any kind of orders, and he left and he talked to the press outside of the event.
Now, there's conflicting reports, Roger, and this is kind of covered in the Slingshot News piece, in which the Italian American Civil Rights League has condemned Permanente Brothers for what they did to J.D. Vance.
But there's conflicting statements, because Permanente Brothers has put out a statement saying that there was a confusion between the manager and the Secret Service.
But then J.D.
Vance was allowed to eat, and yet members of J.D.
Vance's party, people involved in Republican politics in that area who had showed up to the restaurant, they claimed that J.D.
Vance was not allowed to eat there.
And it appears through the video statement that he released that that's not the case at all.
So I want to run this clip of J.D.
Vance outside the restaurant and get your thoughts on this controversy, because I saw you tweeting about it, Roger, and I know you probably have some thoughts on it.
So let's roll that.
I did see the video in question.
to this.
Primanti Brothers, we apparently don't have the clip, but Roger, can you tell me what you think about this controversy because this was really the talk of the town this weekend.
I did see the video in question.
It's clear that the J.D.
Vance was outside the restaurant.
I think he handled it very diplomatically.
But it's not consistent with the fact that Promonte Brothers actually had Tim Walz inside one of their facilities in Pennsylvania.
Now, this is a chain.
There are two of them within two miles of my home.
I'll be quite honest with you.
Some of the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life.
It's just not good, okay?
Now, pizza is like sex, meaning even when it's bad, well, still pretty good.
And at three o'clock in the morning, because Promonti Brothers does stay open, at least one of their facilities, 24 hours, it may be the only place you can get a slice at 3.30 in the morning.
Uh, that said, uh, what they're really famous for is putting French fries inside their sandwiches, which I find to be kind of weird, frankly.
So, anyway, uh, if I were, uh, uh, speaking to my fellow America First patriots, uh, I would, uh, not be patronizing the Primanti brothers.
Generally speaking, I don't like boycotts, but In this case, I think they gave J.D.
Vance a raw deal.
They also changed their story.
People on J.D.
Vance's advance team tell me that they had visited in advance, that the restaurant management knew they were coming, and then really only objected when vice presidential candidate Vance showed up.
So it looks to me like a setup.
Uh, and then when you start to examine some of who the major owners are of the corporation that owns Parmonte Brothers, they own a number of other restaurant chains that are pretty well known, you'll find that they are, in fact, left-wing, never-Trumper Democrats.
So, I guess the bottom line of this is I agree with the resolution passed by the Italian American Civil Rights League.
By the way, you can join the Italian American Civil Rights League by going to IACRL.org and you may want to join.
It is an organization, a non-profit, set up to stand up for Italian-American heritage and Italian-American culture and the important role that Italian-Americans have played into making this a great country.
Meanwhile, avoid the Primanti Brothers if you can.
Well, and Roger, we actually have, first of all, we have a screenshot that we can put up real quickly of some of the donations from the individuals that do own Primanti Brothers with some that you can see from their Facebook.
They have some LGBTQ stuff.
We have donations to Act Blue as well as some pictures with Black Lives Matter and some different stuff like that from their Facebook.
So this is exactly what this organization is.
And I was just told while you were talking there that we do have the video of JD Vance.
Let's roll that.
And then we have a few more news topics to get into here. - We paid for everybody's food.
We gave a nice tip.
And of course, when I gave a nice tip, I said, no taxes on tip.
- Yeah! - Yeah! - That was last year. - Thank you, JD.
It's all right.
Don't hold it against her.
She just got a little nervous, but it's a great local business.
Let's keep on supporting it.
And most importantly, November 5th or before, go vote.
Let's go win this thing.
Vance is a class act.
I really am looking forward to tomorrow night.
We here at the Stone Zone are going to be doing a joint broadcast yet again with our good friend Luke Rutkowski.
And this is going to be an epic, epic night.
Troy, you already see Tim Walz's handlers trying to downplay expectations.
Oh, he's nervous.
He's very nervous.
He's very unsure.
They're doing all this on purpose.
They're trying to lower the expectations so that even if he has a fumbling performance, they can say he exceeded them.
This is going to be a classic debate.
I think Vance is really on his game.
He's a smart guy.
He'll approach this strategically.
Walsh's record is a disaster.
He can't really defend it.
And then you add to that the fact that J.D. Vance told the truth about his military service and served his country with honor and correctly claimed the rank that he had earned, whereas T.D. Vance, Tim Walz lied about being in combat, lied even about his rank in the military, lied about how long he served.
That's certainly come up.
Interesting to see what the context of that is.
We're going to take a quick commercial break here because, well, we've got to keep the lights on.
And with this hurricane and so many people out of power, now's the time to remind you that when you have a catastrophic event like this hurricane, Uh, that the, uh, the first thing that goes are the cell towers.
That's right, no cell phones, no computers, uh, no cell phones, no electricity, no heating, no air conditioning, no refrigeration.
Uh, but it was, uh, because of this that I went out and got the Iridium 9555 phone, uh, which connects to the Iridium satellite phone service.
Which means that regardless of whether we have a hurricane, a natural disaster, or whether, say, the power grid is shut down by terrorists or by hackers, you will always have both text and telephone service any place where you can see the sky.
Let's roll it!
This is Roger Stone.
Remember when AT&T's cell phone outage left millions, including me, stranded without a means to communicate with loved ones, business associates, or even for emergency services?
You see, cellular networks are particularly vulnerable, big targets for hackers and terrorists, as well as vulnerable to hurricanes and other natural disasters.
So if your cell phone goes down, how will you communicate?
That's why I got the Iridium 9555 satellite phone and service.
I'm using the proprietary Iridium satellite service.

I highly recommend it to you.
All right, Troy, let's continue going forward with the American politics.
We are 30 plus days away from an American election.
People ask me, you know, what is the October surprise?
Well, we're almost in October, and this hurricane is a perfect example of the kind of unpredictable event that, as we've demonstrated today, could really greatly affect this election.
The fact that two swing states, Georgia and North Carolina, are very severely impacted could affect the vote, which could affect the Electoral College, which of course could affect the outcome of the election.
And that has really been our focus here today.
But there were big football games this weekend.
It looked to me like Tim Walsh was not so well received at the Michigan game.
Well Roger, it really is a tale of two campaigns.
We had examples of both Trump and Tim Walz at different college football games yesterday, and the perception, or the reception I should say, was a lot different.
We could call that different.
We have a clip first of Tim Walz being booed in Michigan, and then just after this clip I want to play another clip.
of Tim Walz getting off of the plane in Michigan.
It was a really, really bizarre thing, Roger.
He's throwing his hands around and, you know, waving his arms around.
And we have a clip of him greeting, which reportedly was a group of high school students had come to the game or to the tarmac to greet him, Tim Walz, after he got off his plane.
And he seems to grab himself in front of these women.
You know, I find it so weird, Roger.
Tim Walz is the guy that comes up with the whole Trump and J.D.
Vance are weird, yet this is one of the weirdest guys I've ever seen in the public spotlight.
Let's roll those clips and get Roger's thoughts about Tim Walz's very terrible day at the Michigan game this weekend.
Get out of here!
You wanna go?
We wanna go!
- Yeah. - Woo! - Woo! - Woo! - Woo! - Woo! - That is just downright weird.
That's as weird as it gets.
I can't wait for this debate tomorrow night.
I can't wait.
I think it's going to be spectacular.
I think this guy is going to have a belly flop that you wouldn't believe.
But, you know, who knows?
I mean, his handlers are putting out the word that he's nervous.
That's an obvious attempt to lower expectations.
Donald Trump went to a football game this weekend as well.
How'd that work out?
Well, we have some clips of that, and you could say it went really well, Roger.
I mean, the leftist people, you know, in the mainstream media, and I'm noticing more people on X2 trying to desperately sway the narrative every time Trump appears in public, saying, oh, he has to appear at a football game.
But as you'll see from these clips that we pulled from the game, Roger, the reception of Trump at this game was, I would call it, magnificent.
I would describe it as the fans really cheering for Trump.
And let's roll the clips.
I mean, you guys can be the judge of this.
You can compare this to what we just saw with Tim Walz in Michigan.
Thank you.
Former President Trump is a guest of some Alabama Boosters in a suite here.
Also attended the collision of these two teams for the championship in Atlanta.
They came down to the final play.
Thank you.
Thank you.
for tomorrow night.
You see the incredible juxtaposition there.
I I can honestly say, since I study the polls every day, Trump has never been more popular.
He was not as strong at this point in 2016.
He was not as strong at this point in 2020.
The intensity of his support is unlike anything I've ever seen.
I still believe at this point he holds a narrow edge.
The Atlas survey out this weekend, which I find to be one of the most reliable pollsters out there, has him leading in, I think, every state with the exception of Wisconsin, which I think they had as a toss up.
Nobody who's for the president should get overly optimistic.
This is not going to be any kind of walk away or any kind of landslide, but the president has really hit his stride here.
You can see that in his rallies.
This is a man they've tried to kill twice.
They may, God forbid, try yet again.
But, Troy, I'm feeling slightly more optimistic today.
And you know me, I'm a pessimist by nature.
But I have a feeling that he's He's in increasingly strong position here.
I think he's going to be even in stronger position after tomorrow night's debate.
Again, you'll be able to watch that.
We are co-hosting with the We Are Change show on YouTube.

All right, Troy, we have a little bit of time left.
Let's continue.
Well, Roger, one of your favorites, one of the subjects of, I think, maybe your most important book that you ever wrote, is the hideous Hillary Clinton.
And you know, it's funny to me because every time I see that book that she put out, I think about you talking about the fact that she airbrushed herself.
And you look at what's on the cover of her latest book, and really, it looks nothing like Hillary Clinton ever in the history of Hillary Clinton, so it's kind of interesting.
But she's called for media outlets to be censored that disagree with her.
She's called for journalists to be put in jail who disagree with her and who really cover the truth.
I guess that's kind of her standard for you belong in the gulag.
Hillary wants to send people, especially journalists who cover her and critique her, really, to the gulag.
She stated that publicly.
And she's now come out and said that the press, now she's dictating to the press, that the press needs to have a consistent narrative about the dangers of Donald Trump.
She said this at a Clinton Global Initiative meeting.
They've kind of revived this under the guise of Ukraine, trying to redeem themselves, I guess, and to run another cycle of scams, as we've seen time and time again with the Clintons.
So I want to roll this and get your thoughts on where the Clinton Global Initiative is headed, and where is Hillary hoping to end up following this 2024 election.
Let's roll that now.
The press is not supporting Trump blatantly, very persistently.
The press is trying to be the press, be objectives, be, you know, reporting the facts.
The press needs a consistent narrative about the danger that Trump poses.
Because, you know.
This woman is a short tempered, foul mouthed, entitled kleptocrat who would steal a hot stove.
One of the things that I discovered when I wrote my book, The Clinton's War on Women, women, is that there was a memo out from the White House Chief of Staff to all members of the White House staff when Bill was president that said that if you encounter the First Lady in the hallways or anywhere in the Executive Office Building or the White House, you are never to look at her directly and you are never to address her unless she addresses you.
That's kind of warm, fuzzy person we're talking about here.
A week ago, she was calling for broad censorship of anyone who disagreed with her.
We played that clip.
Now, I'm not sure the press that supports Donald Trump, I'm not quite sure who she's talking about.
The press that's being objective, I'm not sure who she's talking about there either.
Certainly not ABC, NBC, CNN, or MMS-NBC, for example.
She's a bitter woman.
She's a broken woman.
Donald Trump broke her, and she's never ever going to be president.
So if Donald Trump accomplishes nothing else in his lifetime, even if you don't want to acknowledge already that he should go down as one of our greatest presidents, which just based on his accomplishments when it came to peace and prosperity, he should, the one thing he did do greater than anything is to keep that harpy out of the White House.
Well, Roger, that's very well put, and we have another clip that I want to play for you.
This one is Kamala Harris talking about, you know, she just returned from a mega fundraiser in San Francisco.
She's going all over the place now, as we just played earlier, you know, ignoring the press, refusing to answer questions about her role as vice president.
You know, there continues to be a question as China emerges, as these things erupt on the world stage, as Israel is launching these wide-scale attacks, and a wide-scale war in the Middle East seems almost inevitable.
It appears, Roger, that there's nobody at home in the White House.
Kamala Harris is campaigning, and Biden is off in his head.
So we don't know where he is, and neither does he.
So we have a clip of Kamala Harris talking about the Hurricane Helene victims.
Now that she's been kind of grilled by the press for refusing to talk about it, she's issued this statement.
Let's roll that and get your thoughts on this kind of lackluster response.
And does this kind of speak to what you were saying earlier?
Is Biden putting her between a rock and a hard place here?
President Biden and I will continue to make sure that communities have the support and the resources that they need, not only to respond to this storm and its immediate aftermath, but also the resources they will need to recover.
Well, first of all, Troy, I want to point out that the way you mispronounce her name is openly racist, okay?
You gotta knock that off.
So it's Kamala, not Kamala, okay?
You're saying that because you're a racist.
It's a racist pronunciation of her name, and I'm sick of it.
It's easy for you to remember.
Let me tell you how.
Communist Kamala.
Communist Kamala.
Got it?
Comrade Kamala.
So don't let me hear you say it wrong again.
You got that?
I, you know, I wonder, you know, Roger, sometimes I wonder, I actually saw an interview.
I wonder, you know, Roger, sometimes I wonder, I actually saw an interview.
It's funny because you mentioned that.
It's funny because you mentioned that.
I saw an interview with a representative Birchin and he was actually talking about how they mispronounced his name all the time, but the interviewer actually did exactly what you just did right there.
I saw an interview with Representative Burchett, and he was actually talking about how they mispronounce his name all the time.
But the interviewer actually did exactly what you just did right there, and she was dead serious about it.
And she was dead serious about it.
And she was saying, oh, there's racial undertones in how you say this.
And it's just – it's so ridiculous that you almost have to look at the Democrat Party and say, how are they doing this?
And I think it speaks to the mirage that is this whole Kamala Harris thing, as I just mispronounced it again, Kamala Harris.
You know, the entire campaign.
It's a media-created false image.
And I just don't see the popular support for this woman that they are claiming is out there.
And you wonder, is this image that they've created, this false idol that they've created, is this enough to push her over the finish line in this election?
I think Biden's undermining is going to come into play here, but she's not getting the traction that she wants, and it's resulted in people kind of chastising people over the pronunciation of her name.
Yeah, I actually, of course I was joking around, but I took that from an interview in which some...
Talking head on MSNBC attacked another person who, because he didn't like the pronunciation that he gave to her name, but he insisted that it was race-based, which is, of course, crazy.
I would point out that this weekend in Miami they had a Kamala caravan, a car caravan, that featured Anna Navarro.
It was not terribly successful.
I understand there were 16 people showed up.
for this incredible caravan.
They have one every weekend between now and the election.
We're gonna be reporting on those.
We might even go live from one of them on a Saturday just to demonstrate to you, so you can see with your own eyes, that there's no one there.
No, I think that her support is largely a psyop.
The fact is that the party that has been lecturing us about democracy, about how Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans are a threat to democracy, Where was the democracy in their nominating process?
Say anything you like about crazy Joe Biden.
He got 17 million votes and he got 71% of the vote in the Democrat primaries and caucuses.
Who nominated Kamala Harris?
Nobody is the answer.
There's no democracy at all.
So she was the candidate of the bosses put into this slot by Barack Obama because they feared that Joe could not win.
But they just gloss over that now, like it's not an issue.
The other issue I think she skated on is she told us the day after the CNN debate that Joe Biden was sharp as a tack, that there was no evidence that he was slipping.
And then she joined with others in the cabal to force him out.
Why?
Well, because he was slipping.
She's never been held to account on that.
She's never been questioned on it because, well, she doesn't give interviews.
She doesn't do press conferences.
She doesn't go into any forum where the questions aren't given to her in advance and all approved.
I don't think, as Robert Kennedy said this weekend, that someone like that can be elected president, but this is still, because of mainstream media manipulation and the internet censorship and general censorship across all platforms, this race is much closer than it actually should be.
So nobody should, again, take anything for granted.
Well, exactly, Roger, and there's a couple things, there's one more thing I wanted to ask you about, and that is the Make America Healthy Again platform.
And, you know, I think for so long, Roger, the idea of clean food, clean living, this healthy thing that's being led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
now with the Trump team, it was viewed as kind of like a fringe issue.
But I think a lot of people are glad to see Kennedy and Trump bringing this idea into the mainstream, making it front and center.
I wanted to ask you your thoughts on this idea of having RFK Jr. held these events with the idea of making America healthy again.
Look, I think that this is the beginning of a realignment in American politics, and I think there's nothing nearly as important as the health of the nation.
I had Dr. Robert Redfield, who was the director of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control under Trump, on my 77 WABC radio show this weekend, and he is joining RFK in this call for a complete war on chronic disease, which is particularly relevant among children.
We are more obese, we are less Healthy as a people than we have ever been.
And it's not just the additives in your breakfast cereal.
It's additives in all the food.
We're being slowly poisoned in our food.
I started reading the books of Cali means I've become a major devotee to this idea of eating clean and eating healthier.
I think this is an important part of the realignment that is to come.
And I'm really glad to see RFK on the Trump bandwagon, because if you elect Donald Trump, RFK is going to have a major say in not only changing the process by which prescription drugs are approved in this country and getting the power of big pharma under control, but he's also going to play a leading role in cleaning up and making our food healthier.
So the Make America Healthy Again as an adjunct to the Make America Great Again I think is the beginning of a broader realignment.
The Democrats can have Dick Cheney.
He started an unnecessary war that killed tens of thousands of Iraqis and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and tens of thousands of Americans.
They can have what's left of the McCain family.
They can have little Adam Kinzinger.
We will be happy to take RFK Jr.
and Tulsi Gabbard and Rod Blagojevich for that matter.
This is the new realignment.
All right, I'm afraid we are out of time, Troy, so I'm gonna sign off here.
Folks, thanks for joining us today on The Stone Zone.
Again, you can follow us on Rumble.
We much appreciate your being with us every day.
Until tomorrow, God bless you and Godspeed, and please, an extra prayer for those in the path of Hurricane Helene.
Until tomorrow, God bless you and Godspeed.
A man who's gone through hell, But he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
