All right, people, I'm Dave Rubin.
This is The Rubin Report.
It's September 16th, 2024, and yes, they tried to kill Donald Trump again.
We are live-streaming on Rumble, YouTube, and Locals.
Share, subscribe, tap that notification bell if you have not done all those things already.
Post-game show, as always, reubenreport.locals.com, where you can question me, correct me, comment on the show, complain.
It's really up to you. | ||
Whatever you want to do, and you help keep us independent.
You know, I smirked a little bit when I said they tried to kill Donald Trump again.
There is nothing funny about any of this, obviously, and I don't think people really
realize how close we could be to veering off the cliff.
I mean absolute chaos in this country.
Like think about it. | ||
It's only barely two months ago Donald Trump almost was killed, right?
And now a guy brings an AK-47 to Trump Doral golf course and hotel right here.
It's not that far from where we are.
I think about 25 miles somewhere, something like that.
And it almost happens again.
And obviously we're gonna get into all the details and all that, and then talk about some of the media reaction and everything else.
But I was thinking last night, after I heard about this, you know, it's like, if this had happened, If it had happened two months ago, or just let's say it happened yesterday.
Imagine they really got him yesterday.
Where are we at right this moment?
Where do you think we are at?
Where half the country will be mourning and half the country either will be celebrating, perhaps publicly or privately.
Media that has lied to us about everything, that has told us that he is Hitler, and then also will tell us that we should somehow feel bad that Hitler is dead.
We have no sense-making apparatus anymore, except, I guess, for what we and shows like this do, to make some common cause here.
But if we don't get out of this, This endless lunacy they have sucked us all into, like things could get so much worse so quickly.
So that is the backdrop, not the most fun opening for a Monday show.
We'll see if we can lighten it up as we get through the hour.
But let's get right to it.
Sean Hannity on Fox News broke the original story about this second shooting.
Take a look. | ||
unidentified
|
They were playing, they were on the fifth hole.
And the way Steve described this, the way the president described it, they both had exactly the same story, which was that they heard pop, pop, pop, pop.
And Steve went into great specificity and great detail as to what happened right after.
unidentified
|
Within seconds the Secret Service pounced on the President, covered him.
You had snipers with tripods.
They knew the direction where the shots had been fired and they had eyes on the location where the shots had been fired.
But here's a bit more from Fox on some of the details that are now being reported.
unidentified
|
Lucas Tomlinson live at the White House.
Lucas, anything more on the reports that this may have started when a Secret Service agent saw a potential gunman at the golf course and opened fire?
Well Eric, that's almost exactly what happened.
Fox News can now report that it was the Secret Service that fired the gunshots at the suspected gunman outside former President Trump's Golf Club Trump International in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Secret Service saw a man carrying an AK-47 The man with the AK-47 did not open fire.
It was the Secret Service that opened fire.
The man dropped the rifle, took off running.
We now understand, based on local reports, that that suspect is now in custody.
We are awaiting a press conference from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office as well as the Secret Service.
We'll both be at that press conference.
But Fox News can confirm once again, it was the Secret Service that fired those shots
at what they saw was a threat to the president who was playing golf, as we just heard from
Sean Hannity. | ||
Former President Trump was on the front nine of Trump International.
When these shots rang out, the Secret Service saw what they thought was a threat, a man,
a lone gunman carrying an AK-47.
That man did not fire the shots.
It was the Secret Service.
That suspect went running and we're now told he's in custody.
OK, I made a mistake. | ||
This wasn't at Doral. | ||
It was in West Palm Beach, of course.
But the point is, any of these courses and any of these hotels, you don't just wander in, right?
They're gonna check you.
And just to be absolutely clear, it was not the would-be assassin who did the shooting here, okay?
The shots were fired by the Secret Service.
Here's a bit more. | ||
This is Sheriff Rick Bradshaw explaining how they figured this out and were able to stop before an unimaginable tragedy.
unidentified
|
We had that information.
Our real-time crime center put it out to the license plate readers, and we were able to get a hit on that vehicle on I-95 as it was headed into Martin County.
We got a hold of Martin County Sheriff's Office, alerted them, and they spotted the vehicle and pulled it over and detained the guy.
Okay, so thankfully everything that law enforcement did seems, well, it clearly worked, and it seems like they were paying attention and everything else.
We'll get to a bit more on the Secret Service and all that in just a second.
I want to show you this tweet from Fox, just for a little more color here.
As you can see, first search warrant issued for shooting suspect's car.
And there you can see the bags, rifle, and GoPro that were left by the suspect in the bushes over there.
I've got a tweet here from Colin Rugg just in.
A man with the name Ryan Routh, the same name as the would-be assassin suspect, is a Ukraine fanatic and Trump hater who is apparently recruiting soldiers to fight in Ukraine.
Routh's social accounts were filled with posts about recruiting soldiers.
For Ukraine, he also shared anti-Trump posts throughout X. Soldiers, please do not call me.
We are still trying to get Ukraine to accept Afghan soldiers and hope to have some answers in the coming months.
If you are interested in fighting in Ukraine, you must have a passport and send it to me by the way of WhatsApp, he said in one post on Facebook.
You must also have the money to purchase an airplane ticket to Moldova.
If you cannot afford the cost, you cannot go.
We are also trying to get Taiwan to accept soldiers, hopefully in the coming years.
Please have patience, Ryan.
Other posts consist of anti-Trump rhetoric, and there's some images of his tweets.
POTUS, he's talking about Biden, your campaign should be called something like K-A-D-A-F, Keep America Democratic and Free.
Trump's should be M-A-S-A, Make American Slaves Again Master.
Democracy is on the ballot and we cannot lose, we cannot afford to fail.
The world is counting on us to show the way and then of course there's some other images there and you see this guy in a strip of blue hair and all that.
So look, I don't know exactly how, it's just so insane that we're two months away from the first one of these.
I don't know how you cover something like this and don't politicize it because clearly If this is the guy, which by every measure it is, this was political in nature, right?
He had what we would call Trump derangement syndrome.
He was deep, deep, deep, deep in the Ukraine situation and not happy with the Trump response on that.
Now, interestingly, because this did happen in West Palm here in Florida, this is not only going to be led, the investigation that is, is not only gonna be led by the feds.
Check this out from Governor Ron DeSantis.
I think we've got the tweet there.
Do we have the tweet? | ||
Yeah. | ||
The state of Florida will be conducting its own investigation regarding the attempted assassination at Trump International Golf Club.
The people deserve the truth about the would-be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and current GOP nominee.
So I think that's just an interesting statement.
Sort of side note to all of this because all of this comes at the backdrop of what the high hell happened last time.
Were the agents, and I'm talking about the assassination attempt two months ago, were they DEI hires?
How absolutely incompetent were they all when they couldn't go on the slightly sloped roof and they saw the shooter there and there were people in the crowd yelling and all of that stuff.
And DeSantis is basically saying, hey, this happened in my state.
We're not leaving the investigation up to you guys for some cover-up.
We're gonna do what we can to figure this thing out.
Now, I wanna get to a quote from Trump, and this is what he immediately put out, and this is just Trump doing Trump.
Alert from Trump. | ||
There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first.
I am safe and well. | ||
Nothing will slow me down.
I will never surrender.
I will always love you for supporting me.
Unity, peace, make America great again.
May God bless you. | ||
I'll read you a post on Truth Social from Trump in just a second, but just, I know everything becomes hyper-political.
I know we gotta report on every little piece of everything, but just try to imagine.
The mental state that Donald Trump is in right now.
He's two months off having part of his ear blown off, right?
And someone being killed at his rally, okay?
The endless constant rhetoric, the backdrop of the trials, and then trying to remove him from the ballot, and there's still an indictment pending where they could try to send him to jail, and all of this stuff.
And he is still out there.
The guy barely takes a day off.
What was it? | ||
It was only, what, three days after the last assassination attempt that they had the Republican convention and he's out there doing the entire thing.
It's true. | ||
He shows no signs of slowing down.
I don't know that anyone else on earth could do it.
And I would say that that's also connected to the debate last week, because in that three on one debate where people were saying, oh, he was a little jumpy or a little angry or whatever, it's like, well, what?
How would you feel? | ||
How would you feel after everything this guy has gone through and is going through right now and then it happens again?
So now let me read his Truth Social post.
I would like to thank everyone for your concern and well wishes.
It was certainly an interesting day.
More importantly, I want to thank the U.S.
Secret Service, Sheriff Rick Bradshaw, and his Office of Brave and Dedicated Patriots, and all of law enforcement for the incredible job done today at Trump International in keeping me, as the 45th President of the United States and the Republican nominee in the upcoming election, safe.
The job was done absolutely outstanding.
I am very proud to be an American.
We see what's happening on the ground.
Again, just to jump us back to where we started on today's show, just imagine if he was killed.
Where are we at right this moment?
Are there riots in the streets?
What happens to the presidential election?
What direction does MAGA go in?
What does this mean? | ||
It could have all happened.
And if we don't stop and think about that, Um, it probably is going to happen and it might, it might happen either way.
Uh, we have a, we have a huge, huge problem right now because we seemingly have incompetent agencies all over the place.
We'll find out more on how this all happened, but that's not really the biggest problem.
The biggest problem is that we have had a mainstream media and a party, the Democrat party that for years now has "that this man is Hitler and a fascist
"and he's coming to get you "and he's here to imprison people
"and he's racist and all of those things."
So if you were so brainwashed, as it appears this would-be assassin was,
put aside the Ukraine stuff and all that, if you were so brainwashed to believe
all of those things about Donald Trump, would you kill him?
If you could go back in time and kill Hitler before Hitler killed six million Jews
and 20 million other people in wars and everything else, Would that be moral?
Would that be right? | ||
So their constant rhetoric has ramped this thing up to this point.
And that is where we are at.
And by the way, it's not, oh, it goes both ways on this.
When we talk about Joe Biden or Kamala Harris and say, okay, they are socialists or they are Marxists or something, I think we're laying out a pretty freaking good case as to why they are.
They want endless big government.
We're showing their collusion with media, with corporations.
Post-COVID lockdown, all of those things.
There's a case to be made.
And by the way, they're not really hiding it.
But the accusations against Trump are the worst type of accusations possible.
And then in an age of social media, do you think some people might take that into their own hands?
Well, we have two instances where clearly they do.
So who is to blame here? | ||
Well, I think there's probably some element on the Secret Service, at least absolutely in the first case, and we most likely will find out here, but I want to focus on the media and the Democrats right now.
And I know people's, well, it's too early to do that.
And no, it is not. | ||
It is not. | ||
We are here. | ||
Again, the man could be dead today, and then where is the country?
We'll get to that in just a second.
Let me tell you about Preserve Gold.
Guys, we're living in unpredictable times.
Jesus. | ||
With digital currencies on the rise, a whopping $35 trillion in national debt, and inflation is still at a 40-year high.
Oh, and they just tried to kill Trump again.
For these reasons and more, the big short traders, known for their successful bet against the housing market back in 2008, are warning that Americans don't have enough gold in their portfolios.
Their advice comes amid massive central bank gold buying taking place globally and spiraling $35 trillion national debt lingering across the U.S.
That's why you should strongly consider physical gold and silver to help protect your retirement accounts like IRAs and 401ks.

Now back to me. | ||
It's like, you don't want to go right into the blame game after.
You don't. | ||
For years. | ||
We all know that, right?
Like, it's like, immediately after there's a school shooting or something, like, you want to think about what happened, how did it happen, get all of the information.
But I think something's turning here.
And we better start putting the blame where the blame is.
Otherwise, this is never going to stop.
And maybe, perhaps it is too late, truly.
But for a long freaking time, they have ramped up the rhetoric around Donald Trump.
How about we jump back six years ago?
Six years ago, before Kamala Harris was VP, okay?
Before she had done the coup to get rid of Joe Biden.
How about we show her on Ellen DeGeneres' show, 2018, and take a look at this.
unidentified
|
If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?
Does one of us have to come out alive?
unidentified
|
*laughter* *imitates the sound of a dog barking*
I'll kill all of them! | ||
unidentified
|
*imitates the sound of a dog barking* Like, what is- think about it, think about it
You really need to understand the way these shows operate.
They are completely scripted, right?
So here's Ellen reading the question.
They have gone through these questions with Kamala before that thing, and the best all the writers could come up with is, oh, maybe she'll kill them all.
It's so insane, and you might look, okay, it's a comedy show, America's number one lesbian, let's not get caught up in all of that, but they have been doing this forever.
I wanna show you a video.
It was before the assassination attempt over the weekend.
I had never seen a video before of Tim Waltz's wife.
Strikes me as a homosexual, but apparently he's married to a woman, and here they are giving a rally speech, and there's something just wrong with these people.
unidentified
|
You just show me this. | |
Turn the page. | ||
Right? | ||
Turn the page. | ||
And you know what else that looks like?
Bye-bye. | ||
Bye-bye, Donald Trump!
We are turning the page!
52 days and we are turning the page!
52 days and it is... Bye-bye, Donald Trump!
So buh-bye Donald Trump.
There's an obsession with getting rid of this man.
Conor was able to dig this up.
up we found that video in its original German.
You're getting extra guacamole today.
Okay, now, get this. | ||
All right, I know we're being a little silly for a moment.
That just shows just how, what are the Democrats at this point?
It's just we hate Trump, just let's get rid of Trump.
There's nothing there.
There's nothing there.
As a matter of fact, in that video, if you saw it, one of their slogans now is a new way forward.
Like, new way? | ||
You're the VP for the old man who's in charge right now, so that wouldn't be very new.
Now, if you wanna see this, this is Sunday.
At 3.30pm. | ||
So this is right before this assassination.
It was after? | ||
I'm act, now I'm like completely shocked.
We did a full rundown on the show as we always do today.
I'm completely, so apparently the Trump assassination attempt, I'm shocked.
I'm actually, this is full on like live internet, like Dave Rubin shocked.
So the assassination attempt was at about 1.30 p.m.
yesterday Eastern here in Florida.
Hakeem Jeffries, who in essence is the leader of the Dems in the House now, tweeted this out at 3.30, I am shocked.
I'm utterly shocked. | ||
Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump's Project 2025.
We must stop them. | ||
Two hours after this, we must stop them.
Absolutely insane. | ||
Now Trump, now of course it's not just we must stop them and extreme MAGA Republicans and all of these things.
Like it's just, as always, ramping up the fear, ramping up the fear.
But at the debate last week, Trump said once again he is not for a national abortion ban.
He has said it every single time.
And then he makes the case for why Roe v. Wade's reversal made sense to kick it back to the states.
He also at that debate went out of his way to say that his campaign has nothing to do with Project 2025.
So can you just throw the tweet up by Hakeem Jeffries again?
So now think about this.
This is two hours after Trump almost got assassinated.
Extreme Magna Republicans are the party of National Abortion Manifestation.
So he lied. | ||
So they're extreme, he lies, and we must stop them.
How would you stop somebody if you were a mind muddled, progressive, gender confused, purple haired whack job who's on social media all day long being told that that man is Hitler and he's coming for you?
So what did Hakeem Jeffries mean?
I think it is worth asking.
I do think it is worth asking.
Of course, then there's the mainstream media.
So here's NBC News' Lester Holt and listen to the way they subtly try to explain why someone might want to assassinate Donald Trump.
unidentified
|
Today's apparent assassination attempt comes amid increasingly fierce rhetoric on the campaign trail itself.
Mr. Trump is running mate.
J.D. | ||
Vance continued to make baseless claims about Haitian immigrants in Ohio.
This weekend, there were new bomb threats in that town.
Our Maggie Vespa is in Columbus, Ohio with more.
Lester, simply put, Springfield, Ohio has been inundated by threats.
Let's put aside the Springfield, Ohio, cat-eating, dog-eating fiasco for a moment and the geese that are being stolen and the ducks and the rest of it.
You see the way they frame that?
There's an assassination, but it comes to the backdrop of something Donald Trump did.
Oh, and they're baseless claims happening in Springfield.
It's interesting because I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna really just take a chance right now.
I'm gonna take a chance, guys.
I'm pretty sure That Lester Holt over at NBC News, the man with the largest forehead in the history of the world, I am fairly certain, Lester, that you have never said that Kamala Harris makes baseless claims.
Now, we could go into the baseless claims, like claiming Donald Trump's for a national abortion ban, or claiming that he has something to do with Project 25, or claiming that Very Fine People is real, or claiming her flip-flop on abortion, on fracking, and the rest of it.
But why don't you do that?
But if you think that NBC News is a little wackadoodle, let's jump over to the televised mental institution known as MSNBC.
Here's Al Sharpton, a man deflating in a fancy suit, connecting this also to the Ohio situation and then something something, I'm not really sure.
unidentified
|
They literally had to close the schools and cancel town hall meetings because of these threats.
And when you look at the fact that he is now admitting they made up a story, as you say, quoting him, that the media wouldn't cover.
Maybe the media didn't cover it because there was no story.
It didn't exist. | ||
But again, this is consistent with Trump's campaign.
Let's not forget Donald Trump as president called Haiti and several African countries asshole countries.
You also have to factor in that if you are someone that is anti-Haitians in Springfield, or coming in to think you're defending the people of Springfield whose pets are being eaten up, Any black walking around Springfield looks Haitian.
I mean, it is racist. | ||
It is a clear threat to people.
And just like I denounce whoever's trying to assassinate Donald Trump for whatever reasons, they should denounce the fact that they are inciting nuts to feel that they can go into Springfield and save pets.
Those kinds of jaded thinking is what leads to killings.
You know, it's so interesting, because in some whacked-out world, he's sort of making some sense.
Right, like there is some confusion as to exactly what's going on in Springfield, Ohio right now.
We've shown you some of these phone calls to the local 911 where people are saying our cats are being taken away.
We've shown you some videos where guys are, you know, apparently Haitian immigrants are walking around with geese and ducks and somebody throwing cats into bags.
There's all sorts of confusion around what's going on there.
But just think how absolutely differently, what they are telling people of Springfield, Ohio is suck it up.
Suck it up, you got these 20,000 people, suck it up.
Think how it's crazily, what crazily stark contrast that is to when they sent 48, when Ron DeSantis, crazy old don't say gay Ron DeSantis, when he sent 48 migrants to Martha's Vineyard, Martha's Vineyard, one of the richest places on earth where Barack Obama has his 30 acre compound right on the water over there, so don't worry about climate change, Barack.
Or maybe you should. | ||
And the media went absolutely insane for two days and they were gone.
Those people were gone.
One of the richest areas in the world.
Couldn't find the resources for 48 people.
Obama literally could have given them 15 acres if he wanted.
30 acres, I don't think that's what you and Mike need, dude.
So that's that, right? | ||
But when it's 20,000 people maybe causing problems and maybe some of them practice voodoo or whatever, then you better just shut up about it and somehow Trump even referencing it or any of us talking about it in some way maybe ramps up the rhetoric so somebody might shoot Trump.
It's just absolutely insane, except that we live in an insane world, so I suppose it's not that insane.
We'll have more on the Democrats and their collusion with mainstream media in just a second, but let me talk to you about SimpliSafe.

There's no safe like SimpliSafe.
And now back to me. | ||
Okay, so let's talk a little bit.
about the media for a second because obviously we don't expect the media to cover this fairly or
honestly anything as it relates to Trump's policies or Trump being assassinated. But it's not just
that they treat our, let's say our side, whatever that means. It's not just that they lie about
anyone that's somewhat right-leaning. It's that it's also that they are actually in collusion
with the Democrats. | ||
We've got this from Betty Johnson, breaking.
ABC News whistleblower affidavit alleging that Kamala Harris was given an unfair advantage in her debate with Donald Trump has been released.
And there's a couple images there.
I'm gonna sorta just condense this for you.
Image number one, I blank, so this is the person who signed the affidavit, being duly sworn do hereby make the following statement under the penalty of perjury.
My name is blah blah blah and I reside at blah blah blah Manhattan, New York.
I have worked for ABC News for over 10 years in various technical administrative positions.
Since the acquisition of ABC News in 1996, I have observed significant transformations in the nature of the news reporting at the organization.
These changes suggest a shift from unbiased reporting to a model influenced by external factors.
For the record, I do not endorse Donald Trump in his capacity as candidate for President of the United States.
The intent of this affidavit is to address concerns regarding perceived biases within news reporting within my employer's debate that will be hosted on September 10, 2024.
Furthermore, the Harris campaign imposed restrictions on the scope of questioning, including no questions regarding the perceived health of Joe Biden, no inquiries related to her tenure as Attorney General in San Francisco, no questions concerning her brother-in-law, Tony West, who faces allegations of embezzling billions of dollars in taxpayer funds and who may be involved in her administration if elected.
Internal organizational climate.
I have observed a pronounced bias against Donald Trump within ABC News.
Employees expressing favorable views towards him experience significant concerns about potential retribution.
Purpose of documentation of affidavit.
This affidavit is executed to document and provide transparency regarding issues of fairness and impartiality in the debate process and broader concerns about journalistic integrity at ABC News.
So, do you get this, guys?
In essence, the Kamala Harris campaign worked with ABC to say, you will not cover these things.
Sort of, you know, things like, oh, the coup that we did against the old man, and ABC accepted that.
That's according to this whistleblower who signed an affidavit.
Now, we will, I suppose, we will find out if all that is true, but generally people that have worked at, say, a news organization like NBC for over a decade wouldn't just completely make that up and sign an affidavit because you could get into a bit of trouble.
Now, I know it doesn't surprise any of us that this type of thing happened.
Let's not let's not forget that last week, I mean, out of all of the craziness of that debate, perhaps the craziest thing was that ABC News hired Donna Brazile, who is the former head of the Democratic National Committee, who leaked Questions to Hillary Clinton.
It is known. | ||
Google it if you don't believe me.
It is out there. | ||
Everyone acknowledges it.
She leaked. | ||
She then was an analyst.
She leaked. | ||
She's an analyst for ABC now, I should say.
She was then the DNC, head of the DNC.
She leaked questions to Hillary Clinton.
And then they hire her back to analyze this debate?
Like, what kind of psychotic circle jerk from hell is this?
We've got something from Greg Price and the L.A.
Times here. | ||
On the other moderator, there was two moderators of that debate.
We had David Muir, who was pretty terrible, and then the other one, of course, was Lindsay Davis.
Debate moderator Lindsay Davis basically admits in an interview with the L.A.
Times that they went into it with the plan to only fact check Donald Trump.
Davis said the decision to attempt to correct the candidates was the response to the June 27th CNN debate between Trump and President Biden, whose poor performance led to his exit from the race.
People were concerned that statements were just allowed to hang and not be disputed by candidate Biden at the time or the moderators.
I mean, that's Lindsay Davis saying, oh, Biden couldn't do his job, right?
And because he was so absolutely horrible at it, they got rid of him.
So she's basically saying, so we saw that and then we said we'll do that job.
And it's not just that they did the job of the debater, Kamala Harris.
They lied in some of their fact checking of Trump.
They did it only one way.
And as you know, they never fact checked her the other way.
Right? | ||
The very fine people think it would have been the easiest thing to have just blown up right there.
And they could not even do that.
So they don't even pretend anymore.
It's one thing when they lie to you and you don't know they're lying, but now they're lying to us and we know they're lying and they keep lying.
That's that Solzhenitsyn quote.
You know that. | ||
Check this out. | ||
This is video of some soldiers who were watching the debate live as Kamala Harris lied.
unidentified
|
Well, I'll tell you, I agreed with President Biden's decision to pull out of Afghanistan.
Four presidents said they would, and Joe Biden did.
And as a result, America's taxpayers are not paying the $300 million a day we were paying for that endless war.
And as of today, there is not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the
unidentified
|
world the first time this is what but let's understand so what are we right now
I mean does that say it right there
Unless those guys are LARPing actors, they appear to be in military fatigues.
They appear to be somewhere that there might be some military stuff going around.
Let's not forget. | ||
I mean, everything she says is just a lie because it's all confusions around little bits of the words and everything else.
We're also funding the war in Ukraine, and training soldiers, and doing all sorts of stuff.
We built a ridiculous pier in Gaza that got destroyed immediately.
Like, it's just endless lies, endlessly.
Now, every now and again, because the Democrat politicians lie about everything, And the media then runs cover for them.
What does the media do? | ||
It launders the lies, right?
So they lie about something and then the media just pushes those lies out to us, the populace.
Every now and again you find somebody who gets on network news and pushes it back in their face.
JD Vance went on CNN to talk to Dana Bash.
I find her to be the most irritating of all of these people because, as I said last week, there's something about her that is so stiff I think she can't even fake that she's laundering the lies.
Like, usually they're better.
They're slicker at it. | ||
She's just not even good at pretending she's not a Democrat activist.
And here's J.D. | ||
throwing some of her nonsense back in her face.
And they're telling me this stuff is happening.
Dana, would you like to ask me questions and then let me answer them, or would you like to debate me on these topics?
I noticed that when you had Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, you gave them multiple choice answers to the questions that you asked, and you allowed them to answer the questions.
I'm happy to be here to talk about policy, but if you're going to interrupt me every single time that I open my mouth, then why am I even doing this?
So please ask a question and I'd ask you to be polite enough to let me answer.
All right, so that's just a good job by J.D. right?
He's not screaming, he's not just going nuts and name-calling and everything else,
but he's trying to address the fact that the inconsistency here is that they treat the Democrats one way
and they treat the Republicans the other way.
Look, there is some argument, I suppose, at this point that every single Republican should just boycott all of these
things. | ||
They should be boycotting the debates.
They should be boycotting all of mainstream media.
They should be circumventing the airlock that is allowing for Democrat control of everything.
Just go around it, right?
Just go to podcasts. | ||
Just do alternate debates.
There's a plethora of ways that this whole thing could be just pushed aside, the mainstream media.
But as long as it has some degree of control, the best thing you can do is what J.D.
did right there, which is you do not treat us Like you treat the Democrats.
And more and more people are waking up to that.
So, look, we have two candidates that are wildly different.
They're different in personality.
They're different in policy.
The narrative is treating them completely differently.
So what is it that the machine can do to push Kamala over the finish line?
We'll get to that. | ||
Perhaps cheating and some other stuff?
We'll think about that in just a second.
But first, let me talk to you about River Financial.
Guys, as the government continues to print money limitlessly, inflation has destroyed the savings and wealth of all Americans.
We need a way to protect our family and our finances from inflation and government printing.
You can do this with Bitcoin because it has a fixed supply.
It's inflation-resistant and censorship-resistant.
Guys, this is where River Financial comes in.
River is a U.S.-based, client-first financial institution providing financial products built upon Bitcoin.
River is an app for clients to buy and sell Bitcoin.
They're headquartered here in the U.S.
and have raised over $50 million in venture funding.
Their focus is on security and client service, which has elevated River to the most trusted Bitcoin-only brand.
Unlike many crypto exchanges, River holds all client Bitcoin securely in a one-to-one reserve and has the best-in-class cold storage.
River's clients get easy access to a US-based client services team, which can be reached via phone, chat, or email.
Clients can purchase Bitcoin with zero fees when they have a recurring buy setup, dollar cost averaging.
Just go to river.com slash rubinreport today and get started.
That's river.com slash rubinreport.
And now back to me. | ||
Okay. | ||
So what can the machine do to stop Donald Trump?
Charlie Kirk had a tweet that I thought summed it up nicely.
Two impeachments, four indictments, two assassination attempts, and President Trump is still standing.
Look, I think, do we have a picture of the meme?
We have the meme or I'll just, I'll just throw it.
There was a great meme this morning.
We'll show it in the post game show.
I put it up on locals, but basically where we're at right now is Trump is dodging bullets while Kamala is dodging interviews.
That, that pretty much is where we are at right now.
And there is a reason she is dodging interviews.
She is a horrific candidate.
Not only did she have a coup against her boss, The woman has flip-flopped on every single issue.
You could make an argument that she used to be even further left than Bernie Sanders.
She's the perfect avatar for the Democrats because she doesn't believe in anything other than lying to attain power.
There is no position she holds that she can explain clearly, and that's why she's not doing these interviews.
However, she finally did her second sit-down.
Let's not forget, she did her first.
It was a 41-minute interview with Dana Bash, and somehow they were only able to release 18 minutes of it.
Well, she sat down with an ABC reporter over the weekend, and he asked a very simple question, like, this is so simple, it's ridiculous.
That's how they talked.
unidentified
|
When we talk about bringing down prices and making life more affordable for people, what are one or two specific things you have in mind for that?
Well, I'll start with this.
I grew up a middle-class kid.
My mother raised my sister and me.
She worked very hard. | ||
She was able to finally save up enough money to buy our first house when I was a teenager.
I grew up in a community of hard-working people, you know, construction workers and nurses and teachers.
I try to explain to some people who may not have had the same experience, but a lot of people will relate to this.
I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who were very proud of their lawn.
And I was raised to believe and to know that all people deserve dignity.
And that we as Americans have a beautiful character.
You know, we have ambitions and aspirations and dreams, but not everyone necessarily has access to the resources that can help them fuel those dreams and ambitions.
So, when I talk about building an opportunity economy, it is very much with the mind of investing in the ambitions and aspirations and the incredible work ethic of the American people, and creating opportunity for people, for example, to start a small business.
What the flying fuck did that crazy woman just say?
I honestly have no idea what she's talking about.
How do you create conditions?
Better economic conditions?
What is she talking about?
You know, I have a beautiful lawn.
I actually think in my community here, I have the nicest landscaping.
I've poured a ton of money into landscaping.
I love doing it myself. | ||
I love working with my guy Rolando and we've put a lot of effort into it and we got banana trees and we got papaya and all sorts of stuff.
What does that have to do with lowering costs for people?
What does that have to do with an economic policy?
This woman is a Horrible, horrible candidate.
She should not be running for president.
But this is all they got left.
Because the other guy had dementia.
So they've left you with that.
It is completely, completely insane.
You know, there were a couple of times on the show last week, because you guys know, I like to give credit where credit is due.
And one of the things that mainstream media can't do is be wholly horrible all the time.
Every now, like they're pretty much, it's like a wall of horror, right?
Picture a wall of shit. | ||
Literally picture a wall of shit.
That is CNN. | ||
But every now and again, a little bit of truth can go like this to the shit, this is disgusting, and just kind of peek out.
That's it, sorry. | ||
I'm sorry for the imagery.
I'll work on something better than that.
But every now and again, it happens on CNN, and they have to let it happen.
They can't let it be completely shit everywhere because it would be too obvious.
So every now and again, somebody gets on CNN and says something insane.
A guy by the name of Ryan James Gerduski is an analyst now on CNN, and here he is talking about Kamala's flip-flopping and how she stands for nothing.
So you're gonna watch this, and I think we're gonna show you two parts.
They split-screen it, and I want you to watch Van Jones as Ryan is telling the truth.
Van cannot... | ||
It's not just Kamala Harris that's moved.
Our whole party was on some weird pogo stick in 2020.
We had all kinds of ideas that turned out to be bad ideas.
unidentified
|
It's called Black Lives Matter.
And she's yet to be able to explain why she shifted.
That was the poker stick.
It was equity. | ||
Actually, what I was going to say... Okay, but at 60 years old, which is about what she is, she had a transformational life experience, apparently, where in 1,000 days she has changed from a Bernie Sanders Democrat to a pro-choice Bush Democrat.
She has abandoned almost every position, not just on fracking, on reparations for the sentence of slaves.
She was gung-ho for a multi-trillion dollar policy.
Never mentions it. | ||
She's completely against it.
Yeah, that's right. | ||
He's just laying out basic stuff.
This woman has flipped on everything.
And note Van Jones. | ||
We're going to show you another clip right now.
Note Van Jones. | ||
Hold on for, I mean, I'll.
Yeah, that's right. | ||
He's just laying out basic stuff.
This woman has flipped on everything.
And note Van Jones, we're gonna show you another clip right now.
Note Van Jones, he cannot, you can see he just.
Little smirk, little smirk 'cause he's got nothing.
Because the woman doesn't stand for anything other than she is there to get power for the machine.
Here's a bit more. | ||
unidentified
|
She is the worst-polling Democrat against Donald Trump in history on national polls.
No one is performing worse than her.
No one is performing worse than her among blacks, among Hispanics, the worst-performing Democrat in modern history among the demographics, worst-performing polling-wise among Jews.
She is losing key factions of the Democratic-based Muslim voters.
She's at 52% in the latest CARE poll among black Muslims.
She is not doing well. | ||
That was interesting. | ||
I want to give Ryan credit there, like a sort of double credit, because first off, he's sitting with a whole bunch of unfriendlies, but notice he's laying out information.
He's talking about polling.
He's pointing to the specifics of the flip-flopping, as opposed to what they do with Trump.
He's a fascist! | ||
He's a racist! | ||
unidentified
|
It's just a clown show with that.
But look what happens. | ||
Look what happens when someone comes on there and calmly tells you the truth.
They sit there sort of slack-jawed, right?
It's as if they got slapped in the face.
They don't know what to say because it's actually indefensible.
So what else can they do?
If they see the thing going off the rails, because very few people except the brainwashed whoever and the elite of the elite believe in the Kamala Harris thing, And what else can they do?
Well, perhaps, ladles and jelly spoons, there might be some election shenanigans.
Check this out. | ||
No, but don't ban me. | ||
This is from the New York Times.
I'm just reading something.
This is from Colin Rugg, New.
The New York Times reports that election results will likely not be known on election night,
and the person who looks like the winner might not be remarkable.
The Times tells readers that the large delay in counting is because of the intense security measures, not fraud.
For the second straight presidential election, it is becoming increasingly likely
that there will be no clear and immediate winner on election night, and that early returns
could give a false impression of who will ultimately prevail, the New York Times reported.
If a winner is not declared on election night, it will not necessarily point to a failure in the process.
More likely, it will be the result of intense security measures required
for counting mail-in ballots.
So do you see what they're doing, guys?
They're seeding the ground, right?
What are they doing? | ||
They're going, man, this doesn't look particularly good for Kamala.
So we better start seeding the ground so that he won't get called that night.
So everyone will sort of be like, it'll sort of be like last time.
What happened? | ||
All the early states were going towards Trump.
Everybody thought Trump won.
Pipe bursts in Philly. | ||
Three hours later, they're closing up shop.
It's like, what the high hell happened?
Well, now they're just seeding out.
Now that will continue to happen.
Peter Thiel, a tech billionaire, a good buddy of mine, he went on the All In podcast, you know they had their big All In Summit a couple days ago, and they asked him about how we might be able to secure elections because everyone sort of feels like something weird is about to happen, and guess what?
It shouldn't go. | ||
I think our elections are not, they're not perfectly clean.
Otherwise, we could examine it.
We could have vigorous debate about it.
unidentified
|
Well, what would you change then?
What should change? | ||
Because we all want everybody's votes to count.
We want it to be clean. | ||
unidentified
|
I'm talking about the audience here.
At a minimum, you'd run them, you'd try to run elections the same way you do it in every other Western democracy.
You have one-day voting.
You have practically no absentee ballots.
You have And it's one day where everything happens.
It's not this two-month elongated process.
That's the way you do it in every other country.
You'd have some somewhat stronger voter ID and make sure that the people who are voting have a right to vote.
Make it a national holiday.
That's basically what you do in every other Western democracy.
And it used to be much more like that in the US.
I mean, it's meaningfully decayed over the last 20, 30 years.
20, 30 years ago, 30, 40 years ago, you got the results on the day of the vote, and that sort of stopped happening a while ago.
Really, if you want to sort of think about how far things have gone off the rails in this country, think about how insane this is.
Nothing he said there was that interesting other than the fact that it's not happening, right?
Of course it should be one day voting.
And yes, someone else on the panel, I'm not sure who it was, said the national holiday thing.
I'm completely for that.
Give everybody off that first Tuesday in November.
Get everybody out there to vote.
One day. | ||
Okay, no absentee ballots.
We can have some debate about there might be some minor reasons people are out of the country.
Okay, we can figure out something as it relates to that.
Voter ID, obviously, obviously.
I still can't find a black person without an ID.
Please, someone, Conor, that's what I want you to do for the rest of the day.
I want you to get out there.
You find me a black guy without an ID and you bring them here and they'll be on the Rubin Report tomorrow.
But they're talking about it and everyone's like, oh my God, it's so amazing, voter IDs, same day voting.
I was like, yeah, that's the shit that every other Western nation has, that we used to have, and only people who want to break brains and break elections would not want.
But people are waking up, and you know more and more people are waking up, and they're waking up because we can now see this great movement in this country.
There is an incredible sorting happening in this country.
It really started during COVID, but it has continued, this blue state, red state divide.
And I know in some ways it always feels a little bit weird.
We shouldn't be so divided.
And another way, it's exactly how the founders set this thing up.
You don't like high taxes, nonstop crime, homelessness, and all that in Cali, you don't like all the regulations so you can't open a restaurant, then you can move to Florida, you can move to Texas, et cetera, et cetera.
So Donald Trump, he went to Communist California over the weekend for a fundraiser, and Alex Michelson, I've been on his show a couple of times, he asked, he's fighting for California, God bless the guy, he asked Donald Trump why people like Elon Musk are leaving California.
unidentified
|
Mr. President, let's talk about California.
You are claiming that we need to do major changes in this state.
If you're president, what's the biggest policy difference for the people of California, and what would the nature of your relationship be with the leaders of California who you're calling scum?
How do you get that to work?
Well, I would have a great relationship with them, and what you have to do is start all over again.
Elon Musk is a friend of mine.
He endorsed me very powerfully.
He endorses me every time he speaks.
He really wants to see us win because he knows we can do a great job and turn it around.
He left California. | ||
I said to him, Elon, did anybody ever call you?
It's a big company. | ||
He moved to Texas. | ||
A lot of people moving to Texas.
Great state. | ||
Excellent governor and excellent lieutenant governor.
Great people. | ||
They love entrepreneurs.
They love the people that live there.
They want to keep their taxes low.
Taxes are way too high here.
But I said to Elon, so you have a big company and you're moving it to Texas from California.
Did anybody call you, like the governor, to try and get you to stay?
No. | ||
Did anybody see you write a letter, do anything to try and keep you to stay?
You have thousands of jobs.
He said nobody ever called.
There'd be so many things you could do.
This would be the easiest place to turn around if they knew what to do.
Look, look at it. | ||
I mean, look at the weather.
We're standing out here on the Pacific Ocean in the most beautiful weather.
A lot of states don't have weather like this.
They don't have Pacific Oceans.
So it's, uh, many things you could do.
But think of it. | ||
Elon Musk, a great guy, brilliant guy, big company, lots of jobs, leaving.
Nobody even calls him. | ||
To try and get him to stay.
I would have been on him.
I would have said, let's have lunch, let's have dinner, and then let's have breakfast the following morning, right?
What was the point of all that, guys?
A lot of states don't have Pacific Oceans, okay?
I'm thinking about maybe four, something like that.
Cali, Washington, maybe we could throw a Hawaii in there, and yeah, all right, yeah.
But you see, he just, it's just, he's just telling the truth.
So Elon's set to leave because of regulation and taxes, and you guys have seen that video.
I've shown it to a million times when I met with Elon the first time, and I walked outside of Twitter headquarters, so I'm literally meeting with the world's richest man, and I walk downstairs, and it's a, Freaking zombie apocalypse of homeless people and drugs absolutely everywhere.
So he is taking his companies out.
And as Trump points out, did anyone call you?
Did maybe even, forget Gavin Newsom, right?
He's the devil incarnate.
But maybe did the mayor of San Francisco call you to be like, ah, you know, if you leave, you're gonna take these thousands of people and jobs and you know, they're probably somewhat functional people and we need these types of people in our city.
But nobody called. | ||
Gavin Newsom believes it is a win.
When someone like Elon Musk leaves and it is a win for the people of Texas who will now have more money coming in and more tax revenue and they will build new infrastructure and they will have great companies there.
Why is it that I'm here in Miami?
Well, you know why because of the COVID stuff of why I left LA, but Miami now has become the tech hub that Silicon Valley, San Francisco, in essence, used to be.
Now all of the people live here and are building great things here.
It's freaking awesome.
And yes, X, Twitter, it did leave.
Check this out from Adrian Dittman.
News, X is set to close its headquarters in San Francisco today.
And if you look at that image a little more closely, that street right there, that is the street that I took that crazy viral video of just zombie apocalypse.
And I stood up in that, it might've been in that window right there that you're seeing in that corner window.
I stood there with Elon and He literally was pointing.
He was going, oh, and here's where the homeless people, they buy the drugs over here.
And then he showed, and then they walk over to that corner.
That's where they do all the drugs.
And then he said, and then you can see them.
They all go hunched over and then they walk over there.
It's like, that is not how it is supposed to be in America.
It's not how it's supposed to be anywhere.
But Cali does not want to stop it.
Of course, Elon Musk is not the only big tech billionaire talking about these things and now supporting Trump and trying to move to greener pastures and everything else.
Palantir's CEO, Alex Karp, I've shown a couple of videos of him over the last couple of months, he went on Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday and also talked about how he took his company from shocking California to Denver.
Now, Colorado, little purplish, but certainly better than Cali.
Take a look. | ||
unidentified
|
Could you do something here in the state of California this weekend?
We could really use someone.
And I know you... | ||
unidentified
|
We actually want help to get it.
I mean, you left California.
I left California. | ||
Like another guy who's involved in some of this kind of stuff, which is Elon Musk.
unidentified
|
Yeah, we were the two biggest companies to leave California early.
And the two biggest that are involved in the defense of our country.
I mean, Starlink is very important.
Well, I feel like, look, I owe California a great debt of gratitude.
I went to school here, I built a company here.
Obviously, California has gone in the past way too far on this kind of hyper woke.
unidentified
|
We can get nothing done, but we, it doesn't have to work because we pretend it works because
we're good people thing.
And I got to tell you, I love that the audience applauded at that line because that in essence
is what liberals have become.
Oh, we just say we're good people, so we do all these things that we think they're good, and then somehow the results of these things have nothing to do with us.
And Bill gets it, but Bill, I might offer that you get a mirror, because you support Gavin Newsom, and said that if he ran for president, you would've voted for the guy, so we'll work on that.
Anywho, California continues to crumble, and Donald Trump was at a rally in Nevada over the weekend.
Look, I said Nevada, right?
Pretty good. | ||
And was talking about how Hollywood may start moving out of Hollywood.
And if I pull this off with the help of your governor, a lot of Hollywood will be moving from California because right now you don't have the land because you don't have the land.
It's owned by the federal government.
We're going to open up that land to you.
You'll be able to build studio lots and everything else.
Millions and millions of Americans will be able to take part in building these clean, safe, and beautiful new communities.
All right, again, it's kind of specific, right?
We're gonna open up land.
We're gonna stop the feds from closing this land.
We'll open it up. | ||
We'll get business to come here.
Now, of course, what sort of sits with that is you don't want too many of the wokesters moving to Nevada and then it becomes blue.
So that's something that always has to be dealt with as we see this thwarting and everything else.
But like, oh, we will help you create opportunity and Hollywood is crumbling.
Well, how about we build it right here?
And there's a lot of evidence that that's actually happening right now.
Mark Wahlberg, aka Marky Mark from back in my day, here he is talking about his mission to bring film studios to Nevada.
unidentified
|
I mean, look what the Raiders have done and now what the Knights are doing.
I mean, it's incredible.
You know, you got F1, you got the Super Bowl.
I mean, if you really want to make a splash, I'm hoping to premiere my next film here and hoping to make lots of films here and move lots of studios and streamers and everybody here to create new jobs, new industry.
I think it's got everything to offer and, you know, it's just a matter of time.
Not trying to make it my own Boston.
Certainly trying to just, you know, bring something to the table when coming to Las Vegas because Las Vegas, obviously, it has so much to offer.
I think when people hear Las Vegas, they think of the Strip and casinos, which is fine, but 20 minutes away, it's one of the most amazing communities that I've ever been a part of.
It's all about faith and family and, you know, it's thriving.
The kids are doing fantastic.
Yeah. | ||
It's very much about family here, which I love.
But I wanted to come with something to offer myself, whether it be hopefully bringing the film industry here, bringing a factory here to make shoes and apparel, and creating other opportunities and jobs.
I want to enrich the community and be a part of something.
Like I said, Vegas is so generous.
I've been welcomed with open arms, but I absolutely love it here.
And I think people are excited about the idea of a new industry.
You know that thing I always say about when people are telling the truth, it's just easy, like you just hear it and it's kind of right and good, and it's like, this guy's got a ton of businesses, right?
It's not just Boogie Nights actor Mark Wahlberg, right?
He's got Wahlburgers, he's got fitness stuff, like all this.
I've seen videos of his house when he lived in Beverly Hills.
He had this $20 million, the sickest house you could ever imagine.
This is not someone that wanted to pick up and go, but he saw what was happening there and said, oh, there are places where I can do this better, and I can be part of something that is building and thriving.
And that really is the message right now for America.
Which way do we want to go?
Do we want to be more like California, or do we want to be more like, I don't know, say a Nevada that is thriving, or a Florida that is thriving, or a Texas that is thriving, or do we want to be more like New York and Cali?
Like, that really is the choice when you really whittle it down.
More and more people are waking up to this.
And you know what? | ||
There's always that bright bar line about how politics is downstream from culture.
Well, here are two California refugees.
Well, it's a couple of California refugees, actually.
It's the Nelk Boys and Bryce Hall.
These are all big online TikTok type people.
Doesn't matter if you know them or not, but they're popular with the kids.
And they went to the Trump rally in Nevada and endorsed the guy.
And again, it's just another touchstone of what's shifting right now.

|
We need Trump back and we need him back bad.
(crowd cheering) | ||
One more thing I know that's passionate about, Governor Tim Walz, he put a 95% tax on Zin.
We gotta get that removed, President Trump!
Trump 2024, that's it. | ||
That's it. Let's fucking go.
[Applause] | ||
We need Trump back. Really bad.
(audience cheering) | ||
Make America great again.
All right, again, you may not know about these people, you may not care about these people, they're young, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but it is showing that something is shifting.
And also, I love how Trump is just like, get up there, say a few words, and then the guy just drops the F-bomb just like that.
It's just like, it's real and it's authentic, that's the thing.
And by the way, it's also coming It's coming from all over the place, right?
I always talk about these fighters that are waking up and then there's the actors and the video game people
and all these comedians and all that.
Here's Latin music star, Nicky Jam, who I think is half Puerto Rican, half Dominican,
if I'm not mistaken. | ||
I don't really care about that other than to show you that these communities that perhaps aren't supposed
to be Republican, they're coming around too.
I'm glad he came up. | ||

|
It's an honor to meet you, Mr. President.
People that come from where I come from, they don't meet the President, so I'm really, I'm lucky I'm gonna say this, but we need you.
We need you back, right?
We need you to be the President.
And apart from that, I gotta say this in Spanish.
Han pasado cuatro años y no ha pasado nada.
Necesitamos a Trump. | ||
Let's make America great again.
Thank you. | ||
Great job. | ||
So again, you may not care that much about that guy specifically, maybe you do, but the point is all of these people are just coming up, and again, Trump, just get up there and say something.
You don't know what the hell the guy's gonna say.
Donde esta la biblioteca?
He has no idea what the guy's gonna say, but there he goes and says it.
We've got UFC champ, his name, Henry Cejudo, and here he is on why Trump's gotta do this.
This guy is a winner. | ||

|
Say something. | |
Well, Mr. President, I'm just honored, and I think I would have just bent a knee.
I would never fight you for what you do for our country and the fact that you were willing to risk your life.
You have no reason to do this, but you're doing this for the people.
It means a lot. | ||
And as I told you before, President, I love this country so much, Mr. President, that I named my daughter America.
And I appreciate what you've done, and I appreciate what you're doing, and let's continue to keep making America great again.
I mean, look at it. | ||
He names his daughter America with smiles and love.
Are all of these people racists?
Are all of these people fascists?
Are all of these people the worst possible things you could come up with?
Extreme MAGA Republicans?
Like, it's absolutely insane.
I'm never gonna get over this give the mic up thing.
Do you know what narcissistic loons most politicians are?
They can never, never, never give up the mic.
You know, when you're a performer and you get on stage with a mic, the last thing you wanna do is give up the mic, because you're gonna always give it up to someone who's never gonna give it back to you.
And there's Trump just doing it.
Say a couple things, I don't know, whatever you're gonna say, go ahead and say it.
I wanna just throw back to that quote from Trump from earlier.
I feel like it's a nice way to put a button, a pin in this show.
There were gunshots in my, oh, sorry, no, how about this?
Nothing will slow me down.
I will never surrender.
I will always love you for supporting me.
Unity, peace, make America great again.
May God bless you. | ||
That's it, guys. | ||
That is it. | ||
We got a chance right now.
Again, we were so damn close to the precipice yesterday.
Think about how this could have just gone wrong, and we would have done something very, very different today, and the country would be very, very different.
That would not be good. | ||
That would not be good. | ||
We've got a funny cold close for you.
Reminder, we've got a whole bunch of new merch, including the new Rubin Report logo mug over at jbrubin.store.
We've got a post-game show coming up for you in about 30 seconds.
Rubinreport.locals.com.
Goodbye. | ||

Because this started, and I love this story, as a young prostitute. |
