Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
All right, look, it's no big deal, folks.
Everybody knew it was coming.
No reason to get all down in the dumps here.
I'm not gonna put up with it.
There's literally no excuse for being down in the dumps and depressed.
What did you think?
That Nurse Ratchet was gonna commit herself to the asylum last night.
Did you think she was gonna fall flat on her face?
Did you think she was gonna erupt into a coughing spasm?
Bill Clinton was gonna file for divorce.
What did you think was gonna happen last night?
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's open line Friday.
Yes, sir, Rebub, open line Friday.
It's great to have you here, Rush Limbaugh wrapping up a Sterling Busy Broadcast Week.
It's a delight, it's a thrill to be with you and to have you here all at the same time.
The telephone number if you want to be on the program, and I know you do.
Mr. Snerdley standing by eagerly.
Open line Friday at 800 282-2882.
And remember what Open Line Friday is.
Talk about whatever you want to talk about.
I can kind of guess what it's gonna be, but if it isn't, it could be anything.
That's the purpose of Open Line Friday.
It's amazing how things repeat despite people's best instincts and despite how prepared people are.
Uh I began to get word today that and I do not spend a lot of time at Facebook and Twitter.
I I find out what's happening there by other people spending time there and telling me.
So I don't really know from firsthand knowledge, but I'm being told by two or three people that uh uh the Republican side of things is really down in the dumps on Twitter and Facebook today.
And I gathered that one of the main reasons for it is again the drive-bys.
Some for some reason people were expecting the drive-bys to focus on the negatives of Nurse Ratchet.
And since they're not, since they're actually building her up, it's a bad what did you think was gonna happen?
Look, I don't mean to sound lecturing here, and I I'm not wagging my finger, but come on, what did you expect was gonna happen?
In fact, let me tell you, this isn't an this is an interesting observation.
Grab audio soundbite number.
We put together a montage.
And I'm gonna play this montage.
I'm gonna tell you what it is.
I just want it to hit you.
I want you to listen to it at uh 41 42 seconds here.
And then I, of course, will have expert commentary and analysis after playing this, but get a load of this.
I felt like I could have been at the Republican convention.
I don't think it gets any more red, white, and blue on a convention floor to see a democratic convention in such a spasm of patriotism.
They were taking it seemed like a page from the Republican playbook.
Republican messages being delivered at a Democratic National Convention.
Remember when USA USA was considered a solely Republican chant.
Morality of religion of patriotism.
I mean, these are not ordinarily, I mean, the tone of this that we've heard is not your typical Democratic convention.
This is incredible.
You heard more about God and more about the military at the Democratic convention than you did at the Republican convention.
I thought this was the best Republican convention I've been to in a long time.
Okay, now that was Michael Steele, the last voice.
Let me tell you who you heard here.
You're Dirty Woodruff, Susan Davis, Gwyn Eiffel, Jennifer Griffin, Kevin Madden, Van Jones, the the known communists of CNO as the admitted, the admitted, the lone admitted communist at CNN.
They have Anderson Cooper in there from CNN and John King.
This is stunning to me.
There are many things going on.
Number one, this montage is filled with drive-by media people admitting that you normally don't get anything pro-America or patriotic at a Democrat convention.
You have a drive-by guy admitting here the chance of USA USA.
Why, we're not used to hearing that at the Democrat convention.
We only hear that kind of thing at the Republican convention.
I even saw there was a tweet one night earlier this week.
I think it was uh Shannon Bream at the Fox News Channel tweeted that uh somebody sitting in the in the crowd at the convention got mad when the chant in the hall was USA, USA, and this this conventier said we gotta stop doing that.
That's Trump.
That's the that's Trump's slogan, USA, USA.
So here you have a bunch of left wing drive-by media people, first thing acknowledging that you don't get patriotism at a Democrat convention usually.
You don't even get pro-America at a Democrat convention, usually.
Gwynne Eiffel called what happened last night a spasm of patriotism.
They're not saying this in the slightest bit.
Critically, folks.
They're just observing.
You heard more about God and more about the military at the Democrat convention than you did at so they know.
The bottom line is they know that you don't get patriotism, you don't get God, you don't get the American founding, you don't get American tradition at a Democrat convention.
Okay, fine.
But when you do get those things at a Republican convention, what happens?
The media rips them to shreds, do they not?
The media rips them to shreds for phony displays of patriotism, cheap theatrics.
They go out of their way to try to convince everybody that the Republicans are a bunch of phonies, and this patriot could because they're embarrassed.
They're embarrassed that the Democrats never do it.
So they have to circle the wagons and somehow defend the Democrats' lack of this.
No God, no patriotism, no flags, no USA.
At the Democrats convention, every four years, they have to cover that by mocking the Republicans' inclusion of all those things.
But last night, why here come the Democrats looking like Republicans, and they're all a Twitter.
Why they're all approving.
They're all happy.
They all think it was great.
You talk about people with a with an identification problem.
I mean, this just illustrates so much to me.
It illustrates their partisan nature.
It illustrates that they know exactly what they're doing.
They know exactly who the Democrats are.
They know exactly what patriotism is and what it isn't.
They know what pro-America and anti-America is, and they know that anti-America, or the lack of pro-America, let me put it that way, is the usual fair at the Democrat convention.
But last night we got it, and they're all excited about it.
Why are they all excited about it?
Because they know it works for the Republicans.
That's why they resent that it works for the Republicans.
They think it's cheap.
Don't forget the surveys that we reminded you of yesterday from Harvard University.
These are a couple of years old.
The surveys that indicate these are public opinion surveys that indicated the Democrats should never use the American flag because all it does is make people feel like Republicans.
And you shouldn't.
Fourth of July celebrations are bad because they they tend to make people pro-Republican.
The flag celebrations of the country, our independence, our founding bad for Democrats.
Why?
Well, because the Democrats are not on that page.
So last night the Democrats decided after three nights of not being able to spot an American flag.
After three nights of not hearing much at all positive about the founding, they decided to dip their toes in the water and go there for whatever reasons.
And I think my best guess is that they concluded that the Republican convention with Trump detailing the problems that we face in this country was dark and it was negative and it was pessimistic.
And that's where they don't understand.
When they do that kind of stuff, it is pessimistic.
When they sit there and whine and moan about the lack of equality or the discrimination or the racism or the bigotry, that is negative.
They are beating up on America.
The Democrat Party's known for that, and this soundbite kind of proves it.
This soundbite illustrates this montage that the drive-by media is aware That the Democrat Party normally and is known for, beats up on America.
They know it.
And they never call them on it.
They cover for them on it.
By mocking the Republicans when the Republicans are all patriotic and pro-America, red, white, and blue.
God, second amendment.
Oh, they hate that.
But the Democrats doing it all of a sudden they're in love with it.
But the Republican Convention was not dark and it was not pessimistic.
It was a it was an identification of problems that we face with a call to fix it, a call to change the direction the country's going, and the drive-bys are doing their best to convince everybody that the Republican Convention was nothing but dystopian.
They know that's what the Democrat Party is.
999 out of every 1,000 days.
Last night being the exception.
And last night was an act.
Last night required a script for people to say what they said last night.
Last night they had to put it all on the prompter because none of it comes naturally to any of the people that spoke last night.
Including Nurse Ratchet.
When's the last time you can remember the media hyping and celebrating the flag, patriotism, USA?
They don't do it because it's associated with the Republicans and conservatives, and they can't bring themselves to do that.
But when the Democrats go and appropriate it for one night, oh my gosh, it's the most wonderful thing.
It's a beautiful thing.
Now, as you will hear coming up in the audio sound bites, the initial reaction after Nurse Ratchet's speech last night was from liberal Democrats and from people who wanted her to do well was not good.
It was not great.
You hand the obligatories who were going to say, oh my God, oh my God, it was historic.
Oh my God, it was a woman.
Do you realize what it means for our country?
And so people assigned greatness to the speech simply because it was given by a woman.
Which is nothing more than identity politics.
So what?
What does that matter?
Doesn't it matter who the woman is?
And doesn't it matter what that woman believes?
Or are we just all supposed to forget everything, bow down, and celebrate the fact that once again America has shed a horrible vestige of its past.
Discrimination against the babes.
Yes, and for that alone, we are to openly accept whatever the woman on the stage said license.
Sorry, don't sign me up for that.
I don't get caught up in this identity stuff.
Doesn't matter to me that she's got a vagina or not.
What matters to me is the fact that this woman is Barack Obama.
She is exactly Barack Obama and is going to enact Barack Obama and even more.
She is a liberal.
You could almost get away with it, and I've some people have alluded to this, certain websites today, to what we really saw last night was the Communist Party USA on display.
Complete with all the deception, patriotism and this and that and all the other.
But there were the obligatories.
Oh, they were fawning.
Oh, it was so wonderful.
Oh, she's gonna get a big bounce.
Oh, it was so great.
It wasn't.
It was workmanlike.
She'd been in public life 30 years.
She hasn't improved giving speeches.
She hasn't improved at anything.
Anyway, we'll parse it.
We'll go through it a little bit.
I don't want to spend a whole lot of time doing that, but there's some things worth uh mentioning.
And we've got a pretty good audio soundbite roster here.
But folks, don't get down on the dumps here.
Especially, especially because the media, you the media, you know what they're gonna do before they do it.
I have been cajoling, I have been warning, I have been advising, I have been begging, I have been pleading with people.
Do not include in however you define success the media in it.
In other words, don't think that the only way we have a chance is if the media comes around and starts criticizing the people we criticize, because it isn't going to happen.
Hell, Wolf Blitzer Was having wine and dancing and drinking and just having a ball at a CBS in the CNN booth at the convention last night.
I saw the picture during show prep today and Drudge found it and it's got his yep to lead photo.
I mean, they are who they are.
They do what they do.
They are hypocritical as they can be, and they're fully aware of everything they're doing.
And one of the things they want you to do is get down on the dumps.
One of the things they want you to do is get dispirited.
One of the things they want you to do is to think it's over.
But don't.
Because it isn't.
Because it's not a cliche to say.
The whole thing's just now beginning.
I don't recall, I d uh any drive-by saying a convention was ever uh an election was won at a convention.
We're not a world governed by the aggressive use of speeches.
And I don't recall anybody saying that the convention was won.
You remember that speech?
Remember that speech that FDR gave that speech LBJ?
You remember that speech, Nixon gave it to me.
You I don't remember that, do you?
Maybe with some of the debates, yeah, but not convention speeches.
I mean, the best the drive-by's could do was try to tell us the election was over in June.
Oh, yeah, you didn't remember that.
The uh uh polling data shows that whoever's leading in June usually wins, and Hillary was up by 11 in June, and so it was over.
A new metric.
Polling data in June tells us who wins.
Except now Hillary's not leading.
We'll see how big of a bump she gets, probably gets some, I don't know how much.
Uh but her negatives are still sky high.
73% untrustworthy, unlikable.
That didn't change anything last night.
Here's another way to look at this patriotism stuff.
But and there were some protests.
There were some Bernie Sanders people not happy with what they were hearing last night.
It's just the Clinton people knew when they were gonna rub.
When you were watching last night and heard Hillary, Hillary, that's when the Bernie people were revved up.
And uh and they were on several occasions during the speech last night.
But imagine that you are a Bernie Sanders.
You're your standard ordinary, everyday progressive Democrat today.
You hear all this patriotism stuff.
You got one of two reactions.
You either get mad or you stop and say, Ah, I know she doesn't mean it.
She just has to say this.
But it's still got a grate on you.
That if as a progressive, as a died in the wool, extreme radical leftist does it, it have to grate on you that your party thinks in order to win they have to sound like Republicans back in Justice Ect.
Okay, folks, some observations here as I again attempt to, for those of you not panicking but feeling down on the dumps and trying to talk you back from that.
Look, we got to admit some things.
We're a divided country, and we don't know yet if we're outnumbered or not.
Many people fear that we are, but we're divided.
We're divided.
There are two Americas minimum.
There's not a single common America where there's overlap.
We are at least two distinct Americas.
And those two distinct Americas just happen to be represented in the upcoming election.
We're gonna learn a lot.
On the one hand, we have the Democrats who are seasoned, professional, BSing politicians, and lobbyists, and consultants and polsters.
They are the epitome of the quintessential establishment of Washington.
In fact, the Hillary Clinton campaign epitomizes the dominant class of the Washington establishment, because Republicans are in it too, but they don't run it.
The Republicans in the establishment are essentially every day trying to earn their daily membership, and that means going along with Democrats.
The Democrats run the establishment.
Here we have Trump and the anti-establishment America that he represents.
And it is going to be a battle all the way down to the wire.
And we're going to find out who outnumbers Who here?
By the way, that's still up for grabs, the campaign's all about inspiring, motivating, changing minds, persuading, you name it.
But we are divided.
That's why this whole notion of crossing the aisle and working with people, that's that's not what this campaign's about.
In fact, I was a little surprised to hear Hillary use it last night in her speech.
The Democrats don't want crossing the aisle.
The only thing those progressive liberals and those extremist radicals care about is burying us.
They have no desire for compromise to find out whatever there might be that's good about what we believe there isn't anything.
So don't expect the part of the media that represents the Washington establishment to in any way be open and accommodating and understanding of those of us who are not in it.
you're going to be forever doomed to disappointment.
One of Hillary's favorite lines is, It Takes a Village, title of her book, and so forth.
Which, hey, is fine.
I'm I'm all cool with communities helping each other, families, churches, and all that people working together.
Nobody reasonable uh objects to that.
But that's not what Hillary means.
That's what she wants you to think it takes a village means.
But that's not what it means.
I kind of cringe.
I really do when I hear these people like last night uh referencing the Declaration of Independence.
Well, I'll tell you why it makes me cringe.
I I cringe when I hear them referencing the Constitution.
Because it makes me cringe because both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were written to define to guarantee individual liberty.
But Hillary Clinton tried to tell the dumbed down population, part of this population been educated by Democrats, that the Founding Fathers knew it takes a village.
Well, everybody knows that it takes families, that it takes communities, everything, but but not to raise a child, it just takes, you know, people work together.
The idea that rugged individualism means, and they're trying to misdefine this too, the idea that rugged individualism means that nobody knows anybody else, and everybody tells everybody else to go to hell, and everybody does everything to do on their what poppycock, but that's what they want you to think rugged individualism is.
And by the same token, they want to try to appropriate the express references to individual liberty.
The purpose of the U.S. Constitution, the express purpose was to limit the power of government.
Well, I'm here to tell you that Nurse Ratchet does not believe in that, just like Obama doesn't.
They have a problem with that, in fact.
They have a problem with the Constitution limiting the government.
They don't want any limits.
So they've come along and they have appropriated it takes a village as something the founders meant.
They knew it took a village in their world, village means the government.
Controlling authorities, state government, local government, federal government.
And that just isn't true.
So here's what Hillary Clinton tried to do last night.
She tried to embrace America's birth.
But she couldn't do it.
She then aborted America's birth, explaining how she would butcher and sell off the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Tenth Amendment.
Well, she didn't mention these specifically, but that's what she meant.
She defined, she defined the problem areas that she had.
First Amendment, big problem.
What do you mean, Rush?
What do you mean?
Citizens United, Folks.
Citizens United is a group of people that were not permitted under current election law to donate to candidates or causes.
They created a movie.
They created a movie critical of Hillary Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton didn't want that movie seen.
Mrs. Clinton and her agents went to court to try to deny Citizens United any opportunity to fundraise to develop and produce the movie.
The case went all the way to the Supreme Court, and Supreme Court found in favor of Citizens United, which meant that now corporate entities, the Democrats say are not people, corporate entities are just as entitled to be in politics as unions are.
Prior to Citizens United, corporations were not allowed to be involved in politics.
They couldn't donate, they couldn't do it.
No, they can buy candidates like corporations have bought Hillary Clinton.
I'm getting ahead of myself, but here she goes ripping on Wall Street last night and those doom corps in that audience.
Yay, you tell them, Hillary, Wall Street owns her.
Wall Street owns the Democrat Party.
Wall Street donates almost 90% of every dollar it gives to the Democrat Party.
Hillary Clinton was making $250,000 for every 20-minute speech she gave to a Wall Street bank or hedge fund or institution to the tune of $21 million in two years.
They own her.
So they know she doesn't mean it when she talks about ravaging them and savaging them.
There's a wink and a nod there.
What they know is she's gonna protect them.
At the end of the day, what they know is they're gonna get what they want policy-wise, because they've already bought it, just like a whole bunch of foreign nations have.
That's what the hundred million plus dollars to the Clinton Foundation represents.
It's what it's all about.
But one Citizens United literally was about a movie made about Hillary Clinton.
She doesn't want people to be able to make movies critical of her.
Do not doubt me.
If you think nobody can be that petty, come on, Rushy.
She's got a thicker skin than that.
No, she doesn't.
And if they have to, they're gonna do a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United because they do not want corporate or professional entities on our side of America to be able to fund election activities.
They're perfectly fine with unions doing it and all these nonprofits doing it.
So that's the attack of the First Amendment.
The second amendment you don't doubt me on this, do you, with that gobbledygook that she said about guns last night?
She goes through the regular motions.
I don't care.
I just don't want you getting shot by a gun with somebody by somebody who shouldn't have one.
Well, who is that?
We already have laws that define, and we have background checks that define who can and can't get a gun.
No, Hillary wants to be in charge of who can get a gun, and she wants the answer to be nobody.
The Tenth Amendment, that was her all-out assault on the states and what they do vis-a-vis Obamacare and health care.
Do not doubt me.
She didn't say that she's going to assault the First Amendment, Second Amendment, or the Tenth Amendment.
That's what she did.
She embraced the founding of America.
She embraced America's birth and promptly aborted it.
Much of what she said last night's in direct conflict with the letter and the spirit of the Constitution.
Her purpose is to steamroll states' rights, centralized power to make private property and free markets a distant memory.
Hillary Clinton's America is an America that King George might actually have embraced.
Hillary Clinton's America is an America that may not have even had to seek its independence.
Hillary Clinton's America is an America that may not have ever really needed To rebel because Hillary Clinton's America establishes the very things and more that our founding fathers pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to overthrow.
Hillary Clinton's America would pretty much within the realm of modern times reinstitute much of what led to our nation's founding.
Now I mentioned that were some the immediate reaction, and this is the key.
This is the best, I think.
Not after everybody's had a night to get over the hangover and think about it the next day.
The immediate reaction to her speech.
Remember, there's a lot of expectations.
The drive-by's knew it wasn't going to be that good, but tell us by telling us.
I mean, if I saw one, I saw 50 people last night warn us, look, there's no way you could follow Obama.
Come on.
There's no way you can follow Michelle Obama.
Oh my God, the greatest speech of the convention.
There's no way you can follow that.
No.
Bill Clinton, even with Weak of Boy.
No, no, no way you can follow Bill.
Barack Obama for crying out loud.
No, nobody's expecting Mrs. Clinton.
So they were tamping down expectations, but they were hoping that they would see a Hillary they haven't seen.
They were hoping they would see a human Hillary, a lifelike Hillary, an energetic Hillary.
They were hoping they would see a stemwinder Hillary.
They were hoping they would see a Hillary that doesn't exist.
And they didn't.
And when you listen to the sound bites, you plainly hear that, discovered it.
Well, first start with NBC special election coverage.
Lester Holt asking F. Chuck Todd, hey, Chuck, the bar was high tonight.
The bar was really high for Hillary Clinton.
How did she measure up?
Stemwinder and Hillary Clinton are never going to be in the same sense.
I was amazed at how comfortable she is pushing a very progressive agenda.
This was a speech that Bernie Sanders could have given.
By the way, more references by her about Trump than Trump did in his speech last week about her.
Okay, so how do we parse this?
Because we just played the soundbite where the drive-bys just love the fact that the Democrats put on this all God, all America patriotic convention night last night.
They ate it up.
They loved it.
They hate it when Republicans do it, but they loved it last night.
And yet, F. Chuck comes along, says, I was amazed at how comfortable she is pushing a very progressive agenda.
Well, what is it?
We either got a pro-patriotic, pro-American, red, white, and blue, lots of flags everywhere, America's great night of the convention.
Or we didn't, which is it?
How can she give this massively great progressive agenda speech with all that other stuff going on?
My point is the drive-bys will mislead you no matter how they have to.
They will lie to you, they know full well what they're doing.
Not to say they're not closed-minded and ignorant at the same time, but they know what they're doing.
They know what they're trying to do.
Does it matter, by the way, that she mentioned Trump's name a lot more than Trump mentioned hers?
Well, there's two schools of thought on that.
One is, you can react and say, Boy, is Trump living rent-free in her head.
On the other token, I got a piece.
This is really good piece by Kimberly Strassel at the Wall Street Journal, who says that essentially this is a one-candidate race, a one-person presidential race.
It's Hillary against Hillary.
That Hillary's problem is Hillary.
She's running against her own ethical morass.
She somehow, the only hope she has.
She can't erase who she is.
The only hope she has is to destroy and decimate Trump.
So if you look at it from that standpoint, of course, she's going to mention Trump much more than he's going to mention her.
The political professionals will tell you, of course you do that.
Mrs. Clinton's a known figure, 30 years.
She's got to define Trump.
She's got to destroy Trump because she can't build herself up.
Uh, been there, done that.
I mean, those that ship has sailed.
She is who she is.
So I think you should expect from here on outhing but a never-ending continual assault on everything Trump.
In fact, the latest one.
Last night Trump did a he had an appearance somewhere, and he got all ticked off about Doomberg.
And Trump's saying, I felt, boy, you know, I really wanted to hit him.
And he made a fist and pounded the palm of it.
Hit him.
So the story is today, Trump's deranged.
Trump's dangerous.
Trump would actually hit Hillary.
Trump would actually use fists on his opponent.
This is how they're going to do it.
Yeah.
So uh anyway, they're gonna that's Hillary telegraphed what they're gonna do.
They don't they don't care that the reactions go, oh my God, Trump must be living rent-free in in your head.
No, no, no.
They really don't have much they can do to build her up.
They have got to.
By the way, folks, this is they can't defeat us in the arena of ideas.
The Democrats try to destroy every one of our prominent people every day.
That's their modus operandi.
The Democrat Party does not deal with ideas.
They do not debate us on those things.
Their objective is to destroy the character, the career, the lives of every credible opponent they face.
Why should it be any different here?
Trump is going to be a target, and he's gonna be a never-ending target, and they're not gonna let up no matter how it works, good or bad.
Okay, before we grab a phone call, audio sound by number five, Bob Schiefer last night on uh CBS.
Scott Pelley said, Hey, Bob, you've been at every convention since 1840.
You were in Cleveland.
Uh we we've now seen the end of this one.
How do you assess where we are, Bob?
The way they were telling it tonight, all you need to do is print on the bumper sticker Donald Trump.
Yes or no.
This is a campaign.
It's gonna be about Donald Trump.
Do you want him or do you not want him?
Are you willing to trust him in the most powerful office in the country?
See, folks, my they're not out singing the praises of Hillary Clinton.
They did it in the immediate post, great speech, they had to do that, but it's acknowledging there, everybody's admitting here that that this Hill Hillary cannot.
She can't ri she can't raise her negatives.
She's uh too well known.
She's baked in.
They've got to go out and try to destroy Trump.
And they're gonna and any defection from Trump, any high quality or high profile defection, is gonna be a hero.
Somebody currently in the Trump camp decides to split for whatever reason, they're gonna be the biggest hero you have ever seen.
So we're gonna find out.
We got the professionals, the political professionals in the establishment running a campaign like they think they ought to be run, versus the novices over here, the outsiders.
You got some professionals in it, but it's basically an outside the establishment campaign.
We're gonna find out where America is.
Dave in Sandusky, Ohio, as we um hit on the phones today, open line Friday, your first and welcome.
Great to have you here.
Hello, Rush.
Many dittos from Maisomani, Wisconsin.
We're just traveling through Ohio, heading back from Canton.
My boy and I, Dawson and I, went to see the Football Hall of Fame.
Right.
I just wanted to assure you, uh Hillary's not uh fooling us and letter teeth talking.
Uh last night it really caught our attention when she started talking about the royalty and the king and our founding fathers fighting the king and establishment.
Well, she's the epitome of it.
And it's the last thing we want, and uh, we are so enthusiastic about Trump and and beating that trend or a new beginning for our country, or getting back to the basics of the Constitution and upholding the laws that we have.
So uh no worries.
I didn't want you to stress all weekend.
I thought my my phone call would lend you much comfort.
Oh my well, well, I appreciate that.
I'm not stressed.
I didn't mean to convey that.
I'm detecting stress and depression and down in a dumpsism and pessimism.
Well, look, I have not seen it myself.
I'm told it's out there on Twitter and Facebook, and I just believed it because it's been the case in the past.
And it's usually rooted, you know, you you you you have a great week, you think where the Democrats have made fools of themselves and uh all this various stuff that Fox News tells you and the blogs that you read tell you, and then you watch the drive-by and you think, well, they're lying.
And you think there's no way to overcome them, you get depressed.
And I'm telling you, that's nothing new, but they're never gonna be on our side, so it's a it's a phony definition of success.
Anyway, I appreciate it, uh, Dave.
