Time Text
I have a question, serious question for those of you in the audience that think of yourselves as Democrats, as progressives, as liberals.
Actually, I have tons of questions.
But I have one question based on some things Hillary was saying last night that I want to ask you.
Live from the Southern Command in Sunny South Florida.
It's open line Friday.
You are tuned to the most listened to radio talk show in the country.
You're tuned to the most talked-about radio talk show in the country, and you are listening to the most talked-about host of the most listened-to talk show in the country.
Often imitated, often mimicked, often copied, never equaled.
All while meeting and surpassing audience expectations every day.
And Open Line Friday means that you can call and ask anything you want.
You can discuss anything you want.
You can observe anything you want.
You can whine about anything you want.
You complain about anything you want.
Have at it.
800-282-2882.
I'll get to my question for you, progressives, because just uh Jeffy, I I want to just go through a quick review of Mrs. Clinton's speech as I saw it last night.
One of the first things that struck me, and it it actually didn't strike me last night, it struck me on previous nights, this effort to humanize Hillary.
I guess it started with Bill Clinton's fairy tale.
In 1971, I met a girl.
By the way, I had to do some things with the bank today.
Start calling her, hey girls.
And they said, What?
And I said, Is it okay now?
Clinton called Hillary a girl.
What are you talking about?
They hadn't seen it.
So I had to explain it to them.
They laughed.
They like me.
They know I'm not a chauvinist pig, and they would like me even if I were.
But uh, 1971, I met a girl.
And if you believe the rest of this, I'm not surprised, because I have smoked your ass the whole time I've been in public life, but here goes.
So Clinton tells this fairy tale.
It's all about humanizing Hillary Clinton.
I said, why do they want to do this?
Don't doesn't they, might they not think it better to present a tough as nails Hillary for purposes of dealing with all the problems we have here?
I mean, why humanize somebody that 30 years if you have to humanize somebody?
It's think about that term anyway, just in and of itself.
I mean, Hillary is a human being.
Of this we are sure.
She's been in public life.
I say 30 years, but it's actually longer than that.
What is this?
Have to humanize.
And she even alluded to it last night by saying, I am into public service.
I just don't do the public that well.
Or something like that.
That's not intended to be a quote.
That's how I heard it though.
And instead why wouldn't they just send her out there as who she is?
Testigo Lockbox over here, nurse Ratchet over there, take no nonsense, gonna hammer whoever needs to be hammered to get it done, including Trump.
Why this why this compulsion to humanize, to soften her?
It's it's it's not really possible, except among people who want that side of Hillary to be seen, but you you can't you can't change somebody's stripes.
Only they can.
You can't.
Nixon was able to do it, but it was not because anybody was talking about what a nice guy Nixon's become, or any of this.
It took a bunch of public appearances headlining Nixon in order to soften people's image of his.
Left it created.
So I did that's the first thing that struck me.
You know, why why why spend this whole week trying to humanize her and soften her up?
And then she admits that even after all these 30 years, people have the wrong impression of her.
She admits that few have ever seen all this good work that she's done because she's not all that good at the public in public service.
Oh, come on.
That I picked on her.
Oh.
Well, so everybody in public life has been caricatured.
You know, I have been, and I'm not even, I'm not even in politics.
I mean, I'm I I don't have the power to do anything to anybody, and they treat me like I do.
But they're running around saying that Hillary's been picked on and she's been laughed at and she's made fun of.
Well, welcome to the club for crying out.
I thought Chelsea told us that that didn't matter.
Because Chelsea said, and people ask me, how does she do it?
How does she do it?
How does she do it with all of the stuff goes on in politics?
I'll tell you how she does it.
Pause, smile, camera left.
She never forgets who she's working for.
Heart melt, cue the heart melts.
But that stuff works with that crowd.
But who's she been working for?
This leads to my question.
Because Hillary even admitted last night that after 30 years people might have the wrong impression of her because they really haven't seen all this good stuff that she's done.
Like the money they appropriated from the Haiti Relief Fund.
And she didn't talk about all the wealth that the Clintons have accrued via the Clinton Family Foundation.
But she did try to tell us that she's done a lot for children.
Yeah, she ran an American Wright Edelman Children's Defense Fund, and she has been devoted to children her whole life.
All right, fine.
But I want to know, and I'm I'm folks, I mean this, seriously.
If the question sounds flippant, I don't mean it to be.
I really need to understand this.
It's part of my never-ending quest to understand progressivism.
I want to ask any and all of you with children, progressives, I want to know what Hillary Clinton has done for your child.
Because man, did they make the claim that she's done a lot and that she's gonna keep doing it?
And I want to know what she's done for your child.
I why I want I want to know what Obama's done for your child.
I I want seriously, I want to know, I would love to know what you think they have done for your child or your children.
Because man, when they stand up there and talk about all the things they're gonna do and all the things they have done and they're gonna help your children, and I want to know what what are they talking about?
And don't start citing legislation to me because the people out there, they don't, they're not thinking, oh, Hillary sponsored the Child Protection Act of 1997, the children's health insurance.
Really, is that what you really think that helped your child?
But even they're not gonna cite that.
They don't know that.
People I'm talking about.
They don't know that.
I'm talking to people you have your kids, you get up every day, you send them off to school, or whatever.
I don't know what you're doing with them.
I don't know where they go, whatever they do, but I'm assuming you're struggling, because that's how the Democrats portray you.
Hillary portrays everybody as struggling and suffering and barely getting by, and they are coming to your rescue.
They are helping you.
What are they doing?
What do they do?
Is it the raising taxes on the rich?
I want what is it?
Again, don't mistake my passion for anger.
I'm genuinely curious to know.
Any of the bimbos, bimbo eruptions.
Women that Bill Clinton affairs with.
Any of them have children?
What did Hillary do for them?
Whose children?
Maybe that's a better question.
Whose children?
Is Hillary helping?
Whose children has she helped?
Whose children will she help?
And what does she do?
What has she done?
What is she doing?
I mean, all of this stuff sounds wonderful, but I don't, you know, I'm the mayor of Reaville.
And I want to know what it is.
What it is you think it is that's so great that you vote for her because you want her to keep doing it.
What is it?
And don't tell me she cares because that's not helping you a whit.
You care too about your own kids.
How much does that help?
Everybody cares.
Nobody has an exclusive on that.
So what is she doing?
I mean, she's eagerly taking credit for all of this stuff, but I don't know what it is.
I can't even imagine it.
But again, I'm not a person that thinks the government ought to be doing things for my kids.
I'm not a person that thinks the government ought to be taking care of my kids.
I'm not a person that thinks the government ought to be laying the groundwork for my kids.
I'm not the kind of person that thinks that's the role of government.
But obviously, there are a lot of people out there who do think the role of government is take care of their kids.
I'm not.
Is it daycare?
Is it Hillary's for project double head start?
Well, I don't know.
I'm it to me it doesn't make any sense.
I don't know what she can possibly be doing.
For this reason, she's been doing it for 30 years, and there's still a lot of suffering out there.
The Democrats tell us every day there's still so much suffering.
There's still so much poverty.
There is still so many obstacles.
What is she doing?
Why isn't there a rosier future?
Why isn't the picture better?
Thirty years Mrs. Clinton has been working for you.
We know she hasn't been working for anybody but her.
Her power, her wealth.
Making sure her husband's career doesn't implode.
That's what she's been doing.
Oh, wait, she got Obama for your kids?
Osama, she killed Osama bin Laden for your kids.
Oh.
Oh.
Well.
How does that happen?
How does how does that work?
Osama bin Laden's dead and your kids are safer?
And Hillary did it?
I'm serious, folks.
I hear these things.
I hear these Democrats say these things.
I see them be applauded.
I see them accept the applause.
I see them promise to do more of it, and I don't know what it is.
And it's kind of frustrating.
Because I know the answer.
The answer's nothing.
Hillary isn't doing anything for anybody's kids.
All a children's defense fund?
What's that?
It's the assumption that every child's at risk, because every family has a father.
And a father is a dangerous potential predator.
And so I guess the children's defense fund protects children from the evils of family life.
Yes, that must be what it is.
But that can only be part of it.
There have to be other things.
Hillary Clinton has been in public life for 30 or 40 years.
Bragging about, her daughter bragged about all of these great changes that she's made.
All of these great improvements.
which no one sees and no one feels because Hillary and the Democrats continue to say that so many children are continually in need.
So there's never any solution to this.
There isn't any improvement.
Children are at risk as much this year as they were last year as 10 years ago, according to the Democrats.
It's the same question I ask African Americans.
I've been voting Democrats 50 years on the basis of promises to end this and end that.
And the way I hear things, African Americans are angrier than ever.
After all of this attention, all this exclusive attention, assistance and help and guardianship provided by the Democrats.
So where is the resume?
We got all these platitudes about things that she cares about, but where is the resume that suggests that she's actually fixed anything, which she has actually presided over breaking.
And when you get right down to it, when the Democrats hold a convention, while they have occupied the White House for nearly eight years and start listing off the complaints, they're talking about themselves.
So got a bunch of broken things out there, they did it.
Broken things out there that they haven't fixed, no matter who did it.
And they're so good at caring about it all that we need to continue to grant them power.
It just doesn't make sense.
73% of the American people, poll after poll after poll in this cycle, say that countries headed in the wrong direction, that they are not happy.
Well, who's been in charge?
Who has been in charge and implementing the policies that have failed and created this public sentiment?
I mean, whatever, however you answer that, you cannot answer it with Donald Trump.
No matter what you want to say, you cannot blame anything going on right now, whatsoever on Trump.
Not to say they won't try, but you can't do it.
Back in just a second.
Hey, I guess we're back.
Great to have you.
El Rushbow 800-282-2882.
Here is uh Pam in Pittsburgh.
Great to have you on the program.
Hello.
Hi, Rush, how are you?
It's an honor to speak with you.
Thank you, and thank you very much.
I appreciate that.
Thank you.
My question is Hillary Clinton, while she was Secretary of State, told 20% of all America's uranium to Russia, Gladimer Putin, and received 145 million dollars, and the money was placed in the Clinton Foundation, which is now under a federal probe.
Why is that not spoken about?
That's espionage.
And that's probably why she's so close.
She's so close to Russia, and that's probably where her missing emails are.
Well, it has been spoken of because that's how you know about it.
Um the reason you're definitely you don't hear about it.
From who I mean, nobody talks about it.
Who do you who do you expect to hear it from?
Well, I I guess Trump couldn't talk about it.
I mean, uh I somebody should talk about it.
I mean, well, there's a whole there's a whole book about this.
That that anecdote, that story comes from uh a book called Clinton Cash, and it's uh a movie has been made of it, and the entire story of how that whole uranium thing was swung by Bill Clinton.
And it it's the upshot of the story is this, and the Clintons are not going to tell a story, and the media's not gonna tell this story.
This this is my point.
The media is not gonna tell these things.
Um the media is is ignoring the Clinton Cash book and Dinesh D'Souza's movie, Hillary's America.
They ignore these.
This we are two countries, which is my point at the outset.
We're genuinely divided, and we're going to find out who outnumbers who here in uh in November.
We have two media.
I mean, I mean, there are more than two, but we have a dividing line.
There's media on the left, there's media on the right, there's no crossover.
Uh the Clinton books, you won't even see them reviewed in the New York Times.
It's like they don't exist.
But that uranium story, I'm having a mental block on the guy who wrote Clinton Cash, Schweiker, uh Schweitzer uh can't think of his name.
Peter, Peter Schweitzer.
He's sent he's at the Hoover Institute.
And they've made a movie out of the thing.
And it was basically Bill Clinton arranging for somebody in that business to have an inn in Kazakhstan in exchange for something the Clintons got, and it resulted in a vast majority or a big supply of a U.S. uranium going to Kazakhstan.
I think that's that's what it was.
But the story is out that it's how you know about it.
But but uh Trump.
He'll probably talk about it at some point during the campaign, I would expect.
A man, a legend, a way of life.
Now, folks, I don't mean to sound unsympathetic to your frustrations.
I feel them.
I know, in fact, I know what is frustrating.
I know how to boil it down to a precious few words.
You may not even know exactly what it is that's bothering you.
I mean, you may have a specific complaint here or there, but I have the umbrella under which all these things are falling.
I'll tell you exactly what it is.
There's no reality.
And this is why people are freaking out.
Our last call.
Her story about the Clintons and the manipulation of uranium and the arrangements so that they personally profit to tens of millions of dollars worth.
And the end result is the transfer of a lot of U.S. uranium, the United States uranium stockpile to Kazakhstan, or or one of the stands.
It literally happened.
Everything in Peter Schweiker's book, Clinton Cash, everything in it is real.
Everything in it happened.
But if it's not talked about, you can say the drive-by media.
Does it even exist?
Is it real?
You know it.
You've read it.
You maybe you've heard some of the stories in Clinton Cash.
You've heard some of the details in Dinesh D'Souza's movie, Hillary's America.
But yet, it doesn't seem to matter.
Therefore, there's no reality.
Everything is buzz.
Everything is PR.
Everything is spin.
And the purpose of the buzz and the spin in the PR is to erase the reality.
And you watch it happen with ease.
And it makes your skin crawl.
And you get you get just ticked off like you can't express about it.
Because all it adds up to is people like the Clintons and everybody else on the left getting away with all of this.
And no matter how hard you try, and no matter what you do, and no matter how many books, no matter how many movies, no matter how much criminality Hillary Clinton should have been impeached over her email server.
But here she is running for president, and we were told nobody with this correct assessment would even prosecute what she did, even though we got the laundry list of crimes that she committed.
So there's no reality.
There's literally...
It doesn't seem to a lot of people like there's any way.
Truth was always supposed to be the great equalizer.
To you and me growing up.
We have all been mistreated, we've all been cheated, we've all been on the short end of the stick.
And our parents or somebody told us that eventually things even out.
And justice eventually happens.
The evolution of life takes care of this.
Doesn't seem to with them.
They are immune.
They get to wantonly break the law.
The Clintons can go into into Haiti under the guise of helping that poor dilapidated country rebuild and basically steal.
A decent, a good-sized amount of the money that goes in there and put it in their foundation.
They have a foundation that maybe distributes 20% of what's in it for charitable purposes.
Even that they don't talk about.
The Clintons leave the White House claiming that they're broke.
And now they're filthy rich so much that they brag about it.
And the bragging about it usually is in the grain or in the nature of, hey, you know what?
I don't mind paying more taxes.
I'm rich now.
I got I mean, I don't understand these people get mad at these calls for tax increases because I'm happy to pay it.
I'm happy to pay it.
And I don't think anybody in my bracket I'll be complaining about it.
Translation.
I'm rich and you're not.
And I got mine in ways you can't get yours.
Yeah.
You know the trick is I've made you think I care about you.
So you and I, we watch all this.
It doesn't seem to be any justice.
There doesn't seem to be any reality.
In two states in the past two weeks, voter ID laws have been overturned by appeals courts.
All they were were laws requiring you have to have a photo ID to vote because people are trying to get rid of voter fraud.
Because the Democrats have dead people vote, children vote, people that don't even exist vote.
Empty buses pull up to the polling place.
Ghosts get out, end up voting.
So the people say, okay, well, we're just going to try to get rid of the fraud, we're going to have a voter ID.
The left, you can't do it.
It's racism.
Racism.
How the hell is that racism?
Well, because you're causing black people to go down to the state courthouse.
You just want to get arrested and put in jail.
What?
What in the world are you thinking?
That's exactly right.
You think we all ought to be in jail, and you want us to go to a courthouse and you want us to get our picture taken, and when we're there, they're going to find out we committed some kind of crime and put us in jail.
That's what Jesse Jackson tells them.
That's what Al Sharpkin tells them.
Now, when I hear about these two appellate courts overturning voter ID, I'm sorry, but I have to say I'm not surprised because for I don't know, the full length of this program I've been telling you.
And there have been books written by my friends who have detailed for you how the left has taken over the court system.
What do you think we're trying to change?
I don't mean to yell at you.
What do you think this is a long, long project, folks?
Judges are appointed for life.
The left has election insurance.
If they lose an election, they've still got judges that can overrule and write new law in the absence of people in power in legislatures.
Or they can overturn Proposition 8, they can overturn Prop 186, they can prop Prop 87, whatever.
They can overturn whatever they don't like.
Because they want enough elections where they got to appoint enough judges and the judges are there for life.
Well, getting rid of that is going to take a lot of people being in power for a long time to be able to replace them with constitutionalists.
It shouldn't be a surprise that appellate courts overturn voter ID laws when the judges have been put there by the Bill Clintons of the world and the Barack Obamas.
And hell.
Some of the judges the Republicans have put in were designed to show the Democrats, hey, we can be bipartisan.
A lot of Democrat-nominated judges have been approved by Republican Senates, hoping to show we're willing to cross the aisle.
That's why you're mad.
I totally get it.
There's no reality.
Judges did used to be fed.
The left has politicized everything.
This is what you're my refrain for the length of time I've been doing this program is the left has politicized everything.
Yes, people think judges, it's not that people think judges used to be fair.
They think judges are fair.
They think judges are above politics.
That's what we've all been raised to believe.
No.
The left has corrupted everything.
They're on the way to corrupting the military.
You saw this endorsement last night of Hillary.
The military's been corrupted.
You have two kinds of generals at the Pentagon.
You got the warrior generals, which is the kind we want, and you've got the political generals who want to rise to the ranks by kissing the right politicians' rear ends.
They corrupt everything they touch.
if you define corruption by politicizing it, and furthermore, politicizing it with their brand of liberalism or progressivism,...
...
There's seemingly no reality.
The Hillary email server is a stark present reminder.
As is the Democratic Party's stand on militant Islam.
There isn't any.
There's no reality.
To the Democrat Party, there is no militant Islam.
To the Democrat Party, there is no militant Islamic terrorism because Islam doesn't do terror.
I mean, it's the religion of peace.
You see, the Democrat Party is perfectly fine with, perfectly willing to subordinate your safety and national security to their winning power.
If you believe that we should say no to say unfair trade deals.
If you believe we should stand up to the Chi-Coms.
If you believe we should support steel workers and auto workers and homegrown manufacturers.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Join us.
You didn't hear any of this from the Donald Trump at his convention.
No, no, there's no reality out there.
You did hear that, but no, the Democrats are trying to make you think that's what they stand for.
All the while condemning.
You know, I'm watching Hillary has this rally going right now, and I can't.
You know what's waving in the back?
There's all these American flags.
So they're carrying forward with this phony baloney plastic but at a good time rock and roller patriotism act that they put on last night.
And it was an act, and we have a media montage demonstrating what an act it is.
The media's in on the game.
Media says, well, look at this.
Normally you see all these flags, and normally you see all the USA chants, and normally you see all this red, white, blue stuff at Republican conventions.
Yeah, and normally we hear you people in the media trashing it.
So the Democrats decide, you know, Trump was dark, Trump was you dystopian, Trump jumpers pessimist, and they're gonna pick up the optimist mantle.
And the media, which normally lampoons and makes fun of patriotism, symbols of patriotism.
Now they're out there applauding Hillary.
Remember, this is the same party whose president would not wear an American flag lapel pen until pressured to.
This is a party where every drive-by media anchor on the left refused to wear an American flag lapel pen on the pretext that it was show bias.
They had to be shamed into it.
Now all of a sudden, this party is the party of patriotism.
There is no reality.
I know that's what has everybody frustrated.
And what I mean by it is there is a reality.
You know it, I know it, it's out there every day, but it isn't there.
It never matters.
And that's been the ongoing quest for years.
How to make it all matter.
There have been books written about it, trying to teach people.
There have been television documentaries about it, radio programs for 30 years trying to alert people to it, and yet they're still able to cover up and mask reality.
Break time, obscene profit timeout time, we'll be back after this, don't you?
It'd be hard to pick out one whopper from last night that stands out above all other whoppers.
But I thought Morgan Freeman's was especially noteworthy.
Do you hear what Morgan Freeman said?
Well, see, here we go, guys.
Morgan Freeman has automatically been assigned the voice of God by the entertainment press and by the media, the rest of the media.
So when he speaks, it's just the authoritativeness of God.
And the thing that I heard him say, and I'll be honest, I didn't listen to much before 10 o'clock.
I could folks, I I know what I'm gonna hear.
I just I don't want to subject myself to it.
I I turned it on at 10 o'clock because I knew I had to watch the lovely and gracious Chelsea.
And then I wanted to watch Marshmallow Woman come out and do her speech.
By the way, you know why she wore white.
It wasn't that she didn't want to look at a Michelin man.
It's because it was the contrast of Trump being dark, dark, dark, dark, dark.
There comes bright Hillary.
But I thought, my gosh, she's gonna do a marshmallow roast here.
Anyway, Morgan Freeper Freeman.
She could have joined the law firm.
Hillary Rodham Clinton could have joined the law firm, but instead she went to work for children.
I'm saying, what?
Have you ever heard of the Rose Law Firm, Morgan?
She did join a law firm.
She sat on a board of directors at Walmart.
She went to Arkansas because she flunked the bar in DC.
And she was fired from the Watergate Committee.
Do you know why she was fired from the Watergate committee?
Because she stole some documents that the committee owned and took them home in an effort to railroad Nixon.
And Peter Redino found out about it.
She was can't.
She flunked the DC bar.
And she remembered this hayseed hick that had been stalking her up at Yale, so she calls him up.
He grabs the phone before Jennifer can pick it up, says, hey, hey, hello.
And it's her, and she makes her way to Arkansas, and the rest is history.
Here's uh here's Daniel.
San Antonio.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
Hey, nice to uh talk to you, uh my question is on uh Bernie Sanders, and um, you know, you keep saying this is not your regular type campaign season, and it's the outsider.
What if Crazy Bernie actually went crazy that day and he he went up on that stage live and told the told his uh supporters and everybody I'm not gonna support Hillary?
Let's all walk out of this.
Do you think he would have doubled or tripled his follower than really had a chance to win the presidency in 2020?
No.
They couldn't find Bernie Sanders today if he had done that.
Nobody'd know where he happened to go.
They would they wouldn't be able to find him.
Hmm.
If Bernie Sanders had done what your hypothetical suggested, walked out on that stage and done an open revolt, he'd have gotten off the stage, but that would have been the last anybody saw of Bernie Sanders.
And he wouldn't setting himself up.
He's gonna be uh eighty years old.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, because he wouldn't have a chance in eight, and he won't be able to run in in eight years.
No.
I by the way, I don't know if you happen to notice it, but there were a couple of uh shots of Bernie last night.
He was he didn't look happy to me.
He was it looked like he was glaring.
But then why would he be happy?
The guy gave it the best he had, but there was no reality.
Bernie never had a chance.
Bernie never.
There wasn't an IOTA's chance that Bernie Sanders was going to get the Democrat nomination.
It was as big a fairy tale as in 1971, I met a girl.
Same kind of fairy tale.
And now the Bernie people are running around saying there's no reality too.
We have a little company on that side.
Well, I'm holding here in my formerly nicotine stained fingers.
A transcript of an audio soundbite, Which I don't have time to air at the moment.
It's from Jake Tappert CNN from late last night after the convention is over.
And he's talking about all the conservatives that he's reading about, who loved Hillary's speech, and all the conservatives he's hearing from anonymously, who loved Hillary's speech.
So I suspect this may be contributing to your down-in-the-dumpsism.
