Here we are back at it, Rush Limbaugh, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have while being concerned about everything that we see deteriorating all around us.
Your phone calls are going to be part of the program today at 800-282-2882.
Trump just now began to talk about the incident in Orlando and predicting even more.
Let's listen to a little bit of Trump in Atlanta right now.
Every law enforcement person that I've spoken to, and that you watch and that you read is saying it's very hard, if not impossible, to check out people.
There's just no papers.
There are no papers.
And yet you see this great migration, which is a horrible thing to watch.
And by the way, I have a heart as big as anybody else.
We have to build safe zones over there.
And we have to take care of people.
Let's build safe zones, but build them over there.
Build them in Syria.
Build them in places over there.
USA!
He's talking about instead of this ongoing refugee, migration.
We have to build safe zones.
We have to work, you know, it's humanity, it's humanity.
But we have so many problems here.
But we build safe zones over there, and now here's where the deal making comes in, or whatever you want to call it.
We have to get the Gulf states to pay for it.
They have tremendous amounts of money.
They're not doing much, and it's their territory, and we have to get them to pay for it.
They're not doing it.
We get them to pay for it.
We owe $19 trillion right now.
We owe $10 trillion right now.
We have Hillary wants to bring people in, spend billions and billions of dollars on bringing people in.
As to whether they assimilate or not, you make the decision.
But assimilation has not been exactly a positive factor.
So she wants to spend all of this money, and her increase on bringing these people in 550% more than Obama, who doesn't have a clue, he doesn't know what he's doing.
Okay?
He doesn't know what he's doing.
I think he does, but I know why Trump's saying what he's doing.
Very sad.
It's very sad.
So when you look at Sharia and you look at the beliefs of Sharia, and it's called execution for things that you would say are like standard parts of life.
What they do to people, and we have people coming in, and do not kid yourself.
That's what they believe, that's what they want, that's what they practice, and we're taking these people in.
So I will tell you, the LGBT community, the gay community, the lesbian community, they are so much in favor of what I've been saying over the last three or four days.
A friend of mine called up.
A friend of mine called up, he said, you know, you don't get enough credit because in Palm Beach, you opened a club that nobody would do, nobody would do, and it's open to everybody.
It's open to everybody.
And a person, a member of the club, great guy, who's gay, wrote this magnificent letter saying what Donald Trump did, nobody else would do.
And we are getting a tremendous thank you.
Thank you.
We are getting a tremendous amount of credit because over the last three days, people are realizing over the last three days, people are realizing what's going on.
And we have to we have to treat people great, but we have to treat everybody great.
It's got to be, you know, when I say make America great again, it's great again for everybody.
We have to say for everybody.
We have to.
Everybody.
He's talking about everybody.
He means everybody.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And you know, we have a simple theme.
It's called Make America Great Again.
Now, a lot of people said I copied from Ronald Reagan.
I didn't.
Because his theme was different.
I didn't even know this, but it's called his was Let's Make America Great.
That's different.
We are Make America Great Again.
But we're adding to it.
Because we really have to add, and I'm adding.
As we go along, as we get older and wiser, make America great again, make America safe again, and let it include everybody, because that's what we have to do.
We want it to include everybody.
Okay?
We want it to include everybody.
I know what he's doing here.
And we have to stop on a temporary basis, at least, but we have to stop people from pouring into our country.
We have to stop it.
Until we find out what the hell is going on.
We know what the hell's going back.
They're coming here.
And blowing up.
We can do that.
But we have to have people come in that cherish us, that love us, that want to love us, that want to do things that don't want to destroy us, that don't want to go to a club where you have innocent people and where you had no guns on the other side.
By the way, I'm gonna save your second amendment.
Okay?
I'm gonna save your second amendment.
You better take a look at what's going on in the Senate right now, then the Democrats are filibustering in the Senate for gun control, he's getting a standing O on this, and Democrats are filibustering for gun control right now.
If some of those great people that were in that club that night had guns strapped to their waist or strapped to their ankle, and if the bullets were going in the other direction, aimed at this guy who was just open target practice,
you would have had a situation, folks, which would have been always horrible, but nothing like the carnage that we all as a people suffered this weekend.
Nothing.
Can't disagree with that.
And a lot of people aren't realizing this.
You know, you take a look at Paris, Paris has they say the toughest gun laws in the world.
France, generally speaking, the toughest in the world.
And these thugs walked in.
They used to call them the press masterminds.
I said, you can't call them masterminds.
That's why the young kids are joining.
They're joining ISIS.
They want to be a mastermind.
But thugs, these thugs, I call him the guy with the dirty white cap.
The thugs walked in to different places, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
There was nobody with gun, nobody on the other side.
There was nobody could do anything.
And they got killed 130 people, killed, viciously killed, hundreds still in the hospital with the most horrible injuries.
And now we have the same thing in Orlando.
And then last night you had a police officer and his wife were killed the same way.
And he put it over Facebook.
The killer put it on Facebook.
Same kind of a thing.
And it's happening all over.
And it's getting worse.
And it's going to continue to get worse until they respect us, folks.
They've got to respect us.
They have no respect for us whatsoever.
And they don't fear us.
He's right about that.
We're trying to be nice.
We have a president wants to be so politically correct that he doesn't want to use the term radical Islamic terrorism.
Doesn't want to be.
No, now we're getting to it here.
He gives a speech yesterday.
Yeah.
A long speech that at the end of it, nobody knew what the hell he was talking about.
Nobody knew.
He's trying to justify why he won't use, and he said radical Islam, because he didn't want to use the word terrorism, if you notice, why he won't use that term or why he doesn't use it, and how it doesn't make any difference, but it does make a difference.
It makes a difference, and it makes a big difference.
Because unless you're willing to discuss and talk about the real nature of the problem and the name of the problem, radical Islamic terrorism.
You're never going to solve the problem.
Right on.
Exactly.
It's about us.
It's about Obama.
It's not about them.
Right on.
And then crooked Hillary Clinton gets up the other day.
And she wouldn't use the term.
She wouldn't use it.
But I was hitting her hard on it, very hard.
And finally she gets up.
And she said, I would use it.
And by the way, the press didn't report this.
They said she used the term.
They didn't say about Trump, many of them.
Some of them are fair, but many of them.
Most of them are very dishonest.
It's very hard to get the word out, I'm telling you.
It's very hard to get the accurate word out.
Because I made a speech yesterday in North Carolina.
We got standing ovations, a packed house.
I go back, and they're talking about the speech.
It like had nothing to do with what I was even talking about.
A bunch of sleazy.
They are the worst, believe me.
But Hillary Clinton gets up, and she sort of acted like no problem using the term.
And she said, I would use the term, but she didn't use it.
But she didn't call it radical Islamic terrorism.
She said radical Islamism.
And I'm not saying that's wrong.
Let's see how much she uses it.
You know, she'll basically do whatever Obama wants her to do.
You understand why, because that whole thing is just ridiculous what's going on there.
Don't even want to think about it.
It's just ridiculous.
How that can happen in our country today is absolutely one of the great insults to law enforcement.
And let's see what happens.
But she's being totally protected.
She's being 100% protected.
Now maybe we'll all be surprised.
And maybe our laws will work the way they're supposed to work.
But you know what, folks?
I think if something was going to happen on the crimes that have been committed, I would have assumed it would have happened already, don't you think?
Don't you think?
So let's see what happens.
But when you get right down and you look at it, we have got to be respected.
We don't have to be liked so much.
We have to be respected.
I don't want to be feared.
You could take it another step.
Fear.
It's not fear.
We have to be respected.
We're not respected by these people.
They come into our country, they want to take it over.
Now, look at what's happening in Germany.
A catastrophe.
I have friends from Germany that for 20 years have been telling me how great Germany is, what a great place to live.
Some of these people are leaving the country now.
They're leaving.
Their crime rate is through the roof.
Things are happening that are horrendous.
And you see what's happening to women.
You see what's happening all over Germany now.
It was a horrific mistake.
It was a terrible mistake.
Now they'll say it wasn't, it's wonderful.
You build, as I said, and if Germany had it to do again, I don't think that she would ever admit it.
And let's see how she does in the next election, assuming there's going to be an election and she's going to run.
But if Germany had it to do again, I'm sure they would have put up billions of dollars to do just as I said.
Safe zones in Syria, make them nice.
Anything's cheaper and anything's better than what's going on now in Germany and other countries.
Okay, warning.
So Belgium is a beautiful city and an amazing place, magnificent buildings.
I was there many, many years ago.
And I had always this incredible image.
And a number of months ago, I made the statement, something to the effect, Belgium's a hellhole.
And I was badly criticized.
They said, what a terrible thing.
And then they had the massive problem in Belgium.
And people said Trump was right.
Trump was right.
I don't want to be right.
But you look at what's going on in Paris.
You look at what's going on in different places, all over, different places.
You know it.
I know it.
They know it.
They don't want to talk about it.
We don't want to have these problems.
And we've already got them.
Look, look at this weekend.
We don't want to have these problems.
So what I'm saying is it's a temporary ban, in particular, for certain people coming from certain horrible where you have tremendous terrorism in the world.
You know what those places are, but we have to put a stop to it.
We have to put a stop to it until such time as we can figure out what is going on.
Because right now, we don't have a clue what's going on, folks.
We don't have a clue.
We don't know even a little bit what's going on.
And we have to be the smart country now.
We've been the dummies for too long.
We have to be the smart.
We have to be the brilliant country.
We have to show, and we have to help, and we have to take care of people, but we have to be smart.
With the kind of money that we owe, $19 trillion, going to $21 trillion very shortly because of the omnibus budget that was passed.
Going to $21 trillion.
We can't be doing this, and this isn't even the money.
This is beyond the money.
Because even if you had a small percentage of people coming in thinking like this person, who again was born here, but his parents weren't.
And his ideas weren't born here.
His ideas were born from someplace else.
The key point there, folks, it's a key point.
And we've got to bump out.
I was just trying to warn you a moment ago we have a uh commercial break coming up that we have to take.
Uh but we got what we wanted out of this.
We want a reaction to what Obama said a little bit and uh some further explanation of uh the strategy in the plan.
What would you do?
I mean, I uh uh the people say you can't stop people from coming in.
What how would you stop this?
It's a specific event.
Each one is specific, but but we have people coming to this country who hate it.
They're getting in with no problem, and they are being radicalized either after they get here or before they come, and their their single purpose is to commit acts of terror like they did.
How do you stop it?
I'm gonna tell you this.
The answer is not repealing the second amendment.
The answer does not is not found in gun control or anything to do with guns.
I say 3,000 people died on 9-11, and not a single bullet was fired.
How would you stop this?
People say, you can't you can't stop people coming in the country.
That's absurd.
That's a that's childish.
That's that's the well, how would you stop it?
You know, I'm sick and tired of being told, well, it's the new norm.
I mean, these are the things we're free country rush.
This is the kind of stuff we're gonna have to learn to live with.
Really?
Like a half-assed economy, like a busted health care system, we're just gonna have to learn to accept this because somehow we're not permitted to stand up for who we are.
That's so unfair because we're a superpower, so we have to bend over, we have to stand aside and let whatever we want to call the aggrieved, the offended minorities, whatever, have their way because it's been so unfair, we've been a superpower for so long.
This stuff can be stopped, because if it can't, then it's only a matter of time before this country doesn't look like it does now.
We've got to take a break.
We'll be back and continue after this.
Don't go away.
Hillary Clinton is rattled.
Hillary Clinton is now showing up on CNN making a speech on national security.
I'm telling you that, you know, I don't care what you think of the substance of uh of Trump's rallies, because every one of them is different, uh, but it is clear that when he gets out there that Obama and Hillary feel the need to react to it.
And I can't think of a single Republican, and this is not meant as an insult, it's just an observation.
I can't think of a single Republican in the last seven and a half years, which has caused any kind of concern anywhere in the Democrat Party.
Like Trump is causing concern for Hillary and Obama.
Uh she's out there now again.
I did she's holding a national security event in in Virginia.
She's obviously talking about Orlando and whatever, but uh as it appears here in real time, she is reacting to Trump and his uh appearances down in uh in Atlanta.
Uh quickly, we need to get to the phones here.
This is Ron in the uh uh Pennsylvania.
Ron, great to have you on the program.
Hello.
Hi, Rush.
Um, you know, it's funny because that that whole time yesterday with the president, he spent all this time talking about labels and that it wasn't it was all simply uh political points being made by his opponents, and it really couldn't do anything to say it was very unimportant stuff.
Yet he seems completely loathed to use uh anything other than ISIL rather than ISIS to talk about them.
The question is, why?
What's the difference between ISIS and ISIL?
Well, the big difference, the and a big one it is, is that ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
And what's the difference between the Levant and Syria, which is part of ISIS?
Well, the Levant goes from Turkey all the way down till it's all the way down to the bottom of Egypt.
And what's in the middle there?
Israel.
Right.
So what he's basically giving them credit for is being the Islamic state that controls Israel as well as the rest of the Middle East.
Well, you might you might look at it that way.
I uh I understand that you you you know Obama's anti-label and then lives by them and dies by them.
I think Obama insisting on using ISIL instead of ISIS.
I think it's a I think it's a sign of respect.
All right, so the networks gave Hillary about ten minutes.
They gave Trump twenty-five, almost thirty, gave Hillary ten minutes.
Let me sum up for you what Hillary Clinton basically.
She said some uh I wasn't able to figure out where, but there's some seminar type thing going on uh in in Virginia, and it's on it's on national security.
You know, this is the kind of thing that she does, and and all Democrats do.
They are the most partisan people among us.
These are the people that try to link acts of terror to the Republican Party, because the Republican Party supposedly won't join the Democrats on gun control.
So therefore, every terror attack we, the Republicans and conservatives, are complicit in.
And they're out there making this case ever since Orlando happened.
And yet here's Hillary Clinton standing up there today, we're sitting, and she's saying that she's very much aware of how people are afraid, but she is confident that that that we can make America safe.
We can but not the Trump way.
She's she says, how do you build a wall to keep the internet out?
And the crowd there went, oh, that's so clever, that's funny, and they applauded and they started laughing, and uh Mrs. Clinton got bug eyes.
They really got big there as the applause happened, because I guess she's not used to it lately.
Clearly reveled in it, that line, how do you build a wall to keep the internet out?
But then she said that this is not the way we're gonna solve this is not a Democrat or Republican problem.
We can't start arguing about this.
It's not a Democrat or Republican problem.
We have to come together and make this an American mission.
Yay, yay.
And I'm gonna tell you, stuff like that sounds dreamboat to the low information crowd.
It sounds dreamboat.
It's like Obama.
Remember Obama in his speech that put him on the map at a Democrat convention way back when Obama said there aren't any blue states, there aren't any red states, there aren't any Democrats, there aren't any Republicans, we're all Americans.
Oh, everybody melted, everybody went nuts.
Oh my god, oh my god, we love it.
And now we look at Obama, and he is the most partisan radical president we've ever had, who routinely takes every shot he can at red states and the people who live in them.
They get away with this, and here's Mrs. Clinton trying it.
We not stop American or Democrat, Republican or Democrat arguments and debates over this.
We need a new American mission.
And I just have to tell you, as as phony as it is, as unrealistic as it is, because she has no intention of including Republicans in anything unless they totally capitulate to her.
She has no intention whatsoever.
But I will guarantee you that uh what are they called on the college campus college students, the little flowers, innocent flowers, the whatever they are, they'll just melt over the yes.
We must eliminate the argument.
We must eliminate and we must we must get along.
And it's gonna, it's gonna sell to a certain amount of people.
But I guarantee you, all you need to know is that Hillary Clinton's part of the last seven and a half years.
She's Secretary of State, she's hand in hand with Obama.
Have they kept us safe?
There have been terror attacks after terror attacks after terror attacks.
They have not kept us safe.
They don't have the slightest idea how to do it.
They won't even admit what we face.
That's the point of Obama not using the term.
It's not about strategy.
It's about us having confidence that he even knows what we're up against or is willing to admit what we're up against.
And I don't think he wants to admit that we're up against it.
I don't think Obama wants to believe that there is militant Islamic anything.
I think he wants to spread this belief that Islam's a religion of peace and all this terrorism is uh perversion.
It's a bunch of radicals that are not really Muslims.
And they're not really part of Islam.
They're just bastardizing it and impugning it and so forth, and that's what the impression he wants to convey is.
But they're incompetent.
She's out there, she's got a line, by the way.
She's she's continuing now to harp on Trump being temperamentally unfit for office.
That is obviously going to be uttered countless times in her speech, after speech after speech.
Yeah, that's a good point, too.
Even after Orlando happened, did Obama call a governor of Florida?
No, he hasn't called Rick Scott.
He hasn't done.
What about this?
We're no blue states, we're not red states, we're all Americans.
It's an absolute BS.
But they get away too often with selling themselves as great unifyers.
But you just need to look at the state of the country the last seven and a half years and ask yourself what's been unified.
Yes, snowflakes.
College students, a snowflake, innocent snowflakes, and they're just they're gonna fall for this.
By the way, speaking of Hillary Clinton, we are offering a uh a premium.
Rushlimbod.com's a bumper sticker promotion, and it is phenomenal.
These bumper stickers are flying off the shelves.
You know, Father's Day is this Sunday.
You could you could give dad a subscription to Rush 24-7 and the limbaughter and get the bumper sticker free, and this is what it is.
We've taken Hillary's own logo and converted it into a bumper sticker.
I'm showing it here on the ditto cam.
It says never Hillary.
It's there, it's her blue color, it's her red arrow.
And we put never Hillary, and these things are flying figuratively.
We don't have any shelves really, but they're flying off the shelves as people see this and are becoming subscribers of the Rush 24-7.
But it's it's clear how this is all shaping up.
And when you add to that this, and uh we had a caller up there, I thought the first call I was taking was this, but that guy had dumped out.
Uh top Republicans join Obama in condemning Trump's words.
It's a Washington Post story, they can barely contain themselves.
Top Republicans joined with President Obama and other Democrats in sharply condemning Donald Trump's reaction to the nightclub massacre in Orlando, decrying his anti-Muslim rhetoric, and his questioning of Obama's allegiances as divisive and out of step with American values.
Now, here's the way this is interpreted.
The majority party in the House of Representatives in the Senate is the Republican Party, the majority party.
Theoretically, the opposition party, The party that should have been in there each and every day doing what it could do to stop as much of the Obama agenda as possible.
We know that there hasn't been much of that.
So what's happened here?
Trump goes out, says what he says.
Top Republicans, the majority party in the House and Senate.
But by the way, their positions are the result of people voting for them.
American voters have put them in these leadership positions.
And what do they do?
They do not side with the lone opposition to this horrible destructive regime, which has not protected us.
No, they stand up and join it.
Republican leaders stand up and join Obama.
Now, in my view, there is rarely a reason for Republicans to side with Obama on a matter of policy.
But when you start talking about presidential elections, there is never an occasion where the Republican leadership should in any way stand up and side with a Democrat president.
Never, and yet here they are.
This, a microcosm.
Another example of why Trump is where he is.
They were not elected to side with Obama, particularly against Republicans, particularly against the presumptive Republican nominee.
This does not happen.
And yet, there it is.
Top Republicans join Obama in condemning Trump's words.
It's just stunning.
Okay, you want to hear something?
You may remember this once I jog your memory.
Do you remember back in 2001, 2011, Obama became alarmed when uh when we we essentially gave up on Iraq because Obama was trying to establish that he was a president of peace.
How's that working out for we have more wars going on with this guy in the oval orifice than we had with Bush or Bush or Reagan or Clinton?
But the point is this.
When Iraq was abandoned, and of course we didn't have to abandon it.
We chose to abandon Iraq under a falsely false premise that they would not grant our soldiers immunity from any actions that were taken in defense of Iraq before the world court, that kind of I forget the name of it, but but it was phony.
The Iranian Iraqis offered it to us, and we just we turned it down.
We wanted to get out of there.
And this left Iraq in a position, the wild West, and it turned out, you know what Obama did to deal with it.
He banned all immigration from Iraq.
Just with a stroke of a pen, the waving of his magic wand.
The Obama regime stopped processing Iraq refugee requests for six months in 2011.
We might have been among the first to pass that on to you.
Now everybody today is saying you can't do that.
Hillary Clinton's mocking it, Obama's mocking.
He can't do that.
You can't build, you can't build a wall.
You can't stop him.
You can't, we don't have papers.
Obama did it.
They say you can't stop immigration.
We as a nation shut down immigration from about 1924 to 1965.
And every time I mention that, people are shocked.
People think immigration legal immigration happens all the time.
We shut it down from 1924 to 1965.
You know why?
Because we had been flooded with so many immigrants we had to take time and stop it so those that arrived could assimilate and become Americans.
That doesn't happen anymore.
This story is from Sip November 18th, 2015.
It's it's from the Federalist website.
Although the Obama administration currently refuses to temporarily pause its Syrian refugee resettlement program in the U.S., the State Department in 2011 stopped processing Iraq refugee requests for six months after the FBI uncovered evidence that several dozen terrorists from Iraq had infiltrated the United States via the refugee program.
Obama even tweeted.
There's a President Obama tweet here at POTUS.
Slamming the door in the face of refugees would betray our deepest values.
That's not who we are, and it's not what we're gonna do.
That's 18 November 2015.
This is last year when everybody's begging him to put a moratorium on all these refugees.
Europe was being flooded with able-bodied military-aged men who were fleeing their homeland, Syria and elsewhere, and they were flooding Europe and they were flooding the United States, and Obama was welcoming them in.
People said, Set it down, stop it.
We don't know who's coming in yet.
Obama tweeted, slamming the door in the face of refugees would betray our deepest values.
That's not who we are.
That's that line again.
That's not who we are.
That's not our value.
I get nervous when he starts talking about who we are.
Because I don't I don't think I'm included in the we.
And I don't think he's talking about my values when he starts talking about these imaginary values he wants to establish and maintain.
And I know I'm not part of the we says that's not who we are.
Anyway, he did shut down all refugee requests, i.e.
immigration, from Iraq for six months in 2011.
And then four years later, he said, Well, can't do it.
Not who we are.
Not what we're gonna do would betray our deepest.
The point is it can be done.
He just doesn't want to.
Nor does Hillary Clinton.
After two terrorists were discovered in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2009, the FBI began reviewing reams of evidence taken from improvised explosive devices that have been used against American troops in Iraq.
Federal investigators then tried to match fingerprints of those bombs to the fingerprints of individuals who had recently entered the United States as refugees.
We can find them.
We know who they are.
We just choose not to.
This is what makes people suspicious, because it doesn't make common sense.
It does we've got events like Orlando happening and San Bernardino, and the regime makes no effort to stem the tide.
It's a common sense reaction to say, what the hell is going on?
Why?
It's a very commonsensical question.
Here is uh Sherry and Bend, Oregon.
Hey, I'm glad you waited.
Great to have you on the program, Sherry.
Hello.
Thanks, Russia.
Great to talk to you.
I'm a longtime listener, but first-time caller.
Thank you very much.
I'm 56 years old, and my heart is in my stomach.
It's just what's going on in our country is so sad.
Why can't we learn from the past?
I mean, Muslims have hated there's been so much hate by Muslims in this country and across the world since the 17th century.
I mean, Muslims are moving into Paris and the United States.
Well, that's the great question, but you're looking at the wrong past.
Obama's not looking at that past.
He's looking at America's past.
I know.
Well, then you just gotta go back to 1968 when Bobby Kennedy was shot.
He was killed by a Muslim.
But no, no, no.
That's not the past Obama sees either.
Ah.
Obama sees no, this is a serious point now.
I'm not.
I know I'm a naturally funny guy.
Oh, I love But I'm not trying to be funny here.
You you you say, why don't we look at the past?
Why don't we learn from the past?
Obama looks at the past.
