The views expressed by the host of this program documented to be almost always right, 99.7% of the time.
It's Rush Limbaugh, the EIV network of the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies on Friday.
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's open line Friday.
One big exciting broadcast hour to go, and I should make note.
I will not be here on Monday.
It is an annual charity golf outing that I participate in on Monday.
Who's the guest host?
Mark Belling.
Mark Belling will be here on Monday, so this is the last hour for me until Tuesday.
As always, we'll make the most of it.
Trumpet fanfare means it's time, ladies and gentlemen, for yet another update.
Gay community update time.
And here it is, three gay men from Bangkok, Thailand.
Three men have tied the knot, thought to be the world's first three-way same-sex marriage.
Their names are joke.
Bell and Art 29-21-26.
They took the plunge on Valentine's Day.
After exchanging their vows in a fairy tale ceremony, it's what it says here at their home.
I said, we believe many people do understand and accept our three-way choice.
Now, folks.
I think we predicted things like this were going to happen.
When you change the definition, all bets are off.
I'm not kidding.
Three men have tied the knot in the world's first three-way, same-sex marriage.
Their names are joke, Bell and Art.
Valentine's Day is when they did this.
And they they said that it they took their vows of Valentine's Day, what they say is a fairy tale ceremony.
And like I say, once you change the definition, we predicted it.
What comes next is anybody's guess.
Wolf Blitzer has finally reached the point, ladies and gentlemen, where he is outraged by ISIS.
ISIS has now gone too far.
The straw that broke the camel's back has happened.
Beheadings?
Eh, par for the course.
Burning people alive.
Well, it's understandable.
It's war.
But ISIS has done something else now.
And Wolf Blitzer has reached the limit of his tolerance.
We take you now this afternoon to CNN and the show Wolf, where he is talking to the Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr about a report that ISIS has bulldozed the city of Nimrod, or Nimrud, whatever, in Iraq, including ancient priceless artifacts.
That is the last straw for Wolf Blitzer and CNN.
Beheadings, eh, parfit of course.
Burning people alive, hey, it's war.
Blitzer said to Barbara Store, Barber Store, as perverted and barbaric as this is, why are they destroying these cultural treasures?
Well, the candid answer is who knows what motivates these people to do this.
There have been some statements after the destruction in Mosul at that museum about destroying idols, destroying idolatry by ISIS.
But I have to tell you, the United Nations speaking out about this just considers it wanton destruction and is saying that the world must stop it.
What a tragedy.
All right, thanks very much to Barbara Star with that report.
These are six sick people.
Yeah, look at what it took, though, for that characterization to be uttered on CNN.
They had to bulldoze a bunch of artifacts.
They had a bulldoze a bunch of museum pieces.
Why would they destroy these cultural pieces, Barbara?
Never once has it been asked why are they beheading people?
Never once has it been asked why would they burn people alive?
But boy, the last straw has been hit here.
Now they're destroying things that happen to be in a museum.
What a bunch of sick sick people.
And just to prove it, the UN has finally taken notice of ISIS.
And because of the bulldozing of museum pieces, the UN says now this must finally stop.
Proving once again that there is l I mean no sense of proportion whatsoever.
In so many deep dark areas of the American left.
Okay, here's the Clinton stack is the latest that we have.
Fox News has this.
Clinton created multiple email addresses on her private server, according to data.
Grab soundbite number one and let's see.
Um, I don't need the soundbite here.
Do you know that one of these private addresses that Hillary used?
I'll spell it for you.
M-A-U-S-U-I-T at Clintonemail.com.
Now, how would you how would you pronounce that?
Mao suit.
M-A-U.
Mao, as in Maui, or Mao as in Mao Tseitong, Mao suit.
Now, why in the world would Hillary come up with something?
Does she doesn't have a hotel suite in Maui, so it can't be that.
Why would she come up with an email address?
Mao suit.
Well, maybe grab some by one.
It might come in handy here.
This is May 31st, 2007.
This is eight years ago on this program, ladies and gentlemen.
Have you noticed the way Mrs. Clinton dressing lately?
She's wearing these Mao suits.
She looks like Chairman Mao out there.
She's wearing these jackets with the Mao collar.
So we call her Chairman Hillary here.
And she actually has an email address called Mausuit at Clintonemail.com.
Here's Lanny Davis.
Now this is a Kelly file last night, Megan Kelly.
And during a discussion about Hillary and her private email account to do business, Secretary of State, Megan Kelly and Landy Davis had this little chit chat.
I want to ask you whether you know if she did preserve all of the documents that she created and received during her tenure as Secretary of State via email.
Well, she says she preserved it, and it'll be up to the State Department and anybody else to confirm that she's telling the truth.
I didn't hear her say that in her tweet, so you're telling us that she says she did not delete any official documents.
All preserved.
And if deleted, you know they can be found.
Ah, see, that's not true.
That's not if you if you own the server, you can delete them.
Now deleting is a multi-step process, actually.
Let me review again, just so you know.
Let's say you you're just sitting using your computer.
Uh or or a smartphone, I don't care, a tablet, whatever, and there's something you want to do, you want to delete an email, let's say, or you're working on some other kind that's on your computer, you're working on a on a word processing document, and you're finished with it and you want to throw away.
So you delete it.
And it goes to the trash icon if you use a Mac.
I guess it does too if you use Windows, since Windows copied Macy, it goes to trash icon.
And you many people think it's gone at that point, but it isn't.
It's not gone.
It hasn't disappeared at all.
All that's happened at that step is that that file gets marked.
It's still on your hard drive.
It hasn't even been tampered with.
It hasn't been destroyed, it hasn't been altered, it hasn't had anything done to it other than it has been marked.
And then it could be months later.
You think it's long gone.
You've hit empty trash.
There's two phases.
You put it in the trash, then you put empty trash, and you think it's gone.
It's not.
It's still there.
And the only time it actually goes is if you end up years or months later needing the space on the hard drive that file is occupying.
Since it's marked, it can be overwritten if that sector of the hard drive is needed for new storage.
It's never deleted in that sense.
Now, some computer systems offer a secure delete, which actually will erase it from the drive in the computer, not just mark it to be overwritten.
In the case of an email on a server, you can delete it from the email program.
You can put it in the trash, you can empty the trash.
Depending on the kind of program using pop, and if you have it set to, as when you hit delete it, deletes on the server, it's gone.
If using IMAP, doesn't matter.
You can re if you own the server, you can permanently get rid of something.
That's why she did it.
Now, if you have a Gmail account, if you have an iCloud account, if you have a Yahoo account, doesn't matter.
Those emails stay on those servers long after you think they've been deleted.
As I understand it, it's uh it's policy for these companies.
They don't get rid of anything because all of these things are used for geotagging, for location searches.
It's company use all of this data from you to be able to target advertising to you, essentially, and maybe other things too, but it's never deleted.
That's why Hillary wanted her own server.
So Landy Davis is wrong.
It's not automatically still on.
Now, there are programs, and depending on how effectively you wipe something from a server, which is just a hard drive, depending on how how effectively you wipe it, there are recovery programs that maybe can extract enough of what somebody thinks has been deleted to make some sense of it.
But if it's on your server and you own the server, you can delete it.
Now here's something else to consider.
Mrs. Clinton, I'm convinced, doesn't know beans about any of this.
She told somebody what she wanted.
She interviewed people, maybe had recommendations for IT people to set this up.
And she hired somebody.
I think the name is known, I just don't have it at top my head.
And this guy set up her system based on what she told him that she wanted.
And I'm sure one of the things she said that I would I want to be able to remove all evidence of anything at any time at my discretion on that server.
And he will say, okay, fine, I'll set that up, and here's how you do it.
What happens, however, if the IT guy she hired copies it unknown to her, to keep it to blackmail her, to do any number of things.
If she doesn't have total control, total understanding, if she doesn't know exactly what's going on, if she has to accept somebody's word, some IT guy's word, did you did you delete that email there from uh whoever it is?
Oh, yeah, it's gone, Mrs. Clinton.
I'm assure you it's gone.
There's no vestige of it left.
She has to trust that guy that he has not made his own mirrored copy of it somewhere.
The possibilities here are limitless.
You know, the administrator, if he wants to run the risk, could set up a program that makes a copy of everything on her server, and that server of his could be in Timbuktu.
And if she doesn't know how this thing was set up, if she she's going to have to hire somebody else to come in and take a look.
If she ever gets suspicious of her IT guy, she'll have to hire somebody else to come in and examine it, tear it apart and find out, is my stuff really being deleted or is somebody making a copy of it somewhere.
It's it can get real dicey if you don't have total hands-on administrative ability and control over it, and I'm sure she doesn't.
Now, I don't know that her IT guy's done any of that.
I'm just telling you, it's something she would have to think about as as a as a non-expert in all of this.
And it's because of those vagaries that people think nothing is ever really deleted.
But you can permanently delete anything on your own server if you are in charge of it, and if you know what you're doing.
But my guess is that Mrs. Clinton has a copy of everything.
May not be on her email server, but she's got another server somewhere that's got a record of everything she's done, because it works both ways.
Leverage.
Call it blackmail brides.
It works both ways.
So I doubt that anything is really, really fully gone.
Breaking news, ladies and gentlemen, big time breaking news, but not really a surprise.
It is this.
Justice Department is preparing to bring charges against New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez.
Uh, criminal charges of corruption.
The Attorney General Eric Holder, in one of his final acts before he leaves office, has signed off on prosecution request to bring charges against Senator Menendez.
Now, I think this is about those trips to the Dominican on a on a donor's airplane.
So, but that's not why they're going after it.
Well, it's a right, he's a pro-BB guy.
Menendez very laudatory of Netanyahu and very anti-any kind of a nuke deal with Iran.
So Menendez is very, very much opposed to the regime on something that matters big time to Obama, and that is Iran getting the nuke.
And he was uh he's supportive to an extent of uh Netanyahu.
And I'm not surprised.
This doesn't surprise me at all.
Going after a Democrat for flying off to meet women on a donor's plane?
You ever heard of Bill Clinton?
And there's no lawsuit again, no criminal investigation of him.
Bob Menendez?
Me up break.
This is about Iran and nukes and nething yours.
Larry and Armor, South Dakota, great to have you on the EIB network, and hello.
Hey, Travis, for taking my call.
You bet, sir.
I'm kind of nervous, so I'll get to this as quick as I can.
About a month ago or so, they announced, and I heard it one time on the radio, that the 99-week unemployment benefits had run out.
Now they're saying this month that the employment is so much better.
I suppose they figure that if they're not getting unemployment benefits, they must have a job, right?
Now, no, you know what?
That's an interesting point.
I I had forgotten that, and I'm gonna have to look this up.
It might it might have been, I think you're right.
There were some people whose 99 weeks expired in January, and I'm not sure if they were extended.
And if they weren't, if the unemployment benefits were not extended for those people, they would then fall into that category of unemployed but not looking for work, and therefore they wouldn't be counted as unemployed.
That's your point, right?
Yes.
Yeah, that may well be.
Allow my intrepid staff here to do some quick research into that 99 week.
I have a vague memory that those things are expiring all the time for people.
And that's why we're constantly hearing about extending, and I'm not sure we extended recently.
I have to check on this.
Okay, our caller's memory was right on the money.
Forbes magazine, March 2nd this year issue.
Headline unemployment is dropping thanks to a Republican policy that Obama opposed.
In January, State of the Union speech.
Obama bragged that our economy's growing and creating jobs at the fastest pace since 1999.
Great news, but according to new research paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research, the recent improvement in the labor market is due to a policy change that Obama adamantly opposed, and that's ending extended unemployment benefits.
In fact, folks, not only is it the ending of uh extended unemployment benefits, the reason why the unemployment number is coming down, the Washington examiner January 26th, 60% of 2014 job growth caused by the expiration of unemployment benefits.
Let me read to you from that article.
Sixty percent of job creation 2014 was caused by the expiration of unemployment benefits.
According to a new working paper published by the National Bureau of Economic Research.
The paper found that the expiration of benefits was responsible for the creation of over 1.8 million jobs.
Nearly one million of those jobs were created by people who would have otherwise stayed out of the labor force if unemployment benefits had been extended.
So what happened this didn't get much play, but I vaguely remembered it when the caller mentioned it.
The Republicans did oppose one of these never-ending extensions of unemployment benefits.
And true to form, human nature took over, and the people who had been on benefits for 99 weeks did not get them extended.
They went out and found work.
1.8 million of them.
Some of them created their own jobs in an entrepreneurial way, but they did.
And so Obama clearly opposed ending the extension of benefits.
Obama wants people on government benefits.
He wants people subservient and uh uh loyal to the Democrat Party on benefits, and they didn't extend them.
He he opposed it.
And these people didn't sit around and wait for some other benefit program to kick in.
They went out and found work.
Now they were able to.
We have to admit they were able.
1.8 million people, one million of them were able to go out and find work.
Some of them created their own jobs.
Some of them ended up doing work the illegals refused to do.
Now that's another thing that's happening.
Some work, even the illegals refused to do it.
So the long-term unemployed Americans decided they would do it.
It's amazing how these cycles end up overlapping.
Bottom line, ending unemployment benefits led to more people finding jobs.
And it uh it it it did have an effect on the unemployment rate, a couple other factors as well, but caller had a uh good memory, and but I have confirmed it.
I thought somebody might have been yanking my chain.
I have to be very careful of that.
You know, anybody can send me anything.
I can't tell you the number of times in my career I've been tripped up by people sending me a bunch of crap that I thought was real, and I ran with it.
So I'm very good.
Long ago, I learned that lesson long ago.
So now I'm very, very guarded.
And it's uh nevertheless true.
Zeke Miller, political reporter for time, is the pool reporter with Obama right now, wherever he is, he's out there touting his economy and all of the um new jobs being created.
And this pool reporter, Zeke Miller, filing a report on Hillary's emails, says that uh Obama says he learned about the situation from news reports.
I mean, it's becoming a joke.
This is the third or fourth major news event that Obama claims to have known nothing about until any of us found out about it.
He's gotta be livid.
Can you imagine who I would not want to be the guy to have to tell Obama this?
That Hillary was using a private email server and account.
Here's uh Sumi in Charlotte, North Carolina.
It's great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
Hi, yeah.
I'm amazed to call on the most impossible day of the week.
Well, you made it.
Yeah.
Um since uh several years I've been I've been thinking that the liberal lexicon you have in your second book, that could really use an update.
Perhaps even a regular update.
Well, give me an example.
I mean, not of the old lexicon.
I wrote um what do you mean?
What needs to be updated?
Um many of the um the words that uh liberals, progressives or so use.
Um they've changed over the years.
Even the uh definitions of change, like for instance, uh I see Um pay bomb weapon used by the United States to destroy peaceful people of Hiroshima Nagasaki.
Today it might uh even have a more uh positive bent when uh when mentioned, say, with Iran or uh or uh the uh Islamic State or so.
I see what you mean.
I see what you mean.
Well, um, yeah, things I I understand that.
I people always want more from me.
You know, Snerdley's always told me this.
And uh I've I've always I've always said, look, I've been there done that.
I've got the liberal leg, yeah, but you need to update it.
But that would mean writing a whole new book.
I mean, if I want to distribute it, it's got to be in a book out there.
I could put it on maybe the website.
I don't know.
But anyway, it's a great suggestion, and I understand why you may I appreciate that very much.
Um who's next?
We're gonna get John in Belleville, Pennsylvania.
Next up, open line Friday.
How's it going?
Oh, Rush, it's a it's a thrill and an honor to get to talk to you.
Thank you, sir, very much.
I'm glad you made it through.
Uh, first, I do want to say that I think that 90-something percent accuracy figures incorrect.
I've watched and I've arrested, and I believe you're a hundred percent.
Well, you're very kind, sir.
Now, my question, I know I'll sound like a kook, but uh assuming that uh the Democrats can't come up with anybody decent to win the presidency, and the powers that that push Obama's buttons tell him to stay as president or stay on because of some created crisis.
How in the world do we get him out of there?
The Republicans don't have the gall to do it, and I think the Supreme Court is pretty well left-leaning at this point.
So, how do we get rid of Obama if he decides to do that?
Well, let's put let's let's let's put this in a scenario.
Because some of you might be thinking, all right, Rush, now this is we're going too far now.
I mean, all you guys thinking Obama's doing this and that, and he's violating the Constitution, but he would never.
Well, let's construct a scenario and see if it has even the slightest bit of believability.
And let's establish some things that we know to be true that Obama also knows.
And chief among those is that the Republican Party has said that impeachment is off the table.
The re more than once they've said this, the Republican Party has made it clear that they will not use that constitutional measure as a means of reigning Obama in.
And maybe even getting him out of office.
They have also made it very clear in just the most recent vote on the funding for Department of Homeland Security that they will not use the power of the purse to stop Obama.
Okay, so those two realities equal.
Obama fully aware the Republican Party will take no steps to stop him in his ongoing violations and running up to the edges of the Constitution.
Now, let's fast forward to say May, June of 2016.
Let's say that Mrs. Clinton has withstood all of this email stuff.
Elizabeth Warren has not gotten in the race, that Al Gore took the temperature and decided not to go, that it's just Mrs. Clinton and Joe Biden.
On the other side, the Republican has a uh field has a great list of possible candidates, and they will have it by that time engaged in a vigorous debate, which may have served to educate the country on the foibles and the problems of the past eight years, and the country may be looking forward to a dramatic change to Republican in the election of 2016.
Obama fully aware of this, would go on television and say that the Democrat field is so weak that he's not confident that Mrs. Clinton can win.
He might even take steps to get her to, you know, to to make sure she can't win, you know, sabotage her campaign.
And then call a national speech to the nation in which his main point is that it's beginning to look like the Republicans will win the White House, and this is something that he can't risk.
Not after eight courageous years of transforming America, we just can't put it all to risk of being unraveled and undone by these racist, sexist, misogynist, whatever else, Republicans, and so as a service to the nation and to his accomplishments.
He is going to forget the 22nd amendment and either not leave office or run for re-election himself as the Democrat nominee.
Just imagine that scenario.
I don't care how unreal it sounds, how unbelievable it sounds, Imagine it.
What would anybody do?
What would Mitch McConnell do?
What would John Boehner do?
Mark Levin would have a heart attack.
I would probably have an aneurysm.
We'd be done.
What would what would anybody do?
The Supreme Court would say, nobody has standing here.
There's no case yet.
Obama hadn't done anything yet.
We can't do anything about this until he actually serves a third term.
Then you got to bring the case to us.
What would anybody do if he says this?
The media would be cheering it.
Put all this in the mix.
This guy's out there thinking about this.
It's it's hard to believe.
It's so unlikely, but don't think Obama's planning on staying in Washington part of the time.
He's got a plan to continue to live in Washington after he has left office for that exact reason.
Whoever the next president, Republican or Democrat, if that next president starts to unravel any of this, Obama's on television every night and he knows he's going to have the media in his back pocket, and whoever the next president is not going to get away with anything without a huge fight from Obama.
What would the Republicans do?
I think the odds are the Republicans might call an emergency constitutional convention and amend the 22nd Amendment, permitting Obama to do this because their fear of being critical of Obama would destroy their chances of winning with the independents.
Okay, so the feds are going to indict Menendez on corruption charges.
Don't forget Bob Menendez said that the administration's talking points on a deal with Iran are straight out of Tehran.
And he also opposes the regime's new open policy with Cuba.
And what Menendez did for crying out loud, Ted Kennedy was made a hero for.
And Bill Clinton is a rock star in the Democrat Party.
For worse than what Menendez did.
I mean, Clinton was flying around with donors all over the place with women.
This is fascinating to see.
I mean, this is this is pretty obvious what happened here.
Don't be surprised at this menendez business.
These people play for keeps, folks.
I mean, this is insolence.
Bob Menendez, big Democrat, and opposing Obama on Iran, but it's not just opposing Obama.
That puts him in alignment with Netanyahu.
And that alone would be would be enough.
Play for keeps up there.
Two strikes you're out with Obama.
The other one's Cuba.
And remember, folks, I'm not here Monday.
It's the annual uh charitable golf tournament, the tournament I play in every year this this time of year.
Mark Belling will be here on Monday.
I'll be thinking about you on Monday and be here back here on Tuesday.
