Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
So I had to make an emergency trip to uh Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.
And I'm on the airplane and flying out there, and I I forget what day that the hours are running together.
I got an email from a friend of mine in Hawaii.
He said, I don't believe what I just saw.
So I wrote back, what did you just saw?
I just saw the Limbaugh Theorem wide open.
Obama's in Brisbane, Australia.
Yeah, he said he just found out that day about Gruber and what he's been saying about Obamacare, and he's livid.
He's fit to be tight about it.
He's going to get to the bottom of it.
And he didn't know who Gruber was, other than he was some sort of admiser.
And I said, This is great.
Now even people are calling me or sending me emails saying that they are seeing examples of the Limbaugh theorem.
This is so brazen.
This is just great.
Great to have you, folks, Rush Limbaugh and broadcast excellence, raring and ready to go for another week, and here it is.
Early Sunday morning in Brisbane, Australia's the end of the G20 summit.
President Obama at a news conference.
Ed Henry from Fox News is there.
And he said, at your Burma Town Hall a couple days ago, you tried to inspire young leaders by saying governments need to be held accountable and responsive to the people.
Well, I wonder how you squared that with your former advisor, Jonathan Gruber, claiming you were not transparent about the health care law, because in his words, the American people, the voters are stupid, and you had to lie to them in order to get this law passed.
Did you mislead Americans about the taxes about keeping your plan in order to get the bill passed, Mr. President?
No.
I I did not.
I just heard about this.
Yeah, I get well briefed uh before I come out here.
Uh the the fact that some advisor who never worked on our staff uh expressed an opinion that uh I completely disagree with uh in terms of the voters is no reflection on the actual process that was run.
This is unbelievable.
This is this little sound bite of 23 seconds may be more jam-packed with lies than any 23-second presidential soundbite I've ever played for you.
I did not.
I just heard about this.
Just now, I get well briefed.
I just heard about this.
The fact that some advisor who never worked in our staff, he was in meetings with Obama.
Gruber has been bragging about them.
Obama has talked about Gruber being in meetings.
Never worked in our staff, expressed an opinion I completely disagree with.
He was not just a member of the staff, he's paid 400 grand alone just for this.
We have done the numbers, by the way.
Gruber has made almost six million dollars in government contracts, advising them on various things.
Gruber even has his hands.
What is the other thing he's got his hands in?
Um uh climate change, no, not climate change.
He's got his hands in something else.
He's got his hands in Obamacare, and he's got his hands in advising them.
Oh, amnesty.
Gruber has his hands in advising the regime on amnesty, illegal immigration, how to do it, when to do it, what to do it, and all that.
The guy's deep.
He's a rock star with these people.
But there's no difference.
Gruber and Obama are the same person.
They are the same guy, the same outlook.
That's why Gruber was hired.
That's why Gruber is there.
And this is the Limbaugh theorem, folks.
This is it, right front and center.
Obama confronted with it and says, No, I didn't know about this.
I'm just as mad about it as you are.
I am livid.
I'm gonna get to the bottom of this, some advisor out there running off at the mouth.
And it just confirms how stupid he thinks you are.
That sound bite is an exclamation point to how stupid and gullible Obama believes you to be.
He then talked about how the the bill was debated and debated, and everybody knew what was in it.
He continued after saying he only heard about this recently, and he's mad about it.
Some advisor never worked on the bill, blah, blah.
We had a Year-long debate, Ed.
I mean, go back and look at your stories.
The one thing we can't say is that we did not have a lengthy debate about health care in the United States of America, or that it was not adequately covered.
I mean, I would just advise all of every press outlet here, go back and pull up every clip, every story, and I think it'll it's fair to say that there was not a a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and was fully transparent.
Now, seriously, what are we to do about this?
This this is this is uh sociopathic.
This is psychosomatic, there's something terribly wrong here.
I mean, that this is just a blatant lying.
There's no transparent.
This guy lied 31 times, I think.
Yeah, he was at least 23 and maybe 31 times.
You keep your doctor if you like it, keep your keep your plan if you like it.
At least 23 times he told that lie.
Pelosi's out there saying, no, nobody knows what's in this bill.
You've got to pass the bill to find out what's in it.
There was nothing transparent about it.
Everything about this bill was hidden.
The people that voted on the bill didn't didn't know what was in it.
It was 2,200 pages.
The people that read the bill were the opponents of the bill, like me and others in the new media were trying to sound a clarion call to people all over the country.
What's in this bill is bad, it's horrible, it's rotten, it's gonna upset everything, it's not good, you're gonna lose health care coverage, it's gonna get more expensive.
We warned everybody about it.
He says that this is just I don't know what you do with this.
There's over 22,000 pages of regulations written after the bill was passed that have never been debated.
The bill itself was never debated.
There were never any committee hearings with experts called up.
You have a piece of legislation like this.
Normally what happens is that there are committees in the Senate and the House that debate and conduct hearings with experts on the various proposals, so that members of Congress can so-called inform themselves before the vote.
There was none of that.
This thing was ramrotted through.
There was no transparent situation.
So this is just a blatant, once again in our face lie that is again indicative of how stupid he believes everybody is.
And I let me tell you there's a lesson here.
We've got polling data uh on on Obamacare now.
There's two polls out, one's Gallup and one comes from uh the Young Guns, Republican Young Guns program, the YG network.
And it says that the most important issue to voters right now is Obamacare across the board.
80 percent of voters is the most important.
90 percent of Democrats, it's the most important issue.
77% of Republicans, it's the most important issue.
73 percent of independence, it's the most important issue, and a majority, 54 percent, said they would rather repeal this thing in total instead of keeping it.
Fifty-four percent of the American people, including a lot of Democrats, think Obamacare should be repealed.
Here is the Gallup story.
Support for Obamacare continues to decline with the law hitting a new low in approval and a new high in disapproval, as the second enrollment period has opened for Americans.
Just thirty-seven percent approve of Obamacare.
That's a percentage point less than the previous law recorded in January.
The the new disapproval number is fifty-six percent, and that's a high in the Gallup poll.
So let's take an average, we got 55 percent of the American people at this stage who oppose this thing and want it repealed, and he's out there just lying in everybody's faces, right to us about every aspect of this.
And he's doing it within the confines of the limbaugh theorem.
He just found out about it.
No, this is outrageous, he's mad.
This is advisor running around and saying this kind of stuff.
There wasn't I mean, there were all kinds of debates.
This guy didn't know what he's talking about, blah, blah.
We're gonna get to the bottom of this when I get back to town.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
He's making a fool of himself, but he doesn't care, folks.
He doesn't care because public opinion has never mattered to him, because he's been governing against the will of the American people for four of the six years of his regime to begin with.
The last four.
So public opinion doesn't matter.
All of this is is just it's blatant.
And I I'm gonna tell you something.
I the here's the way To deal with this, well, not the way to deal with it, but there's this a teachable moment.
There's something for everybody to learn here.
Given the size and scope of Obamacare, and given what everybody knows about it now, what Gruber said over and over again.
Even you got Bob Schiefer.
Poor old Bob Schiefer faced the nation.
He just devastated when he heard what sh what Gruber was saying.
He just can't believe anybody with government would lie this way.
He can't believe anybody in a high position.
A government would talk about the American people this way.
Bob Schiefer in all of his years, he's dinosaur status now.
He can't believe this.
And of course, the smart thing to do is to distrust anything coming out of this regime.
There's something out there that they're pushing, and it's it can be really complicated if you listen to the wrong people about it, and that's called net neutrality.
It's something that is totally miss titled.
There's nothing neutral about net neutrality, what the regime wants to do.
But here's the thing.
I'm telling you, you don't even need to know what it's about.
All you need to know is who is behind it, and that alone should disqualify your support.
The same people that have given us Obamacare and the way they did it, lied through their teeth, misrepresent, ran a con game.
They're still running the con.
Here's the thing.
You remember the movie The Sting?
I remember that movie.
I like that movie.
One of the reasons I like the movie is because I figured it out before it happened.
I've always it's one of the few times in a novel or a book or a movie that I actually was ahead of the plot.
And normally I read a novel, a mystery novel, and wait for things to be revealed.
I don't try to figure it out.
And the sting, for some reason, it all came to me.
So when the final sting happened, I had already suspected that's what was going to say.
I wasn't as shocked as the rest of the audience was.
But one thing I remember about that movie.
I think it was the Newman character.
Henry Gondorf said the key to the con is that it's never over.
You never let the person you conned know he's been conned.
Never.
The con goes on.
Well, that's what's happening here.
They have run a giant con game on the population of this country of Obamacare, and they are continuing to run the con.
That's they are not giving it up.
They are not going to admit they've been had.
They are not going to admit they've been exposed.
They're going to continue to operate on the belief that got them here, and that is that you're too stupid to figure this out, and that you still love and respect the office of the presidency enough that you will believe what your president is telling you about this.
That he didn't know about it, that he's angry about it, that this is what Gruber's saying didn't happen, that Gruber had no power.
He was a simple advisor, he had no influence, that our process was wide open and transparent, and everybody knew everything about they're running a con game, and they're denying or they're demanding you to deny it.
They are you never admit the con.
Because that would then, in the case of a politician, that would damage any future cons that you want to run.
Well, we're, I'm telling you, net neutrality is the next con game they're running.
And the question you need to ask you do you want the people?
You may not like Comcast, and you may not like ATT, and you may not like Time Warner, and you may not like.
But do you want the people who gave you Obamacare running your internet service?
Do you want them in charge of what you can get and when you can get it and how much it's going to cost you?
And are you going to believe anything they tell you about net neutrality given what you that's how people need to be dealing with this?
This is what frustrates me.
Here we have a teachable moment.
This is indisputable and inarguable what happened.
As such, Obama should have forever forfeited any credibility or believability.
Obama is now fully exposed as nothing more in common parlance as a lying con man.
And he ought not ever get away with again.
Not after something this big that is this damaging and this costly to this many people.
And they're coming at us again.
I don't care what it is.
Global warming or climate change, whatever you're going to call it, uh immigration amnesty or net neutrality.
The fact is they have forfeited any credibility and believability on any of this.
And anybody paying attention ought to be suspicious of everything they say about what they intend to do, how they intend to do it, and what its intended benefits are, because they are lying through their teeth.
And these polling numbers, it's time for the Republicans to man up and stop worrying about this constant this apparent cliche that no matter what happens, the Republicans are going to get blamed for the government shutdown.
And because they can't get they don't want to get blamed, they can't do it, they can't repeal Obamacare, they can't do it because it's an unwritten rule in Washington.
Whenever the government gets shut down, no matter who's responsible for it, the Republicans get the blame.
And as such, the Republicans take a giant weapon out of their arsenal of ammunition.
It's time to man up and start dealing with this thing.
That's what they were sent there to do.
They were sent there to deal with these kind of lies and this obfuscation, these con games, they were sent there to stop this.
They were not sent there to participate in it.
They were not sent there to govern and participate and compromise and advance a little bit up.
They were sent there to stop it.
This is not the first time that Obama has said, I just found out about this.
I just found out when you did.
I'm livid.
I can't believe this.
We're gonna get to the bottom of it.
We have a montage.
March 2009 through November 2014.
Here's Obama talking about all the various scandals he's faced.
And they they're not identified.
I could go through and tell you after the bite what each one's about, but it doesn't matter.
What you heard him say in Brisbane.
Now I just know about this.
I just heard about this.
I'm as mad about this as you are.
I'm gonna get to the bottom of this, blah, blah.
We've got countless examples.
Here we go.
I just heard about this.
Some advisor who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion that uh I completely disagree with.
I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this.
Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it.
Nobody's madder than me.
I heard on the news about this.
It's very upsetting to me that somebody showed such bad judgment.
If it turns out some of the allegations that have been made in the press are confirmed, then of course I'll be angry.
I've got no patience with it.
I will not tolerate it.
I am furious at this entire situation.
We're gonna hold the responsible parties accountable.
I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press.
The minute I found out about it, then my main focus is making sure that we get the thing fixed.
People are right to be angry.
I'm angry.
It was something uh we found out about uh along with all of you.
I will not stand for it.
Not as commander in chief, none of us should.
It is dishonorable, it is disgraceful, and I will not tolerate it.
Period.
Gotta take a break.
I'll tell you what those were about when we get back.
Don't go away.
Okay, that montage, we just played for you with all of those examples of Obama saying he just heard about this.
Some advisor just been saying this stuff, and I'm mad about it, I'm as mad about it as you are, and I want to get to the bottom of it, we're gonna find out what happened.
The things he was referring to in that man montage in order were Gruber and Obamacare, the IRS targeting conservatives, that was in May of 2013.
Again, the IRS targeted conservatives, May of 13.
Obamacare rollout, the disaster that it was, October of 13.
That's when nobody mattered than me.
Fast and furious, the gun running program designed to do damage to public opinion on the second amendment.
That was October 2011.
I just heard about the news.
I just heard about on the news on this.
I'm as mad about it as you are.
It's very upsetting to me.
Did somebody show such bad judgment?
Secret Service scandal next.
April 15th, 2012.
Again with the IRS targeting conservatives.
He expressed shock and outrage again.
The BP Gulf oil spill, June 30th of 210.
I'm furious to terror situation.
Uh no idea.
Yeah, They were lagging no far back.
IRS targeting again, May of 13.
IRS targeting, May of 13.
IRS targeting May up.
There's all kinds of revelations that kept coming out about that.
And with each one, Obama said he had no idea.
He just heard about it on the news, just the same time you did.
He's just as mad about it as you are.
He's not going to put up with it.
He's going to get to the bottom of it.
Bonuses on Wall Street, March of 2009.
People are angry.
They're right to be angry.
I'm angry.
This should not be happening.
The Air Force plane, Air Force One flying over Manhattan on April of 09.
His donors being flown over Manhattan.
He said, something we just found out about along with all of you.
He had no idea Air Force One was in the air.
And the VA scandal in May of 2014.
All of those Obama claimed he knew nothing about until you knew.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's uh I'm going to admit it.
It's amusing.
And I'm not trying to sound elitist or uppity.
It's amusing to watch various personages in the drive-by media discuss the DEA raids of three NFL visiting teams yesterday as these uh media experts attempt to explain to their audiences what's up here.
Why would the DEA do?
What were they doing?
And then they explain it.
Well, what they're after, what they're trying to find.
They're trying to find these doctors.
They're prescribing painkillers, and they're not allowed to.
It's an overprescribed, ruining the players' group.
That's not what this was about.
And I'm gonna take some time to explain to you what this really was about and what it what it might mean down the road in due course, but it was.
Yeah, some people are saying it's it's tied to the there's a class action suit that a bunch of players, ex-players have filed against the NFL, that they were given drugs that were not explained to them.
Uh various drugs that caused organ damage or addiction or what have you, and there's some ex-players trying to uh collect financially on damages here.
And some people in the media say the DEA raid of these visiting teams, it's that's what that was about.
And it's it's a little no, that I don't think the two are really could be related, but that's not what really is going on here.
I'll explain it in due course.
I I was thinking about leading off with that, but this this Obamacare stuff is just is just too important, and the things that are happening here, we have such a small window to get this right, and a large part of getting this right is gonna be the Republicans manning up and realizing they have the American people behind them in trying to bring about a stop to the advancements policy-wise
of the regime.
Now, sticking with this, Melissa Francis, Melissa Francis, and the Fox Business Network.
She used to be at CNBC.
And she was uh Friday afternoon of Fox Business Network, she got her own show called Money with Melissa Francis, and they were doing a story on the opening of the second phase of the Obamacare Exchange open enrollment period.
And she revealed some of what happened to her when she was at MS or at CNBC in terms of what she was allowed to report and what she was ordered not to say.
I said on the air that you couldn't add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their preexisting conditions without raising the price on everyone else.
I pointed out that it couldn't possibly be true that if you like your plan, you can keep it.
That was a lie.
And in fact, millions of people had their insurance canceled.
As a result of what I said at CNBC, I was called into management where I was told that I was, quote, disrespecting the office of the president by telling what turned out to be the absolute truth.
So Melissa Francis meet Cheryl Atkinson.
Another reporter blowing the whistle on how the drive by media has protected Obama.
Now, in this case, CNBC at the time was owned partially by General Electric, and the CEO of GE had a relationship with Obama.
His name was Jeffrey Immelt.
He was uh he was on Obama's jobs council, if you'll recall.
What a bang up job that munch's done.
Yeah, had all these job summits, and Melt is in charge of the jobs council, and there was some crony capitalism going on between Obama and GE in terms of green energy and government grants.
And so the management at CNBC told her, you shut up, you do not embarrass the office of the president because unstated, we are in bed with it.
You're not going to tell the truth about this on a news network, on a financial news network.
You're not going to tell the truth about this.
This goes way beyond media bias now.
This is tantamount to state-controlled media.
All she did was tell the truth.
There's no way prices can come down if it's going to accomplish all this.
There's no way your premiums get smaller.
There is no way we insure the uninsured.
There's no way we cover people with pre-existing, because that's not even insurance.
Look, I don't want to.
I don't want to muddy the waters, but there is no such thing as insurance for a pre-existing condition.
Do you think you'd be able to buy homeowners insurance after your house was halfway burned down?
You can't do it.
Nobody will sell it to you.
You cannot buy that kind of insurance.
You cannot go out and buy a policy at market prices and have them pay off when your house is in the process of burning down.
Well, it's the same thing with the pre-existing condition.
If if if you have a pre-existing condition and you demand insurance for what you're getting is not insurance.
And I don't want to offend anybody, but it's welfare.
It doesn't matter what you call it.
Obamacare offered it, or they made people think they did.
That's a dirty little secret.
It turns out that it wasn't as plentiful and available as they bragged about it.
It was just one of the many lies, misdirections that they engaged in.
But her point is, no matter what you call it, it costs a lot of money to do that.
It costs a lot of money to insure the uninsured.
It costs a lot of money if you're going to let people keep their doctors and plans and all that stuff.
And she pointed out there's no way this what they're saying about prices coming down and health care getting cheaper could be true.
And she's told to shut up by her own network.
So she's gone from CNBC.
She's over at Fox this morning on Fox and Friends, Peter Johnson Jr. spoke with uh Melissa Francis about this.
And he said, When you saw what Jonathan Gruber and all these folks have come out and said now, how does how does that make you feel?
And you'll also hear Steve Ducey in this.
Made me feel terrible that you know he was counting on the job of business news and what we do at Fox Business is to make the dollars and cents of life make sense for people.
That's exactly what needed to happen with Obamacare to say, look, guys, let's do the math and lay it out and know the facts and then make a decision.
Maybe we're still in favor of this.
Maybe you still want to go ahead, but you have to understand the real facts.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't fight back harder.
I mean, I did value my position.
It wasn't that long before I left, but I was called in numerous times.
I mean, it wasn't just once.
She was called in numerous times, told to shut up.
She was called in numerous times.
Her job was subtly threatened numerous times if she kept telling the truth about this.
Okay, what does that tell you?
In the previous example, whatever else this regime comes forward with, whether it's a plan to stop global warming or a plan to save whatever or net neutrality, I'm telling you, folks, you need to believe none of it.
You need to automatically oppose everything this regime tells you.
The wise thing to have done would have been to done that even before Obama was sworn into office.
But it's too late for that now.
But it's not too late for people to wake Up and simply oppose everything they suggest from now on, based on the glaring inexcusable example of deception.
What an intricate, intricately woven web of deceit, lying, insulting lying.
A con game run on the American people by the party supposedly looking out for the little guy.
A con game run by the party that cares about the downtrodden, that cares about the poor, that cares about the homeless, that cares about all of these victims of the Republicans and the conservatives and the rich, and they're running a con game on them.
They're scamming them, and they're essentially taking money out of their pockets in the form of lies, and they've got this guy out there laughing about how easy it was to run this con.
Gruber, laughing and getting applause from his elitist economic buddies about how smart and how wise and how brilliant it was to lie to you and us.
Because you are so stupid.
So next they come with net neutrality?
No way.
You need to just tell them take it and put it where the sun don't shine, because you don't believe a thing they're saying about it.
And furthermore, do you want the same people who have now gummed up everything they've touched?
Do you want them gumming up the internet?
You may not like what it is now.
I I don't know what popular perception of the internet is, but I know cable companies are hated.
Just like big oil is hated.
I mean, it's it's it's it's a standard emotion.
Everybody hates the cable companies.
Everybody hates the utility company, everybody hates a phone company.
I understand that.
What everybody ought to distrust and want no part of is the government coming in and taking over for those people and running it.
You think it's bad now?
It's only going to get worse, gummed up, become more and more unfair, and furthermore, it's going to become more and more expensive.
And the proof positive, here are the same people lying to your face about how much cheaper and inexpensive your health care is going to be.
They have to lie to you because they know you won't support what they're really going to do.
So they've told you how they operate.
They've given you the modus operandi, not just for Obamacare, but for everything they do.
So the next they come down the pike and they tell you they're going to make the internet fair, and they're going to make the internet equal, and they're going to make sure that nobody gets any preferred speeds, nobody gets any preferred data delivery, nobody gets any preferred pipes.
Everybody's going to be equal in the internet.
Just like everybody was going to be able to keep their doctor, and just like everybody was going to be able to keep their plan, and just like everybody's premiums are going to go down $2,500, and just like everybody was going to be able to have health insurance it didn't have before, and just like everybody was going to have it subsidized, and just like everybody was going to be paying less.
Do not believe a syllable these people tell you.
I don't care if it's Obama.
I don't care if it's Biden.
I don't care if it's John Kerry, if it's Hillary or whoever.
You have intelligence guided by experience now.
The only intelligent, reasonable thing to do is to treat these people as the suspects that they are.
And it's time to admit they do not have your best interests at heart.
They are not doing what they're doing for you.
Be it amnesty, be it executive action on limiting deportation, whatever they want to call it, be it net neutrality, I don't care what it is.
They have forfeited all credibility and believability.
And you need to be suspicious of everything.
And now, here's another reporter describing how her news network was in cahoots with the regime, pressuring her to not tell that network's audience the truth.
A network dealing with finance.
The dollars and cents of the money in the back pockets of the audience of that network were purposely on purpose being lied to.
And when a reporter deigned to tell the truth, she was the one threatened, she was the one intimidated, she was the one that finally had to leave.
And now she's admitting to facing regrets that she didn't fight back.
Hard enough.
One more sound bite before we go to the break, just to continue to stamp more nails into the coffin of lies that is the Obama administration.
This is October 1st of 2009.
This is, therefore, five years ago.
It's on Capitol Hill in Washington during a Senate Finance Committee markup.
They're debating amendments of the Obamacare Bill.
Senator John Kerry, who, by the way, once served in Vietnam, the haughty John Kerry spoke about one part of an amendment under discussion and had this to say about it.
According to Gruber, who has been our guide on a lot of this, it's somewhere in the vicinity of an $8 billion cost.
According to Gruber, they're talking about Obamacare.
Senator Kerry says, according to Gruber, who has been our guide on this.
It's somewhere in the vicinity of an $8 billion cost.
Would you grab audio soundbite number one?
Very quick, very quickly.
Gruber, Kerry says, has been our guide on this.
Here's Obama yesterday.
No, I did not.
I just heard about this.
Yeah, I get well briefed before I come out here.
The fact that some advisor who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is no reflection on the actual process that was run.
You have to take a break.
Figure it out, folks.
It's wide open out there.
And we're back.
Rush Limbaugh on the cutting edge of societal evolution.
Okay, very quickly, we're going to get back to this and the uh the whole business of uh the idea that Republicans can't really do anything about this because they can't shut down the government.
No matter how the government gets shut down, the Republicans are going to get to blame.
And that is something that the elitists in the beltway say the Republicans cannot recover from.
And so we can't even entertain it.
We can't even go there.
And I think people who say that are actually doing their own version of Gruber.
Gruber said what?
Gruber said that people are stupid.
American people are stupid.
Even though that they're stupid, we've got to lie to them.
But we're going to rely on the stupidity of the American people.
Okay, if you believe, if you are the uh an inside the beltway media or elected official elitist or honcho, and if you don't want to get anywhere near action,
like a series of bills that would deny Obamacare the funding necessary either to implement amnesty or elements of Obamacare, because that would be a government shutdown, and the Republicans will get blamed no matter what happens, and they will never recover from it, and it's horrible and it's messy.
Aren't you essentially the same as Jonathan Gruber?
Don't you aren't you really saying the American people are too stupid to understand what's really going on?
Aren't you saying, no, no, we we can't have a series of bills that'll defund uh various steps of amnesty?
Why that that would shut down the government and it will get blamed for it.
So you're relying, you believe the American people are so stupid that they will, even though they just elected you to stop this, that when you take action to stop it, that they're gonna get so mad at you that you're gonna shutting down the government that they're never gonna elect you again, and that the media is gonna have a field day with you.
Aren't you kind of just like Jonathan Gruber?
Aren't you in essence?
No, we can't do what's right because the American people are too stupid to see what we're doing, and they will blame us.
And we don't want to get blamed.
It seems to me that a year ago in December, there was a government shutdown, and Ted Cruz got blamed for it left and right.
And the last I saw, the Republicans just won a landslide election.
A Little over a week ago.
So where is it written that government shutdowns destroy Republican electoral efforts?
Where is it written that defunding this part of Obamacare or that part of Amnesty equals a government shutdown anyway?
I think it's time for people to realize Republicans, especially the people who voted for them, are not stupid.
Hang in there be tough, folks.
Much more.
