Now we have we have heard today, Jonathan Gruber, and we play the audio son by Jonathan Gruber, MIT economist, the scam artist, the con artist, disguised as an economist professor at MIT, running around as pajama boy metrosexual, bragging and bragging about how they scammed this group and that group, and they lied about what was in Obamacare because they had to.
The American people too stupid.
Couldn't figure out the brilliance of the plan, and they had to do a couple other scams.
And then it was so cool, it's so cool, and it gets all these people laughing at the scams they pulled off today.
Obama on schedule is acting like he knew nothing about it and is livid.
Angry as he can be about it.
Heads are gonna roll.
Nobody at the White House knew about this.
Nobody in a White House was in on this.
Hell, Gruber, I barely remember the name.
Pelosi said she never heard of Gruber except for when she worked with him.
Gruber also credited Ted Kennedy with coming up a really clever scam that scammed uh, what was it?
Uh about $800 million, 400 million dollars from the feds in Massachusetts for Romney care.
Yeah, he was the architect of Romney care as well.
That's why the regime hired him to do Obamacare.
Because he was the he was the economic intellectual egghead that got all the credit for Romney care.
And he's got this sound bite today where he praises Ted Kennedy's coming up with this brilliant scam to help Massachusetts trick the feds, as he referred to them, in paying for a lot of Romney care in Massachusetts.
And so people say, Well, what did he do?
Well, there's a story in the Daily Caller about this in several Jonathan Gruber lectures, which are available online, drive by media only yesterday, beginning to get to this.
The MIT economist walks his audience through the process of how Obamacare came into being.
We had a pretty powerful senator.
You may have heard of uh Ted Kennedy.
Ted Kennedy had managed to figure out a way to rip off the federal Medicaid program to the tune of about 500 million dollars a year through a series of strange manipulations.
This is Gruber actually explaining to an applauding audience.
Now, folks, by the way, don't misunderstand something here.
I'm not naive.
I don't think this is the first scam that's ever been.
That's not that's not the reason why we're all incredulous.
These are bank robbers in the federal government applauding each other and wanting applause and bragging about how they robbed the bank.
And nobody's talking about that.
What they're talking about here is Gruber's insult of the American people as being stupid.
Nobody's talking about the fraud that existed in putting this thing together.
Nobody is talking about how Gruber admits this whole thing is a fraud.
The whole thing is illegitimate.
The whole thing is against the law, and they're bragging about how they did it.
And they're bringing up Ted Kennedy's name from the grave.
As a great guy, he figured out a way to rip off the Federal Medicaid for How many times have we heard Democrats run around accusing the Republicans of wanting to cut Medicaid, cut Medicare, cut Social Security.
And in the process, people are supposed to hate the Republicans.
The Republicans are mean spirited extremists.
They're just dirty and rotten to the core, and they don't care about old people, and they don't care about gays, and they don't care about women, and they don't care about kids, they don't care about anybody.
They hate everybody.
They love pollution, they love dirty water, they love dirty air.
They love stinky skies.
They love giant airplanes.
They love running rough shot over money.
And it's all lies.
And here come the same people who accuse the Republicans of cutting Medicaid and cutting Medicare and cutting Social Security and kicking old people out of their houses.
Bragging about how they do it.
Bragging about how they get away with it.
And nobody's even talking about that aspect of this.
Well, I am.
And by the way, it's fine to be focused on what Gruber had to convince the American people because they're a bunch of stupid idiots.
Had to lie to them, had to brag about that.
But I mean, these are the people that run around accusing Republicans and conservatives of basically being human debris and reprobates.
False accusations, lying about Republicans all day, every day, sun up to sundown.
And here they are, one of their leading lights, Jonathan Gruber, ooh, big wolf, running around bragging about how they actually do it and being applauded for it.
We had a pretty powerful senator.
You may have heard of Ted Kennedy, and he had managed to figure out a way to rip off the federal Medicaid program to tune up $500 million a year.
Through a series of strange manipulations.
Here was Mitt Romney's dirty little secret that we don't like to talk about in Massachusetts, which is the way we passed our law is the federal government paid for it.
The federal government pays for nothing until it takes money away from everybody in the form of tax.
Federal government pays for nothing.
The American taxpayer paid for Romney care, and Ted Kennedy was behind the screw job.
And Gruber wants credit for this and wants applause for this.
Gruber further went on to say, George Bush saw what was going on, and he said, Why am I sending this Democrat, meaning Ted Kennedy, $500 million a year?
He said, I'm taking this back.
We're not going to give Massachusetts $500 million a year, Gruber explained.
And Mitt Romney, to his credit, went to George Bush and said, Look, can we keep the money if we use it for universal coverage?
And Bush, to his credit, said yes.
Okay, so the next phase is Ted Kennedy finds a way to scam $500 million a year from Medicaid.
Remember, it was the Republicans who are going to cut Medicaid.
Find a way to scam 500 million, Bush finds out about the hell with this.
And Romney says, wait a minute, wait a minute.
What if we use that money for universal care?
Universal coverage.
Meaning everybody will get covered.
And supposedly Bush said, Well, if you're going to put it to that kind of use, then okay.
Gruber said, We realize that we can't do this at the state level anymore.
The feds are going to have to get involved.
So Ted Kennedy was allowed to do it and get away with it and be applauded for doing it in Massachusetts.
But now when we move forward to Obamacare, there's nobody to scam.
Who's the federal government going to scam?
The Chicoms?
Massachusetts could go to the Federal Treasury get money.
Where's the U.S. government going to go?
Borrow it or print it or what have you.
Now I don't think most people know this.
But but Medicaid Was always supposed to be paid for and run by the states.
If Massachusetts happened to get a little too liberal with their Medicaid, why should the rest of us have to pay the price?
But that's what happened.
In other words, Ted Kennedy, state of Massachusetts, they didn't have the money for Romney care.
It should have died right there.
There wasn't the money for it.
But that didn't matter.
With liberal Democrats, that's never the answer.
Oh, there isn't anymore.
Well, where are we going to get it then?
So they scam the program.
They scam the fades.
The feds.
Gruber followed a similar script in other lectures, including one at Washington University in St. Louis.
And another at the University of Rhode Island in 2012.
And the University of Rhode Island event, Gruber said that Kennedy was delivering about 400 million dollars a year in slush funds to our safe net hospitals, basically ripping off the Federal Medicaid program.
So it's 500 or 400 million, but Gruber's running around bragging about how all this happened.
And the Washington Times treatment of this headline taxpayers paid millions for the deceptions of the Obamacare architect, the MIT economist, who is the brains behind Obamacare has made quite a stir with his admission that Obama's health care takeover was built on lies.
Gruber says that he was willing to say and do whatever it took to advance the scheme, and now it's clear why.
Obamacare made Gruber a millionaire at the expense of the taxpayers.
Now, I think we were among the first to mention that Gruber was getting paid 400,000 dollars to lie to us.
But it turns out that he was actually being paid millions of dollars.
But it was just the first contract that was the 400,000.
He ended up getting millions of dollars.
And notice this still isn't the drive-by media reporting this.
This is still the Washington Times, which is considered to be conservative media.
The news that he was being paid millions is found in an editorial here in the Washington Times.
The drive-by's haven't even gotten to it.
There is a Washington Post fact check story on some of this stuff, but most low information readers are not even going to go to a fact check article, and they're not, they're not by definition going to know what they've read when they finish it.
So the guy got millions, not just 400,000.
He was paid, let's see, we've got Michigan $481,000.
He was paid.
Minnesota $329,000.
Vermont $400,000.
Massachusetts paid him around $400,000.
And I don't really know what the federal consultant fee was.
And in some cases he had partners.
He worked with other consultants, so he had to divvy up some of that money.
But here's a guy's never worked a day in the in the free enterprise economy.
He's never had a job.
He's a professor.
I know it's a job, but he's got tenure, and it's not.
He doesn't have to do anything to keep the job.
He's not a exact, he's not a working staff.
He doesn't have to worry about finances.
Don't have to worry about anything.
And I'm I'm folks, I'm going to tell you something.
If your whole life you've never had to worry anything, I guarantee you, you're going to have to expend some effort to try to understand and relate to people who do.
And I don't think Gruber has bothered to try to do that.
It hasn't been necessary.
All he does is uh is talk down to them.
Impune them.
Yeah.
People paying him the millions of people at work, they're stupid.
But see, he's not alone.
The thing about this is Jonathan Gruber is Joe Biden.
Jonathan Gruber is John Kerry.
Jonathan Gruber is Obama.
Jonathan Gruben is Harry Reed.
Jonathan Gruber is all these other Democrats.
Elizabeth Warren, Hillary and Bill Clinton is who they are.
He's no different.
He's right at home with them.
Some of you might be saying, well, how did this guy end up getting hired if he's this big a scam artist?
Because other scam artists hired him.
That's why he got hired.
This is his skill.
This is his talent.
But Rush, but Rush, he's just an economics professor.
Yeah.
Just an economics professor.
No, he's much more than that.
He's now a figurehead.
He is he's a template for what the liberal wing of the Democrat Party is.
Have you seen where the commissioner of the NBA, the National Basketball Association, wants to legalize gambling on the sport?
And what do you think is the reason why?
Well, yeah, obviously more revenues.
Uh but no, the the reason why we want to legalize gambling is to bring it out of the shadows.
We want to bring it out of the shadows from the dark corners and reaches where it's occurring and be able to monitor it and regulate it.
And of course, da-da-da-da-da-da, tax it.
And there was a name for this, because what follows that is everybody's doing it now.
So we may as well bring it out of the darkness.
And the term for this, which was invented by Senator Daniel Patrick Mornihan was defining deviancy down.
Meaning when you reach that point of futility where you think you just can't stop aberrant behavior anymore, you just stop calling it aberrant behavior.
You legalize it, saying it's a changing world out there, and then you proclaim it to be okay and move on to the really bad stuff.
The really bad stuff you move on to used to never really happen much.
And it's a never-ending cycle where you give up in your effort to have a I don't moral or virtuous existence.
You give up on it.
Because everybody's doing it anyway.
The the the the cliche is erupt the genies out of the bottle.
You're never going to be able to stop people from Gamp Rush.
I remember how this remember when we started doing sex education in the schools.
And started uh using cucumbers and so forth to uh teach young children how to deploy condoms.
And the left said, hey, these kids are gonna have sex.
You can't stop it, Rush.
And they didn't weren't just saying it to me, they were saying to anybody that that opposed this kind of wanton cave in.
Come on, Rush.
You gotta know.
They're gonna have sex.
I mean, they've been doing it for years.
Kids, you you you can't stop it.
I said, okay, well then are we gonna put a pack of cigarettes and a lighter on the nightstand for when they f no!
No way!
We are not going to permit our kids to smoke.
Smoking kills Joe Campbell, no way.
Well, well, you mean you can stop them from smoking?
Damn right we can we're not gonna smoke.
We're gonna make it impossible.
No way.
Are you serious, Rush?
Give away cigarettes after sex.
Well, isn't that when you have one?
Well, even so, Rush, we're not gonna do that.
But you just said that kids, you can't stop them.
Well, you can't from having said you're gonna be you would be crazy.
You wanna you want to offer kids that just had sex cigarettes?
I said, well.
No, but you said you can't stop it.
So everybody has their their area where they'll stand up and say, no, no, no, no, you can't do that.
But anyway, if if the NBA leads off here with this, this is just and there's already been the stamp of approval from Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, who's eager to talk about regulating it and taxing it.
Here's uh here's June in St. Simon's Island.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
June, hello.
Hello, Russ.
This is exciting.
I have to say I can't imagine where this country would be without your insight and your courage.
Well, thank you very much.
Um I have a question.
Uh with all of these uh people coming across the border, we hear that the Middle Easterners are coming as well and learning Spanish and getting getting in.
And I'm wondering if you think Obama's amnesty will apply to those Middle Easterners coming across.
Oh, by all it's gonna apply to everybody.
It's gonna apply to Central Americans that are not from damn right it will be.
They all they're all potential Democrat voters.
They're not they're not gonna cherry pick these people say, Hey, only if you are from Mexico are we gonna let you come out of the shadows.
I don't think they're gonna have the ability to do that.
I was wondering.
Yep.
Well, I guess we'd better brace ourselves for that part of it as well.
Uh that's you know, whether they do amnesty or not, the bottom line, they're not securing the border.
So even even if they do their blanket pardon here, that's not gonna stop.
That's only gonna increase the flow across the border.
Which Obama and everybody on his side supporting this also know.
I don't know how many of you, if any, have had CNN on today, but they're spending more time on a particular story today than anything else.
And that is I mean, it looks like they're trying to destroy Bill Cosby.
Apparently a woman has come forward or came forward some time ago, claiming he raped her numerous times.
And she's been on CNN today, repeating the story.
And uh CNN has decided to adopt this story and make it the number one cause celebration of the day.
And I got experts left and right testifying on what it all means and why it happened and what could it mean to Cosby's reputation?
But I mean, it's not just okay, report it, woman says Cosby raped her.
They get the woman on there.
It's been all day long.
And uh like the headline, Cosby sees online backlash over rape alligation.
My guess is he's not watching the online allegations, but uh all these people that don't know diddly squat about it, are up there now commenting and weighing in on it, and I asked myself, what did Bill Cosby ever do to tick off some producer at CNN or some reporter or some assignment?
What what happened here?
And then I had to stop and remember.
Bill Cosby has numerous times in the recent past given public lectures in which he has said to one degree or another that black families and communities had better step up and get hold of themselves and not fall prey to the forces of destruction that rip them apart.
And basically he started demanding that people start accepting responsibility.
And the next thing you know, he's the nation's biggest rapist, as far as CNN's concerned.
I mean, this this kind of stuff just isn't this is not news.
It's nowhere else.
Well, maybe there's a headline somewhere else.
Or is it bigger than I is.
Well, I yeah, I know, but where did it it has it been on Twitter for a while and CNN just got to it?
It's been the last few weeks it's been growing.
Okay, so I don't do Twitter.
You know, I know it's a flood now.
Uh it's a flood now.
But it's all it's not like he did it yesterday.
It's it's age-old stuff, right?
Twenty twenty years ago, thirty years ago, yeah.
That's right.
It was back the stuff that's being alleged is back when he was the lovable Mr. Huxtable and had the ideal perfect TV family on the ideal perfect TV show.
Yeah, yeah.
Ain't Jell- Oh, have you seen some of the funny the the Tweeter the Twitter mock-ups that have been my two favorite things in the world, rape and jello is is a is it is a tweet.
I mean, it's vicious stuff.
But I guess what I mean, I didn't know there was this much, either residual or direct animosity for Bill Cosby.
That one just escaped me.
That just got past me.
Now, not being one who tweets uh Twitter's tweets.
I don't know what's going on there unless I read about what's happening there, and I missed this.
But don't hold that.
This does not have to do with the Sullivan group's opinion audience research or this is this is this is this low information stuff.
And I guess that's the point.
The low information crowd knows everything about this.
They may not know who lost the Civil War.
They may not know who fought in the Civil War, but they know who Brad Pitt is married to.
Okay, back to the phones.
Joe in Cleveland, your next search.
Great to have you on Open Line Friday.
Hello.
Hey, Rush, how are you, sir?
I am I'm good, but I'm tired.
I'm I'm worn out.
I'm just be upfront and honest with you about it.
I am worn out.
It's been a long week.
Yeah, same here.
Hey, I'm gonna come at you right out of left field here.
Nothing to do with anything you've been discussing.
But I wanted to get your take on something.
Okay.
All right.
Now, the City of Cleveland, Cleveland City Council, and I understand uh that this has been an issue in other cities in recent days, although never went national.
Cleveland City Council, uh, on Monday, I believe it was, was having a debate with the uh transgender community here, and I attended the meeting.
What they want is the right to use uh restrooms in public areas, bars, restaurants, sporting events, and the like.
And I just wanted to get your take on that because that you know, that's an up in the air issue here.
The Cleveland City Council didn't come to a uh a decision, so now they're saying it's gonna be going to the Supreme Court.
I would imagine the state Supreme Court.
No, now wait, there's got to be more to this because transgenders have to use a bathroom.
So what's the Well, no, no, no.
Um yeah, yeah, what it is is the rest of the they want to be able to choose the bathroom they go into.
Exactly, the bathroom for the gender they identify with.
Right, on that day.
Correct.
Yes.
Not right, exactly.
Not the gender they were born as.
Right.
What is your take on that?
I had a uh a piece about six weeks ago.
You know, we ought to drag this up from the archives.
This should put it at Rushlimbo.com so you can read it.
Uh the head of psychology, I mean, the grand poo bot, the department head at Johns Hopkins University, wrote a piece claiming that all of this acknowledgement of the notion of transgenderism is destroying people's lives because he says it's a mental illness.
And allowing people to change, and I when I read the story, I predicted you haven't heard of this guy, but you're going to.
But people haven't yet.
The LGPT community did not react to this, which is understandable.
They didn't want to elevate it.
But his point was this is I don't care.
This is not a normal thing.
Uh you you you can't change what people's gender is.
They can do an operation, they can do it, but you're not, you're you're messing them up.
You're not helping them.
He was he was adamant about this, and he was being very critical of people who practice psychiatry and psychology by acknowledging that this kind of thing is is actually uh how does he normal or um standard or real,
but his point was you can do all of the gender identity or change surgery you want, but you are only worsening a mental illness problem, not treating it.
And he was he was very adamant that there there is no such thing.
I I found that Gutzy, and it was the it was the only time, remains the only time I've ever seen a psychiatry or psychologist professional ever talk about it in that way.
The LGBT community, it's obviously LG.
They have they have been aligned with the uh lesbian and gay community now in terms of politics and and civil rights.
But I well here's it doesn't matter what I think.
The bottom line is, Joe, that governments, city councils, whatever, uh are going to cave.
They're going to they're going to a cede and grant the demands.
The issue that a lot of people here had with it is the same one of the same issues I had with it is more so the fact that if they grant this, you know, it'll be taken advantage of, and uh in other words, abused, like they'll be like people be entering the restroom simply for the fact of entering the woman's restroom and watching women use the facility.
You think people will fake men will fake being women just to get into a ladies' restroom so they can't.
Well, I mean, that was one thing, and I didn't think that until, like you said, I attended the meeting and somebody else brought that up.
And you know, that's a good point lately.
I mean, with of all the things going on in the world now, that I mean, that's a possibility.
I mean, there we were the city council was more afraid of that factor of the abuse factor, abusing that privilege.
Well, it's a civil rights issue.
Right.
And as such, it's it's uh the the people who are demanding civil rights who claim they're being violated, they're gonna get them.
So I think I think you should prepare yourself for the fact that this is gonna happen in Cleveland.
No matter what you think or no matter what I think.
I mean, that's it's and then pretty soon Clevelanders are gonna be paying.
It'll be part of a you know benefit from adenicomy operation.
Uh uh any number which happens in California, not San Francisco.
It's just it's the trend line these things are taking place.
Right.
I mean, there's the whole thing about acceptance, but I mean, at what point does you know acceptance and tolerance and welcoming everybody?
I mean, at what point do we have to draw the line at that rush?
Where would you draw it?
Well, like like that, for example, I think this issue is exactly where I would draw it.
I mean, I'm not a prejudiced person by any means, but it's like you said, you know, if you are born a man, you can get all the.
No, no, no, no, wait, wait, wait.
Don't don't say it's like I said.
I haven't said anything yet.
By design.
You're absolutely right.
Okay, yeah.
But if you were born a- You never know who's listening.
Very true.
If you were born a man, I mean this is kind of like this kind of like Stephanopoulos asking Romney, so what do you think about contraception?
What the hell are you asking me?
Contraception.
We're not talking about contraception, George Stephanie.
Well, I want to know.
Do you think it should be permissible?
Should it be banned?
George, I don't know, but he's talking about contraception.
But I want do you want yes or no?
How do you feel about it?
All Romney had to do was answer it, and the war on women was born.
So here we are discussing Gruber.
Here we are discussing amnesty, and all of a sudden, Rush, what do you think of transgender's lying so they can use opposite sex bathrooms.
I haven't said a word.
You're not gonna George Stephanopoulos me.
It isn't gonna happen.
The esteemed uh psychiatry uh psychiatric professor Johns Hopkins was named McHugh, Dr. McHugh, M C H U G H. And the original article that he wrote was in a Wall Street Journal.
Let me just share with you an excerpt.
Dr. McHugh, the author of six books, and at least a hundred and twenty-five peer-reviewed medical articles, made his remarks in a recent commentary in a Wall Street Journal where he explained that transgender surgery is not the solution for people who suffer a disorder of assumption.
The notion that their maleness or femaleness is different than what nature assigned to them biologically.
Dr. McHugh reported on a new study showing that the suicide rate among Transgendered people who had reassignment surgery is twenty times higher than the suicide rate among non transgendered people.
And he also made the point that having the reassignment surgery doesn't deal with the psychology involved at all.
And that that was his real point, that it's it's actually is his official peer-reviewed articles.
That the primary point was that it was damaging to accept the various premises in this and then do the reassignment surgery, because even after the reassignment, it hadn't changed anything.
It just confused people even more.
And it was very point.
I'm surprised.
I'm surprised it has remained.
I I I thought there would at least be one outraged reaction to it from someplace.
And maybe in uh websites or places that are not popularly visited or has been.
Just haven't seen it.
Another week of busy broadcasts in the can, ladies and gentlemen.
