We're here hanging in.

You can count on us.
And that means me.
Telephone number 800-282-2882.
An Indian airline has hit on possibly the worthiest excuse yet for hiring slim women as cabin crew.
It saves fuel and therefore money.
While some airlines admit to hiring women for their sex appeal, budget carrier GoAir has told the Times of India that it'll be hiring predominantly female flight attendants in the future because they are 15 to 20 kilos lighter on average than men.
Hiring thin women as flight attendants will save up to half a million dollars annually.
Now, how long do you think it's going to be before some politically correct term?
How long do you think it's going to be before some full-sized woman sues Air India?
Can you imagine why didn't they just do it?
Instead, they make themselves a target by announcing why they are doing it.
Airline recruits thin women to save fuel.
CNN story.
I mentioned earlier, ladies and gentlemen, one of my all-time favorite soundbites.
CNN reporter Nick Robertson in Cairo during the Arab Spring in Egypt.
This is back in February of 2011, February 11th, to be exact.
And I've got to set the stage.
The Egyptians have had it with Mubarak.
And they want Mubarak out of there.
And the people of Egypt have taken this upon themselves to do it.
And the people of Egypt are in Tahriri Square in great numbers.
And they're protesting and they're demanding change.
And they're demanding that Mubarak be sent packing.
And they want elections.
Now, in the midst of all this, and remember, the people of India got there, of Egypt got this started.
In the midst of all this, Obama speaks up in favor of it.
And in response to questions from journalists, Obama, yeah, well, we would really hope that what would take place is that there would be new job opportunities for young people and people get manifest control over their destiny and so forth and so on.
But Obama was a bystander, at least on the surface.
Now, it has been alleged in some circles that the Arab Spring was actually a U.S. Intel operation.
It might have even predated Obama, but it was an Intel operation that was designed to sweep aside terrorist regimes and spread democracy.
And in fact, the learned foreign policy experts in the conservative media were singing the praises of this when it happened, if you recall.
I don't even mention any names, but there are a bunch of, they're called the neocons.
And the neocon, oh, they were eating this up.
They were loving this.
And people like me and others were very concerned about what was happening.
We're warning you that this is not what it seems, that this was a play being made by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is an extremist group.
They are a terrorist group that has managed to manufacture a public image of peace and moderation and all that garbage.
But in fact, they're every bit the terrorist group as anybody else is over there.
They're just a front.
They're warning everybody.
So, in the midst of all this, CNN dispatches a reporter named Nick Robertson.
And the purpose is to go over to Cairo, into Tahriri Square, and interview people there and ask them questions so as to be able to do a report that made it look like the whole thing was inspired by Obama.
CNN's purpose, i.e., Obama's purpose, was for the audience of CNN to think that the people of Egypt were inspired by Obama.
They were inspired by Obama's campaign.
They were inspired by his victory.
And they were inspired by his presidency.
And they were inspired by him.
And they too now wanted hope and change, just as Americans had it.
So CNN dutifully sends their reporter over, Nick Robertson, and it blew up in his face.
The whole thing, it's so funny, I love it.
It blew up in his face, and yet old Nick is the trooper for Obama that he is.
The trooper for CNN that he is.
In the face of it blowing up, Nick tells the CNN audience that what they just heard, they didn't really hear.
Here we go with the first soundbite: Nick Robertson speaking with a man named Ahmed, talking about the Egyptian anti-government protests and Obama.
Ahmed, you've been here down on the square for many days.
The United States and international community have just listened to President Obama say that America will support Egypt if it wants help and assistance and hopes that there'll be a good transition for jobs for the young people.
What would your message be for President Obama?
We do not actually who he supports.
He searched for his own purpose and the Egyptian people seeks for our freedom and democracy.
Any democracy country should seek for the people, not for his own person.
Okay, I just love it.
So here's old Nick.
He's down there amongst the protesters at Tahriri Square.
They are in their own minds, they are protesting for their freedom.
They hate Lubarik.
They want him gone.
The job of CNN is to make it look like all of this has been inspired by Obama.
So he goes down there.
He says, Ahmed, what would be your message for President Obama and his stated desire for jobs for the young people?
What would your message be for President Obama?
Ahmed, would you like to thank President Obama?
That's what his really question was.
Ahmed, would you like to thank President Obama for your freedom?
Would you like to thank President Obama for?
And Ahmed said, well, you know, we don't actually know who he supports.
Obama serves his own purposes.
The Egyptian people search for our freedom and democracy.
We don't know what he wants.
So that blew up in Nick's face.
So then he went out, Nick did, and found Mustafa.
Mustafa is joining me now.
We just heard President Obama say that he wants to extend support of assistance to Egypt and Egyptians if he wants any hopes that there are more jobs for the young people in the future.
What's your message for President Obama?
Well, my message for President Obama is just we started this revolution without any outside help and we are going to finish it also without any outside help.
So after Ahmed blew up in Nick's face, he walks down the street and finds Mustafa.
Mustafa, you're protesting for your freedom.
What would you like to say to President Obama to thank him for your freedom?
What would you like to say to President Obama to thank him for the idea here that you have in protesting?
And Mustafa bombs out.
Well, my message for President Obama is that we started this without him.
We didn't have any outside help.
And we're going to finish it without him.
We don't need Obama.
But Nick was undeterred.
He stuck with Mustafa.
Because I think Nick realized that no matter who he talked to, he wasn't going to find anybody that was going to end up praising Obama for this.
So he stuck with Mustafa, giving it one more chance.
Are you pleased that President Obama has come out, however, now and said he supports this change and supports the people and supports the young people and what they've done?
Well, actually, President One's views were kind of conflicting during the last weeks.
But now he's saying that he's supporting the change.
Well, actually, we don't know what the hell Obama's thinking.
He's saying everything differently every day, Nick.
But here are these people.
Now, as far as everybody knows, here are these people, and they are in the tens of thousands at Tahriri Square, and they're protesting their own government, and they're demanding their own freedom.
And here's a report, CNN, just determined to make it about Barack Obama.
Just determined.
As though these people wouldn't even be risking anything were it not for Obama.
So, Nick, you've heard him now with Ahmed, and you've heard him with Mustafa, and you've heard both of them basically tell him he's full of it.
And now it's time for Nick, in state-run media fashion, to sum up what the viewers of CNN just saw.
The view from here is one of very happy to now to hear that President Obama has swung behind the people.
No, Nick!
The view there is that Obama was irrelevant to all of it.
So even after Ahmed and Mustafa blew up on Nick Robertson, Nick still had to point out that the view from Tahriri Square is one of very happy to now hear that Obama has swung behind the people.
And of course, that was a big concession because that report was supposed to be about how the people had swung behind Obama.
And those remain some of my all-time favorite soundbites, folks, because those sound bites are in their own way like the Ron Brown memorial video in Bill Clinton, where Clinton's walking along, laughing it up with Tony Campolo, a preacher from Pennsylvania, and they're walking into the Ron Brown Memorial, former Clinton administration figure killed in Bosnia somewhere, plane crash.
And they're laughing it up, and Campolo's telling Obama or Clinton a joke, and Clinton's laughing it, and sees the camera, and in a half a step, starts faking crying and wiping it in half a step.
Campolo doesn't see the camera.
He keeps laughing and yucking it up while Clinton fakes crying in half a step.
Well, it's Nick Robertson and my own version.
Nick Robertson's version of the Clinton Ron Brown memorial.
I want to play you some soundbites.
Something had just happened in the last half hour on the Fox News channel with Megan Kelly, America Live, Megan Kelly.
She was talking to the syndicated columnist Michelle Maulkin.
And we're talking about Alec Baldwin and recent tweets to reporter using homophobic slurs.
And, you know, Baldwin either beats up reporters or threatened to beat them up or whatever.
And every time it happens, I remind everybody that he never loses.
He never loses a corporate sponsor, never loses an endorsement.
This guy can go out, beat up reporters, mutter profanity, shout profanities, insult gays all he wants, and he gets nothing but promoted.
So they were talking about that today on Fox.
He gets a pass for any number of reasons, I think.
And one is, you know, being part of the Hollywood establishment.
Hillary Rosen, who herself engaged in some rather distasteful hate speech against Ann Romney during this campaign, apparently has been a childhood friend of Alec Baldwin's and was another one of these left-wingers who rushed to his side and said, well, he's given a lot of money to charity, and he's actually a really good guy.
So never mind all of his rude, public, boorish behavior.
Give the guy a pass.
Megan Kelly came back, and I think this may be the first time this has ever been heard on any network, including Fox.
You know who else has given a lot of money to charity is Rush Limbaugh.
Millions and millions of dollars.
But, you know, his charitable past didn't seem to, you know, soften anybody's assessment of him.
It's a great point.
And here is the main difference between Rush Limbaugh's political speech versus Alec Baldwin's.
Rush Limbaugh is always trying to make a political point, an ideological point.
He is arguing on public policy grounds, and sometimes he does it in very entertaining ways or he pushes the edge.
But it is never the kind of just completely untethered hate speech and physical threats that Alec Baldwin has been responsible over the years.
I want to thank those two women, Michelle Malkin and Megan Kelly.
You don't hear that.
You never hear that anywhere in the media.
And of course, I never talk about it.
It wouldn't be appropriate.
So I thank them.
I take a brief time out.
We'll come back and continue because we still have lots straight ahead.
Like a windmill has killed a rare bird that everybody thought was extinct.
They found it.
Really?
The environmentalist wackos, they were rejoicing.
A bird that they thought was extinct resurfaced.
One bird, last seen in Britain 22 years ago.
It was discovered by 40 enthusiasts.
And they were left with horror while watching it.
It flew into a wind turbine and was killed.
Back to the phones.
Lower going next.
Stephen in Westchester County, New York.
It's great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Thanks, Maha Rashi, and bless you, and thank you for all you do, too.
You are welcome, sir.
Thank you very much.
Appreciate that.
I have a question with this whole immigration thing and these, to me, these fraudulent numbers that the government has come out with in regards to legalizing these people and then actually having the government have more money in its coffers.
It seems to me that if we have about 7 million illegals in this country, let's say about 25% of the percent of them had children and therefore a household, when they become legalized, they are instantly available to take avail of the federal earned income tax credit.
And I don't see that.
Which is something that might not Impact recently married gay couples.
Which means that the illegals are going to have even an advantage over the gay couples who ostensibly wanted to get married for federal benefits.
There you go.
There you go, sir.
I mean, there's just no justice.
Yes, I know.
But you're right.
Earned income tax credit to illegals that have children, plus they're auto-citizens.
I'd love to know more of the details of the financials of this thing because it's driving me nuts.
And I don't know.
Maybe we'll get some more of that as time passes, but we're on a short string here.
Well, I've got to tell you something.
I'm tracking this and following this, and the Republicans are celebrating this vote in the Senate, gang of eight.
I don't mean this to sound threatening or intimidating in any way.
I honestly think that the Republican establishment doesn't know what awaits it regarding this issue.
I don't think, maybe they do, and they just don't care.
That's just as likely, actually.
Because they were the same people in 2007 when your phone calls shut this down then.
I think they know, actually.
But let me put it this way: I don't think, I mean, they know that there's opposition, and they know it's their base.
I don't believe they realize how deep it goes.
I don't think they have the slightest idea how deep the anger at the current thinking, as expressed by supposedly smart Republican establishment people, exists, the anger.
I don't think they have any idea how deep it is.
In towns large and small, all across this country, people are livid.
Every time an establishment leader opens his mouth about, we've got to do this to make amends with the Hispanic community.
We've got to do this so they will love us.
Now certain establishment members are running around talking about how they are loved now, that the Hispanics, they get us now.
It's a fantasy like I've not seen in a long time, and I just don't think they know.
This issue, even if it were the only thing happening, the anger would be deep and solid.
But this comes after Obamacare.
It comes after the wrecking of the U.S. economy.
It comes after wrecking the job market.
It comes after the exploding debt and interest rates in the student loan program.
It comes after all of this other Obama stuff was not stopped or even pushed back against.
And I think the degree to which people like you are fit to be tied out there over this is something that has escaped them, or they're either aware of it and ignoring it, but they certainly are not factoring it.
And they're going to regret that If they continue to push this thing through the house, or if they start playing games in the conference committee, you get people more and more talking about third party now.
That happens, you can kiss the Republican Party goodbye.
Jim in Radcliffe, Kentucky.
Thank you, sir, for calling.
Great to have you here.
Hello.
Hey, thanks a lot, Rush.
How are you doing today?
I'm actually, all things considered, pretty lousy.
I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm just kidding.
I'm just actually pretty good today.
Yeah.
Hey, I was wondering, you know, with the Obamacare, the Democrats are wanting you to go down and sign up for this.
How are people going to get down there and sign up if they can't get down to do the IDs to vote?
Well, I mean, the answer to that is the Democrats don't want you to have one.
The answer to that, the Democratic Party does not want anybody to have a photo ID because that would have a very negative impact on cheating.
If you require a photo ID, that pretty much shuts out cheating.
Well, it doesn't shut it out.
It just makes it harder.
And that's why they don't want it.
I mean, they're going to force Obamacare.
My question about all this, I mean, the photo ID answer is easy.
They want to be able to have people vote multiple times, particularly in certain precincts, neighborhoods.
But this Obamacare, somebody, I may be in one of my dense places today, but here we have something that's a law of the land.
It's been signed into law.
It is being implemented as we speak.
It fully implements sometime next year.
So why do little kids in the public school system in Los Angeles have to be told about it so they can go home and sell their parents on it?
Why does it still have to be sold?
Why is Obama running ads to familiarize people with Obamacare?
Well, now the answer has nothing to do with Obamacare.
Well, other than the kids, I think the overall answer to the question is it's more of Obama image building.
They know the polling data on Obamacare is very negative.
We're up to now, depending on the poll you look at, only 35% of people like it.
So that's 65% oppose it.
And Obama wants to be loved, like Clinton.
He wants to be loved.
He wants to be appreciated.
He's got this thing out there about him and his name on it, people hate.
And so it could well be nothing more than we're going to spread propaganda on this to try to create a correct public opinion on it.
My real question, why do they care?
It's the law of the land.
There's nothing we can do about it.
I mean, we can try to defund it or repeal parts of it.
But as far as they're concerned, it's been signed into law.
It's being implemented.
The exchanges are being set up, and the exchanges are Democrat Party front groups.
So maybe I'm just too thick to see something, but why?
What's the point now in propagandizing it?
Okay.
So it's Mount Rushmore, huh?
It's beyond Mount Rushmore.
It's Washington, Lincoln, Obama.
You think Washington, Obama, maybe it's Obama, Washington, and nobody else.
Are you serious?
You really think it's all about establishing Obama as the greatest president ever?
That's why the kids.
That's okay.
Okay.
That's why the kids carry the legacy through the younger generations on.
I think there's a political reason to it.
I think, you know, 2014 is crucial to them winning the House.
And they lost the 2010 midterms because of Obamacare.
And I think that's what it really is.
I think it's all part of this full court press to win the House in 2014.
And they know that Obamacare is hated.
And they know that in 2010, it essentially created the Tea Party.
And they know that the Tea Party turned.
The media doesn't write about this.
And they really didn't talk about it much when it happened.
But the Democrat Party folks took a down ballot shellacking in 2010.
They lost all total across this country close to 1,000 seats in the House of Representatives, in local state houses, in town councils, mayors, dog catchers, as far down the local level as you want to go.
They got shellacked.
And I think that they're afraid that the same thing could happen in 2014 with the same attitudes about Obamacare.
Remember, the 2010 turnout is much different than a presidential turnout.
The 2010 turnout didn't have Obama on, so the Obama acolytes had no reason to show up.
The 2012, there was all the reason in the world for the Obama acolytes to show up.
In 2014, there won't be any reason for Obama sycophants to show up.
So I think in addition to the Mount Rushmore aspects and creating in the minds of young people, Obama's the greatest ever.
I think in practical political terms, it isn't even about Obamacare.
It's not Mount Making people, it's about ridding the negativity attached to it so it doesn't hurt them in 2014.
I think that's why they're still fundraising for it.
They're still treating it as a campaign issue because it is.
There's another election coming up.
And one, believe me, they're salivating.
If they win the House in 2014, then there's no such thing as an Obama lame duck.
The last two years aren't going to be lame duck.
In fact, the last two years of Obama might overshadow the presidential race because of what Obama will be able to do.
Utterly, totally transform this country in ways that will be so shocking that it might overshadow a presidential race.
Now, the presidential race obviously would be attached to that massive transformation, so it'd be tough to overshadow it.
But at least if they win the House in 2014, there isn't going to be any lame duck BS.
You're not going to be lame or duck on anything.
If he wins the house in 2014, he's going to have more power than he's had at any time, including the first two years when he had the House and Senate, because he did have another election or two to be concerned about.
But he wins the House in 2014.
He's got two years to realize every fantasy and dream about finally fixing what is fundamentally wrong and immorally wrong about this country in his mind since the day it was founded.
You know, there's a story I don't really care about.
It's a Snowden story.
And everybody keeps talking Snowden to me.
Look, the guy applied for asylum in Russia.
Let him have it.
Let Putin keep him as far as I'm concerned.
That ain't going to happen.
Putin doesn't want the guy, I don't think.
Snowden here, Snowden there, Snowden.
Isn't a 29-year-old punk?
Big deal.
Folks, here's the, oh, no, what did I do?
What did I do?
Oh, no.
What did I do?
Oh, no.
What did I tell?
Oh, ah, here it is.
I thought I threw away the bird story.
That's what happens.
You get distracted with this meaningless Snowden stuff.
This is a story in the UK Daily Mail.
There had been only eight recorded sightings of the white-throated needletail, the bird, in the UK since 1846.
Only eight recorded sightings.
So when one popped up again, the bird watchers got uncontrollably excited.
A group of 40 enthusiasts dashed off to where the bird was to catch a glimpse of it.
It's brown, black, and blue.
It breeds in Asia.
It winters in Australasia, but they thought it was extinct.
But one of them popped up, only eight recorded sightings.
So this group of 40 people heads out to catch a glimpse.
And instead of being treated to a wildlife spectacular, they were left with a horror show when the white-throated needletail flew into a wind turbine and was killed.
It had last been seen 22 years ago.
Just like when the orca came out and ate, swallowed the otter at Prince William Sound.
A bunch of environmentalist wackos watch a precious windmill kill a rare bird.
I'm not laughing.
I don't want anybody to get, I'm not laughing.
There's a petition.
You know, when James Gandofini died, just like when Vince Flynn died, I've been going back and reading Vince Flynn books.
And over the weekend, I watched a few episodes, Sopranos.
And one of the episodes, I just picked some at random.
And one of them was just hilarious.
The Soprano crew upset a bunch of Indians protesting Columbus Day.
A bunch of Native Americans.
And so the Soprano crew was out trying to run a smear campaign on Iron Eyes Cody.
He wasn't really an Indian.
He was a fraud.
And they were petitioning the government because the Indians were protesting Columbus, a rapist, and all this stuff.
So I just, I go back some of these Sopranos episodes.
I literally, second, third time around, I laughed myself silly.
Anyway, a petition asking the Obama regime to change the name of Columbus Day to Explorers Day has collected more than 1,400 signatures in 24 hours.
And in the old days, we had to spend almost all of our energy and time just growing and finding enough food to stay alive.
Now, people have enough time to run out there and get upset about Columbus Day.
So I just happened to watch a Sopranos episode, and the next thing I read is that Obama is being joined by a bunch of people to get rid of Columbus.
I guess he was a rapist.
He brought all these diseases and stuff.
The multiculturalists are continuing.
That's it, my friends.
Your student loan interest rate is still going to double.
Not much we can do about it.
Still going to happen as of today.
But thank you so much for being with us.
It's been fun.
It always is.
And we will be back tomorrow, 21 hours from now, revved up and ready to do it all over again.
