Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24 7 Podcast.
Yes, America's Anchorman is away, and this is your undocumented anchor man sitting in, Mark Stein.
My Amnesty is being personally reviewed by Lois Lerner, so it's uh still in the mail, apparently.
Uh Rush is taking a well earned break for a few days.
Doug Urbanski, Mr. Hollywood, uh will be here tomorrow and Friday, uh direct from uh his pool with the Starlets in Beverly Hills.
Uh but today we're live from Ice Station EIB in far northern New Hampshire.
Just uh just a stone's throw from the Canadian border.
I don't know why they're throwing stones.
I think they're Muslim youths from Sweden on a field trip or something.
Anyway, if you're fleeing the country, do swing by.
You can't miss us.
We've got a big sign on the interstate uh saying last rush guest host before the border.
Parking parking's a bit difficult at the moment because of the uh IRS SWAT team taking all the spaces, but uh but we're always happy to see you, so do drop by.
1800 282 eight eight two.
All you gotta do is dial, it goes uh straight through to the Department of Justice where your call may be monitored for quality control purposes.
And our new call screener, Eric Holder will then determine how much of a security threat you are.
The Washington Post reports today.
Attorney General signed off on Fox phone records subpoena.
Uh Attorney General Eric Holder personally approved a decision to subpoena Fox News telephone records as the Justice Department investigated an unauthorized leak rec regarding North Korea officials said on Tuesday, an unauthorized leak, as opposed to this story that's been planted in the Washington Post, which was an authorized leak that officials leaked to the Washington Post on behalf of Eric Holder.
Eric Holder is stunned.
Is stunned and deeply troubled, too, stunned and deeply troubled to discover that he personally approved a decision uh to subpoena Fox News telephone records.
Uh Eric Holder had no idea he'd signed the subpoena for the Fox phone records until he read it in the Washington Post over breakfast after reading the style section piece on what fabulous shoes White House counsel Cathy Rumler wears.
The Attorney General had no idea how personally troubled he was by the Attorney General wiretapping journalists until he read some off the record authorized leaks by his close personal aides to the Huffington Post, saying that sources close to the Attorney General spoke off the record about how personally troubled the Attorney General was when he discovered what the Attorney General had been up to.
Eric Holder had no idea he was bugging James Rosen of Fox News until he was listening in on a telephone conversation from James's wizened little old spinster Aunt Mabel to her friend Alice about how she wouldn't be able to make Parcheesy night because her nice young nephew James was coming over to talk about how he's getting stressed out by all this Justice Department surveillance.
He had no idea that he was bugging James Rosen, that he personally signed off on it.
This is this is full blown banana republic territory, folks.
This is what we're living.
This is what we're living in today.
Except that even in b generally speaking, the advantage of Banana Republics is that the President for Life is quite upfront about what he's doing.
The President for Life said, No, Senor, I didn't know anything de la read it in the paper.
They don't do that.
They say that's fine, you're right.
We're right.
We climbed the electrode steer in the basement.
I knew all along.
They're up front about it.
They're up front about it.
These guys aren't.
Nancy Pelosi.
Nancy Pelosi says, it is absurd to expect busy, important people, like the President and his cabinet secretaries, to know about what's going on in obscure peripheral entities like the government of the United States.
It would be totally unreasonable.
The President doesn't know about everything that is going on in every agency of government.
House Minority Leader Pelosi said.
Should Mr. Boehner have known that this is his neighboring district, and in Cincinnati where the IRS office is, I don't think you can hold him accountable for what happened in that IRS office.
This is this is Nancy Pelosi's ingenious talking point that that uh because John Boehner is in the next district uh to the Cincinnati office uh at the heart of uh all this uh illegal targeting uh political targeting, he should have known what's going on.
In the same way that uh, you know, uh the Prime Minister of Canada should know what's going on in the IRS because he lives next door to America where this IRS place is.
But it would be unreasonable to expect Obama and Eric Holder and any of these guys to know what's what's uh what's what's going on uh there.
Well, of course, the the the flaw in Mrs. Pelosi's theory is that uh is is that uh t technically speaking, as I understand it, and uh I'm a foreigner, so do feel free to point out where I'm going wrong on this, but as I understand it, John Boehner is a member of the something called the legislative branch, and the IRS comes under something called the executive branch, which uh is something to do with the president of the United States.
As I understand it.
I mean, I may be making a mistake here, and if Mrs. Pelosi is listening, please do feel free to call in and correct me.
So it isn't actually anything to do with John Boehner.
It is to do with the President of the United States These guys report these guys report uh to him.
But the President of the United States says, Oh, hey, hey, I'm the president.
I was as shocked as you to discover that there's this thing out there called the executive branch, this dark, shadowy, mysterious thing called the executive branch somewhere in the basement that's been pulling all this stuff.
I had no idea.
I'm as surprised as you are.
Eric Holder is as surprised as you are.
I have personally Eric Holder is shocked to discover what Eric Holder has been up to.
I have I have personally decided this is a measure of how seriously the president is taking this stuff.
He has appointed Eric Holder uh to investigate all the things that Eric Holder has been up to.
Uh and uh uh including most recently uh his apparent perjury b before Congress, where he not only denied knowing anything about any of this uh uh keeping tab surveillance on journalists, but said that if he had known about it, he would have been deeply troubled by it.
He would have been deeply troubled by it.
Instead, he he had no idea that he'd personally signed off on all this surveillance, and then uh when he read that in fact he had in the newspaper he he deep he was deeply troubled about it.
Nobody knows nothing.
This thing, there's this thing.
It's beyond, it's it's the thing you get to when you go really deep down inside the rabbit hole for all the conspiracy theories.
We've heard them all.
You know, the Grassy Knoll, 9-11 was an inside job.
This is the biggest one of the lot.
Forget your CIA.
Everyone goes on about the CIA.
They're nothing.
They just have the CIA out there for you guys, for you saps, for you Rubes to think that they're the ones pulling all this stuff.
But in reality, there's this m far murkier, shadowy, darker entity called the executive branch.
That's what you get to when you poke beyond the CIA.
The CIA is probably some sort of front operal flag operation being run by this shadowy organization called the Executive Branch that's out there somewhere.
It's out there in a basement in Washington, it's pulling all this stuff.
Nobody knows anything.
It's accountable to nobody.
They do things in your name.
They somebody uh, you know, some guy signed Eric Holder's name to all this surveillance thing, and it's out there, this shadowy thing called the executive branch.
It's accountable to nobody.
The President of the United States, he's just doing his job as president.
Meanwhile, there's this dark, shadowy entity out there, the executive branch.
Nobody, they're uh they're out of control.
Nobody knows nothing about them.
So here's this Eric Holder's latest position.
He he has said that this leak there there's there's reason he was um, you know, keeping tabs on all the uh on all the uh journalists at the Associated Press said this is a very serious leak.
This is what he said to Congress on May the 14th.
I've been a prosecutor since 1976, said Eric Holder.
That's uh what, 37 years?
And I have to say that this is among, if not the most serious, in the top two or three most serious leaks that I've ever seen.
It put the American people at risk, and that is not hyperbole, unquote.
That's Eric Holder, testifying to Congress on May the 14th.
But but it's the most it's one of the two or three most serious leaks that anybody has ever leaked in the last thirty-seven years.
Maybe the third most troubling leak in the last thirty-seven years.
And he doesn't mention it to the President of the United States.
Doesn't mention it to him at all.
It would be absurd to expect the third most serious leak of the last four decades to be brought to the attention of the President of the United States.
This is the world we live this is the world we live in now.
Somebody is running this government.
Nobody knows who it is.
Uh Obama, in it's it's everything now.
It's the all-purpose explanation.
Obama is president of the United States.
This is apparently a ceremonial position.
It's like being uh like being the Queen.
You you get along, you cut ribbons, you attend a few formal s uh celebrations in uh in Obama's case, you uh get to attend fundraisers with Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
But meanwhile, there's this whole other dark entity called the government that's out there doing stuff.
Obama.
Uh I am troubled by the possibility that leak investigations may chill the investigative journalism that holds government about it accountable.
He's deeply troubled by the idea that all these leak investigations may chill the investigative journalism that holds government accountable for when they pull stuff like leaking uh uh for when they pull stuff like uh bugging journalists.
Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs.
It's your government.
It's your government.
I thought that was how it worked.
It's your government.
Why don't you do something about it?
Oh no, he's deeply troubled by it.
He's deeply troubled by it.
Here he is again, he's talking now about Guantanamo.
Look at the current situation.
This was his landmark uh speech last week, uh ending the war on terror, saying the war on terror is over uh and uh we don't need to worry about it anymore.
Look at the current situation where we are force feeding detainees who are being held on a hunger strike at Guantanamo, he said.
Is this who we are?
Well, wait a minute.
It's who you are, you're the president.
They're being force fed at Gitmo in your name.
Who what is he?
Leader of her majesty's loyal opposition all of a sudden.
It's your government.
You're in charge.
If you don't like uh the hunger strike and the force feeding of the detainees, they're doing it at your camp.
Why don't you fly out to Gitmo, land there, m talk with the uh detainees uh and talk with the guys who are force feeding them, and try and figure out some other thing.
It's your government.
It's being done in your name.
It's you.
You own it.
It's that's the job.
Uh I don't know whether there was some confusion in the when they explained the responsibilities that it's not all just uh uh partying with uh Beyoncé and Jay-Z and all that, but there's also this kind of boring stuff you have to do where this stuff comes in about, you know, no name people and the other side of the country and Cincinnati and Gitma and all the rest of it.
But it's you, it's your job.
It's your job.
You're supposed to know.
You can't just say you read it in the paper.
Full blown banana republic stuff now.
Full blown banana republic stuff.
By the way, we will also talk about today.
Uh 1-800-282-2882.
Uh as I said, that's the number that gets you straight through to Eric Holder.
We will also talk about the uh spectacularly good and amazingly good treatment uh that Obama's own uh 501c4 group received from uh the IRS.
They got the express check-in and they got it backdated.
We'll talk about that and a whole lot more.
Mark Stein, Inforush on the EIB network.
Lots more still to come.
Mark Stein, Inforush on the EIB Network.
1-800-282-2882 as we track America's descent into Banana Republic status.
Greg Pollowitz, uh uh Greg uh writes great stuff uh over at uh National Review.
Uh Greg Greg tweeted today, I just got an email from the press asking me to support the 501c4 uh OFA, which is now uh which is organized it used to be organizing for what was it, Obama for America, but it's now organizing for America or uh or uh organizing for action or something.
Anyway, it's got the same uh initials, but it now stands for something.
But it's Barack Obama.com, basically, Barack Obama.com.
This is an uh independent 501c4 involved in social education or whatever the flim flam is.
Uh but it's entirely independent, organizing for action, that's what it's called, organizing for action.
It's entirely independent uh from the president of the United States.
So i it's quite it's fine for the chief executive of the United States whose uh whose minions uh authorize uh this uh this tax exempt status for this organization to then go send i bombard emails and everyone on his email list uh talking it up.
There's another 501c4, by the way, another non profit tied to the president, and this is the Barack H. Obama Foundation, which is named not for the president, uh, but is actually named for his dad.
And again, I just I'm just interested in this.
Why would his dad even want to be mixed up with a tax exempt organization?
Uh, because Barack H. Obama Senior's most famous contribution is a piece he wrote for the Nairobi Herald, arguing for a 100% tax rate.
If you think things are bad now, folks, imagine what would be like if Barack's Pop was running things.
He he is big piece in the uh Nairobi Herald arguing for a 100% tax rate.
And uh so but apparently uh the fellows who've uh started the foundation that preserves his name sought tax exempt status uh to raise money for good works in Kenya.
Now, this organization is run by Obama's brother, Malik Obama.
And I know people think, well, you know, he's got tons of brothers, he can't be accountable for them all.
But these two are are really close.
Malik was best man at Barack's wedding, and Barack uh was best man at at least one of Malik Obama's weddings.
Malik apparently has twelve wives, uh uh I b I believe at the uh at the last uh counting, twenty thirteen, this year, early this year, he had twelve wives.
He he f he applies for this thing uh called the Barack H. Obama Foundation.
Now, by by the way, he mails this in from Nairobi, and he hears back in Nothing Flat.
And all you guys, you losers out there, you Tea Party groups in Arizona and in Texas and in California and in Michigan and in Idaho, obviously, you know, yours have been held up for three years or whatever, uh, because you made the mistake of uh mailing it from Cleveland or or Des Moines.
This guy you mails it in, express mail from Nairobi, and it arrives, you know, on uh the desk of Lois Lerner herself, and she immediately uh she personally, by the way, this is again why this business about her knowing nothing, she actually signs this one personally.
She signs off on the tax exempt status of the Barack H. Obama Foundation immediately.
It's immediately improved.
There's no requests for Facebook posts or tweets, or are any of your relatives uh thinking of running for office or tell us what books you were reading.
Lois Lerner uh signs it personally, mails it back to Malik Obama in Kenya, and uh not only that, not only that, this was May 2011.
He gets around to sending it in, uh Obama's brother does.
That's two and a half years after he set it up.
He said, and she backdates it two and a half years uh to make all the donations they've taken in in the last two and a half years uh tax exempt.
Now, you remember Lois Lerner when she testified in Congress, uh, said that she regretted what she called the less than satisfactory customers quote customer service that some customers of the IRS had received.
So if you're a customer of the IRS, and and I'm not personally, because I went to the IRS a couple of years I went to the IRS last April 15th, and I got really rotten customer service.
So I thought, well, this year I'm gonna go to another revenue collector.
I'm gonna go to the revenue collection agency across the street, because the IRS don't appreciate me as a customer, so I'm gonna go elsewhere.
Uh she apologized for the rotten customer service, some of you losers in Des Moines and Cleveland and Houston and uh uh uh and Phoenix and uh San Diego had all received from the IRS.
But this guy, Malik Obama, mailing it in from Nairobi, got terrific customer service, backdated two and a half years.
That's probably if this if this were still a republic of laws, uh that would be an illegal act, by the way.
Uh but uh but fortunately we're not a Republic of laws anymore, so uh so Lois Lerner doesn't have to worry about that.
Hey, and and and the best news yet is that uh Malik Obama's uh non-profit, uh, which appears to be something to do with uh uh doing good works in Kenya, but it's not entirely clear.
There's no evidence to suggest that he's building any houses in Kenya for widows and orphans as claimed.
Um but uh but one of his big associates uh is the uh Sudanese president, Omar Al-Bashir, who is wanted for war crimes and genocide.
So if you're so if you're associated, if you're mixed up with murky tea party types, if you're mixed up with people who are like reading the United States Constitution and other shadowy literature like that, you are gonna get a hell of a time from Lois Lerner.
But if you're mixed up with a genocidal madman butchering tons of people in Darfur, like uh Omar Bashir, you'll get your you'll get your uh tax exempt approval, approved in nothing flat and backdated two and a half years by Lois Lerner personally.
That's the great efficient customer service she can provide uh when she is really on her game.
Mark Stein, Inforush on the EIB network.
Rush is taking uh a well deserved break for a few days.
We have lots more still to come.
1800 28282.
Yes, uh Russia's taking a few days off.
Don't forget if you go to Rush Limbaugh.com and you are a rush 247 subscriber, you need not be discombobulated by sinister foreign guest hosts, because you can get all your rush stuff, uh audio, uh print transcripts, uh video from the TV show.
You can get it all at uh the time of your choosing.
Rush 247 uh on rush limbore.com dot com.
Uh from the New York Times, some Germans bulk at plan to use drones to fight graffiti.
This is the next stage, folks.
Uh the Germans uh the German government, uh now they're using uh drones, drones, uh to hover over a Berlin and see if people are doing graffiti on uh on walls.
Or if you've been in Europe recently, if you've been to Rome, uh you'll know the whole pla the whole continent is basically uh covered in graffiti.
People often talk about when will Europe see the writing on the wall.
They see the writing on the wall every day.
It's all over every site in Rome.
Uh if you go there on vacation, you can say, oh, look, here's me by the Coliseum.
You can that's uh you can just make me out in amongst the graffiti on the Coliseum Wall.
That's me by the Trevi Fountain.
You can just see me in between the graffiti on the Trevi Fountain.
And Berlin is bad.
Lisbon, everything in Lisbon is covered from head to toe.
Beautiful old city, everything covered head to toe.
They're gonna use drones, drones, uh, to catch people doing graffiti in Germany now.
So this could this would be the this would be the next stage, I think.
You know, clearly when we've had all the special investigators, special counsel, the whole thing, the uh congressional committees and heads of roll, uh, then they will clean house at the IRS and they will discover that the IRS needs more resources to prevent this happening again.
So the IRS will have unmanned drones that will be they'll be able to send over to your accountants to hover over the filing cabinet.
That will be the next stage.
They're now using drones in Germany to fight graffiti.
Uh Mark Stein, in for rush.
Let us go to Duane in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Dwayne, you're live on the Rush Limbaugh show.
Hello, Mark.
Hey, I called to give you a perfectly good explanation for all the I don't knowing that's going on with the Obama administration.
Are you a fan of the MASH program back in the day?
Oh, yeah, I remember I remember MASH from uh the seven, I like the early MASH uh ones.
No, not the ones where they all changed.
This is how it happened.
Radar would go into Colonel Blake's office, he'd have all his uh invoices and requisitions and everything all in order, and then he'd just stick a couple uh two-day passes and some requisitions for some liquor and stuff in that pile, and he'd say, Okay, Eric Horner start, I need all your paper signs.
And he just started signing them.
And he didn't know what they were.
So there you go.
So you are positing Eric Holder as the Colonel Blake of uh of the Carl Blake.
So as long once we find the radar O'Reilly figure in the Justice Department, who uh sli well, it could be Valerie.
Not look uh HR says it's Valerie Jarrett.
Valerie poor old Valerie Jarrett is getting she's doing a hell of a job if she's responsible for everything uh that that that administration is pulling.
Because that's I love the way now he's uh you know, who was behind the well, it's Valerie Jarrett.
Who was behind the stuff of the Justice Department?
Valerie Jarrett.
Who's behind the shakedown at Health and Human Services when they're telling all the health companies you've got to pony up to pay for the uh uh uh overrunning exploding costs of Obama?
That's gotta be Valerie Jarrett.
Who's uh who was uh who was behind Ben Ghazi?
Well you've got to bet the Valerie Jarrett.
That woman that woman is doing the jobs of seventy men.
It's incredible, it's incredible.
I mean, this would be one lean efficient government if we just fired everybody and just let Valerie Jarrett do the whole thing single handed.
That would that would be amazing.
Uh thank you for your thank you for your call, Duane.
Uh the uh breaking news breaking news.
I'll see if I can stay awake to read this.
Uh Lincoln Chaffee, the governor of Rhode Island, you remember he's the one he's one of these uh he was one of these moderate Republicans, and the people used to say he's he's the son of John Chafee, who was the the Senator for Rhode Island for like sixty years or whatever, and then he inherited his seat because uh the United States Senate is the uh is like the House of Lords these days.
And then uh Lincoln Chafey uh who was a moderate Republican, people used to say, Oh, why can't we have more Republicans like Lincoln Chafee?
Party of Lincoln, that's what the Republicans should be.
Party of Lincoln Chaffee's got broad appeal.
Then he became an independent.
Uh and now, in the final stage of his transition, Rhode Island governor, breaking news from Politico, Rhode Island Governor, breaking news.
Politico put this out as a breaking news alert.
So I want to give you time to put down whatever you're you're doing.
If you're like uh if you if you if you're using the noisy quizin art to blend a smoothie or whatever, I want to give you time to turn it off so that you hear this clear.
Breaking news from politico.
Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafey has notified officials that he plans to switch his party registration and join the Democratic Party.
And and and uh and we are all stunned by that.
The uh the Ricky Martin of the Republican Party has finally come out and announced that he's joining the Democratic Party.
That's uh that's exciting uh that's exciting breaking news.
And we're gonna keep you we're gonna keep you up to date on that uh and any and any further developments that uh that we get uh th that we get during the day.
The way the way to think about this IRS business uh which is which is not a uh which is n not a small thing, because it's a core responsibility of government.
Uh it's the one it's the most direct uh relationship anybody has with the government.
Most of the productive class, at least uh in the United States and uh other countries have with the government.
They pay taxes to the king's tax collector.
That's the m that's one of the most important roles uh in any in any functioning society.
So it's not a small thing.
It's not like something wacky uh going on at some peripheral agency out on the fringe.
It's absolutely central uh to what government does.
Uh and you know, I know a lot of people talk about, oh, impeaching Obama and all the rest of it.
Uh Rush was was kind of down on this uh yesterday, because Rush was uh Rush rightly said that, you know, uh impeachment isn't gonna go anywhere.
No, you're never gonna get anybody uh you're never gonna get uh that the um the the Congress to impeach this president and turf him from office.
He's gonna be there until uh January twenty seventeen at least, and that's if he doesn't decide to run for a third term.
I'm not entirely joking about that.
Um but but so the question is what can what is what can you get out of it that is gettable?
And and I'd look at it this way, why not take these these people at uh at uh at their word?
They're insulting the American people by saying, ah, I didn't know anything about it.
I I'm like you, I've read in the I'm read it in the paper.
I'm stunned.
I had no idea I was bugging the associated press until I read it in the Associated Press.
You'd think as I was bugging them, I'd have heard about it earlier, but I never did.
It completely took me by surprise.
So let's take these guys at their word, that they know nothing about anything that's happening anywhere.
Uh that means that means not that the political leadership of this country is corrupt, but that the bureaucracy of the United States government is corrupt.
That's w essentially every time Obama says, I knew nothing.
Every time Eric Holder says, I knew nothing.
They're telling us uh we don't have a political problem here.
We have a problem with the government.
The government of the United States, in respect of its key functions, like law enforcement At justice and uh and uh tax collection at the IRS is systemically corrupt.
There's a magazine.
Uh it's a magazine for high level uh federal bureaucrats.
They've got their own magazine.
It's like a glossy lifestyle magazine.
It's like Vogue or Vanity Fair uh for high level federal bureaucrats.
And they had a headline on it last week called Majority of IRS employees are not corrupt.
Isn't that a reassuring headline?
So like the the majority of them are not corrupt.
What what do they mean by that?
55%, 60%?
So that means that only what?
40% of IRS employees are correct corrupt, 30%, 28%, 23%.
That's supposed to be the good news.
Uh I would say, I would say Republicans ought to look at what would be the long-term advantage here.
The long-term advantage would be uh blowing up the IRS and reforming uh and blowing up the uh the abominable tax code with it.
Because this tax code is uh is a disgrace uh to any uh any any free society to have a tax code this big, this bloated, with so many uh complicated, contradictory exemptions all snaking and intertwining back on each other like spaghetti.
Uh it it used to be said that you you could take your uh tax return, you could you could get all your 1099s and W twos and uh and your receipts and all the rest of it and go to ten different accountants and you'd get ten different answers as to what tax you would pay.
But it's it's actually beyond that.
You could take all your W-2s and 1099s and your receipts to ten different IRS agents and be given ten different answers as to what you should pay.
So there are no curr there's no correct answer to the question of what tax do I owe.
There are only approved answers.
Uh which means that, like uh Malik Obama in Nairobi mailing in his uh his application for the Barack H. Obama Foundation, or like the Tea Party groups all around the country mailing in their applications, you are depending on the discretion of federal bureaucrats.
Uh the more complicated a tax code gets, the more you're just basically empowering the bureaucracy to make all these decisions uh about you.
And and uh and as I say somewhere in my book, you don't need a president for life like those banana republics down south do.
You don't need a president for life uh if you've got a bureaucracy for life, and you give them more and more power by passing more and more complicated laws.
So I think the I think the end game here, the Republicans should go for, and this is where uh the congressional leaders appearing on the talk shows are not talking it up strongly enough and not being outraged enough, uh, is actually uh getting rid of the IRS, replacing it something with a lot less powers, commensurate with the powers of revenue agencies in other countries, as opposed to the absurd vast range of powers it currently has and shouldn't have, and getting rid of the tax code.
That's what they should go for.
That we'll live with the benefits of that for a generation.
Uh and this systemic corruption, uh where uh US citizens are no longer equal before the law because uh this or that bureaucrat here and there decides that they're not equal before the law.
This is systemic corruption, and the price that should be paid for it is the abolition of the IRS and its replacement with something else entirely, and the wholesale revision of the United States tax code.
And that's what we that this should be a learning moment that conservatives and Republicans uh uh are teaching uh teaching the country.
And so we should we shouldn't that should be the end game.
Get rid of the IRS, uh replace it with something with far fewer powers, and get rid of this vast, complex, unfair tax code that no longer treats you as citizens but treats you according to which privileged groups you happen to belong to and where you fall in the hierarchy of privileges.
Mark Stein in Farush, more straight ahead.
Mark Stein in Farush on the EIB network.
I mentioned uh Malik Obama uh who runs the Barack H. Obama Foundation and who got his uh tax exempt status approved in nothing flat.
And uh and uh uh not only that, he had Lois Lerner personally sign off on it.
Um and uh and backdate it, which is probably illegal.
It would be illegal if uh if if there was any equality before the law in this country.
And by the way, this guy isn't a United States citizen either.
He's like out in Nairobi.
That's where he mails to get the really good treatment from the IRS uh for the for the nonprofit status.
Mail it in from Nairobi, because it gets fast track then.
Um he has twelve wives.
He's close to the president.
As I said, the the president and Malik, Barack and Malik Obama were best men at each other's wedding, although uh he's uh Barack's only had one wedding.
Uh uh Malik has had twelve at least.
I don't know whether uh the president was best man at every one of them.
But there's now some uh dispute, and uh this is according to the Daily Mail in Britain.
Because to read anything interesting about American politics these days, you have to read the foreign press.
Doesn't seem to percolate through to the New York Times or the Washington Post.
Uh this is in the Daily Mail in London about Malik Obama, uh that apparently he may uh be using uh the money he is getting from this f foundation.
Uh he by the way, he pays his staff at the Obama Foundation out in Kenya less than five pounds a week.
So that's good, because if you're worried about his tax exempt status that he's just uh wasting the money on high salaries like Lois Lana gets.
He's paying the staff at the Obama Foundation less than five weeks.
Meanwhile, Malik Obama is living like a king.
And it doesn't appear to be entirely clear where he's getting this money from.
Uh whether this is coming from the uh Barack Hussein Obama Foundation or not, uh, and whether uh he's uh uh whether the the money that uh is being that the tax exempt donations to the Barack H. Obama Foundation, which I believe has a post office box in Washington,
DC, uh, are now actually uh going just to fund the lifestyle of Malik Obama, his twelve wives, I believe he is twelve wives, he's uh he's been accused of beating two of them and seducing a uh school girl, but I don't know whether the schoolgirl is yet the thirteenth wife.
Uh but apparently uh yeah, it has an address in Arlington, Virginia, the Barack H. Obama Foundation, but it's going to pay for all these employees in Kenya.
It's supposed to be about building schools uh and uh for f and houses uh for poor people in Kenya, but it doesn't actually seem to do that, but it does seem to have built a rather nice house for Malik Obama.
This is corruption.
I mean, this isn't even subtle corruption anymore.
We have a we have a situation now where if you're connected uh and you're on the inside, you get better treatment.
You don't need it doesn't matter now.
You may be a citizen of the United States.
You may hold a passport from the United States, you may have been born in the United States and think that the whole point of it is that you are a citizen equal before the law, like any other, which is how it's meant to be.
But it's not.
What matters now is whose ear you've got in Washington.
Uh because if if you've got the ear of somebody in Washington, you'll get the express treatment.
If you don't know anyone in Washington, you'll just be put on the back burner.
And if you make the mistake of publicly coming out against the government of the United States, as Gibson Guitars did, uh as the lady with the true the vote uh uh tax uh tax-free uh organization did.
If you if you make the mistake of explicitly coming out before the uh the president, then the point of the United States government is not to enforce the law, but is to enforce the wishes of Eric uh Eric Holder and and Lois Lerner and the other thug enforcers of the most powerful government on the planet.
This is serious banana republic stuff.
It is about the integrity of the United States government.
And if you can't trust that, if you cannot speak to that integrity, then you are no longer in a nation of laws.
That point has passed, that point is over.
And when you look at the people who do get approved, like Malik Obama and the people who just get put on the back burner and harassed and hassled by federal agencies for two, three, four years, we are deep in Banana Republic territory.
Mark Stein for Rush, more to come.
Mark Stein in Farush on the EIB network.
Uh a senior Red Cross official is among eight killed in a uh suicide attack by insurgents, as they say, on Red Cross facilities in Jalalabad.
Uh the Red Cross in Jalalabad has been attacked and a senior uh uh official kill there.
Uh This is the war, by the way, that uh Barack Obama says is over.
The other side don't seem to kind of get that.
They uh they didn't get the memo that the war in fact is no longer operative and isn't uh isn't carrying on.
Uh but uh Barack Obama has said that the war is over and so this uh this uh basically this this is uh an entirely non-official attack on the Red Cross in Jalalabad.
It's uh it hasn't been properly authorized.
It's in non-compliance with Barack Obama's decision uh that the war on terror has gone to an end.
But nevertheless, they did it.
They killed uh the senior member of the Red Cross and eight other people at Red Cross headquarters in Jalalabad today.
