Time Text
No, no, no, no, no.
I've not forgotten.
I've got all kinds of audio soundbites still to get to.
We were just barely scratched surface.
Look, I'm just going through the polling data now.
I told you what was going to happen here.
Why everybody question me?
I've laid this out as well as anybody else has.
Just got a couple, three more things, and then we're going to get to Christy, who has agreed to play the role of a Greek column today for Barack Obama as they tour the destruction of the 1%ers on the Jersey Shore.
Rush Limbaugh at 800-282-2882.
Email address.
Lrushbo at EIBnet.com.
Ladies and gentlemen, here, another one from thehill.com.
They have a piece by college professor Bruce Giori, G-Y-O-R-Y, Bruce Giori, and he is from the University of Albany.
You heard of him, right?
You don't know who Bruce Giori is?
Well, I don't either.
Bruce Giori says that all these likely voter polls are dead wrong.
The likely voter polls are the worst polls to look at.
He says Obama's going to win this election 51 to 47, hands down, not even close.
And the mistakes everybody's making are looking at likely voter polls.
So The Hill runs a piece written by a guy casting doubt on all their own polls.
The likely voter screen, that's the worst thing you can do.
And Obama has it in the tank now, 51 to 47.
By the same token, A.B. Stoddard was on Fox yesterday.
She's an executive at The Hill.
And she's the lone voice in the media who thinks that Obama has not been helped by the storm.
And she makes a persuasive case.
She thinks he's not been helped by it.
He already is president.
People expect presidents to be presidential.
What's the big plus in Obama getting to look presidential?
He already is.
Big whoop.
He can't get the money out there.
He can't print money and distribute it.
He can't get anybody's house rebuilt by Tuesday.
He can't get anything done by Tuesday.
He can't make a significant difference on the ground by Tuesday.
So what is all?
That's what she's saying.
That's one of the upcoming soundbites.
Still, a couple little more polling things here we move on.
Quinnipiac.
We're back to Quinnipiak.
Quinnipiac University.
CBS uses them, and I think a couple others do.
In Virginia, Quinnipiak says that Romney is losing the state by two points, but he's plus 21 in independence.
Now, the rule of thumb from the left, the rule of thumb from the media has always been, he who wins the independence wins the election.
They've always said that about Ohio.
In fact, he who wins the independence in Ohio wins it.
Well, I'm sorry, Romney's up double digits independence in Ohio and also 21 points among independents in Virginia.
Mark Halperin, Time Magazine, another drive-by media figure who's having trouble going along with the conventional wisdom.
The Quinnipiak poll today that shows Obama up in Ohio.
It's a Quinnipiac CBS poll that shows Obama up five in Ohio.
Mark Halperin says, I don't think so.
I don't think so because Romney's way up in independence.
And Mark Halperin says history shows if you win the independence, then you win Ohio.
Now, he doesn't come out and say that the polls are wrong, but he can't go with the flow here.
He's having trouble.
You know, he's all over MSNBCC.
I don't know where he goes, but he's having trouble going along with the old CW because he's looking at all these polls that show Obama up one, two, three, five, but Romney plus double digits in independence and says that it doesn't make sense.
I've got the whole Quinnipi Act, CBS, New York Times poll here.
And it says Obama leads Romney 50 to 45 among likely voters, exactly where the race stood on October 22nd.
His lead in Florida, however, has shrunk from nine points in September, just one point in the news survey.
It's Obama.
It creates a fiction of record Democrat turnout while oversampling Democrats.
The voter enthusiasm in the Quinnipi Act poll is, I'm just telling you, I'm not going to give it a take too long to run through all these stuff.
Trust me, the voter enthusiasm in their poll is decidedly Republican.
They've way oversampled Democrats in this poll.
They're using a Democrat plus eight sample.
This is my point.
If you, all these polls, folks, that show Obama winning these swing states by three points, five points, all have a Democrat sample that's identical to 2008.
And the only way these polls can be right is if Democrats show up in far greater numbers next Tuesday than Republicans do.
That's the only way.
Here's another recalcitrant drive-by media type, slate.com, Dave Weigel.
This early vote calculation from Gallup looks terrible for Obama.
I mentioned to you yesterday, and there hasn't been anything on it, drive-bys, which I think is highly instructive.
Romney up seven in early voting, not just Ohio, but across the fruited plane.
Now, I said yesterday that that number is the one that is going to send chills and shockwaves down the spines.
The White House and the media and every Democrat organization.
Early voting is where they think they win elections.
Early voting is where people get bused in and they don't even know what they're doing.
They're sent into the polling place.
They're told what to do.
They come out and give them a couple milk duds and send them on their way.
They have no idea what just happened.
It is where all of the double voting, all kinds of shit, at least from the Democrat standpoint, where the walking around money is spent.
And people walk in the street.
Hey, what do you do?
Oh, nothing.
Here, come vote.
I'll put you on that bus.
They got on the bus.
They register them.
They send them in to vote.
Early voting has always in the minds of the Democrats been an advantage for them.
And Mr. Weigel said, you know, it hasn't gotten too much attention outside of talk radio, which means me.
But if accurate, Gallup's study of early votes neutralizes one of Obama's best road to victory talking points.
As it conducted tracking polls, Gallup asked voters whether they cast ballots or intended to before Election Day.
The early voters broke 52 to 46 for Romney.
The dawdling voters who would vote before election day were tied, 49.49.
The voters waiting for November 6th broke for Romney again by a six-point margin.
Now, this would be easy to explain away if Obama had lagged in 2008's early vote, but he didn't.
In 2008, he won the early vote.
And he's losing it big time this time around.
And that result, again from Gallup, yesterday, and they didn't talk about it.
It's the only poll showing this, by the way.
Gallup is the only one showing it.
One final story.
We'll come back.
Start working your phone calls into this.
This is from the Associated Press.
And it actually sounds like they're livid here.
The headline of their story, Romney, GOP, suddenly plunging on the Democrat turf.
They're upset that Romney's spending money in Pennsylvania.
The AP is upset that Romney's spending money in Wisconsin and Michigan and Minnesota.
They're upset.
Who does he think he is?
Those are our states.
That's how this story is written, if you read it.
Mitt Romney suddenly plunging into traditionally Democrat-leaning Minnesota, Pennsylvania.
His Republican allies are trying to put Michigan into play.
It's forcing poor old Obama to defend his own turf.
It isn't fair.
Obama's pouring money into TV ads in these states and dispatching top backers.
And Biden's going, it's not fair.
It's not fair.
Why Romney shouldn't be able to do this?
Those are our states.
That's the way this thing sounds when you read it.
By the way, Bolt Biden is somewhere.
Biden to say, I haven't had a chance to click on it.
All I have is the headlines.
On Drudge, least, Biden, I'm going to give you the whole load.
It's what Biden.
I don't know where he is.
I don't know.
I'm going to give you the whole load.
Now, we have to put this in the context of the war on women.
Biden's out.
We're going to give you the whole load.
Me too.
I thought they already did that.
Shot the wad, whatever.
I thought they did that.
Man, this guy, if people stop to think he could end up, no, never.
So anyway, the AP here is why are the Republicans doing this?
Why are the Republicans plunging into our states?
Those are Obama's states.
Who do they think they are?
What are they doing?
Why should Obama have to spend money?
It isn't fair.
You think the AP would have any trouble with this if the Democrats were plunging into traditional Republican states?
Here's how they analyze this.
And there's no way of knowing, as I said last hour, Republican efforts in the trio of Rust Belt states, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota.
It could indicate that Romney's desperately searching for a last-minute path to 270 electoral votes without Ohio.
Or just the opposite, that Romney's so confident in the most competitive battlegrounds that he's pressing for insurance against Obama in what's expected to be a close race.
Or maybe, maybe, maybe Romney simply has money to burn.
He's a rich guy.
You know, use it now or never.
The Obama campaign for what it's worth, the last and first of these explanations are exactly what the Obama campaign is saying.
Well, they don't have any way of winning Ohio.
They know they're done in Ohio.
Trying to create a new path.
And Romney's a rich guy.
He just got money to burn.
Doesn't want to have any left over.
He's not going to share it with anybody.
He's not a nice guy, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So that's how the regime is explaining it all.
All right.
We'll take a brief time out and we'll continue.
We'll get your phone calls, and we got audio soundbites.
Now we got a great roster.
We got people commenting on Governor Christie playing the role of a Greek column for President Obama today in the South Shore, New Jersey where the 1%ers.
I'm going to hear from him on that.
He's not going to have time to get to me.
He's going to be hearing from a whole lot of other people before he hears about what I'm saying.
Well, I don't care.
Who doesn't blow up my tail every day?
What have I got to lose?
And welcome back, El Rushbo.
Half my brain tied behind my back.
Just to make it fair, I thought I.
Oh, never mind.
I've got this ADP story, and the way I read it, it doesn't make any sense.
Here's what I think happened: ADP to payroll people, automatic data processing.
You know who owns that or who started that, by the way?
Frank Lautenberg.
That's exactly right.
Senator New Jersey.
Anyway, they released jobs numbers.
Now, they were going to release a downward revision in September job numbers tomorrow of 188,000, I believe.
And they had to revise it to this printed so small, I can't, it's 60-some-odd thousand or 80, no, 88,000.
They would have only posted an 80,000, the original estimate, 182,000, and they were going to only publish 88,000.
It was regarded, they were going to put a fraudulent number, and they released it early, and somebody caught it.
So they had to recall it, and they've been forced now to say what the real number is, which is not nearly as good for the economy as what they were originally going to report.
Okay, the storm and Obama.
This is another one.
Depending on who you talk to, this storm in the aftermath is helping Obama.
It stopped the Romney momentum, and it's put Obama back in charge.
And you got Governor Christie helping Obama.
Oh, it's the worst confluence of events that could have ever happened.
But then in real life, what have you?
You've got a president who says in the middle of storm, we leave no man behind.
He still hasn't said a word about Benghazi.
There are photos of the president in the Situation Room watching the storm, but they won't tell us what was going on in the Situation Room when Benghazi was happening.
I don't know how, well, that's not true.
I can see how with certain people.
See, here's my problem.
Here is my problem.
You got fundamentals in this race.
What are the fundamentals?
The economy is horrible.
You have the Tea Party that's arisen since 2010.
You have Romney momentum.
You've got people have decided that Obama is incompetent.
Obama didn't have a record.
He can't run on anything.
Those are serious fundamentals.
How in the world does three days of standing in the White House and a trip to the Jersey Shore with Chris Christie change those fundamentals?
In other words, you're all set to vote for Romney.
You can't wait to vote for Romney.
You're so fed up.
You don't want any more of this.
You don't like Obamacare.
scared to death about taxes and your liberty and everything.
And then a storm comes and Obama looks presidential.
You know what?
You know, I'm going to vote for Obama.
I don't follow that.
I don't know how people can suspend reality.
But I know that there are people who can.
But there's some serious fundamentals in this election.
And all the fundamentals add up to the fact that people are totally dissatisfied with Obama as president.
They don't like the economy.
They don't like the current housing market.
There's nothing good going on as far as the people who are going to vote for Romney's concerned.
And how do any of those people change their minds for Obama in the midst of a three-day storm where he looks presidential?
He already is presidential.
The mayor of New York told him, we don't want you here.
We'd rather have our first responders on the highway.
We'd rather do our work here.
We don't want you here right now.
Governor Christie said, bring money.
Just show up and bring money.
I need money.
My state's in terrible shape.
I need money.
So come and bring money.
I'll be glad to stand with you.
I don't care about the election.
He said that.
His election is not important right now.
Anyway, he can't rebuild a house.
He can't rebuild a levy.
He can't rebuild a school.
He can't get the water out of the subways.
Obama can't.
Not in three days.
What substantive change can Obama make that is credited to him that totally changes the dynamic and the fundamentals of the campaign?
That's what I don't get.
The feel.
Okay, so he can feel what they're going through.
But that's going to change their minds.
They're voting for.
Here's A.B. Stoddard.
I want you to.
She's the hill.com.
And where was she on the record, Greta Van Sustran last night talking about all this?
Not being able to campaign through these waiting days, not being able to get his Obama supporters out to become Obama voters again is a real detriment to his chances of winning because it was always based on a turnout model.
If they're out of power and they had to pay to go to a hotel and life is tough come Tuesday and it's inconvenient, they might not show up.
And I don't think that having a few press conferences where he said the power could be out for a while, this is a serious storm, is really going to inspire people who've had a tough four years.
This is somebody who wants him re-elected.
This is A.B. Stoddard at the Hills.
How does this help?
He basically suspends his campaign.
He's sitting in the White House.
He can't get his supporters out.
He can't rally his supporters.
And it's up to Bill Clinton to do that.
And Joe Biden, who's promising to give you the whole load.
So she's got a point, as far as I'm concerned.
This is his base, by the way, that's affected by this.
Your phone calls are coming up right after this.
Okay, one little soundbite here before we get to your phone calls.
And it's Joe Biden.
He's in Sarasota, Florida today.
And this is a, you know, here's, let's turn this around.
What is he doing in Florida?
I mean, we've had two polling units pull out of Florida, claiming it's over here.
Romney's won it.
What are they doing here?
I mean, they ask, what the hell are you doing in Pennsylvania?
What are you doing invading Obama's state?
Anyway, he's here in Sarazona, a largely female audience.
As they say in my business, I'm going to give you the whole load today.
Rachel, will women interpret that the way I think?
Well, is that is that, if you're in that audience, is that what you would think?
Really?
Well, who would who This is a very unfair question to ask, but who would want that in that crowd?
I mean, you're in a Craig plugs Biden up there, campaign rally.
He promises to give you the whole load.
What do you do?
You make a mad dash for the stage and get in line.
If Clinton said it, it'd be a different, hey, hey, ladies, I'm here to, I'll give you my whole load today.
And they'd storm the stage if it was liberal women.
To the phones we go, and we are going to start in Hoover, Alabama.
It's Michelle.
Great to have you on the program.
Hello.
Hi, Rush.
It's an honor to talk to you for the third time, so I'm going to try not to be nervous this time.
Well, you don't sound nervous at all.
Okay, well, that's good.
A couple questions for you.
It's kind of a two-part question.
First, do you think that what Chris Christie is doing and how he's basically campaigning with Obama today, if that hurts or helps Obama or hurts or helps Romney?
And, you know, the other point I wanted to ask you about is, you know, in 2008, when Obama and McCain were campaigning and McCain suspended his campaign, and Obama came out and basically said, look, if you can't do both, you know, as president, you've got to be able to juggle both.
Then you don't, you know, deserve to be president.
And, well, he doesn't seem to be able to be juggling both.
What Obama said in 2008 was when McCain suspended his campaign, went to Washington, Obama said, well, you go ahead.
And said what you said, you got to be able to juggle both things.
I'm going to Florida.
You know how to reach me if you need me.
And it was at that point that if McCain had any chance, it vanished.
Look, before I tell you about my thoughts on Christie, what do you think?
You're the caller.
You tell me what you think.
Well, honestly, you're probably going to think I'm crazy for thinking this, but in some ways, I would think it would help Romney because if, you know, Chris Christie is a Republican, he's doing a good job running, you know, the efforts there.
And, you know, my prayers and thoughts go out to all those people.
And that they're going to say, okay, so the president's coming here to do his meet and greet and look at the ground, but can we now let our Republican governor get back to work to actually helping these people?
That's what I think.
All right.
Let me ask you a question.
What did you think of Chris Christie's Republican convention speech?
You remember it?
Did you see it?
Oh, heaven, yes, I saw it.
At first, I kind of liked his, you know, his boisterous, you know, personality, but it really kind of seemed like, well, let me tell you about me.
And it wasn't really about, well, how Mitt Romney would be good for this country.
Yeah, it wasn't about that, was it?
It wasn't about how good Romney was going to be, was it?
No, not at all.
Okay, now, do you remember what Christie said before the first debate?
He said.
Yes, I do.
What did he say?
He basically said that this race is going to turn on a dime once Mitt Romney debates Obama.
Right.
And he's the only person in the country who thought that.
If you go back, everybody was scared the first debate because Obama's the smooth talker.
Obama's this guy that's going to mop the floor.
And I thought, nobody thought what Christie thought.
He was the only guy who said Romney is going to wipe the floor with Obama.
Nobody else thought that.
Now, why I'm asking this series of questions for a specific reason.
You may have figured it out and you may have not figured it out.
If you haven't, it'll be up to you to figure it out on your own.
But when you sit there and you're the only guy saying that Romney's going to clean up, what are you doing?
You are raising expectations.
It was thought to be unfair what Christie did.
Put all kinds of pressure on the mop, the floor.
Remember this, before the first debate, the conventional wisdom is that Obama is just the greatest speaker.
I'm not talking about you and I.
We know he's not the one with the prompter, but I'm talking about population at large in the media.
So Christie goes out there, raises these expectations to a point that nobody thought Romney could possibly do that.
And what if Romney hadn't done that?
What if Romney hadn't come through?
Well, now here we are.
I'm just asking some questions.
Here we are a week.
We got six days before the election.
And yesterday, Chris Christie said, I don't care.
The election's not important right now.
I need the president of the United States here.
He's been great for me and my state and so forth.
Now, when you look at it as I have laid it out, what do you think?
Well, I just don't think Chris Christie is, and then I mean, there are things about him that I love and then things about him that I don't like.
I just don't think that Chris Christie, being such a strong Romney supporter and advocate, especially during the primaries, out there with Romney, you know, saying these things and putting the president up on, you know, a pedestal, so to speak.
I think maybe he's just saying, look, you know, I need some federal money here and I need to get it as fast as I can.
But ultimately, if I'm a person in the state of New Jersey, like I was a person here in Alabama when we had all those tornadoes, look.
Okay.
All right.
Well, look, I'll be sharing with you an email that I have here.
I had an email from this is another Rush 24-7 subscriber in that's a private email address.
You only get that e-deal at my address if you're a subscriber to rushlimbaugh.com.
And it's from William Gans.
He said, oh, man, this is great.
The narcissist-in-chief took the bait.
Governor Christie baited Obama to come to New Jersey to survey the damage, and Obama is now wasting precious time in a state that he's going to win anyway.
So Obama wastes time in New Jersey while Governor Christie's friend takes Ohio, Pennsylvania, Minnesota.
And as an added bonus, Christie scores big Obama bucks for his state, which shores up his status as a good governor for the whole population of New Jersey.
So this take is, this is a brilliant move by Christie.
He asked Obama to come, and Obama said, sure.
Although, I don't, who made this request?
Do we know?
We don't know who made the request.
So this guy's assuming that Christie called Obama and said, come in.
And Obama said, okay, I'll be glad to.
I'll be there.
And so Obama landed just now.
Air Force One just landed in the marsh and they're going to get together.
So this guy thinks that Obama's been ropodoped.
They're together on Marine One right now.
Okay.
They're together on Marine One.
They're flying to the devastation of 1%ers in people that live on the shore.
So Obama's going to go out.
He's going to give money to the 1%ers because that's where most of the damage is on the Jersey shore.
And Christie is it's unthinkable.
It's unbelievable, this devastation there.
So that's one take that this is a slick move by Governor Christie.
Really smart.
Gets Obama out of the White House, gets him out there wasting time in a state.
He's going to win anyway.
Christie gets the Obama books.
New Jersey gets its help.
The election isn't going to be moved.
It's going to happen Tuesday.
Of course, the opposite theory is: what the hell is Christie doing?
He's giving Obama a chance to look presidential, clean up a state, look competent, look like cares and so forth.
What's a Republican doing propping up Obama?
That's the other take on this.
How long with who before who gets fed up?
Well, Snerdley's asking how long before the New Yorkers get fed up with how long it's going to take to restore things.
Here's the thing is, nothing is going to get fixed by Election Day.
Obama is not Superman.
He can't go to New Jersey and get the water out of people's homes in the 1%ers' houses.
He can't rebuild the 80 houses that went up in flames in Queens.
110 now.
He can't rebuild.
You know, Bob Turner's house was one of those.
Bob Turner, Congressman, Bob Turner was the chairman, CEO of Multimedia.
It was Bob Turner that put my TV show on the air.
His house went up in flames due to the storm.
Obama can't rebuild any of those.
There's nothing he can do by Election Day.
Bloomberg is: I don't even want you here.
Bloomberg wants whatever credit that's going to accrue here, if there is any.
That crane that's dangling near the Parker Meridian on West 57th, they have no idea what they're going to do to get that fixed, and that's going to cause people to not be able to go into surrounding buildings for a long time.
Nothing Obama can do about the crane.
There isn't a Spider-Man to call.
There's no Superman to call.
No Chuck Norris to call, president's man.
So he can't do anything.
It is going to take a while.
I don't know how long, you know, what New Yorkers' patience threshold is going to be on this, but might not be much.
But from the standpoint of Governor Christie, could you saving charitable Governor Christie?
Don't you think you maybe would do better with a President Romney assisting you and your state than Obama?
Obama's going to win New Jersey anyway.
There's any number of ways to look at this.
Now, the drive-bys think that Christie is saving Obama's election.
I'll play you those soundbites if we come back.
Drive-by media.
Drive-by media got some love for Chris Christie.
They are loving them some Chris Christie today.
Chris Christie is saving Obama.
Now, one thing: we know that Obama called Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, and Doomberg said, no, don't come.
Therefore, we know that Obama was making phone calls.
So is it possible?
I'm just throwing it out there.
Is it possible Obama called Christie and said, you want some money?
You better let me come.
Doomberg orders, I can't come.
So what if Obama caller wants to come and make money contingent on it?
Christie wouldn't reveal that.
Trying to be charitable here, folks.
Trying to be charitable.
There are obvious other explanations.
Christie doesn't want to wait until 2020 to run for president.
There's a number of things that could be going on here.
Let's listen to what the drive-bys think.
This is yesterday, last night, and this morning, a montage of various drive-buyers grasping at straws, suggesting here that the Messiah needs Chris Christie to save his bacon.
President Obama will be in New Jersey meeting with the governor there, Chris Christie.
Seven days to go now until Americans go to the polls.
President Obama did draw praise from Chris Christie, New Jersey governor.
Could a small thing like Chris Christie coming out with a very serious and significant endorsement of the president's handling of the storm tip the race?
Chris Christie, speaking honestly this morning, probably helped the president.
He's being praised by not just the Republican governor, but the one who gave the keynote address at the Republican National Convention.
Chris Christie was full of praise for President Obama.
High praise from Republican Governor Chris Christie, New Jersey.
Chris Christie, the Republican governor, praising President Obama.
Will Christie's newfound love for President Obama tilt the election Obama's way?
I didn't think it needed tilting.
The way I read the polls today, this race is over.
Obama's winning.
That's what the latest round of polls all say.
But now these drive-buyers, wow, maybe Christie can save Obama's bacon.
They're hoping.
I mean, that's really their grasping is to could it tip the race?
Christie praising Obama's flood relief efforts and his great presidential actions since the storm hit.
Here is Christie tripping over himself to praise Obama.
I was on the phone for the third time yesterday, last night with the President of the United States.
He called me at midnight last night.
He accelerated the major disaster declaration for New Jersey without the usual red tape.
I can't thank the president enough for that.
Signed that this morning.
The cooperation has been great, and the cooperation from the president of the United States has been outstanding.
He deserves great credit.
He's been incredibly supportive and helpful to our state, and not once did he bring up the election.
All right, now, it must also be said that Chris Christie is really, he can get really emotional.
And I don't doubt for a minute when he tours the devastation that it rips him apart.
He's the governor of the state.
I don't, and he's powerless.
And nothing anybody can do.
You can't get the water out of people's houses.
You can't.
These people's lives are upside down.
He's the governor.
It's his job to fix it.
There's nothing he can do.
He needs money.
He doesn't have any money.
Obama's got the money, even though Obama doesn't have it even.
No, we don't have any money.
By the way, speaking of that, how about all the money Obama has wasted on this silly green energy campaign of his?
Wind, solar, cylindra, all this stuff.
Imagine if we did have that money that had not been thrown down that endless rat hole.
Now, where's all that new green energy helping out today?
Where is it?
Where are all those jobs?
Where's all the new energy technology helping to solve the problems, the devastation?
But anyway, I don't doubt that Christie is devastated by what he sees and wishes he could do something about it.
And Obama's the one guy in the country that can roll into town with money.
And he does, and his governor, it's his job to fix it.
He probably sees Obama's the only route.
I would suggest to him, you know, maybe President Romney would maybe be even more helpful to you than Obama would be.
And I'm just not speaking politically, Thinking long term down the road, it's not going to get fixed next Tuesday, by next Tuesday.
Nobody that's been flooded out or burned out of their home is going to end up in their home by Tuesday.
Anyway, you object?
Well, you can save your objection.
I don't care about it.
We're out of time.
My friends, I'm being too reasonable.
I'm just too nice a guy for this job.
I've been saying nobody expects their house to be rebuilt by Tuesday.
Nobody expects the water out of their house by Tuesday.
Nobody expects everything to be back to normal by Tuesday.
But damn it, they did during Katrina.
They expected Bush as superdome.
Everything, New Orleans, supposed to be fixed the next day.
And it would have been if there'd have been a Democrat in charge, like Obama.
But Bush was incompetent.
Bush didn't care.
I'm being too reasonable.
Democrats are on record as saying they do have such expectations.
