The views expressed by the host on this program are right.
You can count on it.
And don't doubt me.
And everything's easy.
If you just if you just commit to that.
Just commit to it.
What you hear me say is right and go from there, and it's amazing how your life will change.
It's amazing how easy it will be to understand things.
If you just accept that I'm right and don't doubt me.
Ha.
How are you?
800-282-2882 is the number if you want to be on the program to email address L Rushball at EIB net.com.
When I was, what was it, two years ago or three, snurtedly, when I had that fake that faux heart attack thing in Hawaii.
Was it two or three years ago?
Almost three.
It'll be three well.
No, it'll be well, whatever it was.
I was in Hawaii.
What had happened was I'd had a spinal epidural for uh cervical problem on Oahu, and I got on a plane and I went over to the big guy and I played golf.
I had the spinal lepidural at 8 o'clock.
At 8 30, I'm out of there.
I'm on the way over to big guy and play golf, consuming adult beverages with.
January 3rd, 2010.
Okay.
So I'm up there with the um No, it was December, because I know I spent New Year's Eve in the hospital.
And Obama was there.
We were sweating out he was going to show up.
At any rate.
So I went over there.
I had the spinal leopard, and I'm consuming adult beverages playing golf with the golf buddies, the golf gods get me.
And I all day long come back, and the next I mean, I am just dog tired, and I get back and and get up next day, and noon the next day, I got chest pains and go, oh, I'm having a heart attack at the hospital.
Um it ended up on the news all over it, and you remember it turns out it was uh that did everything.
There was no blockage, it wasn't a heart attack, it was just uh there that I don't know what it was, but it wasn't that.
It was a obviously concluded it was a re reaction to the to the spinal lepidural and uh the adult beverages and the full day's activity playing golf and the partying afterwards.
Anyway, ever since then, I have been looking for uh a an emergency SOS button type thing to have with me at all times because I can't hear.
Uh I can't hear alarms, I can't so I've been looking to have something that can have with me at all times in case because once something like that happens to you, in this case it it wasn't a heart attack at all, but still it was scary.
And I just I happen to be reading uh after Steve's job Steve Jobs' death, I happen to be reading a book by a guy who Steve Jobs had hired at Apple.
His name was Jay Elliott, and his like a lot of people were writing about the lessons they had learned working for Steve Jobs.
Elliott's got a new book out called Leading Apple with Steve Jobs Management Lessons from a Controversial Genius.
Anyway, the first thing I read by Jay Elliott, he mentioned that he had started an app, uh little side business that created an app that was an emergency medical notification app.
It's called V dot SOS.
And so I went, I downloaded it from the app store.
Thankfully I've never had to use it, but it's it really is the most uh amazing thing on on your it knows exactly where you are via GPS.
I mean the address.
And if any you can you what you do in this app, you uh you fill out the names of five people you want notified when something happens, your doctor, all of his contact data, you put anything that you would want anybody in your close circle to know if an emergency happened, and then all you've got to do, this app.
I'll show I've got a picture of it here, I'll hold it up in the ditto cam.
You can see that bright red SOS button.
That's what that's what the app looks like on your iPhone.
You hit that button, and two things happen.
Local EMS is notified, and then some big outfit nationwide also is notified, and they work with the local people, and they are at you within two or three minutes.
Now, I've never hit the button.
You press the button for three seconds to send an SOS and bamboo, they show up.
And I've I've been talking to these guys.
I want to get a demo on the button, and they're gonna they're gonna set that up.
They'll set up you just to show you what'll happen, just to prove to you that it works, which I haven't had time to told them.
I'll do this after the uh after the election.
Uh but they want to set all you guys up with the app.
They want to set everybody here on the staff up.
I haven't, I haven't uh pursued that uh with them yet, but they're they're really great people.
They're out of San Francisco, I think, Bay Area somewhere.
And um it's it's uh it's highly so no, no, snurdly, it's not the clapper.
Don't say that.
It's not, no, no, no, no.
Is it like the little old lady in the TV ad in the wheelchair?
No.
This is pure high tech.
If you hit that button, your local EMS people, I mean, they're it's uh it's all worked out.
All these people are signatories to the to the plan.
And it wherever you go, it knows where you are.
And if you ever have to hit it, uh there are testimonials on how well it works.
Uh V. SOS.
I just wanted to mention it to you because I I uh I think about private sector and all of the innovation that that takes place and and uh all of the great minds that exist in this country that that meet needs, meet the uh the needs and the desires of people at the uh at the same time.
No, Jay Elliott is the guy's name, former senior VP of Apple.
And this they just casually mentioned this in the book.
It didn't make a big deal.
I wasn't even selling it really.
I just was intrigued by it because of that incident that had happened in uh in Hawaii.
And they sent me a note.
I mean, they've they've well, whole companies are signing up for that.
Construction companies, for example, are outfitting all their employees with uh with this app.
Uh it's one of these things you never you hope you never have to use, but that you have full confidence if you do.
That's the fastest way.
But the great thing about it is that once you hit that button, your doctor gets called, everybody in your family that you want to know or friends, whatever it takes to make sure that you're treated and taken care of quickly are notified at the same time instantly.
Anyway, uh we have uh ladies and gentlemen, remember that that song we played yesterday with the kids singing about life in America, should Romney be re-elected.
I made a big deal out of this only for the reason, like what I said here at the top of the program.
If you just don't doubt me, so I have no reason to lie to you.
None whatsoever.
I am not possessed with an insatiable ego.
I don't run around wondering who's thinking about me.
Never crosses my mind.
I've got nothing to gain by lying, and I have all these people that have called here during this election season who have said, you know, I uh really like your show.
I I just found you two months ago, three months ago, and I used to believe everything in the media about you.
And I've always wanted I ask people why.
Why it it everybody knows the media lies or makes things up.
Some people don't, I guess.
Some people treat it as as as gospel.
But the people who tune in here out of curiosity find out that all this rig and roll isn't true.
Yesterday we're playing this video, and a lot of people will hear this, and they'll chuckle at it and then forget about it.
And to me, it's very useful in terms of informing and educating people.
Because this ad is put together by hardcore Democrats at a real Democrat advertising agency, and they produce ads for Obama and other Democrat candidates.
And I've always believed that people just if they would just accept and understand liberalism and who liberals are.
And once you see a liberal, that's all you need to know about them.
You at least know that you should never vote for one.
Well, that's pretty extreme.
No, it's not extreme.
It It's it it's all maybe extreme based on your starting point, but we've had four years of it here.
Uh Detroit's had how many years of it?
Uh New Orleans has had how many years of it?
No, no, no, where you want to go, where liberals have run things uncontrolled and unchecked.
What do you have?
Unmitigated disaster.
You have rising poverty, rising crime, rising single parenthood, rising abortion.
I mean, you've got cultural rot wherever liberals run the show.
The last four years, what have we got here?
We got one in six in poverty.
We've got twenty-three million Americans not working.
We've got the American workforce that has been reduced profoundly.
I mean, the labor force participation rate is way down per family capita income or family uh uh mean family income is down almost $5,000 a year.
And the first two, we've got Obamacare, we've got the government's taking over health care.
We've got, and I submit to you the vast majority of American people know it.
And it's why the polling data looks like it looks.
But liberalism means something.
It has specific meanings, and it has specific definitions, just as conservatism does, and just as conservatives do.
Now, we conservatives are lied about all the time because we're considered a threat.
We do not lie about liberals.
The liberals like to say, for example, especially if you're new to the program, liberals like to say that, well, you can't listen to limbaugh or watch Fox, you just get one point of view.
No.
In practice instance, practically every instance, I explain liberalism on this program in a more honest way than the liberals do.
As a means of blowing it away.
I set it up as a means of arguing against it.
It I may not have liberal guests on this program, but liberalism is all over this program.
In an educational informative way.
So we've got this video with these kids singing this song.
And to the casual observer, it just sounds crazy.
But who could possibly think this?
And see, that's the point.
They do.
This is who they are.
You would never vote for a candidate that said this is what he believes.
And this is what he supports.
You would never do it.
That's why liberals are always trying to mask and camouflage themselves at election time.
I have to take a brief time out.
We'll come out, play the song again, because Bob Beckle on Fox was defending it.
Which, of course, and I want you to hear.
But it's in real terms, it's not hard to understand what liberals are.
The tough part is accepting it.
Because some of it sounds just impossible to believe.
And you wouldn't want to believe that there are Americans who really think this stuff and believe this way.
But Benghazi happened for a reason.
There are hard, cold calculated reasons why.
Four Americans are dead.
There is an ideological component to it.
It's not just incompetence.
It's not just they didn't know what they were doing or they couldn't make up their mind or couldn't make a decision.
There's actual philosophy, ideological belief behind it.
And one of the things that liberals believe, particularly when it comes to foreign policy, is that if something happens to this country like 9-11, we've had to do something to cause it.
America is always to blame.
That's why the video was blamed for two weeks.
That's why the filmmaker was.
It's got to be America's fault.
Particularly we've elected Obama, the one, the Messiah.
I mean, the world was going to love us.
So it can't be that they don't like Obama.
Gotta love Obama, and they believe this, so it's got to be America's fault.
That's their belief.
It can't be that there is inherent evil in the world.
If there is inherent evil, we are to blame for it.
America is.
They do believe that.
So we'll take a break.
We'll come out and play this thing again.
You can hear it the second day in a row and listen to it within that context.
Okay, last night on the five on the Fox News channel, Greg Gutfeld was hosting.
And he spoke with Bob Beckle about the future children project ad has these little young crumb crunchers singing and blaming their parents for all that's wrong.
Now, you need to see these kids.
They're well fed, they've all got glasses if they need them.
They got they're well dressed, they've got they've got braces if they haven't been denied anything.
Their lives are not miserable.
But you listen to the songs that they sing, the lyrics they've been given, and how all this misery that's coming is this is their parents' fault and so forth.
So Guntfeld says, Bob, you love the ad.
You actually like that ad.
I loved it.
I thought it was exactly right on the money.
I think it's a way to appeal to it's exactly right that there is a consequence to putting somebody like Mick Romney in the White House.
And those consequences, we don't know what this guy's about because he never says what he means and means what he says.
If you have Republicans in charge of the House and in the White House, there's gonna be some dangerous policy that's gonna be inflicted on American people.
Okay, so here's Beckle defending what you're about to hear.
Romney, therefore, is going to be responsible for what you hear in this ad.
He said, Yeah, it's it's exactly right on.
If you have Republicans in charge of the House in the White House, there's gonna be some dangerous policy.
Now they they believe this.
They're not just trying to scare people to get votes, they uh which they're doing, but they also really believe this.
Imagine an America.
Your strip lines are fun and free.
People just die, and oil fills a sea.
We don't have to pay for freeways.
Our schools are good enough.
Give us endless wars on foreign shores and lots of Chinese stuff, what the children of the future, American through and through, and something happened to our country, and we're kind of blaming you.
We haven't killed all the polar bears, but it's not for lack of trying.
The earth is wrecked, big bird is sacked, and the atmosphere is fine.
Congress went home, early.
They did their best we know.
You can't cut spending with elections pending, unless it's well fair.
We're the children of the future.
American go and through.
But something happened to our country, and we're kind of blaming you.
Find a park that is still open, take a breath of poison air.
Then you close your place to fill the weapon in space, but you can write off your au pair.
It's a little awkward to tell you, but you left us holding the back.
When we look around, the place is all dumb down, and the long term's kind of a track.
What a children of the future.
American through and through.
And yeah, we're blaming you.
You need your best.
You've got the test.
Mom and dad for blaming you.
There you have it, the Future Children Project.
That's an Obama campaign ad run on the web, and the Democrats are out defending it.
That's what we're gonna get with Romney.
Putting words in their kids' mouth, and they believe that.
Oceans filled with oil.
People get sick and they just die.
What Republicans want to kill people?
They like oil polluting the oceans.
Republicans are tolerate rotten schools.
Who's who's who's running all this stuff now?
Who's been running this country for the last four years?
If you're unhappy with the way the country is right now, believe me, the Republicans have not had one thing to say about it.
Especially the first two years, Republicans didn't have the votes anywhere to stop anything.
They've got these four years that have gone by, and what do the Democrats say?
Well, it wasn't those four years, it's the previous ten.
Well, the previous eight, really.
Bush years.
Bush did all this.
And Bill Clinton addressed it at a Democratic Convention.
That's right.
I'm going to tell you people something.
It was so bad.
It was worse than anything anybody ever knew.
Anybody ever seen.
I'm going to just tell you there's not a president alive.
Not even me who could have fixed this.
Not in this short period of time.
Barack couldn't have done it.
I could have done it.
If I couldn't do it, nobody could have done it.
That's what you know.
So these four years, didn't they?
Now Obama's running as a challenger.
He's not even the incumbent.
Republicans have done all this stuff, but this anyway is what they believe.
And the point is, once you accept that, once once you just trust me.
Just believe what I tell you.
Your world opens up.
A clear understanding on everything takes place.
All my staff, it's happened to them.
Their lives are wonderful.
They'll even tell you.
Anyway, a brief timeout, my friends.
We got more.
Your phone calls are coming up.
No, I just liberalism is what it is.
And liberals are who they are.
When you come to grips with that, everything else becomes easy.
There's outrage out there over members of the U.S. Armed Forces targeted by ID thieves, officials raided several locations in Washington State, and they found hundreds of people, many of them active duty military, have had their identities stolen.
The suspects opened charge cards and the victims' names, according to detectives, and they racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.
Now, it's understandable there'd be outrage over the fact that the thieves targeted active duty military, but they target everybody.
But if this tugs your heartstrings, good.
Identity thieves are popping up all over the place, particularly in times like the In the aftermath of a storm in the Northeast, where all the systems are down for a while and rampant chaos and confusion are reigning.
This is a gold mine.
And what can you do?
It's very simple.
Become a life lock member.
Life lock will protect your credit card numbers and your social security number, and now your bank account, which is the latest direct easy target of ID thieves.
It's called Lifelock Ultimate, and is the new science, the latest comprehensive ID theft protection most ever made.
Goes way beyond guarding your credit card and your social security.
Now it's bank accounts.
All you have to do is call 8440-4833 and become a lifelong member.
And once that happens, whenever there's activity on your credit card accounts or your bank account or your social security, you will be blasted with alert after alert after alert.
There's activity going on, even if it's yours, you find out about it.
That's how you shut it down before anybody succeeds.
800 440 4833 is the lifelock number.
Mention my name when you call, and they'll lop off 10% of what is already pretty inexpensive.
Lifelock 800 440, 4833.
Okay, Atlanta.
Robert, I'm glad you called, sir.
Thank you for waiting.
Hi.
Well, thanks for letting me uh have a few minutes with you, Rush.
It's a real honor, just like uh your other two previous callers said.
And and I'm probably not one of your typical listeners.
However, I listened to you many years ago when I lived in New Orleans down on WWL, and and that's when I started to make my conversion.
And I started to quit drinking from the Kool-Aid.
I am an American first, and I'm also gay.
And uh it was not up until the last presidential election That I decided I've had enough.
Absolutely had enough.
And meaning you did or did not vote for Obama.
I did not.
You did not.
Okay.
I voted for McCain.
And I was, believe it or not, an ardent supporter of Palin.
I I loved what she had to say.
And I loved her enthusiasm.
And four years of this current president have proven everything that people like yourself in conservative talk radio have said was.
But wait a minute.
You said that you're gay, and this guy is for gay marriage.
He's he's he is he's casting his if he's got you know the uh uh the the the gay political apparatus in Hollywood's very, very active, and they're all behind Obama.
Yes, so what?
So what?
They don't speak for me, and I'm not a single issue voter either.
And if if that's like me saying, okay, I'm gonna vote for a gay candidate simply because they're gay.
Well, if that's all I can base my in my vote on, you know, God help me, and God help the rest of the country.
It's the same thing with the black vote for Obama.
If this is all they can do is vote for this man simply because he looks like them, uh I was a code enforcement officer for a couple of years in in West Atlanta.
Uh the first two years of of Obama's presidency, in fact.
Nothing in that area of town has changed culturally, economically, uh, to to benefit any of those people, and yet they are ardent supporters of this president.
Well, you know, it's interesting you you say that because I have a story from Breitbart from yesterday, and uh I'll get to it after your call, but the the headline is Exodus inner city blacks fleeing Obama and Democrats.
Now we hear this every four years, and then the election comes and we find it's the usual ninety to ninety-five percent who uh who vote for Obama.
I need to go back though, I need to ask you a question, uh, because it it dovetails with what I've been talking about.
The media and the Democrat Party have successfully well, except with you and probably some others, have have said the gay community, Republicans are the worst thing for you.
Like that that kid song, uh the Republicans are gonna try to fix you.
Now, why don't why don't you believe it and they do?
Yeah.
Uh that that song is nauseating, and I just hope that like me, eventually when these kids grow up and they really become informed, it but and that's the that's a real key issue there.
You've got to inform yourself.
And if you really don't look at the issues, I'm a self-employed real estate appraiser here.
Um the policies of this administration and the Democrats overall have impacted my work and my livelihood negatively, especially with the implementation of Dodd Frank.
And again, I want to see everybody in this country prosper.
And I'll be honest with you, you know, I support gay marriage.
I I have a I have a decent honorable life.
I love my parents.
I I I've been past president of my neighborhood association here in the liberal bastion area of Southeast Atlanta.
Uh I've done a lot.
But I want to see everybody do well, not just me, and not just because of one thing that really, you know, is sort of sensitive to my life.
You are singing from my hymnal.
I mean, that is me to be what great country, everybody must prosper.
Everybody at least have the chance to to apply whatever talent and ambition they want to it.
We want everybody to do well.
You know, Obama said, look, if I can't do this in four years, then vote me out.
Well, now, what has he done in four years for crying out loud?
What has he done that he can really go in front of a m uh a group of people and say, other than, oh, he got uh uh bin Laden.
Well, no, he didn't.
He got out of the way so that his leaders could tell the the SEALs on the ground, go ahead and and and do what needs to be done here.
No, that's true.
But he's gonna be able to do that.
The important thing he is trying to make people think that he actually pulled the trigger.
He really wants but you've just nailed it.
The reason, like they're back to Bain Capitol Day.
Obama doesn't have one thing in the last four years he can tout.
There's nothing in his record that he that that he can go out and say, you want more of that?
And people go, Yeah.
If he goes out and say, You want more of that?
The answer is across the board no.
You've nailed Well, I'm I'm I'm glad you called, Robert.
Thanks very much.
I appreciate it.
Here, by the way, this story, Breitbart from uh from yesterday.
After his meteoric ascent to the top of the American political arena in the country's history, we are now in the midst of witnessing one of the most stunning collapses of any man ever to hold the office of the presidency.
Over the past few weeks, we've begun to see the ultimate unraveling of support for the president with women and youths fleeing from his side.
But what, and by the way, the gender gap doesn't exist anymore for all that money and effort and a war on women, women and and uh are 50-50, Romney and Obama.
Obama does not have any more a majority of women.
That's the latest polling data.
But what is even more surprising and perhaps unimaginable to the president, it says here, is that he is now also losing members of the normally deemed untouchable base of support, poor inner city black Americans.
The community organized voting block on Chicago's South and West sides that many say he has long since abandoned.
This now, folks, this is a shocking story to read.
Um we hear it every four years, and it never happens.
I've been doing this 25 years.
Every presidential election, we get this story, blacks fleeing the Democrat candidate.
We're getting it now, blacks fleeing the black Democrat candidate.
There's a quote from a uh Southside Chicago community activist here, Mark Carter, quote, our issues have not been met on, have not been adhered to, and it's almost as if they are just saying, even though no one's addressed your issues, just go with them anyway.
We're saying no.
Now I will say this is not the first such article I've seen about black populations in Chicago being fed up with Obama.
I've seen two or three.
And not just black inner city uh urbans, but but educated middle class, upper middle class, elite blacks fed up with Obama.
Pastors, preachers fed up with Obama on gay marriage.
Who knows?
Uh but this is a story on Breitbart about black Chicago community organizers, inner city who are fed up because he hasn't done anything for them.
And it's it well, it is, it is that he hasn't done anything for him, but it's also that it's as though he hadn't even been president.
You you have to look at it from their expectations.
Okay, you get the first black president ever.
Many thought that that meant specific things redounding to them.
Not only has that not happened, what they're also saying in this story is it's as though he doesn't even see us here.
He's not one of us.
It's it's all back to the Democrat stories, liberal media stories sometimes that we saw in 08 about whether or not he's authentic, such as that black magic Negro column that was in the LA Times.
And uh and the debates that were raging among uh uh the the civil rights groups.
Is he down for the struggle or not?
So I don't know whether there's anything to it or not, but but I've seen three or four of these uh stories.
And the reason why people pay attention to it is is if it ever does really happen, if there ever is, what would you think would it five percent would be all that it would take for the you okay?
So it'd have to be eight to ten percent, and eight to ten percent uh abandonment.
Blacks for the Democrat candidate, and they'd be done.
The Democrat candidate, the Democrat Party would be done if there's ever an eight to ten percent switch.
And that's why people pay attention to it.
It never happens.
It hasn't 25 years it hasn't happened.
We've had phone calls here from uh black people.
I'm never voting for Obama, and I know a lot of people aren't, but it never manifests itself on election day.
We'll see on this one.
But as I say, this is not the only one I've seen.
I've seen a bunch of.
And the ones I've seen are all oriented in Chicago to boot.
Anyway, satisfaction of teaching and a thrill of learning, part of the human spirit.
And when the professors at Hillsdale College figured out that they could teach and inspire students nationwide about the Constitution and do so far beyond the campus, they jumped on the opportunity.
And thus they're using the internet to produce two complete semesters worth of college lectures on the Constitution, everybody, and it's free.
They did it last year, Constitution 101, and it was received so well, hundreds of thousands of people signed up at no charge to watch the lectures.
Take the tests if you want to.
Now it's Constitution 201.
Same thing.
You go to a website called Rushforhillsdale.com, you sign up, and at your leisure, on demand, whatever you want, you watch the lectures on the Constitution, as taught at Hillsdale College.
And they do it because they love it.
And they want to share it.
Dr. Larry Arne is the president of Hillsdale, and he simply believes everybody understood the Constitution, we'd be much better off as a country.
Much better off.
And so he's trying to make it possible.
He's trying to bring the Constitution, which is woefully ineptly taught now, to as many people as he can.
And the best way to do it, put it on the internet, make it free.
And there's no string attached.
You're not going to be solicited.
Your email address isn't going to be sold to anybody.
It's just you and you alone watching the lectures.
Rush for Hillsdale.com.
Name of the website.
That's where you go to sign up.
You watch it when you have time.
Here is Cassie in Midland, Michigan.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Hi.
Hello, Russ.
It's quite an honor, and oh my gosh, I can't believe I got through.
But um here's something unimaginable for you.
I'm a woman.
I'm a Latina, and I'm a Republican, a proud, proud Republican, and I'm also a combination welder and a combination pipe welder and a pipe fitter.
And I'm also a certified weld inspector through the American Wellder Society, and I'm also an API authorized inspector.
You are one hot mama.
You are one wise Latina.
Yes, sir.
And this war on women crap, I tell you, the war on women is all Obama.
How embarrassing.
You know, he he stands for everything that I fight for every single day, because I want to be known as an individual, a strong woman, not just a big vagina walking into the job and expecting everything.
You know how embarrassing.
He goes against everything.
I couldn't agree with you.
If I if if if I were if you're a walking testicle, I would be if some guy appealed to me that way, it'd be an insulting like you can't believe.
I totally understand.
I'm glad to hear it too.
You know, speaking of the war on women, who was it that prevented us from having the first female president in this country?
Barack Obama and the Democrat Party.
Heck, even even us, even we here at the EIB network, we're trying we're pulling for Hillary out there.
