Happy to have you with us, ladies and gentlemen, thrilled and delighted to be with you behind the golden EIB microphone, Rush Limbo.
Half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Our telephone numbers 800 28282 and the email address L. Rushbo at EIB net.com.
So Jay Carney, White House press secretary, just got some questions from the drive by media.
White House press corps was asking Jay Carney if Obama might postpone election day because of Hurricane Sandy.
And Jay Carney had no comment.
Question.
Jay, some of the utilities are saying that the power is going to be out in some areas for up to ten days.
That would obviously include election day.
Is there any contingency planning to alter the election day schedule because of this?
Jay Carney said, I think that is not something I'm able to address.
Question, would the president have the power to adjust election day?
Mr. Kearney.
I don't know the answer to that question.
I think you're getting way ahead of yourself here.
For the regime, the election can't come soon enough.
They don't have any momentum in their direction.
The longer they delay this, the worse it's gonna get for them.
The question thus arises.
Can the president wave a magic wand and move the election?
What do you think, Snerdly?
Why not?
He doesn't have the constitutional mandate.
It didn't have the constitutional mandate for Obamacare either.
Didn't have the constitutional mandate to award amnesty to the kids of a million illegals, but he did it.
Now, the Constitution is very clear on when presidential elections are.
And to change that, you would have to amend the Constitution.
And there isn't time.
That's not the question.
The question is, would that stop a statist like Obama?
Let me ask you this.
I want you all to just see if you can, off the top of your head, at any time in American history, has anything canceled an election?
Good.
One time.
One time, and it was a local election.
And it happened on September 11th, 2001 in New York City.
Local New York City elections were suspended because of 9-11.
Those elections were not federally constitutionally mandated.
We had every election on schedule on time in the Civil War.
During World War One, during World War II.
There hasn't been a time.
But the question is, does that matter?
If the one wants to change the election, can you see him going on TV?
I mean, after all, look who's going to be affected here.
Every Obama voter in the Northeast is affected by this.
These are blue states being implue states being impacted.
These are Obama voters.
Can you see him on television?
Painfully talking about how precious the right to vote is.
And how Mother Nature has interceded, and it's just it isn't fair.
It isn't fair that an act of God should keep people from voting.
Can't you see him tugging at the heartstrings of every American?
On the basis of fairness and what's reasonable.
Well the answer, of course, is Mr. President, why don't you just lower the seas like you said that you were going to?
Why don't you just make this storm not be as bad?
if you had lowered the C's in the first place, instead of, say, doing Obamacare, maybe we wouldn't be in this spot.
I know it's no defense against the Republican weather machine or the The Republicans have this evil machine that's able to overcome everything, and the Republican weather machine, after all steered that hurricane, Katrina into New Orleans.
Bush did it.
You know, he's put it, had the levers and the gauges and the dials.
He was steering it right into Katrina.
And he blew up the levies.
So if they did it once, they could do it again.
And it's Obama voters that blue states here are being impacted.
You got Northern Virginia, F Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland.
Of course, then there's another retort to it.
Well, wait a minute, though.
We've had early voting.
What do you mean it isn't fair?
People have had a chance to vote before Election Day if they wanted to.
Oh no, but I think we need to be fair and extend this for maybe like a year.
Till all repairs have been completed and all renovations have been completed after the storm.
I got people, not none of my friends, I mean I've seen emails from people who really think that this guy would declare martial law to delay the election.
That's what's thought of him by some people.
But then the question really, does delaying the election help this guy?
I mean, the longer this goes, the more ground he's gonna lose.
I would think the regime would want this election as quickly as they can get it.
The polling is not going in his direction here.
And what's gonna, you know, it's a great performance uh during a hurricane in its aftermath, gonna reverse the polls.
What can he do?
He can't lower the seas.
He can't stop the rain.
He can't go out there and hold his arms up and scare the storm off and have it turn out to sea.
Anyway, the fact that the media is asking these questions is the first indication that you're going to see stories about it.
And by the way, I didn't say anything about it at the beginning of the program.
That's why some of the restraint that I'm talking about.
I'm because I'm if the election were today, it would be a blowout.
Did he say that?
I didn't say it.
Did he say that?
Did he just say if the election were today, it would be a blowout.
And the election's a week from tomorrow.
The fact that the media is asking old Jay Carney about this means they're gonna be you're gonna you're gonna see stories on this starting very quickly.
And these questions to Kearney are going to be the basis for the stories being legitimate.
Well, it's of course Mr. Limbaugh's a legitimate story.
Uh the president's press secretary was asked about this very subject today.
Uh, of course we do stories on perhaps moving Election Day and seeking scholarly authority, and you don't think they're going to be able to find some Harvard Law School buddies who'll come out with a way, oh sure, moving the election would be easy.
If they think it will help Obama, you watch.
Could have predicted this Friday.
I didn't.
I could have predicted it when the program started today.
I didn't.
It's the restraint.
I know some of you don't like me being restrained.
I'm just using my instincts on this.
Just it's it's not it, it's well, if the blue states, if turnout in the blue states is down in any way, then he's got no chance.
This, if it weren't for San Francisco, Seattle, parts of LA, and New England and the Northeast, he doesn't have a prayer.
This is all Blue State voters.
If something gets if his constituents can't vote in full force, that's how it hurts.
Anyway, you know as well as I do that the very fact that the press ask these questions means these stories probably are in the process of being pre-interviewed right now for later discussion on MSNBC.
And CNN tonight.
Try this.
This is uh see, what's the date on this?
October 27.
This was Saturday.
This is more of what I believe to be evidence that the drive-by media knows what's about to unfold next week and that they're panicking.
AP had a story on a poll.
And the result of their poll is that a majority of Americans harbor prejudice against blacks.
U.S. News.
And from Friday, polls show widening racial gap in presidential contests.
So on Friday, the Washington Post ran a story talking about how more and more white people don't want to vote for the black guy anymore because they're racist.
It was followed on Saturday by an AP poll which said that more white Americans are racist than ever before.
The AP, the AP particularly egregious.
Those views could cost Obama votes as he tries for re-election, the survey found, though the effects are mitigated by some Americans' more favorable views of blacks.
Folks, this is this.
This is last ditch desperation, bottom of the barrel.
Unseemly, it's the Obama administration which wrote off the white working class vote last year, almost one year ago.
That now famous column by Thomas Edsall in the New York Times announcing that the Obama campaign was writing off the white working class vote.
It lost them, the bitter clingers.
They weren't going to be campaigning for them.
What they were going to be doing instead was trying to suppress those votes.
So here it is a year later.
And the AP says that this new racist attitude among whites in America could cost Obama votes as he tries for re-election.
This is outrageous as far as I'm concerned.
This is beyond the pale.
These same people voted for Obama four years ago.
These same white people voted for him.
So they become racists in four years.
They become full-fledged, unmitigated racists in four years, these same white people who were heroes four years ago.
Now the AP's got a poll out that shows they've all become racist.
Along their racists and their guilt is no longer sufficient to make them vote for Obama.
Those views could cost Obama votes as he tries for re-election.
So if you don't want to be called a racist, you had better vote for Obama.
And never mind this.
Never mind that blacks'prejudice for Obama does cost Romney votes.
Is there any doubt about that?
Obama's going to get, what, 95% of the black vote?
That's obviously going to cost Romney some votes, but we don't care about that.
No, no, no.
Majority harbor prejudice against blacks.
Who knew?
Just four years ago, we were such a wonderful country.
Why, if we'd elected the first black president, and that was the end of racism.
Obama was going to end racism, and what's he done?
He's created a bunch of brand new racists out of the white people that voted for him four years ago.
This is the bottom of the barrel, folks.
This is the despicable, and this is the low rent nature of today's left and the drive-by media, which are one and the same.
Gotta take a brief time out, sit tight, much more straight ahead when we get Back.
Now, of course, by law, Obama cannot move election day.
It is uh, at least according to Section 7, Chapter 1, Title II of the U.S. Code, and I'll read that to you.
The Tuesday next, after the first Monday in November, in every even numbered year is established as the day for the election in each of the states and territories of the United States of representatives and delegates to the Congress commencing on the third day of January next thereafter.
So it's he can't move it.
It's in the Constitution, it's in the uh United States Code.
He cannot move the election.
But it has not stopped him.
The law has not stopped him in other things.
The thing is that it, if truth be told, delaying the election is not really in their best interests.
The longer this goes, the I mean, unless you think it go on so long there could be a turnaround, but that's all of this is just absurd.
I the the media's gonna try to get a big discussion going on this, and they will.
You watch.
You watch.
Folks, this is the week.
Whoa, one thing that will be delayed is the jobs report.
The labor department is saying you know what, we're not gonna probably release the jobs number Friday for October.
Because of the storm.
We're gonna have to delay that.
And I there the Austin Gouldsby was on one of the Sunday shows either yesterday or uh last week, I forget which.
Former economic advisor to Obama, and he made it clear that the October jobs number not going to be good.
And so they are gonna delay the uh unemployment number.
You can almost bank on the fact that you're not gonna get an unemployment number.
Because it's still October, and nobody can get a job this week in the Northeast.
They can't even show up to the jobs they've got.
So they'll say that whatever number we put out is skewed way beyond reality.
So they'll already play that game.
And I'm telling you, all this stuff, folks.
Don't fret that it's going to work.
It's it we're we're at the point now where every traditional Democrat trick that's played is going to backfire on them.
The bloom is off the rose.
Obama's likability has tanked.
It's not what it was.
Don't doubt me.
I know you're still gonna be fearful.
I know you're gonna be worried.
I know your confidence is gonna ebb and flow.
But don't doubt me on this.
Here is Brian in Los Angeles, and I am glad you called, sir.
It's great to have you here.
Hi.
Hello, Russia.
How are you doing today?
Very well, sir.
Thank you.
Okay, I just wanted to let you know how what a profound impact you've had on my life.
Uh I've only been listening for about three months, and I really haven't followed politics uh at all my life, but uh.
But because of you and my in-laws as well, they they kind of pushed me your direction.
Uh we ended up uh watching uh excuse me, I'm a little nervous, but we ended up last night watching 2016, and uh an eye opener it was.
Um I think it even goes beyond a Democratic and Republican issue.
It's an American issue.
Yeah.
And uh it was frightening, to tell you the truth.
It was it was absolutely frightening.
And uh so you weren't following politics at all.
You're how old are you now?
Um 48.
You're 48.
What was it?
What was it that uh made you think you ought to get into it?
Uh well you uh you and your uh the information that you uh you know you don't BS anybody you uh Yeah, but how did you come across me?
I mean, you you're out there avoiding politics.
How'd you come across me?
Your in-laws?
Yeah, my in-laws well they're Republicans.
Uh actually, well, they they they've always voted Republican, they actually registered as independent.
So what they've probably been telling you, you gotta listen to this Rush guy, you got to.
And you know, no, no, I don't like politics.
I don't want any same old bunch of liars.
I don't want you gotta listen to this rush guy, and you finally did.
Yeah, you know, um I've been uh I've been a union member for many, many years.
Uh-huh.
And it's always been pushed as far as uh, you know, democratic, democratic.
Yeah, yeah.
I I've ignored that too because I did I didn't necessarily uh you know uh drink that Kool-Aid either.
So uh for finally and in the Well, that's the you know that's okay.
You're here now.
You're here now.
That's what counts.
And it's great to have you here.
Great to have you in our audience.
Thank you very much, Brian.
We'll be back.
And we're back.
El Rushbow having.
Well, yeah, I guess more fun than a human being should be allowed.
I really don't like this, folks.
I'm I'm just being blatantly honest with you.
I am dialing it back so much today you can't believe it.
And I'm but I'm I'm I'm I'm telling everybody here if I can't tell you what I'm telling them.
I'm having to dial it back.
Well, we'll just give me two or three days here, and I have a feeling I'm gonna be able to.
I don't know.
I just this is just you know me, folks.
I don't whine, I don't moan, I don't complain, it's very unbecoming.
And I'm not whining or moaning or complaining.
Just telling you, I am really, really being restrained on two specific subjects today.
Now, there's an advertising agency out there, two guys run it, Jeff Goodbye and Rich Silverstein.
The advertising agency is Goodbye Silverstein and Partners, and they have just released a pro-Obama commercial that features children singing about a variety of horrors that will happen under a President Romney.
Sick people will just die, oil fills the sea.
And it's about two minutes.
I'm gonna play it for you in its entirety.
It's been around throughout the weekend.
The conservative blogosphere is near meltdown over it.
Uh the kids in this video, if you if you look at a picture of them, they're well fed, they're well dressed, they are well cared for, they've all got braces and glasses.
Uh no doubt they have excellent medical care.
They're they're they're not kids from poverty, they're they're not in any at least the way they're pre presented here, the way they're dressed, uh they're just as normal as any other kid that you'd see anywhere.
They're nothing remarkable, they don't look like they're homeless, they don't look like they're downtrodden, don't look like they're starving, don't look like they're in any pain, they're smiling, all this stuff.
But what somebody did here was put the far left extreme Democrat platform to music.
And they've had these kids sing these lyrics.
Coal mines are bad, gays are good, the air is so bad, one more breath will make you sick, and then you'll die due to bad health care.
Oil is floating on the oceans, there are toll roads, endless wars, Chinese are making all our stuff.
We have global warming, no place to play, no big bird, the tax code's all wrong.
And it's all the fault of their mothers and fathers.
This is, you know, when you hear it, you have to ask yourself, who in the world do they think this is going to persuade?
And then when you hear it, folks, I'm just this is who they are.
I always tell people if you could just learn to look at Democrats today as liberals and understand what that means ideologically.
We would have never elected Barack Obama if people understood liberalism.
If people understood liberalism, nobody would have fallen for the myth that was the caricature of Obama, that it was all lies.
If people understood liberalism, everybody would have known that the next four years were gonna pan out exactly as they did.
That unemployment was gonna rise, the government was gonna get bigger, the private sector was gonna get smaller, unemployment was gonna skyrocket, poverty would increase, income would decrease.
This is why I said I hope he fails.
If people just understood who these people are, and they get their minds around it and accept it.
We would have so many fewer problems than we've got.
So I want you to listen to this.
This is not a parody.
This is not a joke.
This is who these people really are.
This is what they are teaching their kids.
This is what they want the kids of America to believe.
This is the mainstream Democrat Party today.
Imagine an America Where strip mines are fun and free Where gas can be fixed And sick people just die, and oil fills us sea.
We don't have to pay for freeways.
Give us endless wars on foreign shores and lots of Chinese stuff.
What the children of the future.
American through and through.
And we're kind of blaming you.
We haven't killed all the polar bears.
but it's not the lack of time.
The earth is cracked, the big bird is set, and the atmosphere is bright.
Congress went home early.
They did their best we know.
You can't cut spending with election spending unless it's well federal.
We're the children of the future.
Americans are that something happened to our country.
And we're kind of blaming you Find a park that is still open Take a breath of poison air Think for closer place to fill the weapon in space But you can write off your au pair It's a little awkward to tell you But you left us all in the back.
When we look all around, the place is all dumb down.
And the long term's kind of a drag.
What a children of the future.
American through and through.
And now we're blaming you.
You did your best.
You've got the test.
Mom and Dad, we're blaming you.
And there you have it.
And that is for real.
That is produced by a Democrat ad agency, which has produced a number of ads for Democrat candidates for Obama.
It's called the Future Children Project.
And that's the name of the ad, Future Children Project.
Several unidentified kids singing.
And I say, if you see the picture of them, they look well fed, well dressed, well cared for.
They've all got braces if they need them, glasses.
They've got great medical care.
Everything's everything in their lives are just fine.
Except their minds are being polluted.
Now, folks, polluted.
Again, you you can say, okay, well, who's gonna be persuaded by this?
That's so over the top.
That's not.
I mean, it's a good question.
The thing to realize is this who Barack Obama is.
This is what he believes of his own country.
These kids are being propagandized.
These kids are being educated and now having songs written for them to sing about the justifiable hatred of their own country and their parents.
Mom and dad, we're blaming you.
Well, where do you go then?
Obviously, government's the answer for everybody and everything.
Mom and dad, you've almost killed the polar bears.
You got the oceans with oil on them, you've got the atmosphere frying, we've got global warming.
guard at all.
And this is who they are.
This is the way Barack Obama and every one of his appointees looks at the world in our country.
And I know you're saying, I'm on Rush.
Don't come on rush me.
You've lived through these last four years.
We've played you the audio sound bites of Obama around the world, blaming this country for all the world's ills.
You cannot hang around in a preacher's church like Jeremiah Wright for 20 years and say, I don't believe any of that.
You don't stay there for 20 years if you don't believe it.
You don't hang around terrorists like Bill Ayers and all of that.
This is this is who they are.
And they think, in addition to being blatantly up front about who they are, they think this is persuasive.
Who do they think this is going to persuade?
Who do they think this is going to inspire?
I don't know, but they clearly do.
They've got somebody in mind.
They think it's going to work on somebody.
This is part of the Obama campaign.
This is an Obama campaign ad.
It's not some bunch of school kids with a wacko teacher that's gone nuts.
This is an ad put together by a prominent advertising firm, big Democrats.
And the express purpose is to help Obama.
Let's go back.
June of 2009.
We're just five months into the Obama regime.
And this is from Burlington, New Jersey at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School.
A bunch of kids here, class of students singing a song, praising Obama.
He said to make his country showing.
Barack St. Obama.
He said it all to be here today.
Eagle apartments, equal tax.
So they're out and sing it alone.
He says everyone has a safe chance and makes sure everyone gets a chance.
Barack Obama.
And there were a couple of others, in addition to that one.
Must take a brief timeout.
And we'll continue after this.
Don't go away.
No, no, no, no.
No, Snerdley, I'm not afraid of the No, no, no.
In fact, if you go to the YouTube where this thing is, it's it's universally unliked.
Oh, yeah, it's it's it's universally disliked.
It is not popular at all.
This stuff doesn't work anymore, but I'm just telling you, this is who they are.
I don't mean to make too big a deal of this.
This is just, folks, this is one of my really, really passionate things.
Liberals are liberals.
That's a definite definition.
There's a whole bunch of things that that means.
Every year, every day, from beginning to end, they don't change.
They are who they are.
If you know that you would never ever vote for another one.
There isn't one worthy of your vote.
Pure and simple.
This is not some little outlier over here.
This is a this is a great opportunity for people to learn who liberals really are.
That's all I'm saying.
And the fact it's an Obama campaign ad and it's universally disliked indication their stuff is just not when they're honest and upfront about who they are, they crash and burn.
It's why they have to lie about who they are.
It's why they have to make up stories about who they are and create these mythological figures like Obama was.
As you know, the bloom is off the roads.
Here is Sean in Arlington, Texas.
It's great to have you here, sir.
Hi.
Hi, Rush.
It's great to talk to you.
Thank you very much.
I got a question for you.
Why do you think it is that liberals always want to insert the government into areas of the private sector that they don't belong, like healthcare and buying automobile companies and things like that?
But then on the other hand, they want to outsource things that the government has a responsibility to do and actually does well, like provide embassy security in Libya.
Well, excellent question.
The first Answer is power.
Ask yourself this.
After four years, why in the world is Barack Obama, of all Americans, in charge of America's health care?
Why?
What is his experience?
What's his education?
What does he know?
What are his talents?
What are his abilities?
Why is Barack Obama involved in any.
Did you hear that he wants to open a new cabinet level department?
Secretary of Business.
Kid you not, Secretary of Business.
We already have a Secretary of Commerce.
It's hubris arrogance, power.
They know better than you do as to why they outsource protection, security at an embassy.
Inherent distrust of the U.S. military.
Inherent distrust of the military.
Inherent distrust of average Americans, distrust of the private sector.
That's it, folks.
Another exciting excursion into broadcast excellence is now history.
But there's another one starting in 21 hours.
And don't miss it.
You never know what'll go by that you need to know about.
