We're all I can't believe two are gone, but they are.
And we make the most of every precious broadcast moment, ladies and gentlemen.
I am your host.
The all-knowing, all caring, all sensing, all feeling, all concerned, Maha Rushi.
Saying more in five minutes than most people say in a year.
Telephone number 800 282-288-2, the email address.
Here's a story from the San Francisco Chronicle.
I believe it's the Chronicle.
Let me double check.
It's uh be a better way.
Yep, San Francisco Chronicle.
No charges in discovery of body in Novato Yard.
A Novato, California woman will not be charged with a crime.
Listen to this.
A Novato woman will not be charged with a crime after her husband's body was found underneath a barbecue pit that she built in their yard.
This from her attorney, the body of Dale Smith, 74, was found on February 23rd, buried at least four feet beneath the patio of the home he shared with his wife, Evelyn Smith, who is 55.
Neighbors had not seen Dale Smith since last September, or at least September 2010.
It was around that time that his wife and two laborers put in a brick barbecue pit in the backyard of her home on Rebecca Way.
Evelyn Smith never reported her husband missing.
A neighbor alerted the police that he was missing, and then Evelyn Smith's attorneys gave the FBI permission to search the backyard, and they found the guy.
He's a Korean war veteran.
And retired conde found him under the barbecue pit she had built.
I'm sorry, I can't.
I shouldn't be laughing at the I mean this is no charges.
Nothing to see here.
Move on.
Bay Area.
You know, talk about the cylinder business for a second.
Ladies and gentlemen.
What?
No, the Nevada guy ran against Obama too.
And this guy uh he his margin of victory was twenty two percent.
The Republican candidate in Nevada ran hard against Obama and everything he represents.
And this is a district that almost went for Obama 2008.
So you get New York 9 and this district in Nevada.
And in neither case did the Republican winner express any desire to go to Washington and work with the Democrats to solve our mutual problems or to that horse manure.
This is this is all about Obama.
And I'm sure if I search the archives of this program, I I think the Scott Brown election in Masswood was all about Obama.
All of these elections, November 2010, all about Obama.
And the Democrats know it.
And they're flummoxed.
But at the same time, they know that they have been running against the will of the people.
They knew they were going to get shellacked in 2010 in the midterms.
They knew it.
You know why they didn't present a budget?
I'll tell you the real reason they didn't present a budget.
The conventional wisdom is they didn't present a budget because it would harm them at election time when people see how much they wanted to spend and the tax and all that.
No, no.
A Democrat budget is nothing more than which contributors are being paid off and how.com.
I'm telling you, conservatives are swamping that thing.
It's a new Obama tattletale site.
Supposed to report any unfair criticism of Obama, like the employment rate being unemployment rate being 9.1%.
Wise like that.
You're supposed to tell a regime who's saying This stuff.
A regime is supposedly going to send you back information how to argue with these people.
When in fact the regime is collecting your email address.
The regime is also.
Did I print this out?
Yes.
From Business Insider, Obama sends out creepy emails sometime soon.
Can we meet for dinner?
Obama wants you to send five bucks to his website as a campaign contribution for the possibility of winning the opportunity to sit down and have dinner with him.
Today, I want to ask if you'll join me and three other supporters for a meal.
Conversation sometime soon.
Please donate five dollars or more to be automatically entered for a chance to join me for dinner.
If this sounds a bit familiar to you, it's because we've done this before.
In fact, my hope is I'll be able to keep doing these dinners throughout the campaign.
They're a chance for me to talk one-on-one with people like you who are taking ownership of this campaign and connect with the work going on every day in neighborhoods across the country.
These dinners set our campaign apart.
No matter what our opponents do over the next 14 months, dinners like these are how we will continue to put people at the heart of the campaign and prove that we don't need checks from Washington lobbyists or special interest pack money to win an election.
We can do it person to person in our neighborhoods and backyards and over the dinner table and even barbecue pits where deceased husbands are.
That's why I'm asking for your donation today.
I hope you'll take a minute to help build this campaign.
When you do, you'll have a chance to join me for dinner.
Maybe I'll get to thank you in person, signed Barack.
And there's a website.
Donate.barackobama.com slash dinner.
Five bucks is all it takes.
Wants to talk about small business opportunities.
Yeah, these people, I'd five bucks, they probably would rather enter Powerball or Play Lotto.
The odds are better.
And certainly bigger win if you do win.
Okay, let's talk about the Cylindra business for a second.
Remember when it first blew up?
The first thing we heard, of course, well, the first thing was, you know, Obama going out to Cylinder and touting it as being everything this country needed to do for the future.
Renewable energy, solar energy, new jobs, green jobs, clean energy, magical stuff.
Then we read that the place is filing bankruptcy and shutting down eleven hundred employees getting laid off.
Then we learn that the outfit got five hundred and twenty-three billion.
Was it or million?
Did they get half a trillion?
Five hundred million dollars.
It was five hundred and thirty-five million dollars in loan guarantees.
And I said, folks, there's no business there.
Meaning this isn't a viable business.
Solar energy, there isn't a viable business there.
Meaning.
They didn't have any income.
They weren't selling anything.
Remember, the excuse was, well, we can't compete with the Chiccoms.
Can't compete with the Chicoms even with 523 million federal dollars in loan guarantees.
Well.
There's a tweet here from a guy named Greg Pollowitz.
This is next thing to watch in the Cylindra story is an examination of companies announced sales.
I would guess the contracts were all fluff.
Nothing real, no income.
Turns out, this is, of course, my point, and of course there wasn't any income.
There we have a USA Today editorial.
In March of 2010, the accounting firm Price Waterhouse Cooper's issued a standard but stern warning about Sylindra.
The company wasn't making money and never had, which raised substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.
Well, that would make sense if it had never made any money.
It would raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue.
Yet when Obama visited Solindra's plant in Fremont two months after that, he gave a rousing pep talk and declared that the future is here.
Alas, says USA Today, it wasn't.
Cylindra continued to struggle, canceled a planned public stock offering, filed for bankruptcy this month, leaving the U.S. government as its biggest creditor in raising new questions about whether Uncle Sam should be playing venture capitalist.
Despite initial misgivings about the company's viability and energy department program aimed at boosting clean energy projects, had guaranteed a $535 million loan to Sylindra, which produced an innovative but expensive solar panel.
Taxpayers now on the hook for some or most of that money, depending on whether somebody buys the assets.
There aren't any.
Whether Cylindra is just an expensive embarrassment or a full-fledged scandal remains to be seen.
Shortly after the bankruptcy filing, FBI raided headquarters in the homes of the execs.
And today a house oversight panel holds a hearing to probe how the company got the money and whether the administration properly vetted the application.
Well, now the regime, in the form of a guy named Silver, is blaming Bush.
As the congressional hearing on the failed solar energy manufacturer of Cylinder gets underway, it's already clear that the regime is prepared to fall back on a tried and tested strategic read, blaming Bush in prepared testimony.
Released ahead of the hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the director of the Department of Energy's loans office, Jonathan Silver, emphasizes the program that eventually granted a $535 million loan guarantee was created during the Bush administration.
Not only that, Silver said, Cylindra submitted its initial application in 2006, and much of the extensive due diligence on the transaction was conducted between 2006 and the end of 2008.
He said by the time the Obama regime took office in late January 2009, the loan program staff already established a goal of and timeline for issuing the company additional loan guarantee commitment in March of 2009.
So Obama blaming Bush for this, which is not going to help him.
It wasn't Bush that went out there and touted this.
It wasn't Bush that went out there and said this is the future.
It isn't Bush who's making additional loans to other solar energy companies.
Now, let's see.
We have Jim Garrity at National Review Online has put together a little sample of news.
He's compiled here some of the way this has been treated.
And there's an interesting thing here.
I'm not going to read the stories to you.
What this illustrates, we we all Obama and his people are completely clueless when it comes to business.
But folks, I I honestly think that they are also clueless, yet filled with rage, resentment, and envy over people who have money.
Now, the Obama people have no experience in business.
There's nobody in his administration that's ever worked in the private sector on his economic team, for example.
They only know politics and theory and the in the in the faculty lounge, they have no understanding how a business gets its money.
They just I think they look at at the acquisition of all money as somehow corrupt.
And their view is if we just had the money instead of Enron or Exxon, if we had the money instead of big drug, if we had the money, then we, because we are more moral, and we are good liberals and we have good intentions, we will do better things with it.
Because we're not corrupt, but they haven't the slightest clue how it's earned.
They don't think it's earned.
They think that somehow people who have money have stolen it or cheated somebody out of it or something, and so this is get-even time.
Okay, now we're in control of the first strings.
We're going to give ourselves the money.
And then we're going to tax these people who've unfairly gotten the money in the past.
We're going to make them pay for it.
So when it's their turn, like this Cylindra had a CEO and they had business people, and they have a clueless.
It's either that or they're corrupt, and they just got this $523 million, and who knows where it went, building their house.
Who knows?
This is what everybody's trying to find out.
But it's clear that they had no clue or no intention how to run a business.
That this was just probably a scam to get $523 million under the guise of some new all healing, all clean fixing new energy that was supposed to be magical and all this rot gut.
All of this fantasy.
So some people would look at this, okay, well, obviously, Rush, this is just like your money laundering theory.
You know, Obama and public sector union employees and so forth.
And it could well end up being that.
It could also be a bunch of incompetent, arrogant, know-nothing Ivy Leaguers sitting around smoking their doobies and theorizing about how much better they would do things if they were in charge because they've got all the answers.
And they memorized everything in the MBA textbook.
And they get everybody else in the business world is corrupt and they're clean and pure as the wind driven snow.
Sort of like if they're in charge, if they have the money, then all will work out.
Everything will be fine.
So it translates further into liberals believing that anybody who does have money has not earned it.
They just came by it unfairly.
And that creates the resentment for it.
And then the desire to redistribute it and take it away from them via taxes.
Or their ideology is simply government power, take all wealth you can, put as much of it in the government to distribute to your buddies and cronies.
It's a combination of all of this.
But we cannot dismiss the fact that they're clueless as well.
They are arrogant, condescending, clueless, know nothing.
People who think that they're the smartest people in the room.
They haven't the slightest understanding.
Obama does not know the first thing about turning a profit.
Doesn't know the first thing about a balance of the law sheet.
It doesn't care, doesn't know.
Just none of these people do.
And they have resentment for people who do understand it.
And their explanation is those people are corrupt.
Nobody can legitimately get that much money, fairly enough.
It's not possible.
I got to take a break.
Be right back.
Now it's a very neat trick for the regime to try to blame Bush for Cylindra.
But where'd Cylindra get its money?
Cylindra got stimulus money, folks.
Stimulus money.
The first stimulus is where this $523 million came from, and it's gone.
Somebody got and used that money, and there was not a business here.
There was no income in this business.
But somebody got that money.
These execs were living in nice houses and driving nice cars.
Somebody got the money, and that was not Bush.
These executives from Celinda met with Obama officials at the White House, not with Bush.
They could have canceled it.
The regime could have canceled it.
This Mr. Silver guy who Prepared statement today.
They could have canceled it if they didn't like it, but they didn't cancel it, did they?
They pushed Cylindra.
They micromanaged Cylindra.
They funded it with stimulus money, and they exploited it for political purposes.
They went out there, they said Obama out there said it's the future.
You want to hear something funny?
The Obama American Jobs Act has still not been filed.
So Louis Gomert, Republican Texas, did.
Louis Gomert wrote his own bill.
He put together a jobs bill that takes the corporate tax rate to zero, for example.
He dropped the bill there today, nabbing that he called it the American's Job Act.
He took Obama's title and put it on his own bill because there still is not a the Democrats have not put that bill into play in the House.
So Obama has apparently lost the title of his bill.
Welcome back, my foot friends.
It's El Rushbow serving humanity, focusing on the important stuff each and every day.
Now, this Cylindra business, Obama and the Democrats are now claiming that they were misled, that they were duped on the half billion dollar Cylindra loan.
They were duped.
The Cylindra executives refused to appear before Congress today.
Republicans let them stay home since they're so busy working their bankruptcy.
You imagine the Democrats letting executives from a Republican company off the hook?
But the Republicans say, okay, if you don't want to show up, don't show up.
Meanwhile, Obama and the Democrats are saying they got duped on the half billion dollar Cylinder loan.
Now, aren't these the same damn people?
Obama and the Democrats.
Aren't these the same people who want us to squander billions of taxpayer dollars on combating man-made global warming?
If if this bunch of clowns from Cylindra could dupe them.
Who the hell else has been duping them?
Vice President Bight Me was supposed to be in charge of vetting the porculus money.
He was a player in the Cylindra announcement.
Remember, nobody messes with Joe.
You know, Obama's a classic illustration, folks.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and he is therefore the most dangerous man in every room he walks into.
In addition to being the least qualified.
I don't care who's in the room, he's the least qualified.
And now he's the least knowledgeable, and that means he's the most dangerous.
This is they dupe.
They dupe me.
I mean, they lied to me.
They told me they well.
Do you think maybe some of the other crap you believe you've been duped on?
Mr. President.
Like how to create jobs.
It may be Jeremia Wright or Frank Marshall Davis or your dad or some of your professors at Harvard might have duped you.
Really, that's a hell of a thing to admit.
We got duped by Cylindra.
They didn't get duped.
They exploited this.
They tried to use this for big-time political advantage.
Here's a story from the Washington Post Cylindra loan.
White House pressed on review of Solar Company now under investigation.
And this is a story about the emails that went back and forth.
And these emails show that the White House pushed for this loan.
It wasn't Cylindra coming in and begging.
The White House pushed for it, not Bush.
And again, it's stimulus money that Cylindra got.
Hell these stories keep going political.
White House pushed on Cylindra.
Just like and this whole Cylindra story, it fits very nicely, folks, with Obama housing policies and the entire lack of integrity that's put us in this current financial mess.
Let's see, was it Cylinder execs to skip Wednesday hearing.
Skip probably the exact right word.
This is also in Politico.
Can you see Pelosi or Barney Frank giving a pass?
In fact, no.
Wasn't it Henry Nostralitis Waxman who wanted all these uh uh companies who were having to uh change their health care laws or procedures uh because of Obamacare.
He demanded emails and appearances in front of his committee until he found out they were just abiding the law or obeying the law.
Green companies that get taxpayer money are no different than public sector unions who have their dues deducted from their paychecks by the government and sent to union leaders, which then ends up back in the Democrat Party.
I I don't know what this is.
I uh it's a combination of incompetence and and uh uh uh scandal, I think.
Uh uh.
Whatever it is, people don't want any more of it.
Now, from the Daily Caller.
Despite Sylindra's abrupt closing and bankruptcy announcement last month, the Department of Energy is undeterred.
Just this month, they made two more loan guarantees worth millions of dollars to alternative energy firms.
And as was the case with Solindra, officials and investors with the two new companies have strong financial ties to President Barack Obama.
On September 7, the DOE announced its plans to guarantee 80% or $275 million of a $344 million private loan taken out by the firm Solar City.
The chairman of Solar City, Elon Musk, is a major financial supporter of the president on April 15th of this year.
He donated $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund.
He also gave an additional five grand to the Obama campaign.
Like Sylindra officials, White House visitor logs show that this guy visited the administration at least four times since 2009.
The second company is Solexel.
On September 2nd, this company announced a $13 million award from the DOE as part of a program to make solar energy systems more affordable for homeowners.
Selexil is financially backed by venture capitalist Steve Westley in 2008.
Westley bundled for Obama's campaign, bringing in more than $500,000.
Westley also served as a California co-chair, was a member of the National Finance Committee for the Obama for America campaign.
And he's added again for the president's 2012 reelection campaign.
So far, he has bundled between $100 and $200,000.
His companies have received millions in stimulus dollars from the regime.
The Wesley Group's portfolio includes Tesla Motors, which got a $465 million loan in 2009, Amiris Biotech, which got more than $24 million, and Logos Technologies, which received $20 million in DOE loans.
Since Cylindra closed its doors on August 31st, new revelations have had onlookers questioning whether the Department of Energy should have made the loan guarantee in the first place.
Then there's another one.
U.S. Energy Department hopes that a new solar energy project will result in about 900 construction and permanent operations jobs.
This story's from yesterday.
Energy Secretary Stephen Chu said today that his department had finalized a 1.2 billion dollar loan guarantee to Mojave Solar for the development of the Mojave Solar Project.
Four of them here.
After Solyndra goes bankrupt.
After Solyndra goes bankrupt.
The department's issued loans, loan guarantees or offered conditional commitments for loan guarantees, totaling 40 billion dollars.
But there's a problem with the Mojave Desert Solar Plant.
The regime has halted the building of two-thirds of a massive solar project in the Mojave Desert as a new federal assessment found that more than 600 endangered desert Tortoises would die as a result of construction.
So the regime has been shut down in their effort to build a solar plant in Mojave Desert because of a turtle.
U.S. Bureau of Land Management assessment this week disputed the estimate by Bright Source Energy developer, blah, blah, blah, that only 38 of the reptiles would be disturbed.
It looks like 600 of them would kit would die.
So solar power would kill tortoises.
But in this c this is yet another solar company, Bright Source, they got 1.6 billion dollars in loan guarantees.
We want to start adding this up.
There's five solar energy companies here with over a million point six.
A billion, 1.6 billion dollars in loan guarantees from the regime.
And many of them are continued to be funded after Cylindra closes its doors.
Now there is no there can be no doubt here that there is a something scandalous about this in addition, because you got campaign bundlers, donors.
This is Clinton-esque.
I can't believe it.
Thank you.
And yes, it's true from the Heritage Foundation.
President Obama repeatedly asked members of Congress to pass the American Jobs Act last week.
But before he delivered the details, Louis Gomert has swiped the name for his own legislation.
That bill that he's out there waving around and talking about and demanding to be passed, folks, no Democrat has offered it.
It still has it has not, the terminology is dropped.
It has not dropped on the House floor.
So Louis Gomert put together a two-page jobs bill, which essentially eliminates the corporate tax.
It repeals the corporate income taxes two pages long, and he calls it the American Jobs Act.
So Obama, little Barry's lost the name of his bill.
This is hilarious.
This is, you know, and the Republican established, you know, no, we want to work with the president.
I imagine House leadership not pleased with Louis Gormart over this.
This is not the way we play it.
We take ourselves very seriously here in House Representative.
By the way, Obama has not sent to Congress all of those trade bills he keeps demanding they pass either.
So let's look at it.
No budget, no jobs bill, and no trades bills.
He didn't, the the jobs bill is not, it doesn't exist, folks.
It's not been submitted.
The trade bills he keeps touting, not there.
And they still haven't written a budget.
Now I've got to take a break.
I'm going to report Louis Gormart at AttackWatch.com right now.
Who's next in the program?
This is Melissa in uh Newark, Delaware.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Hi.
Hi, Ash.
It's great to talk with you.
Thank you very much.
I'm an American Israeli.
And uh I'm I'm very happy today because in my mind, this is a great day for America for Israel with Turner's win in New York.
This is just a wonderful day.
And um, I wanted to raise a related point to the subject about Obama's popularity that nobody's really talking about.
I mean, there are always reports, you know, about how Obama compares to other presidents at specific intervals of his presidency.
Yeah.
But the real tell here is that his poll numbers have been consistently dropping after only six months of being in the White House.
That's an excellent point.
It was a slow trickle, and now it's speeding up.
Right, because, and you know, here's the thing.
It shows how really unpopular he has been on a consistent basis.
It was as if the novelty of his election wore off really quickly.
Like hoping change turned into doing womb.
No, that's only six months after becoming president.
That's that's exactly right.
The historical nature of his presidency and uh the the Messiah characteristics, all that stuff started evaporating pretty soon because people did a lot of people had those unrealistic fantasy utopian expectations and dreams.
And Obama nor anybody else can deliver utopia because there is no such place.
So, Melissa, I'm glad you called.
I appreciate it.
Sadly, my friends, I must take a timeout.
We said I said months ago, any Republican who ran on the promise to undo everything Obama has done would win.
I told a Heritage Foundation gathering that the reason Trump is resonating is because he's going right after Obama.
