Okay, Mike, Rept Audio Submit number 13, and uh maybe in order from that point.
Greetings and welcome back.
Great to have you with us on the EIB network.
El Rush Bow, this the most listened to radio talk show in the country where we meet and surpass all audience expectations every day.
You know, we go through all this news today.
We listen to Obama speak.
All these policies.
And what's really maddening about it is Obama and his thinking represents 20% of the population.
According to the latest polls, 20% of the country identify themselves as liberals.
Over 40% identify themselves as conservatives, and there's a bunch of moderates and independents in there.
We're being run by a very, very small minority which happens to have the media on its size, on its side.
And there's an interesting story which made me ponder all of this.
In the Washington Post today, Democrats digging harder than ever for dirt on Republicans.
Why?
Well, because their ideas are so unpalatable to people.
I mean Democrat ideas.
This is all they've got.
They have to go out and do opposition research.
They have to dig up dirt.
They have to tell lies about Republicans.
Sarah Palin, you name it.
Because there's no support for any of their ideas out there.
It's the only tactic the Democrats have left to them.
It's very clear that Democrat ideas are not liked or supported by the majority of voters in this country.
A Democrat Party moving faster and more aggressively than in previous election years to dig up unflattering details about Republican challengers.
In house races from Jersey to Ohio to California, Democrat operatives are seizing on evidence of Republican candidates' unpaid income taxes, property tax breaks, and ties to financial firms that receive taxpayer bailout money.
In recent weeks, a Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee has circulated information to local reporters about a Republican candidate in close races.
Among the claims, and it lists some.
I'm not going to dignify it.
Now, the reason that this is being done is because they have no way to win elections on their ideas.
Zilch, zero nada.
They cannot run on anything Obama has done.
It sounds like there is a wide open, vast left-wing conspiracy to engage in the politics of personal destruction because they can't win a debate on any issue.
They can't go to the polls and say, Do you like what Obama's doing?
Then you gotta re-elect Democrats to make sure we can keep going.
They can't say that.
They're dead if they do that.
You like what Obama's doing?
The answer's no.
Over 60% of the American people would say no, we don't like what he's doing.
And so we gotta go out, and we got a George Allen Macaca, everybody.
We got a Tom or uh uh uh Mark Foley, every Republican that we can.
We gotta go out and find all this dirt on him, with of course the aid and assistance of those in the state-controlled media.
One of the guys, John Runyon, who is a former offensive tackle, Philadelphia Eagles, is running for Congress in New Jersey.
He got a legal break in property taxes for his 25-acre homestead by qualifying for a farmland assessment thanks to his four donkeys.
This is supposedly a scandal.
Sam Donaldson got all kinds of scan of of uh of subsidies like this when he owned his ranch or still does.
Wherever it is, New Mexico.
David Harmer, California received 160,000 in bonus and severance pay from a firm that got a federal bailout.
What the hell?
This is Trump change compared to the scandal and the corruption that is on display each and every day from this regime on down to members of Congress.
But yet, we gotta go dig up the dirt.
We gotta make sure that people find out about this.
This is another, it's it's a testament to how little the Democrats have to offer.
They have absolutely they can't run on the greatness of health care.
They can't run on the stimulus, they can't run on the economy, they can't run on job creation.
They cannot run on anything.
There's nothing good happening.
But all they can do is blame it all on Bush, which will backfire on them at some point.
People have forgotten.
People live in the moment.
George Bush is not personally despised and hated, so blaming him for all this, which is not accurate anyway, is not going to carry the day.
So they have to go out and engage in the politics of personal destruction.
Investors business daily, every year.
The annual report of the Social Security Board of Trustees comes out between mid-April and mid-May.
Now it's July, and there's no sign of this year's report.
Why?
What is the Obama administration hiding?
Here's a quote from the story.
The implications for Social Security aren't what the Obama administration is hiding by delaying the annual trustee reports.
Those annual reports also include information regarding Medicare over the next 75 years.
What the administration is trying to hide are sweeping draconian cuts to Medicare resulting from Obamacare legislation, which the annual report would document, but they're not putting it out.
I think the question is a little misleading.
What are they hiding?
The question is what aren't they hiding?
The question is, what is genuine?
The question is with this administration, what is upfront?
What is honest?
What is real?
Not much.
They can't tell us what's real.
There'd be a revolt.
They have to lie.
So Congressional Budget Office reported last week in its uh long-term budget outlook.
Social Security was already running a deficit this year.
According to last year's trustee report, that was not supposed to happen till 2015.
The trust fund to run out completely by 2037.
So we are five years ahead of the Social Security Trust Fund running in deficit.
So an overdue report is concealing Obamacare's impact on Medicare.
They're not passing a budget, are they?
They're going to deem a budget passed.
They're not going to any way, shape, manner, or form engage in a budget in Congress.
They're not going to have a debate.
They're not going to have hearings.
They don't want people to know how much they're going to spend and what the dire circumstances of our fiscal situation is or are.
And there's this from the LA Times.
It's a blog, two new polls.
Augur ill for President Obama and his fellow Democrats who run Congress.
The worst is from Gallup, finds it for the first time since Obama took office.
His support among independents has fallen below 40%.
That's a key voter segment in his coalition.
It gave him victory in 2008.
Only 38% of independents now support him.
That's an 18-point drop from a year ago.
That's when polls first began showing the nation's rapidly growing population of independent voters peeling off.
Collectively, only 46% of Americans approve of the president's job performance, just one point above his worst approval of 45%.
Obama's approval has not been above 50% since February.
Now, this is not in the paper.
This is not in the LA Times.
It's on their blog on the website.
It is not published.
And by the way, as I have been predicting for months and months and months, this is from USA Today.
Up to 400,000 workers could lose their jobs in the next year as states, counties, and cities grapple with lower revenue and less federal funding.
This, according to Mark Zandy, the chief economist from Moody's Economy.com.
And the pain is likely to worsen.
States face a cumulative 140 billion dollar budget gap in fiscal 2011, which began July 1st.
Meanwhile, federal aid is shrinking money for states from the economic stimulus expected to fall by $55 billion.
And even if Congress extends Medicaid subsidies, Moody's expects 325,000 job cuts the next year.
This has been on the horizon.
This there's no question the early stimulus money was used to prop up all these union jobs and state state, city, Local whatever jobs.
And only 48% of the stimulus has been spent.
But sorry, states and cities, the rest is deserved or reserved for Obama and the Democrats and their re-election campaigns.
You are SOL.
Up next, and don't rule this out as bailing them out.
And don't rule out bailing out the states.
Obama would love it.
We'll be back.
Stay with us.
All right, back to the phones we go.
We're going to start uh this hour in Indianapolis.
John, I'm glad you waited.
You're next on the Rush Limbaugh program.
Hi.
Hello, sir.
Yet another shocking and then stunning and informative program.
Thank you very much, sir.
I appreciate that.
Okay, great.
Uh, with the Gulf thing, the Kagan thing, the Arizona thing, and all the Department of Justice infinity of absurdity, I like to talk to you about your favorite topic and mine, climate gate.
Yes.
Yes, I've got we've got all the emails that Phil Jones wrote.
They're all diabolically untrue.
They are clear in their effort to mislead, to obfuscate, to hide evidence and so forth.
He's been cleared.
He's been cleared by his peers, and he's going to be reinstated as head of the climate research unit at Hadley.
Well, how is it that you think that now and only now that uh the scientists, Mr. Jones, and their findings are given a pass, and all is basically being reset to where the lie uh originally oriented itself.
Uh what what's what's the question?
Well, I just think it's stunning that, you know.
They're just given a pass.
It's like they're they're being cleaned asleep.
Oh, the winds or snow.
Why why are you surprised that they would give themselves a pass?
Well, because um I think that after November, the first Tuesday in November.
Uh These are Brits.
No, wait a second.
These are Brits.
These are Brits.
They they don't care.
See, the what the issue is not global warming and being accurate about it.
This is politics.
This is about expanding government.
This is about telling people what they can and can't do.
It's about blaming people for something that isn't happened or isn't happening.
This is not about being credible on global warming.
It's about creating a hoax and being able to get away with it for other reasons.
I exactly.
Those are other reasons to be after the first Tuesday in November, but I think it's going to be a blitzkrieg on the American people of unwanted legislation.
You know.
Um, you know, out of spite, we will do unto you and you will do unto us.
I believe that's unconstitutional.
Okay, well, I yeah, no question.
I I I think there's going to be a blitzkrieg.
Uh, and I I it's it's it's gonna be it's gonna be massive.
There's uh there's no question about it.
But they don't care.
If they cared, they'd introduce something about it.
They don't really and I'm not I'm not talking about the the climate gate people.
I'm talking about the Democrats and liberals in general.
This is their chance.
They're ramming through as much as they can.
They're lying and they're having their peers confirm the lies.
Uh all the there's it's just an alternative reality and universe.
There is no there is no reality.
Do I do I think what will?
Uh the question has been positive posed.
Do I think the climate gate people will regain stature?
Um a tough question because I don't know how widespread it is that they've lost any stature.
Remember now we have two or three media or mediums, and the mainstream media, people in that audience have no idea that it's a hoax.
It's never been reported.
The Michael Mann Phil Jones stuff, it's never been reported.
Al Gore has not suffered one aspect of embarrassment over this.
Not one.
I mean, there's as far as the mainstream media audience is concerned, global warming is as real as ever.
And of course, with it hitting 1045 in New York today and Baltimore and Washington, yeah, there's global warming out there.
So uh the the question is not will they regain their credibility, but have they ever lost it?
Have they lost it with teachers?
No.
The teachers in school still teaching global warming?
Right, they are.
They ignored the truth because the truth is not what's mat what's important here.
The agenda item and where it takes us is what's important.
So as far as the the people who believe in global warming, there hasn't been any change.
These guys have not lost any credibility.
There's no credibility to regain.
In England.
Yeah, the polls say that fewer people in England are believing in global warming.
It's not going to stop these people.
I mean, only 20% of the American people support what Obama's doing, but is it stopping him from doing it?
The left is relentless.
The left is who it is.
They are who they are, and they are dishonest as they can be.
And trying to deal with them the same way you would deal with one of your recalcitrant children is not going to work.
I mean, we're dealing with true, evil, diabolic deviousness here.
We're not dealing with people...
We're not on the same page.
We don't have the same objectives.
They're concerned with what they want.
They're concerned with their agenda being underrupted.
I mean, if they if they're willing to lie about everything to advance their agenda, what's this little burp?
They've been reinstated.
Michael Mann, Phil Jones.
There was nothing there.
They've been reinstated.
It peers have put them back in there.
It's it's the Muslims are not our enemy.
Conservatives are.
I mean, no, no matter where you look, it's uh I'm I'm telling you that wherever you go in the in how you think Hollywood's gonna stop making global warming movies?
Do you think Hollywood actors are gonna stop preaching whatever they're preaching on global warming?
They're not.
They're gonna ignore this.
It's a little blip.
Some of these Hollywood people may not even know this controversy happened.
Hadn't been reported anywhere but here and in the so-called conservative media.
So in a lot of places, these people haven't even lost their credibility, and if they did lose it temporarily, they got it back because the people who reviewed them are people who are thought to be unchallengeable in terms of credentials and honor further additional academics.
And as we know, academics don't lie.
Here's uh here's Rebecca, Cincinnati.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Great to have you here.
Well, I just wanted to ask you a question.
Uh, since we had an ex-president over the weekend, Bill Clinton, say that uh when he excused Senator Burke's um fleeting association with the KKK, and he said that the end just to modify the means.
Uh, where does that kind of think end?
I mean, if you run on a democratic ticket, are you really a Democrat?
And are you really telling us the truth about health care and Arizona and the oil spill and and the well again?
This points up another opportunity to explain what's important.
What Bill Clinton said about Robert Bird, and I mean, I I remember playing the soundbite last week from the from the memorial.
You know, poor old Bob Bird.
There he lies in that casket.
He grew up in the hills in the hollers of West Virginia.
And we all know what was going on at the time.
He made a mistake.
He got tired of fleeting, a fleeting flirtation with the Klu Klux Klan.
And he spent the rest of his life making it.
But he had to do it.
He had to get elected.
He's doing what he had to do to get elected.
He's doing it for you.
He joined the Klan for you.
He joined the Klan for everybody that lives in West Virginia.
He had to get elected to do great things in the civil rights movement.
He had to do great things in Washington.
And in order to do that, he had to join the Klan, and he spent the rest of his life making up for it.
Now that's what defines a great person.
Well, no more crapper of BS has ever been labled at a funeral memorial than that.
Well, what was the point?
What was the point of pointing?
Yeah, we had to do it.
He did it for you.
He joined the Klan for you so he could eventually go to Washington and do all these great things.
Like what?
Well, he voted for health care.
He voted for every item, item in the Obama agenda.
Every one of them.
He Even sacrificed his great reverence for Senate tradition in order to support the Obama agenda.
So of course he's going to be given a pass.
Because all that counts is the left wing agenda.
Whoever advances, you could be a murderer.
If Charles Manson voted for Obama and supported the agenda, he would be granted parole tomorrow.
And Clinton would show up at the parole hearing and say, yeah, he murdered a bunch of people, but he was just trying to advance our agenda.
Yeah, he went out there, he had that little, he had a fleeting flirtation with murder.
He did went out there sharing Tate and so forth, but he was doing it for you.
Because Charles Manson knew the threat posed to this country by people like George Bush and Ronald Reagan or Rush Limbaugh.
So yeah, a fleeting flirtation with murder.
Bob Byrd, yeah, he recruited members for the Klan.
He was a clickle.
He didn't just recruit members, he started his own chapter.
But he did what he had to do, because he had to get elected for you.
So he could bring all that home bacon back to West Virginia, get 30 buildings named after him.
His own self.
I dare say, uh, ladies and gentlemen, that if Osama bin Laden were to come out and support universal health care and so forth, we would suspend the search.
It's I uh look, I may be using some extreme examples.
My point here, I'm trying to impress upon you just how important the advancement of the leftist agenda is and how without honor and integrity they are in pursuing it.
The ends justify that you're exactly right.
Because the left wing agenda is decent and moral and honest, and we are evil and evil, you can do anything to destroy, even join the Klan.
Let me see if I can illustrate this in another way.
You know about Al Gore and uh global warming.
Let me let me tell you something.
Al Gore's reputation on global warming, if it's damaged at all, is far more damaged because of a MSU than because of the lies he's told in his movie.
Because the hoax that is his movement.
He is far, if he's damaged at all, the Masseuse did it, not the emails, and not the uh the hoaxers and the scam artists in the global warming movement, of which he is one.
Uh it's, you know, trying to reason with these people is like trying to reason with a suicide bomber.
I mean, that's the level of commitment that we're talking about here.
If you're on a bus in Jerusalem and you see somebody unzip the vest and you see the bombs, you don't start negotiating.
You run for the hills.
You get the hell off the bus.
So, you know, trying trying to negotiate with uh with these committed uh leftists, Obama people.
Waste of time.
They are to be defeated.
They are not to be uh gotten along with, if I hate that phrase, metal block.
They're not people to have friendly relationships with.
I mean, you don't have to be unfriendly, but the whole the point's not to get along with these people.
It's not to form a compromise.
There's no compromise with these people.
How the hell do you compromise with evil?
How do you compromise with people who are dead wrong?
How do you compromise with people who want to destroy what has made the country great?
Where is the compromise there?
Why would anybody want to compromise with a media who has made it clear that their whole purpose is to destroy any opposition?
Where do you compromise with that?
These people have to be defeated.
Not reasoned with.
You can't reason with them.
They're not animated by reason.
They're animated by a religious zealotry commitment to their sick, destructive agenda.
Bill Ayers.
He had a fleeting flirtation with blowing things up.
He now runs education in Illinois.
Levi Johnson must have been listening to Bill Clinton.
Levi Johnson finally apologized to um Sarah Palin chalked it up to his youthful indiscretion, just like Robert Bird had a youthful fleeting with the with the Klan.
And Levi Johnson, I don't know what got into him, but he felt that he had to come up with some reason to explain all the vicious lies he told about Sarah Palin and her family.
But he's done yet.
And by the way, he did it in People Magazine.
So he's still a fame whore.
So in addition to apologizing, old Levi Johnson still wants the fame.
No, of having done the right thing in the midst of a youthful indiscretion.
How charming.
How wonderful.
Who's next?
Matt Sonora, California.
Welcome to the EIB network, sir.
Great to have you here.
Uh thank you very much, Rush.
Congratulations on your uh new marriage to your beautiful wife.
Thank you, sir, very much.
Hey, I've been waiting uh eighteen years to talk to you.
I've been listening since 1992 when I was living in Roanoke, Virginia, and um I am now a brand new city councilman in Sonora, California, and I used a whole lot of your advice that you had talked about uh running.
And not only did uh I you know I ran obviously as a conservative, um, but I got a lot of the Democratic support here also.
Way to go, sir.
This is the essence of grassroots.
This is how it happens.
Yeah, yes, and I you know, it took a lot of hard work.
Um I ran against two incumbents and one guy who's a fairly liberal guy, a very nice guy, by the way, but um I uh I overwhelmingly won the vote.
Uh there were two spots open, and I got the top spot.
Um, and it was all because I went out there and told people, you know, told the voters the way it was.
Why I got the majority of the support.
Why did you want to run for city council?
What's what's wrong in Sonora that you needed to fix?
There's nothing wrong in Sonora, believe it or not.
I mean, obviously the theory.
Come on, come on, it's in California.
There's got to be something wrong with it.
That was the next part I was getting to, which is the raw the problem with Sonora isn't Sonora, it's the state of California.
And um, you know, it I mean, you you know, you hear about all the budget cuts and how we're, you know, in the whole so many billions of dollars.
Well, the city of Sonora's been very well run for twenty years, but there's nobody my generation there, which I'm thirty years old.
I've been listening to you since I was twelve.
And um I uh I said that's it.
It's time for some uh generation Xer to be in office.
And uh I got a lot of support, I outraised them uh money wise, and um I just kept kept fighting.
All right, let me ask you let me ask you a couple of questions out there, uh uh Matt.
How what's the population of Sonora?
Uh it's a little less than five thousand people.
Little less than five thousand people.
Uh is the police force unionized.
Uh yeah, everything's unionized in California.
All right.
What's the pension situation for the uh the police force and the fireman uh and so forth?
Are you in good shape?
I know they've got pensions and a Vallejo is if they haven't probably gonna fire uh file bankruptcy.
What's your pension situation with your public employees?
You know, to be completely honest with you, I don't know the whole situation.
Well, you're gonna find out pretty soon.
Uh very, very soon.
You will find whatever no, no, no.
Whatever the situation is, you're going to find it out pretty soon.
Uh because this is the challenge every community has, be it a city, a town, a state, or what have you.
Uh is the is the unfunded pension liabilities and the retirement pay and so forth.
I mean, you're you know, you you you're you're gonna have uh a lot of challenges uh because public employees expect to retire at age 45 and be paid pretty much the rest of their lives, so forth, and and if economic circumstances are such the town can't afford it, that's where you come in.
Exactly.
And it's it's not gonna be an easy job.
We're we're definitely more business friendly than say somebody in the Bay Area or a city in the Bay Area, Vallejo you brought up.
Um, you know, we're we're up in the mountains.
I I'm sure you've been out here close to it uh since you uh started out in Sacramento.
Um but uh no, it's it's a very interesting situation that's going on in this state, and I I personally believe that the state's gonna go bankrupt.
Um I I don't see how the state could keep up all the spending.
I mean, you can only tax so much till people just finally say, nope, no more taxes.
Yeah, I know.
Except we've been saying that for decades.
Yes, yes.
And they keep paying the taxes.
Some people keep leaving.
You didn't.
You moved in.
Yes, yeah, I I moved in from Virginia.
I Opportunity knocked out here, and then I met my beautiful wife, and next thing you know, three kids later.
Let me ask you something.
When you lived in Virginia, were you ever, did you ever think you had to join a clan in order to get elected in California?
Uh if I wanted to be killed.
Yeah.
Well, I'm just checking.
I just wanted to chronicle how things may have changed.
Oh, man, that's the biggest budget.
Isn't that amazing I've ever heard?
Well, Matt, good luck to you.
Thank you, sir.
Good luck to your.
You bet.
Congratulations.
Um, that's how it happens.
You've been reading about um people.
iTunes was hacked.
iTunes has been not very many accounts, but iTunes.
Oh, less than one percent.
Less than one percent, but but a lot of people's account information was made visible to other people.
And you heard about this in a lot of different places.
iTunes is just the latest exam.
Not a major problem, and they've got it fixed.
But the point is it happened.
These are hackers.
And they're very sophisticated.
Sophisticated hackers, however, are um.
In fact, it was it was hacked by a uh a guy who writes apps for the app store.
iTunes was hacked by an apps writer.
So and the sophisticated hacker, no question, but these guys are not the only ones gaining access to sensitive data in the uh in the internet.
A large amount of personal information is being left exposed or poorly protected by companies and by governments.
The number of identity theft victims in the U.S. jumped 12% to eleven point one million people in 2009, according to the latest research.
Now, that's a 11 million people have had their identities stolen.
And the number is increasing.
But you can make sure, or you can you you can take steps to make sure that you're not gonna be one of this increasing number of people.
The answer is life lock.
Life lock seriously has the best identity alert system on the market.
If somebody tries to steal your identity, it is discovered in the process.
You are told before it happens, because you are called.
And you're asked some questions.
Somebody's stolen your identity, trying to access with your credit card information, you get a phone call.
That's how life lock works.
Now, LifeLock has competitors.
Some of these competitors actually sell the information they get, not to other identity theft companies, but just like magazine subscription people.
Who knows?
Life lock doesn't.
Now, nobody is going to ever successfully stop all identity theft.
But a lot of it can be stopped, and particularly a lot of it if people are signed up as customers of LifeLock.
There's no other outfit to go with.
They protect your information, but they don't sell it.
And it's ridiculously inexpensive.
The number to call is 800-440-4833, and you'll save 10% off the already ridiculously low price simply by mentioning the promo code Rush.
800 440-4833.
That's the number at LifeLock.
Call now and use my name.
I said, No, just please tell them to pronounce and spell my name correctly.
I have I have no other comment.
I stand but I have no other comment on my comment.
I said what I said.
Just make sure you pronounce the name right and spell it correctly.
Uh okay, welcome back.
Here we go to Ralph in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Ralph, welcome to the EIB network, sir.
Thank you, Rosh.
I'm a big fan, but frankly, I'm a little disappointed in you.
I think you're being unusually harsh on King Shabbaz.
I know he's from the hills and hollers of Western Pennsylvania.
You know how those people are.
He's just saying what he needs to remain king.
You mean the new sounds so so young in the tape?
Uh I think it's just a youthful indiscretion in the NASA thing.
You don't want them reaching out to the Muslim world and getting the blueprints for the mothership.
Yeah, well, that's all well and good, but when you start killing crackers, the Muslims aren't gonna know what you mean.
Yeah, but rush, you can tell from the tape.
It's just a youthful indiscretion.
Come on.
Well, let's go back and listen to the tape.
Let me uh what is what sound by this is number nine?
Cut cut eleven.
Here we go.
This is uh King Samir Shabbaz in 2009 in Philadelphia is a new Black Panther Party chapter leader, uh said this about white people.
I hate white people.
All of them.
Every last iota of a cracker Haiti.
You want freedom?
You're gonna have to kill some crackers.
You're gonna have to kill some of these babies.
Now you think I'd be too hard on King here that uh, yes, and I'm a cracker.
Well, you you may have a point.
Uh you youthful indiscretion, he's doing what he has to do to stay king, is basically what you think.
Exactly.
He wants to remain king.
Come on.
What you're a king.
Don't you want to remain the king?
Well, I don't look at myself as a king.
Other people have uh have have made that distinction.
I don't.
But I look at you that way, my friend.
Well, I appreciate it.
I appreciate it, I really do.
But uh you may you have a point here.
Um you you do have a point.
And that's the thing.
And he is trying to well, no question he's trying to further the Obama agenda uh by making sure that only certain people vote at the polling place.
So, yeah, yeah, you have uh you normally it is I, your host who catches these things, but uh uh I have to give you credit.
You you did you did the job I used to do on my own without being uh being prompt in there helped.
Right, bro.
All right.
Thank you, Ralph.
Here's Judy in uh in Warren, Michigan.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Nice to have you with us.
Hi, Rush.
I'm a first-time caller, listen to you for a long time, and thanks for all you do.
Um I just wanted to say that one of the things I think is a problem in the country is too many people have their heads in the sand and feel totally disconnected from the trouble in the Gulf and the trouble with the unprotected borders.
It's like I I think a lot of people feel it's not really affecting me, and they don't realize how it is.
I don't know.
See, in I've given a story here in the stack.
Here let me write right here.
This is Rhode Island.
Uh Rhode Island's state trooper Nunio Vasconcelos was patrolling I-95 a few months ago when he came upon a two-car accident and heavy traffic.
He pulled up, he stepped out of the cruiser, asked one of the drivers for his license, man said he didn't have one under questioning, confessed he was illegal, they deported him.
In Rhode Island, they deport them.
Very good.
In Massachusetts, they do not.
But the point is, I I think that all over the country people are fed up with this.
You're just not seeing it because the media is not reporting it.
Well, the one thing, Rush, I'd like your listeners to really think about, you know, really step back and think about what would happen if Mexico and Canada change places.
If the territory of Mexico actually took up the provinces of Canada, and we had Mexican not Mexicans, but uh Mexico on that whole northern border.
Then maybe they would feel like, wait a minute, you know, this would affect me.
But I think because, you know, Mexico's way down there, and they're thinking, well, let the southern states do, you know, let the border states deal with it.
But just think about if the two countries change places and we had Mexico on our northern border.
Well then maybe a lot of people would wake up and say, Well, yeah, you know, that would affect me.
Why?
Because they're coming from the north.
Well, because you've got to be.
I just wait a minute, wait a minute.
I don't mean to be argumentative, but I just cited Rhode Island.
Close to Canada.
They deport them.
Right.
Right.
But I'm telling you.
They don't give them in state tuition to the state university.
But I'm talking about just a lot of people in the United States that don't really realize the effect of the illegal immigrants.
Uh, okay.
Well, all I can tell you is the overwhelming polling data from across the country is Arizona is supported.
Thirteen states are considering adopting Arizona's law.
Uh I I think I think the people of the country are far more up to speed on all of these things than you think.
You just don't see the evidence of it.
You just don't see it.
Back after this.
But it's there.
Don't doubt me.
Now we keep hearing from people who on one issue or another say, I don't think people get it.
I don't think people understand just how bad it is.
I I must respectfully uh disagree.
I have my finger to the pulse of this country.
I folks, I am telling you, the people of this country are weeweed up.
Remember that?
They are weeweed up.
Arizona could turn out to be the Alamo and Fort Sumter, all rolled into one.
Just be patient and wait for November.
But we are all wee-weed up.
