Time Text
You know, it's it's fascinating to watch this stuff, the oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
As I think I I think I've figured out what's going on here.
This is this story.
I've I've I've been slandered.
I have been libeled.
I've been out and out lied about character assassination, but I have never had it done so feebly, so incompetently.
I mean, Christine, if you're gonna rip me, do a good job of it.
You don't have two paragraphs about how I'm spreading lies, and the rest of the story is how I'm right.
It's just incredible.
This is about this Cox News story said that Cheney and George Will and I spread rumors about Cubans drilling for oil in the Gulf with the Russians and the Angolans and the Vietnamese.
It's not true, but it's it's about to become true.
It's about to become true.
And in fact, the the Wall Street Journal, Cuban drilling poses new threat to Florida beaches.
Maria Ritter, a spokeswoman for the Spanish oil company Repsol said it plans to drill off Cuba about 60 miles south of Key West early next year.
If successful, it would kick off a spate of new exploration.
Now get this, the United States controls coastal waters up to 200 miles from its shores.
But, but during the Carter administration, 1977 treaty, we agreed to divide the Straits of Florida equally with Cuba.
That means that the Spaniards can drill a deep water well about the same distance from Key West Florida as the deep water horizon is from the Louisiana coast.
This happened in 1977.
Now Cuba imports about 110,000 barrels of oil every day and produces an additional 52,000, mostly from onshore and shallow water fields, this according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Now what's why why do this?
Why give the Cubans an equal right to drill for oil in the Straits of Florida?
Well, it's not just so that they will like us.
The left, here's here's here's the dirty little secret here.
The left is trying to use the prospect of oil, having all these oil deposits off of its coast, Cuba.
I mean, look at the Cubans are going to drill with the Russians, the Cubans are going to drill with the Spanish, the Cubans are going to drill with the Angolans, the Cubans are going to drill with the Chicoms.
Why Cuba in this?
Why Cuba can't do diddly squat on their own.
So when I see this, you know, the little gray cells start firing in there.
So talking about all of these oil deposits off the coast of Cuba.
Why?
Could it be, could it be that this is a way to get the United States to lift the trade embargo with Cuba.
The left is saying it would help us.
It would allow U.S. companies to go in there and get oil as well, not just the Chicoms, and not just the Russians, and not just the Spanish, and not just the Vietnamese and the Angolans, but we could go in there as well.
So you can see the priorities here.
They are willing to let the United States further defile Mother Nature if it happens in Cuba.
Because it'll help the workers' paradise of Cuba and we might lift the embargo.
Now I may be pulling a rabbit out of my hat here.
But with all of this talk here, we we got a moratorium.
We have a drilling moratorium.
A judge has just overturned it.
The Obama regime is going back to court trying to get a stay so that the moratorium will stay in in effect.
And meanwhile, everywhere else in the Gulf of Mexico, everybody else is drilling, and we're not.
And yet at the same time, we're told we gotta get rid of our dependency on foreign oil.
Something this is it is just pure diabolical.
No other way to describe this.
It's not stupid.
No, no, no, it's not stupid, it's diabolical.
We're shutting down.
This regime is shutting down, not just in the Gulf, but they want a moratorium on drilling in Alaska.
Existing wells.
Now, there's try this story.
And by the way, it's not just the administration.
The media is doing everything it can to frighten everybody to agree with the moratorium.
This is from the Associated Press.
More than 27,000 abandoned oil and gas wells lurk in the hard rock beneath the Gulf of Mexico, an environmental minefield that's been ignored for decades.
No one, not industry, not government is checking to see if they are leaking.
Says the AP, the oldest of these wells were abandoned in the late 40s, raising the prospect that many deteriorating ceiling jobs are already failing.
The AP investigation uncovered particular concern with 3,500 of the neglected wells, those characterized in federal government records as temporarily abandoned.
As a forceful reminder of the potential harm, the well beneath BP's deep water horizon rig was being sealed with the cement for temporary abandonment when it blew on April 20th, leading to one of the worst disasters in our history.
BP alone has abandoned about 600 wells in the Gulf, according to government data.
There's ample reason for worry about all permanently and temporarily abandoned wells.
History shows that at least on land they often leak.
Now, never in this article, not once, do they cite a specific well that's leaking?
Not once, folks.
They cannot and they do not cite a specific well of these 27,000 abandoned well.
We should be really frightened.
Wait till your kids hear about this.
And they will hear about it in school.
27,000 abandoned.
Well, the Obama administration, why they're really brilliant.
They're compassionate and caring.
We ought to shut down all oil drilling in the Gulf.
We've got 27 abandoned wells out there.
What if they all turn into a deep water horizon gusher?
Meanwhile, the Cubans and the Russians and the Spanish, the Angolans and the Vietnamese are going to start drilling for oil.
Off the coast of Cuba.
We're not.
No, we're going to scare our population into never ever going and getting any oil, because there's 27,000 abandoned wells out there, folks.
The Associated Press, I read the story twice, does not cite one leaking well.
Not one.
And yet, more than 27,000 abandoned oil and gas wells lurk in the hard rock beneath the Gulf of Mexico.
An environmental minefield that's been ignored for decades.
No one is checking to see if they are leaking.
An AP investigation shows.
Well, if no one's checking to see, how the hell do you know?
AP.
The oldest of these wells abandoned in the late 40s.
So you're supposed to get scared to death, folks.
27,000 wells out there, potentially 27,000 deepwater horizons.
Yeah.
27,000.
And you're supposed to go along with the moratorium.
No drilling.
And meanwhile, you're not supposed to know that the Cubans, the Chicoms, the Russians, the Angolans, Vietnamese, and Spanish, are going to be drilling off the coast of Cuba in the Gulf of Mexico.
In fact, that's just a rumor.
That's just a rumor spread by George Will and Jick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.
Except it's a sticky problem because it could come true.
Brief timeout.
Come back.
Your calls are next.
I know you've been patiently waiting out there.
We'll get to you right after this.
From the Limboy Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies, the largest free education institution in the free world.
No graduates and no degrees because the learning never stops.
I checked the email during the break.
Man Rush, you're really dear.
You're reaching now.
You're really reaching.
And all this drilling in Cuba is about the embargo.
All right.
I've often said, don't doubt me.
My friends, if formerly nicotine-stained fingers, the Associated Press, July 29, 2006.
Now remember, all this is just a rumor, according to Cox.
Disinformation, rumor spread by me, George Will, Dick Cheney Fox News.
Cuban oil renews embargo debate.
2006.
Discovery of sizable reserves means the U.S. trade ban may finally have a cost.
Miami.
Some facts about America's trade embargo with Cuba.
It's been U.S. policy since 1961.
It has yet to loosen Fidel Castro's grip on power, although his colon did.
It has cost America little strategically or economically, until now, that is four years ago.
From here on out, say a growing chorus of experts, and despite rumors to the contrary of Rush Limbaugh George Will and Dick Cheney, America will pay a price for maintaining its 45-year trade ban with the communist nation, a strategic and economic price that'll have negative repercussions for the U.S. in the decades to come.
What's changed the equation?
The answer oil.
To be more specific, recent sizable discoveries of it in the North Cuban basis, deep water fields that have already drawn the interest of companies from China, despite it being a rumor that Limbaugh said.
India, Norway, Venezuela, Brazil, Russia, Angola, Vietnam.
Just rumors, though, spread by limbaugh.
The embargo passed its prime.
This in turn has reheated debate in the U.S. Congress, the Cuban American community on an old question.
Has the time finally come to shelve the embargo?
Given America's need for more sources of crude at a time of rising gas prices, soaring global demand, and the outbreak of war in the Middle East, maybe we need to strike a deal with Cuba.
There you have it.
AP 2006.
We're going to stop drilling.
We have stopped drilling a moratorium.
The Cubans are prepared to go hog while drilling.
Suzanne in North Hills, California.
As we go to the phones, we'll start with you today.
Great to have you with us.
Rush Limbaugh.
I have a question.
That person that we laughingly refer to as the leader of this nation who's sticking his nose into the Arizona law, referring to that as profiling.
Yeah.
When you can stop somebody for probable cause, what's the difference?
Exactly right.
Exactly right.
Maybe you should start a rumor and explain that to him.
Start a rumor.
Yeah, my rumors end up being true, even in the same story where the rumor is discounted.
I know that's why we love you.
Thank you, Suzanne.
That's a good thought.
Now remember, though, there's no profiling cited in the in the actual suit.
In an accompanying brief, they talk about civil rights violations.
Yes, but he still doesn't know what he's talking about.
Um, now see that's the rub.
Nobody seems to mind that.
Um, I think a lot of people do.
You're just not seeing it.
It's not reported in the media.
I think I think you have you have an undercurrent of outrage throughout this whole country about this administration.
It's but nobody will say anything on the surface.
They all grumble and whine about it behind closed doors or at work.
Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa.
Who do you mean?
Everybody.
No, Houston, nobody will say anything on the surface.
Who?
Well, besides you.
Well, I know me, but you're talking about are you talking about elected Republicans?
Uh or the media, who are you talking about?
The media, specifically.
You'll hear somebody make a comment, you know, at a party or off the record, but they'll never admit it on the air or in print that you won your right to their wrong, and that Obama doesn't know what he's doing.
Well, but see, that's he does know what he's doing.
He's ruining the water.
He's dividing this country into tribes.
True.
We have always been a unified people.
There's always been a distinct concept of an American.
But we've been hyphenating American for a long time.
Now we're we're look at this new Black Panther guy.
The only way to get freedom is to kill cracker babies.
True.
Uh we've got this kind of divisive rhetoric and anger that's popping up all over the country.
The whole concept of American exceptionalism, the whole concept of American exceptionalism is under assault.
Uh, and who are we pandering to or pandering to the lowest common denominator groups?
True.
We are redistributing the wealth from the achievers and the earners to people that don't work or can't work or what have you.
I mean, we have an all-out assault On the uh things that define the greatness of this country.
Are you gonna be the leader of our tribe?
I already am the uh leader of our tribe, as evidenced by the fact that I am not nobody saying anything on the surface.
I am a body.
I am somebody.
I am so that sounds wow.
That sounds powerful.
I am somebody.
Speaking from the mountaintop, I am somebody.
And I am speaking on the surface.
Uh great call, Suzanne.
Thanks much.
Who's next?
This is uh Drew in New York City.
Great to have you on the program.
Hi.
Good afternoon, sir.
How are you?
Very well.
I just wanted to point out that uh I I was very recently took a cruise through the Caribbean uh and on to Cozumel, Mexico and back, and we went over Northern Cuba, and there uh there were sites uh where drilling was taking place in the international waters and in Cuban waters, and what I I did ask, and to the to the captain's knowledge and to the crew's knowledge, they were not American.
So somebody's there already.
And there are there are future sites being set up.
I'll tell the Spanish are there right now in conjunction with the Cubans, the Angolans, the Vietnamese are coming in, and the Chinese.
It's all coming.
Even this Cox News story, which tries to dispel it as just a rumor, says, but it's about to come true.
I just want to state for the the the extensive record has shown to me that you've never been one to lie to your listeners.
Because that's not your that's not your goal or your intention.
And I I understand that, and I just want you to know that I believe you and I believe in you, and I listen to you every day, and I always will.
Thank you for it.
God bless you, Drew.
Thanks, thanks very much.
I don't lie.
If I make an error, or if somebody on the staff more correctly makes an error, uh, then I correct it.
As soon as I know, as soon as I know that it is uh it is a mistake.
How come how come um you think if file a lawsuit none in Arizona, right on immigration?
How come Holder and Obama have not gone down there to look at the situation?
They haven't.
They've not gone down to Arizona, they've got not gone to the border.
Why do they not want to see what's going on with their own eyes?
There's no evidence to back up their argument, and they don't want evidence contrary to their argument, staring them in the face.
Here's Lance and Amarillo in Texas.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hi.
Hi, Rush.
Thanks for taking my call.
My question is about the Black Panther incident in Philadelphia.
Yeah.
Instead of going after the Black Panthers as an organization, how come the individual can't be brought up on individually civil charges uh for like harassment, verbal assault, interfering with the right to vote, uh things like that from the people that are there?
Do you really want me to answer this?
Well, I understood that it could be, but somebody would have to come forward with the Cajonas to file charges on to do that.
Um I th I think that happened.
There's video tape of this.
Right.
There's video tape.
So you the the look at the the answer to your question has been given by the Department of Justice line attorney who was told to drop charges, and the reason that we're not gonna pursue it is because we're not gonna go after black defendants.
But wasn't that as far as the organization goes?
Couldn't the people that actually attended uh file charges on him individually for like verbal assault and interfering with their right to vote.
What yeah, but they're not.
Whether they're gonna go after the individual or going after the group, the Justice Department has spoken.
They're not of course they can.
I mean, they they could they could see this one through if they wanted to.
They just choose not to.
Sure.
Now we got this whistleblower, and and his name is J. Christian Adams, and he's out testifying.
He's he's uh talking to the media, he's talking to committees, congressional committees, he's explaining his case.
Uh not being covered outside of Fox News and uh and talk radio, the conservative blogs, but he's making it perfectly clear why individually or as a group, the new Black Panthers are not being pursued here.
There's also I saw Abigail Thurnstrom, who's a uh brilliant civil rights.
I think she's a lawyer, but she's um she's on our side of the things.
She says it's kind of a waste of time to go after the new Black Panther thing.
There's far worse things going on in the Justice Department today than this.
But I disagree with that uh in a political sense only because this is so easily understandable.
You know, you don't need to be a think tank scholar.
Um you don't have to have 14 master's degrees and doctorate degrees uh in order to understand this.
Uh you want to delve deeply into some of the other abuses of power in the Justice Department.
Uh, you might have a tougher time making the case.
But this one, this is very simple.
People were intimidated against voting by the new Black Panthers.
The Justice Department, so we're not gonna pursue charges against black people.
But what how more simple to understand their motive is that.
Well, you're gonna love this one.
This is from the UK Telegraph.
Professor Phil Jones, the scientist at the center of the climate gate scandal, is to be reinstated in his role at the University of East Anglia after being cleared of dishonesty by a major review.
Well, Mr. Jones has been cleared by his peers who were also guilty.
What a shock.
Professor Jones lost his job as head of the climate research unit at East Anglia after personal emails he sent appeared on the internet.
The emails referred to a trick used to interpret data and the death of a leading climate chain skeptic as cheering news.
Skeptics claim that stolen emails showed Professor Jones and his colleagues were willing to manipulate key data to exaggerate the rise in global temperatures.
The scandal became known as Climate Gate, caused repercussions around the world as it was used by those who question the case for man-made global warming.
However, a comprehensive review into the case by Sir Muir Russell, a senior UK civil servant, has cleared Professor Jones of any dishonest behavior.
Edward Acton, the Vice Chancellor of the University of East Anglia, immediately announced Professor Jones will be reinstated as director of research at the climate research unit, a role of similar importance to his lost post.
He said it was a personal vindication for Professor Jones, who has said he considered suicide over the affair.
And we hope this means the wilder assertions about the climate science community will stop.
However, skeptics claim the report was a whitewash and questioned the reinstatement of Professor Jones, David Holland, one of the leading skeptics, pointed out that Professor Jones referred to deleting emails in one of his communications.
Would you trust a man who is asked to delete evidence?
Well, look, we all know what happened.
We all know that the whole thing's a hoax.
We all know that the whole thing's a sham.
But just as Dan, just as uh Tom Broke on and Peter Jennings circled the wagons to protect Dan Rather during that totally made-up story about Bush and the National Guard, so is the scientific community circling the wagons to protect not just this guy, but the guy at Penn State, Michael Mann as well.
So the hoaxers have now been forgiven, and they can go back to perpetrating the hoax.
Nothing's real.
There are no standards.
Nothing right or wrong.
There are just agendas to protect.
Agendas and phony false reputations to protect.
Nothing's real.
It was a hoax, but we're going to protect the hoax and the hoaxers with peer review.
Here's Obama.
Another speech on the economy today at the White House.
The president talking about the economy and jobs.
It's nothing new.
We've heard it since 2008.
Growth won't come from an economy where prosperity is based on fleeting bubbles of consumption, of debt.
You can't rely on paper games.
We've seen where that led us, and we're not going back.
If we want to once again approach full employment and fuel real economic growth, then we need an end to the policies that got us here.
We need to lay a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs and rising incomes.
Um, it seems to me, uh, Mr. President, that we have um we have uh already laid this new stronger foundation, yours, and it's a disaster.
We're not going back.
We're gonna fuel real economic growth and need to end the policies that got us here.
You ended those policies a long time ago, Mr. President.
The policies that got us here are yours, and you haven't ended your policies.
Mr. Obama's policies are the reason we are where we are economically.
Let me remind you, I had this information last week.
It is about six months to go until the largest tax increases in history.
In 2001 and 2003, the Republican Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families.
They will all expire January 1st, 2011.
Now you keep all that in mind.
When you hear what I'm going to say, you keep in mind Obama saying we need to lay a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs.
And you tell me if the tax increases they're going to hit in six months, will create an atmosphere or a stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs and rising incomes.
I don't know what credibility he's got on economic growth.
I don't know where in the world why he has any credibility at all when he speaks on the economy other than he's the president.
He has no credibility.
Personal income tax will rise.
The top income tax rate will go from 35 to 39.6%.
That's also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits will be taxed.
The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent.
All the rates between will also rise.
Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher tax rates.
The 10% bracket goes to 15, the 25% bracket goes to 28, the 28 bracket goes to 31, the 33% bracket goes to 36, and 35 goes to 39.6.
There are also new higher taxes on marriage and family.
The marriage penalty will return from the first dollar of income.
The child tax credit will be cut in half from a thousand to five hundred dollars per crumb cruncher.
The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level.
The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.
All this while Obama lays a stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs and rising incomes.
The death tax will resume.
For those dying on or after January first, 2011, there'll be a 55% top death tax rate on estates over one million dollars.
A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.
Higher tax rates on savers and investors are scheduled.
Capital gains tax will rise from 15% to 20% in six months.
The dividends tax rate will go from 15% to 39.6% in six months, and those rates will rise another 3.8% in 2013.
Then the second wave of taxes to hit will be those attached to Obamacare, while we are laying a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs and rising incomes.
The medicine cabinet tax.
Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be able to use health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts or health reimbursement pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription over-the-counter medicines.
The special needs kids tax.
This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on flexible spending accounts of $2,500.
Right now there is no limit.
There is one group of flexible savings account owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous, and that's parents of special needs children.
There are thousands of families with special needs kids, and many of them use flexible savings accounts to pay for special needs education.
Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs kids in Washington.
It's the National Child Research Center, can easily exceed 14,000 a year under the new tax rules.
These dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education, but no more, starting in six months.
And then there is the health savings account withdrawal tax increase.
This provision of Obamacare increases the additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20%, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10%.
Then there's a third wave.
The AMT will ensnare an additional 28 million families, up from 4 million last year.
Small business expensing will be slashed.
50% of allowable expenses will disappear.
All the while we are laying a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs.
So the money saved from depreciation and expenses now will go to the federal government in the form of higher taxes, leaving less money in the business to hire new employees or offer benefits and salary increases to existing employees.
In fact, taxes will be raised on all types of business.
There are literally scores of tax increases on businesses that'll take place.
The biggest is the loss of the research and experimentation tax credit, and there are a lot of others, combining high marginal tax rates with the loss of this tax relief will cost jobs, while we are laying a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs.
So basically what we have here is President Obama just lying again, as he has been since since 2008.
On top of all of those taxes that I just mentioned, we're going to get the VAT tax, the value-added tax, like they have in Europe.
We might even get a net worth tax.
They might first ever in history wealth tax.
Well, um, I am saying it like it's a fate accompli because that's what this administration intends.
Of course, it will not be Obama who recommends it.
It'll be Erskin Bowls and Alan Simpson and their commission, which will recommend it.
And Obama will say, Well, you know, we we we didn't abandon the policies that got us here soon enough, and we're gonna pay the piper now.
And the Republicans have been talking about reducing the deficit and paying down the debt.
And uh the only way we can do this, we've got to have these new taxes, the VAT tax, uh, a net worth tax, like they have in Europe.
That's a tax on one's wealth after all the other taxes have been paid.
After income taxes, after the new capital gains tax, after all of these other taxes, there will be a net worth tax, and it'll be attached to people of 250,000 or more.
And it'll start small, like uh half a percent or a percent or whatever, and it'll keep building and building and building.
And this is all part of ensuring that nobody accumulates wealth anymore in this country.
It's where we're headed.
Feta complet, maybe not entirely.
But unless the Republicans start talking about growth, economic growth, and pointing out that Obama's killing it, and saying that in no uncertain terms.
Yeah, you can talk about deficits and debt.
People get that.
You don't need to re-in, you don't need to keep hammering that nail because it's in the coffin.
People already know that.
Economic growth has to be the policy.
Economic growth has to be the answer to what we're having now.
And none, none, absolutely none of any of Obama's policies will lead to any economic growth in the private sector by design.
It's not enough just to say, well, we gotta wait till this guy's out of office.
If we're gonna make an effort to win the House and perhaps the Senate, we better be prepared to use the power that we acquire.
I'm a little long.
Take a break.
Come back, get more of your phone calls.
There's still more three three more sound bites in Obama's economic speech.
You've heard it all before.
The man ought to have zero credibility on anything he says regarding economics.
Back after this.
Now here's another uh interesting tax increase.
That is effective tax increase coming uh in six months.
Charitable contributions from IRAs are no longer going to be allowed.
Under current law, a retired person with an IRA can contribute up to 100,000 per year directly to a charity from their IRA.
They get the deduction, the charity benefits.
This contribution counts toward an annual required minimum distribution, but this ability will be canceled.
This feature will be canceled.
January 1st of 2011.
One more Obama soundbite.
This is from this morning in Washington, as the president who has destroyed the U.S. private sector speaks about it.
Some might argue that government has no role to play at all in our economy.
Everybody in this room understands that the free market depends on a government that sets clear rules that ensure fair and honest competition, that lives within its means, that invests in certain things that the private sector can't on its own.
In the absence of sound oversight, responsible businesses are forced to compete against unscrupulous and underhanded businesses who are unencumbered by any restrictions on activities that might harm the environment or take advantage of middle class families.
threatened to bring down the entire financial system.
I don't know where to start on this.
You have an indictment of everybody in the private sector as a bunch of cheats.
Underhanded and unscrupulous.
Responsible businesses are forced to compete against them.
Who is it that's unencumbered by any restriction?
The government.
His regime is what is unencumbered by any restriction.
His regime is the biggest stumbling block to private sector growth that it has ever been.
The U.S. government has never been the obstacle that it is today.
Okay.
The U.S. government has never ever been as big an obstacle to prosperity as it is today.
And to listen to this PAP is maddening.
Pure Maddening.
In France, the wealth tax, by the way, 1.8% of net assets.
It is called the solidarity on a solidary tax, solidarity tax on wealth.
After all your assets, your net assets, meaning after you've paid all your taxes, what you're left with, there's a 1.8% tax on that.
It's a tax on wealth.
Every year, which we don't have in this country.
We've never had a tax on wealth.
The income tax by design is to prevent the acquisition of wealth to certain limits.
The income tax, the rising marginal rates, leaving you with less disposable income.
That's that's one of its purposes.
It's not primarily to raise revenue.
If it were to raise revenue, they would lower tax rates.
That works every time it's tried.
It's about control.
It's about loss of liberty.
It's about making as many people as possible dependent on government, not just for their needs, but also for their wants.
And so you will vote for the party which provides those things for you.
And that's what FDR, the Democrats have been setting up and executing for the last fifty years.
And in case you didn't hear, in case you didn't hear Obama the first time or the second time, in case you didn't hear Geithner the first time or second time, he said it, Obama did again just this morning.
As I told other leaders of the G twenty, after years of taking on too much debt, Americans will no longer borrow and buy the world's way to lasting prosperity.
We alone cannot be the engines of economic growth.
Furthermore, a strong and durable recovery requires that countries not have an undue advantage.
What what do those two have to do with one another?
How do we have an undue advantage if we're going into Hawk?
Export Selection
