Uh I used that very successfully.
Uh, three months into being mayor with Bill Bratton.
And we caught a terrorist in less than 24 hours.
I also should tell you that with every hour that goes by and not catching a murderer, the the chances of solving it go down.
Most murders are solved in the first 36 hours.
And I think we're beyond 36 hours.
Uh in the Utah case with uh the the late great uh Charlie Kirk.
Uh back to uh back to Annapolis.
This is coming from the city of Annapolis, official social media accounts, uh, and they are reporting that this is coming from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Uh Naval support activity in Annapolis in coordination with local law enforcement is currently responding uh to reports of threats made to the Naval Academy.
The base is on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.
This is a developing situation, and we will provide updates as they become available.
Do they announce any casualties?
They uh these victims of any kind.
They do not.
They they uh shooting.
Uh they do not.
We do know a Medevac helicopter has appeared on campus.
And we've seen uh we've seen video of cadets running.
Yes.
This, according to emergency dispatch recordings.
Uh quote, command reports, three patients injured, EMS task force staging.
Three patients injured are the words used.
Medevac has been requested for at least one victim.
Well, that seems consistent with that uh with that uh X report that you had.
That's right.
And we have seen at least one uh helicopter, Medavac uh helicopter landing on campus.
I I don't I don't know um uh I I I I say this rhetorically rather than really, but I don't know how much more we can take.
We can take more.
We're very strong people.
So I don't I don't want to give you the impression that this is gonna this is gonna overwhelm us.
Not confirmed.
But it really has to show us the magnitude of the terrible dark days that America is going through and has gone through since we elected an evil man as president.
Uh this I mean I've uh this is extraordinary that we have all of these uh all of this violence.
Uh presumably somewhat different uh motives, but somehow all it appears to be subsumed in this culture of violence that we have now adopted that we never had before.
Uh it's too early to to to draw general lessons from it or conclusions except to mention that we better.
So we'll keep posted on Annapolis as it develops.
But right now, what we know is the campus is locked down.
Right.
The cadets seem to have run from one place to another to get out of presumably harm's way.
A medevac helicopter has been spotted.
But the number three is the number that comes up.
Um that's it so far.
That's well and that there's a student uh or multiple reports, yeah, that this student was expelled yesterday uh and returned to campus today.
These are uh multiple.
Remember now are uh are they in their semester now?
They're they're gonna be able to do that.
September I would say most I without knowing academies, yeah.
If they kind of follow the rest of schools about this time, they are back on campus.
Yeah, they're already playing football.
So we will we will stay up uh we'll keep you up to date on this over the next few hours.
If we see or hear anything else, uh of course we can't you can't you can't help but think, of course, today being the 24th uh marking the 24th anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks in American history.
Something to keep in mind.
It's also to keep in mind does it have any is there any connection between the two?
Right.
That we do know that the Islamic terrorists, and I'm not blaming this on them.
I don't know if they if they did this or not, but we do know that they are very, very, very partial to doing symbolic attacks.
That's I mean, I I always thought one of the great failings of uh sleepy Obama and Crooked Hillary was not being prepared for Benghazi on the anniversary of 9-11.
Uh anniversary of 9-11, even if it's useless, uh, one should be enormously well prepared because uh they're probably gonna decide not to do it because they have conflicting uh objectives.
One is they love symbolism, so they love to pick a date that has significance to you and ruin it.
Number two, they also don't like to go against hard targets because they're playing a uh kind of a shell game, uh a sham game.
They're trying to frighten you beyond their resources by doing shocking things like cutting people's heads off.
And but if they fail, if they're thwarted, if a group like the Israelis kill all of them before they kill anybody, then it's a setback for them.
So you will notice that largely they do not attack hard targets that you expect.
Uh it doesn't mean they won't, and it doesn't mean they don't.
So you don't have any guarantees in this business.
Yes.
But let's see, let's see, let's see what happens.
That's it.
So, mayor, before we take a break, maybe we'll play uh this is a video I was able to capture this morning from the 24th uh memorial uh service ceremony that's held in there.

It's very somber.

I mean, Charlie is a day old, and the other lady was covered up for three weeks by the by the Democrat communists.

But I should tell you, if you notice the the the big uh firefighter next to the singer, uh that firefighter, I would say, without exaggeration, was leading the ceremonial unit at at least 50 funerals that I was at.
And he was a tower of strength for the women and the children and the men.
Uh I I got he's in my dreams because when I relate to a particularly really sad situation, his face comes up.
And he is brilliant at what he does.
I was so glad to see him.
He may very well be retired now, and I think he's at the rank of captain.
Um but he he handled those funerals sometimes two or three A day.

Welcome back to the Rudy Giuliani show on this evening of the 24th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack by Islamic or anyone else, Islamic terrorists ever.
Um one that we still are working our way through.
There are a number of articles written throughout America in different newspapers, and I looked at many of them yet uh last night and this morning.
And there's a theme running through them.
Last year the theme was we're more dangerous than we were on September 11, which is the logical conclusion for four years of having a completely unsecure border.
I mean, terrorists try to get through secure borders.
If you give them an unsecure border, they're going to censure every terrorist they have.
They're going to see it as a bonus period where they can put and storm here for 10 years, people that want to kill you.
And there's no doubt that here in America, I was standing next to the director of the FBI.
I didn't ask him for an answer.
And I said, Cash, I the enormous enormity of your task is uh is crushing.
Uh it's it's one thing to have to deal with terrorism.
It's another thing not to know what the scope of your problem is.
The FBI and every other law enforcement agency works best when it has good intelligence.
And no matter how good it is, it works terribly when it doesn't.
It's impossible to have good intelligence on the number of illegals that are here in this country who are terrorists.
Please put yourself in the place of a terrorist if you can.
And the president of the United States announces, you know, surge to the border, and we're going to let you in.
Well, you say to yourself, okay, pal, this is my chance.
If I wait, I might not be able to get in.
But I can put my cells in there.
And if you know the nature of Islamic terrorism, they they they may not use them for 10 years.
And we are overwhelmed with the possibility of those people being here, which the FBI, including the former director, believes is true.
So I don't know what that means, and I don't know what that is going to involve.
Um I do know the last couple of days have been horrendous for this country as we remember something that was one of the most horrendous things that happened in the history of this country.
But the point of a number of these articles this uh year is that this the students now in school who are educated about nothing except 57 genders, uh, which I I can't imagine uh what kind of farcical, idiotic, insane brainwashing that is.
Uh they they don't know anything about September 11.
They weren't born when it happened.
So there are a number of people that are involved in setting up educational programs for them.
Among them, Matt Slater, who is an assemblyman in the 94th district in New York, and he has an entire curriculum that he wants introduced in the schools that educate uh young people on what September 11 was, what it was about.
Uh and here's the part that's really important, and who did the attack?
And there's a price we're gonna pay if we don't do that.
The price won't be that we don't understand our history.
The price will be we don't understand our present.
You know, if I teach about how Nazism formed in Germany, or how communism formed in Russia or in China, or how the communists started to influence our government under Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt.
That's history.
Well, the last one maybe not, still playing itself out.
But 9-11 is not history.
9-11 is going on right now.
Why do they come here to kill us?
Allah Akbar.
They came here to kill us in the name of Allah.
That isn't just a uh uh uh casual statement.
That comes right out of their holy book, the Quran.
They haven't taken it out.
And uh just the other day there was a killing in Israel with the guy yelling, Allah Akbar.
That's 24 years later.
So what happened to us on September 11 cannot be consigned to our history books.
It's an ongoing struggle.
It's an ongoing existential threat to the to the security of the United States and Israel and Europe.
We can see places like England maybe turning into Muslim countries.
Uh The single the single most utilized name last year in England was Mohammed.
And they have areas of England that are governed by Sharia law.
This is the home of the of the English common law.
Sharia law is a joke.
I'm not a joke, it's a travesty.
It's not a law.
It's a it's a cruel, vicious, insane dictatorship with the biggest victims women.
Imposed by a man who was a mass killer.
Uh homophobic.
A pedophile.
His name is Mohammed.
If we're not able to say that to each other, we can't win this.
You cannot defeat an enemy that you can't identify.
And here's the problem with the Muslim community who caused 9-11.
They uh the vast majority of the Muslim community is not violent.
Uh Ali Hershey, who is a who is a refugee from uh excessive uh Muslim cruelty, divides them into the Medina Muslims and the Mecca Muslims.
Very, very wise thing to do because there were two Mohammeds, dependent on the period of time in which he was uh writing.
In the early stage, when he was trying to uh win over uh his home country, uh his home town, he was very, very uh generous about the things that he said about Christians and Jews and other people.
When he was rejected by Christians and Jews and his own Arabs because they thought he was a madman, he went out into the desert and he formed armies, and he became a uh first a general and then a terrorist.
He's the model for ISIS for bin Laden, for the Ayatollah.
Mohammed.
The person that if we do a nasty painting of him, uh, we're gonna have you know demonstrations all over the city.
They're gonna require us to take it down, but they won't require us to take down a picture of Jesus on the cross naked.
Uh, we have been um we have been ridiculously accommodating to a religion and philosophy that can change right in the core of its most important book a massive imperative to kill us.
That's insane.
That's insane cowardice.
And that's what caused September 11, and that's why September 11 is still alive today, because we still haven't confronted it.

He almost died that day, but he survived.

Again, Giuliani showed his steel backbone.
Just like on 9-11, he ran into the fight while others ran away.
This time to demand investigations into the 2020 election.
He stood up and fought for millions of Americans whose voices were stolen from them.
For Giuliani's supporters, that can never be repaid.
And the hope he gave them in America's darkest hours will never be forgotten.
That is Giuliani's legacy, a fighter and a champion for the people, no matter what it cost him.
Giuliani proved he was all man, cut from iron when the rest of the politicians folded.
They tried to destroy him with lawfare, to bankrupt him, to break him.
But Giuliani never wavered.
I sat in his court hearings and covered him for his years in exile under the Biden presidency and witnessed it with my own eyes, a man who absorbed blow after blow and kept going, never showing fear in the most desperate of times.
And now, after years of trials, attacks, and attempts to erase his legacy, comes a measure of redemption.

He took off on Marine One, so he did a gaggle.
He took a lot of questions, and his mood was more you could just tell the magnitude of the death of Charlie Kirk and how much it it had on the president.
It was just very apparent.
Now you cover him every day, and I know him for 40 years.
I thought last night he looked really hurt.
Of course, because uh of course I'm sure he has a lot of he did, and there's just probably that element.
Go ahead, Mr. Mayor.
Yeah.
He loved Charlie, and he knows Charlie's children.
And I found during 9-11, I gave a hundred eulogies.
And the most difficult ones were the ones where there were little children who had lost their father or their mother.
And what and then if you additionally know them.
It's hard to get through it.
Last night's speech was probably the one of the most beautiful he ever gave, but one of the most difficult.
It definitely was, and uh He looked really hurt.
He does, and I'm sure there's a measure of like so survivor's guilt because he's a he's a human being just like all of us, and he has a big heart, and I'm sure that he just feels terrible.
And a lot of people are I don't know what your opinions are on this assassin.
But I asked the president if he thought it was a trained professional, a trained assassin, just because of the accuracy of the shot and from the distance that it was.
So take a listen to my question to President Trump earlier today as he boarded Marine One.

You believe that Cover is a trained assassin.
Usually your instincts are always on.
Uh I'd rather not say I think progress is being made.
Uh, he's an animal, total animal.
And hopefully they'll have him and uh they'll get him.
What he did is disgraceful.
Charlie Kirk was a great person, a great man.
Uh great in every way, especially with youth.
And what he did, what this man did was disgraceful.
So hopefully we'll have him and we will deal with him very appropriately.

People feel terrible.
He was only here in the press pool recently as a reporter, you know, asking questions in the Oval Office, just like I do.
So it really hits home for a lot of the journalists here, and everybody is just in a state of shock still.
They should be.
He was a hell of a nice guy.
And he was a unique presence.
Nobody's gonna take his place.
I don't know anyone that can reach out to college campuses and young people the way he did.
You need talent that God gave him.
And um, it definitely is.
He's one of a kind.

Well, yesterday we were in a state of shock for a good part of the day in finding out that a young man.
Life was cut short, ended.
Two children lost a father, lovely wife lost her love the love of a life.
And we lost.
Probably one of the greatest champions of a free and a uh uh decent America, the America that our founding fathers intended for us.
I can't think of anyone that better carry the banner of America, the great city on the hill than Char than Charlie Kirk.
Uh and it in addition to the fact that he was a very nice guy and a very balanced guy.
He had a superb talent for connecting with people.
He had, I guess, what we call sometimes charisma.
And beyond uh the vast majority of uh the rest of us.
And uh he started using it as a teenager.
And that resulted with the help of Foster Freeze and Bill Montgomery.
In the turning point, massive movement on I don't know how many college campuses.
Thousands of hundreds.
Uh uh sorry.
So for including college campuses and high school campuses, thousands.
Okay.

And whether you agreed with him or not on a particular point, uh he was never without the ability to explain it to you, which maybe didn't change your mind, but gave you a sense of the reason of his position.
And he was more than willing to accept, even if he disagreed, the reason of your position, unless it turned to matters of life and death.
On issues like abortion, he was very rigid.
But if you're not rigid on issues of life and death, what the hell are you gonna be rigid about?
Uh the left just can't accept the fact that a tremendous number of people who reflect really uh the vast uh uh overwhelming history of the world, think of abortion as murder.
And uh the fact that a woman makes the decision for her own comfort and safety and whatever, to kill a child, uh I don't understand that.
We all have to bear burdens in life to protect the lives of the innocent uh, not just women, men too.
If they don't, they're evil people.
And uh for Charlie to be a champion for the unborn who never get a chance to speak and never get a chance to see and never get a chance to live, you may disagree with him, but uh how how can you how can you have hatred for him?
You have hatred for him because of your guilt.
You have hatred for him because you know you're a monster.
So if you're participating in more black children being aborted in Harlem than being uh uh uh being born a year ago.
Uh I'm sorry.
You're part of the serious, serious moral problem that we have, not the solution.
We should have more children being born than aborted.
Um Charlie fought for values like that.
Those are those are time-honored, beautiful values that have been turned into have been turned into evil by uh a warped ideology that does that.
Marxists are trained to do that.
No one combated that better than Charlie Kirk.
No one.
And therefore, his loss is not, it's not just rhetoric to say this is a terrible loss for America.
No one will do this uh better than he did it.
There may be others who will do something like it.
There may be others who will approach it from another point of view and be very successful.
I don't know that we'll ever see anyone with that ability to just walk on a campus totally against him and with apparently no concern for his safety, none.
Just spoke to them straight.
Just like they were guys that he met in a barbershop.
And um and in each one of these exchanges that you would see, even the ones exploited by the left in sound bites.
I I can't think of one where they bested him.
I can't.
I can't think of a single situation where Charlie was without an answer, without an explanation, right.
Uh maybe there are maybe there are some, but they'd be very, very few and far between.
So that would you call that that uh that preaching, that uh spreading of uh truth and honesty in a uh in a den of crooked dishonesty or American universities was critical.
And boy, do we need it.
If we're gonna be a great country again, we we have to fix the way we educate people.
And we educate people really in two ways in the schools and at least the public schools to the teachers union and uh the upper echelon academia are consumed with Marxism and hatred for America.
And in the public schools, they're controlled by the communist teachers union.
That doesn't give us much of a chance unless you have somebody like Charlie whose force of personality can overcome that.
Is that the reason he was killed?
I don't know.
We'll find out the reason when we find the person.
I mean, for example, in Charlotte.
South Carolina, although it was covered up by the mayor and the Democrat governor and the former governor, the reason for the killing was because the beautiful young lady was white, which we really need to know because it's not an isolated problem.
The slaughter of white people is not isolated.
Right.
And if you saw the reaction of the black people on the trade, I don't know why you don't put up the pictures.
It would uh demonstrate beyond any doubt that this is a very, very substantial problem and risk to the lives of an awful lot of people.
So today, September 11, we we go back to a terrible, terrible time in American history.
It really would be wonderful to say we've moved beyond it.
But my uh uh my conclusion about it, having lived through it probably more than anyone else, is that we are in more danger by far today than we were on September 11 when the Islamic terrorists came in and uh uh visited the greatest attack in our history.
Uh there's no doubt there are elements in the United States that Joe Biden and the Democrats brought in deliberately over the last four years that are willing to do that to us.
How do you explain Obama giving the Ayatollah billions of dollars in cash, if not to support terrorism?
And no accountability for this.
Which means if they get a chance to do it, they'll do it again.
We've got to stop this.
We have got to protect our citizens and save their lives.
Public servants, at least the Democrat public servants, serve the purpose of getting more people killed, particularly black people.
They are singularly responsible for the expansion of the death of black people in America.
And somehow they pretend to be uh champions.
They're not.
The double crosses and they're racist.
On that thought, I'm going to ask you to pray for America.
We need it.
We've got to make a massive transition.
We've got a president who has the strength and the courage to do it.
Question is, do we have the strength and the courage to follow it and to expand on it?
I do.
Do you?
Yes.
Okay.
Well, then let's remember the people who died on September 11, both now and since then.
Let's remember and pray for the people of Israel and Ukraine and Iran that are under unbelievable threat right now from that very much that same ideology in the case of two, and in the other from a massive killer Putin.
Uh and let's pray for the people of America so that we regain our common sense.
And mostly for our president who's leading us, because I don't know where the man finds the strength with all of the things that are imposed on him.
