Hello, this is Rudy Giuliani.
Welcome to another edition of Rudy's Common Sense.
Before we get started, I want to share with you an exciting episode that we have coming up.
That'll be episode number 120, and I'll be answering your questions that you send in to me.
So leave your questions in the comment section below.
Or email them to me at info at RudyGiulianiCS.com.
That's info at RudyGiulianiCS.com.
When I answer your questions, I'll read your name and what you wrote, unless you want to stay anonymous.
I mean, you just let me know that.
But I'm more than happy to read your name and then respond.
It's very, very important to me To get your ideas, for any number of reasons, not the least of which what we're engaged in right now requires everybody's thinking.
In the last episode, I asked the question, why was it that God and religion were so excluded from the reaction to the pandemic when God and religion played such a large role in the reaction to the September 11, 2001 attack on America?
So I want to go beyond that.
I want to go beyond that because I still haven't come to a conclusion on that.
And I do need your help on that.
I'd like to have your ideas on why you think that's true.
Because it'll help me formulate an opinion.
But let's try a parallel analysis that may help shed light on that and maybe the bigger picture is what happened to us, just a question of the
things that happened to us between 2001 and 2020, the Iraq war, the Afghanistan war, the recession in
2008, the election of Obama, the election of Trump, the partisan issues that took place
there and the bitterness that took place, the kneeling during the national anthem, the burning
of the flags, and And what was a pretty consistent attack on trying to drive God out of the public square, was that the reason?
Or was it part of a bigger reason?
Was it part of an effort to destroy the pillars of our government so it could be replaced by another form of government, namely socialism?
Is that a deliberate plan that is taking place now and that has been taking place for a very, very long time?
We'd have to go back and trace it, you know, decades back.
I raise it as a question.
Don't have the answer, but it's a very, very important question because there's no doubt now, today, we're dealing with the pressure to become a socialist country.
I mean, after all, at least Three or four of the candidates for the Democratic Party nomination for president are avowed socialists.
They want to make us a socialist country.
First time that ever happened.
I mean, Sanders was the first one who espoused socialism.
That was in 2016.
That would have been unheard of in 2000.
He would have gotten two votes.
And now, you know, in 2020, there were, I can't remember, five, six people more than happy to
identify themselves as socialists on the Democrat ticket.
And of course, one of the major pressure points in the Democratic Party is that whole AOC, very far left, which is clearly socialist in many ways, if you understand the history of socialism, which I'm afraid not too many Americans do, and we're going to try to cure that.
It's really more Marxism that they espouse.
Now, it's all very similar.
Marxism, socialism, communism.
What is the progression of one to the other?
Marxism underlies both socialism and communism.
There's no doubt that pride in America has declined since 2001.
Just one example, a Gallup poll, which was taken in September 2020, only 63% of U.S.
adults Is very proud or extremely proud to be an American?
63%!
Lowest level ever!
That's not a tough question.
Very proud or extremely proud of being an American?
I'd like to ask these people, what would you like to be?
Might be Venezuelan?
Might be Chinese?
Oh, why don't you become French?
You can get a riot every Friday and Saturday.
Why don't you become English where they don't even have a right of free speech?
They won't have to think about it.
That's the lowest level that people have had pride in America since 2001.
If something concerns you, it should be that.
And then, I want to make it a little bit worse, 4 out of 10 Americans from the age of 18 to 34 claim to be very or extremely proud.
I would like to actually quiz those 18 to 34-year-olds on their knowledge of American history.
I wonder if they passed my exam.
I bet not.
Now we will take a short break.
You never thought COVID could cost you your home, right?
Just right, because cybercrime is up 75%, and by far the most serious cybercrime to worry about is home title theft.
That's right.
Cybercriminals, foreign and domestic, are now after our homes, and it's easier than you think.
The title documents to our homes are online now.
The thief finds your home's title and forges your signature on a quitclaim deed, stating you sold your home to him.
Then he takes out loans on your home, and he leaves you in debt.
You won't know until late payment or eviction notices arrive.
Insurance doesn't cover you, and neither do common identity theft programs.
That's why I protect my home with Home Title Lock.
Welcome back, let's continue.
to text someone tampering with my home's title, they help shut it down.
Go to hometitlelock.com and register your address to see if you're already a victim.
Then use code Rudy to receive 30 free days of protection.
That's code Rudy at hometitlelock.com, hometitlelock.com.
Welcome back, let's continue.
Now is this development because of what happened to us?
Is this because of the attack on our history, the attack on the man who found America, the first president of the United States, and our greatest emancipator?
That seemed kind of odd.
I mean, we tear down statues of Columbus, who found the country officially, right?
George Washington, our first president, and Abraham Lincoln, the great emancipator who freed the slaves?
We tear them down.
We find things wrong with them.
We make them bad guys.
That just happens because we just don't like them.
Or it's a part of a plan to get you to hate America.
or rip apart our shared legends of great American heroism, or that we
We uh...
We don't feel we're worthy of our position in the world as the leading nation.
We just want to be one of any number of countries, America first, kind of great.
And, I mean, there's no question that there's been an unbelievable effort to take God out of the public square.
And over the last year, meaning 2000 and 20, we've never, never, ever in the history of this country had such a massive assault on the right of free speech.
Censorship over the Biden hard drive.
Double standards for Biden and Trump.
That's called censorship.
Or the attack on the importance of family as part of what makes a healthy, strong, patriotic society.
What can you even say about the disrespect for the uniform?
Whether it's the uniform of a police officer or the military or the year 2020 was a disgrace as far as Americans showing respect to the people who put their lives at risk to keep them alive.
Show the country of too many ignorant, self-important, Really sad.
Because I know those people that are being dishonored, you know.
You see the whole group of them.
One of them one night is not going to return.
The whole family is going to be without a father or a mother.
I've seen too many of them.
And you've seen too many of them.
So is this just happening to us?
Or is it designed to happen to us?
To get us to dislike, to disrespect, I mean, I would go as far as to say to hate our country.
Because it seems like it's pretty well orchestrated to get to that result.
You don't burn the flag of a country that you respect.
You don't kneel down during the national song, the national anthem, of a country that you respect, when you know that a large
percentage of the population, not all, will feel that that dishonest disservice to that
country, even dishonest in memory of loved ones who died for that country. You don't kneel down.
You show your protest in some other way.
So could it be that this is part of a plan? So you have to look to literature, which is something
18 to 34 year olds don't do nearly as much.
You have to look to literature and understand what's been written in the past because it can tell you what's going to happen in the future.
I mean, for example, if you read Hitler, you would have known that he was going to exterminate the Jews and that he was going to try to conquer Europe.
And instead of being Chamberlain, who caved into him, you'd have been Churchill, who stood up to him, who was thought of as being a warmonger, crazy, insane, an alcoholic.
I don't know what else.
Sound familiar?
Left-wing press, what they do.
Or you wouldn't have paid attention to Stalin and the Communist Manifesto.
If you'd have paid attention, you might have saved 60 million lives.
Or you would have paid attention to Ben Laden, who said we're at war, except didn't wake up Bill Clinton.
So I suggest reading.
So I'm going to go to a book that I'm going to ask you, does some of this book predict America in 2021?
The name of the book is one you're familiar with.
It's not the only one of this type.
We'll make reference to other ones as we move along.
But it's Orwell's 1984.
Now, it was written in 1948, not 1984.
1984 was picked as the future.
As far as I can tell, it didn't have perfect significance.
And it basically predicts a society in which socialism and communism wins out.
And there's a great war.
The world is separated into three countries.
One of them is known as Oceania, and Oceania is a combination of the United States, South America, and the United Kingdom.
And he places the novel in airport one, which is actually England, and in London, that portion of Oceania.
And there's a It's a one-party state.
It's controlled by Big Brother.
Sound familiar?
We use that term now for when the government takes over too much of the responsibility for us.
We use the term Big Brother.
And Big Brother is a caricature of Stalin or Hitler.
Probably more Stalin than Hitler, but both.
And he controls everything.
And let's see how much of that kind of reminds you of 2020 in America.
Its main character, whose name is Winston, don't know if that was related to Winston Churchill or not, but Winston is a man who opposes, at the beginning he opposes the dictatorship.
And sees how oppressive it is and how much it's destroying the basic human values.
In fact, he works in an agency and his job is to rewrite history.
To go back and change history to fit what Big Brother wants for today.
So if they are allied with one of their two competitors against the other in a war, then they write all very good things about the history of their ally and all very bad things about the history of their competitor.
And then as soon as they switch, he goes back and he changes all of that.
Just changes it all.
All the bad things he was saying about the competitor, he now says about the new competitor, and vice versa.
He is part of a group of people that rewrites history, or destroys history, manipulates truths and facts, in order to produce behavior that they want.
And then to make sure it's done right, they have an organization known as the Thought Police.
The Thought Police investigate not just your writings and your sayings, but your thinking.
So at the very beginning of the book, Winston is keeping a diary.
And he knows from the very beginning that he could be killed because it's illegal to keep a diary.
Not only is it illegal, it's very dangerous because then they're going to see your thoughts And you can be executed for your thoughts, or more likely, you know what happens to you if you have bad thoughts or you do things that are not considered politically correct by the regime?
You're unpersoned.
Sound familiar?
Sound like canceled?
You're no longer a person.
They just declare, Oh, you don't believe in Big Brother?
You don't believe that our changing of history was accurate, that we really were at war with these people?
When we say we weren't, I'm sorry, you're unpersoned.
Which means you no longer have a living, you no longer have a place to live, you no longer have a wife, you no longer have a family.
Just like they try to do that to someone who says something that they regard—when I say they, I mean the ruling elite in the United States, which I guess, if you want, you could sort of compare to Big Brother.
That would put together big tech, big media, and the top people in the Democratic Party.
This is exactly what they—I almost gave you the definition of what it is to unperson.
In 1984, I wonder if they read that and kind of just copied it for canceling people.
Time to take a short break.
I accomplished a lot in 2020 exposing the truth, establishing the relationship with you, working tirelessly for America.
And I came to know the work and value of the people at American Hartford Gold.
You see, you buy gold not only for what you know, but you buy gold for what you don't know.
American Hartford Gold is the company you can trust when it comes to buying gold.
They sell physical gold and silver delivered right to your door or inside of your IRA.
In the precious metals industry, they are the highest rated firm in our country with an A plus from the Better Business Bureau and thousands of satisfied clients.
Give them a call and tell them Rudy sent you.
And be sure to ask them what I bought.
And if you call them right now, they will give you up to $1,500 of free silver on your first order.
Folks, these are uncertain times.
The one thing you can count on to protect what you have worked so hard for is physical gold and silver.
So don't wait.
Call them now.
Call 833-GOLD-777.
That's 833-GOLD-777.
Or text Rudy to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777.
833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Thank you for coming back.
But this is policed by the Thought Police.
This is their job.
They're very busy.
They keep looking at people to make sure they're not saying something that they regard as hurtful, harmful.
That doesn't help in the complete domination of this person by the state.
So that they will do everything that the state wants.
You know, make sure that everyone wears two masks.
Because if you don't, you'll be censored.
Or you'll be unpersoned.
Or you'll be cancelled.
We're not there yet, but Fauci is talking about two masks.
We're still at one mask.
One mask will get you unpersoned and castigated.
A lot of words for this.
Basically, what the book involves is how a totalitarian government operates.
It includes mass surveillance.
That you put on your television—Winston at one point puts on his, I believe it's his television, and then all of a sudden he gets visited because they know everything that he said.
But he didn't know that actually they're watching him on his television.
I don't know if they're watching us on the television, but they're watching us a lot.
And you look at the FISA court, which has become somewhat of a joke, right?
And what they did in order to get Trump with totally phony affidavits and let the people get away with perjury, They don't see freedom of expression.
Big Brother and the people who dominate Oceania don't see freedom of expression as any value at all.
There's no freedom of expression.
Expression should be to express the things that create the higher good of the state, as determined by, not you, but by other people.
And the penalties for being unpersonable I mean, actually could include death, but they mostly involve ostracism, similar to the way we now cancel people or the way they did during McCarthyism.
I mean, we had that history in our country of McCarthyism, but at least in the case of McCarthyism, the media was sensitive to it.
And although it did occur for a couple of years, they came to the defense.
of the people who were treated that way.
And by the way, just to make sure we tell history correctly, before Winston can come in here and change it, it was the Republican Party who ostracized Senator McCarthy.
They acted against their own party member.
And it was General Eisenhower who organized that and McCarthy's colleagues in the Senate who censored him and made him basically an isolated man and stopped his ability to destroy people's reputation without any proof in a forum, which is the way we do it now.
I mean, we don't bother about even getting the facts.
We just have the New York Times writing a headline and the person is destroyed if the person is right wing.
If the person is left-wing, it almost never happens, and when it happens, it takes forever to happen.
And it's like pulling teeth.
So, the reason this is important is, Orwell was an expert on socialism and communism.
He was a brilliant man, and he was very, very familiar with the writings of Marx and Engels and And what they wanted to do, what their plan for history was.
And in playing out 1984, he showed us what they could accomplish if people stuck to their plan.
So is he predicting America now?
Although he didn't know that.
Because there is a plan.
It's been written out for a long time and people have been following it for over a century about how to take over a country.
The way you do it, first of all, is you get the country to hate itself.
You get the country to become embarrassed about itself.
You attack the country's history, the way they were doing with Oceania and the two other countries in 1984.
You paint everything they do as evil.
So you create a...
A syllabus for the schools like 1619 which says America is all defined by slavery.
America was founded in 1619 because America was founded on slavery.
As if America was the only country in the history of the world to have slavery.
Like America invented slavery.
And like America didn't go through a terrible time with slavery and did some terrible things, but then did some very heroic things.
And the very Abraham Lincoln whose statue they want torn down lost his life because he fought a war to end slavery.
None of that is, none of that's covered anymore.
Why?
Do we just want to leave it out or do we want to get people to hate America?
Why do we burn flags?
Except to get people to hate our country.
It displays our hatred for our country.
It's not an expression of free speech.
I don't even know what you're protesting when you burn the flag.
If you get up and tell me I'm against people going to jail for dope, I understand what you're protesting.
You burn the flag, I don't even know what you're protesting.
You're protesting the flag!
When you kneel because of the national anthem, you're disrespecting the anthem That led thousands of Americans to liberate Europe and Asia and to liberate the world from communism and to fight to free the slaves buried all over America and Europe and Asia.
That's the anthem they fought under and that's the flag they rallied to.
What have you done for the country that allows you to burn a flag Or Neil.
You probably don't even know why you're doing it, but you're doing it probably because a whole group of people want to get you to hate America.
And they're doing a pretty good job.
We attack capitalism.
People that have attacked capitalism don't even know what it is.
I doubt that they ever took a course on capitalism or could tell you who Adam Smith was.
When you go out in the streets and you interview these people, they have a hard time with the first president and their own senator.
But they attack capitalism.
It's evil.
Meaning America is evil.
As if socialism ever delivered anybody from poverty.
And they don't know the history of socialism.
Have no idea that so many countries tried socialism and ended up in great failure.
Also ended up in great violence.
Socialism almost always leads to dictatorship.
Dictatorship almost always leads to tremendous violence.
60 million dead in Russia, in China.
60 million dead in China.
That's what comes with socialism and communism.
Because it's an unnatural, it's an evil form of government.
Inherently dishonest to tell people they're all the same and then to treat them as being all the same.
And in order to do that, you have to take control of their lives because they know they're not all the same.
They know they have different talents.
They know they have different ambitions.
They know they have different energy.
It has nothing to do with race or religion or background.
It's just the way God made them.
They know that.
So the only way you can force them into conformity is by force.
The stage they're at in 1984 is by mind control.
By newspeak, which is basically speaking contradictions.
Sound familiar?
Fake news?
Newspeak?
By thought control, which leads to unpersoning someone.
Sound like political correctness and cancel culture?
We're getting there, if we're not there already.
Let's take a brief pause.
My friends, if you want to help preserve America right now, while you still can, join AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, the fastest growing conservative group in America, especially for those age 50 and up.
Joining AMAC gives you access to money-saving benefits, Cutting-edge news and a great bi-monthly magazine.
More importantly, AMAC fights for you.
A socialist storm is brewing.
Our constitutional republic has rarely faced the perils we do today.
Edmund Burke said it best.
All it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing.
If you care about our future like I do, then join AMAC today.
Over 2 million conservatives like you and me have already joined AMAC.
Stand with us by joining right now.
Just go to amac.us forward slash Rudy.
That's amac.us forward slash Rudy.
The benefits of AMAC membership are great.
But the cause is even greater.
Join today at amac.us forward slash Rudy.
Let's continue with this analysis.
1984 was built on the cult of personality.
We had like a Kennedy cult and an Obama cult and a Clinton cult and now a Biden cult.
That meant they didn't get investigated for the crimes other people got investigated for.
Did they?
I'm thinking here of Teddy with the woman who died.
He was driving.
I don't know.
You drive a car into the water.
Woman dies.
They can go to jail.
Or let's leave Obama out, because I can't prove anything about Obama.
But Clinton, you think you destroyed 33,000 emails subpoenaed by the government?
You'd go to jail?
And in the case of Biden, you think if your son took millions and millions and millions of dollars from Ukraine, Russia, China, about four other countries, And then had a text in which he said he gave half of that to you?
You think he'd go to jail?
But you're part of the protected personality like they have in 1984.
And then they have the cult of devils, you know, Goldwater, Reagan, and now, of course, the devil of devils, Trump.
Gosh, it's awful.
Similar, isn't it?
Accident or not, you've got to read it.
You've got to read 1984.
Now, you've got to read the Communist Manifesto.
You've got to read parts of Das Kapital.
I know we don't read enough anymore.
And then we leave it to people with an agenda to tell us what the facts are.
But I'm going to urge you to do that.
I'm going to urge you, now that I've outlined this and showed you the similarities, the eerie similarities between what Orwell predicted would be a socialist kind of country in 1984.
We're not 100% the same.
But when you see the eerie similarities between his 1984 in America and 2020 under the Democrat Party, tell me that we're not in danger and that this is something we have to take a much closer look at.
And we will.
We will spend time on learning The real history of communism, the real history of socialism.
And we'll take a look at another book that I'm going to recommend you read so that
we can discuss it in even greater detail, and that's Algis Huxley's Brave New World.
If you look at history and you realize that had we done more reading,
we could have avoided maybe World War II, maybe bin Laden.
Maybe communism, not sure of that.
It really would do us well to do some reading, particularly since we have so much propaganda being spread so artfully.
It's really important to maintain our own integrity, that we read and acquire facts for ourselves.
But thank you for giving me attention to this, and please, make certain that you respond, and tell me what you think.
Tell me what your view on this is and tell me what you think I've missed.
I've learned a lot from you, both from my audience here on the podcast and my audience on radio, on WABC, which you can get at wabcradio.com.
And I've learned a great deal from them because I put questions to them and they give me information.
