The Left's Exodus
00:02:58
|
|
| If Texas had California weather and California had Texas weather, the state would empty out. | |
| Yeah, I think that would definitely... | |
| No, I'm not joking. | |
| There would be almost no one left in this state. | |
| There was no other reason to be here. | |
| Yeah. | |
| That is what the left has done. | |
| You know my motto, the left ruins everything it touches. | |
| California is a perfect example. | |
| Yeah, it definitely is. | |
| The same is happening in my home state of Colorado. | |
| That's right. | |
| Well, but nobody's conscious of it because they're all high. | |
| Yeah, that's also true. | |
| I know that. | |
| You know, what did I see? | |
| You know, I'm in Colorado a lot. | |
| I saw a bumper sticker, something to the effect of, now that you've gotten high, please leave, or something like that. | |
| Are you familiar with that? | |
| Yeah, there's tons of people from California and other states who are actually moving to Colorado, and they're destroying that state as well. | |
| So, I mean, that's why it's important that you watch, if anyone listening needs to watch the documentary, you can go to PragerU.com to watch it. | |
| It's important because we showcase how it's California that is affected by this. | |
| But this could be your state in a matter of months. | |
| With leftist policies. | |
| A few leftist policies come in, minimum wage laws, business regulations, welfare spending, all these different things. | |
| They can come in kind of sneakily and you don't even know. | |
| And then, just like that, your state is destroyed and it's a leftist paradise. | |
| The name again, folks, of the first time we have a documentary out at PragerU is called Fleeing California. | |
| How many minutes is it? | |
| It's just about 15 minutes. | |
| Yeah, so we call it a mini-documentary. | |
| But it certainly gets the message across. | |
| You mentioned there, I wish there was another statistic, or I missed it. | |
| You mentioned how many people in the last few years have left California. | |
| I think 5 million. | |
| Do you remember the number? | |
| Yeah, so 5 million people in the last 10 years have left California. | |
| 600,000 of those moved to Texas. | |
| And in California, 15,000 businesses have actually left the state as well. | |
| So it's a lot of people. | |
| Right. | |
| But you didn't give the statistic, and I was dying to know it, how many people have moved to California in the last 10 years? | |
| You know, I can't tell you exactly how much that is. | |
| Yeah, we didn't include that statistic. | |
| But I do believe that California is losing its population. | |
| More people are starting to move out. | |
| Right. | |
| Also, it's not even a fair piece of data because the moving in includes illegal immigrants. | |
|
Will Witt's Terrific Moment
00:00:22
|
|
| Yeah, well, that totally offsets the population. | |
| Yes, that's right. | |
| So there may be a lot of people moving into California, but they're not U.S. citizens, generally speaking. | |
| All right, we'll be back in a moment, a couple of more minutes, with Will Witt, who made this terrific, really terrific. | |
