Dennis Prager Show - Will Witt: People Are Fleeing California Aired: 2020-03-12 Duration: 03:06 === The Left's Exodus (02:58) === [00:00:00] If Texas had California weather and California had Texas weather, the state would empty out. [00:00:09] Yeah, I think that would definitely... [00:00:11] No, I'm not joking. [00:00:12] There would be almost no one left in this state. [00:00:15] There was no other reason to be here. [00:00:19] Yeah. [00:00:20] That is what the left has done. [00:00:22] You know my motto, the left ruins everything it touches. [00:00:25] California is a perfect example. [00:00:28] Yeah, it definitely is. [00:00:30] The same is happening in my home state of Colorado. [00:00:32] That's right. [00:00:33] Well, but nobody's conscious of it because they're all high. [00:00:38] Yeah, that's also true. [00:00:40] I know that. [00:00:41] You know, what did I see? [00:00:44] You know, I'm in Colorado a lot. [00:00:46] I saw a bumper sticker, something to the effect of, now that you've gotten high, please leave, or something like that. [00:00:54] Are you familiar with that? [00:00:56] Yeah, there's tons of people from California and other states who are actually moving to Colorado, and they're destroying that state as well. [00:01:03] So, I mean, that's why it's important that you watch, if anyone listening needs to watch the documentary, you can go to PragerU.com to watch it. [00:01:11] It's important because we showcase how it's California that is affected by this. [00:01:16] But this could be your state in a matter of months. [00:01:20] With leftist policies. [00:01:21] A few leftist policies come in, minimum wage laws, business regulations, welfare spending, all these different things. [00:01:27] They can come in kind of sneakily and you don't even know. [00:01:30] And then, just like that, your state is destroyed and it's a leftist paradise. [00:01:34] The name again, folks, of the first time we have a documentary out at PragerU is called Fleeing California. [00:01:41] How many minutes is it? [00:01:43] It's just about 15 minutes. [00:01:45] Yeah, so we call it a mini-documentary. [00:01:48] But it certainly gets the message across. [00:01:53] You mentioned there, I wish there was another statistic, or I missed it. [00:01:59] You mentioned how many people in the last few years have left California. [00:02:03] I think 5 million. [00:02:04] Do you remember the number? [00:02:06] Yeah, so 5 million people in the last 10 years have left California. [00:02:10] 600,000 of those moved to Texas. [00:02:12] And in California, 15,000 businesses have actually left the state as well. [00:02:17] So it's a lot of people. [00:02:19] Right. [00:02:19] But you didn't give the statistic, and I was dying to know it, how many people have moved to California in the last 10 years? [00:02:28] You know, I can't tell you exactly how much that is. [00:02:32] Yeah, we didn't include that statistic. [00:02:33] But I do believe that California is losing its population. [00:02:37] More people are starting to move out. [00:02:38] Right. [00:02:38] Also, it's not even a fair piece of data because the moving in includes illegal immigrants. === Will Witt's Terrific Moment (00:22) === [00:02:49] Yeah, well, that totally offsets the population. [00:02:51] Yes, that's right. [00:02:52] So there may be a lot of people moving into California, but they're not U.S. citizens, generally speaking. [00:02:59] All right, we'll be back in a moment, a couple of more minutes, with Will Witt, who made this terrific, really terrific.
