And so that's a search that obviously is significant in terms of his state of mind.

What do we know about his connections?

Where are his connections?
Who was he talking to?
We're not getting the details.
details that we need.
But the big headline, the big scoop that came out, the tidbit that Ray was able to reveal, and he's like, he acts like he's so special that he said, oh, I'm going to give you something, give you a little taste.
Well, actually, it's a huge failure on the behalf of Ray and the FBI, because what did he give us?
He said that the shooter was doing internet searches for Lee Harvey Oswald.
Seven days before the shooting, one week before the shooting in Butler, this guy was in the Butler PA area about an hour distance, Bethel Park.

He was in the He was looking up information about the RNC and then he asked how far away was Lee Harvey Oswald from JFK?
He was conducting Google searches on the assassination of JFK and the FBI, the Secret Service, the teams that are supposed to be watching President Trump, didn't lift a finger.
He wasn't on their radar, or was he?
The big question in my mind, and I think you all tell which way that I'm leaning, regarding negligence versus complicity.
Is glaring on this.
It's absolutely glaring and heads need to roll.
Heads absolutely need to roll.
Figuratively, politically, all that good stuff.
This is a massive, massive issue.

But bottom line, I tweeted it out right at the beginning.
We're now asking the FBI to give us answers to investigate the attempted and failed assassination of Donald Trump.
This is the same FBI that literally falsified evidence that it submitted to a secret FISA court to spy on Carter Page, to spy on Donald Trump.
The same FBI that bragged about an insurance policy against a Donald Trump presidency.
The same FBI that lied about the Hunter Biden laptop, that lied about Russiagate.
The same FBI that tried to take down President Trump is now investigating the botched, failed, but for the grace of God, assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
It's not just that I don't trust them to do the investigation.
I don't trust that they're not involved in this.
And it's going to sound crazy and conspiratorial, but this is literally the same FBI that sought to take down Donald Trump via unlawful but nonviolent means, although I consider spying on a president a form of political violence.
So I don't trust a word that's going to come out of Ray's mouth, except in as much as he's going to say Ben, the truth as much as he can, not to be held in contempt for perjury, but he would never be held anyhow because they don't seem to punish their own.
No, of course not.
In the same way that Robert Herr and Merrick Garland was able to hold those tapes over and over despite congressional subpoenas, all the while Stephen Cate Bannon is sitting behind bars, and at the time, Peter Navarro was sitting behind bars for the very same thing.
You, of course, created an incredible podcast for Steve Bannon's trial two years ago now, All of your predictions unfortunately came 100% true in that instance.
But going back on this Viva, let me ask you, what are some of the biggest questions that you have regarding this shooting?
I've laid out mine, but I'd love to hear yours.
There's a joke, it's almost like a meme, that when you call up the FBI to report a suspicious person, they're not going to go arrest the person, they're going to go recruit the person.
And it's a meme, but it's more truth than fiction.
And people are going to accuse me of vilifying the FBI, promoting conspiracy theories.
You literally saw it in the Gretchen Whitmer bednapping plot.
They were not foiling plots, they were recruiting mentally unwell people to basically entrap them into committing Heinous crimes.
We saw it on January 6th.
I mean, whether or not you think it was a fedsurrection, it was.
They had agitators.
They had unspecified numbers of people on the ground to provoke the insurrection, the so-called insurrection.
And so they have this kid who, like, I'm not going to judge a book by its cover, but he clearly looks like he's mentally unwell, compromised, infirmed or whatever.
This kid doing Google searches for obviously suspicious things Was he recruited by the FBI?
Were they?
Oh, we had advanced knowledge, but we lost track of him.
Everything that's come out of this failed assassination plot, I mean, it's divine intervention that it did not result in Trump being killed.
I mean, it's almost inexplicable how with all of these, let it happen on purpose or made it happen on purpose, that bullet grazed Donald Trump's head and averted what I think would have been World War III of France, Ferdinand 2.0.
I want to know, did they know this kid before?
Had they had any interactions with this kid?
And then how do you account for each and every systematic failure the day of?
Because they're not failures.
You can't have one thing.
Oh, we didn't secure the building.
Oh, it wasn't within the perimeter.
Oh, the snipers on the roof went inside because it was too hot.
Oh, the snipers inside left their post to try to find the guy.
Oh, they sent the information to Secret Service, but nobody knew where the guy went for 20 minutes.
Oh, and they still let Donald Trump come on stage?
We are asking the people who I strongly believe facilitated this to investigate it and tell us what happened.
It's a lost cause.
And look, this is the biggest question of all, I think.
And we talked about, I spoke with Tucker about the fact that the local police, who supposedly were tracking this guy, they lose sight of this guy.
Yes, to your point, they obviously should have come out of that that AGR building where they're on the second floor.
But the idea being that is if they're sending all this information, why weren't they on the same frequency as the Secret Service?
And then even still, we are told that the Secret Service received information of a POI, a person of interest, or a potential threat, again, crawling on a building just 150 yards away from the president.
And at that point, they did not go To the President's detail and say, hold him.
Hold the President.
Hold him backstage.
Don't let him come out.
We're going to check this thing.
We're going to see what's happening right now.
It'll be a couple of more minutes.

Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI lawyer, They falsified evidence that they submitted to a FISA court to obtain an unlawful spy warrant against Carter Page so they could spy on the incoming president, Donald Trump.
They promoted the Russiagate hoax.
They participated in the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot that they then used as an example of far-right extremism by exploiting mentally unwell or, you know, compromised individuals for their own We're asking the criminals to investigate themselves, and then they call the people who call for their disbanding, you know, extremists or conspiracy theorists, making it more difficult to do their job.
They can raid a grandma in Alaska for January 6, and they can't do anything when this kid was doing online research a week before, flying a drone over the day of, and then had an hour of suspicious person before he became a threat.
They didn't let Trump out on stage because of their own incompetence.
They let him out on stage to be executed before the entire nation, the entire world, to let it be known to people.
This is what happens when you stand against us and the system.
They need to be disbanded, period.
But they need to be thoroughly investigated.
And I don't know who does it, because they sure as heck are not going to do it to themselves.
Look, there's a lot of problems with this.
There's a lot of problems with all there.
I spoke with Tucker about this, but the Garland, Texas shooting, all the way back in 2015, that Elliot Simpson, who was sitting there, conducts the shooting with his partner, with his alias, And goes out, conducts the shooting, shooting up, it wasn't Trump supporters, but conservatives at this event.
There was an FBI asset in the car behind them, taking photos, who hightails it out of there.
Never once contacted local security, never once contacted anyone.
We wouldn't even know about it unless one of the lawyers of a potential accomplice had dug it all up years later.

The way that they've completely revealed their hand and their power in all of this.

It was New York delegation votes for Kamala Harris, North Carolina.
Oh, Kamala Harris has cinched the delegates.

Against who?
Right?
There was no election.
There was no process.

You threw out all the votes of the Democrat voters and then you just handed it over to someone who didn't even win a single vote when there was an actual primary in 2020 because she dropped out.

She was hired because she was the best.
Even though Joe Biden has said many times that one of the reasons that he chose Kamala Harris was because she was a black woman.
And of course, the Democrats were pushing all of that in the summer of 2020.
It was the George Floyd summer, the summer of rage.
Yes, that is DEI.
DLM summer, there was no way that he was going to choose one of his earlier top choices, which would have been Amy Kloemashar of Minnesota or Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan.
It was impossible because you have to understand how Democrat politics work.
They needed to choose a black woman in that moment.
So, yes, that is DEI.
But of course, I tweeted this yesterday, but if DEI is a good thing, why do they say it's an insult when we call someone a DEI hire?
if DEI is supposed to be good and you all have programs for it.
I'm just trying to make sense of any of this.

The media coming out Axios, but Politico and others this morning saying Kamala Harris was never borders are.

And of course, remember, it was Kamala Harris over at the Munich conference in 2022, just days before Putin Across the border with his invasion force, saying, and she was the one saying, Ukraine will be in NATO.

And I guarantee you, the media will say next, Kamala Harris didn't, Kamala Harris wasn't involved in Ukraine.

The media will say this and people will, will, uncynically, Believe the media because there are still millions of Americans that are conditioned to follow whatever their televisions tell them.
And you're seeing this as well on TikTok, where suddenly she's gone from cringe to Brad.
She's now trendy.
She's the most trendy topic and trending topic on TikTok.
So What is it, Viva, that the, not just conservatives, but realists and truth tellers and independents and centrists are actually up against right now?
Well, I'll reiterate one of my more recent predictions, which is still 9 to 1 on the predicted.
I don't think Kamala Harris is going to be the presidential nominee for the Democrats.
It's becoming increasingly unlikely now because they seem to be breaking the rules or rewriting the rules in order to make it happen.
But there should be outrage.
It's an impeachable offense to the degree to which she lied to America.
It's an impeachable offense to the degree to which they defrauded primary voters out of their votes.
But anybody within the Democrat Party should be raising hell about this because this is, it's beyond undemocratic.
We're living through 1984 in real time where, forget who it was, in the middle of his speech, they give him a new speech and they replace Eurasia with East Asia.
I forget what it was.
East Asia, yeah.
And so we're like, Joe Biden's good for another four years, sharp as a tack, whatever.
And Kamala Harris, what do you think you fell out of?
A coconut tree idiot.
And it's gone from good enough for four more years and Kamala's a bit of an idiot to he's out and she is the next savior.
And watching this, it's like a military machine in real time.
The social media machine, the armies of trolls out there or bot accounts out there, the media flipping on a dime like they've just received the new script.
It's Orwellian.
What do people have to do?
Don't let him forget.
It's a shame that there are so many people out there.
I don't call them stupid.
They are just low information voters.
They're living their lives.
They have jobs.
They have families.
And they don't have time to do all of this, to live on the Internet and to really understand what's going on.
So they go to MSNBC, CNN, 60 Minutes, and they think, oh, new vigor.
CNN came out yesterday and said that Kamala Harris Came out guns blazing, which I think came out fighting and guns blazing, which I think are two wonderful analogies that maybe they shouldn't use.
But that's what they rely on for their news.
And now she has literally been transformed overnight.
From an idiot who can't string together a sentence to the savior of the Democrat Party.
And if you don't vote for her, you're a misogynist, a racist, whatever else.
They'll call you an anti-Semite if you don't vote for her because her husband's Jewish.
They'll pull out all the angles.
But overnight, they received their new script and people are going to go with it because they just don't know better because they're busy living their lives.
And that's exactly right.
And you're going to have people who actually believe that, yes, you know what?
The K-Hive is real.
I want to be part of the K-Hive because they are totally focused on identity.
And here's something I was speaking with Dr. Ernst Roetz from South Africa last night, and he was Talking to someone who studied the left in South Africa, but he was kind of getting into this idea of how can you have so many leftists that, you know, some are Islamists, some are Antifa, some are for women's rights, and they have all of these obviously conflicting viewpoints.
How can you have them all together?
And the researcher said to him, well, it's actually quite simple because they're not united by what they stand for.
They're united by what they hate.
They're united by the fact that they hate white, Christian males.
They hate Western civilization.
They hate anything to do with actual human progress or human future.
And so this is the underlying through line for which they're all united.
It has nothing to do with any of these, you know, theoretical or academic discussions or ideological pieces because it's not ideological.
I just wrote a whole book about this.
I said, leftism is not ideological and people need to start understanding that.
And this is why I keep pointing out again, again, and again, People want to say, oh, well, JD Vance called her a childless cat lady.
I said, you know what?
It's not about that.
It's about, does she have actual empathy?
Does she have actual care?
Does she have actual concern for the future or for the humans that will be living in the future for the descendants of this country?
And do we want that person being the one in charge?
That's the real question, because I see someone who is ruthless.
I see someone who is cold.
I see someone who is detached.
Yeah, we know the veneer is fake, but underneath, that's what you've got.

People cannot forget her dereliction of duty at the border.
She didn't go to the border while her country that she's supposed to be representing is being invaded.

She's a liar, a power hungry liar, but so are most politicians.
The bottom line, though, and this is where the left should be getting outraged.
She stole however many black votes.
She stole, disenfranchised her own base by lying to the American people, using Joe Biden, exploiting of that demented old man as a tool for her own political profit, knowing that she was going to stab him in the back afterwards and steal the votes of the people who voted for him and not for her, knowing that they would never vote for her in the first place.
So people on the left should be getting outraged, but they will end up eating their own a little bit.
Just hasn't been to the degree to which I predicted initially, but I didn't.
The social media media machine flipped the script overnight, and they've gone into overdrive, turning this incompetent boob into a political superhero.

Folks, The great Julie Kelly joins us now here on Human Events Daily.
Julie, I'm just going to hand it over to you.
Gosh, I know you as well as I watched that incredible, just wonderful Chris Wray press conference earlier today, the hearing that he held up there.
You know, really just, I think it's open and shut case.
You know, that was perfect, answered all the questions, wasn't evasive on anything.
I mean, I just thought that was wonderful and I'm sure that you felt the exact same way.
I did.
I mean, we are so lucky to have Christopher Wray as the head of the FBI, as he reminded us that he is going to be totally transparent or as transparent as he can at this stage in the investigation.
But it's sort of wild, Jack, even though he did reveal some details we didn't know.
Well, he did confirm that there were eight shots fired off by Thomas Crooks before he was killed by a counter sniper that Thomas Crooks visited That site three times a week before and then twice that day before the rally that he was found with explosive devices in his vehicle.
Still not sure, Jack, what vehicle they're referring to because there are conflicting reports that there was a white van involved.
You have bystanders, neighbors who saw this van being taken away.
But there are other reports that he drove a Hyundai to the site and then others still that he rode a bicycle there.
So we're still not exactly sure.
Did he use a van and a Hyundai?
But Christopher Wray did say that explosive devices were found both in his vehicle and at home.
His body was found with a receiver.
It was turned off, though, so there was no way to use those, what he also called rudimentary devices that day.
They said that he did not use the ladder, and we have other reports that, and I believe it was Senator Ron Johnson, Jack, who said that he climbed atop that roof using an air conditioner unit to help hoist him up there.
They did get his, his two cell phones were told.
One device at least has encrypted chat apps on it.
Christopher Wray said, oh, it was very hard to get in there.
We're not sure that we will get all the communications from that encrypted chat, which of course raises all sorts of red flags.
He said that they scoured the FBI's holdings.
Not sure, I guess that means all of their portals and offices, records, et cetera, for Crooks' name.
He was not on the FBI's radar screen, nor, Christopher Wray said, were any FBI employees, agents, et cetera, in communications with Crooks before on July 13th.
I'm calling BS on that.
Still don't believe it.
That there was not an FBI or even a DHS employer, someone undercover or some sort of asset in communication with Brooks because it's usually the case.
So he did tell us that, but he's sort of veering into the lone wolf territory, Jack.
He said, oh, he has devices, but he had a really short contact list.
And he didn't have a lot of communications that you would sort of assume with someone this age.
Well, he had two cell phones.
He had a laptop.
He had encrypted chats that he was using.
I believe he had encrypted bank accounts he was using overseas.
So they said that they looked at his search history.
He was looking up political articles and figures from both parties, et cetera.
So that's basically what we got out of Christopher Wray today.
Did he give a better performance check than he usually does?
Yes, no doubt about it.
He's not on the hot seat.
The FBI was not responsible for security that day.
However, don't be fooled.
We cannot rely on Christopher Wray and this corrupt partisan FBI to conduct A fair, impartial, thorough inquiry into what happened before and on July 13th without some sort of political cover-up operation as part of it.
Well, you know, by the way, Juliette, it occurs to me that one of the potential reasons for him using the two cell phones, not only, of course, to conceal who he may be speaking with, but also it could have been very much because, as you and so many others have reported, That it was FBI geofencing and geotargeting that was able to track lots of people on January 6th.
This has been used obviously in other cases, but I think most famously in that case.
And so this could potentially have even been an attempt on his part to evade geotargeting, worried perhaps about these Google searches and things that he had done.
that perhaps he was using a different cell phone because he was worried that he may be on some radar and was able to do so.
Now, that, of course, begs the question, how did he know how to do that?
Did someone inform that?
Was he on forums?
Was he talking to people online?
How did he know to use the electronic security measures for operational security to have a separate cell phone?
And in fact, by the way, if he really wanted to use electronic security, he wouldn't bring a cell phone at all to any of these things.
Or you'd be you'd be giving it to someone else, swapping SIM cards.
There's a variety of things you could be doing.
But what it strikes me as is that there's there are glaring errors here saying that, oh, this was just a lone wolf.
But we do actually see evidence of sophistication in some of his movements.
We've obviously gotten a number of people.
No, we certainly aren't.
And you know, Jack, the presence of an explosive.
Was it a Hyundai?
Was it a sedan?
Where was the bike?
Why did the bike have a rifle bag, etc., etc.?
But more importantly, Julie, we are not getting a lot of information about these explosives, are we?
No, we certainly aren't.
And you know, Jack, the presence of an explosive.
Now, recall, and Christopher Wray said this again today, this rally was publicly announced on July 6th, one week before, where Christopher Wray told House Judiciary Committee today is that on that day, Thomas Crooks Googled how close did Oswald come Thomas Crooks Googled how close did Oswald come to JFK's,
So we're supposed to believe that in a week's time, Thomas Crooks, a 20-year-old, we're told, is a loner, an outcast, again, fits the mold of individuals who the government targets to use for whatever political purposes they need to, that in a week's time,
He put together explosive devices, he got his hands on a drone, learned how to use it, which Christopher Wray said he used between 3.50 and 4 o'clock on the afternoon of July 13th, was live streaming it, about 10 minutes of footage that he took of Butler Farms, that site.
So we're supposed to believe he, and then he has become a sharpshooter, where he came within, to your point, a half inch of the president's head.
And did all of this undetected within a week's time?
None of that passes the smell test, Jack.
Especially, as you know, observing this FBI for the better part of a decade doing anything in its power to destroy President Trump, his family, his business, his associates, his advisors, like Steve Bannon.
Trump supporters, almost 1,500 now, have been arrested for January 6th and charged.
Something, by the way, Chris Wray took at least three occasions to brag about today, the number of convictions that the FBI has gotten out of J6ers.
So this just is impossible to believe.
But he did say, Christopher Wray, there's no evidence of any accomplices when he was asked by House Republicans.
No way.
And we possibly believe that.
And so this is, this is a massive, massive glaring error.
And it's something where, quite frankly, I wish that we had some, we need some real investigators here.
Look, I appreciate the congressmen and congresswomen who are in there for their efforts, but we need real investigators.

You know, it's such a good question, Jack.
There's such mixed results.
And to your point, you know, we were told what happened to the Weaponization Committee?
I think completely disappeared off the radar screen.
Another blue ribbon panel.
Unless we get a bunch of grandstanders, the Democrats have already said they're going to appoint Benny Thompson, who led the J6 committee.
The destroyed evidence is still burying evidence, and made up evidence, by the way.
They're going to put him on there, unless it's staffed like a J6 committee, who had over a dozen, I believe, former federal prosecutors, skilled investigators, the FBI, former FBI agents, and other law enforcement.

Julie Kelly, let's really drill down here, because so many of the things that Chris Wray has said are things that we just need more information on.
So he gives us a little bit, and then it ends up being a situation where we want to know more.
This is something where he should be forthcoming.
I do think that we need an investigation, but it needs to be a serious investigation.
I'd love to see actual investigators put on this thing.
Senator Johnson's office, by the way, has been fantastic.
As the kids say, he's got that dog in him.
I'd love to see him working on something on the Senate side where he's diving directly into the narrative.
He's smashing the narrative falseness whenever he can find it.
We've already seen a number of discrepancies and shortcomings.
What vehicle did he drive when he arrived there?
You know, basic things you'd think that we would know a week after.
By the way, if this was a regular murder investigation, those would be things that you would know within, generally, the first 24, 48 hours.
So the idea that we're still not getting all of this out really begs the question, what happened on that field in Butler?
It does.
What happened that day at the field and what happened the week before.
And that is the concern that we will not get straight answers from Christopher Wray on any of that, despite how forthcoming he appeared today, despite how forthcoming he said he was.
You know, it's a little ironic to have believed that Christopher Wray is going to tell us how Thomas Crooks learned how to assemble explosive devices and how he put those together and got the components for that, when more than three and a half years later, the same FBI still Has not found, arrested, or charged the January 6th pipe bomber.
And as far as we know, that investigation has been halted.
We get no updates on that.
That was supposed to launch, you know, the terror attack of January 6th, a terror attack that Christopher Wray calls it.
So how can we trust that he's going to figure out anything about Thomas Rex?
That we're going to get all the answers there.
But look, there are other entities, including the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph Khafari, who has already been stonewalled by Alejandro Mayorkas and other Secret Service officials in his inquiries into January 6th.
Jack, you may have reported this, and I've reported it for the past few weeks.
Mayorkas has had on his desk since April A copy of Joseph Ghaffari, the DHS IG's report, full investigation into DHS and Secret Service involvement or their role in January 6th.
He is sitting on that report.
We are told it may be released this week.
Politico said that.
But then there are reports today that, and this was a question by Representative Barry Loudermilk yesterday in a separate congressional hearing, asking another inspector general, If it was okay for a secretary of a department to threaten an IG about not releasing a report and then stonewalling other investigations.
This is what Mayorkas is doing now, wanting to sit on the J6 report from DHS, threatening Joseph Khafari, the inspector general, that he's not going to give him access to information in his inquiry into July 13th.
Which, of course, DHS oversees the Secret Service.
So these are the sort of political games cover-up that's already started, Jack.
So the DHS IG, Congressional Inquiries, FBI, that is what we are expected now.
What sort of overlap are we going to have?
How will the FBI prevent Congress from accessing the materials that it needs?
We also learned from Kim Cheadle on Monday She was already withholding records and documents that Congress has requested.
So the cover up has already begun.
The spinning has already begun, including by FBI Director Christopher Wray today.
That's why the American people are pretty confident that we will never get the truth about what happened up until and on that tragic day.
Well, look, and I'll put that out there as well, and I'm sure you will be dogged on this as you always are and others.

I've already been receiving information from law enforcement.
I've been receiving information from former law enforcement, from people who are contacts that got in and out of the area.
So that's Butler County, Beaver County, which had this emergency service unit that was there.
And There's a lot of questions as to what went on and why it was that Secret Service was not working directly with these agencies when it was supposed to be.
So again, basic questions as to, you know, Julie, step back for a second.
The reason that we have the FBI, the reason that we have the Secret Service, the reason that we give them all of this money and all of this funding and the Patriot Act and all of these powers is to stop people like Thomas Matthew Crooks.
But of course, they're not focused on left-wing terrorism like this guy and left-wing extremism.
No, they're focused on right-wing violence.
Isn't that right?
That's absolutely correct.
And that's why you see the double standard of justice again playing out yesterday and today, Jack.
You have pro-Hamas demonstrators who illegally occupied the Cannon House office building again.
They were arrested by Capitol Police but given a local citation, not federal criminal charges like the J6ers.
We're seeing this again today as they're disrupting Prime Minister Netanyahu's address to Congress.
That's not allowed either.
And, of course, now assaulting police officers.
Are they going to be dragged off, taken to the D.C.
Gulag, denied release by federal judges in Washington?
Languish there for two years before they go to trial for assaulting police officers?
Of course not.
So this is really, again, why Americans, at least on our side, and I think a big swath of so-called middle, absolutely does not trust our government to execute the laws fairly, to conduct fair, even-handed investigations, and bottom line, to tell us the truth.
And Christopher Wray, Kim Cheadle, the poster children for that this week, in addition to, of course, Merrick Garland, Exactly.
