Okay, so, hi there.
Alright, so Maxine Taylor is a very fascinating astrologer and author, and we've had her on my radio show for repeated times over the last few years.
This is January of 2015, and So I thought it was appropriate that she would come on the show and talk about what's going on in the world, any predictions she might have for the year, and also give people their horoscopes, I guess, sort of whatever brief reading she can give for the general astrological signs.
And then what we have as part of the show, Maxine, is a Skype, not a Skype, is a A chat box on live stream that allows people to type in their questions.
So what I ask people to do is, I don't have anyone to work with me as a show producer, so that means that I have to read the questions off a different computer.
Don't ask me why, because it's crazy that it doesn't come on this one.
So it's a distance away, so if you put it on all caps, I can differentiate between the idle chatter and And actual questions you want to ask Maxine.
So that's kind of how we operate.
And at this moment, Maxine, why don't you introduce yourself, talk about your latest books, and then we'll get right into the astrology.

Hello everybody out there.
What has just happened between me and Carrie on Skype is absolutely perfect for the retrograde Mercury.
And of course, Mercury is retrograde as I'm sure most of you know.
It's a fascinating time because nothing seems to be working.
I've been an astrologer since 1970 officially.
I started studying in 1966.
I'm an empath.
I'm a walk-in and I love helping people find their highest and best self through the horoscope.
I've written several books My last book is a science non-fiction book called The Earthbound Trilogy, and it's about two walk-ins and a hybrid extraterrestrial who help bring a crisis here on planet Earth.
They help resolve it.
And it's part of my credo.
All of the walk-in experiences in the book are true, including my own.

But I think, Carrie, right now it is so appropriate that we talk not just about the retrograde mercury but about when it's going to go direct because so many of my clients have had issues with the retrograde mercury.
And truly, I thought Everything was really cool.
My Skype works very well.
I'm not as adept at it as some people, but my video cam always works, except tonight.
But of course, good thing we know each other so well.
And I hope by the time I finish this show, everybody here will be laughing at the Retrograde Mercury and having a great time.
I bet that if we had a live audience We could just ask everybody to please tell their retrograde Mercury experiences.
So, for those of you for whom this may be redundant, please excuse me.
For those of you who are not familiar, the planet Mercury rules our conscious mind.
It rules our mouth and our minds.
And during this time, they're not working as a team.
Mercury appears to be moving backwards in the heavens.
It's not.
But from our vantage point here on planet Earth, it is.
And that backwards and confused is exactly how we feel here on planet Earth.
It's amazing.
Communications are all fouled up.
You tell somebody, I'll meet you over at Starbucks at 3 o'clock.
They wind up at Caribou Coffee.
It's absolutely a joke.
So, if you've encountered problems with computers, with technology, with your car, because new cars, of course, are run on computers, it will probably self-adjust when Mercury goes direct, and that will happen on February 11th.
One of my girlfriends said she had a countdown on a board in her office.
Counting down until February 11th when Mercury goes direct.
During the time that it's retrograde, you get incredible insights.
It's retrograde in the sign Aquarius, which is a brilliant sign.
It rules electricity.
It rules astrology.
And when it is retrograde, all things related to electronics, our bodies are electric.
Everything goes haywire.
Not every time.
You do not want to start a new project on the retrograde mercury because it's a time of rethinking, regrouping, revamping.
And if you start a new project, there's a real good chance that it'll either fizzle out or you'll have to redo it later.
Now, let's use logic and common sense.
If your refrigerator dies, go to Sears and get another or Best Buy or whatever.
Common sense says you're not going to wait until Mercury goes direct unless you want to use a huge chunk of ice and just sit your food on top of it.
If your car breaks down, of course you're going to have it fixed.
That's the type of thing.
Okay, on February 11th, Mercury will come to a screeching halt and things shift at that time in our lives, in our bodies, And what this means is that this is a time of instability when it's getting ready then to move forward, which it will on February 12th.
I'd like to describe to you where in your solar chart it is going to go direct.
For those of you who know your birth chart, Mercury will go direct in one Oh, that's okay.
Actually, I know.
Oh, you know?
Okay, good.
Cool.
I just pulled your chart up just to make sure.
Yeah, I have it in the third house.
So that's short-term trips, from what I understand, communications and I'm sure electronics and all those kinds of things.
So, you know, it's just figures.
Doesn't it, though?
I'm looking at it and it's retrograde in your third house.
So, of course, communication tonight is haywire.
How perfect.
How absolutely perfect.
So let me go through all of the signs.
Please.
And tell everybody.

Okay, Aries.
Mercury is going to go direct in your 11th house of friends and hopes and wishes.
And this is a terrific time to resolve issues with friends.
What I have seen is that just before Mercury goes direct, there can be arguments.
And you don't want arguments with your friends necessarily.
Or maybe you do.
Maybe you need to clear the air.
But it's in the 11th house of friends and group activities.
And you'll find that a day or two after Mercury goes direct, everything's really cool with your friends.
But on February 11th and 12th, you might want to just keep your distance.
I remember once before, knowing this, I stayed away from my best friend.
And we didn't text, we didn't email, we didn't call.
And as it happened, we bumped into each other and got into a bit of a discussion out of the clear blue sky, and I thought, oh, poo.
So this is just what happens.
Taurus, this Mercury goes direct in your house of your career, your leadership.
If you have been involved in a career project and it hasn't quite gone the way you want it to, things will start moving forward in your career after February 11th.
Carrie, if I forget, remind me to talk about the shadow of the retrograde.

Gemini, your ninth house of the higher mind.
Long distance travel is triggered.
The ninth house is the house of our beliefs and our philosophies and our principles.
And you can, in the ninth house, you spread your wings and you fly above the clouds.
This is an Awesome placement for seeing the big picture.
So, this is really cool for us, Keri, because the solar chart works.
It works magnificently hand in hand with the natal chart.
So, travel, the higher mind, seeing the big picture, and perhaps taking a stand for your principles.
That's you, Gemini.
Cancerians, I love it.
It's in your eighth house.
This is the house of magic.
This is the house of secrets.
Mundanely, it's the house of other people's money.
But because it's the house of secrets, you really want some solitude and privacy.
You are a psychic detective normally, but right now in particular.
You'll be looking beneath the surface to see what is really going on, and you may find that you bump right into, nose first, the answer.
To the question you've been looking for an answer for.
This is the house that unearths hidden secrets.
So, keep digging.
Leo, partnership is very strongly triggered, whether it's personal relationships, whether it's business relationships, if you deal with the public, this is the area, other people.
And so, if you're in a relationship and it has not been going the way you want, You're going to be able to resolve it and move forward after February 11th.

This is also the House of Contracts.
I didn't mention this, but you do not want to sign a contract, if at all possible, while Mercury is retrograde, simply because there can be something about the contract that you want to cancel or that fizzles out, that type of thing.
So you want to be aware of it.
When Mercury goes direct, your relationships will start moving forward.
Mercury goes direct in your natural house of the zodiac.
That's the sixth house of health and work and service.
And so if your job has been unsettled, if there's been a problem with your health, it will clear up and start moving forward, your job will, and your health.
After February 11th.
This is really favorable, really positive.
Libra.
This is the time for fun.
I don't care.
Just have a blast.
If you're not invited to parties, throw a party after Mercury goes direct.
Children.
If you have children, they are also triggered and they're going to want more of your attention.
If your kids have been driving you nuts, You will find a solution to dealing with them, whether they're 5, 15, or 50.
You know what I mean.
Kids are kids.
So the relationship that you have with your children will move forward after the 11th.
Scorpio.
The most powerful, most intense, all-or-nothing sign of the zodiac.
If you read old-time astrology books and read about Scorpio...
I don't know where these authors were coming from, but they make Scorpio, they malign Scorpio.
I adore Scorpio, and whenever I have a chance to talk about it, I always say, there's a wonderful expression, to be afraid, and not to care that you are afraid, is the courage of which Scorpio is made.
And this applies to the sun in Scorpio, moon in Scorpio, and Scorpio rising.
So, home, family, and real estate matters all come forward to be dealt with Scorpio on the 11th.
And if you're thinking of buying a house or moving or anything like that, after the 11th, go for it.
Sagittarius.
Ah, the third house of the zodiac is triggered.
And that's your conscious mind.
The third house deals with ideas.
The ninth house The higher mind deals with principles and concepts.
So, this is you, Sagittarius, communicating, talking, sharing ideas.
You're going to want to get in the car and go somewhere.
You'll get bored very, very easily.
Just keep moving.
Make your to-do list and keep on the move.

Capricorn.
Well, Capricorn, if you're a Capricorn, you don't mope, you don't hope, You cope.
And Capricorn appreciates the value of the dollar.
In fact, Capricorn appreciates the value of a quarter.
They can rub two coins together and really get change on the deal.
Capricorn, I'm thrilled to tell you that Mercury goes direct in your second house of money.
And so if your money has been held up, if you have not been creating the wherewithal that you like, After February 11th, hit the ground running.
And speaking of hitting the ground running, Aquarius...
Aquarius is the most unique sign of the zodiac.
Carrie, you may have noticed this also.
Every Aquarian is different.
They are humanitarian.
They believe that what is best for the whole is best for the individuals within the whole.
But no two Aquarians are alike.
They are innovative, they're inventive, and they ask themselves at least once a week, am I crazy or is the world crazy?
Okay.
Aquarius, Mercury goes direct in your first house.
This is the most personal house in the chart.
It describes you.
It describes your physical appearance and your personality and your temperament.
It is awesome.
And so your mantra With Mercury going direct in your first house is, out of my way.
Lead, follow, but get out of the way.
And you're hitting the ground running.
And last but not least, Pisces.
The natural house for Pisces, the strongest placement for a planet, for a Piscean, is the 12th house.
And Mercury goes direct in your 12th house of the spirit plane, of behind-the-scenes activities, You'll watch your solitude and your privacy.
The only problem that the 12th house presents is that there's a tendency for sadness and sorrow.
And I don't like to be negative in anything I do, but if I give you a heads up about this, you can counteract it by saying, ah, I was almost going to have a pity party, but I know not to.
And, of course, Mercury is, of course, going to be moving out of that 12th house.
So, Terry, that's the Mercury direct picture, but I want to talk about the shadow of the retrograde Mercury.
After Mercury goes direct, which is great, on the 11th, it has to move back up to that point at which it went retrograde.
Well, it went retrograde at 17 degrees of Aquarius.
So what this means is we have to wait until March 3rd for all of the symptoms of the retrograde mercury to disappear.
And you might say, I know, I know, this is just ridiculous.
But when I realized that...
I never read this in a book.
I never learned it.
I saw it firsthand and I didn't know what to call it.
And a friend of mine just a few years ago said, oh, it's the shadow of the retrograde mercury.
And I said, you know, I've been talking about it without labeling it.
So, you will still probably have remnants, symptoms of the retrograde mercury, which means you can still tie up the loose ends of unfinished projects.
But after March 3rd, we are out of the woods.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, pass the pancakes.

Mercury going direct, Carrie, and everybody.

So, for people's benefit, Maxine, can you talk a little bit about the philosophy behind The kind of astrology you do and why you think it's still valid now.
You know, and maybe wrap in maybe what you know of other disciplines of astrology that perhaps you don't use and how they interact.
Oh, sure.
Well, I use Western astrology.
For those of you who study astrology, I use Tropical Placidian.
There are many types of house systems and people One man in particular, a brilliant young man, asked me what system I used.
I said, Tropical Placidian.
And he said, why?
And I said, nobody's ever asked me that before.
It's because it works.
There is a synchronicity between the macrocosm and the microcosm.
God, in my belief, is an inside job.
I don't think there is an external deity looking down on us.
Blessing us or cursing us.
I think we create our own reality.
We created this horoscope, our natal chart, prior to incarnating, and it is the game plan for this lifetime.
And if you will look at it as a movie, as a game plan, think of it as a football game or a basketball game.
If you look at your life, your chart, as an outsider, Watching a movie about your life, number one, it will help you put things in perspective.
Because as you get older, you realize things are never as good as they appear or as bad as they appear.
And when I read a chart to somebody, what I have learned over these many decades I have walked this planet is that whatever you believe, if you can feel it, you can create it.
There are so many stories that I could share about that.
The book that I really love that I wrote back a few years ago, a couple of years ago, is called Move Into The Magic.
And the beauty of Move Into The Magic is it helps you get beyond, this goes beyond astrology, it helps you look at the commitments that you made as a child very, very simply because those commitments Create the movie of your life, your life's story.
And once you discover what they are, then all you have to do is release them and rewrite them.
And so what I do when I read somebody's chart, because I'm an empath, I become them.
Carrie, I know you felt it when I looked at your chart.
There is no judgment.
There's no good or bad.
Well, it's all good.
My mantra is, There's nothing wrong with you.
Deal with it.
We are told, from the time that we're children, what's wrong with us?
And we're trying so hard to get good enough, and many people just to cover our butts.
And what I've got to say is, you are marvelous, just like you are.
And this is your game plan that you have selected prior to incarnating, and it's a marvelous game plan.
When you think of it as a movie, Think of what kind of movies you like.
Some people like horror movies.
Some people like animated movies.
Some people like romantic comedies.
Some people are just a calamity Jane.
They're an accident waiting for a place to happen.
And you say, my God, why would they create that?
Answer is very simple.
Why do we play a game?
Because it's fun.
And you know people who just love talking about all their calamities.
Or all of their conquests.
Or all of their money.
It's all a delightful game.
And when you look at it that way, you can find a way out of any situation.
So when I read your chart to you, I'm vibrating at the same level you are.
We are in training.
Not in training, but in training.
We are entangled.
And we become one.
And it's a delightful experience.
Time stops.
And every chart I read, I love.
The person loves their chart because there's no judgment on it.
There cannot be any judgment.
And we all know people who tend to be very, very judgmental.
Well, if they read your horoscope, they're going to tell you what's right or wrong.
I've had so many clients over the years say to me, okay, Now you've told me the good stuff.
Tell me the bad stuff.
And I honestly have to say, I don't see it as bad.
Because if, let's say for example, it shows that your money is going to be tight for six months.
It's going to be an issue.
Well, then I'll tell you that.
And then I'll tell you, we'll talk about how you can work through it.
What you can do to create the money that you need.
Because we use common sense along with it.
In other words, it's all good.
I don't mean pie in the sky.
I don't mean airy fairy.
I don't mean blow and smoke.
I mean, you have a choice every waking moment.
Terry and I could have thrown up our hands and just said, this is ridiculous, but we were laughing about the mercury retrograde with Skype tonight.

Well, I'd like to continue talking.
Everybody still wants to hear about themselves, naturally.
Yes, always.
So, why don't I go through the forecast for all 12 signs, and then we'll go into a larger picture for the country, etc., etc.
I'll give snippets, so to speak, on some of our leaders.
You know Hillary Clinton, has two birth times, one at a.m., one at p.m., and this came up recently, so I've got little things I can say about some of our people in the news.
But people say, I just want to hear about me, so let me talk about each of the signs through this year.
Okay.
And that will take up a good bit of time, but Everybody says, I don't care.
Just tell me about me.
So I will.
That's exactly what I will do.
Let's start with Aries.
Now this is your solar chart for 2015 and the beauty of having this is that it does apply.
The Sun sign astrology works if you use the full chart.
So Aries, you have been You've been rebellious and unpredictable for a few years now because Uranus has been going through your sign and you have been very unpredictable, ready to bust loose, ready to do things your way and you've been doing that.
Now the first half of the year, your home and family, excuse me, you're going to be very creative.
By the second half of the year, you will be blessed at work.
This is awesome and it means you'll be enjoying your work more.
Right now you're enjoying your free time.
Solitude and privacy are incredibly important to you all during the year and there's a part of you that's ready to bust loose.
The eclipse patterns this year emphasize you and other people and you and other people You may be thinking of totally transforming your career.
You may have already done so, because Pluto has been triggering that.
But you'll find that by the second half of the year, you're going to be able to stand back and see the big picture.
Right now, there's an intensity you're going through.
And of course, with Mercury retrograde, we're all in the same boat.
But this is a great year.
To prepare for your career moving up to the top of the chart, so to speak, in another two and a half years.
So plan now.
Taurus, you've been rebelling but nobody's seen it.
It's been private and it's going to continue because your solitude and privacy are very important to you.
You have found that you're adoring being with your friends, which is wonderful.
Partnership, very interesting.
Either it has been restrictive or you've been able to find somebody very special.
If you haven't found anybody special by the second half of the year, you should prepare to do so because you're ready to play.
You're ready to have fun.
So you've got work and fun.
Both triggered this year.
And I realize 12 months is a long time, and I'm speaking about a long period of time, but this is what you have created for yourself this year.

Writing books, starting new programs.

Fabulous.
For the second half of the year, you're probably going to want to spend more time at home enjoying your home and family.
With Neptune in your solar 10th house, Gemini, for the next several years, take your dream and put it into operation.
Neptune rules make-believe.
It rules movies.
It rules our dream.
This is the time, these next several years, To take your dream and put it into operation.
The first half of the year, you're working hard.
You're establishing yourself.
The second half of the year, focus on partnership, whether it's personal or business.
This is awesome.
It's like you're getting real when it comes to partnership.
But when it comes to friends, they're so unpredictable.
They're fine one day and gone the next.
So, enjoy them while they're here, and in particular, have a blast, because fun is definitely triggered in your solar chart.
Cancerians!
Now, by the way, as I'm talking about these sun signs, think of your rising sign, because that is how, if you have a Cancer ascendant, this is you too.
You've been unpredictable.
The world is seeing a very different side of you, isn't it?
Yeah, you're finally doing your own thing.
But you're feeling controlled by other people.
You have been for a while.
You have allowed other people to pull the reins.

You may find that you want to control right back in return.
My suggestion would be that you transform your partnerships, if you possibly can, by allowing the person to do their own thing Without you reacting to it.
It's a challenge, isn't it?
You'll be working harder the second half of the year, but that's a good thing.
Because you'll get your work established.
Right now, though, the first half of the year, you should be able to pull in some money.
I love the way that looks.
And if you're thinking of writing a book, the second half of the year is the time to do it.

Great, grand, glorious Leo.
Your optimism runs high.
And by the second half of the year, after you've really come into your own and you're having a blast, that's when your money picks up.
So if you are waiting for money, the second half of the year looks great.
Your whole philosophy of life has been undergoing a transformation.
You're seeing things differently.
You're breaking loose.
You're doing it your way.
And you're open to new concepts and ideas.
You may feel controlled at work.
That is possible.
And the second half of the year, if you have children, you're going to feel a strong responsibility toward them.
Your oldest child, in particular, may be taking charge of his or her life, which would be great for you.
That's what you want.
You want them taking charge.
So that you don't have to baby them.
And once again, this applies to all children, whether they're 5 or 35.
Virgo.
This is a very important year for you.
You come into your own the second half of the year.
The first half of the year, you really want your solitude and privacy.
You can establish a new home base during this year, which is really cool.
If you want to buy a new house, if you want to renovate the old house, the second half of the year is when you want to do it.
You may find that you're crazy about people.
You love the one-on-one relationship.
But have you found sometimes that wishful thinking enters the picture?
And you can see people as larger than life, greater than they are, and that tends to be disappointing.
Keep your eyes, both eyes open.
And this is a year to focus on money.
Absolutely.
I love the way this looks.
Libra.
Okay.
Libra, you are the sign of partnership and balance.
And this is a year, particularly in the springtime, you're going to come into your own and say, my way or the highway.
If you have had any financial restriction, the second half of the year loosens it up for you.
You want to take your dream and put it into action in your job.
I don't know what dream you may have had, but go for it.
Absolutely.
And if the people that you're close to are unpredictable, just let them be.
Do your own thing your way, particularly in April, the first week in April, when we have an eclipse.
And enjoy your friends.
But the second half of the year, enjoy your own solitude and privacy.
Scorpio.
Powerful Scorpio.
Your career expands the first half of the year.
It is great.
You're popular.
You are the leader.
Second half of the year, you can focus on your friends because your friendship circle increases beautifully.
You have come into your own over the past two and a half years.
You've been strong.
You've taken charge.
And the second half of this year is when you're going to get really clear on your finances.
Romance, definitely.
It's very important to you.
Are you an artist?
Your creative side is very strong.
Your inspiration, very strong.
Focus on your work because you may want to change jobs at least once during the year.

I do notice that you did say there are going to be some eclipses, and it might be helpful if you could talk a little bit about the eclipses and your philosophy on how they affect people during that time.
I'd love to, yes.
Well, In the forecast that I just gave everybody, I included the eclipse patterns.
I may not have verbalized them, but I've included them.
So let me tell you how I use eclipses in my practice.
Whenever we have an eclipse, things happen.
Now you've got to understand where I'm coming from, and I'm going to back up here just for a quick second.
I don't believe that the planets make us do anything.
I think they reflect the synchronicity I mentioned earlier between the macrocosm and the microcosm, between God and man.
And in the Bible it says that God put the planets, the stars, and the heavens for signs.
Well, they are signs.
I'm honored to be able to read them.
Carrie, I know you can read them also, and many of our listeners can read them.
They are signs.
They are mirrors reflecting where we are at.
So when I say an eclipse makes you do this, that makes is in quotes, or something triggers something.
That's in quotes.
It doesn't make you do anything, but it mirrors.
It shows you what you are about to do.
And if you know this, you can amplify the energy from it.
Eclipses occur in pairs, usually within a month of each other, and we feel the effects of an eclipse, feel in quotes, okay, until the next pair come along, which are usually about five months later.
However, they're really strongest three to four months after they occur.
Well, interestingly enough, we are feeling the effects of the previous October eclipses.
So not only is Mercury retrograde right now, and so things are naturally confused, but we're feeling the effects of the previous eclipses, and I think this might be a really good time to describe them.
There are two eclipses that we had in October.
They are literally at their peak right now.
Let me do the October 8th eclipse first, and then the October 23rd eclipse.
And I'll tell you what was triggered in your chart, which areas of life were triggered.
And, of course, it's different for each sign, naturally.
So, the October 8th eclipse, Aries.
You're doing your thing your way.
You're doing it the way you...
You're doing what you want, when you want, how you want, because you can.

In terms of the eclipses, so what you're saying, you're reading these very short sort of Excerpt-type things, saying that this is an area of focus that people had back during the eclipse in early October, and that now it's coming back into the fore.
Is that what you're saying?
It's not only coming back.
It's been with us since then.
It is at its peak.
It is strongest now, January and February.
Just count down three to four months from October.
Okay.
It's January.
So this is, we are quote-unquote feeling these eclipses, unquote, because they are at their peak right now.
Okay.

And then there's another set of, as you say, they come in pairs.
So now the second pair, you're going to go through that?
The second eclipse.

The second of the pair, yes.

You know what I did to prepare for this was I did forecasts on various people.
I spent the whole day doing it.
And from that I found snippets that I can use because, you know, you may or may not be interested in hearing about what different people are doing.
I naturally was looking at things like Cuba.
Well, to find the actual chart of Cuba is a joke.
Because there are different charts, like the United States, as you know, the charts for the United States.
There are several of them.
The one I use has the Gemini Ascendant.
I resonate with it.
But I'd like to start.
Let's just jump in.
I cannot do political presidential predictions, because we don't know who the candidates are yet.
But Carrie, I promise, That when they are announced, I will do what's called a diurnal chart on each of them, assuming their birth time is accurate.
As I said, if Hillary throws her hat in the ring, we have an a.m.
and a p.m.
birth time for her.
8 a.m.
or 8 p.m.
And I'll get to that in a minute.
But with these diurnal charts, they are so dead on accurate.
That I can predict who will win the election.
And I did that the last two elections, when President Obama was elected in 2008 and then re-elected in 2012, because the diurnals were so clear.
So let me just talk about the President's chart briefly, because there's so much going on that people want to know about.
Now, I don't have to tell anybody on this I'm on the line now, that we only see what we are told.
The chart will tell you more than what we are told.
And there's always behind-the-scenes activity in the chart of a politician.
I have yet to see any...
I mean, it just is there.
When I look at the President's chart, the planet Saturn, which makes things tangible and practical, It has already been at the top of his chart.
It's going to be there July through September.
Whenever you or I or anyone has Saturn on the midheaven, the very top of the chart, you are at the top of your game.
You hang tough.
It is the opportunity to create what you want.
And I don't know how this is going to play out, but President Obama has Saturn on his midheaven between July and September.
What this tells me is that there are many things he's going to be doing, or I shouldn't say many.
He is going to solidify his presidency in some way, shape, manner, or form.
During that time.
Now, I have to tell you, before any of you say anything, I am totally apolitical.
I have a view of politics that's rather unique.
Bottom line is, I don't believe anything I'm told.
I have to see it in the chart.
And so, politics, I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican.
I'm an objective observer.
So, it'll be very interesting to see what all President Obama does during this year, the rest of the year, because, of course, 2016 is, you know, a new term of office, a new president coming in.
I think we'll find that in September that we're going to be dealing more, he will be dealing more, with our open enemies In his chart, I do not see behind-the-scenes activities the way I have in other people's charts.
Very, very interesting.
So I think it's going to be out front.
He's going to let it all hang out, and we're going to see it.
I don't know what that means or how it's going to manifest, but it sure is interesting.
Now, I mentioned Cuba because They're just 93, 94 miles from our shore, and lo and behold, we're visiting Cuba.
Things are opening up between Cuba and the United States.
I looked to see when Cuba was born, if I possibly could, and my computer program said it was in 18...
What do they say here?
1898.
But actually, the United States handed over control to Cuba on May 20th, 1902.
I'm not sure which chart is which.
So I looked instead at Raul Castro's chart, because as the president goes, particularly in a communist country, or maybe they're socialists, I don't know, so goes the country.
We do not have a birth time for Raul, but I was able to look at his chart and what it shows all over the place.
And for those of you who might be interested, he was born June 3rd, 1931 in Buran, Cuba.
But with a solar chart, you don't use a place at birth.
You just use a solar chart.
He's busting loose.
He is rebelling.
He is truly ready for fun.
He's ready to speculate, and he's ready to bring more art and more fun into his life, which, of course, he will do by opening the doors to the United States and, I guess, whoever else wants to come through the doors.
His leadership ability increases.
His fun increases.
But, you know, we have had a Uranus-Pluto square going on for A few years now, and this has created incredible unpredictability all over the place, all over the world.
And so he is absolutely, he's doing a 180 degree.
That's what he's doing.
2015, 2016, 2017, 18, and 19.
And so this is just the beginning of a total transformation.
In his life, which I would imagine is going to reflect on his entire country in light of what's been going on.
Carrie, I know you know astrology.

Well, what I've done here is I'm putting on the sort of screen, there's a place called, well, it's sort of called Astrolab, but the actual URL is alab.com.
And it shows what they call astroweather for the current day, a chart.
And then they show you where the planets are and so on.
So it is rather interesting.
I don't know if you're familiar with that website.
their information and get a free chart, which is fairly comprehensive.
And so it seems to be a pretty good idea.
In other words, I think people like to know where we're at right this minute in terms of astrology and where I appreciate that you're reading for various governmental leaders and
Maybe what people would be most interested in is, do you see in the chart, for example, I don't know whether you did this investigation, but the chart of the United States, any major events or turns in the next year?
In other words, during 2015, do you see anything major?
Oh yeah, let me pull up the United States chart.
Now there are several, as I know that you know, there are several charts that different astrologers use for the United States.
Sure.
I use the one with Gemini rising.
It resonates with me.
And let me just say, to those of you who are familiar with astrology, you know that the chart that resonates is the one you want to use.
It's that simple because each one of these charts is a crystal ball.
Gaze into it and you see what you need to see.
Okay, first of all, I'm going to give some of the astrological configurations for those people who understand astrology.
This will be very, very helpful.
Saturn is going through the United States' sixth house.
The sixth house is work, health, and service, but it also deals with The health of the public.
Well, what have we been looking at?
Obamacare.
It deals with our civil servants.
Police have been killed.
It deals with police.
It deals with our Army, Navy, and all the military.
It deals with police, as I mentioned, but it deals with the working people.
And with Saturn moving through the United States Sixth House, we have been dealing with health and service And all kinds of things related to that.
Neptune has been squaring our ascendant.
It will continue to do so in 2016.
What this says is that there is a confusion.
People in our country are confused, and I think they are.
I think they're showing that it's going to continue through 2016.
Believe it or not, this is a good thing because it helps keep Our options open.
I wish, wish, wish that there were some way that I could get the chart of ISIS, because I would love to look at that chart and share it with our listeners, our viewers, if Skype were working, of course.
Okay.
As Saturn moves into our seventh house, which it will in November and December, We're going to be getting tougher with our open enemies.
No, this does not mean a war, but what it means is we're getting tougher with them.
Politics in general is the seventh half.
Okay, I have actually got the chart of the United States on here for people to see, and I see where the planets are, just so people, if you see where this sort of orange ball is, You can see where I'm directing the attention.
This is telling you where the planets are now.
And you were just talking about Saturn in Sagittarius.
What that means for people that are interested is we see that Sagittarius is on the seventh house.
So there's Sagittarius seven degrees according to this particular U.S. chart.
It does have the Gemini rising.
And so that means that Sagittarius is going into the seventh house.
That sounds like a rather good placement for Sagittarius.
See, I love that.
I love it.
I'm not afraid of Saturn.
Saturn is the planet of fear, traditionally.
To me, it's the planet of responsibility and respond to your ability.
And what this says to me is that if we can respond to our ability with our open...
Enemies, the ones we know about.
That's going to strengthen us.
Right.
Well, there's also the people that say, and I don't know if you prescribe to this, but when Saturn goes through a house, it also brings rewards.
In other words, you reap what you sow.
If you're going to get bad things, you get bad things.
If you're going to get positive things, you get positive things.
So in other words, you see the spoils of whatever it is you've done, I guess you might call it.
So it sounds like that's kind of what's going to go on there.
The seventh house being the house of partnerships, wouldn't you say?
And maybe you can...
I don't know in terms of country where that goes, but it's interesting...
In terms of country partnerships, for example.
Well, the Seventh House, when we talk about partnerships, we're talking about our allies.
We're talking about alliances.
We're going to tighten up our alliances.
The Seventh House is also our open enemy.
And Saturn is the planet of reality, so we're going to deal more realistically with them.
And this has nothing to do...
With what Congress says, with what people say, Senators, this is what we're going to be doing.
And I think it's awesome.
I think it's terrific.
And I want to mention also, I'm sure that the eclipses are not shown for now, because I'm going to be talking about an eclipse that's coming up April 4th.
And this is an eclipse on our Saturn in the 5th house.
Of the United States chart.
The Fifth House deals with large gatherings of political leaders.
It's fun.
It's games.
It's schools.
It's elementary schools.
It's congressional and public hearings.
And so the eclipse is on Saturn, and it's making school, education, and all kind of public hearings very tangible.
That's in our birth chart.
The eclipse on April 4th It triggers that.
It squares our sun.
And are you still of the opinion, though, that in essence it may be triggered in April 4th, as you're saying, but not manifest until four or five months later?
Is that what you would say?
No, no.
It manifests a week ahead.
Before the eclipse, you feel it a week ahead.
Okay.
It hits, and then three to four months later...
It's really just like a full moon.
Okay.
It just comes to a head, which is really, really cool.
Now, that eclipse is trying the midheaven and the moon.
And if you'll show everybody the moon in 18 degrees of Aquarius in our 10th house, the 10th house is our leader.
The 10th house is the president.
And our country has an Aquarius moon in 18 degrees.
Carrie, I'm sure you know this already, but I'm going to share with our listeners, former viewers, current listeners, the fact that President Obama has an 18-degree Aquarius ascendant.
Ah, so he has the moon.
The moon of the United States is conjunct his ascendant.
Yes, and his ascendant, you know, conversely, or along with it, is conjunct the moon.
The moon is the subconscious mind.
It pulls things from the past.
The ascendant is a very powerful placement.
The karma involved with having the president's ascendant on the moon in the United States chart.
I mean, it was a definite, supposed to be, so to speak.
Absolutely incredible.
It'll be interesting to see How all of this shakes out after Uranus and Pluto stopped squaring each other, which they will in 2016.
Very, very interesting.
Okay.
And I feel it's very karmic with half his descendants on the United States moon, because then he personally affects our public image.
And you might say, well, doesn't every president?
Yeah, but this is a much more karmic situation.
Okay?
Yep.
Okay, and so that's...

Here we go.
I think the biggest thing is that with the United States chart, Saturn crossing our 7th cusp, huge.
And we have a grand square formed between transiting Uranus in the 11th, transiting Pluto in the 8th, excuse me, natal Saturn in the 5th, And able Sun in the second.
And so we have some very powerful aspects coming up.
And Saturn in that seventh house, we're going to deal very realistically with our allies and our enemies.
Don't you think it's interesting that both allies and enemies, open enemies, show up in the same house?
Yes, absolutely.
Well, I guess that's the general interpretation of sort of partnerships or relationships, in other words, being in opposition or in alignment.
And doesn't that just describe earthly relationships?
Sure.
I mean, the seventh house in a person's chart is also the house of divorce.
So you've got marriage and divorce showing up in the same house.
Fascinating.
Fascinating psychological thing.
So, in terms of one other question here, you know, I'm seeing that Pluto is in Capricorn right now.
Yes.
As has been.
Okay.
And that's a pretty slow-moving planet, but it's also, Pluto rules the atomic, and it is transformation, some people might say destruction, and As well as transformation.
So that placement of Pluto and Capricorn with regard to the United States, maybe you should talk a little bit about that.
Absolutely, absolutely.
Pluto in the eighth house, the eighth house of a person's chart is secret.
Traditional astrology says it's sex, death, and good to the dead.
I have to write a book with that title, Carrie, because it's such a grabber.
In the United States chart, in a mundane chart, it rules, well, in a person's chart, it rules other people's money.
In a country's chart, it rules the treasurer, not the treasury, the 11th house is the treasury, but the treasurer, taxes, debts, debts, it is our debt.
As Pluto moves through that 8th house, Pluto is the natural ruler of the 8th house in the natural zodiac.
And so here is Pluto totally wreaking havoc, totally transforming our taxes, our mutual funds with other people.
This is debts that other countries owe us.
However, what it's been doing, it's been in opposition to the planets in our second house.
It's in opposition to our sun, still in opposition to our sun.
So it affects our own personal income, the income of the people.
It rules the banks and the stock exchange, but it also squares Saturn.
And so a T-cross is formed between transiting Pluto, the second house of money, and the fifth house.
Of congressional hearings and large gatherings of people.
I mean, we've had so many sit-ins and walk-ins and, you know, all kind of stuff going on since Pluto has been in that 8th house, squaring everything.
The empty arm of that key cross is the 11th house of legislation and the Treasury, Congress, and Congressmen.
And so this year, not just this year, but since President Obama was re-elected, the Republicans have not been kind to him.
In fact, I think they said they want him out of office.
And so you can see the emphasis of that T-Cross.
There it is right there.
Congress is the focal point of that.
Okay, but correct me if I'm wrong here, because I'm just looking at this, but it looks like, according to this chart for the United States, that the United States has the placement of Pluto in Capricorn in the birth chart of the country.
Yes, it does.
And therefore we have a return of Pluto in Capricorn at this time.
Not yet.
Pluto is in 27 Capricorn.

I will tell you exactly when that will happen, because I have an ephemeris here for the 21st century.
Pluto will be in 27 of Capricorn.
Give me a second here, sweetheart.

In 2021.
Let me double-check on that.
Oh, wow.

And I'll tell you what this means.

2021, 2022.
Because, you know, it retrogrades.
Right.
Well, it's going to...
Well, but it is going...
In essence, what you've got is that is a very long time for Pluto to be in that house and also crossing over, having a Pluto return, in essence.
That's got to be completely transformative for the country.
Totally, totally.
And it's in the Ninth House.
Now, in a person's chart, the Ninth House is the higher mind.
It's religion.
Well, actually, it's not religion.
It's your relief system.
But in a mundane chart, it's the upper courts.
It's science.
It's travel.
It's education.
It's advertising.
But I also personally see it as the belief system of the country, the principles on which this country was based.
And Pluto in the Ninth House, any Ninth House, says that the philosophy of the person, and we'll call the United States a person for this description, is one of control or transformation.
With a Pluto return, It has to be transformation.
There's no question about it.
And then, Pluto, in the 2020s, is going to cross the South Node.
Now, the South Node, in a human chart, is what you've brought forth from past lives.
It is the thing that you are innately...
Drawn to.
And if you spend too much time there, it can drain you.
So you want to use the North Node, which is in our third house.
Okay, this is true of anybody's chart.
The South Node is what you've mastered in a past life.
The North Node is your greatest area of fulfillment and satisfaction.
So, we're talking about Pluto moving into the ninth house, which it will.
By 2019, and then crossing a Pluto return, which is going to totally transform our belief systems, our travel as well.
This is long distance travel.
And I would imagine, Carrie, that at that point in time we should be in space.
I mean, not just experimentally.
Okay, well, I'd say we've been there for a while, but it is interesting.
I mean, officially, thank you.
Yes, we've been there for quite a while, but officially, yeah.
Now, there is, I mean, people that would look at portents and would look at, you know, that sort of thing, would definitely see that there are seeds of...
In transformation, there is destruction.
So with Pluto and Capricorn, you just can't avoid the fact that you're going to have a breakdown in the United States, a transformation.
And it's important for people to understand that this is true in people's lives as well.
In other words, you need to clear the decks in order to bring in the new.
So that's kind of what may be going on here.
And I've had...
Some whistleblowers actually talk about that.
There's a lot of negative talk right now about the United States, a lot of negative talk about the dollar, about what's going on here.
But this, in a sense, what this could mean is that there is going to be a cleaning of the house and that ultimately something completely new will emerge from this country as a result.
So I wouldn't completely abandon all thoughts of any kind of positive progress in terms of the country right now.
It is interesting to look at a country's chart with the same perspective you might see.
Apply to a human because there's no reason to necessarily give up hope.
Why would anybody give up hope?
Well, I mean, you know, we live in a time when people are extremely sort of burnt out and cynical.
The writing is on the wall in some very negative ways about the country and the way it's been conducting itself on so many levels.
And so looking for hope is not always easy for people in terms of the destiny, if you want to call it that, or the future of the United States.
So these are kinds of maybe tools that you can use to analyze hope.
What could come in the future, where change can come, and where positive change can come.
So in terms of anything else that you see on the horizon, Maxine, or is there anything else that you wanted to talk about before we go to questions in the chat?
And we've already kept you for a while here.
Well, you know, when you and I get together, we just come alive.
So, you know, I'll be able to tell an intel side of things, and so they decide to interrupt.
Either that or livestream itself is going through some mercury retrograde issues, and they're not able to keep a connection.

I think what happens is, and I've heard this from many people, they're upset because the old ways are no longer working.

And I think that's one of the biggest complaints because they're afraid.
Well, if you cling to something, And it is on its way to being transformed.
You're going to be swept away with it.
I think it's real important to recognize that when, as you said, when there is destruction, there is rebuilding.
And it's always better.
It is a whole new world.
We are visited by extraterrestrials.
There are walk-ins everywhere.
It is a new world, and I'm very excited about it.
I'm very excited to be part of it and to help bring it in.
But when you cling to the past, it makes you fearful and it makes you angry.
No, things are not the way they were, nor will they be.
But think of the pioneers.
Think of our ancestors.
They came over here not knowing what they would find.
And here we are, On computer nowadays, I mean, it always works out for the best.
Now, there are people who are frightened and negative.
I don't think that way.
I look at what...

I look at why it was created.
And the truth is, we're all part of the creation.
So the bottom line is, how do you want it to be in your life?
You can make it any way you want.
If these planetary transformations, if Uranus, if Pluto, are not doing anything in your chart, what is there to be afraid of?
The United States is not going down the tubes.
It is headed for a major transformation, and I think that once this latest political period is over, and when I say this political period, I mean the fighting going on, the infighting, the The desire to,
I mean, the congressional versus presidential, the Democrats versus the Republicans, you know, when they grow up, they pull up their big girl panties and their big boy pants, and they look to the country and say, all right, now, let's look at the big picture.
What can we do for our nation?
It is not about Getting this one out of office or that one out of office.
It's about focusing ahead.
You remember, Carrie, one of the times you interviewed me a couple of years back and we were talking about UFOs and when will the government admit that we've been contacted?
And my thing the whole time is, Why are you asking the government to admit to it?
They're not going to.
Let's just move forward ourselves.
We know what's going on.
Let's just do it!
Instead of acting like children and saying, but mommy doesn't agree with me.
Daddy doesn't acknowledge me.
Quit blaming.
Grow up.
What kind of world do you want to live in?
Do you want to have to carry fire arms?
Do you want to be invaded?
Or do you want to be a planet of love?
And I want to be a planet of love and peace and wealth and happiness.
And I think after Uranus and Pluto are finished doing their thing, which will be in 2016, which is very interesting because there's a new election during that time, I think we'll be able to move forward.
Okay, well, very, very well said.
At this moment, what I put on the screen, just for people, just so you can look at this, and I know that a lot of people who listen aren't necessarily astrologers, but I can say that if you look where the planets are now, and you want to apply it to your, and you know your own chart, and you have a copy of it, then you can actually take where the planets are, sort of place them in the particular houses where they are, and see whether they Interact with any of the planets.
So there's a certain amount of work you can do on your own.
And then just use your logical mind to associate when you hear that the Sun is in Aquarius or the Moon is in Gemini.
And see if the Moon, you know, that the Moon, the transiting Moon where it is now, is actually in a certain house in your chart or the Sun.
These are areas where your life is triggered by their presence, so to speak, and you can take advantage of that energetic.
So there's a way for people to do their own sort of homemade astrology, if you will, once you understand which each symbol means, what they all mean.
Now, what I'd like to do is, just before I let you go, is to get some questions here.
And again, if people are listening and want to put questions in, would they do so in all caps?
And so I see a couple questions here.
There was one earlier on that wasn't in caps.
Someone here is asking, isn't astrology supposed to help you time things more effectively?
Definitely.
Definitely.

Absolutely.
The timing.
We started our show talking about timing.
Mercury is retrograde.
Don't start a new project and if electronics don't work for you today or till maybe Mercury goes direct on February 11th, laugh it off.
If you know that Mercury is retrograde, for example, You will not be disappointed.
You will not be upset when your computer doesn't work, when your phone doesn't work, when your car needs help.
And the beauty of the timing is you know when it will work.
And interestingly enough, because Mercury is, for example, in Aquarius, which rules electricity and electronics, these electronic things tend to self- They just get better all by themselves.
And you think, well, how did that happen?
You may have to take your computer into the shop.
But be prepared and just roll with it.
When you have an eclipse, you know, okay, there's an eclipse coming.
Yay!
Where is it in my chart?
How can I make the most of it?
And I know that three to four months from now, it's going to really be kicking butt.
Wonderful!
If it shows that you're going to be spending a lot of money, you know, you're going to pass a shop window and you've just got to have that outfit, okay, you may have to put it on a credit card because it shows that your money is going to be, you're going to get a little carried away with money, enjoy it, or wait until the thing goes on sale.
So timing is everything.
That question is terrific.

Someone else is asking, have you read, I guess they mean, have you read an astrological chart for Pope Francis or for Putin?
Oh, I've got Putin's chart right here.
And you and I did.
Remember, we tried to get Pope Francis's birth time and we couldn't get it.

When he was ordained, yeah, when he took office.

9.30 in the morning in St.
Petersburg, Russia.
He is a Libra with a strong 12th house, Scorpio ascendant, and a Gemini moon.
Pluto is his most highly elevated planet.
Pluto, Karen and I have been talking about Pluto, the planet of control or transformation.
And so his public image is one of being in control.
He learned about control when he was one year old.
You can see it as the cuffs move forward.
The packed 12th house in his chart tells us that there's much that goes on behind the scenes in his life that relates to his ideas, that relates to his fun and games, and that relates to Secrets of all types.
So, when you have a strong 12th house, there's a lot about your life that is nobody else's business.
Well, he is the president, I guess that's his title, of Russia.
And there's lots that is secret.
His whole public image, though, is one of control.
And you can see it on his face.
He wanted to be the leader within...
His second year of life.
I don't mean of Russia, but the ruler of his ascendant is right there on, right smack dab on his mid-heaven.
And he has his south node, Kerry, which is what you have mastered in past lives.
His south node is 20 Leo, his mid-heaven is 21 Leo, and Pluto is 22 Leo.
So he has mastered control in past lives.
It's a real good idea for him to use his North Node, which is in Aquarius, as being the humanitarian.
But I can't imagine who he might have been in one of his past lives, but he was absolutely in control.
And it's all or nothing with him.
Death and rebirth with him.
Very, very interesting.
And yes, he does take it personally.
What's so interesting is he has Venus in his first house, which often indicates a very attractive appearance.
I think they sort of threw out the mold with his chart.
Oh, I shouldn't say that, but I don't see him being very attractive.
Well, I think in terms of you've got Venus in Scorpio, that means he's magnetic.
He has a magnetic personality.
It's not necessarily, you know, physical features.
It's more energetic in the case of Scorpio.

Well, but the first house is physical appearance.

I have seen sorts.
Where the person was not what you would call a beauty, but they had a beauty about them.

I have not yet learned to find that in his visage.

Well, I also want to say that he does have Saturn in the 12th house, so there's a lot of karmic stuff going on in his life.
And he has some, it would seem, very firm challenges as a result.
Also with his north node in Aquarius, it would appear that he should be even more of a communicator than he is if he was to work towards his strengths in the future.
Well, let me tell you, make a quick snippet here.
The April 4th eclipse is in 14 of Libra.
His sun is 13 of Libra.
When you have an eclipse on your sun, you have a new life.
It doesn't mean that you're going to die and be reborn, but it's not a new chapter.
It's a new book, and this is going to be April 4th.
Remember, it will be strongest in the summertime.
So we're looking at a new start.
It may be a new approach for him, but it's more than just an approach.
It's a whole new life for him.

Well, they're relating to Simon Parks and others.
Let me just say that what they're referring to are Camelot witnesses that have been talking about 2016 as being a year of...
Great portent, so to speak, and that there would be a lot of change during that year.
I don't know.
I mean, we're in 2015.
I don't know that you've actually looked at 2016.
Are you able to look ahead quickly and say anything about what you might think about 2016?
Yeah.
Yes, definitely, definitely.
It always tickles me when, you know, I've worked all day on 2015, and people want to see, and I had no problem with that at all.
Okay, first of all, as I mentioned, the beginning of 2016, the good news is that the Uranus-Pluto square will be over.
Now, remember, these planets sitting out there don't Do anything unless they trigger something, quote-unquote trigger, in your chart so that the changes will be determined by the countries involved, the people involved, etc.
We still have the Uranus-Pluto square at the beginning of 2016.
Uranus is rebellion.
Pluto is total Out with the old, in with the new.
And so that square starts moving out of range because Uranus moves faster than Pluto.
So that square that has been with us and has been manifesting as all of our climate changes, all of the Earth changes, I should say.
The snow, the weather, the tornadoes.
I've never seen so many tornadoes.
As you know, I lived through one in 2013.
Never thought there would be a tornado in.
Atlanta, but there it was.
So, Uranus is moving out of range, and I'm happy to say that all of the turmoil caused by the Uranus-Pluto square is moving out of range.
This is terrific.
Now, Saturn and Mars are going to be conjunct for a while in Sagittarius.
When you've got Saturn and Mars sitting there, Saturn makes it tangible.
Mars wants to fight it.
Wherever Mars is, that's what comes first to you.
So there are a lot of things that are going on with the heavy plants.
Where were those eclipses?
Here we go.
We're going to be into the Aries-Libra eclipses.
Excuse me.
We're going to be into the Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Libra.
Oh, my God.
And mainly the Virgo-Pisces eclipses.
And this is going to bring about more changes in work and health and behind-the-scenes activities of all kinds.
We're going to have to wait until 2016 to see which countries' charts are affected, meaning which countries are involved in this.
And once that happens, then I'll be able to predict.

Now, somebody else is asking, does astrology show exo-political alliances?
Do you want to attempt that?
Oh, my goodness.

It certainly can, but once again, you can't just look at the planets as they're written in the ephemeris, which is the book that lists all the planets.
You have to see which planets Charts they affect.
As far as exo-politics, I can't get enough of it.
I love hearing about it, but it depends on how it affects the charts of the people and the countries that are involved.
You can't just pull it out of the sky.
I'm so sorry, because it's one of my favorite topics.

I mean, it's all over the place, and it's going to get stronger.
And once that Uranus-Pluto square is out of orb in 2016, you'll see, because Saturn will be in Sag, that is long-distance communication correspondence and transportation.
It makes it tangible.

Well, also Pluto in the Ninth House of the United States indicates, since they seem to be But the thing is, Pluto doesn't enter the 9th house of the United States chart until 2019.
The 8th house is secrets, my darling.
Right, but Pluto should be, usually, well, Pluto should be unearthing secrets, so that we should be going through that.
But the problem is, when it's in the eighth house, it's still secret.
The secrets will emerge when it enters the night.
Does that make sense?

Remember, the eighth house is the house of secrets.

So you've got the planet that rules the natural eighth house, The planet is secrets.
Right, but there is transformation.
There is transformation, and this is where secrets are being revealed.
