Saved By Faith Alone 00:02:23
Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
The Reformation has taught us that a person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
According to the Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone.
It's all alone.
We're not saved by works, and we're not saved by faith plus works.
But the reformers espoused this key principle.
We are saved by faith alone, but a faith, a genuine faith, a real faith that actually saves, is never alone.
It will always be accompanied by its twin sister, if you will, good works.
We are saved by faith alone, not by faith plus works.
It is God's work alone.
He gets all the glory because He does all the work.
We are saved by faith.
Alone.
But faith that saves will always be evidenced by good works.
Our good works do not save us, but they are the evidence of faith which saves us.
Our good works are the fruit of the root which is faith.
Oh, hi, I didn't see you there.
