[00:00:12]  The Reformation has taught us that a person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
[00:00:22]  According to the Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone.
[00:00:25]  It's all alone.
[00:00:26]  We're not saved by works, and we're not saved by faith plus works.
[00:00:31]  But the reformers espoused this key principle.
[00:00:36]  We are saved by faith alone, but a faith, a genuine faith, a real faith that actually saves, is never alone.
[00:00:46]  It will always be accompanied by its twin sister, if you will, good works.
[00:00:54]  We are saved by faith alone, not by faith plus works.
[00:00:57]  It is God's work alone.
[00:00:59]  He gets all the glory because He does all the work.
[00:01:02]  We are saved by faith.
[00:01:05]  Alone.
[00:01:06]  But faith that saves will always be evidenced by good works.
[00:01:11]  Our good works do not save us, but they are the evidence of faith which saves us.
[00:01:18]  Our good works are the fruit of the root which is faith.
