DAILY TRUTH - How Are We To Worship?

Daily Truth host critiques modern church practices, arguing that many worship man rather than God by treating Jesus as an accessory to justify self-worship. He contends that focusing on how good or brave Jesus makes people appear actually centers attention on the individual's image instead of the Creator. Ultimately, this analysis exposes a dangerous spiritual shift where religious attire masks deep-seated narcissism, urging listeners to leave five-star reviews to ensure biblically faithful content reaches those needing correction. Worshiping Man Instead of God 00:01:48
Hey guys, real quick before we get started, I have a small request.

This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content gets out to as many people as possible.
Thanks.
Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
If we're worshiping God, why is the first question, do people like our style?
Why is the first question, is this encouraging and uplifting to man?
Are we worshiping man?
I would argue yes.
In many churches, yes.
Under the guise of worshiping God, we have people celebrating man.
Jesus is literally nothing more than an accessory.
That I put on myself, and then I stand in the mirror and I justify my self worship by saying, I look really good wearing Jesus' apparel.
And so I think, therefore, I'm worshiping Jesus.
You're not worshiping Jesus, you're worshiping how good and how brave and how awesome Jesus makes you look.
You're worshiping you.
You might say, Well, but I'm worshiping the new creation that comes about as a work of God.
New creation, old creation, still creation, not creator.
That's the only thing we worship.
Thanks so much for listening.
But, real quick, before you go, do us a small favor take a moment and leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the show.
This is undoubtedly the best way that you can help us get this biblically faithful content to as many people as possible.
Thanks so much.
