[00:00:30]  If we're worshiping God, why is the first question, do people like our style?
[00:00:37]  Why is the first question, is this encouraging and uplifting to man?
[00:00:44]  Are we worshiping man?
[00:00:45]  I would argue yes.
[00:00:47]  In many churches, yes.
[00:00:50]  Under the guise of worshiping God, we have people celebrating man.
[00:00:56]  Jesus is literally nothing more than an accessory.
[00:01:00]  That I put on myself, and then I stand in the mirror and I justify my self worship by saying, I look really good wearing Jesus' apparel.
[00:01:11]  And so I think, therefore, I'm worshiping Jesus.
[00:01:14]  You're not worshiping Jesus, you're worshiping how good and how brave and how awesome Jesus makes you look.
[00:01:20]  You're worshiping you.
[00:01:21]  You might say, Well, but I'm worshiping the new creation that comes about as a work of God.
[00:01:25]  New creation, old creation, still creation, not creator.
[00:01:30]  That's the only thing we worship.
