The Lindell Report - Mike Lindell·May 8, 2026·The Mike Lindell Show- From Palisades to Public Schools: A System on Fire with Education Whistleblower Geno Young·
Geno Young exposes Chicago schools where children live-stream sex acts and face gender ideology mandates, citing a DOJ probe into 36 Illinois districts for restricting bathrooms based on biological sex. He argues that normalizing "trans two spirit vampire" identities constitutes child abuse, driving families to flee states like Texas and Tennessee. Connecting open borders to tragedies like the death of Sheridan Gorman, Young urges voting in 2026 midterms to halt societal destruction, framing the crisis as a deliberate infiltration threatening American cities and values. Mike Lindell's Pillow Guy Greeting00:15:08
You ever see this guy with the pillows on Fox?
My pillow guy, Mike Lindell.
He is the greatest.
The My Pillow guy, thank you.
Mike Lindell.
And he's been with us right from the beginning.
Happy Friday, everybody.
We've officially made it to the end of the week.
And just a couple days short of Mother's Day this weekend.
So, wishing an early happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.
We're going to jump right over to the White House now, where Kara Castronova joins us.
And I know President Trump's been out there recognizing some angel moms and some other stuff like that.
So, Kara, thanks for joining us.
Why don't you just give us an update of what's happening there this Friday over at the White House?
Well, today at the White House, President Trump had a beautiful luncheon earlier today.
It just actually ended a little while ago where angel moms and Gold Star moms who lost children to wars or to incidents in the military were here in the Rose Garden, which now has a cement floor.
So it's not grass anymore.
But that was because a lot of women, when they had their hot heels on and it was rainy, they would sort of sink into the grass.
So it's beautiful out there, regardless with the patio or not.
It was really just decorated beautifully.
There were stands out there where they were giving some of the women and the moms bouquets of flowers.
There was, I'd say, about a crowd of 100 because it is a rare thing to be a Gold Star mom or an angel mom.
So it was nice.
They had a nice luncheon.
President Trump made a speech.
He spoke directly to these moms and came out from the Oval Office.
Here is a clip from President Trump's speech earlier today.
These incredibly brave and resilient women have turned terrible tragedy into unyielding resolve, becoming advocates so that their mothers.
Do not have to endure the same heartache that they've felt all their lives.
They've felt for so long.
They've raised the most beautiful child that is taken, and they've spent so many years.
In many cases, I see some of you for, I've known you for years, and others are unfortunately new members of that club.
And I say unfortunately, it's a sad thing.
Should have never happened.
Should have never happened.
In their honor, we've rapidly turned the worst and most dangerous border.
In the history of our country, into the strongest border in American history.
We have no people come in during the last 11 months.
We have zero, zero.
So, yes, that was earlier today.
And later today, President Trump will be making a speech at a golf tournament.
So, that's the LIV tournament.
And we'll be joining him, the press pool.
We'll see if that opens up to actual cameras where the audience at home can view that.
But that should be an interesting day.
As you know, President Trump does love golf, and the LIV tournament is here.
At Trump's golf course in Sterling, Virginia.
So that's what's on the agenda tonight.
So, President Trump, right now, is busy in the White House as the Marine is standing at the door.
I believe he has some policy meetings going on that are closed to the press.
Yesterday, though, we were here at the White House when the Brazilian president and we spoke to you, Heather, was here, and not much opened up to the press, but the president did take a surprise trip over to the reflecting pool in between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
This was sort of out of the blue.
He just decided he wants to take a ride over there and view it himself.
The president, as you know, gets very irritated and annoyed when these monuments are not kept.
He believes that D.C. still needs some beautifying.
He specifically is annoyed with the reflecting pool, which he says has tons of dirt in there and grime that he wanted really cleaned out.
And an ABC reporter that was in the press pool got to join the president and ask some questions.
He became very irritated.
I actually know this reporter.
I was with her yesterday.
When she asked, when we have the war going on with Iran, how come you're fixating or focusing on these things?
And the president was not happy with that question.
Take a listen.
We are here against the backdrop of the war in Iran.
Why focus on all these projects right now?
You know why?
Because I want to keep our country beautiful and safe.
Beautiful also.
This place was a disgusting place.
It was Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and we had a terrible disgust.
I don't know.
You probably don't see dirt, but I do.
And you walk down this pond.
If you were to walk down, they'll tell you better than anybody.
They had to take 11 or 12. truckloads of garbage out of that lake, out of that water.
It sat there for years like that.
And that's not what our country is about.
Our country is about beauty, cleanliness, safety, great people, not a filthy capital.
What is the status?
That's such a stupid question you ask.
We're fixing up the reflecting pond to the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and you say, why are you fixing it up?
Because you can understand dirt maybe better than I can, but I don't allow it.
This is one of the worst reporters.
She's with ABC Fake News and she's a horror show.
She's saying, Why would you bother fixing this up?
Why would I bother taking 11 or 12 truckloads of filth out of the water in front of the Lincoln Monument?
That's what made our country great.
Beauty made our country.
People made our country great.
A question like that is a disgrace to our country.
Oh, man.
So, yeah, the president just annoyed.
Yeah.
I mean, it was genuine.
You could see he was super irritated.
It's true.
We should keep Washington, D.C., beautiful.
And not forget about that, especially the reflecting pool, which is historic.
And everybody knows from when Jenny runs across it to meet Forrest and Forrest Gump.
But, you know, people don't swim in that pool, but it is a reflection of the United States.
Tourists come here from around the world, and if there's filth and grime in there, obviously that's something that has to be addressed.
And the president literally took a ride down there with the motorcade personally to observe this yesterday.
So that was the clip that came out of that that everybody is talking about.
But they are cleaning up the reflecting pool and a lot of the monuments.
That's the good news, Heather.
And other news.
Go ahead.
Extra credit for President Trump for doing that.
Because I just remember, you know, when I had traveled down to DC prior to him getting elected the second time, just the homelessness, the trash, like that I witnessed myself all over our capital.
And like you said, people from all over the world come to Washington, DC, you know, to see our nation's history and our capital and things like that.
And when the first thing they see are like tents all over the place, garbage, it's like, what does that rep, like that represents us on the global stage when people go back and they tell their families, Oh, we went to the capital of America and it was, you know, like a dump.
There was trash everywhere.
There was people living on the streets.
That's not something that we want the world to see and to have represent our country.
So I got to give credit where it's due.
President Trump is absolutely right when it comes to cleaning up all the filth and keeping our streets clean.
That's the sort of environment we want our entire country to look like.
You know, when you go over to California and you have pretty much an entire zip code full of tents from homeless people shooting up, doing drugs.
Defecating on the sidewalks, like the horror stories coming out of California in particular, are just like a nightmare.
Women can't even push their babies down the sidewalk without being, like, you know, like attacked essentially by these like drug zombies walking the streets.
That's the reality in some parts of America.
And so, hat tip to President Trump for actually cleaning up the mess that was left behind by the prior administration.
For sure.
And for personally doing it and being so invested in it, it is interesting just how much dirt.
Annoys the president and it annoys a lot of people, but not everybody has the power to drain out the pool and refill it, which is what they're doing.
And the president was also asked about the Hantavirus.
Everybody talking about this new virus that has some people on a ship quarantined right now.
So, this is the latest.
The WHO is investigating possible human transmission of Hantavirus on a ship.
A lot of people are wondering what this is about.
The president is, I believe, being briefed on that.
And a reporter did ask him about the Hantavirus yesterday.
Take a listen.
Have you been briefed on the virus?
Yes, I have.
Can you tell us what you learned in these briefings?
Well, I think you're going to be told everything, and you already have.
It's very much, we hope, under control.
It was the ship, and I think we're going to make a full report about it tomorrow.
We have a lot of people, a lot of great people are studying it.
It should be fun, we hope.
So, hopefully, the president will inform us more about his thoughts on the Hantavirus and interested to see what comes out of that.
If they're going to make a big deal of it like they did the coronavirus, or if it's something that they're sort of testing the waters with, it should be interesting.
But a lot of people have questions about this new virus that is taking up some part of the news cycle, Heather, as you know.
And also the president on Iran as well, or actually Marco Rubio, who we got to really spend some time with last week, as you know, in the press briefing room, sort of updating us on Iran, talking about.
Iran, there was a reporting overnight about Iran trying to establish an agency that's going to control traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, which Marco Rubio said would be unacceptable.
Please take a listen to Marco Rubio from earlier today.
Well, we should know something today.
I mean, we're expecting a response from them.
We'll see what the response entails.
The hope is it's something that it can put us into a serious process of negotiation.
Obviously, we've seen the reporting overnight that Iran is established or trying to establish some agency that's going to control traffic in the Straits.
That would be very problematic.
That would actually be unacceptable.
I mean, the normalizing of their controlling of international waterways is both illegal and it's just something that's unacceptable.
And the world has to start asking itself, what is it willing to do if Iran tries to normalize a control of an international waterway?
I think that's unacceptable.
But we're expecting a response from them today at some point.
We have not received that yet in the last hour, but perhaps that will come.
Their system is still highly fractured and a bit dysfunctional as well.
So that may be serving as an impediment.
I hope it's a serious offer.
I really do.
So that was Marco Rubio talking about Iran as the saga obviously continues, likely for the foreseeable future or the near future.
What's going on with Iran, as you know?
Hopefully, we'll get a Pentagon briefing with more explanation next week, Heather, and you could join us here.
And speaking of the Department of War, Pete Hegseth put this ex post out today.
A lot of people talking about aliens and UFOs.
The Department of War stated that.
Secretary Pete Hexha stated that the Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government's understanding of unidentified animalist phenomena.
They're calling it UAP.
These files, hidden behind the classifications, have long fueled justified speculation, and it's time the American people see it for themselves.
This release of declassified documents demonstrates the Trump administration's early and earnest commitment to unprecedented transparency.
And a little researching, I've sort of picked through these files.
And, you know, some of them are just describing things that people saw, like Buzz Aldrin observing a fairly bright light source.
This is what he called it while aboard the Apollo 11, a mysterious object making, quote, multiple 90 degree turns, end quote, at a speedy clip, and a blaringly bright object doing corkscrew twists over the skies in Kazakhstan.
So these are some of the details in this new batch on UFOs that the Pentagon released today as President Trump has tapped into, as you know, the public's long held curiosities about these unidentified objects in space.
A lot of people asking questions is this real?
Is it not?
Would the Department of War or the CIA really?
Allow us to access this information so easily.
Sort of the Department of War's website, if you check it out, is sort of like tapping into the whole black and white imagery, sort of an old school feel to that website.
So a lot of people saying, Is this real?
If there was really UFOs and if there was a phenomenon out there that was actually something that, especially in the recent past, could be real, would they give us access to this information or are they curating it sort of as a distraction and an?
Love the people at Fox News, especially the reporters here at the White House.
But when you have Fox News reporting in it, sometimes you wonder, are they in on the joke?
This is just what I'm hearing sort of on X.
A lot of people are very suspicious about these UF files and just how, you know, how real they are.
Or if they're releasing and curating information sort of as a distraction to maybe shut up the Alex Jones of the world.
They are hoping he'll dive into these and sort of lay off the administration's back.
Yeah.
You know, it's interesting.
I dug through some of the files too this morning after they were released and some of the photos, I'm like, you know, like what?
Can you really make anything of that?
And a couple weeks ago, we actually did like a full, you know, UFO alien segment here.
Back when I think it was Tim Burchett and Matt Gaetz and Anna Polina Luna were all putting out like those bizarre claims regarding, you know, sort of like aliens and like technology that's like unexplainable and things like that.
And Brandon in particular thinks the whole UFO thing was more of like drones, right?
Like drones have been around for quite some time now, but at one point in time it was relatively new.
Technology, but you know, whether or not there's aliens and UFOs, who knows?
I know Elon Musk has also come out saying that he hasn't seen any aliens, and I feel like if anybody would have seen them, it probably would have been him.
But yeah, it'll be interesting what comes out moving forward because I guess this is just the beginning, and they're anticipating releasing more files regarding all of this stuff.
Catholic Views on Mothers and Mary00:05:16
They are, and as you mentioned to the members of Congress, and I've spoken to some of them off the record who's like, Who have said to me, if only you saw what I saw in these classified briefings, you would never look at the world the same again.
But you also have to remember that, you know, the House of Representatives in particular are just regular people and they are the representative of regular people.
And every time I speak to them, sometimes I'm actually how quote unquote regular they are, even when it comes to intelligence levels.
And sometimes I wonder if they release this classified information.
And it's not just me.
Again, these are ideas that are sort of circulating online.
And this isn't factual.
This is just.
Me speculating when it comes to these classified information they give to the House, is it to distract them as well, where they'll go on the news and talk about it, talk to it with their constituents?
Again, would they really put that information out there for the public to see?
And sometimes you wonder if they're sort of manipulating the House of Representatives as well.
I do believe UF.
So to be clear, I believe UFOs and alien life do exist.
I just don't, I'm very suspicious if the government would really let the American people know that, what they really do know, and if it's really these.
Orbs of light that they're seeing in the sky, or if it's really just aliens amongst us, some people say.
I don't know.
It's just speculation again on all this alien stuff.
We really don't know.
I don't know if we'll find out in our lifetime, but right now, this is the sort of news of the day that the Pentagon is releasing these unclassified or now unclassified, once classified materials on UFOs and these things in the sky, Heather.
I know.
It is really intriguing.
You know, as somebody who grew up watching the X Files at my grandparents' house, when I would go over there, they'd always have that on.
And so the whole eerie alien thing existing has always been intriguing to me.
So I'm curious to see what comes out coming forward.
But I wanted to ask you one last question here before we let you go.
In anticipation of Mother's Day this weekend, it was something I was thinking about before I brought you on.
And that's how the Catholic faith in particular really celebrates Mary more than any of the other Christian denominations.
And even though I'm not Catholic, I do kind of appreciate the fact that the religion does give credit to the importance of mothers, in particular Mary.
And so I was hoping maybe you could just share a few words as a Catholic yourself.
On, you know, Mother Mary as we come into this Mother's Day weekend.
Sure.
I know that it's obviously something that a lot of people that are not Catholic can't comprehend.
Praying to Mary, Hail Mary, is a prayer that we learn very young as Catholics.
Mary, Mother of God.
So she, and the Mother of Jesus that was there with him when he was crucified on the cross.
So the Catholic religion really does honor Mary, prays to Mary as someone to sort of talk through Mary to talk to God and really just holds her up on a very high pedestal.
Her position as the mother of Jesus.
So, yeah, that's a great question, Heather.
It is Mother's Day, so it is a time to celebrate Jesus, Mother Mary.
If obviously it wasn't for her, you know, I would assume that God would maybe choose somebody else, but He did choose Mary for a reason.
And she is very, very important in the Catholic religion.
So, happy Mother's Day to Mary, and thank you for making that connection.
And I know a lot of people can't understand it.
I overheard today people talking about the Catholic religion and how they worship saints and this and that.
But, you know, say what you want about the Catholic religion for people who can't perceive that, that are maybe of a divinity religion.
What gave it a bad name through past decades, this is only in recent times, keep in mind, was a couple of priests who gave the religion a bad name.
I know priests very personally in the sense that I'm friends with them.
I knock on their doors.
They literally will let you in or let you do a confession right on the lawn, or they're just regular guys.
There's a priest back home in Long Island I know that actually has a motorcycle.
He's just a regular person.
And It's a beautiful religion.
It's a very holistic religion.
A lot of these priests and nuns are sort of hippies down at heart.
A lot of them rejected the mandates.
A lot of them rejected the vaccine.
They didn't believe in the COVID lockdowns.
So take it with a grain of salt, the doctrine that comes out from the higher ups in the Vatican.
Each and every nun and priest is.
And have really won me over in these past years just because I do believe it is one of the most peaceful religions out there.
Well, thank you for sharing that.
And I'm glad I had the opportunity to ask because I learned through you a lot about the Catholic faith.
And, you know, as we approach Mother's Day, I just think it's important.
No matter who you are, like all Christians should, you know, appreciate Mother Mary because without her, we wouldn't have Jesus.
So thank you so much, Kara.
Thank you.
Thank you, Heather.
Happy Mother's Day.
Thank you.
Yes, I am indeed a mother.
But when we come back, we are going to pivot.
We're going to go over to California on the West Coast and talk a little bit about what's happening over there.
But first, we're going to take a quick break.
We'll be right back.
Mike Lindell here.
American Independence Gold Partnership00:03:10
The radical left and the deep state aren't just coming for our freedoms, they're coming after our money too.
For years they've been destroying our economy from the inside out with reckless spending, open borders, woke policies that crush our businesses, and now they've left us with an inflation disaster that's wiping out the savings of our hardworking families.
They don't want us to be independent, they want us to be dependent on the government.
Well, that's not going to happen on my watch.
That's why I partner with American Independence Gold.
It's a veteran owned company that's helping patriotic Americans fight back by protecting our savings with real physical gold and silver.
And right now they're giving away up to $15,000 in free silver and a free gold IRA kit.
A portion of all the profits go to 9 11 first responders and veterans at the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
The deep state can't touch your gold, so visit MikeLindellGold.com or call 844-714-4653 right now.
That's MikeLindellGold.com.
Take back control.
You know, most people think water is just about filtration, but in reality, it's about balance.
What gets removed, what gets left behind, and how the water actually behaves once you drink it.
Well, many traditional systems focus on one thing: removal.
Reverse osmosis, for example, strips water down completely.
It may sound ideal, but it removes minerals that our bodies need.
The Sentry Wellness System was designed with a different philosophy.
It removes common contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, and PFAS while restoring key minerals like magnesium and improving alkalinity.
It also does all this without tanks and without wastewater and without requiring a complicated installation.
It installs in about 15 minutes under your sink.
So instead of overcorrecting, it brings your water back into balance.
Please visit SentryH2O.com and use promo code Lindell for 10% off your next purchase.
Well, hello, everyone.
Well, I'm turning 65, and let me tell you, Medicare has me confused.
All the junk bill and the robocalls and everything else, it honestly feels like they break the system just to confuse us.
Well, that's why I partnered and working with Chapter.
They're independent, and they don't work for big insurance.
They work for us.
In fact, they're the only advisor that compares every single plan nationwide to find what actually fits your needs.
If you're on the right plan, they tell you.
If you're not, they're going to help you switch.
And it's completely free.
Just last year, seniors saved about $1,100 by finding a better plan with Chapter.
So call Chapter at 234 Lindell or go to askchapter.org forward slash Lindell.
Spencer Pratt Runs for Mayor After Fires00:11:23
Welcome back, everybody.
I want to take your attention over to California.
If you guys remember back in January of 2025, there was a fire that out in California destroyed tons of homes, including that of celebrities.
There you have on the footage some of the fires that plagued the Palisades.
And it actually drove a former Hollywood celebrity, you may know him from The Hill, Spencer Pratt.
To actually throw his hat in the ring and run for mayor after his home was destroyed.
And so I want to go ahead and put a tweet up on the screen here.
There's actually Spencer Pratt with his two running mates.
Mayor Karen Bass is running against him, and he blames Mayor Karen Bass essentially for the damage to his home and many others.
And I want to go ahead and put this tweet up here on the screen.
If we can put it up here, we have a video here of Mel Gibson.
He spoke out about the loss of his $14.5 million Malibu mansion in the devastating 2025 fires.
And I wanted to play this video for you guys of Mel Gibson because it really hit home about the importance of Jesus and not just the good times, but the tough times as well.
So let's go ahead and listen to this sound bite here from Mel Gibson.
It's like, hey, look, God gives, God takes.
We come in with nothing.
That's the same way we go out, you know.
And here's the deal you'll always be okay if you seek first the kingdom of God.
You'll always be okay.
You'll get what you need.
Look at the flowers of the field.
Look at the birds of the air.
They get fed.
They get clothed.
I mean, it's Matthew, I think.
But that was one of my dad's favorite passages.
He said, Stop worrying about stuff, about money, about stuff.
So, you know, that's, I think I, you know, he put that in my head when I was very young and it stayed and I believe it, you know.
Yeah.
So we'll be all right.
Honestly, I see it as kind of a blessing and a purification.
So, yeah, you lose.
Yeah, it's going to be murder getting the insurance.
I mean, everybody's renigging and.
You know, it's going to be a real cluster buster, you know.
Yeah, but uh, yeah, anyway, that's all ahead.
I, I, uh, you know, I got a lot of faith, yeah, not in our elected officials, no, no, no.
I mean, I just it's like a bittersweet video there, right?
Because in hindsight, he's totally accurate when he says that we come into this world with nothing, we leave with nothing, Jesus is really the only way, and he'll get us through everything, but at the same time.
You know, he did lose faith in his elected officials, and we have to hold accountable the people that were responsible for what happened there.
And that's exactly what Spencer Pratt is doing.
That's why he ran for office there against Mayor Karen Bass.
And here's a little bit of a clip of what happened in the recent debate this week against him and his two opponents.
Take a listen.
Robin acts like she doesn't have any authority with this homelessness.
She was the third most powerful person in city council.
She runs the homeless housing thing.
She acts like this is just Mayor Bass.
First off, inside safe.
I like to say inside safe makes all of us outside unsafe.
The reality is, no matter how many beds you give these people, they are on super meth.
They are on fentanyl.
The DEA statistics say 93% of this is a drug addiction problem.
Councilwoman Robbins' plan for treatment first.
I will go below the Harbor Freeway tomorrow with her, and we can find some of these people she's going to offer treatment for.
She's going to get stabbed in the neck.
These people do not want a bed, they want fentanyl.
Or super meth.
These ideas cost us over $400 million to house 70,000 people for $400 million.
This is an absolute failure for both of them.
They're a team.
So, Councilmember Rahman, you have 30 seconds to respond.
I want to just say to everybody who's watching today, you're going to watch today as Mayor Bass and Spencer Pratt attack me because they want to run against each other in the general election.
Each of them thinks that running against each other is what's going to help them win.
And they don't want to run against me because my ideas, which are based on real results in my district, which are based on real data, a real analysis of the system, and a focus on accountability and using every dollar as effectively as possible, which we have done in my district.
I want to take this citywide.
This is why this is happening today.
Council Member Smallman, we're out of time.
I'm going to give each of you 30 seconds to respond to this.
Mr. Pratt, I'm going to start with you, and then I'm going to go to Mayor Bell.
First off, Mayor Bass and I are definitely not working together.
I blame this person for burning my house and my parents' house and my town and all my neighbors down.
I am not working with Mayor Bass.
Second off, if I wanted to run against anybody, it would be the council member who is terrible.
Mayor Bass has at least been a mayor for almost four years and has, as she talked about earlier, the unions, all the unions endorse Mayor Bass.
You think it's easier to run against the incumbent mayor with all the unions or a random city council member who's been a failure?
For six years, I would much rather run against Councilwoman Rahman.
Thank you very much, Mr. Pratt.
So, I mean, so there you have it there.
There was a poll afterwards.
I believe Spencer Pratt was actually polled at winning the debate by over 80%.
This is just what happens when you get somebody that is so passionate because of the loss of his home that he's going to start fighting for that city.
And as you heard about the homelessness and the dangers of people just walking the streets there in LA, This ties back to what we talked about with Kara earlier in the segment, where she was talking about how important it was to President Trump to clean up the city, to clean up DC.
And he's done an incredible job there in Washington.
And now Spencer Pratt is hoping to do the same thing for Los Angeles.
So I want to also play a clip here from ABC, who is now reporting that an arsonist was responsible for those Palisades fires that initially motivated Spencer Pratt to run.
So take a listen.
About the man accused of setting the January 1st.
Fire that eventually touched off the deadly Pacific Palisades firestorm.
In a trial memorandum, federal prosecutors say 30 year old Jonathan Rinderconnect was distraught over a relationship with a former co worker and angry about not having any New Year's Eve plans.
Several Uber passengers he drove that night describe him as being angry, driving erratically, and ranting about being mad at the world.
Prosecutors say he was also fixated on Luigi Mangione and obsessed with fire.
Rinderconnect's trial is expected to begin on June 8th.
Prosecutors expect to call as many as 50 witnesses, estimating that will take up to 10 days.
Now, it'll be interesting to follow that trial to see what comes out because there are a lot of people that don't believe that both the Maui fires that we covered last week or the Palisades fires were necessarily a one person thing or a natural disaster, but something potentially more nefarious.
And I know one of the common themes between both the Maui fires in Lahaina and the Palisades is the inability for some of the people who owned those lands, the families that own those lands, to be able to rebuild their own homes.
So take a look at, you know, a humiliating report reveals LA wildfire victims trapped in a rebuild nightmare.
And so this is one of the things Spencer Pratt and even the Trump administration has been fighting Mayor Karen Bass on to just approve permits for these people to be able to rebuild their homes.
So, you know, you had these land developers in both scenarios, both Lahaina and the Palisades.
That are trying to seize up this land from the people that owned them.
And so it really makes you wonder if there's something more nefarious going on with both of these fires.
But I also want to go ahead and play another soundbite here from the debate here.
I believe, or actually, no, it's Spencer Pratt after the debate where he was just, you know, asked about his run for mayor.
So take a listen.
Look at the city right now.
Look at what their experience has done.
They don't want to talk about their experience because that would bring up.
What is your experience living under their leadership?
All I need to do is surround myself with people who don't call in bomb threats to City Hall.
The mayor's deputy mayor, when she was in Ghana when my house was burning down, he was under house arrest because he called in a bomb threat.
I just got off the phone with my potential deputy mayor, Chief Bobby Garcia from the U.S. Forest Service, right before this debate because I didn't know if the question would come up about public safety.
I said, When you retire, sir, you ready to be my deputy mayor?
He said, Let's talk.
As in, I'm bringing in experts.
My job as mayor is to just make sure our tax money is not being stolen and laundered to increase problems, which is happening right now.
Four more years, these people, another billion dollars, more drug addicts all over the street.
And so, one of the things that he mentioned is that Karen Bass's deputy mayor apparently was on probation for calling it a fake bomb threat.
And I had to look this up for myself, and I found this article here.
It says former LA deputy mayor sentenced to probation and a $5,000 fine for a fake bomb threat to City Hall.
A former Los Angeles deputy mayor who admitted to reporting a fake bomb threat to City Hall last year was sentenced on Monday to community service.
Brian K. Williams, 61 of Pasadena, was ordered to complete 50 hours of community work and to pay a fine during a year of federal probation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
So he wasn't joking there.
Mayor Karen Bass's deputy mayor, that was in charge during the whole Palisades-ish incident because she was out of the country.
Was on house arrest for calling in a fake bomb threat.
It sounds like satire, but it's actually real.
And it's probably why Spencer Pratt is actually leading in these polls out there for this mayoral race.
And there's one last thing I want to play for you guys.
And it's one of his many campaign ads that seem to be breaking the internet because there's really not been campaign ads quite like them.
So we'll go ahead and play this and then we'll wrap up the segment.
Just watch.
This is where Mayor Bass lives.
You notice some.
Or here, where Nithya Rahman's $3 million mansion sits.
They don't have to live in the mess they've created where you live.
This is where I live.
They let my home burn down.
I know what the consequences of failed leadership are.
That's why I'm running for mayor.
For my sons and the rest of us, Angelenos, that want to stop these corrupt politicians from destroying our city.
We are going to get the golden age of Los Angeles back.
And there you have it.
He's resonating with people because he's speaking truth.
We're going to take a quick break.
School Safety Failures and Corruption00:14:51
And then when we come back, we're going to pivot over to Chicago where we have a special guest joining us.
We'll be right back.

Welcome back, everybody.
Like I said before the break, we're going to take it over to Chicago right now, where we have Gino Young, who is a conservative author from Chicago's Southside, joining us.
And he's a former congressional candidate and author of a book called Sex, Drugs, and Illiteracy The Death of Education in America.
Gino Young joins us now.
Thank you so much for having me.
Well, thank you.
It's my first time interviewing you here on the Michael Lindell Show.
So I just want to Welcome you to the show and thank you for joining us.
Tell us a little bit about your book there and a little bit of your background.
Okay, well, I grew up on the south side of Chicago and I actually had the fortune of attending private schools.
My parents never wanted me in public schools.
I actually never stepped one foot in a public school until my very first day voting when I was, I think, 18.
So I was never a part of that scene.
And I always knew why they wanted that because I always heard, you know, how rough it was in public schools.
But I tell you, it was worse than anything I could have ever imagined.
And I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
So, I started to write my book when I went into the public education system.
I started working in the Chicago South suburbs in Bremen 228, the high school district, which covers Midlothian, a part of Country Club Hills and Oak Forest, Illinois, and Tinley Park.
And when I first started, I just did it because I needed some extra funds.
You know, in Joe Biden's America, things were tight.
I mean, I've always been blessed, but I could definitely stand to use more money to make more money.
So, that's why I did it.
And then the next thing I know, I'm just blindsided by just a complete and total breakdown of.
Any modicum of education standards.
I walk into a classroom and children are getting up and running in and out of classrooms.
I get into it in the book not to be graphic, but I actually had the unfortunate experience of witnessing a child live stream a sex act from the classroom with my face in the background and try and, and then when I told the administration about it, they sort of swept it under the rug.
That happened at Hillcrest High School in our country club, Pills, Illinois.
So, I mean, I get into a myriad of different things, but what gave me the impetus to write the book was that situation and also the fact that I received a death threat from.
A child when I worked there.
And when I reported it to the Country Club Hills police, the school wanted to say that since there was a verbal altercation between me and the child, that they didn't want me to work there anymore.
So it was just a myriad of terrible things that I saw depravity, a lack of education, a focused environment, and just a breakdown of standards across the board.
Yeah, that's like horrifying hearing what you're describing that you went to the school administration and they just wanted to cover it up.
Yes, definitely.
And this is not anecdotal.
I mean, this goes on all the time.
I can tell you, my mother still works in a school district.
It's Thornton District 205 in Dalton, Illinois.
She works at Thorn Ridge High School.
And just last month, I can tell you an incident.
They witnessed on the security cameras, they saw that somehow during the school day, the auditorium, which is normally locked, was open.
And they noticed a line outside the door had formed of boys.
And they were like, you know, what's going on?
Let's get somebody down there.
They get security down there.
Long story short, they found a young girl up under the table.
I won't say what she was doing, but we can all fill in the blanks.
Up under the table, boys going from person to person.
A line had formed outside of the door.
She was performing a sex act on these kids, and they were once again live streaming it over the internet and recording it.
The school administration found out about it, and I guess they tried to make them delete it and they locked down that area so that no one could take the video or do anything with it.
But of course, we know the internet is infinite.
For all we know, that video very well could still be out there.
So these.
It looks like we may have lost his signal there.
I'm sure he'll be joining us here again momentarily.
But I mean, that is horrifying to hear just like what's going on in these schools there in Chicago.
And I know America is a very big country and different areas have different experiences within their school systems.
But we as a country have to really crack down on making sure that every single child in our country is getting a proper education.
And I think he's back with us now.
But let's go ahead and see if we can bring Gino in because I'm.
Mortified by hearing about this story here.
Oh, he dropped out again.
So we're going to give him another couple of minutes.
But, you know, this is something, believe it or not, Charlie Kirk is actually from Chicago, Illinois.
And he spoke out about a lot of the schools and stuff out there as well, which is really what prompted him to get involved with the college campus stuff and speaking out.
So there's nothing more important than education here.
And we have some clips here to play.
For you guys.
Oh, actually, Gina, welcome back.
Do we got you?
Hi.
I'm so sorry.
Can you hear me?
Yeah, we can hear you.
Glad we got you back.
Okay, I'm so sorry about that.
So, just to wrap up that story, the school, they once again, nothing happened of it and nothing happened from it.
And that school, Thorn District 205 or Thorn Ridge High School, they covered it up.
So, it's just a myriad of depraved things that I witnessed, my family members have witnessed, and that are going on in these schools.
Yeah, you know, when you dropped out, one of the things that I remembered is Charlie Kirk is actually from Illinois and she.
Chicago, and he used to speak out about the school system is out there as well.
So, is it more of like an isolated to Chicago, or is it the entire state of Illinois that's sort of dealing with this stuff within the school systems?
Oh, no, it's everywhere.
It's pervasive, it's in all the schools, particularly the lesser functioning schools.
I'm not going to say that's in all the schools, but it's in a lot of the lesser functioning schools, a lot of the schools in lower income areas.
And Charlie definitely spoke about this a lot.
And I actually wrote a tribute to Charlie in this book when I was.
Creating the book, I was in the ending stages of producing the book, and of course, the assassination happened.
So, I do dedicate a section of the book to Charlie because he was one of the best teachers I ever had, as good as any teacher I've ever had in any school that I went to.
But back to the schools, this is definitely something that's getting worse and worse.
And the schools, the State Board of Education is really corrupt from top to bottom, and they passed all types of different legislation that's now codified all types of different comprehensive sex ed into our schools, which is teaching a myriad of perversions and normalizing LGBTQ propaganda in our schools.
I worked at one school, Tinley Park High School, and it was a Spanish class.
And of course, we all know that Spanish is a gendered language, right?
But they had, the teacher had just all of these amorphous LGBT terms all across the classroom.
Her desk was just littered with bumper stickers of LGBTQ and all types of horrible leftist phrases.
So we're screwing up these kids, or should I say, they're screwing up these kids from the onset.
So it's really no surprise when I walk into a classroom one day and I see a child that's telling me my name on the roster might be Johnny, but call me Mia or my brother.
Was substituting in a classroom and he encountered a child who told him that he identified as a trans two spirit vampire.
So let that sink in a trans two spirit vampire.
So these are the types of perversions and just depraved wickedness, if you will, that is being instilled and sort of verified into these children today.
And the schools, they're going out of their way to satiate and coddle these kids and make them think that these lifestyles and these delusions of theirs are okay.
Yeah.
And you know what jumps out at me is there's scripture that says, Raise up a child in the way of the Lord, they won't depart from it.
And what we have here is them trying to raise up children in the way of perversion and sort of allowing them to essentially be gaslit.
Because this is really sad for kids, not just in Illinois, where you're at, but all across America, where there's this, and even the globe.
I've heard this is actually happening.
And there's your book there, but this is happening in other countries as well, where you're having these.
Kids be essentially psychologically abused by trusted authority figures within the school administrations, right?
Like the adults are responsible for what is happening to these kids because a real adult would look at a kid and tell them, Look, you're perfect the way God made you.
You can't change your gender, but you don't have to.
There's nothing wrong with you.
But what we have is a system of adults now telling young, vulnerable, impressionable kids, There's something wrong with you.
You need to change who you are.
You need to take these drugs.
You need to.
Call yourself a different pronoun.
And it's really child abuse at its core.
It is.
And it's pervasive.
It's everywhere.
The districts that I worked in, somehow, I don't know how, but I knew what would happen, but I really don't know how it happened.
They've somehow found out that I wrote this book.
So they're not happy about that.
I mean, nothing has come of it, but they're definitely not happy that I wrote this book.
And they're not upset about the fact that these things are occurring in their schools.
They're more upset with the fact that someone is exposing it.
But I said, you know, this is my calling.
Here I am, Lord, send me, let me go, I'll tell it all.
And I'm not afraid, I'll tell it all.
Amen.
I applaud you, Gino.
You know, I also want to point out, too, in Chicago, if we can jump ahead here with our producer, there's a video I want to play for you.
The DOJ has launched a civil rights probe into 36 Illinois school districts for sneaking gender ideology in.
So if we have that salt, let's go ahead and play it.
Might be one second, going a little out of order here.
Let's see.
All right, we may not.
This breaking news the U.S. Justice Department has launched a civil rights investigation into 36 Illinois school districts, including several in the Chicago suburbs.
They are investigating whether schools taught lessons on sexual orientation and gender ideology, and if so, if parents were notified of those lessons.
This investigation will also look at whether schools limit access to places like bathrooms and locker rooms based on biological sex.
So there you have it.
So I'm assuming the schools that you worked for are probably a part of that investigation, Gino.
I'm sure they are.
I actually get into it in my book.
There's a story that I tell about one of my friends who was a substitute teacher at the school.
This was an older lady, maybe in her 70s, and she went and used the women's bathroom.
And she was just in there, you know, in the bathroom, doing whatever she had to do.
And the next thing she knows, she hears this low bass, like male voice.
And she said that she was just shaking to her core.
So she finally got up.
Opened up the bathroom door and she looked out, and there was this boy, and he had this long black weave and like eyelashes and everything, and was just standing there grinning at her.
And she was, you know, horrified because coming from her generation or even, you know, my generation when I was a kid, these things were not part of our discourse.
This was not a thing 10 years ago, 20 years ago.
So, you know, that's the part that I just can't understand.
They want us all now to reimagine the way that we live our lives.
And particularly as women, they want women to just accept these.
Perverted ideals that they're pushing and accept all these people that now decide on whatever given day that they're going to wake up and put on a costume, because that's what it is a makeup wig and eyelashes, put on a Halloween costume and call themselves a woman.
And God forbid anyone speak out about it.
If you say anything, you're in trouble.
So, you know, that's not surprising that that's going on here in Illinois because, like I said, I heard secondhand from a friend that I knew very well at that time what was happening in that school, Hillcrest High School.
So I know that that's happening.
And the Illinois legislature has actually passed multiple laws codifying a lot of the different sex ed and a lot of just perverse things into law.
And there was one bill they were trying to get passed saying that if your child identifies as whatever, That the parents would not be notified.
So they were sort of piggybacking off of California and a couple of Eastern states.
So it's not surprising at all.
Now, is there pushback from the parents?
I mean, when they're sitting there trying to pass these bills to do stuff without parental notification, I have to imagine that every parent in that area is outraged and pushing back against this.
There are a ton of parents that are outraged, but unfortunately, in this state, for every 10 parents that are outraged, they're probably.
50 parents that are all for it because that's just how rotten the leftism in Illinois has gotten.
And there's this great profile on Instagram.
The name eludes me right now.
I think it's called Midwest Audit.
But he goes out and he just holds a sign on any given road in Illinois and it says, Trans women are men.
And he gets so much pushback just by standing on the edge of the road with the sign.
And he's been all around the Chicago area, he's been all out in the suburbs downstate.
So, you know, it's really unfortunate because we're one of the most moved out of state.
So the state is getting bluer and bluer.
And it's getting less and less common sense by the year because more and more people are fleeing to Texas and Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and not just for lifestyle, but also to get away from these politics.
Fighting Voter Suppression in Indiana00:09:22
And the people who believe in that stuff here, they really believe in it.
Like it's entrenched.
They really, really believe it.
So we have some true believers here.
And unfortunately, I foresee, with the unfortunate outcome of our primaries back in March, I foresee J.B. Prisker getting another term and it's just getting worse and worse.
Yeah, I know.
That actually makes sense that a lot of people are fleeing that area because it is scary.
Even myself as a parent, like I could never live in an area where the government just could do things to my child without me ever knowing.
I mean, that's horrifying to me.
It's like an absolute nightmare to think of living under that sort of conditions.
I guess one of the things too coming to mind right now here is that maybe the churches across America, instead of taking missionary trips to You know, other countries, maybe we need to start sending them to Chicago and these American cities that are so desperate for, you know, spiritual revival.
It just, it's like this is like a demonic influence over these people that, you know, to sit there and believe like wrong is right and right is wrong, it's just, it really makes you realize that this is a spiritual battle that we're facing and that the only way that we work through it is by us as believers, true believers, right?
And the Lord Jesus Christ going to these.
People and praying for their souls and praying that they get delivered from this psychological warfare that's being waged against them.
I want to get your take, Gina, on another issue out there in Chicago.
Really, it affects the schools as well.
There was a headline here about a recent woman whose daughter was killed by an illegal immigrant out there.
She was a student.
And it said, Grieving parents of slain student Sheridan Gorman speak out.
We can't let this happen to another family.
We have her comments recently about this issue.
And I have to imagine the illegal immigration stuff impacts the school systems as well.
So I'll get your thoughts, but we're going to go ahead and play a clip from this mother who is impacted by the illegal immigration in the sanctuary city of Chicago.
Take a listen.
It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done.
And one of the things that's so hard is this devastating darkness has just come over me.
It's a combination of grief and anger and hate.
Those are feelings I've never felt before.
And you wake up every day and I fear that I'm going to have that in my heart forever.
And I can't.
When we went to the courthouse, I remember sitting there.
I was sitting between my husband and my.
One of my best friends, Cleo, and I was clutching their hands for dear life, holding on.
And before he came, I was envisioning myself jumping over the bench in front of me, which, you know, or screaming out loud, just why?
Like, why?
Why did you do this?
And like Tom said, our biggest fear, I can't even watch the news.
Our biggest fear is it's going to happen to someone else.
I pray every day.
I don't believe I have any enemies, but if I did, I wouldn't wish this on them.
I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
This is a heartbreak.
You know, people do say it feels like your heart was ripped out of your chest.
I thought the first day with the police coming to our door and falling to my knees, I thought that was the worst.
But every day is worse.
Every day is worse.
You know, I have to walk by her bedroom.
Our dogs lay on her bed all day.
They don't understand she was supposed to be home yesterday.
She would have been coming home from Loyola.
It hasn't felt real for us because she wouldn't have been home.
And yesterday was probably one of the hardest days I've ever had.
There's just a sadness that.
I've never experienced.
And in that courtroom, I actually had a fury and anger that I've never felt before, that I can't believe I was there.
Why was I even there?
Why did I have to be there?
So that's a real reality for parents.
And I can only imagine how does the open border stuff in Chicago, right?
You have the one element is the dangers of these dangerous illegal immigrants.
But what about the illegal children that are they being.
Put into the schools there in Chicago?
And how is that sort of playing a role into this whole ordeal?
Well, I can tell you without a doubt that they are.
I can tell you from my own personal experience.
When I worked at one of the schools in the suburbs of Chicago, I noticed and my brother noticed that there were all types of children in there who were Hispanic, but they didn't act like normal Hispanic children that had been, I guess, naturalized or had been who were used to being here.
They couldn't speak a word of English.
They ran around the classroom like, Wild animals.
You couldn't even really say too much to them because they didn't understand what you were saying.
And it wasn't until my brother, like, slammed his hand down on the desk and said, sit down, that they realized what he said.
And they sort of backed off and sat down, you know, and then they started murmuring amongst themselves.
But I noticed that those children were completely out of control.
He noticed that they were out of control, and we knew that they were illegals.
And I can tell you right here in my community, maybe about 10 minutes away from me is South Shore High School, and they wanted to.
Use that facility.
It was actually national news back in, I think, 2023 or 2024.
The Biden administration wanted to use that school, wanted to allow the Chicago mayor to use that school as a harboring facility to house illegal aliens who they were bringing in by the busload who were getting rightfully shipped out of Texas and Florida.
And Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott were sending them up here to the quote unquote sanctuary city.
And I commend them for doing that.
But unfortunately, it was going to be in my community.
So a lot of people.
From my community rose up and they stopped that.
Then they tried to erect a migrant facility or illegal alien facility in Roseland, which is maybe about 20 minutes from my house.
And once again, the community stood up and I was out there with them protesting and everything.
And then they decided not to do that.
So we see this.
This is an issue, it's been an ongoing issue.
And my heart goes out to the Gorman family because that's such a horrific incident.
And there's nothing I can say, there's nothing that anyone can say that can ease that pain.
I don't think that a parent who loses a child can ever really get past that.
It's just a gaping hole in your heart forever.
And my heart definitely goes out to them.
But it's a microcosm.
And I say this to all the Republicans out there who are listening to these different influences.
I won't.
Influencers, I won't mention their names because they're peons and I don't want to give them any props.
But there's a huge movement right now going on on the conservative side telling people to stay home in the midterms, don't vote Republican, make the Republicans feel heat because this pet cause didn't get solved or Epstein didn't get solved or the president said this or that.
Don't listen to any of those people.
Anyone telling you not to vote in 2026 in these midterms is telling you to give a yes vote to the destruction and give a yes vote to the ideology.
That took Sheridan Gorman, Lakin Riley, Jocelyn Nungary, all these beautiful young women who had their entire lives ahead of them away.
That mindset that's telling you to stay home and not vote is going to feed the fire that is burning, the demonic fire that's burning in these leftists.
So I tell you, if you're listening to anyone who's telling you not to vote or anyone who's trying to demoralize you, don't buy it.
Look at what happened in Indiana, my neighboring state, the other day.
The GOP candidates that President Trump backed wiped the floor with rhinos.
Do not be demoralized.
Don't listen to the polls.
The president is unpollable.
We know that.
Get out.
And vote.
And that's the only way that we can right this ship and make sure that we don't get another situation where we get another candidate, like or so called president, like Joe Biden in office, who allows the entire third world to infiltrate our country and kill American citizens because that's who they represent.
They don't represent us.
They're not here to represent us.
They're trying to replace us with these people.
And unfortunately, the blood is on their hands.
All right.
Well, thank you so much.
Well said, Gina.
Well said.
And, you know, I just thank you so much.
In honor of her daughter, we should recognize that Chicago, Illinois, and every other American city is worth fighting for.
And we have to fight with our votes.
We have to fight with our voice.
And so I applaud you, Gino.
We're running out of time here, but let's promote your book one last time.
We'll put it here on the screen for people.
Go check it out Sex, Drugs, and Illiteracy The Death of Education in America.
Thank you, Gino, for joining us.
We're definitely going to have to get you back here on the Lindell Show.
So thank you so much.
Thank you so much for having me.
It's been a pleasure.
God bless.
God bless.
All right.
I mean, what an incredible show today.
A lot of great information coming up.
But we have to, above all else, keep fighting for every single child, every single American city.
This country is beautiful and it's worth fighting for.
And that's what we're going to keep doing.
So, have a great weekend, everyone.
We will see you back here on Monday.
And happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.
