Jeff Dunham asked Bubba J, have you ever done any acting on Bubba J? What if Bubba J was like only the acting that we all do day to day?
Acting like we're apart from the machine grinding millions to death.
Acting like we've got everything to lose and nothing to gain.
But no, he says, he also has a good answer that I like.
He says, yeah, when the cops pull me over, I act like I haven't been drinking.
Yeah.
Okay, that's at least like a slice of life.
It's not like a cheap shot at Jeff Dunham's looks or anything like that, you know?
I identify with this.
I think we've all lied to the cops, probably.
Yeah, absolutely.
I do also like this too because that joke hits.
Everyone's like, yeah, I drink and drive too.
The whole crowd is like, we're in Milwaukee, baby.
This is the beer capital of the world.
Of course I'm drinking and driving.
Right.
And then Jeff says, what if they get a breathalyzer?
What if they have a breathalyzer?
And then Bubba J says, then I get to go to a sleepover.
And he means, like, you know, go to the drunk tank, go to jail, go to prison, seemingly confirming that Bubba J does have the mind of a child.
Yeah, absolutely.
Like, he doesn't really understand what's happening when he's getting arrested.
Not realizing, you know, what's going on.
Like, I want them to act out a scene where Bubba J realizes it's not a field trip.
You know, like, they won't let him go back.
Like, it dawns on him that they just, like, won't let him leave.
He can't go back to his fucking watering hole and sister that he has sex with or whatever hills have eyes type shit Jeff Dunham puts into this character and he starts freaking out and they shoot his caseworker in the back.
I want to see that acted out.
Yeah.
Jeff says, Christmas is a time for loving your fellow man.
And Bubba J gives him this side eye that he likes to do.
It's where one of the eyes rolls to look over at Jeff Dunham.
And I was like, where are they going with this?
And I guess I'm just...
I'm just not in this wavelength.
Did you know where this joke was going?
Oh, I instantly knew where this was going.
I was like, I'll tell you what, my gaydar was pinging.
You were like, pause!
Yeah, pause game.
Loving your fellow man.
Pause.
I was like, oh my god.
Bubba J says, does your wife know?
And I was like, oh, it's a fucking gay joke.
Oh my god.
I guess I'm too much of a socialist now.
I'm neck deep in this shit, but I still don't clock loving your fellow man as a gay joke.
That just sounds like harmony.
Yeah, right?
I love it too, though, because he does do it to a way he's like, does your wife know?
But he doesn't go the route kind of you're going.
He's like, because you should probably tell her it's okay.
You should be transparent about these things.
I like that he went that route with it.
Um, she, uh, he said, your wife's gonna be like, why do you like the hot dogs more than the honey-baked ham?
Yeah!
And I was like, okay, okay, so the sexual preferences in this joke are translating to the food preferences as well, which is a cute thing, very cute thing to joke about.
And then I was also like...
I've never thought of a honey-baked ham as a vagina, but I kind of get it now, you know?
