| Because protecting your family starts with protecting what you treasure. | |
| Do you remember a while back, not too long ago, when people used to laugh at preppers? | |
| The idea of a guy or somebody who would prepare, who would actually anticipate and imagine that there were terrible things that could possibly happen and befall the world. | |
| That there are terrible things that could happen. | |
| That maybe stores would be closed or that food would be unavailable. | |
| And that it would be a good idea to prepare. | |
|
Why Some Are Prepared
00:04:57
|
|
| To maybe have one of the holy troika, you know, food, water, and energy. | |
| Energy can help you, but water. | |
| What happens if water becomes contaminated? | |
| What happens if, for a variety of reasons, you need emergency food? | |
| Remember that? | |
| And then they would be kind of laughed at, as usual. | |
| They would laugh at these people. | |
| Oh, you're just a prepper. | |
| You're one of these tinfoil hats. | |
| By the way, it's aluminum. | |
| We haven't used tin in years. | |
| What do you want the black helicopters to come? | |
| You're out of your mind. | |
| And they would usually promote this thing that you were somehow a conspiracy theorist or some doomsayer or some Cassandra. | |
| And then we go through the California fires, the Lahaina fires, with all kinds of theories as to what might or might not have precipitated or ignited that particular instance. | |
| Then you have unrest, the George Floyd riots. | |
| We had COVID where the world shut down. | |
| We went crazy with people, and this is important, with people who were... | |
| Remember, toilet paper is scarce. | |
| Toilet paper runs during COVID. | |
| When people say, what are you running for? | |
| What the hell does toilet paper have to do with this? | |
| This is the first time I've ever done a spot like this for a sponsor, but for something I believe in. | |
| I have been asking for the longest time. | |
| You know, when you do YouTube, you can... | |
| I mean, I'm a capitalist. | |
| I have been in radio most of my adult life and proudly promote great products, great sponsors, because this is America, this is capitalism, and part of the idea of currency. | |
| Commercial intercourse, as we call it, economic transactions and the like, you promote. | |
| And there's been wonderful, wonderful products, and people do it, and that's what you're used to. | |
| In fact, that's what makes commercial radio and commercial platforming commercial. | |
| But I ask people to say, I want there to be, find for me, please, please, find for me home preparation, food prep, the best. | |
| And the best, and there's a lot out there, and I'm not going to mention anybody by name, but the best. | |
| Do you hear what I'm saying? | |
| Right here. | |
| Look at this. | |
| So right now, until I get the word, I don't know how long this is going to last, so you've got to act for it. | |
| But right now, to get people going is a $200 off savings for a three-month emergency food kit. | |
| Now, why do I like this? | |
| First, it can't be hard to get to. | |
| These are beautifully stackable. | |
| It's 120 pounds of food. | |
| Just for this one right now. | |
| Three-month emergency food kit. | |
| This is 90 days. | |
| It's 120 pounds of food. | |
| Six of these buckets that are water-resistant. | |
| Very important. | |
| Water, rain, flood. | |
| 25-year shelf life. | |
| Usable, reusable pouches with oxygen absorbers so that if you open something up, you can close it back up again. | |
| It makes sense. | |
| 21 varieties. | |
| Go through the list. | |
| We're not talking banana chips and prune juice here. | |
| We're talking about a variety of things because this has to keep you going. | |
| And there has to be enough of a variety so that you don't pull your hair out in the event you might have to go a week, two weeks, 90 days. | |
| Experts say you need one of these kits per person in your home. | |
| One of these per person. | |
| And once you buy it, once you store it, I know friends of mine, some in particular, just keep storing it, adding up like with their ammunition, let's face it, during times of, you know... | |
| Problem, and then whenever there's a breakdown of order, bad people come around, bad people come a-knocking, bad people. | |
| So those who are prone and who are apt to have some type of a device, some type of a self-defense unit at their home, namely ammunition and weapons and the like, they'll buy ammo and water. | |
| And My Peritry Supplies has so many different items that you need, but this is where to start. | |
| You also support the show, obviously, but you support yourself through some of the most rational, lucid purchasing ever. | |
|
Scenario Of Shutdowns
00:04:40
|
|
| My friends, 10 years ago, maybe less, but I'll give it a good 10, I would have said to you, listen, yeah, there may be some problems. | |
| You know, there might be a, you know, maybe there's a hurricane or something. | |
| So this is a good idea. | |
| Not anymore. | |
| Let me tell you the scenario I'm thinking about. | |
| It's not that there's going to be no food. | |
| It's that there's going to be no stores. | |
| And the stores, one store is going to shut down. | |
| Maybe people get rambunctious. | |
| Maybe people try to storm it. | |
| Maybe people try to break in. | |
| Who knows? | |
| The insurance carriers for these stores are going to say, close down. | |
| We're not going to risk anybody getting hurt. | |
| Forget it. | |
| Shut it down. | |
| That is then reported to the local news organizations. | |
| Then that story is repeated to another. | |
| And the next thing you know, everybody shuts down. | |
| And then the panic sets in. | |
| You see, the panic is the second part of this duality. | |
| There's the event, and then there's the panic. | |
| And then people start going nuts. | |
| Remember, they went crazy trying to find toilet paper. | |
| Here in New York, whenever there's a snowstorm, people, they have a mad rush for bread and milk. | |
| No idea why that combination? | |
| God forbid you have lactose intolerance and you're inside a house for a long period of time, it'd get pretty nasty. | |
| What I'm saying to you is that when panic starts, that's when things get really scarce. | |
| They went crazy trying to find hand sanitizer. | |
| There was a story in, was it Florida? | |
| Where they were shutting down... | |
| Gas station, service station, service station, listen to me, fill up facilities because the gas was, quote, contaminated. | |
| I have no idea. | |
| Then there was a week when there was ransomware. | |
| Remember this? | |
| Ransomware? | |
| Malware? | |
| Where, for some reason, these shut down pumps? | |
| What? | |
| Then there's El Nino's coming or riots or another George Floyd. | |
| There will be. | |
| Listen to what I'm saying. | |
| Sad to say there will be some young, probably a young person of whatever race, that will be shot tragically by a police officer just because of the odds, just by virtue of, not the police are bad, but because of, you know, contact and the like. | |
| I guarantee you as we speak, contingency plans are already written. | |
| Already choreographed. | |
| They know exactly what they're going to do. | |
| They learn from each event, from every George Floyd, from every whatever. | |
| When that happens, everything closes down. | |
| If it ever gets to the Rodney King level, which I hope never happens, you can forget stores, neighborhood stores, and then you can also, you can just see I'm just telling you, it's obvious. | |
| It takes the slightest fear to destroy normalcy and normality. | |
| Dear friend, dear, dear friend, please go to preparewithlionel.com. | |
| Look at this. | |
| Ask yourself. | |
| Does any of this not make sense? | |
| Is any of this unnecessary? | |
| Do you think the idea of emergency food, prepping, whatever, that it doesn't make any sense? | |
| I don't think you'll say that. | |
| That's all. | |
| For you, for your family, for peace of mind, because I promise you, you're going to need it. | |
| Thanks for watching, my friend. | |

| I mean this from the bottom of my heart. | |
| I have never, ever done a specific video of this nation, or this notion, or this nature, I should say, for this particular subject. | |
| I believe in it that much. | |
| And I'm right. | |
| And I'm sad that I'm right. | |
| But I'm right. | |
| Now comment as you see fit. | |
