[00:01:26] Because protecting your family starts with protecting what you treasure. [00:01:33] Do you remember a while back, not too long ago, when people used to laugh at preppers? [00:01:39] The idea of a guy or somebody who would prepare, who would actually anticipate and imagine that there were terrible things that could possibly happen and befall the world. [00:01:52] That there are terrible things that could happen. [00:01:58] That maybe stores would be closed or that food would be unavailable. [00:02:03] And that it would be a good idea to prepare. === Why Some Are Prepared (04:57) === [00:02:07] To maybe have one of the holy troika, you know, food, water, and energy. [00:02:12] Energy can help you, but water. [00:02:13] What happens if water becomes contaminated? [00:02:15] What happens if, for a variety of reasons, you need emergency food? [00:02:21] Remember that? [00:02:22] And then they would be kind of laughed at, as usual. [00:02:25] They would laugh at these people. [00:02:26] Oh, you're just a prepper. [00:02:28] You're one of these tinfoil hats. [00:02:30] By the way, it's aluminum. [00:02:31] We haven't used tin in years. [00:02:33] What do you want the black helicopters to come? [00:02:36] You're out of your mind. [00:02:37] And they would usually promote this thing that you were somehow a conspiracy theorist or some doomsayer or some Cassandra. [00:02:46] And then we go through the California fires, the Lahaina fires, with all kinds of theories as to what might or might not have precipitated or ignited that particular instance. [00:03:02] Then you have unrest, the George Floyd riots. [00:03:08] We had COVID where the world shut down. [00:03:13] We went crazy with people, and this is important, with people who were... [00:03:22] Remember, toilet paper is scarce. [00:03:25] Toilet paper runs during COVID. [00:03:26] When people say, what are you running for? [00:03:28] What the hell does toilet paper have to do with this? [00:03:32] This is the first time I've ever done a spot like this for a sponsor, but for something I believe in. [00:03:39] I have been asking for the longest time. [00:03:41] You know, when you do YouTube, you can... [00:03:43] I mean, I'm a capitalist. [00:03:44] I have been in radio most of my adult life and proudly promote great products, great sponsors, because this is America, this is capitalism, and part of the idea of currency. [00:04:00] Commercial intercourse, as we call it, economic transactions and the like, you promote. [00:04:05] And there's been wonderful, wonderful products, and people do it, and that's what you're used to. [00:04:10] In fact, that's what makes commercial radio and commercial platforming commercial. [00:04:13] But I ask people to say, I want there to be, find for me, please, please, find for me home preparation, food prep, the best. [00:04:21] And the best, and there's a lot out there, and I'm not going to mention anybody by name, but the best. [00:04:30] Do you hear what I'm saying? [00:04:32] Right here. [00:04:32] Look at this. [00:04:35] So right now, until I get the word, I don't know how long this is going to last, so you've got to act for it. [00:04:41] But right now, to get people going is a $200 off savings for a three-month emergency food kit. [00:04:49] Now, why do I like this? [00:04:51] First, it can't be hard to get to. [00:04:56] These are beautifully stackable. [00:04:59] It's 120 pounds of food. [00:05:01] Just for this one right now. [00:05:02] Three-month emergency food kit. [00:05:04] This is 90 days. [00:05:06] It's 120 pounds of food. [00:05:07] Six of these buckets that are water-resistant. [00:05:10] Very important. [00:05:11] Water, rain, flood. [00:05:15] 25-year shelf life. [00:05:20] Usable, reusable pouches with oxygen absorbers so that if you open something up, you can close it back up again. [00:05:26] It makes sense. [00:05:28] 21 varieties. [00:05:30] Go through the list. [00:05:31] We're not talking banana chips and prune juice here. [00:05:33] We're talking about a variety of things because this has to keep you going. [00:05:37] And there has to be enough of a variety so that you don't pull your hair out in the event you might have to go a week, two weeks, 90 days. [00:05:49] Experts say you need one of these kits per person in your home. [00:05:57] One of these per person. [00:06:01] And once you buy it, once you store it, I know friends of mine, some in particular, just keep storing it, adding up like with their ammunition, let's face it, during times of, you know... [00:06:13] Problem, and then whenever there's a breakdown of order, bad people come around, bad people come a-knocking, bad people. [00:06:22] So those who are prone and who are apt to have some type of a device, some type of a self-defense unit at their home, namely ammunition and weapons and the like, they'll buy ammo and water. [00:06:35] And My Peritry Supplies has so many different items that you need, but this is where to start. [00:06:42] You also support the show, obviously, but you support yourself through some of the most rational, lucid purchasing ever. === Scenario Of Shutdowns (04:40) === [00:06:52] My friends, 10 years ago, maybe less, but I'll give it a good 10, I would have said to you, listen, yeah, there may be some problems. [00:07:04] You know, there might be a, you know, maybe there's a hurricane or something. [00:07:07] So this is a good idea. [00:07:09] Not anymore. [00:07:09] Let me tell you the scenario I'm thinking about. [00:07:12] It's not that there's going to be no food. [00:07:14] It's that there's going to be no stores. [00:07:20] And the stores, one store is going to shut down. [00:07:23] Maybe people get rambunctious. [00:07:27] Maybe people try to storm it. [00:07:29] Maybe people try to break in. [00:07:31] Who knows? [00:07:34] The insurance carriers for these stores are going to say, close down. [00:07:37] We're not going to risk anybody getting hurt. [00:07:39] Forget it. [00:07:40] Shut it down. [00:07:43] That is then reported to the local news organizations. [00:07:46] Then that story is repeated to another. [00:07:48] And the next thing you know, everybody shuts down. [00:07:51] And then the panic sets in. [00:07:53] You see, the panic is the second part of this duality. [00:07:57] There's the event, and then there's the panic. [00:08:00] And then people start going nuts. [00:08:02] Remember, they went crazy trying to find toilet paper. [00:08:05] Here in New York, whenever there's a snowstorm, people, they have a mad rush for bread and milk. [00:08:11] No idea why that combination? [00:08:14] God forbid you have lactose intolerance and you're inside a house for a long period of time, it'd get pretty nasty. [00:08:19] What I'm saying to you is that when panic starts, that's when things get really scarce. [00:08:26] They went crazy trying to find hand sanitizer. [00:08:30] There was a story in, was it Florida? [00:08:33] Where they were shutting down... [00:08:35] Gas station, service station, service station, listen to me, fill up facilities because the gas was, quote, contaminated. [00:08:43] I have no idea. [00:08:44] Then there was a week when there was ransomware. [00:08:46] Remember this? [00:08:46] Ransomware? [00:08:47] Malware? [00:08:49] Where, for some reason, these shut down pumps? [00:08:52] What? [00:08:55] Then there's El Nino's coming or riots or another George Floyd. [00:09:00] There will be. [00:09:01] Listen to what I'm saying. [00:09:05] Sad to say there will be some young, probably a young person of whatever race, that will be shot tragically by a police officer just because of the odds, just by virtue of, not the police are bad, but because of, you know, contact and the like. [00:09:28] I guarantee you as we speak, contingency plans are already written. [00:09:34] Already choreographed. [00:09:36] They know exactly what they're going to do. [00:09:38] They learn from each event, from every George Floyd, from every whatever. [00:09:43] When that happens, everything closes down. [00:09:48] If it ever gets to the Rodney King level, which I hope never happens, you can forget stores, neighborhood stores, and then you can also, you can just see I'm just telling you, it's obvious. [00:10:07] It takes the slightest fear to destroy normalcy and normality. [00:10:16] Dear friend, dear, dear friend, please go to preparewithlionel.com. [00:10:28] Look at this. [00:10:30] Ask yourself. [00:10:33] Does any of this not make sense? [00:10:35] Is any of this unnecessary? [00:10:38] Do you think the idea of emergency food, prepping, whatever, that it doesn't make any sense? [00:10:45] I don't think you'll say that. [00:10:47] That's all. [00:10:49] For you, for your family, for peace of mind, because I promise you, you're going to need it. [00:10:55] Thanks for watching, my friend. [00:10:57] The information is contained herein. [00:11:01] Both in the comment section and in the description. [00:11:04] I mean this from the bottom of my heart. [00:11:07] I have never, ever done a specific video of this nation, or this notion, or this nature, I should say, for this particular subject. [00:11:20] I believe in it that much. [00:11:23] And I'm right. [00:11:24] And I'm sad that I'm right. [00:11:26] But I'm right. [00:11:27] Now comment as you see fit.
