CNN, at its best, is only going to go so far.

I can guarantee you that the people who are involved, if you're in any kind of a media position, the people that are directly in front of you are nincompoops.
They want to come in to change things for their own basis.
I have worked.

And the things that are the most important, the things that are the most critical, what I would do to CNN is find out, do some research.

Now, one of the things which is the most important is you have to have people who have talent who are in front of the camera, in front of the mic, but also the management who understand the business.
People who really understand it.
Not somebody's brother-in-law, not somebody who used to be in radio sales, but now is going to be in programming because, well, it just makes sense.
Or who used to be in the network C-suites, but now is going to come in to...

What does CNN want?
Who is their audience?
It's liberal.

If I went in there and I programmed it, I'm saying, I want liberal programming, progressive people, progressive issues.
I want to make sure we give them the issues they want.

And they almost had a revolt.
And they said, yes, know what you want.

What are you good for?
That's the thing.
Whether you're conservative or not, but I'm telling you, the story's not going to be CNN.
