At one time, when asked whether journalism should be licensed, he says, you only need a license to cut hair.
This is the man who gave us narrow casting, who said, you listen to Fox News.
And listen specifically to what it is you expect to hear and will give it to you.
Not broadcasting.
Not this generic kind of a wide berth, wide field, a large broadcast prism.

It will be specifically what you want and what you expect and what you think you need.
What is it now?
I don't know.
Tucker Carlson is one of the most fascinating stories.
Tucker Carlson thought he could get a little bit away from the model.

And he, the other night, when he starts giving Trump a hard time, he's signaling to his bosses the new regime.

Roger Ailes is dead.
Forget Murdoch.
This is a new era.
And to prove our point, We even got rid of old Tucker.
Not because they had to.
Nobody had, as a condition of settlement, getting rid of Tucker Carlson.
He's not that important.
And by the way, one more word about Tucker.
Tucker's going to find out that he's been gone too long.
You see, there's a certain gravitational pull that he has to understand.
There's a certain degree.
There's a time limit where if you remain out, Of the focus of the audience.
For X amount of time, they will forget you.
It's like the couple who says, I think we need a little time away.
I think we need some breathing room.
Well, you know what that means?
That means it's over.
When you have breathing room in terms of television patronage and viewing habits, it's over.
It's done.
So, Fox News, you won't recognize it in six months.
It'll be as close to woke, And as close to a joke as you can possibly get.

And that is a harbinger that portends the future.

It is vatic when it comes to the future of the GOP in 2024.
