Number one, the reason why most people in this country don't understand what this means, because they're either I don't know.
Maybe it's what's in the water.
Maybe they're psych meds or all this hyperventilation by virtue of these masks.
I don't know.
But there's this torpor.
There's this lackadaisical disconnect, this ennui, this nonchalance.
That's number one.
Number two, the media go maybe...

And they stop digging, unpacking.
Three, what this is about is what we have been fearing in many iterations throughout the course of our constitutional republic.
Harry Truman worried about this with the National Security Act.
We've known this.
Our forebears worried about a standing army.
There's a corruption that's already in, within the intel state.
And I say this all the time.
It's a police state.
Oh, by the way, we have this unique duality.
We have a police state in terms of this intel security state, you know, FBI, CIA, whatever it is, but FBI now.
And FBI was pretty dormant for a while.
It was always the NSA.
We were worried about the NSA.
They're listening, CIA.
Now it's the FBI.
You've got that overreach.
This is COINTELPRO redux, is what this is.
You have that, that jackbooted thuggery, or you have police doing nothing with bail reform and sitting back and letting people steal and letting people rape and rob and pillage and murder.

Duality.
So there's multiple levels to this.
But be not mistaken, the Constitution, what's written, the spirit, the theme, the idea of this systematic codified order, separation of powers, and not this attack on Article II co-jurisdiction.

And a celebration, in essence, of jackbooted intel state thuggery.

And we're not to say that the rank-and-file FBI are not the greatest people doing it.

Bank robberies, they do wonderful things.

The ability to investigate federal crimes?

They don't do that.
They're not going to do that.

They're supposed to do what they're told.
That's why we don't blame them.

In every iteration, historically, of police and law enforcement excess, from Bull Connor to COINTELPRO to Frank Rizzo in Philly, whatever version you want.
And by the way, Rizzo did a lot of good stuff, but whatever your version is, whatever it is, foreign and domestic, you can go to any country from the Stasi to Soviet Russia to, I don't want to bring up our German despot, but even those folks never thought they were doing anything that was Despotic.
Or contrary to civilization and the rule of law.
They thought on the contrary.
They thought they were doing great.
They thought they were doing nothing but great stuff.
And they thought that they were needed.
And they thought that the person they were going against broke the law.
Or they thought they were just the necessary...

That's all it is.

I will never understand why anybody on any conservative cable news programs would stop what they're doing and play a clip from Joe Scarborough.

And for those of you old enough, you know what I'm talking about.

If MSNBC and CNN and these guys just kind of shrunk up, I don't know what they do.
