Now the amendments that were proposed are written to strengthen, this is the worst part, the World Health Organization and their ability to unilaterally intervene and corrupt the affairs and the goings-on of nations.
Merely, merely suspendingly of having a health emergency.

Now, so under these amendments, if the World Health Organization Thinks that there is a health emergency in one country that is susceptible to spreading around the rest of the world, they can intervene.
If the amendments are approved, the World Health Organization will have the power to declare, I'm using a lot of air quotes here, an international health emergency, which nullifies, destroys, and America will be abnegating the powers, so to speak, of Quote, listen to this.
The U.S. amendments delete a critical restriction in the regulations.

willy-nilly, and it can be used to justify, quote, as they say, ostracism and economic or financial actions, sanctions against the targeted nation by other nations aligned with the World Health Organization who wish to harm and control the accused nation.

However, the current proposed amendments would reduce that opportunity to six months.
If the amendments are passed, a majority of the nations could change their individual votes and reverse the approval in the next month.
Now, the world, listen to this, the UN in May of 2021 issued this thing called COVID-19, make it the last pandemic.
In this report, the UN claimed that the pandemic Would have been, or could have been, prevented if the World Health Organization had been given more global authority.
The report states, quote, this is a quote, In the current form, the WHO does not possess such powers.
To move on with the treaty, WHO therefore needs to be empowered financially and politically.
The treaty should possess An adaptable incentive regime, including sanctions such as public reprimands, economic sanctions, or denial of benefits.
