Laura, hi, what are you doing here today? | |
| So, we're here at Church of the Nazarene and we're helping Pastor Mattheo and his wife with a food bank for the Haitian community here in District 21. | ||
| And right now, we're putting together boxes of food to give out to families in need because already there was already a hunger problem here in the district. | ||
| But when you add on unemployment with COVID-19 and lockdowns and businesses being shut down, there's a lot of hungry families, especially here in the Haitian community. | ||
| So, we have the Laura Loomer for Congress volunteer team out. | ||
| We have about 10 volunteers, and we're going to be helping out with the food bank. | ||
| And we're also going to be helping register people to vote because we have elections coming up, and we're going to make sure that people get food, but then they're also informed about exercising their right to vote. | ||
| Hey, everybody, Laura Loomer here. | ||
| I'm a Republican candidate for Congress in Florida's 21st congressional district. | ||
| I just want to say thank you to Pastor Mattheo and his wife, Marlene. | ||
| We're here at his church, his congregation, Church of the Nazarene. | ||
| And I want to say thank you to all my campaign volunteers. | ||
| We helped coordinate a food bank today, and we were able to provide food to families in need. | ||
| People are having a hard time right now, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic. | ||
| A lot of people are losing their jobs, a lot of people are going unemployed, and that's added on to people who may have already been hungry prior to the pandemic. | ||
| And so, we're working every day to improve the community here in District 21, and that's what I plan to do when I get elected. | ||
| I just wanted to allow the pastor and his wife to talk about how you can also get involved in the community. | ||
| Thank you, Laura. | ||
| So, we want the community to know that Laura is committed to work with HECA Food Pantry to continue to feed the community. | ||
| Usually, we feed about 7,000 people a month that we don't have a location where we can storage the food. | ||
| And Laura is committed to help us cut all these trees. | ||
| We put a building here. | ||
| You see all these trees over there that we're going to cut them and put a building here so where we can storage the food and serve the community and feed the community. | ||
| And thank you guys for coming. | ||
| And thank you for committing to help HECA Food Pantry continue to feed the community. | ||
| Thank you. | ||
| We need fighters, and Laura's a fighter, and she doesn't back down to tough opposition, and that is what this country is in dire need of, and so that's why she's got our support. | ||
| Bottom line. | ||
| She is willing to serve the people instead of being served by the people. | ||
| And so that is really significant and a good leader, too. | ||
| I wanted to vote for Laura because what she stands for is exactly what I stand for. | ||
| Fighting against the tech bias, our freedom of speech, our Second Amendment rights, and to keep this country great again. | ||
| I'm voting for Laura Loomer because she stands for those who have no voice right now. | ||
| Her herself being deplatformed, being canceled on such a large scale. | ||
| I mean, if we send her to Washington, not only do we send an amazing representative who's going to fight for American values, protect our freedom of speech, protect our gun ownership rights, but we're also sending a message to DC that you can't cancel us. | ||
| That no matter what your beliefs, there is a place for us at this table and in our society. | ||
| And I could be no prouder to support anybody else. |
