Invisible Magazine Clips

Time Text
They take these clips and they put them in magazines and then they put the magazines in the barrel.
Can you believe that?
They do anything, I guess.
You know, I didn't know what a bump stock was until Las Vegas.
Yeah, bump stock, you just stick a little piece of cotton in there and it just turns the whole thing into an automatic machine gun, right?
Yes.
So they go in with a coupon from the NRA and they're like, hey, um, I have a coupon from the NRA for a PG 13.
Can I get one?
And they just give them.
They don't even really have to pay for them.
They think that every kid should have a have a PG 13.
Okay, that's that's insane.
I think it's great that you're talking about this.
I think it's a huge problem.
I mean, invisible guns are there.
We can definitely do better than we're doing now.
And the idea of invisible guns doesn't sound like we're doing better.
No more clips with holes in them.
And less clips with holes in them.
Yeah, sure.
It's no secret that Democrats want to take your guns.
And they will use any excuse to do so, even when they don't have a clue how they work.
I'm gonna prove that to you guys today.
We're going to go talk to Democrats and I'm going to explain crazy things about guns that are not true, how they don't even work.
And they're going to say we need to do something about it.
We're going to go talk to Democrats.
Resist.
Vote for Andrew Yang.
Check how progressive this sign is.
Right wing ends, it's ending, it's gone.
Wow, this is super cool.
Very cool.
We've got oh Jenitalia.
We're from the TYT army, it's the young Turks, and we had a meeting here today.
Um Morgan Harper spoke.
Um she's a great progressive running in the third district.
Wendy Minitzlaytail.
The right wing has been leading us astray, and they're spreading lies that uh the country is more conservative than it actually is.
So we're here to stand up for progressives and to let everybody know that we're here and we've got the majority.
All the the polling indicates that Medicare for All, that a Green New Deal, that getting money out of politics and um ending the corruption, that's what we stand for.
Have you seen the crazy things the Republicans are trying to push with guns?
Um they're trying to put a gun in every single classroom in a drawer.
Yeah, just right there.
We don't want any of that.
They're they just want a handgun right there in the drawer, no lock or anything just for anybody to get in case there's something happening.
Right, right.
So yes, we're and they want to put a piece of cotton in the barrel.
Have you ever heard of this putting a piece of cotton in the barrel that turns the clip magazine that's inside the threaded barrel inside the regular barrel?
Okay.
And they want to make it automatic.
Okay.
Well, yeah.
We can do it.
Or for less guns, okay?
The guns are the problem, okay?
Guns kill people.
People with guns kill people.
And the more guns you have, the more deaths you're gonna have.
It bears out in the numbers.
I've gotta go, it's been great.
What's your name?
My name's Jenna.
Jenna, I'm sorry.
Jenitalia.
Yes.
Thank you.
Have a good one up.
You too.
Take care.
TYT Army.
Oh yeah, TYT.
Have you seen where you can put 30 ghost gun round clips into a magazine?
Have you seen that?
No.
Do you believe it?
I I believe it.
You know, I mean, they right up there, they take these clips and they put them in magazines, and then they put the magazines in the barrel.
Can you believe that?
They do anything, I guess.
You know, I didn't know what a bump stock was until Las Vegas.
Yeah, bump stock, you just stick a little piece of cotton in there, and it just turns the the whole thing into an automatic machine gun, right?
Yes.
Yes.
I can't believe they're getting away with this.
I can't either, and you know, I applaud the uh retailers that have pulled them out of their stores.
Dicks.
It's stunning and brave.
Because we should actually leave like okay, some people say, oh, women need a gun to protect themselves from predators, but no, they don't.
No, and you know, like they talk about arming teachers in the schools.
By the time they pull out a handgun.
You know, and it it's all over with.
And then when the squad comes in, They see somebody with a gun, they're gonna shoot.
Have you guys heard about what the Republicans are trying to do with gun laws?
I have not.
Okay.
So crazy as this may sound, they're trying to make the clip of the firearm invisible so you can put it in the button stock and you don't know it's there, you don't know how many clips are in the magazine, and you just won't be able to tell if it's right there in the buttstock.
Do you think this is acceptable?
You know, I don't really know enough about it to know the impact of that, but anything like that does have me kind of scared.
So like an invisible clip in the butt stock makes it 100 times more dangerous because you can't see it, it's invisible.
Do you think that's okay to have on our streets?
Well, I was talking to some of the gun people today, and they had those um clips across their whole chest, and they had two guns.
So they've got a lot of uh ammunition in the game.
And I bet you some of it's invisible, you can't even see it all.
Well, conceal and carry.
I mean carry however that is, that's all in business.
That's invisible.
I asked them how much training they go through and if they have to do any continuing education, and they have minimal training and not any continuing education.
That scares me.
Yeah, because you should be you should have to go through government training to make sure you can defend yourself, right?
To make sure you know what you're doing and are responsible.
I think it's great that you're talking about this.
I think it's a huge problem.
I mean, invisible guns are a problem.
And we can definitely do better than we're doing now.
And the idea of invisible guns doesn't sound like we're doing better.
What do you think?
Nothing should be illegal as far as being able to carry.
I should be able to protect myself.
If I can't protect myself, then anybody could kill me.
You could kill me.
I like you.
I like you a lot.
Thank you for saying that.
I love your trail.
Thank you.
Have you guys seen what the NRA is trying to do lately?
It's been in the news.
I haven't seen what's going on lately.
I've um just I've been trying to keep more up with the impeachment stuff.
Yeah, uh, to see what's going on with that, but not with the NRA.
So they're making a kid version of the AR-15 for kids to have.
Um that's very uncomfortable.
Right.
They're calling it the PG-13.
And it's kind of funny because do you guys think kids should be walking around with AR-15s?
Is it like a BB gun or like it's an actual like assault?
223, yep.
Assault rifle for better terms, yes, they made an assault rifle for kids.
What do you think?
Uh that's kind of insane.
Is it legal?
Does anything the NRA does is illegal?
I don't know at this point.
It's like it's cut that's kind of crazy.
Like our parents just able to buy it for them.
Like so they go in with a coupon from the NRA and they're like, hey, um, I have a coupon from the NRA for a PG 13.
Can I get one?
And they just give them.
They don't even really have to pay for them.
They think that every kid should have a have a PG-13.
Okay, that's that's insane.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Did you have something else to say about it?
Yeah, I feel like just addressing gun control, that would come up as well.
Um, I just the school shootings and everything, it's very concerning, and I'm not comfortable with kids having guns.
I mean, I'm not even comfortable with some people having guns, so that's how you feel.
Where is my thousand dollars?
Gotta elect me first.
No, I want it now.
You say I deserve it, I want it now.
It's called democracy.
Or find give from Amazon, like I'm gonna get it from Amazon for you.
Yeah, tax them, they don't need that money.
Have you heard about what the Republicans are trying to do with guns?
What are they trying to do?
They're trying to take the barrel and curve it in a way to where it would make it actually automatic.
Are we gonna allow that to happen?
I don't know what that is, but are you gonna stand for it?
I think we need gun laws that make sense for America and kill people we need uh we need guns to make you know regulations like guns to be there, just like cars kill people.
We regulate cars, we make sure people have driver's license, background checks.
Because what they're trying to do is when you shoot a bullet through the clip, what they're trying to do is they're trying to put holes in the barrel to where you could just hold down the trigger and it just sprays out.
And that's not okay.
Okay.
I understand.
That's not okay.
Right.
Okay, thank you.
Yeah, and that's not sensible, is it?
So the P us as a nation can come together and left is not left or right, it's forward.
We need to have forward things that no more clips with holes in them.
Unless clips with holes in them, yeah, sure.
You're a Trump can.
And by God, those are the worst of them all.
So have you heard that they're trying to twist the barrel into a spiral so that when the bullet comes out, it comes out ten times faster.
Can you believe they're trying to do that?
This is like deja vu.
I was just watching on YouTube last night.
Hope you work.
Can you believe the Republicans are trying to do that?
Like way shorter in like life, real life or whatever.
They want to take the top of the the barrel where you can put a silencer on.
They want to take it and they want to put it inside the clip so that I don't know if you guys knew this, but if you take that little thing on the end of the barrel and you put it inside the clip that goes inside the trigger pull, you can make the firearm actually shoot as an automatic gun.
Is that something we should be allowing in this country?
Personally, no.
We've had two or three in the last four years of kids bringing a loaded gun to school.
Stop letting guns be invisible, you crazy Republicans.
Stop it.
So you shook your head, yes, that's crazy.
Why shouldn't we let the tip of the gun go into the clip into the trigger pull?
That's obviously just intended to do damage, and like that's not people claim that they buy guns to protect themselves, and if that's true, then why why would we need that to happen?
That's clearly intended to do one, do harm when someone's clearly not looking or watching, and to make sure no one knows it's you because I mean you do have the tracking um like serial number on your bullets, but if you're just intending to put that and make like that's just intended for damage, like there's no reason to do that.
Something else they're trying to do is they're trying to take the foregrip on it, they're trying to attach it to the front of the gun because that would make it have a little poof when it comes out the end of the barrel.
If you put the foregrip on, it actually goes poop and it goes like a hundred times faster.
What do you what do you think?
I feel like guns should just be banned in general.
She, I'm sorry, I misgendered your dog.
Oh, yeah.
That's rude.
I'm really sorry.
Okay, are we good?
They.
What?
They.
They is that is that their pronouns?
Well, when you don't know.
Oh, I can't just assume.
So if so if I didn't know your pronouns, should I have addressed you and say hey, they, or like they.
I shouldn't say he.
Uh yes, but I'm clearly a he.
Right.
Okay.
So if someone's more androgynous.
Then I should say they.
That's my general feeling.
Have you seen what the NRA is doing about furthering gun rights in this country?
Uh I've seen a little bit of the stuff that they've been trying to do.
Um, I probably couldn't speak to it specifically.
Have you seen what they're trying to do?
So, have you seen what they're trying to do with the ghost gun?
The ghost gun, is this like the 3D printed gun?
It's kind of like that, yeah.
So basically, what they want to do is they want to start 3D printing these guns and these clips that go into the barrel in clear plastic, so they're basically invisible, and you can't see them even if they would have them on.
All parts, all parts.
And then how diehard 2 happened is they got the Glocks through metal detectors because they were made of plastic.
I have no clue, but they want to make this clear plastic so that you can't even see the gun if they were to have it out.
It'd be like invisible.
Do you think that's a step too far?
Should we be doing something?
I feel like that seems a step too far in that I don't think it's technologically possible because you still have the machinery of the gun to actually see that it and then the bullet isn't necessarily clear, right?
Yeah.
They're trying everything to do it.
I mean, it might not work.
Right.
Or should we stop them anyway?
I don't think a clear gun would work made of plastic.
