Automatic AR-15s Debate 00:06:39
AR-15s have absolutely no use right now.
No use.
17 shots to kill a deer.
You need 17 automatic shots to kill a deer.
AR-15s are automatic.
What you call self-defense, more people get killed with their own AR-15 than get...
That's not true.
Oh, it is.
More people get killed.
Where a statistic do you go?
Your own gut, my sons are copins.
Like pretty easy.
Drink a lot of stuff.
Yeah.
I gotta be careful.
You don't want to give me an AR-15, an automatic AR-15.
Yeah, that's not what they are.
Can I talk about my company as well?
Sure.
What is it?
Is it a brewing company?
It's Old City Beer Tours.
So we run craft beer and brewery tours here in St. Augustine.
Maybe we'll put up a name plate on there.
I'll give you my business card right now.
Okay, here we go.
All right, look at this.
Look at this business and capitalism happening.
They got the business cards ready.
Like, this is capitalism right here.
We love it.
Discount cards for half the places in St. Augustine.
I got everything you need.
How is Betto going to implement a policy of going in and taking AR-15s from people?
Okay, so the first thing is the manufacturing, okay?
AR-15s have absolutely no use right now.
No use.
17 shots to kill a deer.
You need 17 automatic shots to kill a deer?
AR-15s aren't automatic.
No, they're semi-automatic, and for $4.95 on the internet, you can buy a piece that turns them to automatic.
They turn it to automatic?
What is it?
There's a little space.
There's a little space that's missing.
That if you put that in there, if you put the exact size that you need in there, it recycles the gas and makes it automatic.
What website is this sold on?
Just look on the internet.
I will.
That sounds really good.
Thank you for that information.
I'm going to need that.
You can see the dark web and ask the dark web and say, I'd like to make my AR-15 from semi-automatic to automatic.
I really like that.
Thank you for letting me know.
I'm going to need that.
I'm going to look into that.
I'm going to get some.
The audience will probably get some.
Three friends who have done it.
I've done it.
And I said, what for?
Well, God bless them.
What for?
You can't use it.
Because there's a presidential candidate that said, I'm going to come take your weapons from you.
I'm going to come in your home, I'm going to take him.
He's not taking your weapons, he's taking one weapon.
He's taking automatic weapons, and you can't use them in your house to protect your home because the bullets go through the wall and you'll kill your neighbors.
So you're not going to use an AR-15 in your house to protect your people.
People do.
Yep.
AR-15s are used for self-defense far more often than homicides.
Yeah, but self-defense, what you call self-defense, more people get killed with their own AR-15 than get...
That's not true.
Oh, it is.
More people get killed.
Where a statistic do you go?
Your own gut, my sons are cop and it's like pretty easy.
More people get killed.
What statistics does he use for that?
He uses the national database that the police departments use on what they should be looking for in this year's AR-15s on that list.
No, not AR-15, just automatic weapons, automatic rifles in general.
That's really weird because those are banned in America.
They are banned in America, but most of the ones that you're talking about are easily changed from semi-automatic to automatic.
And that's one of the problems.
The problem is I can go buy a non-semi-automatic AR-15 and for a few dollars they mail me a little piece that I slip into the weapon and it's now an automatic weapon.
Okay, so it's because some people do that, you think we have to ban them?
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah, because the other people wouldn't mind giving up their AR-15.
I would.
Hell no.
Hell no.
For what?
For self-defense.
For self-defense.
And you really think you're going to run to the closet, get your AR-15?
Nope, it's right by my bedside.
Don't need to even run through the closet.
You're all right, girl.
You got us AR-55.
So look at me.
Look at me.
I am small.
I am petite.
My arms aren't very big.
How am I going to fight off a group of men who wants to come in and rape me, steal my stuff, hurt my children?
What am I supposed to use?
You live that.
That's the problem.
It doesn't matter.
It does matter.
So, my safety and my rights determine are determined where I live.
No, not where you live, but if you put yourself in a position where you invite people.
I'm sleeping in the bed and people want to come in and hurt me.
You slept in the bed last week?
Did you invite the wrong people to your house?
Are you selling?
More people are going to be selling drugs with an AR-15 than sleeping in their bed.
That's the problem.
Where do you get these statistics?
I don't know.
Everybody I know.
The CDC usually is a drug dealer that I'm buying my pot from.
I don't know what.
Okay, what kind of people?
What kind of people is he hanging out with over here?
I drink a lot of tea.
Yeah, I gotta be careful.
You don't want to give me an AR-15 or automatic AR-15.
Yeah, that's not what they are.
Okay, all right.
This is weird.
Very weird to talk to like an older man trying to tell me I don't need something.
And then victim blaming people who want to defend themselves in their lives, especially women like me who are small, who would need an AR-15 to protect myself and my home and my children if I ever had them.
If my fiancé wasn't home to do it.
So this is really, really strange because not only do we have victim blaming, we have him justifying taking property from people.
I want to urge you guys right now to go to CaitlinBennett.org.
It's a new type of website that we are pushing to have people go and support me at.
So you can go there, you can buy so many products, t-shirts.
There are weekly deals that you guys can go to and purchase these products that directly help me and help fund this whole organization, this whole operation to fight people like that and people who support stuff like that and who support presidential candidates who want to come and take my firearms and leave me defenseless.
That man right there, he's dangerous.
As far as I know, he's dangerous for wanting to leave me defenseless.
If you want to leave me defenseless, you were automatically my enemy and you were automatically dangerous to me and you should be taken as a threat to the entire country.
So this company, leave them a good review about what they think about, you know, selling alcohol to people but then not supporting the Second Amendment.
So we're just gonna put it where it belongs.
And by the way, it should be mentioned that alcohol-related deaths are far higher than anything to do with firearms in general, no matter the type of firearms.
So is he really in the right business to be complaining about people dying?
Nope.
