To the streets of this or any Southern California city, local law enforcement is capable of handling the situation and should arrest anyone causing violence in the street.
We must call for calm in the streets and deployment of the National Guard may prompt just the opposite.

That's complete and total horse crap because here's the LAPD chief, Jim McDonald, saying that the situation was completely out of control and they need to reassess things.

Looking at the violence tonight, I think we've got to make a reassessment.

And by the way, so that chief says that, and then Gavin Newsom comes out and says, let me be clear, this is Donald Trump's fault.
We don't need these people here.
And I'm like, you put the guy on the ground in charge of the situation just said, you Yeah, exactly.

And they wonder why they lose the working man's vote.
